We found the Car on Cars.com at Walnut Creek Honda. Price was low and we called. We talked to Luis Padron. From the outset we had a feeling that this dealership is either joking about the price or we will have deal we cannot say NO. We called 4-5 dealers in neighborhood of Los Angeles. They all said we are taken for a ride. So we asked Luis to put in writing and he was very polite and he did. We applied for credit at dealership's secured website and within 10 minutes we were approved. We drove to Walnut creek from Bakersfield as we wanted to believe it. There it was. The 2012 Honda Civic Car with less than 100 miles on it, and a unbelievable price. In 300 miles radius no one could beat the price and actually played it down. Even the used 2011 Honda Civic with 20,000 miles had more price than we were offered. What can we say more? We want to thank John (Manager) and Luis (Sales person above par ) and Jack (Financing)for unbelievable service and care. Within 30 minutes of reaching we were in car driving home. Please please .. don't buy a car until you call this sales person and this dealership. May God bless the owner of this dealership. I am a engineer and not connected at all to anyone at this dealership. It was our first trip and a memorable one.

Eric Carr you are the best!!! We were searching around for new honda civic, got call from Eric Carr, internet sales representative from walnut creek honda. on the phone he was very polite and knowledgeable, understand our needs, he showed perfect expertise and also gave us a very good price. We decide to go there first, before any other places. Cutting story short, it was only dialer we went to, because we did not need to go anywhere else. Eric Carr was very good to us , he got a best dial for us,it took him some time to negotiate between store manager and us. It was last friday 1/27/12. car we were looking for, was for our son, he was at work that day. So we agreed with Eric, that we come on saturday and make a purchase. Eric ask us to email to him, our son's driver license number and proof of insurance to speed up process on saturday. So, we came on saturday, park the car and went inside to look for Eric, on the parking lot, was the car we choose the day before, with the note on front window " sold to .......". Remarkable service. We went inside and spend about 1 hour to do a paper work, that all. Everything was perfect, we got the car we wanted and extremely pleasant sales person. If you want new honda, call Eric Carr and go there.

I recently bought my 3rd vehicle from Walnut Creek Honda and this one was a lease for my daughter Lauren who is leaving for college. Our first Honda is still running like a top and it has over 111,000 miles. It is hard to beat the reliability of a Honda and the re-sell, if we ever choose to sell ours stays strong. Before we bought this last car we shopped around on both the internet and also 2 other dealerships, but I just didn't get the same vib and experience we did with Mike and Walnut Creek Honda. The thing that really blows me away is that we service all of our Honda cars (and the Edge truck) at the dealership and I was blown away that they actually remembered my name, still don't know how they did that? But, it was pretty cool.The reason I am taking the time to write this is because it seems that people usually only take the time to complain but never take the time to pat someone on the back. When we got down to the delivery of the car we were pretty specific about what we wanted and another sales guy there Eric Carr (sp?) stepped in and helped us on Mike's day off. It was a seamless transition between Mike and Eric and I felt like they really cared about me as a person, not just my sale. I am sure someone could promise to save me a hundred bucks, but to me service and respect are just as important and I think that is something worth noting. Tom - Concord

I would recommend purchasing your next Honda from a dealership other than Walnut Creek Honda.My husband found the car of his dreams at this dealership and decided to take a trip to look at the car. The next day he and I went to buy it and were very disappointed by the experience. The sales people argued with each other at length in front of us about another customer's missing paperwork, they were not very friendly or attentive to us even though it was Christmas Eve and we were among some of the only customers in the place. My favorite part of the visit was when my husband and I heard our salesperson talking to the manager about us in the cubicle across the aisle; specifically how he was surprised my credit was as good as it was. The salesperson also told his manager that my husband and I were behaving strangely and felt the need to say this to his manager within earshot. After our salesperson had checked our credit we waited in the finance office to sign the paperwork even though the place was empty. The finance guy pushed a warranty repeatedly and aggressively even after my husband politely declined several times.We didn't haggle over the price and put a significant amount of cash down for this car. I was confused and upset by the way we were treated and couldn't wait to get out of there. If this car had been available anywhere else I would have insisted we buy it from another dealership.

Bought a used Mustang from this dealership. The finance dude pushed his service contract. I refused. He mentioned that convertible tops often break, so it'd be a good idea. Sounded logical so I took it.Fast forward two years later. The convertible top did, indeed, break, but...wait for it...IT'S NOT COVERED BY THE SERVICE CONTRACT!!!LESSON: DON'T TAKE THE SERVICE CONTRACT AND DON'T TRUST HONDA.
