He also took the time to make sure everything was setup properly from syncing cell phones to ensuring we got a full tank of gas. Celene was great to work with as well. 5 STARS all around. I came into the dealership to discuss financing a new car as a first time buyer. Tom Smith was more than wonderful and walked me through the entire process from the test drive all the way to driving it off the lot. He is personable, remained patient and even took the time to teach me features of the car. Jon in finance was also great to work with and explained everything I needed to know. I bought a vehicle from this Dealership won't happen again, not happy at all called a week later wanted to return vehicle even willing to lose the money I put down didn't want the hassle of cancelling. I bought a vehicle from this company and 1 week later had transmission issues. What a great dealership, you're mechanics are the best! Took it to my guy and he knew right away the problem. Please don't waste your time with this Dealership!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our salesman Tom Smith was extremely kind and patient throughout the entire process. The manager and finance dept. were easy to work with when it was time to sign the paperwork. They even stayed after closing to make sure we could take the vehicle home that night. Added bonus- the Taos comes w/ an emergency roadside kit that came in handy when Tom couldn’t get the license plate off our trade w/ a regular screwdriver. After numerous attempts Tom suggested the kit, which included pliers that my husband used to muscle off the rusted screws. Definitely no regrets purchasing from Volkswagen of Reading.

Came in to talk about leasing. Told them right away I already had car loan so my score was low. Took us for test drive and let us take home a new one for the night. Came back in today, NOW they are running my credit score making it even lower with inquires to know what I already knew that it was low and now still want me to give them thousands down on a used one. When you come in and ask questions they need to give you all the info up front. Scam artist at their finest!

I really like their approach to used cars... selling them at very reasonable rates instead of sending them to auction. I got a low mileage 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited fully loaded for about 2500 less than what everyone else was charging. They processed the sale quickly and got me in the car and on my way.

Let's be honest. I'm lazy and don't feel like changing my own oil which was the purpose of my most recent trip into the dealership. Honestly, I just don't want to deal with crawling under the car, dealing with the hot oil, messing with the filter and so on. Just easier to give it to these guys and it's not much more expensive than if I were to do it myself. It's roughly $20 more which, like I said, is worth it.Plus the fact that you get service history which makes it easier if by chance there were some issues.They always get me in when I ask for service. Recently had a wheel bearing go out due to hitting a curb when someone cut me off. They got the car in the same day, replaced the wheel bearing, aligned it and back into my hands by the end of the day. Can't ask for better service. Thumbs up guys!

Yes people are not fond of dealerships. Well from my experience over the years I don't think I have never dealt with a dealership as nice as Reading VW. The last two months I have been dealing with an issue with my 2015 Jetta and they have taken care of the car and myself very well. Highly recommend this dealership to everyone I know looking for a VW or just needs service on their VW.

My VW golf has 145K and 20 years behind it. It has performed nicely through the years. Because of it's age I worry when away from home. While stationed near this Reading dealership and needing regular/higher maintenance, I scheduled and recieved service . The individual attention to my specific concerns was outstanding. Jason not only listened patiently as I asked questions, he drove the car with me so I could explain my questions in non technical terms. All answers came via phonecall the same day as promised. The car is still going strong.The experience at Reading service gave me peace of mind---priceless. Thanks Jason and Team.

Recently I had to take my Jetta in for service after hearing some strange noises. Jason kept me updated on what was going on with my car and set me up with a loaner car so I could still commute to work. It turned out that my car didn't need too much service and I was able to pick it up the next day. I've been a customer here for 10 years and I've been pleased with the service. I've been dealing with this dealership for many years from maintenance on my 1998 Beetle and then purchased on my 2013 Beetle. The experience I had was always great. But I have recently come to find it was due to the fact that they were getting MONEY not that they had great customer service. My 2013 Beetle was totaled in an accident. Of course, during my car shopping I went to their dealership to see what they had available. But nothing was there I liked, so I went with a different type of car, for a change. They had to assist with finalizing the totaling process of my vehicle and they made it A NIGHTMARE. Took forever to process paperwork. Stated they were processing paperwork and never did. Up until this experience, I would have returned to them for future vehicle purchases and recommended them highly to anyone looking for a VW now, I would NEVER recommend them. The sales people were rude when I stated I decided to go elsewhere. The office manager and controller had an attitude when I was trying to get the information from them to finalize the totaling process and reimbursement of my warranty. If I get another VW it will NOT be from this location I will gladly travel elsewhere.

This was the third new VW we have purchased from Reading VW. Blaine Hassler and Jeff Hard were awesome as usual. I always tell Blaine that I will never by a VW from another dealer because of how awesome VW Reading is and I have kept my promise. Working with Jeff and Blaine is unlike any other dealership I have worked with (and I buy a lot of cars). They are both car guys and their knowledge of the products they sell is endless. Add to that that they treat me like family and it is a no-brainer why I always return to VW Reading. Thank you Jeff and Blaine for being patient with me and making sure I got the car that was PERFECT for me. You guys are the best! I highly recommend these guys and Reading VW. It is a rarity to have such a good/no pressure experience buying a car these days.

Was looking all over for a WV JETTA SPORT IN WHITE WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION. Well just one call and I had my car by the end of the day. They had it brought in from Philadelphia because it was a hard match to find, but they did it! The price was the best around and the service was great. They made us feel like family and you will know the difference once you purchase your vehicle from them. Would not purchase from anyone else again and this is my third WV.

The service department was outstanding in helping us replace our damaged key and repairing the door lock. They even went the extra mile after learning our daughter was about to move out of state to start her new career. They checked the fluids and tires and provided us with a review of the car and recommendations to keep the car running in good condition. Great Experience!!

My 2006 Volkswagen GTI had corrosion spots on the right front fender and the rear hatch door. After meeting with Wanita and Tony to inspect the car, Volkswagen stepped up and decided to repair the problem under warranty. While my car was in the body shop, I was provided with a 2015 Golf TDI loaner car. Scott Lasher called me to let me know my car was ready to be picked up, and I was very pleased with the work they did. He was very helpful. Ally Stout was in touch throughout the process to make sure I was happy with the loaner car. Everyone did a great job. Everyone deserves a thumbs up for a jib well done.

Had to take car back because they forgot to add blue to the diesel. Even though it was an oversight, their handling of the quick fix was comsistent with their good service and there was no charge for the service or material. In and out in twenty minutes.

Scheduled service two weeks in advance, for 60K service and PA Insp. Loaner car was provided, Ally was wonderful in arranging everything to be done by 3:00 PM the following day for pick.. No surprises, professional work done on vehicle.. No complaints with the 2013 VW Jetta TDI Sportwagen's performance and economy.. Went into the dealership looking to buy a new car for my girlfriend. We had about a $300 a month limit to spend. Talked to Jason for awhile and looked at a couple of different cars. Anywhere from a fully loaded GTI to the base model Jetta. We decided that the base model Jetta was the way to go for our budget at the time. Jason went over all possible options with us but never forced or pressured us it to any avalible options. We ended up going with the base Jetta and he kept us under that $300 limit. Over all it was a great experienc. Everyone was very knowledgeable about their products and their competitions. Very honest dealership I must say. Thank you again Jason for helping us out will definitely be back when it's time for me to get a new one.

We happen to stop by Volkswagen Reading last week, ended up trading our car for a new convertible Beetle diesel. What a service, Jason was awesome. I really enjoyed the friendly service that was provided to me while my car was at the dealership for a new clutch. They worked with me to make sure that I would get it back in a timely manner and made sure that I was happy with the end result. While my car was in for repairs they provided me with a courtesy VW Beetle R-Line, which I must say was not only a relief but an enjoyment. They made sure that while I didn't have my own car to drive that I would have at least something nice to drive in the mean time. What especially surprised me was how fast they were able to get my car fixed and back together once parts came in. Can't complain with how the whole situation worked out and I definitely won't be afraid to bring it back for future service or repairs.

I do NOT recommend buying a car from this dealership. Not only are they not friendly, but they are completely incompetent.My husband spoke to this sales team inquiring about a car on their lot. He wanted to get confirmation on the availability of the vehicle to test drive/purchase a DAY in advance of making the hour and forty five minute commute to the dealership. The next day, when we arrived on the lot, we were told (unremorsefully and unapologetically) that they drove that car to a lot 2 hours away THAT morning. Apparently this place doesn't like selling cars.To make matters worse, the manager didn't even come out to apologize or talk to us, nor did our salesman!! They had the guy that drove the vehicle to the other location break the news to us. Terrible customer service and no respect or consideration for their customer's time.I hope this was an unfortunate one-time circumstance for them, because otherwise, I don't know how their business makes a dime!

During my visit they kept me up to date as to the time it would take to complete my service and offered my refreshments. I had to bring my 2012 gti in for some warranty work. And it ended up being that i needed to get a new motor for my car. Everybody that I delt with was very nice and very helpful. Everybody answered all the questions I had and never couldn't answer a question. I also would like to take my hat off for Amber the service mechanic that worked on my car. It is safe to say without a doubt she busted her xxx to get my car done asap. Even though she had to put two different motors in the car. She did it quickly and the car feels and runs better than the day I bought it. So I would like to thank her as well. And I will more than likely be bring my car to the dealership for all service work and be requesting Amber.

The reason I gave the ratings I gave is because I received a very cordial welcome on my first visit and on all previous visits. This is noteworthy to me, because I purchased my used VW Routan at the Masano dealership on Route 61. The rattle and seatbelt buckle appear to be fixed. Only VW could and had to fix these issues.

Amazing service as usual. Even though I bought my latest VW at another dealer, my previous experience at Reading has me loyal to their service department. Nate is very knowledgeable, friendly and always provides in depth answers to all of my questions. Even though I have bought at other VW dealers, I wouldn't go anywhere else for service.

I had a very good impression leaving my car. I received a call to keep me up to date with other issues I wanted to have a quick look, I appreciated the call. They also told me I would get serviced for a recall on my model's gas pump and so far I am getting better mileage so i am ecstatic. They told me they would include a courtesy wash and was delighted. Everything was good until I jumped on my car and noticed that whoever performed the state check had to pull out my insurance information from the front compartment and did not put it back.

Had the car for two days and noticed a leak from the windshield washer fluid. Called my sales guy Darrell and he let service know right away. Took it into service they took care of the problem quickly and also washed my car. I give a high five to my sales guy. Also, when Darrell my sales guy was going over the car with me he did notice the windshield fluid was low and filled it for me. So far very happy with overall experience.

Everyone involved with my purchase my the entire process fast and easy. Jessica also went the extra mile to have must of the leg work done so I could come in sign and get my new car without having to sit and wait for all the forms to be started from scratch on the day I purchased the vehicle.

This was my first time at VW Reading, and it was the best experience I've had at ANY VW dealer anywhere, especially in Pennsylvania. Everyone is very helpful and professional, the waiting areas clean and comfortable (and with water and coffee). The service was done while I waited, in the time promised and done well, and my car washed. My VW is 11 years old and wasn't purchased at VW Reading, but that didn't seem to matter to this business, as it seems to at other VW dealers. Highly recommended.

From the time we first,waked,into the door, Jessica was very friendly and helpful. After we purchased our Beetle, we received a follow up call to make sure everything was going well. When we took it back for it's 30 day service, again, everyone was very nice. They even washed my car for me! We are very happy with the total experience at Reading VW.

My car wa totaled in a hail storm, I really. wanted a new VW Jetta. I went to Reading VW and was greeted by a friendly staff. After test driving a few I settled on a Jetta SE and they searched and found me the exact model and color that I wanted. I had an issue with some of the service done to my vehicle - while the service was performed quickly and the appointment was scheduled during a good time, I felt the issue that addressed did not fix the car's problems - I contacted Chris at the Reading Dealership and he was extremely helpful and provided me with a very acceptable resolution to my concerns. I have always liked the service and environment at this dealership. When this billing issue arose I was confident that it would be handled to my liking. I was correct - the Reading dealership amended the problem perfectly. If I wasn't moving out of state I would continue to go to this dealership for all my needs.

I was attended by Jessica Reed and she is wonderful to work with. She provided me with extensive an detailed information about the car that I was looking for (VW CC) in a very friendly manner. Jessica is very customer service oriented. Blaine Hassler was also very helpful. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I pushed hard to get a good price and they went as far as they could but they held their ground in a very polite way. Jessica followed up the following week to send me a copy of my insurance card. In sum, Jessica kept me informed all through the purchasing process. I am a satisfied and happy customer because of Jessica.

Due to the recent hail storm, we were in need of two vehicles in a short time frame. We went up to test drive several cars. Following the test drives, we were blown away by the outstanding service provided by Dave and Jason. They were able to set us up with two vehicles that same day with no hassles. They provided excellent options and worked with us. I highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to stop at Reading Audi/VW.

This was one of the worst experiences dealing with The Body Shop and Scott. From not returning phone calls to not keeping us informed, it was highly disappointing. When we first arrived, after telling us earlier he would have a rental ready for us he did not and luckily Hertz had a car. We had taken our car in a week before the hail storm back May, and while trying to get a hold of Scott for an update, four days after the hail storm he casually mentioned that our car was damaged by the hail. Something I believe someone could have managed a few minutes to call and tell us. I understand other cars were damaged, but I would have appreciated a quick call opposed to a casual mention. There were a total of four times where I had left a message to receive a call back which was never returned. It got the point where I had to contact the General Manager, Bruce, who was finally able to give me answers. Our car was not in our possession due to this work for over 30 days. We had our rental car for 31 days and had to return it early because we could not afford to keep it any longer. Lastly, when my husband was able to pick up the car, Scott, once again casually mentions that our state inspection was due in May 2014, so rather than giving is a quick call and even offering for them to do it while in their possession, he casually mentions it to my husband as he's picking it up. It is now the end of June and my husband has to relinquish his car once again for inspection. Overall, I am so disappointed in this service we received. I had much higher expectations for our service. This car is on lease from VW, and we were going to finance this vehicle after our lease is done next year, but you have lost us as a customer.

I always wanted a Volkswagen but always assumed they were too expensive to fix but after having my Kia Rio for a year, I just wasn't happy with the car or the experience with my prior dealership! I came in to Reading Volkswagen and was greeted at the door by Zach, who was super friendly and easy going! I test drove a few vehicles and also price matched and was at other dealerships but this one gave me the best deal and customer service! So easy going and no mind games. I purchased by myself and for the best APR a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta SE almost fully loaded and I cannot be more happy with it! So fun to drive and has all the perks I wanted! Smooth process on their end of signing for the car and the detail on the car was amazing! Friendly sales people, very laid back and the people in the service department are just as friendly! Gave me a loaner car when I got Xzilon put on even though they normally don't do that so I wasn't out of a vehicle for the day! They will do their best to make you happy! Overall very satisfied and I would recommend them to anyone! Hopefully I continue to buy my vehicles from here in the future if I chose to stay in the area!

I stopped by Reading VW just to get a bit of lube on my door hinges. What a great experience! Nate, my service tech, descibed everything he was doing, topped off the fluids, and even offered to have the car washed! The service was prompt; the staff was incredibly friendly. Car shopping has never been a very pleasant experience for me in the past but I can honestly say that Reading VW has completely changed my opinion of the entire process! After having my car totaled due to hail damage, I was left desperately needing a new car with not much time to find one. Reading VW immediately greeted me upon arriving at their dealership while I was browsing their lot and they were very friendly and welcoming. My sales person was very knowledgeable about both cars I test drove, above and beyond the other car dealerships I visited that week. Reading VW was also the ONLY dealership to work with me on financing and the price of the vehicle I was interested in. They kept in touch with me until they were able to find the color and trim level I wanted without being pushy. Overall, I had an excellent experience dealing with them and after purchasing my new vehicle, left feeling like I got a great deal instead of feeling robbed as I have in the past!

We were initially greeted by our sales person with her head on her hand and no smile. While test driving she was texting the entire time, and while our paperwork was being gathered, gave my wife attitude about changing our address. Blaine ended up coming to our rescue with a deal we couldn't refuse and helped us with a great smile. With that said, I would recommend this dealership to someone else. Although, I would also recommend the dealership do some training on their sales team to have a more positive and professional attitude during the sales process.

Jason is a great guy and sales person. He was very patient with me while I decided on which car I wanted to choose. I had him at least get 8 or more cars that I wanted to test drive and he never asked, " is this the one you want to get", very patient. He made sure I got the most for my money and wasn't satisfied until I was. I would recommend him to anyone that wants a Volkswagen or vehicle in general at the Reading Dealership.

I came in to have my car serviced for it's first thirty day checkup and was greated by Mr. Krick and from there he told me what my part was in getting it serviced since I was leaving my vehicle overnight and he took care of the rest and made it very easy as simple for me. The next day we picked up the car conveniently at the front of the dealership and everything was great. Overall wonderful experience.

Keith is the coolest guy there in many ways and knows everything about his cars. There is nothing negative I can say about our visit to the dealership. From the very beginning Lou Bealer was there to be of service to us. He was very friendly, informative and helped us through every aspect of purchasing a new car. We found he went over and above in his duties when a slight problem arose. He took ownership of the matter and it was resolved immediately. We had a very pleasant meeting and purchased one beautiful car. Thank you Lou for all you did for us. Nate is incredible - keeps in touch - saw my car needed to be inspected so he called me and the service department banged it out! Car came back to me washed and cleaned out and beautiful. I called this VW Reading to make an appointment for my 2013 Passat that had a tail light out. Nate scheduled me with in a hour of me calling. I was in and out with in 40 min. Great service! Never received such great service with any other dealerships and I have owned GMC, Nissan and Hyundai. Never going switching again. VW has a loyal customer.

Been waiting to review this dealership since purchasing car end of March 2014 due to questionable assistance from sales team. I got a very good price on the new car but each time I call for answers to simple questions, I get NO RESPONSE, just promises of a call back that seldom comes. I have gotten at least 25 emails from Reading VW since the purchase but none regarding 30 day check-up or any other preventive service interval information. Lots of requests for me to complete a survey , so here it is. I'm now afraid to take my car for service, fearing poor preventative service as well. I am currently waiting for a return call regarding a burned out interior bulb for 3 days after 3 calls to them.Again, good price: poor customer service.

It is one of those experiences that stand out, and that you talk to others about. Most people can, and do, tell of countless experiences about bad service. It is not that often, these days, where there is a service level that stands out so far above the normal, that you tell others about it.Well, my wife and I just had one of those moments. We purchased a car from Jason at Volkswagen Reading. Everything was perfect. Car dealers get a "bad rap", generally for good reason, as pushy salespeople. Few people look forward to the process of purchasing a car. They like having the new car, just not the process of getting there. Not to say that I now look forward to that process, but Jason made it easy.No pressure, just constantly looking for a way to get to "YES".Thanks Jason for your service, assistance, and follow-up.

We bought a 2014 Jetta TDI from Vision in April 2014. We dealt with Alicia Lee for our test drive and was very impressed. When we started talking price we dealt with Blaine Hassler who was very persistent ( in a good way) in finding us the right car with the features we wanted. We had shopped around at other dealers but later came back to Blaine because of the good price and we felt he was very trustworthy. After agreeing on the price he looked very hard for our car in the system but to no avail so he ordered one for us. In waiting for our car to come in we dealt with Jessica who was very pleasant and answered all our questions. When our car came in we were anxious to get the car as soon as we could so Blaine arranged for Jason to go over another Jetta with us while ours was being inspected. Jason did a great job of explaining all the features and was very patient with us knowing he would have to do it again with our car when it was ready since we had some different features. When we paid our deposit and the final payment we dealt with Dave Kazmierczak who was very thorough explaining the extended warranty. He was very helpful in making this difficult choice. He had us talk to Chris Rust about all the maintenance issues I had questions about. Chris was also very patient with me and answered all my question and concerns. When we picked up the car Blaine, Jason, and Dave were again very patient with us. When we left they told us to definitely come back so they could explain any feature of the car we wanted to go over again. This has been a great experience and was a pleasure working with all the Vision Family. THANK YOU!

I was very disappointed in the service given by this dealership. I've never had a problem here before until now. I brought the car in to have a door seal fixed as well as a dent but neither were touched, though they claimed it was fixed. I returned to ask why it wasn't fixed and no one had an answer so they said they would have someone call. No one called to help fix the problem or to schedule another appointment. This has happened in the past with recent visits. I was disappointed in this experience so I will plan on not returning as well as having my family and friends return as well. Jason did a great job in being our "go to person" in all aspects of purchasing our new Audi - from the test drive to the finalized paperwork. After we determined that we wouldn't trade in our old vehicle he even looked over the vehicle and gave us advice on what to do to it to enhance its salability. George spent a huge amount of time with us in explaining (and reexplaining) all of the mind boggling features of the car. He even offered to do it again in the future if we desired. This was the best car buying experience that we have had.

When our 2008 Beetle needed a new headlight and a new wiper arm, I called several other local mechanics because I was concerned that "the dealer" would be way overpriced. However, after deciding that I wanted the "best" service for our VW, I went to Reading VW to have the parts replaced. We were very surprised at how professional, friendly and "low cost" it was! I will definitely be back when we need a repair. They even washed our car--free of charge. I am glad we took a second look at taking small maintenance issues to Reading Volkswagen for repair.

I was looking for a new 2014 TDI Jetta premium with navigation. I wanted a white exterior with black interior and a six speed transmission. The car was next to impossible to find, till the awesome sales team at Reading VW put a call into their area Rep. Just drove my new car off the lot. They got the car exactly the way i wanted it. Every time I deal with Nate in the service department, it has been a pleasure. I have never worked with a service adviser as personable and competent as Nate. He is at a whole different level when compared to his counterparts at other dealers. Nate is why I bought another car at this dealer. And if he is still there, I will be buying my next car at Reading VW as he is reason alone, that is how good he does his job.

I was able to make the appointment for the next day. I waited for the repair in a comfortable area which took at two hours. Nate came out frequently with status on the software download and showed me a function I was not aware of after the job was completed and car washed. Everyone was very helpful. AND the repair fixed the problem!

In August I purchased a 2013 Subaru Impreza, after driving it for 6 months I still didn't like it so I set out to get the Jetta TDI I've wanted for a while. I started at a dealer in State College and they were pushy and inconsiderate. My mom found this dealer and Zach and Blaine managed to get me a better car than the State College dealer for a significantly better price. The moment you walk in you're not pressured, you're greeted and they will try to make whatever you want in a car possible.

I've owned a 2002 VW Passat wagon for 12+ years, and loved the car. Now that its time for a new one, I went to vW Reading - the dealeis located very close to my home. I was VERY pleased with the deal I received, and couldn't be happier with the car. They treated me very well, and the process was very easy. Also - VW Reading has a great service department. That area deserves praise as well, as I have taken my Passat there for service many times. If you are in the market for a VW, absolutely stop by VW Reading. Talk to Jason.

I had a wonderful time dealing with the service department! Nate is so wonderful and he makes you feel right at home and is always willing to help you out! There was an awesome woman too! But i can not recall her name. Her and Nate always make sure my vehicle is in tip top shape before it leaves, and always provide another way of transportation for me! :) Great job guys! Everyone was friendly, very helpful, and best if all-NOT PUSHY! They gave great advice and even were willing to travel to get me the car I wanted in the color I wanted. They also stayed there past business hours to answer all questions/finalize everything. Was extremely pleased and will continue with this dealership as opposed to my local VW dealership.

Having owned a few handfuls of VWs, and my fill of being jerked around by local garages, I've gravitated towards the dealership. It is through this shift that I have become familiar with the people who make my VW & Audi dealership such a wonderful place. Every time I leave there I feel like I did the right thing by going.....I feel like it's money well spent....and I'm confident that everything they did ( either sales or service ) is exactly what they said they were going to do. They always exceed expectation, make themselves available, and keep me in the loop. Having spent my childhood in a VW ( being brought home from the hospital in a 71 Ghia ) these aren't just cars to me. I can't explain what a comfort it is to have found a place where so many understand that. Jason is one of these people, we connected immediately , and I couldn't express that comfort either. You see, the car I bought is used,and apparently Jason typically doesn't sell those cars. However he was the first one I spoke with on the phone, and as such he stayed with me through the entire process. On the evening of my purchase the person who handles the used cars was nowhere to be found, and that didn't deter Jason one bit. He took care of everything quite professionally even staying a bit later ( on a friday night and having to work the following saturday no less ) to make sure everything was in order. Incredible. It's just been such a pleasure going to my VW dealership, and it makes me wonder why it took this long for me to discover it. In closing I'd just like to thank Jason for all his listening, his patience, and his love for the cars that have lined my memories.

Our purchase experience was good because of the staff's attention to us and their willingness to negotiate the purchase price. Even though we were not interested, the extended warranty information was presented in a professional manner.The only negative part of our experience was the information provided relative to the DataDot Service. This service was presented as a necessary part of the purchase when, after the purchase of the vehicle, I believe it was an option that was added to the vehicle becauser we did not object to paying the $295 for the service as part of the negotiated price.

The staff at Reading Volkswagen was extremely pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable abut the service they were performing to our vehicle. I dealt mainly with Nate Krick and he was just so pleasant and understood what we were explaining that was happening to our vehicle. We were able to get an appointment quickly and the service was performed timely. The only reason I gave the question regarding price a 4 was that no one wants to pay for repairs but unfortunately it is what must be done when a service is rendered.

Coming into the dealership we already knew what we wanted. The reason why he received this review is because Jason was quick to introduce himself and very polite. He brought the car up for a test drive and Jason did very well at answering all the questions we had to ask. It showed he knew the product very well. From all of my car buying experiences, this was the best one. We didn't feel pressured or pushy nonsense into buying the car. The sale at VW of Reading was completed in the same day I showed interest in a 2014 Jetta TDI and their offer was exactly what I came in for. The whole experience was quick, easy and made the entire car buying experience the least stressful I have ever experienced. Jason facilitated the entire process and even stayed late to complete it.

Until this past experience yes I would recommend vision, however, this experience changed my view. There seems to be too much work for the body shop and only one person to work the office for them, hence things fall through the cracks

Shopping for our VW was a pleasant experience, with friendly and knowledgable people. The sales people were interested in our business and willing to work with us on a deal, but not pushy. The deal went quickly once we made our decision to buy and the car was ready to go, with explanation of everything about, it the same day.

Shopping for a new vehicle is very stressful. Jason and Blaine made my decision very easy. They both were very knowledgeable and professional. I was never a Volkswagen owner and quite honestly was not very interested in looking at the Passat. Through my husbands persistence we went to Volkswagen Reading. After talking with Jason and Blaine I was sold on this vehicle. Their friendly manner and knowledge of the vehicle is what really sold the vehicle. They went above and beyond in customer service. Jason has good product knowledge and you get the feel that he is a "real Volkswagen enthusiast" not just a car salesman. Reading VW does their homework and makes every effort to sell the car to you..... knowledge, price and selection. I requested information from the sale after the sale and Blaine Hassler made sure I got it. If it is important to you, it is important to the staff at Reading. I got the car I wanted in the color and options for the right price. Jason stayed with me, got me the extra options from their parts department and everything clicked. I gave Jason a 5 rating since I was a handoff from another salesman who had to deliver a car out of town that day...... He treated me as if I was his customer and treated me with respect and courtesy..... no pressure, no hype. You would want to buy another car from him.

What an asset to this dealership. They are under construction and both Alicia and Blaine could not have been more accommodating. Polite more than a parent could hope for, hopeful past anything we have had before, focused on each and every detail. They did not miss a beat. I have purchased more than 10 new cars and too many to mention used cars and have never felt so welcome or approached as a customer. Given that I have 14 children and 17 grandchildren that I have been involved in the purchase decisions for and I am an ASE Master Technician I think I can say with knowledge that it would be difficult to find a better team of sales professionals in any dealership. Chris Brown was just great at showing me the new GTI Driver's Edition and explaining the car's perks during the test drive. I wasn't planning on buying the car that day, but he, Blaine, and Dave (the finance manager) gave us an excellent deal. They even stayed almost two hours after the dealership closed just to help us out. My favorite part was that Chris didn't seem like he was giving us a sales pitch - it just felt like we were having a conversation. Highly recommend this dealership and working with these guys!

I've only ever owned Volkswagens and I almost switched to the Nissan Rouge. After visiting Reading Volkswagen and working with Chris Brown, I knew I had to get the Tiguan. Nate is always so friendly and helpful. I had brought my car in for the 30 day check up and told him of a strange sound I was hearing and he ensured me that it would be checked out. When I went to pick up my car he clearly explained my cars "report card" and what it all meant. He also explained the sound that I was hearing and that it was all ok and that my car was doing great. He is always so easy to talk to and so helpful!

I received a recall notice for my VW tiguan. this service was completed quickly and all fluids, tire pressure and a complimentary wash was done to my vehicle before returning it to me. all this was completed in 30 minutes! great service, friendly staff. I will be back!

It was easy to make an appointment that was convenient for me. When I arrived, my car was taken in for service right away. Kyle in parts was VERY helpful in finding me some parts and parts numbers that I needed to solve some unusual issues. Waiting room was very confortable and I was able to get some work done while I was waiting. Chris took time to explain to me all my options for future service appointments. I'll be back again when I need service, for sure. And if I just happen to be in the area, I'll stop in for a free car wash! Great people!

The purchase of my Volkswagen Jetta from Reading Volkswagen was a great experience and the best I've ever had at a car dealership. Jason did a great job of explaining the Jetta/Passat and diesel/gas engines. The dealership allowed me to try out both models which helped make my decision so much easier. He did a geat job and I wish him continued success at the dealership!I had the car in for a 30 day checkup. Brought it in on a Saturday morning and the service staff was excellent. This service center has the best service adviser, Nate Krick, and great vehicle technicians, the best ones that I have found in the area. Nate has been incredibly helpful at every turn, both in his communication with me on the status of my vehicle and was considerate of my schedule. As far as the Volkswagen Technicians, they know these cars extremely well and care about yours like it was one of their own. Most of them own their own VW's, one of the guys even has the symbol tattooed on his forearm, if that isn't devotion, I don't know what is.

When I first decided to start looking for a new car I was terrified and definately no looking forward to it. When I walked into Volkswagen of Reading and met Chris I was immediately put at ease. Because I had spoken with him on the phone he knew what I was looking for. He even went and pulled the Volkswagen Jetta SE into the garage so that we could look it over and not be in the cold weather. There was no pressure at all, Chris told me everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions. Once home I knew I didn't need to look any further. Today I traded in my old car and drove off in my very first new car! Chris made the process so easy and without the pressure, it was a great car buying experience!

Chris Brown and the entire Reading VW team are a prime example of how a car dealership should treat their customers. My story starts a few months ago when I was looking for a mini-van to accommodate my growing family. Having been a lifelong member of the VW community, I knew I wanted to stay loyal to the VW brand, but at the same time; I knew it would be difficult as VW had discontinued its most recent family hauler, the Routan. Chris told my wife and I that they were just about to take shipment of a used Routan in pristine condition. It was the SEL model (top of the line) and out of my price range. But, Chris took it upon himself to make sure that the final price was one which I could afford and even went so far as to answer any and all concerns I may have had about the used vehicle. Bottom line is I need to trust my car dealership and their staff. I can honestly say that I trust Chris Brown and Reading VW. Kudos Boys!

I am proud and excited to share my experience with VW Vision of Reading, PA dealership. I am a proud owner of 3 VW vehicles that I had purchased from this dealership. I work for one of the largest employees in Berks County, The Reading Health System. I wish not only to share with my fellow employees but whoever else is interested in purchasing a VW vehicle. In 2008, we bought our first VW: Jetta. Presently it is passed down to our daughter Katie to enjoy. While servicing the Jetta in 2012 I found a VW GOLF TDI that would be perfect for my husband who commutes to Lancaster every day. Tim Dati was our salesman for that car and was absolutely fabulous, down to earth and helped us stay within our budget. So my last car was a new 2013 Hyundai Tucson, which was intended for my husband but got passed to me. I hated it and only had it for less than a year! You gotta drive something you love is my motto. I missed having turbo and diesel cars today; you just cant beat. I did some research and according to consumer reports; 2 of the top 10 diesel vehicles, were the Golf and the Passat. So back to vision I went and looked up Tim. He is no longer in sales but directed me to Blaine Hassler and Jason Rex. Blaine took me out on my test drive and blew me away with the knowledge he had of the Passat, remember I did research and he was spot on with knowledge, capability and reliability. I told him what features I was looking for, a monthly payment and negotiated my new car trade in. In addition, it depended on my credit? Well ..How does 870 sound? Not only do I take pride in my cars but how hard I work for the things I buy. Dave Kazmierczak was great too. He took care of all my financial paper work and got me the best interest rate of 2.4%. Yay...? Dave and Jason had helped me get the best price for my trade in and all available incentives to get me where I needed my payment to be. Sold!It gets better, at the time when I was done signing and ready to leave, Blaine spent a good 45 minutes, setting up my blue tooth, my VW car net and going over every feature of my new Passat. I had bought my SAAB from Nissan Eisenhauser and Tucson from Hyundai of Shillington and NEVER had that kind of service. I was so impressed by this for this is the first time ever a salesmans went to this great length for me to know my car. By the end of my experience I felt like family. Truly! I am very hard to please and truth be told not very trust worthy, however this dealer ship is very friendly, knowledgeable and gives great customer service. When we picked up the new car Chris helped set everything up to our needs. He did not rush us out the door. Chris has also followed up to make sure that all is well with the new car. I love my car!!! I also appreciate the attention that I received before and after I purchased it. I was given thorough explanations of the service program, the actual mechanics of the vehicle I purchased, and all the contact info I need in case of an emergency. Since this was my first purchase of a diesel, they were able to give me detailed answers to all my questions. Jason Moyer has been a pleasure to work with from start to finish as well as all the other folks from Vision VW that I interacted with and will continue to work with in the years to come. Nate Krick was excellent. He was informative and caring. A female employee who's name I did not catch was at the service counter when I arrived. She gave me just plain wrong information. I had my glow plug indicator flashing and and a solid check engine light. The glow plug light disappears when I turn the car off, which I have to do because when it comes on, the car starts limping (won't go passed 55 mph). The check engine light stayed on all the way until I reached the dealer. I turned the car off when I got there. I explained the issue to the employee. When she went to check my car, she turned it on, and neither indicator lights were on. It was almost like she didn't believe my car had any symptoms. I told her to check for engine error codes (and I knew what error code I was getting because I had checked it with an OBD scanner earlier). She said that i had no lights on so she couldn't check for codes. That makes no sense. I told her that the code was never cleared and she would find something. The fact that there is no engine light on doesn't matter. She said she could check it but since there was no light, and even though I was under warranty, VW would not cover it. That also doesn't make sense.This nonsense continued. The entire time she was rude, gave me false information, and seemed like she had no interest in helping me. And in the end, problems were found with my car. They also found the exact same engine error codes that I found, and I ended up losing almost half a day of work.

This is a great dealership that does care about you before, during, and after the time of purchase of your vehicle wether it was new or used. I recently had an issue with my car and both Chris Rust & Bruce Hendrixson contacted me within the hour of when I mentioned the issue. They did address all my concerns and were very pleasant, down to earth, and understanding. I did purchase my vehicle(used) from them less than a year ago and I would highly recommend them, they stand behind what they sell, treat you like a person, and know your name. Dealing with VW Reading was extremely pleasurable and not at all what we expected from a dealership. We expected the high pressure, sign now attitude that is the car dealership stigma. What we got, starting with our initial inquiry, was a professional and very friendly and smooth transaction. We cant say enough about the 2012 Passat that we purchased, it exceeded our expectations right out of the garage. If there was a 10 for this dealership I would give it a 10 in all aspects. I drive 1 1/2 hours and bypass 4 other VW dealerships just to take my car to this dealership for service. That alone tells you how much I appreciate their hard work and their attention to doing not only a detailed job with my vehicle, but a detailed job in making sure I am always satisfied. 8/16/13, We picked up our metalic Toffee Brown Volkswagon Beetle car that we purchased with Chris Brown.Chris is a total professional salesman,and he knows his cars. Was looking for a car for my son and things started off rough with a price quoted to me that was $1000 over what was listed on the web site. Really troubled by that and was thinking no way I do business with these guys. Turned out was just a simple mistake as the price had just been reduced, but GM of dealerships got involved. Tells me they take their customer service very seriously. Began working with Alicia Lee who could not have been more helpful. This was a big hike for us so she took additional photos of the car I was interested in to make sure there were no surprises. With the GM overseeing the process, worked out a great deal on a great low mileage car (VW CC). I am no neophyte to the car buying process and grew up in the auto industry with a dad that financed dealers and buyers. So this episode was very illustrative to me and could have ended very differently with me penning a very unhappy review. Clearly from the top down Reading VW is a high integrity dealership that wants to make sure every customer is satisfied. I would highly recommend them (even if you have to drive 80 miles like I did) and Alicia will make sure you leave with a great car at a very fair price.Jeff Hartford MD

My family has purchased 3 Volkswagens from Chris Brown. In the Reading area, there are several other dealerships and salespeople; however, we always see Chris because we know we will get the absolute best service. Each time we visit Reading Volkswagen, Chris is genuinely kind and interested in helping us find the car that is best for our needs. Chris spent time with me after hours and regularly kept in contact with me. I am a demanding customer and the car I wanted required a dealer trade; Chris spent hours locating the car I wanted and yet never made me feel like the dealer trade was a hassle. The dealership arranged for a special driver to pick up my vehicle and Chris updated me regarding its whereabouts. When I picked up my car, it was spotless, shiny, and decorated with balloons! I just want to start off by saying that my fiance and I were looking for a second vehicle and were really interested in the Dodge Dart. We went to another dealership and was completely thrown off and discouraged. When we went to Volkswagen Reading we were greeted by Chris greeted us right away and not only listened to what we wanted but accommodated accordingly. We spent three days there figuring out what we wanted and all three he stayed late for us without batting an eyelash. He helped us stress all of our options and ultimately got us into a car that we loved and got us a great deal on a new Jetta. He showed us all the buttons, test drove with us and was there every step of the way. Not only would I recommend him but also the dealership. Everyone was nice and helpful and just a great atmosphere. Chris did an amazing job and I would go back to him in the future and will refer everyone to him. Pick him and this dealership!

I had to leave town and drop off my 2010 VW CC Friday night. Nate and the two other female employees who assisted me over the phone were accommodating. They allowed me to pay over the phone. I had, and still have, the 15% off the 40k mile service coupon on my fridge because I was not able to provide that at the time of payment. Nate was nice enough to factor that into the final bill. My VW was 16 years old and my husband decided he wanted to update to a new car. Chris greeted us on the lot wtih a smile and was very kind and courteous. He quickly understood that I was hesitant to give up my Cabrio. He asked what we were looking for and pointed us the cars that meeted our criteria. He was knowlegable on each car we looked at and he knew what the different options were on each car. We took a new beetle convertible for a test drive, and he explained many of the gadgets on the car before we left for the drive. During the drive, he further gave us details on the car. My husband was a tough person to deal with but Chris answered all his questions with straight answers and always a smile. His personality was very pleasing and quickly put me at ease with is kindness. He was not a pushy person and understood that we wanted time to consider updating to a new car. I had owned 3 vw's before and did not want to deal with the vw dealer I had previously dealt with, and was very comfortable dealing with Chris at this dealership. He assured me that the service at this dealership would be top-notch, and if I did have any problems he would be there to assist me. We did buy the new beetle. Chris even programed the navatation system with our home address and sync'd the new system with all my telephone numbers from my phone. He even set up the 30 day car check before we left with the new car after going over all the options again. I was confident when I left that I knew where all the buttons were for the wipers, lights, etc. I would recommend Chris to everybody to deal with. He has a calm personality and a great smile!

At first I was reluctant to take my vehicle to the dealership for the 90,000 mile service and for a check engine light. I knew it would be more expensive because the mechanics are "certified" VW Mechanics which increases the labor rate per hour. Initially I called and talked to someone to arrange for a appointment. I felt like I was getting the run around from that particular individual. I had to call three times to attempt to make the appointment. I got put on hold one time, got a person's voice mail another, and then the line went blank. The next time I was talking to the same individual that was attempting to transfer me at the beginning and now they were attempting to schedule my appointment. The description she gave me seemed like it was only a tire rotation, oil change, and a typical 25 point inspection. The cost was over $200 dollars. I thought there's no way I'm paying that much for that service. So, I attempted to make the appointment for the check engine light, which I had been previously decoded at an Advanced Auto store and I knew it was something to do with the turbo in the car. Again, the explanation of the service was lacking and the price didn't seem reasonable. But I wanted the work to get done right and agreed to the appointment. After thinking it over for about ten or fifteen minutes I decided I'd just take it to my local garage and hope they would be able to trouble shoot the check engine light and also perform the necessary inspections for the 90,000 mile service. So I called back to cancel the appointment. I didn't want to talk to the individual who scheduled my appointment. So, I talked to the administrative assistant. She attempted to transfer me to the individual I had talked to before. Luckily that individual did not pick up. She then asked what she could help me with and I told her I wanted to cancel my appointment. She asked if there were any problems and I recanted what had just transpired with the individual I had previously talked to on the phone. She immediately went into damage control and asked me to reconsider. If I would talk to Nate Krick, the service advisor, he'd be able to give me a detailed breakdown of the service. I was transferred over to Nate and he did give me a detailed breakdown of the service to be performed for both the 90,000 mile service and the check engine light which justified the cost of the service. He also said that he would work with me on the cost of the service for the check engine light, depending on what they found. Nate also apologized for the run around I got earlier. Feeling placated, I made the appointment and brought my car in on the scheduled day. I waited in the lobby for the work to be completed. It took about three hours. I walked around the lot to see what the new vehicles looked like, got a complimentary cup of coffee, bought a snack at the snack machine and watched tv on my iPad, hooked up to there WiFi. Periodically, Nate would stop by to update me on the progress of the work and ask if I needed anything. The administrative assistants also periodically asked if they could get me anything, which was very nice. Finally, the work was all complete, except for the check engine light. The piece that they needed to complete the work wasn't on site and needed to FedEx'ed over the next day. Rather than making me take the car home and then bring it back the next day, Nate offered to give me a loaner car, leave my car there and have it worked on as soon as the part arrived the next day. Nate said he'd call me when the work was done and I could come pick up the car. I thought that was very thoughtful on his part. I got the call the next day and went to pick up my car. Nate went over all the work that had been done and also worked with me on the cost of the repair. I felt it was a fair charge. As long as I'm able to get a detailed explanation of why something is costing a certain amount, I'm alright with paying it and will continue to bring my car back to this dealership. Thanks Nate!

Upon entering your dealership I went to the wrong location for service, a technician who I didn't get his name was exceptionally friendly and guided me to the correct location. When I entered the service area a woman at the Audi desk personally walked with me to the VW desk and everyone was so welcoming! Today more often as a customer I find that I am treated as a hassle, this certainly was not the case here. Nate who took my information was beyond what I expected. His eagerness to make my experience as hassle free as possible was impeccable. The attitude he had about VW and the way he listened to my concerns was something rare. He truly is an asset to VW of Reading and should be told. Thanks for a wonderful experience!!

Would I recommend this dealer question - should have with improvements.Service advisor didn't return 3 phone calls prior to the service for parts availability - so I ordered them myself.For my first 30 day/1,000 mile service - the quick alignment wasn't completed, ever after one tire had more wear that the other 3 tires.

I purchased my volkswagon at Faulkner VW in Allentown(which I highly reccomend.) I live in Berks and was planning on taking my VW to this dealer ship to have it serviced after my purchase. I said planned. This review covers my first and final experience of Reading Audi/VW. This was my 30 day check-up. It was supposed to be an easy, routine, quick kind of a deal. Thirty minutes tops. I ended up being there for an hour and a half. That's not worst part. They did nothing more than check the tire pressure, alignment, maybe the fluids. In the time I was sitting there, the environment in this place was nauseating. Not at all what I experienced at Faulkner. For one, they lost a woman's keys....? The manner in which the staff spoke was down right uneducated and rude. I would have expected more class here. So, I check out. I go out the front door to my car, and oh hey, they managed to wash my car in that hour and a half! There sits my beautiful 2013 black vw with two huge deep SCRATCHES in the driver's side door, right above the handle!!!! I don't normally complain about things like this but when you spend 25k on something, you speak up. The manager came out and took them out. I was too peeved to even check the rest of the car. When I got home I checked even inch, there was not only white lint all over it (what idiot cleans a black car with a white towel) but, there where two more 4 inch hairline scratches by the headlight on the driver's side. It's a black car!!! I just bought it!!! I would rather pay money to have an expensive detailer take them out then to go back here. Better yet, take my time and gas to drive to Faulkner in Allentown. At least I know they will do it right. My car will never touch this lot again unless it's an emergency.

My wife and I recently purchased our new Jetta from Volkswagen Reading and Chris was our salesman. The whole experience could not have been a more positive one. Chris was very knowledgable, professional, very detailed and a pleasure to deal with. He did every thing he could to make us feel very comfortable from selecting the right Jetta to going over the features of the vehicle to the test drive. We worked out a great deal on our trade added a protection plan and an extended warranty and Chris along with Jason Rex and Dave Kazmierczak got us into our new vehicle. We did have intentions on looking at some other brand vehicles at other dealerships but we never left Volkswagen Reading after our visit there and Chris and the rest of the staff were the reason we didn't. We were very impressed with the dealership facilities, vehicle inventory, everything. The day we picked up our Jetta it was sitting just off of the showroom floor and it was immaculate. Chris made sure it was perfect and he even had the gas tank filled for us. Since we've had our Jetta Chris has followed up with us numerous times to make sure everything was okay and we were pleased with our purchase which we really appreciate. When I test drove the Touareg TDi I really enjoyed the ride but when we exited the vehicle I made a remark after locking the doors that I did not want the horn to sound when locking the doors and sure enough Chris remembered even something small like that so before driving off the lot the options were all set exactly how I wanted them. It seems like a small detail to even the friends and family I talk to but to me the little details add up quick and Chris kept it covered throughout the entire purchase. I now make it a point to do all purchases and services at this dealership even if I work 300miles away just because the service both in sales and auto service are exceptional. Whether buying a loaded Touareg or a base Jetta the treatment is great. From the first test drive through to driving away if I had to choose one word for my time at the dealer it would be pleasant.

I knew what car I wanted before I walked in there. I knew they didn't have it so they searched until they found one. This is our first volkswagen. Love it! You can surely tell the difference in the quality. Worked with Tim Dati. He's a great guy. Would go out of his way for you. Very friendly. First time ever got a tour of the dealership. Met customer service even went to the service & garage area. Everybody was so friendly & made you feel welcome. Got our picture taken for a calendar. Never had that done. So when we purchased my wife's Tiguan a few months ago (see previous review), I really was not looking for a car for myself, however, I was so impressed with Chris Brown and the dealership that I went back to look at the GTI's. Chris spent an entire Saturday (and more) with me, trying out several models and working out numbers. What was great was how Chris did not mind spending the time and actually seemed to enjoy it. If you have shopped for a new car recently, you know this is a rarity. Chris did what he had to do to find the EXACT and perfect GTI for me. I am very particular and I am certain that I found just the right car. I love it. And the best part is that I get to continue my relationship with Reading VW as a service customer. And one more thing, Chris knows his VW's!

The whole process of buying this car only took 1.5 hr. My salesman Tim Dati, he is knowledgeable and friendly, so I bought my 2013 Jetta. I'm not new to Volkswagen, actually tried to buy 5 dubs over the years from the previous VW (Vision) dealer. With me leaving and going to another VW dealer out of the area. Since the new owners have taken over, things have changed for the better. I would recommend Reading VW .... I'd def buy another car from them.

We recently bought our new Jetta on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, we were unable to arrange for a baby sitter ahead of time. Not once during the whole process did we feel rushed and looked at funny for having our 2 year old running around the showroom "trying out" all the new cars. Our purchase took us past the normal business hours and Chris Brown made sure the car was still detailed for us, went himself to make sure the tank was full, and insisted on staying even longer to make sure that I knew how to use all the features of my new car. I brought my Passat in for service on April 17. Sal had the rental car ready and efficiently went over any issues I was having with the car. He answered all my questions and told me he would Rick from the paint and body shop check my scratches and go over that information with me when I pick up the car. Sal called Thursday morning to let me know the car was ready - all serviced and inspected - fixed my key - ordered a part for the back seat. When I picked up my car everything was smooth. Parked the rental in the breezeway - got my paperwork - paid my bill - Rick was there as promised to go over my paint repair and I was on my way. Sal is great - VW is great - This is one of many positive experiences I have had with VW. The girls are very professional at the client care desk.

I felt like I was important to Sal. I spent about 2 hours there and Sal always came back to check up on me and make sure I knew what was going on and offered to have my car inspected so I wouldn't have to bring my car back in the next 2 months. The receptionist was especially pleasant and had a great time speaking to her. It was a great experience.

Having purchased thirty cars over the last forty years, I have had many experiences with car dealers. Some of those experiences are memorable for all the wrong reasons. In contrast to those, my experience at Volkswagen Reading was excellent. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I spent two weeks evaluating other vehicle options. While the staff from Reading Volkswagen kept in contact during that time, they never once pressured me into making a decision. Finally, I have found a car dealer who respects that I have the right to take my time to make the right decision for my situation and understands that their role in the process is to provide the best information and most competitive deal regarding their product. I so appreciate this type of relationship, that I will definitely recommend Chris Brown and Volkswagen Reading at any appropriate opportunity and will return when the time comes that I need another vehicle.

I have purchased a lot of cars through the years and have had both good and bad experiences. However, our time with Chris Brown at VW of Reading was a very pleasant experience. We had a two year old in tow both visits and the whole staff made us feel very at home. Chris went out of his way to make sure we got the car and deal that we wanted as well as what I needed to get for my trade-in. The sales manager even played with my son while my wife and I finalized the deal. On another note, I can not tell you how many salesman I have worked with that did not know their product. Chris impressed me with how much he knew about our Tiguan. Not only did he know everything about the electronics, for example, he was able to effectively teach the gadgetry to my non-techie wife with ease. As a school teacher, that impressed me. I will definitely return to Chris and VW Reading when the new GTI comes out next year.

I decided to trade my beetle in for a new Tiguan. I would say that my experience with Sal and Chris definitely had the most impact on my decision to purchase the new vehicle. I contacted Chris Brown in reference to a pre-owned 2013 Lexus that was listed on the Internet. I live in New York and the dealership is over 200 miles from my house so I was hesitant to take the ride. Chris sent me a lot of detailed pictures of the car from every angle possible. He even made sure to point out a minor scuff underneath the front bumper so there would be absolutely no surprises when I got there. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership the car was exactly what he said it was and we bought it. He even recommended an excellent restaurant for us to try before the long ride home. The bottom line is he's obviously a car guy, if he wasn't I wouldn't have trusted him enough to drive 200 miles.

I would highly recommend Chris, as he was very helpful throughout the decision making process. I walked in to the dealership unsure if VW was the right choice for me. After speaking with Chris, I felt comfortable that I was making the best decision possible. He is friendly and very knowledgeable, while also being patient as I decided which VW (if any) was right for me. My experience at VW Reading was superb. Prior to VW Reading, I visited another dealer and was ignored for 15-25 minutes. The sales manager and sales person at that dealership blamed their terrible service on being unprepared for a high turnout with a Black Friday Special. I felt disrespected and unvalued as a potential buyer. I left that dealership and I headed straight for VW Reading.My experience between the two dealers was like night and day. Blaine welcomed me and my family within four seconds of entering the building. There was no high sales pitch: he listened patiently to my needs as a buyer and talked me through my options. Recently we were looking for a new Van to replace our ageing one. Being a long time VW fan we stopped in to look at the Routan, which has proven to be an excellent Van we highly reccomend, Chris was very friendly and knowledgable and did a great job of showing us vehicles and features and what would best suite our needs. Our sales experience was very smooth with them actually saving us money on the financing as well, they beat the rate of our Cedit Union, so that is impressive. I was only interested in purchasing a Manual Transmission, Midsize 2012 vehicle. Other dealerships would not answer when I asked if they had a model that met my criteria or tried to talk me out of what it was I was looking to buy.Blaine Hassler greeted me warmly as I entered the dealership, listened to what I wanted and went about trying to find my car. Never did he try to tell me what it was I wanted. In a little over a week, he found my 2012 Blue 5 Speed Passat and even drove to North Jersey to retrieve it for me.
