They lye and cheat. On a new car purchase they would only give $11,000 on a trade for a Car that was book valued at $16,000 trade. I told them they would clean the car up and put it on the lot for $19,999. The used car manager said that would not happen. Well they did just that. The car was on their website 10 days later at $19,998. At most they put $2000 into the car to prepare for sale. I can see making 1 or 2 thousand profit on a trade, but not $7000. That is only a little away from stealing.

Took my truck in on Monday for an oil change and tire rotation. Having over 100,000 miles there were several items that were recommended to be replaced and once they got into the service work they identified some other potential concerns so I had them fix them also. It cost more than I wanted to spend this time around but also knowing I have some longer trips coming up I don't need to be stranded somewhere with issues. Very satisfied with the work and attitudes of everyone.

I had a 9:00 appt to look at the front bumper which was loose. Ron showed me the problem and said he could make time to fix it right away so I would not have to schedule another trip. 25 mins later the bumper was fixed, I had paid the very reasonable bill and was driving out of the building. Super customer service!!!!

So if anyone is planning on getting any service done on your vehicle DO NOT take it to Vande Hey Brantmeier. This is the interaction that I just had with them. I have a 06 Buick Lucerne that has 150,000+ miles on it. It is a good car and hasnt had really any major repairs needed. It has had an intermittent coolant leak for a while. It would leak a bit and then stop, leak then stop. So finally I decided to have it looked at. I was going to be in Sheboygan on Friday July 29th for work so I dropped the car off at a dealership to have them test it. They informed me that it was the Timing Belt Cover Gasket that was leaking. This is a big job that involved tearing the side of the engine off and dropping the oil pan as well. I asked if they had time to fix it seeing that I was going to be going to Indianapolis the following Thursday on vacation. They did not, so I called Vande Hey Brantmeier in Chilton to see if they could fit it in. I have had service done there before that seemed fine. There prices werent great but they werent bad either. They could get it in on Tuesday, August 2nd. All was good, so I thought. I get a call from them Tuesday morning informing that it was not the Timing Belt Cover Gasket it was the Intake Manifold Gasket. GM is known for their leaky Intake Manifold Gaskets, which was not out of the question either. But at that time I questioned and challenged their service manager to confirm that the Timing Belt Cover was not leaking and he swore that it was not. Okay well I needed fixed, so I told them to go ahead. $680 and late Wednesday afternoon later I get my car back, being assured that it was tested and good to go. Thursday I drove down to Indy and parked the car in the parking lot of the hotel and didnt touch it until Saturday morning. Saturday morning I check it and notice the coolant was a bit low in the overflow tank. I fill it, just attributing it to not properly burping the system. Drove back from Indy and on Sunday morning checked it again and again it was a bit low. Again fill it, and continue to monitor it. Again Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday a bit low and I filled it. Thursday coolant is now pouring out of the engine. Friday I call Brantmeier and they tell me to bring it in on Tuesday August 16th. Take the car in and receive a call later in the morning informing me that the Timing Belt Cover Gasket is indeed leaking. Thats right; the original problem that I took it there for, but was told and assured was not the issue. Well they gave me a deal and fixed it for $390. I was not happy about this. But I needed to get it fixed so go ahead and do the work. This time it took them until Thursday August 18th to finish the work. Again I get the car back with guarantees that the car was pressure tested, test drove, and all the fluids were topped off. I decided to check it Thursday, only to find that the overflow tank was completely bone dry and the cap was open. I had to put over a half a gallon of coolant in my car before it was full. So that is now a gallon of fluid since getting the car back from them the first time. I contacted their General Manager Justin Brantmeier about this and he was going to talk to the service manager and the technician about it. The following day I notice that the front shield that is behind the front clip is hanging down. I had a few years ago, tore the lower molding strip off in the winter on snow bank, which slightly damaged the front clip. It wasnt anything major so I decided not to repair it. But the shield was secured in place even with the minor damage. I called and inform Justin of this as well and he told me that he talked to Jim the service manager and the technician about the situation. They swore that everything was tested, checked, and topped off before my vehicle was given back to me. I informed him that it wasnt possible for them to pressure test and drive the vehicle for 15 miles and then check it again for them to not see that the vehicle was low on coolant. It is just not possible. Basically the conversation boiled down to them one; never admitting they made a mistake and 2 it was clear that my money, now almost $1100 was more important to them then me being a satisfied customer. I had contacted a number of other dealerships in the Appleton and Sheboygan areas and asked them what they would have done in the same situation and the answers ranged from the second repair being free, only paying for parts for the second repair, to a discounted rate for the second repair. To add insult to injury, I finally checked the oil in my vehicle this weekend to fine that the dipstick was broken. I found that after I had to repair the front shield that was hanging down under the car because the broke the front clip even more as well as not putting some of the body clips that hold the shield in place back in.So in total this coolant leak cost me:Just shy of $1100 to their service department (also 5 business days for roughly 11 hours worth of repair work I know this because I got the times for the repairs from another dealership)A gallon of coolant (my cost)30 minutes and $5 worth of clips to repair the front shield (my cost and time)$15 for a new dipstick (my cost)In conclusion, DO NOT take your vehicles to Vande Hey Brantmeier for repair, and I would also recommend not buying a vehicle there either.

I was so pleasantly surprised at the great selection of used vehicles that Vande Hey Brantmeier had to choose from. My husband Glen and I had been looking for an SUV and we went to A LOT of dealerships in search of the perfect vehicle for us that was within our budget. Then we thought to come to Chilton and see if this small town dealership had anything to offer..what did we have to lose? We noticed there wasn't an over abundance of used vehicles on the lot, but, what we did see was quality with a great price tag! We met with Jerry Halbach, who, by the way was very easy to deal with and the next thing we knew, we had a beautiful 2013 Chevy Equinox! Our family is a proud GM Family. My parents and uncle own Buicks and my brother and I both own GMC vehicles. In all of the vehicle purchases we have NEVER been so upset and frustrated. My wife and began our search for a replacement for her leased Lexus which is due in May. There is a particular Buick Enclave package we were looking for and found 8 within a 300 mile radius and began getting quotes on leases. After almost taking a 4 hr trip from Madison, WI to Minneapolis we found the vehicle at Vande Hey Brantmeier GM and began working with Jerry Nell. All request have stated we were "looking for a 39 month with 10,000 miles per year lease and trading in our lexus with $5k equity." There was also a $3k rebate because we had a leased Lexus. After giving Jerry our Vin number and multiple emails and a conversation explaining the purchase option we were quoted $370-$390 on a 39 month lease using our $5,000 equity as down payment. This was the best deal we heard and quickly cleaned out our car and packed up our 2 young children for the almost 2 hour drive to the dealership. Upon arriving we met Jerry who showed us to the Enclave and let my wife and I both test drive it while he test drove the lexus. After several exchanges of information I went into the office and met Justin Stambuk. The number he now gave me was about $390. He then told me that he was figuring the deal with our trade in (only giving us $1,500 in equity) and $5,000 CASH. I clarified all discussions and emails (which he had) between myself and Jerry only mentioned the estimated $5,000 equity (as I know that is not valid until trade in is seen) and nothing about cash. He asked Jerry if we had discussed cash down and not a response from Jerry at which point he left (never really saw him again). Justin and I went back and forth on where he was getting any indication from the emails that cash was part of the deal. After discussing options with different rebates and credit union discounts he was still requiring us to put down $5k to get under $400. I offered a final deal of $1,000 down and $425 per month with our trade in but of course Justin did not agree. Extremely frustrated we quickly packed up our kids and left feeling extremely cheated and lied to. I do not recall a apology at all or seeing Jerry again after the disagreement began. I then received this email which I HOPE is a automated reply; "Brent,I just wanted to thank you for coming in today and allowing me the pleasure of helping you with your vehicle-buying decisions. If I can do anything else for you, please let me know. Here is some additional information on the vehicle you looked at today.Jerry Nett " I surely hope that if we do decide to continue considering Buick we will have a much better experience at another dealership.

We are from out of state and found our truck on line. We hit the jackpot for great people to work with on our adventure. The saleman we were connected with was Josh Shymanskiu. He did a great job of sending pictures and explaining every detail about the truck. There were no surprises after traveling over seven hours from Iowa. I have purchased a chevy colorado four years ago and Jerry Nett helped me out in the process of buying that truck. He is a great salesman and looks for your best interest and is honest, he also has called me and sent letters in the mail to make sure the chevy was working good and up to expectations. Because of the excellence service I have recieved there then, this is the reason why i went back there today (four years later) to trade in the chevy colorado for a chevy trailblazer due to the fact my family is now expanding. I feel their prices are reasonable and they also have a mechanic shop there incase something goes wrong later on with your vehicle. Since Jerry helped me out before I wanted him to help me out again in getting a used trailblazer. I have recieved the same great customer service and when the turn comes for another vehicle down the road I will check out, Vande Hey Brantmeier first. I had been having my vehicle serviced at Vande Hey Brantmeier for the last couple of years with outstanding service. I was finally in the market for a different vehicle and Vande Hey Brantmeier was the only place I wanted to look. I emailed Jerry Nett a couple questions about a few vehicles I was interested in. His response was prompt and we worked out a time for me to take a test drive. I loved the vehicle and was able to work with Jerry to drive the vehicle home over night so my husband could also take a look at it. Where else will you find a dealer that would allow that? Jerry trusts his customers as much as we trust him to find us the right vehicle at the right price. All my questions were answered and we arranged a time to sign the papers and drive the vehicle home. Customer service is very important to me and it seems a lot of businesses no longer know what it means to provide good customer service but just want to make a quick sale. With Jerry at Vande Hey Brantmeier, I received OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Puts a smile on my face to know in this small town of Chilton, people still care about their customers. After the sale: I received a call from Jerry within a week to find out how everything was going and if I had any questions or concerns. There was one minor issue and we will be taking care of that when I take the vehicle in for the first oil change after purchase. He truly cares about his customers. I also received a letter in the mail thanking me for my business and reminding me to call if I needed anything. Service department: Since I purchased my vehicle at Vande Hey Brantmeier, I got an ongoing coupon for money off every oil change! An extra bonus since I had already been getting my oil changed at the dealer. My husband and I were looking for a new vehicle for a couple weeks, and we learned that a Kia was at this dealership. We looked at it, and Jerry Nett was kind enough to let us look in it and test drive it. We had said that we were just looking and not interested in buying at the time. A couple weeks later, we had seen some Ford Edges on the lot and test drove one of those and drove the Kia again. We still didn't buy deciding to look at our options and reviews about these vehicles. We at least wanted to know how much payments were going to be to see if we could afford a new vehicle. We finally bought the car, and so far we love it.

It was a pleasure to work with Jerry Nett (Sales Leasing Consultant) and John from Finance during my recent purchase of an Acura TL. I live about 70 miles from the dealership but decided to make the drive based on the description of the car that Jerry provided. I arrived at the dealership and jerry's description of the vehicle was "spot on." I decided to purchase the vehicle and Jerry and John make the buying experience pleasurable. When the last time you heard that when purchasing a vehicle. I should mention that one of the owner's son who works at the dealership got involved in the process to make sure that we could arrive at a fair and equitable price on the vehicle. I would recommend that you call Jerry Nett if you are looking for a new or used vehicle and have him assist you in locating the vehicle that you need. I will definitely have them on my list of top Dealerships to visit the next time I need vehicle. I always held the Berstrom dealerships in high regard but Vande Hey Brantmeier may have just eclipsed this strong competitor.

Vande Hey lived up to my expectations throughout the leasing process. My consultant was Jerry Nett. His approach was respectful, reassuring, and I felt no pressure. He laid out the facts very plainly to me so I was able to make the correct choice for me.

Jerry found us rebates we would never known existed. He was courteous informative and honest. we will definitely be going back. This was the best vehicle buying experience we have ever had.

Vande Hey Brantmeier made my first truck buying experience a pleasant one. Jerry Nett and the rest of the workers at Vande Hey made me feel welcome and answered any questions I had. They addressed all my concerns that I voiced to them appropriately and now I am the proud new owner of a 2010 silverado. I would recomend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle, new or used and would recommend Jerry as a salesman any day.

I have had the pleasure of purchasing two vehicles from Vande Hey Brantmeier. After a great deal of searching and visiting many dealerships in the area 11 years ago, I found a for a new car at Vande Hey Brantmeier. I was treated with a great deal of professionalism by my salesman, Wayne Thome. He led me through the maze of car shopping with a great deal of care, and made the experience fun!! During the time I owned this Pontiac Grand Am, the service department was SUPERB!! Jared Nelson and the service manager and technicians were just a phone call away. No question I asked was ever stupid, and they were unbelievable helpful!! When the time came to purchase a new car, Pontiac was no longer available. I again searched for a new car, but in the end I chose a Buick Lacrosse. Not only did I like the car, but I wanted to stay with Vande Hey Brantmeier because of the excellent service I received. A week after the new car was purchased we had a terrific hail storm. A great deal of damage was done to the new car, but the body shop at Vande Hey Brantmeier was extremely helpful. Thanks to Ron, I will have a vehicle that looks like new!! I would easily recommend Vande Hey Brantmeier to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. They practice what they preach...they are a different dealer...they are a friend!!!

I was looking for a used low mileage Hyundai Sonata 2.0T which arent that easy to come by. I found my car at VHB and traveled to Chilton from Green Bay. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the dealship was. The salesman and the Manager were professional and easy to work with. I feel I got a good deal on the car and I'm very happy with my purchase. If you're looking to buy a new Chevrolet or a Jeep and havent checked out VHB I would recommend doing so, you probably wont be disappointed.

On our salesman- Jerry Nett - We have purchased 2 cars from him, and always have excellent service,. He keeps in touch with us periodically to let us know of new vechicles that come in that we may be interested in. This shows me he really knows his customers, and takes good care of them. I would give him a 5 star rating on customer service !!!!!

This week I purchased a 2013 Chevy Equinox from Jerry Nett at VandeHey Brantmeier in Chilton, WI.I have been dealing with Jerry for years and he is exptremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He found the exact model I was looking for in 1 day. I was trading in a 2008 Chevy and needless to say, car technology has changed tremendously. Jerry got me through all the training and off I was in my new vehicle.

Rick was always available to answer my questions prior to visiting the dealership and had incredible patience. Vande Hey Brantmeier had thoroughly reviewed the used car I was interested in and took the extra steps to make sure it was road worthy and would not require any maintenance after purchase. The dealership was also able to beat my credit union with a lower interest rate! All the employees were extremely attentive and easy going. I would certainly recommend Rick and Vande Hey Brantmeier to anyone for their impeccable customer service.

I worked with Justin Brantmeier on a recent car purchase. I originally started looking while living in Milwaukee and Vande Hey Brantmeier came highly recommended from a friend who had purchased a car there in the past. During the window of time that I was looking for a new car, I was transferred down to Phoenix, AZ. I thought I would just start looking locally as it would be much easier than to deal with talking half way across the country. Boy was I wrong, the folks at Vande Hey Brantmeier provided the highest level of service with daily/weekly updates for the car I was still searching for. They knew exactly what my wants/needs/budget were and they ended up finding me the perfect car. It was EVERTHING I wanted. I thought I had the budget for a slightly used car, and they worked the system for me to ensure I received every discount, rebate, and anything else I could qualify for, they found me the right opportunity to put me in a brand new automobile because it made so much sense. They even took care of finding a reliable, inexpensive car transport company to get my car down to Phoenix from Chilton. I am now the proud owner and even more proud - DRIVER of a 2012 Chevy Tahoe. To Whom it May Concern; Lee and I would like to thank Wayne Thome, Sales and John, Finance, for their assistance with the purchase of our new 2012 Chev. Cruze Eco. We can't believe the power, comfort and most importantly the mileage this vehicle provides! Having sold cars before, I THOUGHT, I knew what to expect. Jeff greeted me immediately and welcomed me to the dealership. I never felt pressured. Jeff introduced me to Wayne and I explained to him what I wanted. I had already done my homework and knew exactly what I was looking for, but had never experienced the car for myself. Wayne took me on a test drive and I was immediately sold! Wayne did seem a little shocked that I was looking for the 6-speed MANUAL transmission instead of the automatic. I know most people have forgotten how to drive the manuals, especially females. But even though my husband's name is on the title, it's MY car. I do the most driving and with my 2007 6.0L V-8 400HSP Trailblazer SS, I only averaged 12-15MPG. This Cruze is a blast to drive and so fuel economic. I LOVE it. Wayne was so polite and courteous. He wasn't the typical Car Salesman that I had experienced many times before. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for someone to actually listen to their needs and support them through the buying process. As far as service, we own a body shop and probably will not use the service dept aspect except for warranty related issues or mechanical issues beyond our control. The service manager was very polite and he understands our situation and respects that as well. Thank you for a job well done!
