Please don’t come here. I purchased my car 3 months ago. When I sat down to buy my vehicle with the sales person, I was told a price and signed documents with that price. I came back the next day to finalize the purchase and was told a completely different price and interest rate. I was told the vehicle had one prior accident. I reviewed the car fax and it have 4 prior accidents. I called the salesperson who sold me the car to ask if any oil changes were included in my car purchase (some dealerships offer this) he said no but If I schedule an appointment with the service dept it would be $39.99. I scheduled an appointment and was informed they start off at $69.99. I came here to get the oil change only because all of the other places were booked up. While servicing my vehicle they told me both lower ball joints needed to be replaced for $928.88 and an alignment for $214.89. Unacceptable for a car I just purchased 3 months ago… and of course none of those services would be covered by my warranty. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME HERE.

Alex was great with customer service! He was the only one checking cars in, and had two people, myself included, waiting in line. Although I waited quite a while, I patiently waited in my car while he finished helping the first customers. Meanwhile, another customer pulled behind me and hopped out of their car to stand in line. When Alex finished with the first customers, he immediately came over to help me since I had arrived first, which is how is should be. He also repeatedly apologized for the wait and thanked me for my patience. Coming from a customer service field myself, I appreciated his attitude and demeanor. Overall, I had a great experience.

We had a great experience. We were looking for a white Tahoe and found one online at Van. We used the online form to get the initial price and then talked with the sales reps over the phone before going to see the vehicle. Once we agreed on a price we set a time to finalize the paperwork. Everything was ready when we arrived so we were in and out quickly with our three daughters. Galen was great to work with over the phone and in person. He did an excellent job.

Great sales person , even though he was New Ricky was very knowledgeable about the product and was very helpful in our selection of the car. His manager Chuck was really great in the negotiation of our final deal . Even Abigail helped us to brease through the credit application .The only downfall with the Van Auto plex that i have found is that you have to wait up to 2 weeks for your loan to be funded as they do not file your loan electronically but manually and so all the paper work has to be physically sent to the bank or lending institution and prepared there and then sent back to the dealership. A slow process. You also cannot include taxes and tile in the loan process there.

I saw a pre-owned vehicle that I was interested in, so I inquired through cars.com. I got very courteous and prompt replies via e-mail and phone. The new service Van Cadillac is offering is way beyond expectations. My SRX was scheduled to be picked up and a loaner brought to my house at 9:30. At 9:28 the loaner and Van Concierge were in my driveway. Andrew, the concierge, was professional and friendly; had the paperwork ready for my signature and off he went with my vehicle. The service department called me when my vehicle was ready to be brought home, confirming this was a convenient time and, once again, Andrew brought my vehicle promptly to my home. This was so convenient and much easier than having to wait at the Service Desk, if it was busy, to get the paperwork done. Thank you, Van Cadillac, for continuing to put your customers first!

Oil Change and Replacement of bad tire.The car has a little over 8,000 miles and the right front tire got a bubble on the side. The dealer came and got our Cadillac Suv and serviced it and replaced the tire with all kindness. Gave us a car to drive and it took any extra day to get the tire but everyone that talked to us was very nice. It was delivered clean and looking great. A Thank you to Van Chevrolet and your team. Before I went to van Chevrolet I called dozens of dealers and showed up to double that!! When arrived to Van Chevy they greeted me and worked with me when others wouldn't! When other dealers found out I had a repo and bad credit they didn't even try to work with me and I was in desperate need of a vehicle! Had some "interesting" experiences at other dealerships while shopping for a used truck while trying to trade my 14 year old truck. The Van used department was very friendly and helpful. Ricky in particular, could actually answer all my questions about the 4-5 trucks we looked at. And when we looked at some a little outta my budget range he did not push the up sale. Very easy to talk to openly, and in retrospect I feel good that I bought the perfect truck for my needs and wallet. No reason to be intimidated by the buying process with this sales staff.

We found a used Honda Element online. I visited the dealership and met Sid. One of the nicest salesmen ever. They had my car for almost 2 weeks and couldn't get it totally reproduce the noise I hear at least 1 time a day when I have it. So I took my cra back and got home and shut my car off and it made the noise. Stopped for a few days and now it's back so next week my car is going back until late it's fixed.

Siel provided exceptional service. We came in knowing what we wanted and he did whatever he could to make the buying process as comfortable and smooth as it could get and did a very thorough job displaying the car prior to the test drive opening every compartment and explaining all of the features answering most of our questions without them being asked. During the test drive he allowed whatever time we felt necessary in it and rode along being very personable and created a good rapport without overly pushing the sell. Overall it was a great experience other than the expected long wait that it takes to get these deals done. I would recommend this dealer to a friend and I would recommend Siel specifically. It was a pleasure working with him and Mr. Eckers.

Recently leased a 2016 Cadillac SRX. The process from the beginning was professional and cordial. My husband and I were impressed with our sales-person, Jeff, and the manager, Tony. This is for service. I went in to Service and told them I needed my key fob batteries replaced. I had this done once before there. I was immediately escorted to the Parts department and told they would take care of it. They didn't have any.. They ordered them for me and told me to come in on Tuesday. I did and they weren't there. They said to come back the next day, but since I wasn't coming from across the street, and had lost some confidence in their professionalism, I decided to wait until Friday so I didn't make another wasted trip. When I got there only one had come in (so at least one wasted trip). Assuming the reason service escorted me to parts was so that the guy behind the counter could install the battery I asked if he would replace the battery. He said " sure, but I've never done it before". So I asked if service could do it. He said I'll call them. Whoever he called from service said "Tell the customer that they will have to do it because they break too often." When I challenged that the reason they break so often might be because they have the inexperienced customer replacing the battery, they said that is why they had them do it. I said 'Thanks for nothing and I'll never come back here again".

Stacey Thomas worked with me to get me into a vehicle and he treated me like a person, rather than a dollar sign. He was polite, personable and professional. I did not feel like I was dealing with a typical used car salesman, or that I was being fed a bunch of words and ideas that I needed to hear in order to make money for the dealership. Due to bad experiences in the past, I went in very pessimistic and a little intimidated by car salesmen but he explained everything with patience. In the end, everything turned out just as he said it would and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I purchased a used car from Van Chevrolet on 12/17/2015. It was a Ford Mustang GT with only 8k miles on it. After a nice test drive, we began discussing trade and warranty information. Though my car had very low mileage and was in great shape, the factory warranty had expired due to the time since the original purchase. The salesperson, nicknamed "Tall", for the used cars department was phenomenal. Of course the dreaded visit to the finance office seems scary, Jonathan Ekers was very pleasant and helpful. He got me a great rate, great trade-in (yes, that is possible) and an awesome deal on an extended warranty.

I had the pleasure of working with Jacob Messer on the purchase of my first Chevy product. I have been a long-time loyal Ford customer but my Equinox proved to be the best fit at this time. Jacob made the whole process as seamless as possible. My only suggestion for improvement would be to look for ways to speed up the entire process. We were there for around 3 hours and that was with a lot of prep work on my end so I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting. I think the additional warranty that is offered is a great feature of these cars and is really making the Chevy brand appeal to me that much more. Another plus, is that I was missing the front license plate holder for my new Equinox. Jacob told me he would get me one ordered and take care of getting it installed for me but it would take a few days. I got a call the next day and he had one for me ready to install already. I was very impressed with his attention to customer service. This seems to lack in so many establishments these days. He was an absolute pleasure to visit with through the entire process and I would highly recommend him and Vans to others. I do believe that barring any major issues with this car, they may have turned this gal into a loyal Chevy customer, and especially a loyal Vans customer.

just a heads up for people; make sure you get all your paperwork before you leave. Bought a used car that was supposed to be GM certified; it wasn't, I wasn't given any paperwork they would mail it to me. Since this was second vehicle I bought from Van I trusted I would get it and that I would be taken care of. When I took it in two weeks later not only was not gm certified their service department had no record of servicing it or certifying it. Make sure you get something like this before you leave the lot because you may never get or have legal proof that it has the GM certified warranty. My last gm vehicle had a GM certified checklist. I never gotThat on this vehicle. They haven't made it right and have intention on making it right. Let me be clear they promised that everything had been done and that it was what they said it was. I should have gotten everything before I left May my mistake help you with your decision.

I actually went thru the State Attorney General's office with specific complaints. We had a pre-approved interest rate with our Credit Union, but it didn't happen with the initial sales. We initially refused the extended warranty, only to be told we would get a better interest rate if we took it (which was said in an office that we were advised the transaction was video and audio taped). We added the sales tax to the loan, which Kansas Dept of Revenue allows, however the sales manager did not write up the contract indicating that detail. My local Dept of Revenue had me go back to the sales manager to ask him to break down the vehicle cost specificially so we would not have to pay sales tax on THAT part of the loan, but the sales manager refused to do so, and we ended up paying sales tax on approximately $2000 we wouldn't have otherwise. The window sticker (and our opinion - the salesman), gave us the impression there were options that were supposedly on the vehicle, which we later discovered were not on the vehicle. We were not given all the paperwork regarding the extended warranty, and I subsequently had to return to the dealership to get all the pages, that had instructions on how to cancel it, which I summarily did, waiting approximately 3 months for it to be credited off the loan. We had to refinance thru out credit with the much lower interest rate we had prearranged with our credit union before the actual sale happened, with the credit union affirming we were not given correct information by the sales manager. Although Van Chevrolet did cooperate in communicating with the Missouri Attorney General's office, it took nearly a year for a resolution. Ultimately the Attorney General's office arranged a settlement and we got $150. In my opinion, not nearly enough for what we went through. I will never do business with Van Chevrolet or any of their affiliated dealerships again.

I have been a customer of Van Chevy many times over the years. It is located a few blocks from my home, so even though the service has usually been poor to substandard, I'd gone back. But I will never go back. Scheduled today's appointment two weeks in advance and they weren't even going to be able to get to my car today. I had a service air bag light and a heating/cooling fan damper problem. They suggested I leave it and RENT A CAR!!!! They hadn't even run diagnostics by 1:30, I left it at 8:15 am. When I went to pick up my car no one came to talk to me about my dissatisfaction. In fact, they all acted like I had the plague. I wasn't irate or rude or yelling. I told them I was dissatisfied and would never come back. And my goal is to share that message with as many people as I can.

Bought a $10k used car and have had nothing but issues with it. They give you a 3 month, 3k miles warranty which we have used. Today though, we were told it would be $1350.00 for this latest repair, and they wouldn't warranty it. We have only put 2700. miles on this car and its been broken 4 times. We traded in a car with 300k miles that did not have any of these issues. A good dealership would warranty this issue seeing how we have had nothing but issues since literally the day after we drove it home.

Van Chevrolet-Cadillac, AKA: Van Autoplex of Kansas City. My wife purchased a vehicle there and was subjected to their "SPOT DELIVERY SCAM"She was later scammed again in financing by Adam Fanning. He insisted that she purchase a service contract (6 mos./6000) even though the vehicle came with one (3mos./3000). She DECLINED all Service, Gap Coverage, Life Ins. etc. Adam however, felt it necessary to deceptively and unscrupulously add it into her contract!The Dealership refuses to honor their "We Owe" list and a host of other problems.After ignoring and dismissing her for days ,Van Auto-Plex finally returned a simple call.Blake E. Fanning- General Manager, was unprofessional, disrespectful, and conniving when speaking. He was angry that we caught his son's deception. He had the gall to call US xxxxxxxx for wanting the situation rectified. We continue to be told lie after lie.BUY A CAR ELSEWHERE THIS PLACE WILL STEAL FROM IT'S CUSTOMERS IF GIVEN A CHANCE!!!!

I just purchased my first vehicle from Van Chevrolet Cadillac, with Vince Santoro as my salesperson. What a professional Mr. Santoro is; what a beautiful dealership -- with a wide inventory and lots to choose from. Mr. Santoro knew his inventory well, and he knew what I was interested in. Mr. Santoro had several vehicles ready for me to test drive that met my criteria, and he made sure that every minute was well-spent. It is evident that Mr. Santoro enjoys dealing with people, because he is full of energy and always smiling -- so pleasant to be around. I must say that I was a bit nervous while test driving, but Mr. Santoro had a test-drive path planned that didn't go into areas I was unfamiliar with, but that would allow my husband and me to see all of the vehicles' available features, for example, he made sure we drove on the highway as well as on residential streets, with good pavement and poor pavement. This made sure that I got exactly the features I wanted in terms of safety and performance. It was not only informative, it was fun! And what a delight to be matched up with the perfect vehicle for me. I cannot wait to do business again with Vince Santoro and Van Chevrolet Cadillac. Most dealers use a nice large room meant to make you want their new car, not this place. We walked in and had to find someone in a tiny building that was dirty. It had all the character of an unmaintained dive bar. It was the dirtiest major dealer I have ever been in. We wanted to see one car and "the other people" had the keys. Except it was sold and they left it on their website. They need to spend some of their money on caring.

I bought a 2012 Sonic from another dealership and purchased a 2 year warranty with it. After 2 months the check engine light came on and being under warranty I took it to the closest Chevy dealership to my house. I went on-line and scheduled an appt for 1:30 on a weekday to have the car checked out and have an oil change, when I took it in I had to stand around for at least 10 minutes before anyone noticed that I was even there. When I finally was acknowledged I was asked if I was going to drop the car off and I proceeded to tell them that I just wanted an oil change and a diagnostic, which should be 30 minutes tops. They told me it was a little late in the day, mind you it is 1:30 in the afternoon, and they still had 3 vehicles in front of me. I of course left disgusted and took it to my mechanic to have it diagnosed. Within 10 minutes the mechanic that looked at my car, who just happened to have come from Van Chevrolet and left because of the poor management in the service department, told me that I had a warped valve cover and to take it to a Chevy dealership to have it replaced because it is covered under the Chevrolet 100,000 mile warranty. So I took it back and again after 10 min of again being mistaken for a house plant I was asked if I needed help. I told them the situation and they told me they would look at it and if there was something wrong and I wanted to have fixed somewhere else it would a 99.95 charge (a little steep if you ask me). I reluctantly agree and we will see how it turns out, but I am not holding my breath.

I will recommend this dealership to anyone that feels that their mechanics are not above and beyond what you'd expect from " qualified mechanics " I went in for alignment today and although I wasn't able to have it done due to worn parts. The mechanics noted everything that I already suspected needed to be replaced and noted nothing that had already been replaced by me. I was charged the full price at the time of the service and after speaking to Blake Fanning GM and Steve the service manager they offer to let me fix my issues within a 30 day period which I feel is sufficient enough time to do the needed repairs and I will not charge me again for the alignment. Thank you Steve and Blake. I also want to mention I was sitting in the dealership waiting room and a shuttle driver for the dealership asked me if I needed a ride anywhere. I didn't need the service, but it sure is nice to know that I'm not stranded waiting on my vehicle to get repaired. Highly recommend Van Chevrolet on Vivion Rd. and if you have a issue they will go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy.

My granddaughter was right there with me and she even said wow I am going to think about leasing from now on. I just received a bill from the finance company saying I owe $920.00 dollars. I am so upset about this. They will say and do any thing to make a sell. The reason I leased was cause of no taxes or personal property tax

Wow I just got screwed out of a 100.00 for absolutely nothing. I had a 1030 appointment and showed up 30 min early. I advise them what I'm therr for getting ready to drive to florida and need it all checked out plus some other concerns. At 2:30 I get a call saying they are running behind and they wont be able to look at my vehicle. I said wow unbelievable I'll come get it. 10 min later voicemail mysteriously the tech just pulled it in and they will get right on it. 4:11 I gry called back to be told you need a new motor mount and they will need it longer to check the differential. So out of a list of 8 things nothing was don't exceot diagnos a motor mount. Then I'm told well you can reschedule it for the other stuff when you get back.. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!! Absolutely not will I darken your door step. Then they had the Gauld to charge me $99.00 for that crap. I'm still speechless by this. I go to pick it up and the service guy wouldn't even come around lol. Walked past me twice never acknowledged me. Screw me once my bad NEVER AGAIN! To those that want to use thrn for service DO NOT DO IT.... Hendricks from now on

Second time in a row with poor service. Only reason I returned was for Malibu recall. Whether it was fixed correctly or not, I can't say. However a panel was not replaced correctly and has fallen off. Van definitely does not have the quality of service as was always demonstrated when it was Courtesy Chevrolet.

The service to my vehicle was perfect, picking up my vehicle was not so good. While I was paying the cashier the 2 servicemen helping me left and no one went to get my vehicle and it took a while for me to get help and have my vehicle brought up so I could leave.

I found a newly listed truck on their site and contacted them immediately due to model, year and price (remember price). Set up an appointment to meet them and thought all was good. The truck was new to them so it wasn't ran through detail yet which was perfectly fine. The salesman and I had a good time talking about the truck and we discussed any discounts and things they would fix, thought all was good at this point. We went back to his office, talked over some things and I requested the final price. He came back with the price I found from their website. I looked at the itemized list and the price was much higher than on the site and after discounts we discussed it ended up to be the price listed on the site. I informed the salesman of this, he talked to his manager and they would honor the price on the site but no additional discounts. I drove 40 minutes to this dealership and was told it would be waiting for me by the time we got there. Not exactly, we walked through the main building, then the service and detail departments, out the back door and into the lot not too many people will ever see. I really didn't have a problem with this but originally thought it was interesting it wasn't ready but I was originally in a good mood. In the end, when I was informed it was the price on the site even after discussing the additional discounts I got up and quietly walked away. By the way, one of the discounts was for military. Apparently they can tell you that they do give a military discount and even how much they will give, but then take it right back and give none.

I traveled from New Orleans to KC to get the Vette that I wanted that Vans happened to have in stock. I basically bought the car over the phone on a Suturday. My salesman Mike picked me up when I arrived in KC at 7:30 am on Monday and I was on the road home before 11. They were also able to beat the 2.49% interest rate I had arranged with my credit union. Other than trying too hard at trying to sell me the extended warrenty, it was a very plesant experience dealing with Vans.

Loved being able to set up appointment on-line. Service rep was friendly, informative, and courteous. I had about a two hour wait before he told me the diagnosis; fortunately, I had brought work to do. The waiting area was pleasant with tables and comfortable sofas. They had the necessary part in stock so the work was finished up quickly. Fortunately, I had a coupon that reduced the final bill.

I had a 2pm appointment for a state inspection. I got here at 1:40pm, it is now 4:06pm and they still haven't completed the inspection! I talked to the manager and he assured me it would be done shortly. That was 20 minutes ago. They haven't apologized or told me why they couldn't do the inspection at my appointment time. This place has been a joke to deal with. If you need a service that isn't going to pay them you can expect to wait hours even if you have an appointment. I will never bring another vehicle back here for anything!!!!! And I wouldn't recommend them to anyone either!

I knew which car I wanted and did a dealership search online. Van's had my car and they emailed and called to schedule a visit. I walked in knowing the car I wanted and price I wanted to pay. They found my car (even the right color) and beat my budget by $2,000 -including the extended warranty, which they adjusted to meet my needs.The staff were friendly and social; I had my salesman and finance specialist, but I also the sales manager and person I spoke with over the phone introduced themselves. It felt more like meeting new friends than a business transaction. I am one satisfied customer-Thank you!

I could write a book if there was space. Went in to have a noise checked and repaired. Van thought they had found some additional critical work that needed to be repaired and agreed to add that. When I went to pick it up, they had added over five service items not discussed or previously authorized. Only one recommendation, drive the extra miles to find another dealer/service center.

This dealership gives GM a bad name. I took my Cadillac Escalade to VAN Cadillac at 100 NW Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64118 in mid-November 2013 for engine light "ON". Later the service adviser: Malek Yousef informed me that diagnostic computer indicated that cylinder #7 has misfire. Additionally, to root-cause the problem the technician swapped the #7 spark plug and fuel injector with one that is known to be working. To do that I think he used # 5 because it's right next to # 7 The repair was completed after one week, and shortly after receiving the car back from the service it was smelling like raw fuel coming from the engine compartment and inside the passenger cabin. I returned the vehicle back to dealer service and they diagnosed the issue to be a leaking fuel injector #5 and charged me again for replacing the O ring. I objected to the charges contending that the service technician must have damaged the O ring when he swapped it with #7 just 3 weeks earlier. The Service manager named Steve took offence of my conclusion and refused to even clean the car before releasing the vehicle on 12/12/2013. This dealership should stop selling GM products. If was not a GM fan I would have considered leaving the brand all-together. However, the dealership lost me as customer forever.

Awful and fraudulent dealership. Kim Kloth, the general management and particularly the sleazy service manager are worthless human beings. These people are unethical and provide ZERO customer service after the sale. Complaints have been filed with BBB of Kansas City, Cadillac, and the Attorney General of Missouri. This dealership engages in tactics to sell cars and extended service plans which are deceptive, completely dishonest and easily the worst in the business. I spent over $80,000 on a Cadillac and have received some of the most disrespectful interactions from everyone at this dealership, particularly Kim Kloth. This place is run like a Kia dealership, not a "Cadillac" dealership. Save yourself the hassle- shop anywhere else and avoid these immoral xxxx.

I took my cadillac in on 7/26/13 for overheating issues they came back with an inpection sheet that said my cooling system passed their inpection but yet I still needed to replace a crossover exchange gasket that would cost $1303.00 so I paid it and three days after getting it back my info center told me to check coolance level. So I called my advisor back and he told me to just fill it up, so I did. I continued to do this for a month, every week putting in a gallon of coolant. I called him back on 8/28/13 he said to bring it back in and they would not charge me for another inspection but they would get to the botton of it. I dropped my car off at 9 a.m. and by 11 a.m. they called saying I needed a $7900.00 motor or $4500.00 head gasket job. I asked for the inspection sheet so my advisor sent over without any questions, when I recieved I noticed that nothing was filled out so I called back and asked what the deal was and they said they would be happy to take off the $1303.00 that I already spent and I stated I feel like you should have asked my to come back when I called the first time so whatever happened to my car happened in your shop because none of these problems where there when I dropped off a month ago and I think you should honor your word and fix my car. MY advisor put me in contact with Steve the Service Manager and I asked him how they came to the conclusion and he didnt know but then put me in contact with his used car dept. So I called the GM Blake Flanning and he never called me back so I called my Attorney and he did not get an answer.

Worst Customer Service in Kansas City. I paid $45 for an oil change and the car wasn't even washed or vacuumed out. A Factory Warranty repair took a week, some items weren't even fixed as they said they would be, and grimy finger and hand-prints were left all over the outside of the car and there were scratches on the hood from something clearly being dragged across it. I was stuck in a smaller loaner vehicle for the entire week that was FILTHY on the inside, had bugs all over the outside and also had no gas. Shame on me for returning to Van Chevrolet for my service needs. I'm also DISGUSTED with the lack of accountability Van Chevrolet has for their service.

I purchased a used 2010 CTS end of February. The night I looked at the car it was dark and the weather was bad I could not see the car well. It also had a very strong cleaning smell so I could not tell if it had been smoked in. I asked if it was a smokers car and was told there is no way to tell but you can usually see burn marks. I was pressured to buy that night even after I indicated I wanted to come back the next day when I could see the car better. After purchase when I could see the car clearly, I did uncover burn marks in the carpet and headliner. 3 days after purchase I tried to return the car and was told by the general manager Blake Fanning that they would make this right for me. They have treated the car twice and after each treatment, the smoke smell comes back. Now, Blake Fanning, will not return my phone calls. Beware, this dealer is only after a quick sale and not at all into consumer service.

I just had the worst experience in attempting to buy a car at Van Chevorlet. I went there on Saturday I told them my financial situation and they were like we can get you in a new car even if you have bad credit. We decided on a Cruze and when we went to financing, they said they sure my loan would be approved - I just needed to send in my income information, etc. They let me drive it home on Saturday. I get a call today and they told me I would need a co-signer for the loan to be approved. There's no one I can ask to co-sign. So I had to take the car back and get my old one back. They should have never let me have the car - I didn't want to take it, but they insisted. Also this morning I spent $40 to fill up the car and they didn't want to reimburse me, They wanted to fill up my car, I said no it won't cost $40 to fill up my car. They don't have access to cash, so they have to send me a check. I'm telling everyone I know to not ever buy car here.

Drove all the way from Johnson county Kansas to see a new car I viewed online.When I got there none of the info I had provided online and over phone to Internet sales was passed on.After getting set up with a two nice sales men we test dove the 2012 camero and they sent my trade for offer.After test drive we started what I like to call the car buying game. The came back with a low offer on the trade in and sticker on the new car.Told them we where way off and told them they needed to find $5k more. They went back to work and at that time the sales manager came back and this is where the experience went down hill.He started with what if we came up this much. In which I declined and went back to my number.After explaining what I was wanting to do and how much I want to finance. That is when like most dealers they try to make your payment smaller by stretching payments to make it seem cheaper.Then went to the " where do your payments need to be at".I said its not about payments it's about the dollars amount that I want to finance after trade. I filled out the credit check and if credit went threw I was ready. but after telling him how much I make he seemed less interested. Not knowing how much income I may have from inheritance or ect. He then said what if I can get this number which was not my number. He left came back and said if I can get your number will you buy today and said sign here.After signing I noticed he put his offer not my number and when questioned he had a fit and rolled his eyes got loud and threw the offer paper on floor and stomped off. If not for his attitude I would have meet them in the middle. If you wanted the used car mom and pop store dealer experience then this is the place. Great sales staff but sales manger can't seal the deal.

I came in for a gas cap for my 1996 Chevy Cavalier when Mike spotted my car saying, "I haven't seen one of those in years." That was the start of something unexpected. I had planned to look at the Subaru section since I did not have a very good sales rep the last time I was in, but Mike changed all of that. He was friendly we swapped stories and in doing this he learned what kind of car I not only liked but needed. With just the first page he showed me a car I had already found interest in but was not expecting to own since they quit making it. This is when I found out they had a few on the lot and even in a color I didn't mind at all. After a test drive I just fell in love with the car more. He was never once pushy trying to force the car I had told him I was simply here to look after getting my gas cap. However, he asked "If I came up with a good deal could I get your business today?" Well I had to say yes that's how the talks continued. So once the test drive was over we got down to business I didn't expect to walk out with the car today money being tight and all, but he found away I could afford it. He was very courteous and made sure I was taken care of. He even saw me off the lot when I drove my car home. It was just a wonderful experience and he was the key to that and it all started because I needed a gas cap and he hadn't seen my original car in years. It was an unexpected but lovely surprise.The service center, sadly I cannot remember the woman's name, was nice as well. The lady was able to take a moment from the customer she was working with as they found the part he needed, and able to find my part quickly she was very pleasant too.

I was recently visiting Kansas City Missouri just before the Christmas holidays in 2012. My wife and I had been traveling and we were on our return trip back to the west coast. During our visit, I had been noticing a particular model of Cadillac that caught my attention. The vehicle we owned was a 2011, but not a caddy. From their previous experience, one of my family member recommended we visit the Van dealership and check their Cadillac models out. From the time we arrived, we were greeted by Rich and the entire experience went smooth and flawless. I knew what model and color of vehicle I had in mind to look at and that is what he showed me. He knew exactly where the vehicle was located and showed me exactly what I described. I was pleasantly shocked, from my previous experiences every car sale was strictly about the money. They were unpleasant experiences. What was a good match for the buyer and their wants and concerns were unimportant and was a hindrance towards them getting paid; this was definitely not the case at Van. There were no pressure sales or up selling, no showing me the colors I did not want. They were always courteous, friendly and went thru the transactions as if they were the one buying the car and this is how they wanted to be treated.I had not planned on buying a new car while on the road traveling and just before the Christmas holidays, but I am very glad I did. I have a renewed outlook on the car buying experience and when it is time to purchase again, I'll make the trip back to this dealership.It is a shame we had to travel over 1500 miles to find a dealership that keeps customer service first by treating its customers like family.I hope other dealerships get this message and follow Van's example of outstanding customer service.SincerelyMike Jackson

Between my wife & myself we have been doing business with Van for 12 years + with 4 vehicles and until now we had never had such an awful experience with just getting our vehicles serviced under warranty. They advertise setting appointments online but its a lie. When actually you get there, if you happen to catch someones attention, you will be told 1. We probably won't get to it today and 2. Did you call to schedule because we are too busy for walk ins. The service department is ridiculous and someone needs to be fired. They never have parts and they clearly don't care about the customer because when you call you rarely talk to anyone in the service department, you leave voicemail they don't call back. I was actually told, "If you don't hear from us, just assume nothing has changed..." Does that sound like customer service??? Or an even worse example "If I actually called you to say nothing has changed, it's the same as not calling you and you assuming that nothing has changed. " Come on now... Their sales team is awesome in contrast. Bottom line: Great Offense, Horrible Defense... you can buy a car there but find another service shop or you will wish you had

Went in for an oil change today sice I received a coupon for 14.95. Once I got therei found out that in he small print I had to purchase a oil additive forn12.95. I had them replace the headlight that I provided. When I got the bill I had to pay an extra 12.00 for supplies and 57.00 to put in the headlight. Overall it cost me a 100.00. Knowing what I know now I will change the headlights myself and get my oil chanes where they don't hideaway bunch of misc charges.

WORST Dealership experience I have ever encountered! I have never dealt with a business, let alone a dealership that was this unorganized. And when I get a hold of the head of customer service to express my frustration he (realizing that he didn't have a vehicle on the lot equivalent to what was supposed to be held for us available and had no opportunity to turn the experience around) started to personally attack me. WTF?? With that I will reiterate my point, this dealership is the absolute bottom of the totem pole, they are equivalent to sewage to me after they handled us the way they did. They gave me nothing but excuses on how there computer system works and why a car that I had called that morning to check the availability on and set an appointment with a salesman with before my wife drove over an hour to look at it had actually been sold 2 days prior! They told me at 7:35 it was available (at this point I set an appointment for my wife to meet with a salesman), my wife gets there at 10 and she was told it sold at 8:30. In reality, it was sold 2 days earlier and kept on hold until the customer gave them the money 2 days later at 8:30. Meanwhile, we got passed around like a hot potato, 4 salesman were involved and they kept passing us off to somebody else. My wife and mother in law ended up walking out of the dealership after sitting there for 45 minutes without anybody being able to confirm that the car was or was not available. In the end I stand by what I told the head of customer service, I will pass on this terrible experience to everybody that ever ask me about a dealership and during every opportunity for it to come up in conversation. The head of customer service was correct to end the call when he did, because there isn't anything they can offer to make this a pleasant experience. As soon as he realized it was a lost cause, the personal attacks on me began.

The dealership was very positive about helping me get the car I wanted. Matt Prohaska was as endearing a personality as you could ask for. Any question he either answered or found someone who could answer. Van Chevrolet went extra distance to make sure my experience buying a car from them was first rate. I left the dealership satisfied with my deal and even though the idea of a car payment makes me shudder, the car and the dealership makes it a very positive experience.

I have been looking for a car for about six months. I was not in any hurry and was taking my time to figure out what I wanted. My first contact was with Joseph. He did a great job explaining the car and having me test drive it. He later turned me over to Jack who went through all the features in great detail. Joe worked with me on the pricing and made the sale happen! I went back to the dealership the next day and Anthony went through additional features on the car and helped me set up and sync my telephone. Everyone has been extremely nice and made me feel comfortable through the entire car buying experience...which I have to admit, is something I normally do not like. Thank you to everyone! My experence was assume, for the record I was not going to purchase a new car I had my car in for service a month or two before and I was approach by Nick, he ask me a few key question which led me back to meet with him a month later. It was my plesure doing business with this young man he has a great future a head of him. My over all experience on a scale of 1-10 was a 11 it was off the charts. Nick Cummins was great to work with. We wanted a car for me, so my husband told him to talk to me. From then on, I was his main concern. He brought out as many cars as I wanted to test drive & made sure that I was completely satisfied. He made sure that everything that had been promised happened to our satisfaction. When he found out I was I was in the service area for the first time he came & sat with me the whole time. And when it was determined that a mistake had been made & the wheel for the spare tire that was ordered was incorrect, he insisted on delivering it himself when the correct part came in. THAT is what I call service!!!

Last week we told Tim that we wanted to trade in our 2004 Silverado diesel pickup for a small pickup to pull behind our motorhome. Tim had our Silverado inspected and began looking for a small pickup for us. He called us saying that he found one, and were we sure that was what we wanted. We told him to order it for us. On Thursday we drove our Silverado in to the dealorship and looked at the small white 2010 Colorado stick shift pickup that he had ready for us. My husband test drove the Colorado and was very pleased. The financial deal was an even trade, which pleased us. Kevin Henry typed up our title and the contract for us. He reminded us of the warranty options for us that he had explained in detail when we purchased our 2010 Malibu a couple of months ago. He was very effecient and pleasant. We were very pleased that, Tim Barney, our salesman had done his best in getting for us the vehicle and deal that was just right for us.

Heartland Chevy told me that a noise in my car was because of my driving and that they didnt see any issues with it. After 3 times trying to get it fixed I went to Van and they fixed the issue and it was a body weld on my sunroof and it was making a loud scratching sound. They fixed it and now I will NEVER go to HEARTLAND EVER again.

First off, when Chevrolet announced the return of the Camaro for 2010 and I saw the body style, I liked it right off then I researched the car through Chevrolet's web site looked at all the features and standard equipment along with the optional equipment, I new then I loved it and knew I wanted one for myself, so when I knew I was gonna be in a position to buy one, I checked with 2 other Chevy dealers in the area they didn't have many to look at and didn't have the color I wanted that's when I went to Van Chevrolet Cadillac, when I pulled in and saw that they had 6 Camaro's right out front in several models and colors, including the model and color I was looking for, right off I knew I was at the right place, I was greeted promptly by Tim Barney he introduced himself with a hand shake and a smile, asked if he could help me, I told him what I was looking for, he asked specific questions as to what features I was looking for, I told him I wanted the LT 2 with the RS package, he said I'm sure we have what you want, we walked over to the Camaro's, of course I walked up to the one with the color I wanted (red) and I was surprised, it was the model I wanted as well, he pointed out the RS specific features and equipment, he asked if I wanted to take it for a test drive, he didn't have to ask twice, YES !!! the handling and performance was all right there, I knew I wanted that car, although it was a little more then 2 months before I was actually ready to buy it, I knew that I would still be going back to Van for my Camaro, I called Tim and he still remembered me and we scheduled a time for the next day for me to go in and make the deal, the fact that that same 2010 red RS was still there told me it was meant to be mine, I got what I think was a great price and I even opted for a couple of extended protection plans that were available and in no time I was driving off the lot in my new 2010 Chevy Camaro RS, everyone from Tim Barney to Justin the sale's manager and Keven the finance manager were very friendly, very professional and had a wealth of knowledge and understanding both for what I wanted and about the Camaro RS, the negotiation of price and the various extend plans that were available right down to the papers that were needed to finalize the sale, in closing I feel I got a great deal on the exact Camaro RS I wanted.

In March 2010 I purchased a new Subaru Outback but kept my 1997 Subaru Outback for my wife to use when transporting her Mother. Access was easier. Last month when it shot craps and I needed a inexpensive replacement, I asked Mongo for his help. I had been extreemly satisfied with his help in the purchase of the new Outback.He immediately came up with 3 vehicles for my wife to look at. She fell in love with his #1 recommendation, a 2005 VW Jetta, which we purchased.Mongo, Fred and the rest of the staff at Van Subaru have acted more like family assisting me to find the best solution to my problem rather that an auto dealership trying to rapidly move cars and make money. There are many places to buy an automobile, but very few that take the time and expend the effort to assist the buyer in finding the best purchase for his needs and budget.Because of this, future purchases will be from Van Subaru, assuming they have or can find what I need. Additionally, I will be recommending them any chance I get!!

I called in and had to miss my first two appointments with the service department due to family issues and other things, however, Jeff stuck right in there with me and made a third appointment got me right in there when I pulled up there, and he took it away right away. I had other business that was VERY important to attend to that day so they set me up in a cubicle with a telephone and allowed me to make my phone call, they gave me privacy and I was able to get the truck worked on AND get my other business done at the same time. I loved it. I will NEVER take my vehicles to any other dealership and will also be looking for my next vehicle through VAN Chevrolet !!!!!!Thank you for giving me the opportunity to voice my opinion about my dealing with the dealership, plenty of people will call in and complain when they aren't happy over the most minor thing, however, I always try to let management know when I've been done right. Brent is the only salesman I've worked with that has actually cared about his customers. He states "My work doesn't start until after the deal" and he is right.Since I purchased my car in April he followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied with the car and the deal, as well as promised to always be available to help when needed. So far he has followed through with every promise and has helped me with after sale items such as extended warranty issues/questions, an owner's manual that belongs with the vehicle I purchased and wanted to make sure I was taken care during a recent visit to the service department. Most importantly, he returns my calls when I leave a message. Nothing says "I truly care" like doing the little things, such as simply returning a phone call. I hope his work ethic serves as an example and is recognized by the management.
