I walked in here knowing what car I wanted, not 100% sure I was ready to purchase, but willing to see what this place could offer, and my expectations were met and exceeded. I was directed to John V., who let me drive the Outback style I wanted, while the actual car I wanted got unblocked on the lot for me to look at. I knew I needed to trade in my current car and I knew what I wanted to get out of it. John went to bat for me to get an amount that was acceptable to me for trade in, and also he helped me purchase the car of my DREAMS. I spent a few short hours getting this process done from start to finish and it was an absolute pleasure working with John to get this accomplished! I was able to drive off the lot the same day and when I forgot some things in my old car, John made sure I knew and could come get them when it was convenient for me! 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Subaru! My daughter needed a new tire and rim on her Crosstrek due to a run-in with a pothole. It was a great experience. The service was performed in a timely and professional manner. The standout was the service person (Hip) who helped her when she initially came in and who helped me when I picked up the car. Hip handled ordering the needed parts and scheduling the repair quickly and kept us informed during the process. When she dropped it off and when I picked it back up, Hip got us in and out the door very quickly. It is nice to work with someone like Hip who values his customers’ time and works to make the process seamless.

I was given pricing online (Troy Lynn) and it was much less than another dealer. Went in and purchased the vehicle. No issues. We did have a trade and an offer from Texas Direct. With less tax on the new vehicle, I came out about $500 more than Texas Direct.

Dishonest sales person. I contacted West Houston Subaru online and ask if this location was a authorized dealer under the COSTCO program. I was contacted by Ryan Nguyen and he stated YES this location was part of the COSTCO program and sent me a price on a vehicle I was interested and clearly in the quote it states COSTCO price. I was then told I only had 5 days to put down a deposit of $500.00 although the vehicle was in transit and not available for 15-30 days. After the deposit was made I was told the deposit was non refundable. I told Ryan that I had a vehicle to trade and that a dealer in the Dallas area offered me 13,750.00 as the vehicle is in excellent condition. Well 20 days later I get a call that the car is in and we can drive 250 miles to get the new car. When we get there as he holds your deposit as ransomed, the dealer low xxxxx the trade in ($12,000.00) in hopes you cave in. I got up and walked out. drove to Gillman Subaru, who is a COSTCO dealer. I saved over $2,000.00

I purchased a used Honda Accord from Vince Ramacca awhile back and still feel that it was the best decision that I could have made; this is why: I looked all around the country for the best deal that I could find on a used Toyota Corolla and West Houston Subaru had it, so I got in touch with a sales guy by the name of Vince Ramacca. Vince spoke with me and confirmed that he had the Toyota in stock, he also confirmed the sales price and car details. After talking to him for awhile he started to understand the reasons behind why exactly I wanted the that particular vehicle. After listening, he began to let me know that I had other options based upon my ideal vehicle criteria. He was not pushy or like a typical car salesman but rather informative and understanding. We went back back and forth via email for a some time and I finally decided on a lightly used Honda Accord. He took the effort and the time to work with me to find the perfect car that fit my needs/wants. I was not just another "sale" like I had been at every other dealership that I spoke with. A few weeks after our initial discussion, I flew down to Houston from Kansas City and Vince even went so far as to pick me up from the airport in the Honda that I ended up purchasing!!! He had me out and on my way within a few hours and to this day, I feel that Vince made all the difference in my purchase satisfaction. I will be purchasing all of my cars from Vince in the future and my family has done and will do the same. In all, I have never found a more caring, professional or intelligent car salesmen than Mr. Ramacca. In addition, I don't typically write reviews, but I feel that the service I received at West Houston Subaru and with Vince truly warranted a great review because they went way above and beyond the call of duty for me!

COMPLETELY DEGRADING TO WOMEN. Joe was/is absolutely the most disrespectful, disinterested, arrogant salesperson my daughter has ever dealt with. Laughed at her questions and lectured her on how dumb he thought her questions were. Far more interested in talking down to her than in helping her determine if their used Impreza was the right car for her. It appears that Joe has had other complaints from people mad enough to post a complaint, yet he still works there. What does that say about Joe's bosses? If you are a woman, don't even bother wasting your time with these people.

This is my first Subaru in 20yrs. Things have really changed in that time so driving a new one is a whole new learning experience. Our sales person Joseph went over and beyond in helping us my girlfriend and i in buying a car. We bought a 2014 Forester. My girlfriend needed convincing about a Subaru but after test driving it she fell in love. The whole experience from going there to buying the car was fantastic. Very nice and helpful people and no pressure at all. West Houston Subaru is the way to go.

Can never get ahold of the service department. Always have to leave a voice mail and then they never return the call. Also, seems like they never call when the car is ready. I always have to call them. They always give the same answer; "We're taking it for a test drive now." "We just got done." "We're washing it right now." Poor service department.

BUYERS BEWARE BUYERS BEWAREYes this would be even more helpful if you all wouldn't try and screw everyone buying a car from you. You would be able to help more people and pets out! I tried to buy and they jacked price way up on me after putting deposit on car that is non-refundable and working with sales and management all day. Manager Gerald tells me you can't buy that for that price you have a new price. This place is a joke! I am a current owner of a Subaru and wanted to buy a 2015 Subaru but because of how this place operates and is shady I will not be able to....

This was the absolute fastest auto purchaces that I have ever experienced. I knew what I wanted. I called the salesman ahead of time. He had the truck waiting for me when I got there. We went on a test drive, came back went to his office, did a little paperwork. He went to his managers office and came back with an approval. Basiclly that was the end of the process except finance manager. And that was even quick.

I wet to the dealer to see a car advertised in cars.com. When we got there, my wife and I walked the lot looking for the car and a salesperson and w found neither. We went into the offices and we found two gentlemen having a conversation. They asked us if we needed any help and told us that a salesperson will be with us. We waited and after nobody came, we walked out. On a way to our car, a salesperson came out and asked us if we needed "anything". We asked for the car we came there for. He said " I sold the car but it had major engine problem so he had to take the car back and give the buyer the money. The car was no good" he said. We thanked him and walked out. He didn't even tried to ask if we needed a car nor attempted to show something else. What a joke of a salesperson and dealer. We went to CARMAX AND BOUGHT A CAR WITHOUT ANY HASSLE AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!

I got a brand new 2013 VW Jetta 2.5 SE on Saturday - 13th of July.Happy with the decision and I hope I will enjoy the car.I had a great customer service offered by the sales agent. Very Polite and professional. (definitely, it was decisive), but I cannot say the same in regards to the manager. Very rude and turned very angry when I did not accepted the counter-offer he made me, standing up after knocking hard the desk, being not polite at all, front of me and my wife. It almost made me give up the deal. Very important to say that he had NO power to honor the offer sent out to me by email, from this dealer, offering a TV + Dinner for 2 in a Brazilian Churrascaria + $200 gas card for any deal with any vehicle. He was able to release only the TV, after I added this, that was supposed to be a free gift, to the condition to close the deal. Since the manager could not comply with this, I requested a call back from a higher positioned Manager, maybe able to honor the offer, and, it is been already a week and I have never received this call. It made me frustrated, despite of the great service I had from the agent and the, so far, great car I've got. Very sad with the situation and hoping that it is not related to any possible discrimination.

Very bad experience.. Will never set foot there. I was there to buy a used Subaru. The first thing the guy Mohamed tells, it is a wonderful car. But he doesn't have any inspection report. On more questions he says inspection is not done on any of the used cars and he wouldn't do an inspection on this one either. The state inspection had also expired. Just for my peace of mind, I paid $90 to their own service department for a simple 27 point inspection (most garages do a 56 point inspection free of charge when you do the oil change). Atleast the service guys found out the valve case is leaking oil, the front brakes are bad and would not pass state inspection, oil is bad, front links bad etc and quoted $600. Mohamed wouldn't get the repairs done or reduce the price. After further negotiation Mohamed's boss reduced the price by $300 after I agreed to get the repairs done at their shop. All this happened and I was ready to buy the vehicle. I called the finance person at around 6:30 PM talked about the payment terms, they couldn't sell me at that point of time as the state inspection was done. Called Mohamed and confirmed to buy the car the next morning immediately after they completed the state inspection. Next morning I called to check the status and guess what ? Mohamed says a lady bought the car the previous night after I called. Its SOLD !! So just for trying to buy somehting from WEST HOUTON SUBARU, I lost $90 loads of time and ended up with frustration..

Dishonest. Highly frustrating and disappointing experience. I wanted to buy a used Subaru listed in cars.com. The sales guy Mohamid was saying it is a great car. But he didn't have the inspection report or any records of the car. After many questions he agreed they never do an inspection on their used cars. So Mohamid said it will be done the next morning and I could come and get the delivery. I call the next morning, Mohamid says a lady came and bought the car at 7:30 PM. Its SOLD !!. Thats what you get when dealing with WEST HOUSTON SUBARU. A $90 loss, loads of wasted time, frustration and disppointment.

Pro: 1. Best price beat all other dealers in Houston and nearby. You know that's the most important. 2. Very good service altitude, the sale manager is nice and patient to customer. Much much better than other dealers in this area. Con: Slow in processing my loan application. The subaru advertisement '0.9%APR' has tough prerequisite and hard to get in reality. Overall: Highly Satisfied
