Great Experience!When we called to inquire about a Ram truck we had seen on Vances website, we were very fortunate that it was Mike Byrnes who answered our call. Within four hours, Mike had answered all of our questions, put together a great deal, and called us back to make the offer, which we readily accepted. When we drove from Iowa three days later to meet Mike and finalize our purchase, we continued to be impressed with his dedication to making certain we were completely satisfied. We appreciated his friendliness, his honesty, and his persistence in settling an issue with Chrysler that would have cost us a large rebate. So thanks, Mike, for making this experience such an enjoyable and satisfying one!

In the end, I ended up at a dealership that had competent sales team members and got $1250 more on my trade than this sales manager "gave to me as a favor" and got a truck with better options for the same price.I live 3+hrs away from this dealership, so I worked with a salesman over the phone for close to a week to set the deal up and make sure that it would not be a wasted trip. On Friday I set up a noon appointment with the salesman for Saturday and informed him that I have *pre-approval from my bank* and also wanted to see what they could do in the financing department. Saturday morning I hit the road around 9am and texted him confirmation of that fact. He confirmed that it was good to go. I got a text from him when I was an hr out, confirming that I had the right address. Upon arrival, he came out a said that he has bad news and that someone else was running numbers on the truck, and we would have to see if they buy it first. ***They had been there over an hour and were there when he texted me about the address and he said nothing!*** He then informed me that he had taken the time to find another truck for me and if I was willing to wait at least 2hrs, he would go and get it. I looked at the specs on the truck and it was no-where in comparison to the truck that they had. I demanded to see the sales manager, who took over 5 minutes to come to the desk I was at. He was very nonchalant and only seemed interested in getting me in another truck. This lead to a verbal confrontation (that he did handle professionally) I demanded to speak to the owner, who couldn't be reached, but was messaged to make contact. I told him that I was going to take my kids to lunch and I wanted to hear from her or I was coming back. We ate and went back to the dealership with no contact. Upon walking back into his office, he informed that he had talked to her 20+minutes ago. This made me wonder why I hadn't heard from her even more. The sales manager that started talking about making it right for "inconveniencing us". I told him that I didn't want his money and that this wouldn't be solved with a tank of gas. I again asked why I hadn't heard from the owner, to which he said that was his fault because he said that he wanted to talk to me again. I asked him what he didn't understand about the fact that I wanted to talk to the owner. He then texted her and asked her to call me. 10min later she called me and was very apologetic and listened well to my rant. She wanted the chance to make it right, and asked if they could find the same truck somewhere and deliver it to my home. After more discussion I agreed. She then directed her sales manager to eval my trade. NOW, after all of that, you would think that they would be looking to make me a good deal on my trade. NOPE. the sales manager gave me a quote that was $1000 below KBB and $1500 below NADA trade values and told me that he was giving me that much as a favor. At this point I was done and called and informed the owner that he had followed her directions to make it right in the most offensive way possible and that we were done. In the end, I ended up at a dealership that had competent sales team members and got $1250 more on my trade than the sales manager "gave me as a favor" and got a truck with better options for the same price.

Had Truck Serviced at Turnpike numerous times,, No Problems what so ever,, Good work,, on time,, came out clean,, The only Concern is leaving keys in vehicle when finished & leaving vehicle unlocked !!!!!.. I prefure to be Handed the keys when vehicle is finished by the person being paid for services rendered... Much safer that way

It's interesting how one's opinion can change. I wrote the review about my Dakota. Now, I'm not very happy with Turnpike Chrysler about the issue with my other truck. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 4x4, 5.7 HEMI. I called a few days ago and checked on the cost of a transmission service. The cost ($170.00) was acceptable, and I scheduled this service. I also had the check engine light going on and off. I took the truck to O'Reilly's, and discovered I had a bad oxygen sensor. While at Turnpike, I asked them to check out the problem with the O2 sensor. I got a call a while later, and was told I had 2 bad oxygen sensors, and the computer needed an upgrade. They gave a price. Thinking this included the cost of the transmission service, I said go ahead and do it. Then I went to pick up my truck, and the bill was almost $500.00. I was given a price of $285.00 on the phone. Apparently, this number was for the replacement of the 2 oxygen sensors and the computer upgrade. I balked at this number, and questioned it. That's when I was told the price given did not include the original $170.00 for the transmission service. I am extremely unhappy about this, as I certainly was not counting on spending this amount of money. I'm not a wealthy person, and this almost wiped me out. I hope I have no other emergencies for a long while, since thanks to this bait and switch, I certainly can't afford it.I can't knock their service, as they do excellent work. My truck runs great. I just wish they had taken the time to let me know the ENTIRE amount before I agreed to the work.

I own a 1994 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab pickup. I began having transmission problems, and decided to take it to Turnpike to see if they could diagnose the problem. They ran it through a series of tests, at no cost to me, and determined I had a bad clutch pack. We discussed the price for a complete transmission rebuild, and then scheduled it for service. It only took a few days to get my truck back. It did great for a day or two, then it acted up again. It went back to Turnpike, and they gladly got back into it. This time it was a bad torque converter, which they replaced at no cost, since it was under warranty. This took another few days. I got my truck back again, and the transmission operates flawlessly. They also discovered an issue with my cooling fan, and fixed that, as well as the transmission cooler lines. They juggled the cost of labor, and even "ate" some of it, to get the price to come out to what we had agreed on. With service like this, when it comes time to buy my new Dodge Challenger I want, I am definitely going to Turnpike Chrysler/Dodge.
