I visited South Coast Volkswagen yesterday, thinking I would just check out the new Tiguan's to see what they're all about. I have been interested in leasing a new car (for the first time ever), but I've been hesitant because of the cost and the fact that I am a recent college graduate. Geoff White met me in the parking lot and immediately began to show me around the 2017 Tiguan and answer all my questions. After a test drive, I was even more interested in this car and I thought I was just looking! Geoff was so understanding of my limitations and concerns with the costs of leasing and did everything he (and his manager) could do to make a deal that I was comfortable with, in the car that I wanted. At no point did I feel pressured or ignored, which is the stereotypical dealership experience everyone warns you about. Also, I brought in my old car as a trade-in and I feel that they were very fair with the trade-in offer. Badda-bing, bad-boom, I'm driving a 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg and I couldn't be more excited about it! Geoff, you set the bar SO high for my first car buying experience at a dealership - I am so lucky. Also, thank you for the trail mix so I wouldn't get hangry. :)

Excellent facility and Customer Service. Very happy with the car so far (I've only had it for one week). Good buying experience. I got a good deal (although not great, but I'm ok with that because I HATE haggling), and the buying process was pretty easy and stress-free. Overall, I would buy from them again. Aaron Cespedes, especially was extremely helpful! Maybe the best of all the staff I interacted with. If he ever becomes a salesman, I would go to him personally to buy in the future.

My mother and I strolled around the dealership comfortably without having hundreds of car salesman barging into your bubble the moment you set foot in the dealership. I got the chance to peacefully look at the Tiguan and fell in love. As we left the dealership Aaron Cespedes kindly approached us if we needed assistance. That time we went only to see the cars, he understood and gave us his business card in case we had any questions. About a month later, I was ready to buy a new car and contacted Aaron if he would be available to assist me. He quickly responded and started the process. Aaron made this whole experience stress free and had the best intentions. Something I liked that he mentioned was he likes the idea of knowing that he has helped someone for the better not for the worse. And that's definitely what he did. I can't thank him enough for his help along with other team members in making my second car buying experience 110% better than the first. I and my wife bought an used Jetta from VW South Coast today. The car is beautiful and the price is also very reasonable. The whole purchase process was smooth and pleasant. The gentleman, Geoff White, is very polite and patient and helps us a lot during the business. To be honest, we are usually very picky to our purchases and as students, we also argued a lot about the final price and have so many questions about here and there. Mr. White was very patient and always happy to answer all of our questions. We very appreciate that. The car center is also well built and very comfortable, especially for such a hot day with more than 100 F degree. Again, a happy deal and thanks to Mr. White and all other team members.

I was recently testing the waters by receiving on-line quotes from various VW Dealerships. Aaron Cespedes provided the lowest offer, but it turns out, VW South Coast has the most modern facilities of any VW Dealership I've ever visited. Everyone that I met including Olias and Shawn were great throughout the new car buying process. I would highly recommend VW South Coast.

As an architect and VW loyalist, I'm very observant of my attention to detail in design. From the moment, I drove onto VW South Coast's lot, I was impressed by the newer and modern facilities that distinguishes it from your "cookie-cutter" VW dealership in Southern California. Beyond aesthetics, the customer service experience at VW South Coast exceeded my expectations. They were very upfront and kept their word on their online quote. They even were able to obtain my preferred color choice with no upcharge. The dealer itself has undergone extensive changes since they moved Audi out. It's very open, inviting, customer focused and friendly. All the staff are helpful. I just bought my second new car from there today. My salesman, Geoff, was low pressure and helpful. I'd buy another car from him, and recommend him to anyone. I've also had my cars serviced here for decades. They've made great improvements to make Service flexible: early drop-off and after hours pick up. They're very timely and prompt about updating you on the repair status too. Overall, what was a good dealership is now A+++.

I had been to at 3 dealership before going to south coast for my VW. I am beyond impressed by their level of customer service. They are very friendly, professional and knowledgable about the product they present. Tiffany H was just a great person to work with. Macros is excellent and knowledgable. working with the two of them, it didn't even feel like I was in the presence of salespersons. No pressure from either of them at all. They just let the cars speak for themselves, and that is very refreshing to experience. Thank you Shaw N.. Shaw was the finance person and again great person to work with. I walked in with my own approval from my bank and he was still able to find me a better deal. Just an amazing group of people that helped me today. Had a great experience recently with Michelle Nunez and Manager Peter Maldonado. I had an extra warranty I purchased with my Beetle but am sadly selling my car to a 3rd party who did not want the warranty. I had a very short window to sell the car at a great price but the car had to be paid down to the buyers purchase price and and the warranty was the only thing keeping me from being at the purchase price. Normally the checks for the warranty pro- rates refund don't go out until later in the month or the next month so I was at risk of losing the great sale. I let Michelle know the concern and how urgent and important it was and she said she would do whatever they could to accommodate me. I was so pleasantly surprised when I got an email today from Michelle saying the manager Peter was able to work something out and make this happen and I am seriously BEYOND GRATEFUL and so thankful for them working with me on this!! This was actually the 24th vehicle my family and I have purchased or leased over the past 63 years that I have been driving, and although the experience was not new it was certainly one of the best. Geoff White was our Client Advisor. He really impressed me with his professionalism. This car is for me, a woman, and most only want to deal with " the man". Not Geoff. My husband and I were wandering around (they actually let you do that there instead of pouncing on you!), and Geoff realized we had stopped doing so, so he came to see what we needed. When my husband said the car was for me, he didn't hesitate to turn to me and started his questions; the type of car I wanted, what price level, etc. he was so patient with me, since I was going between the Golf and the Passat and what color of interior and exterior. Took me driving (we left the hubby at the dealership!) asked questions and answered all of mine. He brought out several cars to compare interior colors as well as exterior colors. He should get an award for patience! When I made my decision, the process of buying was very easy! Even the finance officer was friendly and very easy to work with. What a fantastic dealership! And you even get your car washed for free every week if you want!

I just leased a new 2016 eGolf from South Coast VW and I will say that it was a very pleasant experience. Didn't know much about the eGolf at first but Leo Murata did a great job and explained all the details of the car and of owning an all-electric vehicle. Also test drove a regular gasoline Golf and was surprised how will the eGolf performed. I took a few days to further research the car on my own and when I went back to the South Coast VW Holly Setiadi ended up helping me do the final paperwork, since Leo had not come in yet. Overall very satisfied with the car buying experience at South Coast VW and their staff. Most importantly neither Leo or Holly made me feel pressured to sign the paperwork until I was ready to do so.

My first 3 cars were all Ford's bought from the same salesperson, but this time I wanted to try something new, something different. My coworker has owned a few VW's and he swears by them so I figured I'd at least check them out. I test drive the car, love it, and then comes the fun part; credit services. I needed to co-sign the car with someone out of state, which I figured would be difficult, and Luke Volk (AMAZING guy, go to him for everything) told me straight out the process and how easy it was. Thursday Luke called me back and told me what I needed to do in regards to paperwork for the next day and what to bring and do. Friday comes and I call him to confirm I'm coming in and he says he'll make sure to be there when I arrive around 5:45 after work, and Luke was still there. He was supposed to leave 2 hours prior but wanted to stay to make sure he helped me get everything finalized which was such a small thing to do, but made such a huge impact for my experience. He was there for all the phone calls, all the emails, and even insisted I take his cell phone to reach him via text when I need help with anything. This process started on Wednesday, and I picked up the car the following Thursday, and Luke again stayed after to walk me around the car, walk me through the entire manual and what I needed to know, and made the process so personalized that I will never buy a car from anyone else. Luke, if you see this you are the MAN!!

At South Coast VW they really care about getting you in the car that YOU want and are comfortable in. There is no pressure and it shows that they aren't just out for the sale. Shawn was my guy! I just bought a 2016 Jetta SEL and love it. They didn't have the Black on Black in inventory but that wasn't a problem as they brought it over from a neighboring dealer quickly after the paperwork was started. The last car buying experience I had was terrible, it was in Nevada and to be honest I left the dealership as a first time buy at the age of 21 not really even knowing what I got myself into. I am sure a lot of people can relate to an experience like that. So now it is 3 years later and time to renew my lease. Long story short I was mislead on my last agreement and was in a pretty tough spot. My car was 10k miles over its lease, and for some reason I only had a 12 month warranty on my 36month leased vehicle. Marco and Israel went over my lease from the other dealership and explained to me all of the things that was wrong with my initial contract, educated me on how they could help and I already started to feel better. All I can tell you is with their genuine care and help was so appreciated. They got me into the prettiest car and gave me the best deal they could. I heard great things about Volkswagen, but I had no preference for it, nor had I ever drove one. The facility was nice and clean. Without going into details, all the employees were very kind and helpful, especially Marco Montero, who seemed to be trying his best to make a great deal for us. They carefully show me the function of the car that I want to buy (before or after buying my car) They have really good gratifying services: they offer me and my friends coffee and candy. When Holly saw my friend does not have the seat, he usually moved a chair for my friend. Murat cares about his custom. He texted me to make sure if I (new driver) drive home safely. 'They also tell me and show me what kind of services i have after buying the car, such as car washing. What is the most impression for me is everyone tries their best to get what i want to get. I had such an relaxed car buying experience once I set foot into Volkswagen South Coast. Murat Sautpayev and Geoff White worked with me directly to lease a new 2016 Tiguan, which I absolutely love after the first week of driving. I had looked at other brands such as Nissan and Subaru, but the team at Volkswagen had my business as soon as I walked in. They did not treat me as a number or a sale, but rather as a person - and worked with me through all the details of my purchase, including a transition to the Bay Area and ways in which to accommodate this within the lease terms. I was able to workout the details of the deal through email and text with Murat while at work the next morning, then came down to Santa Ana (from Hollywood) to pick up the car that evening from Geoff. Geoff was incredibly professional, patient and understanding, as well as made the overall process swift and efficient - getting me through finance in under 30 minutes! I intend to stay with VW for a long time coming (swapping over from Lexus) and if I return to SoCal, will absolutely return to Volkswagen South Coast to work with Geoff and Murat again. Man oh man... I'm sure they hate me here. My boyfriend and I were at this dealership for a loooooong time. We came in for a beautiful 2014 Jetta SE already priced below market value and I was having a hard time paying over 12k... So I stood my ground and would not budge for 3 hours! But our salesmen, Holly and Geoff, came down to a price to my liking. I am very stubborn, and I really wanted to go to another dealership to check out the same car with an extra 10k miles for only $800 less... Now that I think about it, that was pretty silly of me. This car was a nice blue color compared to the cheaper, champagne colored car. Anyway... They put up with my tenacity and we got a new car at a really great price while working with really nice salesmen! Holly and Geoff have great customer service skills! We never felt like they were haggling. They know that they price their cars for well below market value. They already had a LoJack installed and worked with me to lower the price because we didn't want a LoJack in the first place. I know now that it's a smart investment if our car gets stolen. The signing of the contract in the end was the easiest and most simple contract signing I have ever done for a car. They simplify it and explain everything in detail. There were no hidden fees or costs that you get at other dealerships, just basic license fee, tiny doc fee, etc. However, there was extra stuff that you can add, such as an extended maintenance package. We didn't want to add any extras, but the finance officer, Todd, lowered the price by a few hundred bucks because he noticed our interest in it, and we just couldn't resist that great of a deal. It will save tons of money on maintenance in the long run. We will definitely come back to this dealer for our future purchases. Thanks for putting up with me guys!

My wife and I just leased our second Jetta in less than 3 months from VWSC. We hadn't planned on getting the second Jetta so soon but when my 03 Jettawagon (165k miles) - which I loved! - needed some pretty expensive repairs we decided to trade it in and lease a new 2016 Jetta. I initially called Cristal Viramontes, who helped on our first lease, and she teamed up with Holly Setiadi to make this the most easy transaction we could have asked for. Since we hadn't planned on gettin a new car so soon we hadn't saved for a down payment. When I our situation to Cristal she assured me that they would honor our VW loyalty (we've owned 4 VWs since 1999) by giving us a great deal and making the experience as quick and painless as possible. She and Holly delivered big time! They gave me a very fair amount for my trade-in, a $1500 VW loyalty rebate, and a great discount on a 2016 Jetta. Holly was great and getting all the paper work in order even offering to drive it to my house for my wife to sign! There were some logistical issues with my schedule and theirs so they gave me a loaner car for FREE!! so I wasn't stuck without a car. This was my third car buying experience and definitely the best one yet! I walked in on a whim after work one day and was greeted by the receptionist who got me a salesman right away. Dustin came right over and asked me what I was looking for and he led me to the perfect car! A 2016 Tiguan. He didn't try to get me to look at anything out of my price range or to look at a better model. I told him what I wanted and what my price range was and he delivered! We took it for a test drive and he explained all the futures thoroughly and compared other crossovers I had told him I was also looking at. He pointed out some things that as a female I normally wouldn't have noticed, like blind spots in other similar cars that the Tiguan did't have and the safety futures like the way you can just unlock one door and not all 4 if you ever feel you're unsafe. After my test drive I just gave him some of my basic info but let him know I was still looking as VW South Coast was my first stop. He didn't harass me or bother me once. That night I made my decision and let Dustin know and the next day I came in and everything was set up for me. The entire process was extremely easy! My car was waiting for me in the purchase room washed and detailed and ready for me to take home. The facility is brand new and so clean and nice that I definitely won't mind taking it to get its maintenance done. Dustin introduced me to the maintenance team and made sure if I had any questions during my lease, to call him. At VW South Coast you are not just a number but actually a person! Dustin didn't sell me the car and leave, he stayed with me the entire process until I drove off. I can't imagine buying a car anywhere else after this!

Our sales rep was very nice and accommodating. He provided the normal service you would expect from a dealership, nothing above and beyond, which I completely understand. I work in customer service and customer experience industry so I know a little when it comes to this and I would say he could do a little better of a job of trying to sell the vehicle. My wife and I were already there to buy the car, we did not need to be sold on it. We could have walked in and anyone in the building would have recorded the sale. When it comes down to price they would not wiggle at all, didn't even try to work with our budget. Their offer was on the table and we told them what we could afford and we got a straight no. I was a little thrown back by that because in my opinion if you have someone there with CASH ready to purchase you might want to accommodate a little. We ended up walking away the first day we were there, but talked it out over the phone. Eventually we met them at their price, but it took about 2 hours to do paper work and pay for the car. I thought the process was a little drawn out, all in all I think it is a good dealership, but there is always room for improvement.

I just bought my first brand new car here on Friday and had a great experience. Holly was my salesman and he was great and not the typical pushy salesman you expect to help you. I got to the dealership 30 minutes before closing and he was happy to help me and did not rush me at all. Coffee was provided and it was good quality starbucks coffee from a pretty nice machine and I'm pretty picky about my coffee. I got the car I wanted pretty close to the amount that I wanted to spend. It was probably 11:30 pm when I signed all the papers and Holly took the time to show me all the different features of the car and even wiped down some areas outside the car the appeared to be wet from it just being washed. All in all, great car shopping experience.

Been trying to find the car I've been waiting for since it came out. Called many dealerships for the golf R and every dealership had price marked up $6000-$9000 over msrp. This dealership offered msrp price and didn't mark up the price. Very simple and quick, give me the total price and the rest was just signing papers. My father and I went into VW South Coast looking for a GTI. Holly Setiadi quickly met us and went over their inventory, and what they would have coming in. As it happened they had the exact GTI I was looking for coming to them in a matter of weeks. Holly was quick to help us in putting in a deposit while we waited for it to arrive. Holly gave me a call as quickly as possible once it arrived, and we set an appointment to meet the following day. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted with some waters and were whisked off to our own private show room, which held my soon-to-be beautiful GTI! After examining the car and pointing out some of the features, Holly aided with completing some of the paperwork. Once it was all done it was off to the finance office- which only took me about 10 minutes! From that point on I have been driving my Golf GTI non-stop! My father and I went into VW South Coast looking for a GTI. Holly Setiadi quickly met us and went over their inventory, and what they would have coming in. As it happened they had the exact GTI I was looking for coming to them in a matter of weeks. Holly was quick to help us in putting in a deposit while we waited for it to arrive. Holly gave me a call as quickly as possible once it arrived, and we set an appointment to meet the following day. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted with some waters and were whisked off to our own private show room, which held my soon-to-be beautiful GTI! After examining the car and pointing out some of the features, Holly aided with completing some of the paperwork. Once it was all done it was off to the finance office- which only took me about 10 minutes! From that point on I have been driving my Golf GTI non-stop! I could not be happier with the purchase, and furthermore with the ease and speed at which it was done. Thank you Holly, and thank you VW South Coast!

I traveled from Edwards AFB to the Commonwealth Volkswagen (2.5 hour drive) for a reason, Mr. Zhong Ren. As soon as I called and spoke to Mr. Ren I knew I wasn't going to have to play games with a car salesman. In my case I was looking for a specific model of Volkswagen, the Tiguan, and knew which one I wanted from his showroom. I found my self letting him know how badly I wanted this car, comfortable knowing he wouldn't take advantage of my excitement. He helped me trade in my car for more than I thought I could have sold it for privately and with the help of a gentleman named Israel, my monthly payments were much lower than what I expected. I can say the 2 and a half hour drive through LA was worth dealing with reasonable and professional staff that put me in an amazing Volkswagen all that same day. The detailing was fast, the financing was easy, and I got an amazing warranty. All in all I'd have to say if i'm still stationed at Edwards by the time it comes to buy another vehicle Commonwealth VW is where I'm gonna go. Thanks you guys My wife and I love our new VW.-T. Jim Wren and Holly Setiadi made my deal a no brainer. We had 60 minutes to come up with the a great deal on a great car. Holly took great care to meet that deadline and wasn't pushy or trying to upsell or telling me that I needed to look for a cheaper car. From the first day I made the call inquiring about the auto of my choice, he was constant, he was constantly keeping me updated on the status of the vehicle. Holly Setiadi, the Sales Assistant who sold us our new Jetta TDI SEL was wonderful. He was not a typical car salesman; very low key. He answered questions but did not push us towards a car. He let us take the time to make our own decision, but was there to answer questions He was very good about communicating with us over the phone rather than having to spend time at the dealership, and patiently answered all our questions. We ended up making the purchase within a few days of our test drive, and Holly made our overall experience very comfortable. As an added bonus, we have free service for a few years and FREE CAR WASHES for as long as we own the car. It's a small thing, but it really made us happy. We shopped around at different places, but ended up with Holly because he was the most helpful and flexible when it came to fulfilling the requirements we had in mind for our car. Thanks Holly!!

Like a few, I shopped on line before visiting, reading all reviews. Commonwealth VW had far more positive than negative, but, those neg's stuck with me. So I'd bet cash my wife and I would immediately run into an "unprofessional" employee the moment we stepped on the lot. After spending a few hours at Commonwealth VW with both Holly Setiadi and Jim Wren, both my wife and I cannot envision how a "poor experience" could even begin to occur with the Staff at Commonwealth. Clearly, those few "neg reviewers" chose the wrong dealership name. I did not expect to drive home in our new VW CC today. The calmness and truthfulness of both Holly and Jim kept us there. So weirdly nice and relaxed was this auto purchase with Holly and Jim, that my wife and I are taking our daughter down this Friday to Commonwealth VW to shop their Pre-owned certified Jetta's.

I never take the time to write reviews, but I have never had such a positive experience buying a car ever. I have to credit SHAWN for our positive experience! I initially looked at their online prices ( I recommend doing that before you go in so you know what's currently available), and I guess was assigned to Jim? I just went in to the dealership and didn't schedule an appointment with him (Sorry Jim!) but when I met him later not only was he cordial, but he was also extremely helpful and nice. He even gave us this nice VW keychain which made me feel like less of a jerk for not contacting him before coming in. Shawn showed us lots of cars, and was very straightforward with us with price, value, etc. He never once was pushy about buying, and didn't rush us to make any decisions. I hate hard sells, so that wouldn't have worked well with us anyways, but still I liked his laid back style and positive attitude.As for the dealership itself, I will say that their used cars on the lot that aren't VW's are ok, but if you look at the certified VW pre-owned they have up front you get a much better deal! Factory warranty plus another two years I think, plus price typically has some built in equity in the cars. I looked up the values on KBB and truecar to make sure the prices were fair, and the car actually booked higher then what they were selling it for. Shawn told us there wasn't any wiggle room on the cars as far as price was concerned, but he still managed to take car of all of our concerns and worked with us to make the deal work.We went in with financing from our bank so the purchasing process didn't take long, and even the financing guys were really great. We ended up finishing with Erik (sorry if I spelled that wrong), who was funny and made the process quick and easy.I bought a used 2012 Passat, black exterior and beige interior and honestly I love it. This is the 6th brand car I've had, with everything ranging from old Chevrolets to new BMW's and I think this is the best car I've ever owned. I'm not exaggerating though when I say that Shawn MADE OUR EXPERIENCE!! I've had bad sales reps, decent sales reps, and good sales reps, and Shawn was by far the best my wife and I have ever had. In all honesty, we probably bought the car because of him. haha Anyways, Thanks Shawn for such a great experience, and everyone at VW Commonwealth! We'll be back!

Great service and overall experience. We had a less than stellar experience the night before (at a different VW dealer) and went to Commonwealth hoping to have a better experience. We arrived with the intent of turning in a p lease and getting into a payment that would be comparable. Holly showed us a Jetta GLI that we (same car we were turning in) and took it for a test drive. We asked about the TDI Jettawagen that we were looking at the previous night. We ended up bringing an Ad that showed a TDI Jettawagen at a very good price from the aforementioned dealer. It was a long shot to see if they would match or get close. They were willing to match and gave a more than fair price on the Jetta GLI. During the entire process we felt like Holly was our advocate and that, he had our best interests in mind (price). Never once, did we feel like a number or a taken advantage of and that really says a lot about a car salesperson. We did not have the incredible wait times while they spoke with their manager from when we agreed upon the price we were in the finance office in about 30 minutes. This leads to the next part of the car buying process that can be a pain, the dreaded finance person. It seems like their only goal is to sell you everything under the sun to make your payment higher and higher. This was not the case, Erik took great care of us, was very open about the finance process, and what ultimately led to the payment. I know that seems like we did not know what we would be getting into, but too often payments start at one number then become bloated with extras. This did not happen since we were able to make sure the agreed upon price included any extras that we wanted. All in all if youre in the market for a VW there is only one thing to do go to Commonwealth and see Holly. Hell take great care of you and work for you.

This is my second Volkswagen from Commonwealth. The first one I bought the sales man was not pushy at all which is why I decided to come back for my second. This time I had Shawn helping me. He was extremely transparent with EVERYTHING. He made me feel like his friend and took really good care of me. Any questions I had were answered throughly and truthfully. I was upfront with him and told him generally what I was looking for, and confirmed that they have my car in their stock. I had a price in mind, and wasn't going to budge much, just because I had other less luxurious options that I was completely happy with down the street. I made my way to the dealership, met with Holly, and to make a not so long story shorter, I was able to drive home with a Passat that is much more upgraded than I had in mind for less than what I initially had in mind to pay, and all in less than 2 hours. I bought a used Infiniti M45 from Commonwealth Volkswagen in September 2014. When I first went to look at the car, I didn't know I'd buy exactly this one, but the employee let me thoroughly inspect it and let me test drive it without any deposits or signing forms. A week later, I returned to buy that car. I contacted their internet sales department and when I came into the dealership, documents were ready and the car was very clean inside and out. All process took less time than I expected, and the customer service was great. And it wasn't even a Volkswagen that I bought. Definitely would recommend this dealer.

Recently bought my 2015 vw gti here and it was a great experience. Olias Lynch not only got me the exact car and color I wanted from another dealer but match the lowest offer I got from another dealer. I told Olias I wanted a quick buying experience and not a drag on negotiation when I get to the dealership. Olias's professional attitude and the willingness to help a customer was what got me into the door. On the day I went to the dealership to fill out paperworks, I was greeted by Mark Hewison (Olias was off for his birthday so Mark was helping finalize the deal) and he was equally great. Mark was very courteous and was very helpful throughout the entire process. If you are going to buy from this dealer...ask for these two gentlemen.One thing fell short was the finance "manager" guy. I'm not going to mention any name but he was the total opposite of Mark and Olias. It's like the guy unwilling to make it easy for me to purchase a car. I had my finance approved through my credit union so I could make this deal quick and easy. He on the other hand did everything he could to make it harder. I had to come back the next day to give him the check from my credit union for the remaining balance on the car and he did everything he could to make it harder for my credit union to finalize the loan in order for me to get the check. Once I got the check to him, I asked him for a receipt to prove that I paid for the car in full because on my the sale contact it stated that I have to pay the car in full in 5 days in order for me not to use the dealer's finance. The guy said I don't need a receipt...it's a 30k transaction...of course I need a receipt and it's not that hard to provide me with a receipt. Luckily, Mark Hewison saved the day by stepping in and told me he will sign the copy of the check and stated that I paid in full on that day.All in all, it was still a positive experience for me because of Olias Lynch's and Mark Hewison's unbeatable customer service. If it wasn't for the negative experience with the finance guy...I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer to everyone I know. If you are going to buy a car from this dealer...give your business to Mark and Olias because they truly deserve it. Also have your finance line up and just get through the finance guy as fast as possible so you can enjoy your new car.

I made the drive from North Hollywood to CommonWealth VW. Jim was my salesman; very personable and sincere. The facility was spotless clean~ being a Sunday there was ample staff and everyone was neat and professional. The vehicle was in pristine condition, the process was clear and concise. I read the reviews prior to making the trek down there, and am glad that I went there to feel the place out. A very pleasurable and easy experience. They gave me top dollar for my trade-in, and were price competitive on the "new-to-me" vehicle. All in all about a 1-2 hours process from SCRATCH to drive-off. I couldn't have been happier.

I brought my car in for a tire replacement. I called ahead to make an appt and when I dropped my car off, I was informed that the tire was not ordered yet and I had to leave my car over the weekend. They said my car would be done on Monday.By 4pm on Monday, no one from service called me, so I had to call and inquire about the status of my vehicle. The representative told me my car was completed and I could pick it up whenever. I did not have time to pick-up my car on Mondy evening.On Tuesday morning, they called me and aksed for the Fleet telephone # to have the bill paid (since this is a fleet vehicle). I was driving at the time, so I told them I would call back with the telephone#. Ten min later, service called me back and said they found the telephone# and that my vehicle was all take care of and I could pick-up the car whenever.I did not have a chance to go pick-up the car until Friday. When I got there on Friday, I was told I had to pay the bill. I told the cashier that the service consultant (Sam Gilani) called me on Tuesday and told me Fleet paid for everything already. I requested to speak to the service consultant (Sam Gilani), but he was not working that day. The Parts Manager (Brian Luke) overheard my conversation with the cashier and came out and confronted me. He had the audacity to say that are all you people in the pharmaceutical field always so angry and uptight? Instead of apologizing and saying that he would look into the matter for me when Sam Gilani returns, he said we all make mistakes so I should not be so angry and uptight.I just cannot believe how rude and unprofessional he (Brian Luke) was. Obviously the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Everyone is giving you different information and they don't know what theya re talking about.I will let Fleet (Wheels) know that Commonwealth Volkswagen service is terrible!!!!!!!!!!

I have taken my car there for service issued from when I first bought the car- worst service I have experienced anywhere. The first time I took my car in they said they would have a loner car and the car they tried to loan me was a hunk of junk- they ended up giving me a Volkswagen to drive after having to get the guy I bought the car involved- the 2nd time I took it in and did get a volkswagen, but problem still not solved with my car. Took it in today , I had made my appt last week and wanted to make sure I was going to have a Volkswagen loaner car and not have to deal with the Enterprise there. Was garaunteed that I would have a Volkswagen to drive when I got there. None available, was told by Sam that they were busy on Saturday and gave them all out. Now if I was promised one, shouldn't they have saved one for me????? I had to go through Enterprise again, car not as bad as the 1st timem but still.I will never go back to that dealership ever!!!! I work in the insurance business and people are alway wanting recommendations and I can gaurantee I will let them know how bad they are there. Horrible.

I was at this location for about an hour, and after specking with four different salesman, I decided that this location wasn't a good location to buy a car from. In addition, they ran my credit and sent my application over to more then three banks without my Authorization.

Florin Nista, our salesperson, spent hours with us comparing cars and trying to find us the best deal that fit our needs. He stayed with us every step of the way, he was there during all of the paperwork and there while we paid. My family and I stopped by to check out a car I saw on cars.com, and was about to leave after test driving, to think about it, and to look at other vehicles also. But one of the staff (T.C) stopped me on the way out and said: "What does it take for you buy the car today. What is your best offer"? I gave my offer (lower than sticker price), and he said "OK, let's do it"! So we parked again.. When we came in, and thought we could just sign the paperwork and take off (our credit score is 754), he went back on his word and said he needed to check with the manager first, despite his promise.. The manager said no, and we took off with a bad impression of this dealership. Why make a promise outside and bring us in AGAIN, when he could not sell the car for the price we agreed on??? Such a waste of time for us and him.. I will buy a car this week, since we need it for or trip Memorial Day weekend, but I will not buy from this dealership based on my impression today.

For two consecutive maintenance visits, I have had the misfortune of dealing with service advisor David Aguilar. This guy functions for this VW location as no more than an unscrupulous up-selling salesman, which as bad as it is, I don't even mind. What the main reason was why I have evaluated their customer service as bad is that if you refuse service on that particular visit for any reason, he takes it personally and threatens to bump your car to the end of the queue at the end of the day. If you do not have a back-up means of transportation (especially for someone like myself who lives across the county) you're left stranded. He mandates that you're not allowed to leave the premises. This dealership has the absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. Not only have they broken something on my tough every time I have went to them, it's always a complete mess of grease on my interior door handles. They also shredded my steering wheel, and did not offer and repair options nor call for follow up. Highly recommend AGAINST this dealer.

Found the 08"Lincoln Nav I wanted and made the trip from Vegas to Santa Ana CA. and the salesman and manager were awsome to work with. My credit is well above needed and traded in was made but still waiting to hear back on credit manager for final close. Other then that this is a great company to work with.

This dealership used to be fine. Now under "newish" management their customer service is horrible. Their porter damaged a new car while detailing it as we were signing the loan papers. Their repair did not take and they further damaged the car while gassing it up. The car spent days in the dealership held hostage while the dealership scrambled to get parts. The only offer of compensation offered for our multiple trips and time off work was a free two day stay at some place in Sedona, AZ which would cost us more money to get there and more time off of work. They treated us as though they were doing us a favor fixing items damaged by their employees. This was very disappointing to a repeat customer (this was the 4th car we bought there). We rated this under "service and auto body" because even though we were buying a new car, all of the problems stemmed from the porter detailing the car and then having to deal with the service department to get it fixed (which it still is not). We always felt that we got a fair price and they had a nice selection for buying new cars, although we never serviced our cars there. However, now even for our future purchasing we now can't trust that their porters won't damage the new car while signing loan papers. All of the service department employees are very rude, impatient and act like they are doing you a big favor. We've made a couple of calls to the General Manager, Mike W., who claimed in a letter that if they failed to exceed our expectations he would like to speak with us. Those messages went unreturned.

this purchase marked my first great experience in a VW dealer. The staff were courteous, responsive, especially that my desired color trip was not available at this location and had to be delivered from elsewhere. Environment was also welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed their refreshments while the sales process was being taken place. in less than 3 hours I had purchased a new car. Thanks guys :0 )

Purchased new Jetta in May 2010 and within two weeks it exhibited an intermittent problem with radio reception. Service staff attempted to place blame for problem with window tint which was installed AFTER the reception problem was demonstrated. Multiple phone calls to service department went un-returned. After five visits over nine months to service department for this issue and several emails to VW of America, problem seems finally to have been corrected by a software patch installed on last service visit. Additional phone calls to service department regarding potential issue with instrument panel lighting have gone un-returned. Messages left on Commonwealth's website have also gone un-returned. Purchase experience with this dealership was good and price fair, but service department gets an "F".

This is my first Volkswagen and I choose the 2011 GTI. Not only did they have the one in stock I wanted, but they gave me a good price on the vehicle. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed the Starbuck's coffee. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Commonwealth Audi to my friends and family. Thank you Tsulyn and Commonwealth Volkswagen! I love my new GTI.

simply horrible customer service. you never get a call back and everyone at service desk has attitude issues. I'm not sure how well they do in terms of sales, but they don't look like they'll last very long..not with the quality of their service. Especially, if something goes wrong after you return your leased vehicle and you need their help to straighten out the problem, forget it! Apparently they think it's a done deal and no matter how many times you call the person in charge, they either don't answer or ignore your phone messages.

I was in the market for a new A4 and George was able to really make my life easy through that whole process. After working with him I know I will never going anywhere else to buy another Audi. George was able to make me feel comfortable through the whole purchasing experience. I really appreciated how he walked me through the whole dealership, and introduced me to the service and parts people so I know where to go for my first service and if I am ever in need of any accessories. I had the best car buying experience I have ever had in my whole life. It was fast, easy, and hassle free. I will most certainly be going back to Commonwealth Audi for my feature vehicle needs.

Let me begin by saying that in the past several years I have been going to McKenna HB for service and warranty repairs. I am glad that I found Commonwealth Volkswagen Service Dept. At one point I was let to believed that incompetence is status quo in VW service departments because of a consistent poor performance shown by McKenna VW service dept. staff. Speaking with Larry on the phone, who is a Service rep. in Commonwealth, gave me hope for VW. The DSG service required for my car at 40,000 miles was competitive Once I dropped my GTI with Larry, he took care of several issues at once. I was given answers to all of my questions with confidence and respect.

I visited Commonwealth dealership on July 4th to buy a used VW Rabbit. The initial sales went well, the financing person was fabulous. He processed my papers with ease and gave me the papers so that I can get a check from my Credit Union. I actually left the dealership thinking "What a GREAT experience!" Unfortunately for me, I thought too soon! After you signed the papers, you better hope to God you never have to go back for anything else. If you do, then you are OUT OF LUCK! I didn't pick up my car the day off as I had to arrange for someone to drive my other car home. I wasn't worried as I had to go back to the dealership anyways to pay off my loan with the check from my credit union. I arranged with my sales person to pick up my car the next day after 6pm. The next day approached, I called in advance to inform James I was on my way. When I arrived, James told me that he forgot and my car was not ready. I called 20 minutes in advance to warn him! How is this possible?! I had to wait over an hour to get the car.Then I noticed I did not have floor mats. He told me when we were test driving that the car comes with floor mats, they just take it out to keep them clean. I drove back AGAIN to ask. James looked surprised, ask me to wait so he can ask. He came back all apologetic, telling me they lost the mats but will order some for me. He asked me if I can come back in a couple of days to pick them up. I left and showed back up a few days later like he suggested. This time he told me some excuse about how it is VERY difficult to get 2007 vw rabbit floor mats and they needed to make a special trip to Ontario or something to pick them up. Can I please come back again and he will call me. 10 days passed and no call, I called him and he told me no problem, come by, they are there. Again, I called him 20 minutes before I go to the dealership the THIRD time. When I showed up, James was no where in sight, no mats anywhere and no one can help me. 45 minutes goes by and James finally shows up. Again all apologetic, ask for me keys and drove off with my car. 10 minutes later, he comes back and there was floor mats in the car. I started the car to leave and noticed HE DID NOT GIVE ME MATS FOR THE BACK!!!Again I go back inside the dealership to ask ---"NOW THIS IS THE KICKER OF THE STORY!!"THE GUY LIES TO MY FACE!!!!! HE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT VW DOES NOT MAKE FLOOR MATS FOR THE BACK SEAT OF RABBIT!!!!!!!!!!!By this time, I am so frustrated that I did not even want to argue anymore. I even offered to pay for floor mats but he was adamant that they do not make them. HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE WEB? One question on google and I found several sites selling Rabbit floor mats, EVEN FOR THE BACK!!!Long story short, James (I wish I remembered his last name!) is not to be trusted! If you have to buy a car at Santa Ana VW Commonwealth, try to avoid James. He is only interested on the sale, he will promise you the world that he has NO intention of keeping. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!

Not only did I get more than what was promised, they made the process simple and easy, even taking my old lease off my hands by paying the last two payments and taking it back to the dealership where I purchased it.

I visited 15 dealers in SoCal. I really looked at cars, I went to four VW dealers and Commonwealth was hands down the most amazing, friendly, awesome, knowledgeable dealer around. (The Mazda dealer in Tustin was ok too.) I contacted Greg, my sales guy, via the internet. I had a good price from another dealer, I asked if he could give me a better price. Greg made me a better price over the internet. A two line email, just a better price, and please give me a call if you want to test drive. That two line email contained the best price of all four VW dealers, by ALOT. And, no haggle! He was the most knowledgeable sales rep, I know, I did a lot of research too, he knew just about everything (I asked some crazy questions). Other sales guys didn't know things, or they lied to me. Both big negatives. Greg never made me feel pressured, he listened to me rant about my anxiety, and he was funny. And nice. I know this sounds crazy, but I want to go back for services. Oh, by the way, the TDI Jetta is a dream machine. The power of a six cylinder engine, with the gas mileage of a manual shift Golf! Awesome.

We found a "used" VW Beetle on line that was beautiful,low mileage and below market value. We decided to check it out.We met Derek, explained our needs and he took it from there.He professionally and yet ,very personally led us through the options of purchasing this vehicle,while at the same time answering our every question about a "new" vehicle purchase. As it turned out we were able to get a brand new VW Beetle with a great price,great warranty and for very little more than had we purchased the used car. Derek made us feel very at ease and even tolerated our questions and nervous chatter all in a very "real and personal" way, making this the absolute BEST buying experience we have had in 36 years of marriage. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a car.Robert dealt with the financial aspect of our loan and was very pleasant,personable and made us feel welcomed and at ease.Again this part took WAY less time than at other dealerships we have dealt with over our life together. We drove from the Westside of Los Angeles all the way out to Santa Anna to buy a Volkswagen Jetta at Commonwealth. We found the car on the internet and so we dealt directly with OJ Dawoodi, the eCommerce director for the dealership. OJ is a very special and unique kind of car salesman. Yes, he very much wants to sell you a car, but he does so in an extremely friendly and easy-going manner. He took a great deal of time and effort to help us get fully acquainted with the car we were interested in, and he helped make the buying process the easiest and most painless we've ever experienced. Bryan Martin in the finance office was also very friendly and helpful. We got the exact care we wanted at a price that made us very happy. All in all, OJ and the other people at Commonwealth we came in contact with all made us feel welcome and relaxed, and treated us as though they genuinely appreciated our business.

This is the worst dealership for Volkswagen!! Dont goto this guy for anything!!! I took my car (Passat 2001)for 60k service and they called me in the evening and told me that my car has problem with Tierods that connects Steering and axial and it costs me 900$$ to change them! I never reported that problem and they say it was there all the time. Finally I fought for that and I spoke to Manager who drove the car for test run and told me that it was their problem that haven't tighten the nut for left wheel!!! If I haven't fought for that, I would have ended up paying 900$$ just to tighten the nut!!!
