Came in to get my Hyundai recall Service and noticed the location has easy Access distance from the freeway as well good and respectful employees also, notice good diversity amount of employees, The only minus downward point is that, this facility it's outdated in needs a renovation the floors by customers service entrance, The walls inside as well the outside paint it looks faded out Honestly it gave me an uncomfortable feeling of, I wonder what kind of service Will it get done to my Hyundai vehicle? But nevertheless my vehicle service was done promptly within three hours For the professional and good customer Treatment I recommend this location To friends and family as well the public.

Great service at this location 👏🏾 I was professionally approached by 3 people and everyone seemed like they truly wanted to help. I was there for a service but looked at cars for my wife with the level of comfort conveyed. Great atmosphere, will be my main spot to look at vehicles and large selection surprised me. Our experience with this dealership has been nothing but trouble and absolutely poor. Our salesman "Josh" rushed us through a selling process assuring us that some significant options were included in the bottom line price. Then, we waited, waited, and waited some more in the dealership (close to 4.5 hours) until taken into an old office with "Mike" who had us signing paperwork. Extremely rude, arrogant and unprofessional, he handed us our packet and we were finally out the door. After being exhausted from sitting in the showroom I must say myself, wife and daughter were not on our game or we would've reviewed things closely. After looking at paperwork at home, we were NEVER given a signed purchase agreement with all costs itemized. Our daughter returned to the dealership where she was given excuses about the lack of proper documents....the invoice blew us away. Never did we agree to any options which were on the document. Aside from "hidden" costs they had purchasing information mixed up with myself as the purchaser, not the co-buyer as we originally agreed to. The icing on the cake was that the agreement was not signed by us or our daughter. The deceit and misinformation from this entire sales team and financing is criminal. We live out of state and were visiting our daughter when all of this occurred. Unfortunately she was left to visit them alone. After showing us the alleged purchase agreement we called, called, called and called. Each time we were handed down the line and told to deal with Chris Ortiz, (sales manager) Mike (finance) and Darius (another sales director). I left specific instructions for them to call me directly which they ignored. Instead, they called our daughter and played dumb with her. She instructed same...to call us. We live in Pennsylvania in a beautiful and growing area where people and businesses have integrity, professionalism, and qualified personnel. Is this how Texas operates? Needless to say, our daughter will NOT be taking her new vehicle to that dealership for any service. There must be another Hyundai dealership in the area that share the same values as us. I skimmed over other reviews and notice a similar pattern when a low rating is given which indicates this is the culture and business model of Van Hyundai. We will also be contacting Hyundai corporate to share our experience.

If you have the opportunity ask for Michael Abelino, he doesn't fit the stereotype of a typical car salesman. They are a little difficult to get to with the road construction on 35, but its worth it. Looking forward to my service visit. -Scott

First off don't expect loaners even when the part is on back order for days and have to contact a regional manager to finally get a car and stop having coworkers drive you to and from work for a wheel speed sensor being ripped out when making a u-turn. Took it in for service in July for Full Syn. Oil change and rotation. Tires weren't rotated as well as delivered after promised time. Car fax states only was washed and detailed at service................... Will be exploring other dealers in the metro-plex despite living a block away from here

I like many do not have stellar credit but I have to tell you this was the easiest transaction ever made. Michael our sales rep. Was Completely amazing we literally spent only a few hours here. One in the morning discussing what I wanted, wanted to pay , credit , money down if any and several options. We left our trade in for appraisal and several hours later. Came back, completed the test drive and now I am waiting for my finance packet. What an awesome experience. I got everything I wanted and am leaving a happy customer with the brand new vehicle I wanted. When reading reviews please take the time to form your own opinions. One never really knows what the other side of the story is on the negative reviews. Super glad I based my visit on my own opinion and experience.

From our Salesperson, and I use that term loosely, to the Senior Internet Manager and then his Manager, the only thing these folks are concerned with is themselves, not the customer...feeling angry, disrespected and extremely disappointed. We didn't get everything we needed at the time, and above all, had to take the car back to fix recall items that should have been corrected before we ever received the car. The experience has been in short, a disaster.

I bought a Hyundai Genesis R-Spec sedan in 2012. That experience was actually quite good however at what cost? The service at Van Hyundai is some of the worst I have ever experienced. They have trouble communicating and they just simply have trouble doing their job correctly. Every service consultant or whatever they call them has been very bad. The worst experience was recently when I needed work done on my car. They had to order the part and I understood it would take a little time. I set an appt for Saturday morning. I told the guy I was working with to call me if the part was not going to be in on time. However, when I came in I sat down and the first thing he does is check for the part. Of course it is not in. At that point I wasted my Saturday morning coming in when a simple phone call the day before could have saved me a lot of frustration.Additionally, I have asked repeatedly to be on their do not contact list when it comes to sales. However, repeatedly I get called. I am in the market for a new car but will never ever consider a Genesis again (the car is great but the money you save is more than made up for in the headaches you incur dealing with Van). I have already talked two friends out of going to Van and will continue to do so.

I went in trying to get a car that I saw on the Van Hyundai homepage. Sadly it wasn't available to me anymore but Stevie showed me the same car, both new and used. Though I went in expecting to buy the one on the homepage with that said price. Thanks to Stevie and Fayez I left with the same car I wanted but it was brand new and with added features the car on the website didn't have. I have purchased several vehicles in my adult life and this was the worst experience I ever had. My salesman was a rookie which I understood, but that is no excuse for the amount of time( 2 days) it took to purchase my vehicle. And after we got the vehicle it did not have the specifications I wanted. My salesman did not inform of the various options available in my particular vehicle. He also contacted me after hours the day I finished the deal and wanted more information/documents from me. Like I said, worst experience EVER. And I am a second time soon to be third time Hyundai owner.

I went to buy a Hyundai Genesis at Van Hyundai in Carrollton. I had very good experience with everyone I met there. Ken Turner was my sales person he told me all about the car. I bought a demo and it was not perfect, but they fixed everything and made everything right. I could even recommend them to a friend. Even when Ken was busy other sales people stepped up to the plate to and answered all my questions and helped me with the registering for Hyundai Blue Link. I will be coming back soon for a truck. Hopefully they can get my Nissan Frontier or a F150. My wife Erin is also looking at a Tucson but I have to get my truck first. Was able to do everything through email and phone calls. Flew into Dallas where Mr. Eddie Frazier picked me up in the vehicle I was purchasing. Drove straight to dealership where everything was in order. Had one small problem with sales tax in my home state which was fixed rather quickly. Mr. Eddie was friendly, professional and handled everything above board. I'm 50 years old and this was the easiest car purchase I've ever done. I highly recommend this dealership and Mr. Eddie Frazier in particular.

My experience with Van Hyundai was an excellent one. Not only were the salesperson and manager nice and friendly, but the finance specialist was also honest and kind. They did not try to sell me off some packages or anything but what I want. I strongly recommend this place. Only downside is that when I went there, there were constructions that made driving or parking a bit difficult. Also, it is right next to the highway, and there is a railway close to the dealership.

In our two visits, we did not feel pressured to make a decision but were given time to consider what was best for our needs and our budget. The financing process took longer than we wanted since we were waiting for a couple other customers but everything else made up for it.

I worked with Paul Hayes at Van Hyundai in October to purchase a used Hyundai Elantra. I was working with several dealerships at the time, with the goal of locating a 2014 or 2015 Elantra with low mileage. Paul called me with a couple of different options that they had available that met my criteria. I really recommend working with Paul -- he is someone who will work as a partner to find you what you're looking for. We were able to work out a deal on the car within my budget. I've had the car now for about a month and a half, and everything is working great. I overpaid slightly on TTL as part of the final price on the vehicle, but Van Hyundai just sent over my license plates and registration, and refunded me the difference between the actual title & registration fee and what I paid. I really appreciate Van Hyundai's honesty and transparency in providing me that check without me even following up with them about it. It was a really happy surprise. The service mgr is not available. Someone is always going to call me back each of the 5 times I have called. I am still waiting. My 1st and last Hyundai. Oh, it it is new car!

Seriously, Van Hyundai is why my ownership experience of my 2014 Sonata sucks. Forget about the bad location, I chose them in spite of it. I didn't expect to be nickle and dimed over something so trivial as a plug in my tire. I feel stupid giving them $49.95 to rotate the inferior tires at 5000 miles but felt pressured to do that to keep my "tire warranty". What warranty? Please avoid this dealership. btw... they have a courtesy shuttle service as long as you request it on any other day than when you need it. What a joke.

Overall, I would have to say that my purchase experience at Van Hyundai was most excellent. My sales pro, Eric Tom, was both knowledgeable and personable. From looking at the dealership online, I knew which car I was interested in and was on a test drive within minutes of my first arrival. The paperwork was handled effectively and efficiently. I also had a a couple of opportunities to chat with a few of the service advisers and am confident that when the time comes, they will make the service and/or repair process as painless as possible.

The problem with this dealer is the worst. I visited the dealership and liked a car over a weekend. We could not agree on the price at the first visit. Later I called and increased my offer. They responded that the offer is good and asked me to bring my trade in and the title. I went to the dealership assuming that we had already settled down the price and all we do is the transaction. I was wrong. Once I went there they started the negotiation from a higher price. I understand that all they wanted is to bring me there again assuming I will buy another car. I left immediately and will never deal with them. Will not recommend.

My experience at Van Hyundai can be summed up in one word: delightful. Many people dread purchasing a new car, for good reasons. But I encountered nothing but high quality, professional, and very enjoyable help at Van Hyundai in my experience. I went to Van Hyundai many times over the course of 6 weeks in my quest for a new car. They were very patient with me every time, and I felt no pressure from them at all. We drove four different cars on four separate visits. Each time was a great experience. My sales representative, Eric Tom, made a point of putting me and my family at ease. We established a relationship in which he served more as a consultant than as a salesman. When it came time to make an offer, Eric served as my advocate. Once we made a deal, the service department team, finance team, and the entire crew were vey helpful. I admit that I don't remember all of the names of the people from Van Hyundai who were involved with me, but I do remember that everyone was very pleasant. This was truly an enjoyable event, and I'll gladly recommend Van Hyundai to my friends.

I went to Van Hyundai with the full intentions of purchasing a new Tucson. I was greeted at the door by Will and he introduced me to Tony Oliver, the dealer that I would be doing business with. Tony was very good at listening to what I wanted or didn't want. We went for a test drive in the Tucson GLS and I loved it. The car I had was a 2007 Tucson that I used for my trade in. I am a Hyundai fan, this is my 2nd Tucson. Since the one I wanted wasn't at this location, I had to wait a few days for delivery which they gave me a loaner. When I returned to pick up my vehicle I was greeted with "Welcome Back". Tony went over my manuals and then Shane went over all the contracts before I signed them. I am very pleased with all that I received from Van Hyundai! I'll be back for sure!

Went to look at a new 2 dr coup, after 30/ 40 minutes they could not get the one I was interested in started, dead battery. It had dead battery n they could not get it to jump start, it had 1/17 sticker. They went to get a similar vehicle, it would not start either. This is not first time I have had problems at this dealership. Don't waste your time go somewhere else

This is our 9th Hyundai in 15 yrs...almost all family members are driving a hyundai. Can't beat the warranty, can't beat the quality for a great price. Cant beat the safety features! My 2012 Sante Fe saved my life when I was t-boned by a 55mph vehicle. I replaced it with a 2015 Sante Fe! My 80yr old mom has her second Elantra (2015) and loves it!

Van Hyundai refused to service my vehicle or honor the warranty they sold me because I had previously given them a bad survey. I purchased my new Hyundai Sonata from Van Hyundai in 2013. I also purchased an extended warranty from Van Hyundai the day of my purchase. I was promised a free first oil change if I brought my car back in to try out the service department. I scheduled a service appointment with their online tool and showed up to my appointment on time. Is was raining the day I arrived for my appointment and there was absolutely no where to park at the dealership for service customers. I had to park in a parking lot a few businesses over and run through the puddles/pot xxxxx. They had new cars for sale taking up the few service parking spots they had and there was absolutely nowhere else to park. After finally getting inside and finding someone inside to acknowledge my existence or help me at all, I was checked in and told to wait in the lobby. The restrooms next to the lobby were disgusting and looked as if they were under construction but someone had decided to just leave them that way forever. Three hours later my scheduled oil change was finally complete. Needless to say I was upset with the rude employees, the horrible conditions of the facility inside and out but most of all I was upset that a scheduled oil change took over 3 hours to complete. When I received the request to review my experience at Van Hyundai I obviously gave them a bad survey that was honest and well deserved. Fast forward over a year later... after months and months of receiving requests to come back and "give them another chance" as stated in the emails and mailers so I decided to give them that chance to see if they had improved the service department, as well as take advantage of the free oil change offer. This time I scheduled my appointment (appointment was on June 6th, 2015) for the free oil change, the discounted tire rotation as well as some warranty work I needed done. They said I couldn't use both coupons offers together; although it doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon. I was told if they couldn't recreate the warranty problems I told them I was experiencing, they would charge me for even having to look at my car. I then went to the lobby to wait - after 45 minutes the service employee came to get me so I could speak to his service manager. The service manager then proceeded to tell me they were refusing service to me because I gave them a bad survey. Yep, that's right... they refused service all because I gave an honest survey regarding their horrible service. Not only that, they won't even honor the additional warranty they sold me at their dealership for almost $1700. This dealership does not honor the warranty they sell, they won't honor the manufactures warranty and they do not honor their coupons. They are only interested in taking your money, making you wait hours for basic scheduled service that should only take minutes, or they just refuse service to loyal Hyundai owners who give honest surveys. Van Hyundai's service department is unprofessional, unethical and filthy. I was in no way rude to this dealership; I never raised my voice, caused a scene in anyway, cussed or did anything other than leave and yet this is how they treat Hyundai customers -all because they only want people who give great surveys for horrible service. The service manager also claimed they called me about my concerns and my service but I never received a single call. They had my current information too since I used it to book my appointment. Not one person ever called me to apologize or to go over my experience. When they refused to service my vehicle this time, they tried to say they had called me about my first survey. This is a complete and total lie; I would've gladly shared my experience with them.

I had an easy time with the test drive and ultimately the purchase of my new Sonata. I walked in with a pre-approved loan that would take some back and forth with the bank potentially taking days to finalize the purchase. They were able to find financing that not only got my monthly payment lower than my bank's pre-approved loan, I drove off the lot with my new car in 2 hours, not 2 days.

I bought a 2015 Hyundai Elantra Limited in March 2015. The car has been in the shop twice. The second time for almost 2 weeks. While in the shop I was given a loaner car. While in my possession a rock flew and hit front windshield causing a crack. I totally understand that I should be responsible for this as it has been claimed through my insurance. When they delivered my car after two weeks I was told that they would work something out about crack in windshield since they kept my car for so long but I choose to do the right thing. Now while my car was in their possession someone stole my daughters Iphone 5s out of my glovebox. They could have cared less and wanted me to do the right thing regarding the cracked windshield but they aren't responsible for things missing out of my car and refuse to do anything about it. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE all around!! Please be aware. I will never in my life refer anyone to them or purchase another vehicle from them again!!!!!

The staff really believes in taking care of the customer. I first went to see if I could ge something to lower my payments and when I couldn't I let the guys know that I believe they did all that they could but it wasn't within my budget so I thank them and left because due to have to complete my chemo treatment I missed the deal to get in this one car by one day because the offer ended on the day before. I got a call when there was a memorial day sale that was something that I could fit into my budget and I'm very satisfied with that. I appreciate not feeling pressured and they stayed true to their word and even had the color car and interior that I wanted and that's what keeps me coming back because the first time the staff said that they didn't want to put me into something if it wasn't beneficial to me and I can really respect a dealership like that because it shows that it's all about the cutomer and not just a profit.

They have no parking available around the dealership and they are right next to 35 and the carrolton downtown, so good luck getting there with a cruddy looking exterior and interior. They make tons of promises about having the best service, but after you buy, they could care less. And they will call and email several times to get you to fill out your review. The sales guy that sold my car is no longer there after 2 months, wonder why. The city is trying to get the dealership to leave, but they won't. After your service visit, they park your car into an over crowded lot across the street with other cars that are being serviced and you need to back out onto a busy street with the exit ramp from 35. Good luck with this!! It is crazy busy traffic all of the time and the people working there are not professional and not that intelligent.

This was the best Hyundai purchase experience I have had so far, and this is my sixth Hyundai to purchase so far. The team at Van were friendly and considerate of my time. From vehicle selection, test drive, and finance, everyone was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and eager to satisfy.

I have had my 2002 Sonata (purchased from a private party and, sorry to say, totaled by a daughter), our 2006 Sonata (purchased used from a Plano dealer and still driven daily by me) and our 2013 Sonata (purchased new at Van, driven daily by my wife) regularly serviced by Van and have received excellent service and treatment by everyone involved. I can think of no reason to switch to any other dealer, unless we were to move to another residence too far removed from Carrollton to make the drive worthwhile.

VERY LONG REVIEW!This was absolutely the worst car buying experience I have had thus far. I, my mother, and grandmother went to this dealership to look at a car that we had seen on their website for my mother. First of all, we get to the dealership and and the car being shown to us is NOT the car pictured on the website. We are simply told "well sometimes they put the wrong pictures on the site." Upon looking at the car, the salesman tells us that this particular car has a dent on the side of it (which is likely why this car was not the car pictured on the website). Had we known that this car had such a defect, we more than likely would not had even gone to see it. But we are here now, and my mother really needs a new car. So we test drive the car, etc. and my mother likes it, despite the dent on the side of the car. I ask the salesman if there could be some kind of concession or discount for the dent, seeing as though if we had known that this car was damaged we would not have come in. He tells us that it is up to the "finance guy" but he will ask him about it. So, we get back to the sales office and the salesman asks me how much I saw the car for on their website. I tell him what I thought it was to the best of my knowledge, thinking SURELY they would double check the price of the car. No. (Back to that later). So our salesman gets my mother's informaton and takes it back to the "finance guy" who goes by the name of Shane, to see what they could do as far as monthly payments. He eventually comes back with the price of the car, minus a "discount" that they had given us for the dent. (Turns out there was no discount, which I will get to later.) We had already told our salesman what we wanted the payments to be around. My mother came with a significant down payment (almost half the price of the car), so we thought surely we could get close to the payment we wanted. Oh boy, were we wrong, according to Shane who spoke to us like children and made us feel like utter crap for even THINKING that we could get a car payment of that amount. I'd like to repeat the things he said to us, but I get angry just thinking about it. He was inconsiderate, uncompassionate, disrespectful and downright rude. While we ended up purchasing the car because, like I said before, my mother really needed a car, our experience was horrific. We needed to come back the next morning to actually pick the car up and when we went home that night, something told me to check the price of that car on their website, and what do you know...the car was CHEAPER than they sold it to us for. The price they sold it to us, minus this supposed discount, was the ACTUAL full price of the car. No deductions. We were blatantly lied to about this. I ask them about this the next day when we went in and was simply told, "well we went by the price YOU told us it was." You're kidding me right? So am I to assume that I can just walk into your dealership and name my own price for any car on the lot and I'll get it for that amount? I was still so tired from the back and forth the night before (we were there for over three hours) that I didnt even feel like arguing about it. I had already made up my mind that they had not seen nor heard the last of me as I would leave a review on every site that I possibly could, I would contact corporate headquarters, contact their GM and anything else that needed to be done. OH and THEN I looked at their website the next day and the very same car is now listed for an entire $1500 cheaper than what they sold it to us for! I couldn't believe it. So, I said all that to say that I will NEVER do business with this dealership, nor refer anyone to them or anything else of that matter. Shane Manry does NOT need the job he has as he cannot deal with people. He needs to be sitting in a closet somewhere. The ONLY saving grace, or so I thought, was our actual salesman as he was nice and compassionate and respectful the entire time. He never lost his composure nor acted like our requests were absurd. But now that I have realized that even HE was dishonest with us, I am rethinking that sentiment.

Despite the fact that past reviews on some websites weren't favorable, I selected Van Hyundai for a few reasons: recent reviews were better, they're on the way to my Lewisville office (convenient for scheduled service visits), and they still had a new 2014 Santa Fe Sport at a great price and with the features that I wanted or needed. I submitted an online request for a quote one evening, received an emailed quote within 30 minutes from Internet Manager Eddie Frazier; we spoke the next day and scheduled a test drive the following Saturday (hoping that the vehicle would still be available). It was; I test-drove it and fell in love with it. Eddie was great, explaining some features that were different from those on my then-current vehicle. After the test drive, they presented some numbers, but I had an appointment to drive a Ford Escape that morning and wanted to have a same-day comparison before making a final decision. Eddie and the team didn't pressure me at all -- they said that the general quote on the Sport would be good for as long as the vehicle was available. After I test-drove the Escape and decided on the Sport , I called Eddie and gave them a down payment via credit card until we could finalize the purchase in between the recent bouts of bad weather.Eddie is a nice, genuine, no-nonsense guy who shoots straight. When I went to finalize the purchase, I asked him about the negative reviews; he said they were accurate but that the new team was committed to conducting business differently than in the past (Eddie worked at Van Hyundai before and came back when the new team was brought onboard). They gave me a fair price on my trade-in and removed the two most expensive dealer add-ons. Rod in Finance worked with me to secure a good APR; because of that, I was able to purchase an extended warranty to cover the electronics and still keep my payment within my preferred range. Eddie spent about 30 minutes with me after the deal was completed to make sure I was comfortable with the vehicle's basic operations. He helped me add my personal mobile to the Bluetooth system and gave some great advice: get totally comfortable with one new feature on the vehicle before I start learning about the next feature. I was in and out in about 2 hours. Eddie scheduled my first service visit, and I've already received a call from the assigned service representative. Eddie also called a few days later to check on me and said to call him any time I had a question -- even at midnight -- and gave me his mobile number. I've since taken him up on his offer and called with a couple of questions that he addressed. Everyone in the dealership has been friendly and helpful, and I'd highly recommend Eddie and the team at Van Hyundai.

Hard to start! What a great experience! We went in to have our 2011 Sonata serviced and ended up with a 2015! Our experience with the 2011 was perfect so we have no doubt this one will continue the trend. Came in for the 2014 Demo, after driving the 2015 Genesis, I was sold. Tom Chu and Will Lipsey both made for a pleasant buying experience. I would buy from them again.Although a day after purchase a pesky check engine light came on and after day two it wouldn't go away. They gave me an exact duplicate car for my troubles. I'd say that's excellent service.

This is our second Hyundai Sonata (first was a used 2004 now driven by our son). I learned of the 2015 vehicle from an email that the dealership sent. I suspected it was only a ploy to get people to come in (as has happened in the past with other dealers), but it turned out to be a real car with real rebates that dropped the price for this base model vehicle to under $17,000. I see used 2015 Sonatas selling for more than I paid all the time. I purchased this car for my wife as a Christmas surprise. The Van Hyundai team went out of their way to customize the experience complete with bows and hand crafted signs on the car. It really was a helpful and kind effort. My experience with dealers in the past has NOT been positive. This time, I can see why Hyundai is gaining so much market share. THANKS to all who helped me at Van Hyundai, especially Richard Magnotti (Internet Manager/Product Professional).

I bought a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe back in December '13. Until then, I previously owned 1996, 2003, & 2006 Nissan Maxima's. I was reluctant to look at a Hyundai because I was a Nissan devotee. With that said, I was pleasantly surprised with what a great experience Van Hyundai was when shopping for a car is often an awful experience. I never felt rushed, we worked on finances until I felt comfortable, and I have been happy with my car choice for 2 years now. I take my vehicle into the Van Hyundai service center for each scheduled visit. I have nothing to say but positive things about every visit. All the staff are friendly and take care of you...I couldn't ask for more. Brandon Henson is really great to work with as well as Sherry & Jason. All in all, I have been a happy Hyundai owner & customer.

I own a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and had to take it in for service. The staff was very friendly however there were some issues. Brandon was very quick to correct the issue and was more than accommodating. He followed up several times to ensure my service was excellent. I now use them for all service issues as well as oil changes and car detail (car was spotless). Definitely recommend and will refer others to this dealership.

Dont believe all of what you hear Sherry Parker will get you in as friendly as can be. When things dont work out in her favor she will just ignore you. (I was ignored 2 hours while I was waiting to get my car towed back home. The Service Manager Brandon Henson does nothing but take his smoke breaks and thanks you for your service if you have service there. If you dont he ignores you also. You are a great customer if you are paying either warranty or out of pocket. But if you decide not to use them they could care less if your stranded. Even after they told you it would be covered when you made an appointment.

I have had the TDI Jetta whose purchase was mentioned in a prior review for just over a year, and wanted to mention that the satisfaction I had when purchasing this car had continued with the service department. When I purchased the car, I was told that the purchase included free oil changes for a year.Two things concerned me. The first was I knew I would be putting 30K miles on this car in a year, and at an oil change per 5K miles, that would be 6 oil changes. The other was that the sort of oil that is manufacturer recommended for VW TDI diesels is not a common type, costs more, and was something they did not stock since Hyundai has no diesel models. I was expecting some sort of qualifier limiting me to a couple of oil changes. To their credit, they happily did 6 oil changes in the first year, and not only did they use an original VW filter, they actually purchased the oil from a VW dealership.Yesterday I was near there, and stopped in to see my service writer (Sherry Parker) about tires. When I had originally purchased the car, I had ended up buying tires from the VW dealership in Richardson, TX when the car was in for a minor factory recall. The VW dealer told me when buying the tires that the price included rotating and balancing every 5K miles, but each time I took the car in, they tried to bill me for balancing, telling me that only rotating was free.Sherry has assured me that at Van Hyundai, both were included. May sound silly, but I will continue to take my VW TDI Jetta to Van Hyundai for oil changes, and I plan to buy my next tires in a couple of months there.I have nothing against Hyundai, except that they don't offer a diesel, but I hope they do someday so I can buy theirs next time around because of my satisfaction with this dealership.

Recently had a great experience at Van Hyundai. Purchased a 2014 Sonata GLS with the popular equipment package. Beautiful car. The purchasing process was good. William Lipsey was great to work with. Everyone from the salesmen, sales manager, and finance manager were up front and honest about everything. This was a service loaner they had so it did have about 5,000 miles on it when bought. Had a little disappointment when we got home and realized there was a chip in the paint on the rear passenger door that we somehow missed. Immediately emailed Will and let them know. They asked me to bring it back and and they would see what they could do about it. They actually took the car back for a couple days to put it in the body shop to completely repaint the door. i cannot say enough about how great they were about it. They were quick to respond and keep me updated on when it was done and Jason Kline made sure it was done right. I don't know about anyone else, but i can honestly say i had a complete 5 star experience sales and service. Thank you so much for our beautiful car and quick service.

Chris Farmer was great. He began working with my husband by phone. The day that we went in, I wasn't sure that I wanted the car that I was interested in because of the color. We looked at it but he didn't press. He offered another option which we drove. Looked at some of the other options in the Sonata. Then we drove the Genesis. I sat in the Black Genesis, but after being in a fully loaded car and getting into the near base model, it just wasn't the same. When we buy my daughter's car in December, we will deal with Chris again.

We are thoroughly disappointed with our entire experience at Van Hyundai. From the initial phone call inquiring about our car of interest until the minute we walked out the door, the whole ordeal was incredibly fake and unprofessional. We aren't even upset about the price we didn't receive on the car. More so, the insulting manner in which our appointment was conducted. From the rambling initial attendant to the "other customers" wanting to test drive, to the unknowing manager, the whole thing was a complete waste of our time and we would highly recommend not dealing with this company or at least these representatives. There were a number of played out marketing tactics strategically placed throughout our appointment that were insulting and ineffective. **UPDATE**After the bad experience we had the day before, the manager contacted us the next day and was able to meet our needs. We spoke openly about what had happened the day before and it became obvious that we got off on the wrong foot with our sales representatives. The experience this time around was much better and we are very happy with our purchase. Thank you to everyone at Van Hyundai.

I am so glad I went to Van Hyundai for me new Santa Fe. I called another dealership first and the salesman was not interested in selling me a vehicle. I submitted a request to Van Hyundai and receive a reply and a phone call right away. I initially spoke to Gene Johnson and he was very friendly and helpful. I met with Elbony when I arrived and she was very friendly and easy to talk to. Very, very happy with with my purchase. I would recommend everyone give them a call. I totaled my 2009 Kia, which I loved. Since Kia and Hyundai are very similiar, and the Kia dealer was impossible to deal with, I wen to Van Hyundai and Josh Powell was very helpful in finding a Sonata with the features my wife and I wanted at at price we could afford. Sherry and the technician that worked on my "blue" were very thorough and quick! Sherry's customer service skills are warm and refreshing. Sherry's good treatment and that of the other staff members is worth the 10 minute drive; as I live right next door(literally footsteps away) to a GoodYear, and I had allowed them to do my oil changes, repairs and basic maintenance for over 3 years. First impression with Sherry and the team took that business away from GoodYear. I have been happy or more than happy with my experiences thus far at Van Hyundai, and will continue to return for any and all things related to taking care of my "blue" (My Blue Hyundai 06 Sonata).

The Van Hyundai team exceeded my expectations this weekend when I purchased my 2014 Sonata. The purpose of my visit was to continue research into the Hyundai vehicles and the many features I was interested. Chris S. assisted me by providing a positive and friendly attitude, answering all my questions and spending as much time as I needed to look at the different models and features. Chris did not make me feel pressured or rushed into making a car purchase. After I finished looking at the vehicles, I explained that I did not plan to acquire a vehicle for another couple months and Chris politely asked if there was anything that might change my mind toward making a purchase that day. I explained an offer under which I would make a car purchase then and there, but I did not expect the offer to be accepted. After a brief negotiation period however, the Van Hyundai team met my offer and exceeded my expectations in so doing. And customer service didn't end there as Chris had the car detailed & fully fueled for me after I completed the paperwork.I am very satisfied with my purchase and Van Hyundai should be at the top of every car buyers list. Great car, great dealership, you can't go wrong!

Being in a Ch. bankruptcy was too much for these guys to handle. Although I got the usual call from a young, excited sales type, he never called back and was probably told by his boss to blow me off as financing would take too much effort and time on their part. This was my second and last attempt to deal with this shop. Don't shop here if you are expecting the warm and fuzzy. They are as artificial as it comes.

I came in to look for a new car, with a specific one in mind. Called in at eleven and asked if I could drive it at noon. This was arranged without any hassle. I went back after work, with the intent to buy the car. My only complaint is not with the service, but with the equipment they have to use in the dealer. Van Hyundai could use some PC upgrades, and a better internal network. Someone mentioned they're using WiFi for their network.All said and done, I went home with a very nice car that was less than half the price of the BMW that I really wish I could afford.

Purchased a 2010 Elantra Touring new from this dealership and have taken it back religiously for maintenance and warranty work ever since. I've never had a bad experience. Regarding the $125.00 "Warranty" charge another reviewer complained about (and by the way, it's not their fault you (the reviewer) had to drive "45 minutes" to get there): My recent trip to the dealership involved a potential warranty issue and I too was quoted the $125.00 "diagnostic" fee. HOWEVER, it was explained to me that if the issue was deemed a covered warranty item, the fee would be waived. My problem was covered under the warranty and the $125.00 fee was waived, so to me, it's a non-issue. Most of the time I have "waited" for my vehicle but there has been 4 times I needed a "loaner" car. 3 times they've given me very nice Hyundai Genesis' to drive and 1 time they had no loaners available so they took me over to the on-site Enterprise Rent-a-Car and got me a car at no expense (except for gas). They always follow up with me after I get my car back and they always give me my car back MUCH cleaner than when I took it in...I'm shocked sometimes as it looks like they've done a complete detail on the car vs. a quick wash job. Nothing but good things to say about the Service Manager (Brandon) and Jason Kline who has assisted me the last 2 times I brought my car in. If I have one "negative" to whine about is the last time I took it in for warranty work they called me to tell me I needed a new battery and an alignment. I didn't complain about it but it sorta irritated me that I took it in for warranty work and still ended up paying $300+ for unexpected service. For the record afterward I did some research on-line regarding the work they recommended and found that what they recommended was considered "normal" service for a car with my mileage/age on it.

In a state of shock because of an auto accident caused by a 16 yr old female running a red light, I returned to Van Hyundai to consider my options if/when my 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe which I had just purchased from this dealership three months earlier was pronounced dead or rather totalled. I semi-seriously told Samuel Anthony that I was really looking for a tank because of my recent accident, but really wanted another Hyundai because of the safety features. I had walked away from that accident w/o any serious damages to myself, so I was sold on the safety of my Hyundai and the estimator at the repair facility when asked stated that Hyundai is one of the safest cars on the road.Samuel Anthony very kindly assured me that he would make sure that I had just the vehicle that I wanted - safe, reasonably priced, fuel efficient and SAFE! I was shown the new Tucson SE which fit all those specifications, but my heart was still drawn to the Veloster. Yeah, I know, it's not a tank, but it makes me feel safe when I'm inside driving it, pricing was within the budget I set and the fuel efficiency was better than the totalled Santa Fe or the previous Santa Fe I had owned.I visited the dealership several times over the next ten days, once even as late as 10 minutes before closing. Not once was I made to feel unwelcome or a bother - even though I asked lots of questions, dithered about making a decision because I really wanted this to be the right car and generally thought that at times I pushed the boundaries of politeness. But these guys are great! They made me feel cared for, did not make me feel rushed or a nuisance or just a number at a busy dealership (which they are) and did not make me feel as though I was wasting their time (even though my own daughter by this time was telling me to just make a choice and get the Veloster since that was the car I had wanted since September).This is definitely a dealership with employees that care about their customers. I'm so glad that I'm a part of their family.

I couldn't have had a better experience. I contacted Van Hyundai by internet and chose Van Hyundai because the dealer incentives were better than many in the area, and Gene Johnson was very quick to respond. Gene has a laid back approach that worked well with me. I don't like to be pressured and I really don't like haggling prices. I traded my 2012 lease in for a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. Gene covered every piece of ground that could be covered and gave me all the time I needed without any pressure whatsoever. Alex in the finance department was extremely helpful and very efficient. Cory Bosley was another sales person that was very friendly and kind. Fayaz Keshavjee worked with me to get the best price. Overall the experience was one I would recommend to my dearest friends! Thank you all for making my day complete! I also have a sweet little red Sonata out of the deal!!!

VanHyundai and Gene made the experience low pressure and were very friendly and accommodating. Gene demonstrated extensive knowledge of the vehicles and was helpful in creating a targeted list of vehicles to test drive that fit my needs and price range. I also greatly appreciated the extended test drive, it highlighted the benifits of the Elantra GT to me and really allowed me to get a feel for the car. Which ultimately lead me to purchase one.

It was the end of the year and I had gone to many other dealerships. On New Years Eve, I got a call from Gene asking if I was in the market for a car. I said yes and went to see him at 4pm on NYE. They worked to get my trade-in value up and the finance rate down and in the end we had a deal. I am looking at another vehicle over the 30 days and will be speaking with these guys again for sure.

We told him a specific price range we had in mind and he worked with us to accomplish that price for the car we bought. I was looking at new cars, and had researched through Consumer Reports, so I knew that I wanted to test drive and Elantra. Prior to coming to Van Hyundai, I had been to AutoNation Honda and Toyota of Lewisville. I stopped by Van, intending only to drive an Elantra, since it was so highly rated. Someone else had called me in response to my USAA internet inquiry, but that person was not in, so Anthony Salas came out to meet me instead. After going to two other dealerships the previous two days, I thought I knew "the routine", but Salas was very different. He sat down and asked me about my current car, how I drove, things I wanted, etc. Then, based on our conversation, he recommended several cars. I did drive the Elantra, and was so impressed with both the car and the service that I decided to buy the car in lieu of going to my next appointment at Toyota of Plano. Anthony was real, down-to-earth, and fair. He knew about every car I asked about. At the other two dealerships, one salesperson actually recommended I go to a different dealership in Frisco, and the other dealership I test drove cars the young man/salesperson liked. I was very impressed with Mr. Salas because it wasn't all about him...he made it about me. He didn't try to "sell me up", but instead made recommendations and gave me options within my price range. I highly recommend Mr. Salas as knowledgeable and fair sales representative.

I'm a first time car buyer, and with my credit, and lower income- I just knew they'd laugh me right out of the dealership, as I'd been turned down from so many in the past- but they didn't, the exact opposite happened. They calmly walked me through the entire process, no up sells, no boxes, no pushing. I got my first car! :) - $500 more down than what I wanted, but doable, and understandable considering my financial situation, this would be my only sour moment. I'm still in shock, over the low monthly payments, the decent interest rate considering, the amazing warranty on a used car, the complete respect I received from everyone. I'm thankful for everything this dealership was able to do for me. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone needing a chance to purchase an amazing vehicle, regardless of their circumstance.

My experience purchasing a new vehicle was exceptional! A recent automobile accident created a situation I was not anticipating. Knowing that my vehicle was totaled, I was left to make a decision. I had a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and felt it performed well and protected me when I needed it most. Without a doubt, I chose to stay with the Hyundai Santa Fe. Van Hyundai proved to be the right dealership to make my purchase. Chris Shaw and Bryan Hall made me feel at ease and not rushed to make my purchase. The negotiation process went smooth and timely. During financing, Alex Reese, was helpful in explaining my options and made closing the deal expeditious. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend Van Hyundai to family and friends!

Van Hyundai was the most friendly and helpful car dealership I have ever experienced. Stevie and Devon were the best salesmen. Devon was in training and he was awesome with any questions we had and if he didn't know the answer, he made sure he found the answer. Stevie was so patient answering all of our questions and getting the right deal to satisfying our needs and desires. We were there for a while making sure we purchased just the right vehicle for our family. We had our two young boys with us and they were getting hungry because it was through lunch. Van Hyundai fed lunch to our children and offered us lunch. Just another outstanding customer service perk! I enjoyed every aspect of this car buying experience and me and my family would definitely go back and recommend Van Hyundai to anyone we know or don't know.

The car had to be secured from another dealership and as promised was available the next day. He demonstrated the multimedia display and set up the Bluetooth Hands-free Phone system for my wife. We bought a diesel Jetta from another dealership on a Tuesday. Two days later on Thursday that dealer destroyed that car by filling it up with gas and running it till the engine would not start. We voided that sale the same Thursday and never took delivery of the car. On Saturday, we bought a TDI Jetta from Van Hyundai.When they heard what we encountered, you would think they had ruined the previous car themselves. The general manager insisted on handling our sale personally. They sold us the only diesel Jetta they had in stock for basically their cost (and I mean their real cost, not their "cost"). The sale was transacted quickly. They got us an interest rate 1.4% lower than we had on the previous car from the same lender. They treated us like we bought a new car from them on a weekly basis, even though we tend to keep cars 8 to 10 years and had never been in that dealership before.Best way I know to describe the experience of dealing with this dealership would be via an analogy. I've never doubted that someone has seen a full solar eclipse at high noon on their birthday while standing exactly on the equator, but I've never met anyone personally who has. THAT is how comparably rare, pleasant, and uniquely exhilarating our car buying experience was with this dealership.You could, and probably will, do a whole lot worse if this is not the first dealership you visit when looking for a car in the DFW area, be it new or used. The next time I buy a car, I am going to call them, tell them what I want, and if they don't have it, wait until they do. The wait will be time well invested.

We went with the intent on purchasing and trading just my car. We came out with two brand new cars and saving us on our monthly budget with having two cars. Fayaz was really awesome. I had been in contact with him via email before I came onto the dealership. He had both cars that we were looking for and did everything he could to make sure that we were happy with our decision. Fantastic guy and I highly recommend him. My only issue was the wait to sign the finance paperwork which took hours to wait in line before it was our turn. But BJ made that a pleasurable experience and made the process go faster than we were expecting. Thanks Van Hynundai!

I liked the whole buying experience. I contacted the dealership asking for quotes, and instead of giving me a generic answer the agent spent time describing the type of rebates they were offering. We were treated with a lot of respect during the entire negotiation process by Matt. The dealership also allowed us to check out the vehicile while we were waiting. The paperwork was done quickly and transparently, and the car was delivered on time with the promised packages. The sales agent Matt has been in touch with me even after the delivery to make sure I did not have any concerns.

Received a $5 refund check in regards to a vehicle that I purchased from Van Hyundai, they waited a full 90 days before they actually mailed the check preventing me from cashing it because it was marked void after 90 days. After multiple messages left for Betsy Perkins, the woman who issued the check, I've decided to let the State Attorney General's office handle it because it seems like shady business practices to me. If you can't trust a dealership to give you $5 that you're owed, do you really think you can trust them with your next car purchase? I'll let you decide for yourself, but I won't be returning.

After having a bad experience at AutoNation Nissan in Lewisville, my husband and I inquired with Van Hyundai about a pre-owned Elantra they had on their lot. I immediately got a response from Mark Porter who answered all of my email quickly and politely. I told him about my experience at AutoNissan and how they were not able to meet our payment needs on a similar vehicle. I was able to give Mark all of our information over the internet and he began working on the financing the next morning. All day while I was at work, he was able to answer every email I sent (I sent him a lot of emails) and was able to do a lot of the legwork in advance. We went up to the dealership around 630pm to look at that Elantra however he showed us a preowned Sentra which cost less, was a more luxurious car and had more features. After taking a test drive, we decided to work up a deal. Mark and his finance team were able to come within dollars of my requested payment amount with zero down. They also gave us $1300 more for our trade than AutoNation Nissan had offered us. The process was lengthy only because they were busy that night and there were 3 other parties ahead of us buying vehicles. Mark was supposed to go home at 6. He stayed until we were completely done at 1015pm! The Sentra we bought had just come in as a lease return so it was still being serviced and detailed. Mark let us take home one of the other Sentras on the lot to drive for the night and the next day before my husband could get back to pick up our new car. We dreaded going through this process and after being given the run around by AutoNation were not looking forward to attempting it with another dealership. However because of Marks straight forward approach, knowledge of Hyundai vehicles and attentiveness to our needs we gave it a try and got exactly (actually more!) than we wanted. Not to mention, Mark has quite the personality I think hed make a great comedian if the car business ever falls flat. In addition, we never once felt rushed or pressured at all. We love the car and really appreciate all of the help that Mark and his coworkers gave us. I will be referring my friends and family to Van Hyundai and will probably end up purchasing cars from them in the future. We have 2 about-to-be drivers! (teens)

After leaving the first day I visited I received an email from Richard Lipsey, an automated email, but nonetheless and email. The last line said if we didnt meet your price or your trade in value I want to know about it. So, being the outspoken kind of person I am I replied to the email. Within a few hours Jakob was calling me and the price was where I wanted it to be. I had plans already with my daughter on that Friday night so I gave them a credit card to hold the car until the next morning when I could get back to Carrollton (I live 46 miles away). I showed up Saturday morning with my husband we were in and out in a few hours. I drove off in my new car. The following Monday morning they came and picked it up at my office and tinted the windows. There is a scrap on the wheel where someone had hit a curb and they are going to fix that this next week. overall a very good experience. I would recommed them and if Hyundai turns out to be as good a car as I think it will then I will go back to them when I am ready to buy either my daughter a new car or myself again if she gets this one when she turns of driving age.

I have had my Hyundai for almost three years and I have normally had a pretty good experience with the service department. Today was different my door handle broke and I sent up an appointment and drove the 45 min trip to get there. I assumed since my car only has 60,000 miles on it that it should be covered under warrant. Carl my service advisor said on the phone that they could look at it and see if it would be covered under warranty. When I get there he said it would cost me $125 from them to look at it. This really upset me! Why should I have to pay $125 from them to tell me if its covered under warrant. I told him no thank you I wasn't going to pay that. All he could say was sorry. I'm never going back there again and will make sure everyone I know never buys a car from there. They don't care about there customers at all. All they want is to make more money. Its actually funny I was thinking about buying a new car from there but not know. I will NEVER be back!

First, I wish there was a "needs improvement" selection rather than having to select between "bad" or "OK." My experience with the service department face-to-face is a pleasant one, and as long as all the work is able to be done at the time of drop-off, you will be fine and have a 5-star experience. However, twice now with Van Hyundai, I have had parts go on order and have been sent away to await their arrival. Both times now, I have waited weeks and weeks, positive it must have arrived. It is likely sitting on one of their shelves right at this moment awaiting action. I have received no phone call, e-mail or any other notification that the part is in. If your problem happens to be a recall, something that isn't exactly causing a problem at the moment, you may forget about it altogether. In my case, I have had an intermittent problem, so only when it reappears do I get reminded of this part on order.It seems they do so many things well, if they simply improved follow-up, they would have it all sewn up. However, they are now officially 0-2, and that isn't good. It means they haven't fixed their procedures, or aren't following them, since their first goof. One goof is acceptable. Two may indicate bad management.One other comment regarding the question, "Would you recommend this dealer," their should be a selection "Undecided/Neutral," as this is what I am. I don't feel they have been so bad I would actively not recommend them, yet I don't think I'd go out of my way to positively recommend them either. Alas, no selection for that on this site. The site could be improved.

My significant other and I were First time new car buyers. Not since I had to clean a port a potty have I had to wade through so much crap. The 80s car salesman tactics the manager close the paper commitment. They smiled the whole timeas they ignored what options I didnt want and insisted that I must pay. I still ended up paying more than the average in my state and I even put 5 grand down. After buying there was a registration mess up. Somehow I never received one sticker. After many phone calls and complaints Samuel Anthony Salas kept handing me off or blaming the receptionists. It had been over a year I had no clue when my car was even expired until a police officer gave me a ticket. I asked for the dealership to pay for the new registration that I never got or the ticket. He said he would call me back when his manager "chewed on it" its been another 2 weeks no calls. I get happy birthday calls but no real customer service. I get happy anniversary calls but nothing is done about my issues. Fake. False and misrepresentes. I will never reccomend this place to anyone I even remotely like. Whats messed up is when I call to complain they dont apologize they argue with you. You never get into an argument with a customer and expect them to be happy. Very disapointing and this is coming from a salesman.

He was extremely helpful in finding me exactly what I wanted and right away. He was willing to drive the car to me.. and even returned my rent car for me! I told my friends that was beyond great customer service. From the moment I met him, he put my mind at ease with his personality. His sense of humor and no-pressure attitude really made me comfortable with the whole situation, which in the past has been very stressful! Alex in the finance department also made me feel at ease. Every now and again something happens that renews your faith in honesty, fairness and friendliness. Van Hyundai has done this for me. I received a letter from Van Hyundai telling me how much they would allow on my 2004 Lexus, RX 330 as a trade in. This marketing technique took me to the dealership to look at what they had to offer. I had no intention of buying a car; however, I started looking at a Santa Fe Sport on the showroom floor and Anthony came out to see if he could help. He is unbelievable as a salesman. You never one minute feel pushed, but on the other hand, you feel quite special. My husband and I took a ride with me driving in the Santa Fe Sport and Anthony showed us all the wonderful features. I decided right then I wanted a Santa Fe Sport but the one hitch was I wanted a red one which they did not have. They then provided me a new Santa Fe Sport to drive until they could get me the one I wanted. I drove a vehicle owned by the dealership while waiting for my "special" color for four weeks. How much better can it get than that?Anthony downloaded my telephone contacts for me and went over very carefully how to use the navigation system and all of the hands free tools. He was so patient willing to repeat things over if I didn't understand. There wasn't any feature of the car that he did not go over. He instructed me to call anytime I needed anything and I have called more than once and was made to feel special when I did so.The dealership also worked with me on the trade in deal to make it affordable. There isn't one negative thing I can say about Van Hyundai but the most positive thing is they go the extra mile to help you get the vehicle you want at an affordable price. My hat is off to Van Hyundai and Samuel Anthony Salas. My daughter saw my Red Santa Fe and said immediately she would like one of those. I told her I knew where there was a dealership and salesman that I would highly recommend. I would that all my experience in life could be as great as this one.

I found my experience to have been very positive. The sales person was very informative about all the vehicles I drove, and patient as I drove several vehicles. Stevie was very friendly providing us with water as it was very hot outside and we had spent a lot of time walking the lot. The dealership was also very generous with the deal they gave me and made the car I wanted affordable for me. I have always thought buying a car was very stressful, but I had a very enjoyable experience buying this car.

Overall, the dealership was very helpful and provided informative and valuable information starting from my first email request. They took a lot of steps to ensure that I had a great snapshot of price and payment detail prior to stepping into their dealership. We had a small misstep regarding manufacturer rebates which caused the "Good" and not "Great" rating on "Quality of Work." Otherwise, the dealership was fantastic.

The experience started off wonderfully. The price of the car was great, the people we so nice until we got to finance. We bought a warranty not knowing if it was a good deal or not. When I spoke with my insurance company the warranty was $2,000 more than their same policy. This is when it all went downhill and the true customer service came out from the finance guy BJ. I called and he said he would cancel the policy for me but do not expect it to be soon cause he was busy. I quoted the contract saying I needed to send a cancellation letter and he said no all I had to do was let him take care of it. I emailed the manager saying I was sending a certified letter per the contract and wanted to know who to contact to make sure BJ cancelled the order. Next, I get an email saying actually I have to come in to do the paperwork myself. When I arrive, no one comes to talk to me but a salesman gives me a brochure for the warranty company with the phone number and told to call them myself cause they suddenly can not find the paperwork. BJ was rude on the phone constantly speaking over and interrupting me. He told me that what I read on the contract was wrong about getting the refund once I cancelled. He said I had to pay off my car plus the warranty for the five year loan and afterwards then the money would be refunded to me in a check once I paid the car off.Lies, lies, and a huge runaround. Turns out the form is online to the public and the refund will go straight to my loan once cancelled. I have 30 days to do a flat cancellation and this is was a way to make the customer give up or be late on doing paperwork. Everyone in sales is wonderful when they are happy but I give this place a BAD rating and say do not waste your time. The finance department brings the whole place down. Customer service should be about a long term relationship and knowing that I would have come back in the future and recommended them if the company had not been so rude.

I traded in two late model cars for two new 2013 Hyundai vehicles. I closed both deals in the same day about a week ago and I still feel like they were great deals. Normally by this time I'm rethinking the deal and feeling that I could have done better, but not this time.Chris Shaw and Samuel Anthony Salas really provided a great experience. Chris and Samuel Anthony worked with me on the trade-in allowances and took the time to make sure I got all rebates I was eligible for. I found this car that i was interested in on "autotrader.com" and called up the dealership where the car was. Mike Abelino answered the phone and was very friendly and courteous. When i told him that i don't have a vehicle to drive down to the dealership, he promptly offered to come and pick me up saying that a taxi ride would cost me a lot. It was not an expensive car(just under 10K), but the treatment i got was as though i was buying the most expensive car in their showroom. They were also very efficient with their paper work and i went from a walk-in to a car owner in less than 2 hours !!!. It was easy to deal with them and i compare my experience with a Mercedez dealership few days ago. Folks at Mercedez were not easy to deal with and it was painful to even negotiate a simple $500 reduction and it took weeks. That's when i gave up and decided on Hyundai. The Hyundai car i purchased was in immaculate condition and i'm happy owning the car from a trusted and good dealership. If you ever get a chance to be at Van Hyundai, ask for Mike (as he says it - he is the only Mike there :), one of a kind ))

Van Hyundai was by far and away the best dealership experience I have ever had. Matt made the negotiation process quick and simple and Kennedy was great to work with in finance. Overall, this experience was the best I have had buying a new car and I did not come away from it feeling like I was taken advantage of. 10 out of 10, 5 stars!!!

I had no intention of purchasing a car the night we came in. I dislike dealing with dealerships and salesmen over car purchases so when we pulled on the lot and were driving around looking at the new car models I was confident I would be driving home in my 2007 Santa Fe that I came in. Alex Reese is the one that saw us driving around and after talking to him for a moment we told him we had something to do, but we would come and find him. When we were ready he simply brought up the car we were interested in looking at and let us go for a test drive. Once we returned I assured him that we would be keeping the Santa Fe. He was persistent, but not pushy in getting the information together and taking it to his manager. Once everyone agreed on the numbers we had a new 2013 Elantra. It was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend Van Hyundai and Alex Reese to my friends and family. We are very happy with our purchase!

Tom Chu gave me several phond calls to keep me up to date on the situation. He gave me a new Genesis as a loner car until mine was ready. I was completely satisfied with my experience at Van Hyundai.

Never buy a car from Van Hyundai in Carrollton. They do not honor quotes, they sell you additional products that are not needed. When service is needed, they conveniently are unaware of the additional products you've purchased and ask you to produce proof. They influence customers J.D Power's and Associates survey responses by telling customers that if they do not receive all 10's they will not... receive their bonus. Low tire service consists of airing the tires up, telling you it's the weather and sending you on your way without even checking the tires for damage (I have to make A SECOND trip to the dealership tomorrow because of this level of service, or non-service I should say). The 2013 Elantra's MPG was rated 29 city/ 40 highway. I have never gotten over 31 MPG. When I questioned the salesman about the low MPG his response was that I needed to wait until I reached 3000 miles before the MPG would reflect what they advertised. We knew before we asked, that the company had overstated the MPG ratings so he proved himself a liar. The company has since acknowledged the overstated MPG via a letter to customers, but the saleman has never acknowledged it. He will tomorrow. As for the company - they have offered debit cards for the difference between the stated and actual MPG on the car. I have put over 7200 miles on the car I have and the reimbursement I just registered for is a whopping $26! Suffice to say, right now I am extremely annoyed with that dealership and company. They will not be happy to see me tomorrow morning at 7 AM when I arrive with the flat tire and paperwork proving that service visits that they charge a fortune for are already PAID FOR.

We spent over $20k to purchase a two-year old Genesis. Not until after all paperwork was signed and we were ready to leave the dealership, were we informed that there was only one keyless entry fob available. When we inquired about purchasing a replacement, we discovered that it would cost us an additional $500+. We also asked about a set of $20 floormats and were told that adding such an expense to the sale of a used car was cost-prohibitive. I feel that after the paperwork was done, the priority on customer satisfaction dropped to slightly lower than whale snot.

He was very knowledgable and friendly! He truly made our car buying experience a pleasant one! It is also worth mentioning how easy it was to set up our first oil change because the mechanic area is connected to the sales area! We set an appointment for Saturday 2/16/13. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted immediately. I was made to feel welcome when I first entered the office. Fayaz went over some details of the purchase and then took me outside to show me the care and how everything worked. We took it for a drive and returned to the sales office. Fayaz then introduced me to the service department. Before I left Fayaz gave me his card and told me to call him on his cell phone or send him a text message if I had any further questions or needed help operating my car. At no time did I feel that I was being sold something. The entire transaction had the appearance of a conversation between friends.

Bryan Hall his brother in-law Mathew and the finance manager are a good group of guys. I purchased my pre-owned Lexus from these guys and had little to no pressure period! No bs and when i said no to optional warranties they said OK and moved on as every dealer should do. I walked out on the finance manager at crest infinity for pushing too hard for a PDR warranty and would not give until i forced him to...Overall i will not think twice about buying a car from these guys!!!! Total time at the dealership was 2 hours witch in my book is great! I did not have to haggle on the price because according to auto trader and car gurus NADA KBB they where rock bottom as far as pricing on a perfectly clean Lexus!Thanks, Bryan

Very Unorganized, I was never given straight answers to my questions, when I finally mentioned how unhappy I was about the way I was treated or the quality of our service I was told 'Oh well, you got the car right?! That's all that really matters." Our paperwork was finished the day we drove the car away but 2 weeks later I was getting texted by our "car guy" that we needed to come back into the dealership to RE-SIGN the paperwork. It was the holidays and my & my husband's busiest time at work so we were told it could not wait and our "car guy" would drive to meet me at my work & my husbands in McKinney. I was not informed why we had to RE-SIGN our paperwork AFTER the new year I was just told it must be done. I still have not received my NEW RE-SIGNED paperwork in the mail yet. We had also provided proof of insurance & proof of employment but after it was scanned into the system two weeks later I was asked to RE-provide the info. There are a few other things that are still up in the air. I has been a very bumpy ride and I am very upset how we were treated. The attitude around the dealer is like it's "owed" to the "car guys" that everyone buy a car...Like they could care less. It's very frustrating. I feel like they got us to sign the paperwork, got the keys in our hands, and got us out the door and now they have washed their hands of us. And the icing on the cake was the day after we bought the car I got in and was playing around with all the new gadgets and found white sticky goop around the gear shift AFTER I was told that the car was cleaned and detailed. When I brought it to the attention of the dealer I was told that they will detail it again when I bring it in to get the windows tinted...I will not be using Van Hyundai for ANY of my car needs nor will I be referring anyone to you.

We needed to confirm the color of the interior before purchasing a vehicle, so they got one from another dealership and brought it directly to our home so we could look it over. Vehicle operation was thouroughly explained before we left the dealership.

I had first been interested in the Hyundai Sonata a couple of months back. I was pretty positive I wanted it so I sent in an email to their sales dept asking about what kind of down payment I could expect for a new lease. Thomas Chu was nice enough to get back to me quickly and provided the information I needed. A few weeks went by and I finally had my finances in order to lease the Sonata, I went to Van Hyundai and asked for Thomas but he was busy helping another customer so their new employee Chris helped me out. He was new, but very friendly and honest and knowledgeable about the car. We took out the Sonata on a test drive and I was impressed so we went back to talk finance. Thomas proceeded to come back to handle this aspect I'm assuming since Chris was new and still learning the ropes. Thomas came up with a price and we negotiated back and forth until we agreed on a price.I then proceeded to deal with Matthew in Finance who broke down the price and what I agreed to. To my dismay Thomas had stuck in a few options that I wasn't aware of. This really ticked me off, because above all else, especially dealing with buying a new car I want honesty. Matthew was kind enough to explain everything out, and I thought he did an excellent job. They followed up with me when my car was ready, and I'm now a couple of days in and love my car.So just to recap. Chris was awesome, so was Matthew Torres. Stay away from Thomas Chu

I started Saturday morning on an excursion to test drive various cars. I had had an SUV for the last 5 years, which I loved, but wanted to venture out and see what cars had to offer, really not intending to buy. I visited Van Hyundai on Saturday night after test driving various cars at other dealerships. No one really had what I was looking for or, in one case, never bother to even greet me. By the time I got to Van, I was torn between 2 cars - The 2013 Gensis Coupe and the 2013 Sonata Limited 2.0 Turbo.At Van, I had the pleasure of meeting Nathan Gates and even though it was late, he greeted me professionally, with a smile, listened to everything I said, and never once did I feel pressured or placated. He offered to work up numbers on both cars because he could see I was undecided. Once I did decide, Eugene in financing took over. Eugene walked me through every services offered, answered my questions and allowed me to make an informed judgement. By the time I completed the paperwork, Nathan was there to open the door to my new Sonata, freshly cleaned and ready to drive home. During a very late night walk through the lot at Van Hyundai we noticed someone come out of the of the dealership. Matthew Torres approached us, stated he was working after hours on finance department paperwork, and offered to assist us. Like most people we explained we are looking at a couple of models but we are not ready to buy. Matt told us to to see him when we are ready and he will ensure we are assisted by a sales rep that can help us find the right vehicle. About a month later I was interested in test drving two models. At the dealership I asked for Matt and he introduced us to Steve Van Pelt. Steve was perfect for us. I drove 3 vehicles and quickly selected the one I liked the best. Stevie led us through the sales process never applying high pressure. We finished in the finance department with Matt, who also helped meet my price point while providing additional features. After about 4 hours at the dealership we had completed everything and Stevie had my Veloster Turbo ready to drive away. Everyone I encountered at Van Hyundai was professional, especially Stevie and Matt. I would consult them again.

Fayez went above and beyond ALL expectations. While the Hyundai end of our purchase went incredibly smooth and with complete satisfactory, Fayez had to go beyond all expectations in dealing with my trade in and another manufacturer. He made all logistics completely convenient and came to me several times when additional paperwork was needed. I look forward to seeing him again in a few years when Im ready for my next Hyundai! In February 2012 I bought a used certified car from Van Hyundai for my 18th birthday....long story short I had a terrible experience...AT FIRST! After going through a sales man to try and express my complaint I got to the General Manger, Mr. Richard Lipsey and it was the best thing that EVER happened. I do not write many reviews even though I read tons. I strongly believe that this service deserves a review. It's really the least I could do for Van Hyundai after all they have done for me. Let me just also say to the reviews below that if you do not speak to the right person or even Mr. Lipsey himself it's not fair to blame one bad sales man on him. I know because thats EXACTLY what I did until I got to talk to him about how I felt about my sale. He cannot see every single thing going on at once. After talking with him I could feel that he really cared about how my experience and went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of from START to FINISH. I could tell he felt terribly about how upset on how I was treated on my 18th birthday and that it was ruined because something he didnt even know about because I never went to him for help... until a couple weeks ago. I would highly recommend this dealership to ANYONE I know. I just bought the car today and I honestly didnt believe it was true because there was no pressure or stress involved. It was like hanging out with a friend for a few hours and drinking nice hot cider (it was very cold today) and watching the game in the lobby. It wasnt the car buying experience I had the first time. If you have the lucky chance to go to this dealership I would ask to just at least say hi to Mr. Lipsey and that if youre having a bad experience and your thinking no one cares...I guarantee that he does. I stopped by the Dealership to look at the Hyundai cars, with no particular model in mind. However, while looking around a found one that perked my interest. Fayaz Keshavjee passed by and asked if I needed assistance. He was very polite and not a pushy sellsman. I told him of the car I was interested in and he invited me to a test drive. I did like it and we went back to Fayaz's desk to discuss the financials. I was still not committed until he offered me a great price, including a good trade-in value for my Oldsmobile. The total price fit im my budget and I agreed to buy the same 2013 Elantra I test drove. The features I liked include the performance, the styling, the color of the exterier and interior, and the sun roof. These were the elements that convinced me that I would like this car. I enjoyed meeing Fayaz and he has taken steps to indicate that he is available after the sale. In all, this was a very satisfactory transaction for me.

He talked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted, found the cars that would fit my budget and took the time to explain everything I needed to know about the vehicle. After doing that he also let me know that they could get me a better financing deal. He talked it over with management and got back me with. After only a few Minutes he assured me that I could indeed purchase the car at or under my set price. The time spent at Van was comfortable, quick and easy! I would defiantly purchase my next vehicle from Tom at Van Hyundai.

After looking at Huyndai's web site, the next day Steve Van Pelt called me to answer any question about the Elantra. I was more than satisfied to talk with someone that listened and was able to answer all my questions. Financing and options were very important. I felt as though everyone I spoke with at Van was working for me. And, the car I wanted was in stock. The numbers for my trade-in, options and payments became better than I expected. Felt very comfortable as soon as I walked in to the showroom. I had been contacted via the internet due to a search for a new vehicle. Casey was very friendly and informative insuring I was happy with my choice. There was no undo pressure and my concerns were mitigated immediately. This is my second car from Van Hyundai. The first one was some time ago for my daughter's first car. They are not the only dealers in the region, and certainly are not the ones closest to my home, but it is clear to me that they are dedicated, and willing to work with me as best as they can. Which is more than I can say for the others that I've tried, and I have tried them all! I would highly recommend the guys at Van Hyundai.

My husband and I bought a 2013 Elantra base model. We are very happy with it and with Fredrick our sales person. He was very kind and took time to show us what was available. We looked at a few different models and felt that the car we purchased was exactly what fit our situation. There was no pressure to get us into a higher priced vehicle at all. Steve called me in response to my web site visit at Hyundai. I was curious about the models, prices and accessories. Steve listened so well ,had all the answers and was so inviting that his invitation to visit the Dealership was encouraging. After veiwing and driving the Elantra, equiped as I had wanted, the E. was all but sold. Then Financing was negotiated to fit my budget. Any question of Product and terms was well satisfied. It all made me very happy to have had the opportunity and result. And that's what I'll tell anyone and everyone, given the opportunity, about that excellent experience.

I purchased my 2013 Sonata from Van Hyundai last month. Nathan was the sales associate that met me at the door. He was very kind and professional. I was looking at the new Veloster but due to the negative equity of my totaled car they fitted me in a vehicle that is actually more suited for my lifestyle. I know I needed a new car! But I could not bear the thought of parting with my 2005 Jaguar. I had looked at many dealers and drove many different cars in the process. It was the middle of August and I was discouraged and really tiring of this search process. The a good friend recommended that I go to Van Hyundai. What an experience I had that day. (By the way searching for the right car with the right deal as a woman is in itself often very difficult.) When I walked into the Van Hyundai dealership by several friendly hellos from their employees. I met a friendly, kind person by the name of Jakob who said, I have just the gentleman for you to talk with. His name was Eddie Frazier. He listened carefully to my story of what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. He then said, "I think we can work something out just for you". Off he went while I looked at some brochures about their cars. In a very short time, Eddie said, "I'd like you to see what I have picked out for you to see." Now I was surprised because what I had experienced before was walking through a lot with ME looking for something I liked. (I guess I was suppose to pick out a color I liked with that approach, after all I am a woman.)We walked out the door and their waiting was a beautiful car, a Genesis. He handed me the keys and off we went. What a ride-smooth as silk and even smoother than my Jaguar! OK, I was impressed. Then we got on the highway for me to see the pick-up which I had mentioned to Eddie earlier was important to me. As we "FLEW" down I35, I knew the pick up was fabulous - even to the point that I mentioned that I would need to be careful with my heavy foot. Now back to the dealer and Eddie carefully demonstrated all of the features, buttons and knobs. He DID NOT hand me the manual and ask me to read it, HE SHOWED ME HOW EVERYTHING WORKED. Then there was the wood, and leather!Within the next half hour, I had the perfect deal with special thanks to the owner of the dealership, Richard Lipsey. That's right when I had a question about the final price in I went to the TOP GUY! I now have a car that is exactly what I was looking for. Yes, I am sad that Star (my Jaguar) is gone, but JOY (my Genesis) has stepped right into her place - using regular gas not premium and getting 27 miles/gallon not 17! Now the funny part, I am a woman and the outside paint color is champagne and the interior is cashmere! What a perfect fit! Thanks Van for being the best, Katherine

We leased a new Sonata from this dealership last weekend and it was a great experience. In fact, we had mostly everything worked out prior to visiting their location (came from out of state). After talking with Brandon, Tom and Brian, we felt like they genuinely wanted to be helpful and we appreciated their straightforward approach. Nothing irritates me more than wasting time going back and forth with a salesperson about how high a payment we are willing to pay. We didn't get that at all here. We were at the dealership for just short of an hour and a half then on our way back home. Would definitely buy or lease from them again. Thanks guys!

Found a car on the internet that was at Van Hyundai. I bought my Tuscon there almost 3 years ago and have been very pleased. Went to the dealership, saw that the car was everthing it was advertised to be and we purchased it. The overall experience was excellent. All of the people at Van Hyundai are knowledgeable, respectful and courteous. NOw I have purchased 2 cars from this dealership and will always start there when looking for a car. New or Used. I have bought both.

I purchased a Hyundai Genesis Coupe from Mike Abelino located at Van Hyundai in Carrolton. The car was to be driven from Pharr, Texas. I was told by Mike, that the car would arrive within 5-7 days. I receive a call that the car is ready and told Mike I would go by to pick it up on Wednesday because of my work schedule. I was to meet him at ten thirty. I then receive a call from Mike at ten when I am already on my way he states that he is not at the location and to be careful that the car was in a wreck and for me to ask the dealership to find a new car instead of purchasing this particular vehicle because the driver ran over a box and cracked the bumper. He also tells me that I should not tell the dealership that he has informed me of this. I get to the dealership frustrated and see the vehicle in the parking lot with bird droppings and a cracked bumper. Frustrated that the car had arrived to them and had sat on the lot without being fixed or even detailed after the car was shipped in. I did not know what to expect from the sales person Josh as Mike told me they would try and sell it to me although it had been wrecked. Josh approached me and immediately stated that the car would be ready in a week. He did not introduce himself or let me know what was going on or even tell me the options I had in this scenario. At which point I simply stated get me a new car I want nothing to do with this one. He said, " I will see what I can do" and left me standing there. At this point my trust in this dealership had diminished. Mike strolled in as I was there and asked is everything ok...... I told him Josh was working on a new car. I then left the dealership frustrated and uncertain of when I would be expecting to hear back. After I left the dealership the first time. I had referred Cara Landry to Mike. This was before anything happen she purchased a vehicle and told me she too had an awful experience. Her grandfather, who co-signed for her, was treated unprofessionally by Mike Abelino. She said she would not return unless another representative would speak to her. Steve then helped her finalize the purchase. I then felt awful for referring a friend to an establishment of poor quality. I speak to about fifty-five people every two weeks at the salon where I have been working as a hairdresser for four years. I could have referred many people to your business but instead I will warn them so they do not have to go through what I went through. A week went by and I receive a phone call from Mike he states that the car is not available anywhere in Texas and that they cant find another car for me. I then state that if they were to reduce the amount they sell the car for as it has accrued miles and now a cracked bumper. Mike stated he would do what he can. I later receive a message from Mike and decided I would go in with my fiance. It was then when I ran into Cara who I had referred in. When we go in and talk to Mike he states that the best they can do is 500$ off because the car will sell off the lot at regular price. We tell him that is unethical and he replies with it is a hard car to find and the dealership has to profit. He then states that I should appreciate the fact that Josh has "busted his tail for me to get a new car". So my fiance asks for 700$ off and that we will purchase it. We make a deal and at this time it is late. Mike prints out the paperwork incorrectly. The purchase agreement reads Elantra versus Coupe. We point it out and he continues to reprint another document. They ran out of documents and he starts to cross out the Vin number. He states that I should change my insurance policy as the Vin for this car is different. We question why and he replies that instead of picking up a car from Pharr Texas they had went to a closer location. I ask why cant they try to get the other new car which has not been wrecked. He states that it had sold already. I feel frustrated that I was not made aware of this and that I had been paying insurance for a car that according to Mike Abelino had sold on another lot. Also that my documents are filled out with crossed out Vin numbers and missing gap insurance because they ran out of those documents. I then notice that they had only discounted four hundred dollars instead of the 700 dollars we agreed upon. He states that it is because the car has tinted windows so they deducted it from the overall car price. I then tell him that I recall that the car is not tinted?? Mike leaves and comes back to tell me that the car will be tinted. I ask if there are any rebates that could apply to the contract and he says that I do not qualify for them as they are for veterans and college graduates. I told him I was a veteran and he told me it was to late at that point to change the documents. I was the rushed out of the dealership and was told to wait another week before they would have the car ready.A week goes by and I call and ask if the car is ready. They say it is ready for pick up. I ask Mike to ensure that the documents are filled out correctly and that they have Gap insurance documents ready for me. I arrive and Mike says that the person who has my documents is having a baby..... He does not now where my file is!!! Then sarcastically states that,"If it makes you happy Susan I can print off some documents for you". I then accept and walk away in an attempt to regain my composure I cant believe that he cant understand the importance of filing out documents correctly and providing me with Gap insurance that I PAID for was too much to ask.... I walk towards the car and I realize that the paint on the hood has been eaten through and destroyed by the bird droppings that had been sitting on the car for weeks in 100 degree weather. Mike had walked out and as I bring it to his attention he states that it is only bird droppings. I then bring up that if it is left for too long it can eat through the paint. Mike then says that he will have the car detailed in a week and asks us to find the lobby Frederick then takes us to look at the manual book and instructs us on how to operate the Bluetooth. It was at this point that I wanted to take the car to another dealership and told Frederick that I do not want to speak to Mike at all. His level of unprofessionalism is incredible. Frederick was the only reason I allowed that specific facility to service my car again. Frederick arrived in Mckinney, TX and picked up my car to be detailed Tuesday. I then received a call that the car would not be ready for another day because the car mats were not there yet. I did not expect that the detail job would be overnight. I did not trust the facility keeping my car overnight. I had no choice but to wait. The next day Frederick advises me that the detailing team had not done a good job and that there still are some spots that need to be worked out. I demand that the car be worked on immediately and that I want my car because I do not trust what is going on....Frederick delivers the car we realize that the clear coat had literally been buffed off. There were swirl marks everywhere from the detailing crew buffing out the spots where the bird droppings had been. My fiance makes Frederick aware of this and states that the entire car hood must be wet sanded in order to work out the further damage the detailing team created with their aggressive buffing. Frederick assures us that this can be done that it will cost the dealership time and money....I then allowed my fiance to help me contact the sales manager and get to the bottom of this. The sales manager, Josh (who has been aware of all the above) simply states that he will have it in the shop first thing in the morning and his consolation was that he had been in the business for 17 years and has never been through this before.... I receive the car on Friday and it seems fine. This was an experience I wish to forget and honestly I do not know how this facility runs business. I will warn my customers of Hyundai and advise them to invest their time elsewhere. Even if your product is hard to find nobody will spend the money to go through this type of customer service

Worst place to buy a car pre - owned certified car. Their vehicle are not well inspected at all. BUY A CAR FROM HERE IF YOU ARE A MECHANIC OR KNOW ABOUT CARS IF NOT THEY WONT GIVE YOU THE BEST CAR. MY CAR THAT I BOUGHT FROM HERE HAD TIRES WELL THREADED BUT HAD CRAPPY WEARING INSIDE. WHEN I POINTED IT OUT NEXT DAY AFTER BUYING THE CAR THEY SAID IT WASNT THEIR PROBLEM ANYMOREMY FIRST RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE NOT GOING THERE. IF YOU DO, TAKE A MECHANIC OR AN EXPERT WHO WOULD KNOW ABOUT EVERY DETAIL ABOUT CARS. WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE. On July 4, I spent several hours in another dealership getting the "run around" about price of the vehicle I wanted and about my trade amount before I went to Van Hyundai. Eddie Frazier had contacted me previously about the CostCo program after I made an inquiry on line, but I chose to go to Allen Samuels Hyundai because of the proximity to my home. While at Allen Samuels, I called Eddie and spoke to him, we then left the other dealership and drove to Carrollton. We were in and out of Van in less than an hour, he gave me a better price on the car and for my trade. The transaction could have not been smoother. We will definitely buy from Van Hyundai and Eddie Frazier again.

This dealership has a very good procedure for new car sales. There was a discussion on what car we needed, the color, options etc.. Followed by a test drive. Then, came the price negotiation. Billy is the best car salesman that I had honor to work with. He was fast and to the point - knew exactly when a deal could be made. The experience was very present. We had shopped in other dealerships before we stopped at Van. Van is the best.

Promise time of car was 2 1/2 hours, didn't hear from anyone for 3 days when I had to call. Which calling and dealing with the receptionist was also terrible. Transfers you back to Service, where no one answers, bounces back to receptionist who doesn't say anything, just bounces you back to service where again, no one answers, bounces back to receptionist who then hangs up on you. Car went in for one thing, came out with a whole different issue because of their carelessness and now it's my fault to pay to fix it, when it was never an issue to begin with, until it's been weeks in their control. No phone calls get returned and if they have, no messages have ever been left. I will take my car sales, service, and recommendations elsewhere. I have never dealt with such poor customer service.

Walking into Van Hyundai I was skeptical, because my past experience of purchasing a vehicle had been comparable to getting a root canal....the professionals at Van Hyundai were nothing short of amazing! Brad Dechent housed myself and two small children in his office until we got the deal done. He provided candy gallore and entertainment to keep the kids occupied in addition to the reassurance that the deal will get done. Not only did the process go soooo smooth but we were in and out of the dealership in record time. I highly recommend going to Van Hyundai for all of your car buying needs. If you go make sure you get with Brad Dechent...even ask him to ride his little toy pony just for fun!!!

I had a great overall experience that led to buying two cars in less than a week. My 21 year son was buying his first new car and was planning to buy a Ford Focus or Honda Civic. He was looking for a car that would get great gas mileage with low out of pocket maintenance. Mom recommended we look at Hyundai before buying. We did not know anything about Hyundai. We called Van Hyundai on our drive over to see if they had cars in our price range. Richard Lipsey, Sales GM, answered the phone and met us in the parking lot as we pulled up. He introduced us to Tom Titus. Tom spent 30 minutes finding out about our needs and telling us about Hyundai before we even looked at a car. He put notpressure on us a any point and helped led us to the best decision. This played a big part in our decision buy buy from Van. My son ended up buying a 2013 Alantra GLS. There finance manager, Bryan, fiinsihed out the deal in a very professional manor. I was so impressed with Hyundai I traded in my wifes Audi A8L the next week and bought a 2012 Azera. I plan to be back later this year to look at the new Sante Fe.

I would recommend buying a new car at Van Hyundai. The salesman I worked with, Tom Chu, answered all my questions, let me test drive the 2 vehicles I was interested in, and was patient with me while I explored the new car market. Van Hyundai gave me a very good price on the Sonata I purchased, and I was treated very well during the new car buying process. I thought I was goig to get .9% financing, but learned later after already committing to the purcahse that I could get 0% financing because of my credit record. I think this shows Van Hyundai made sure I received the best deal possible.

Stevie was wonderful; however, my bad experience was with Brian. I was not given the time or the details like I should have been to have been able to make a good financing decision. I was talked out of buying the vehicle, and was told that leasing had a better percentage rate but was not given the rates to know ifthat was true. I was not provided with the information that if I add certain dollars towards the lease I could get my lease for $100.00 less than what I'm paying now. I was not told of my trade-in value until I specifically asked what was the lease/purchase price was and then was told a price that did not fully disclose all the additional cost. Now I'm being told that sales tax was assessed on full value of the car and if I purchase the car after the lease is over I am paying for sales tax again on the value at the end of the lease. I feel very betrayed and misled by your dealership. I am not proud of driving your car because of the way I was mislead by your finance group. I feel that I can not trust your dealership.

Unless you are looking to pay sticker price for a car with wear and tear, do not go to this dealership. They use a lot of "Bait and Switches" to get you into the door. I was told by Eddie Frazier, he would match a current promotion by another Hyundai Dealership. He refused to match when I got there. He also told me I would have to pay $1000 more for the vehicle because the online price was wrong. This Dealership does not belong to be in service with this horrible customer service.

I was allowed to take the car at lunchtime and take it back to work with me and then come back after work to finish the paper work. I am currently very happy with my purchase. I hope my Hyundai purchase lives up to the current reviews and ratings that I've been hearing and reading on the internet.

We are senior citizens and have purchased many cars over the years but we have never been happier after making a car purchase than the one we just completed at Van Hyundai. We were greeted warmly outside by our sale rep. Fayaz Keshavjee,we soon found him not only to be very friendly but also VERY professional He was patient with us and took time to understand exactly what we were looking for and needed ...with out any prssure he showed us our options ...He is very smart and knows his products....After the purchase,again with patience, he took the time to help us understand all of the features of the car and even paired up our garage door opener and blue tooth phones.He also showed us the service dept. and introduced us to Tommy Jordan , the service advisor (same impression=friendly and profesional)We also need to commend Bryan Hall, the finance manager. Initial experience with Van Hyundai was good. Eddie Frazier was very friendly and helpful. Very thorough explaining the car I was purchasing, especially getting in the car with my husband and I before we left the dealership, explaining the mechanics.However, after my husband and I left the dealership, I ran into a major snag. We used my 2006 Sonata as a trade-in, getting the cash back in the deal, instead of applying it to the purchase of the new Sonata. Originally, I was going to give my trade to Car Max, which gave me a generous offer. Van Hyundai said they would match their offer plus $2,000 (which was added in when negotiating the price of the car). They never gave any indication this might be an issue. They keep giving me the run around, saying this isn't usually done, etc. The other frustrating thing was it was really hard to get a hold of anyone. Always away from desk, with a client, or I left a message and never got a call back. Over three weeks later, my husband went back to the dealer and demanded either we get the check for our trade-in, or we will turn the car back in and get our trade back. Needless to say, we received the check a few days later.Lesson learned...never trade in my car again to a dealer. Will sell on my own, or go to Car Max!After all that headache, I am really enjoying my new 2012 Sonata! Would definitely recommend Eddie as a sales person, but make sure you get everything clarified once you enter the finance den!

I found Van Hyundai through the Costco auto buying program. I had initially tried to work with my local dealership but I was not satisfied with the deal they offered me. Eddie Frazier at Van Hyundai worked with me over phone and email to get everything in order for my purchase. He gave me every discount I qualified for and in the end, I was satisfied with the price. I flew in from out of town to take delivery of my vehicle. He picked me up from the airport that morning. He did a thorough job of explaining every feature of my new vehicle, insuring that I was comfortable with it. Because most things were in order before I even set foot in the dealership, the financing process was fairly seamless. I had about a seven hour drive home and Eddie called me later that evening to make sure I had made it home safely. The following day, he called me to make sure I was still satisfied with the car and to follow up in case I had any questions. I have never before experienced this level of customer service when purchasing a vehicle.

This is the closest Hyundai Dealership to my home, as I was shopping 5 other Dealers in the DFW area. Asked Stevie Van Pelt over the phone twice for best price on 2012 Santa Fe and to email it to me. He called to follow up on his alledged email. Never got it AS HE DID NOT LISTEN TO THE CORRECT EMAIL ADDRESS TO SEND IT. Gave him the email address again. 4 days later and still hadn't received it. Not only I am buying from Huffines Hyundai in McKinney, Van Hyundai has ALSO lost the opportunity for the Service business on my new Sante Fe for at least the next 5 years!

I had a 2003 Hyundai Sonata that I loved and never had a problem with but it was getting old and starting to look it. I have been putting off buying a new car for way too long because I was so dreading the car buying experience. Went to this dealership to take a look at a new Sonata and Tom Titus was the sales person I delt with the entire time. He showed me multiple vehicles that were in my price range and used no pressure at all in making a decision. After I test drove a few vehicles I left and did some research. I came back to test drive a different trim of the Sonata and purchased the vehicle that day. Tom was the best sales rep I have had a car dealership. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would reccomend this dealership and this sales person to anyone purchasing a Hyundai.

I was looking at a few different types of SUVs at several different dealerships when I went to VAN Hyundai. I had wanted to look at a Tuscon, and the sales associate was very friendly accomidating and knowledgible about the vehicle. He showed me several models, and then had me take a test drive. He worked with me all through the purchase process, financing and showing me the features of the SUV. He and everyone at the dealership was great!

Our first opinion of Van Hyundai was awful. Pushy Pushy Pushy! They were the only ones that had the car that we wanted, so we returned to them and gave it a second chance. Stevie was wonderful and low key. He looked to go the extra mile for us and loved doing business with him. I had brought my 2000 Hyundai Sonata GLS because the car had overheated and there were leaks from radiator hose. Initially the service department said they need to change couple of hoses and flush the coolant (estimate $500). After they did so, it was told that there is no compression on the motor and timing belt need to be changed(estimate $1100). Finally it was told me that my car engine is gone bad and i will have to put a used engine (estimate $3750).I declined the repair, paid $180 for the non-sense diagnostic done. Towed the car to nearest local mechanic recommended by friends. (Note the car was drive-able when i brought it there). Paid $350 for putting back what all the Van Hyundai Service had uninstalled, changed the radiator hose, serpentine belt (as the hyundai service had taken it off) and coolant.My car is now running fine. I'm not sure what's the reason Van Hyundai Service said my engine has gone bad. My assumptions:- > They are totally incompetent. > They wanted to rip-me off.Either way, I'm am grateful that no further damage was made to the car.

Every person I came in contact with was friendly without being pushy or condescending (no one asked to speak to my husband before I made the deal - - but they were nice to him when he came with me to pick it up). There were follow up conversations to notify us the status of the search (my car had to be brought to Texas from Mississipi to get all the features I wanted). Afterwards, I was contacted...again not pushy...to ensure the car was as intended. The sales manager told us that if we had any questions to feel free to contact him, since he had recently purchased the same car....and this model had only been on the market for a month(Veloster). I drove two hours to this dealership even though there is another dealer within 20 minutes of my home...it was well worth my time!

If you buy a used vehicle, even a "certified" Hyundai, from this dealer, be aware, it is YOUR responsiblity, to mke sure all the parts, like spare tires and keys, etc are included. In my opinion, a honest dealership would live up to the fine Hyundai vehicle standards and make sure you were aware BEFORE contracting in fair disclosure if something as basic as a second set of keys was or was not included. Very poor consumer relations. I would not reccommend doing business with them! When I asked for the second set of keys, their salesmanager all but cried saying I bought the car to cheap. Imagine a used car dealership losing out on negoiation with a mere consumer and I didn't even have a gun to their head when THEY AGREED to the price. Boo Hoo!!!!

They were friendly and nice and I didn't feel that anything wasn't totally open and on the table they way many new car deals are. Everything was explained fully and I could understand all the break-down of numbers from my trade-in / purchase. They gave me a fair deal on my trade and I feel condfident that I got a good deal. Plus, I totally love my new Elantra! I will be taking my car back for service appts and would highly reccomend Van Hyundai to anyone.

Walked in, was greated by a very happy, smiling face, told them my price range and one item that I couldn't live without on a vehicle (sunroof!) and they got me into a brand new Elantra, leather and sunroof for exactly the middle of my price range. Nice guys and BJ is great to deal with. Will be bringing my car back for any oilchanges, regular maintenance too. Highly recommend them.

We were handled like family from the time the first phone call was placed, until the last document was signed. You can tell this dealership cares about it's customers and community, from the dealerships location to it's sponsorship of the local baseball team. What we got was polite, professional, and knowledgable employees. There was no high pressure, and no price gimmicks. They got us the car we wanted (Sonata) and the price we wanted. The salesman and his managers were all very nice and made the whole experience very pleasant.

I am the type that doesn't like the high pressure sale tactics. The whole experience was quick, but relaxing all at the same time. Van Hyundai was the first Hyundai dealership I went to in the DFW and ended up being where purchased my vehicle. When I came in to test drive a 2012 Elantra for the first time, they respected that I was only looking and gave me an honest price quote. After a few weeks of visiting/calling/emailing every dealership in the DFW area, being jerked around and lied to, I finally came back to Van Hyundai. (My hesitancy came from lack of stock and had nothing to do with the amazing customer service I recieved throughout my car shopping experience). Anthony Salas was with me every step of the way and went out of his way to get me what I wanted. Unlike other dealerships, Anthony was in constant contact with me-checking in to see how my search was going and making every possible effort to get me in a vehicle. I never felt uncomfortable or on edge at Van Hyundai-I'd say these guys are are honest as you'll find in the area and they really are concerned with providing absolute customer satisfaction. Pricing was fair but the outstanding customer service was what won me over. Car was delivered clean and in a timely manner. Van Hyundai's ultimate focus is on customer satisfaction from the sales department, financing, and servicing. I would have to say in all my years of purchasing cars, this by far was the greatest experience I've ever had. My family tends to cringe when we have to make that dreaded trip to dealerships throughout the metroplex to find the best deal. To my surprise, when we arrived at Van Hyundai it seemed different. It was pleasant to see everyone smiling and the staff was very professional. We have done alot of research in the past six months in deciding what brand of car that our family would purchase. It was an easy choice in choosing the Hyundai brand. Not to mention, we have friends that have purchased Hyundai's at Van Hyundai in the last few years. Our Sales Professional Michael Abelino was recommended to us by a few friends that have purchased vehicles from him in the past. He was very attentive to our needs and we highly reccommend him if you want to make your buying experience as easy as possible. I had my vehicle towed into the dealership. The transmission oil was leaking out from the bottom of the car. The service dept call and said the transmission oil plug had fallen out of the car. This is were the issues start. The service rep stated that as the mechanic was putting in oil he saw it coming out at the bottom. Found the plug missing and installed a new one and filled the transmission and test drove it. The mechanic wrote that he was cleaning off the oil from the pan and saw the plug missing and installed a new one. Filled the transmission and test drove the car. The bill was for 1.5 hrs labor and 12 quarts of transmission fluid and a shop charge. I do not understand how it would take 1.5 hours to install a plug, fill with oil and test drive. The second is how does a 7 quart transmission hold 12 quarts of oil. Second what is a shop charge. I asked the sales rep and he stated that it was a standard charge for using the shop. Where would the mechanic work if not in the shop. About 20 minutes later I called back to ask the sales rep about the 12 quarts. He then stated that they actually did a flush and refill. I become concerned when what i am told keeps changing. The invoice states that the rate is 105 an hour. The total bill was $207 for 1.5hrs, 57$ for 12 quarts and $31 for a shop charge for a total of $302.31

I especially liked that they checked for and added upgrades to software when I went in for an oil change. I was a little unclear on when to do next oil change as sticker said 3500 miles and car manual says 7000 miles.

Stopped by on a Wednesday early evening, agreed on a price Thursday and picked up vechicle on Friday. Everyone I dealt with at Van was friendly & professional.

Eddie and the entire sales staff are awesome and easy to work with. The experience went better than I had anticipated. The entire process did take a long time to complete and with nothing to compare it too, maybe this is normal; but if I could suggest to somehow shorten the time needed to complete the transaction. THE SALES PEOPLE WERE GREAT. I DIDNT LIKE THE FINANCE DEPT. HE SAT DOWN WITH ME I GOT THE LOAN. HE TOLD ME THE PERCENTAGE RATE AND TOLD ME THAT I HAVE THE MAINT. AGREEMENT AND BODY PROTECTION. IT WAS $492 A MONTH ABOUT 1 WEEK LATER THAY CALLED ME AND SAID THAT I HAVE TO COME IN. I HAD TO SIGN ANOTHER BANK AGREEMENT AND HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WASNT ANY CHANGES A COUPLE OF WEEKS WENT BY AND I RECEIVED THE BANKSTATEMENT AND MY PAYMENT WAS $507 A MONTH. I WENT BACK TO THE DEALER AND THEY LOOKED ON THE TAPE AND SAID THAT THEY WOULD GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK THEY DID I KEPT CALLING THEM ABOUT THE MAINT. AGREEMENT AND BODY PROTECTION AND THEY FINALLY TOLD ME THAT THEY TOOK IT OFF BECAUSE THE BANK WOULDNT GIVE ME THE EXTRA MONEY.SO AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THE MONEY THEY GAVE ME BACK THEY MADE UP FOR IT BY NOT GIVING ME THE AGREEMENTS AND CHARGING ME FOR IT

I used the internet to find the car and negotiate the deal. I went to the dealership to close it. I dealt with Fazan. He was straightforward, knowledgable, and helpful both through email and in person when we closed the sale. He made attention to the details, and was meticulous in presentation and follow up.

Brought new 2011 Tucson for 3500 mile oil change & 27 point checkup. They informed me that I had a leak in my oil pan which they needed to fix within 24 hours. I would have to leave my car while they fixed the problem. I couldn't understant a new car that I have only had a few months needing a new oil pan! They fixed it and returned my car to me within 24hours at no charge. They advised me to return for my next oil change within my next 7000 miles.

I enjoyed working with all the Van Hyundai personell. They found me a car in Houston and made the car buying experience very pleasurable. The different aspects of the car were explained as well as the warranty, owners manual, etc. The finance manager was efficient and got me through all the paperwork quickly. I would definately recommend this dealership to anyone.

Service manager gives information on the phone, but when you drop your car off it is a different story. I told him I would have to wait for the car and he said that would be fine. When my sons dropped it off he told them that he had told me it would take 5 hours. I decided to pick my car up and not have the work done. Having made an appointment means nothing. He is extremely rude!!!

I always like to give kudos where they are deserved. My experience with BJ was top notch. He was not pushy, came across generally honest and upfront the whole time. (Took 3 hours start to finish)You always need to have the correct expectations when going to buy a new car. Sales people will use the same terminology that they all do like "Below Dealer cost" etc... as long as you understand that its a numbers game you will be fine. I will say that BJ got to good interest rate (My highest priority) for me and did it quick. He told me what he could and could not do and followed through on his promises. So I would recommend that you visit Van and call ahead for BJ, also remember that every car sold has the SkyTrack thinkgy for $500 that they will not remove (For me that was fine because my last car was stolen). Also don't be surprised of the sales manager up-selling you on a service contract. Although its not a bad deal, I declined it. All in all I was VERY happy with the whole process. I walked into this dealership without an appointment. I also walked in with an almost impossible situation. I was very upside down with my trade in which also was having horrible mechanical issues. I had to let go of the vehicle I originally wanted, but they were quick to get me into a wonderful car, get me all the extras, but most importantly out of the car I couldn't drive anymore all under the payment maximum I originally gave them. Prior to my visit today, I honestly probably wouldn't have gone. But from now on, I will always go back here!

We just purchased a new Sonata from Van Hyundai in Carrollton and had the best experience in purchasing a new car ever!!!!. There was no pressure, gave us time to think about the purchase and worked hard to get us the car we wanted with the amenities we wanted and stay within our price range. This dealership sets the standard for how customers ought to be treated with professional courtesy and service. Unlike the sales and haggling games usually encountered while shopping for an automobile (especially used), Mike Avelino led us through a decision process of narrowing the options to arrive at a good decision and fair price. We felt that the general sales manager was straightforward; and he was, in fact, directly accessible (not "that man behind the curtain"). Our purchase was late evening at the same time as a flurry of other sales, so when the vehicle could not be fully prepped for delivery (it needed a minor alignment), we were given a loaner until deliver could be taken at our convenience. This was a team effort. Kudos to Van Hyundai.

A truly amazing experience. They did not try to retire on one vehicle sale and really worked hard to make the deal work. Maintained a professional atttitude and stayed focused on what I wanted to accomplish in buying a new car. The got me the car I wanted at the price I wanted, all in one afternoon. Made the visit to the dealership due to a also great experience with my wife's car at the service department.

Dealer has plenty of car on site, and choice of colors,models,etc. Car was delivered in tip top condition. Make ready department did an excellent job on delivery of vehicle. No running out of the office to confer with management - which I would have walked out if that had occured. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!I went there to look for a 2009 Hyundai Elantra that was listed online, one of the sales rep came back and said they were sold out of 2009s. They were out of ALL the 09s!! The rep said he had a 2010 for $500 more. I thought ok, may be they are trying to hand me a more expensive car, but i will look at it. So we went for a 15 minutes test drive and I liked it. We came back and started negotiating on the price. Since this was the first dealer that I had gone to, I was just looking at a bottomline price and wasn't ready to purchase until I looked at other dealers too. I asked what was the best price he could give me. The sales rep (Steve Van Pelt) went back and forth from his manager's office and came with a price. When I said I would have to think about the price and would have to look at other dealers too, the sales manager (Kris Panagakis) came and asked us why we were not buying the car that night, i told him the same reason. Then Kris Panagakis started insulting us and shouting why we had wasted 1 hour of their time test driving and asking about the price. Then, he started yelling at us and told us to "GET OUT" . We were shocked !! Why would a sales manager, Kris Panagakis, yell at his customers if they were trying to negotiate a price ?? Then Kris went back to his office where there were other managers too. When we went to confront Kris Panagakis why he had mistreated us so badly when we were just looking at a fixed bottomline price. All the other managers that were in the office at that time started hounding at us and told us to "GET OUT" !! WTFIs this the customer service that Van Hyundai provides?? I was looking forward to buying the car if we could negotiate the price, but Kris RUINED the experience for us. I am never going back to this dealer and will not recommend it to anybody else!! NEGATIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

When I decided to stop in at Van Hyundai, I was pessimistic to say the least. I was buried in a car I disliked. I opened the front door and immediately ran int a salesman named Gary Gardner. I quickly and truthfully explained my situation to Gary. After some easy questions, we looked at their car inventory---got the info on each--- and then took a test drive. I picked the 2011 Elantra and I was easily sold. The car ran great and had the amenities I was looking for. After that things were pretty easy. Gary and Josh Kubicki gave me some options they thought might work for me and other info that was pertinent. Soon the price, financing, and trade-in was complete and, after Gary's explanation of how to use the options, I drove the Elantra away.During the entire time with Gary, Josh, or Greg (Foster), there was never any pressure. They assisted all they could with facts and options, but all the choices were mine. I bought the right car at the right price with a great trade in value from them. I understand Gary is not with Van Hyundai any more---which is too bad because he was a good, capable salesperson. Still, Van Hyundai is a great place to do business.

Having purchased/leased a number of vehicles over the years I am comfortable with the process, and familiar with the unsavory tactics that some automobile dealers engage in. In working with Gary and Josh we were able to quickly come to terms with a particular vehicle, the price and purchase terms. We went from start to finish on the deal in less than 2 hours.

While we were very pleased with both the level of service received and the quality of the Hyundai Genesis, we decided to select a different vehicle for other reasons.Freddie was extremely helpful and professional. He also showed interest by engaging follow-up activities with me (phone calls, emails) which is something we found alot of other dealers aren't doing. In some cases - a salesman never stepped out of the showroom to greet me and see how they could assist. With Freddie - he greeted us before we even stepped out of the car.We were also extremely impressed with the quality and competitive pricing of the Genesis. We felt it was indeed a better value than the other models we looked at (BMW, Lexus). Our decision for selecting another vehicle was the size of the car. We felt the Genesis was just a little too big for our needs and had concerns about the space in our garage.In the future, as our needs change, you can feel assured that we will consider Van Hyundai at the top of our list.

From the first moment I walked into this dealership (and I walked into 7 that day), I felt like a customer and not a "sale". I was able to state what I wanted, what I thought I could afford, why I was there in first place and never felt pressured. Everyone made me feel welcome and took great care of my concerns, answering every questions and even showing me how it worked. Eddie even learned through our experience together and I now keep a quarter with the spare tire so if I ever need to change it, I can get to the let-down mechanism. Finance worked with me to meet my financing needs and to get me a new car at a price I could afford. I got some extra warrantees that I might have missed without their help, and they know what I mean. Overall, Van Hyundai treated me RIGHT and never made me feel like I was there to make their day, instead I was there to make a great purchase and be happy with what I bought.Everyone at Van Hyundai has been exceptional and welcoming. Great sales, financing, and internet team!!

Everyone at the dealership tries to make sure that the customer is happy, satisfied, meet all of the customers needs and be as nice as possible doing it. The dealership even continued to work for me after I had signed my papers and was able to get a better APR on my loan and called me a week later to please come back in and resign the papers. That is above and beyond.
