Thought I did my homework before buying a truck here. And still got taken advantage of by Twin Cities Motors. Turns out they are hard core wheeler-dealers. So be cautious they don't smooth talk you like they did me. A $11,200 truck turned into a $18,200+ Truck. ......Protect yourself with THESE 5 STEPS: -1- Drive that vehicle on streets and freeway for at least 5 miles. -2- Systematically check your vehicle for all fluids, moving parts, lights & brakes. -3- During your test drive take it to "Discount Tires" & ask for manufacture dates & inspection for needed repairs/replacements etc. Get it in writing & pay by credit card to protect yourself. -4- Have a third party mechanic at least 1 mile away inspect your vehicle. Get a report in writing & pay by credit card to protect yourself. -5- Before buying any vehicle fill it up then check for fuel leaks. -6- & if Mo or Sam promises to wash the vehicle and fails? have them take off a $100 for a detail job. He stiffed me on that one too. Additionally a 3rd party mechanic missed $6,000+ in parts & labor to fix the following. - Dry Rotted tires (which were cracked and over 5 years old) - Replace broken driver's seat. - Fix Gasoline fuel leak. - Replace Upper Idler arm & belt. - Electrical problems with the signals. - Install missing battery cover. - Replace wiper blades. - Top off transmission fluid. - Grease king pins. - Replace mud flaps. - Adjustment of lift gate. & it seems to me the mechanic at 9402 Alberene Drive in Houston named "Walle Performance" might have cooperated to sell me a truck needing lots of Refurbishing. Reach out further to make sure they don't cooperate to sell you a lemon. At the very least he was horribly irresponsible and unprofessional. P.S. My truck also needs around $2,000 in Cargo Box Repairs.
