I took my CX-5 in for a squeak and loose bolt on the driver's door. Tracey handled my order and had everything ready when I got there. She had even reserved a rental car for me. I asked her how long the repair would take and she said to give them an hour and a half. In less than an hour she had called me to tell me my car was ready. I was greeted when I got there and walked out when I left. Outstanding customer service demonstrated. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I came in for an oil change. Instead of setting in lobby normal I started looking at RHD jeeps.I ended on the Madza side.Decided to test drive. On my first visit to Whitten Brothers I was greeted by Bill Edwards who listened to what I was looking for an found the MX5 Miata that I wanted. When advertising started for the 2016 I knew I wanted to trade up so I visited Bill again to see how I could get one. Friday, November 6 I got the call from Bill that my car was here. Working with Bill, Melvin, Justin and Lawrence were great. Dealer incentives, a great trade in and the best customer service. I highly recommend Whitten Brothers Mazda.

Brought my Jeep in for some routine maintenance and everything went smoothly. I definitely recommend the Whitten Advantage program that offers free routine oil and filter changes and the loaner car for the day. This is a great convenience for dropping off my car for service at 7:30am, having a car to get to work by 8am, and then coming back in the afternoon once all the work has been done without having to ask a friend for 2 rides in a day.

Whitten Brothers off of Midlothian Turnpike came through for me. What is mostly the dreaded experience turned out to be shockingly easy and rewarding. Everyone there was pleasant and nice, as they should be. What really set them apart I felt was my sales associate. I am in sales and deal with sales people all the time. It was truly luck I found someone I could talk to. Can't speak for all the salespeople there, but if you want to deal with someone who is respectful and will go the extra mile for you talk to Graham. I don't write reviews but I always read them before purchases. Graham Redfern showed me every car,truck,suv I wanted to see for over 2 hours. May not seem like a big deal but it was freezing artic weather with ice everywhere. He didn't say come back another day or its getting cold. He asked what else would I like to see and answered my questions. If you go by Whitten Brothers I would definitely make an appointment to see Graham because I think this guy should busy all day. He defintly was with me and my OCD nature. I would highly recommend giving them a look at your next purchase.

A little disappointed that when I picked it up it wasn't cleaned, even though I waited an hour. The electric door didn't work. The manager took care of this right away to my satisfaction. The door took a few days to get the part. They gave me a jeep to drive in the process. They delivered on everything they said. I am very pleased and will go there first when I need a vehicle in the future.

I did my homework and started my search for my 2015 Mazda 6. I found the Whitten internet site easy to use and unlike many dealers, they did not try to bait me in with some sort of ridiculous lowball number - a common marketing scheme where dealers will advertise a low price that includes every single possible discount - you only find out that you do not qualify for many of them until you have already invested time driving to the dealer, test driving, etc. Another point, they have real photos of the ACTUAL cars, not just stock pics. Also, they are responsive and quick to follow up on inquiries. Anyway, Whitten's price was fair, honest, and legitimate. The delivery process was smooth and hassle-free - they even took the time to bring the owner over from next door for a handshake and quick hello. This is the way car buying should be and I highly recommend.

I looked all over Maryland and Virginia for a 2014 Mazda Miata. Time and time again, dealerships wanted to sell me what was on their lots versus what I wanted. However, Whitten was the exception. I talked to Whitten's GM regarding my frustration with previous dealerships and my needs. GM located the exact car I wanted within 3 hours and we agreed on a price, over the phone, within 2 hours.I was met by the Sales Consultant upon arrival at Whitten Mazda. I received great customer service...from painless and efficient paperwork process to car being prepared and ready to go. I was in and out of Whitten in less than 2 hours. I found the entire car buying experience to be stress free and top notch.

I had my 1990 Miata in for a brake issue. It was "repaired" in such a way that I had to return it and have new pads and rotors installed. On a separate occasion, I had brought the same car in for service because it was running very rich and was throwing a code for the air flow meter. I was told that they would not work on the car because it is "too old" and because of all the "aftermarket parts". Yes, I have modified the car, but the engine internals, wiring, and engine management system are all original and unmolested. Huh. A Mazda shop that refuses to work on Mazda vehicles? Who would have thought. I interpreted that as either a lazy tech that didn't want to troubleshoot, or a lazy tech that couldn't figure out why there is no place to plug in an OBDII scan tool. It turned out that my issue was caused by a "repair" that was made by the service department in question on another unrelated visit.And last but not least, they swindled my wife out of $60 on a "free" oil change for her new Mazda 3. Take this advice for what it's worth - save yourself the aggravation and go to Pearson.

Just happened to travel from Palmyra to Richmond to see the Dolphin Gray Mazda Miata MX-5 Grand Touring roadster and determine if we liked the color. When I called, prior to leaving the house, Willie Stewart (Sales Manager) happened to answer the phone and confirmed the car was on the lot. Once we got there, Bill Edwards took care of my wife and I. This was the most pleasant experience I've had buying a car since everyone was so friendly. Even Chris Price (Business Manager) was great to wrap up the financial paperwork. Great job, everyone!!! We know where to go for our next Mazda!

I was greeted warmly, and once the paperwork was signed, I was escorted to the lounge. Ms. Rhodes told me to expect a minimum wait of 2 hours. Adam stopped by to tell me he had nearly finished servicing my car, and that everything looked good. In about 15 minutes, Ms. Rhodes escorted me to the cashier and showed me each service that was performed. Total time, slightly over 2 hours. I am very pleased.

Terrible service - Spent almost $5,000k in service and preventive maintenance on 2008 Mazda CX-9 over the last four years. Brought car in for slight shuddering, Whitten changed front cylinders, then back cylinder, then did not know what to do and now diagnosed that a torque converter/transmission replacement for $4000 is necessary. Steve Young is unprofessional and unresponsive. Still waiting for one of the owners to call me back.

My recent experience at Whitten Mazda was the best that I have ever had when purchasing a new car. From the start, Nathan Mathaney, Sales Consultant, was attentive without being over-bearing or pressuring me, and had extensive knowledge of the Mazda3i that I was interested in. His ability to understand exactly what I wanted in a new car is due to the fact that he genuinely listened to me when we talked. His easy going, friendly, polite personality is a wonderful asset to his expertise in the business, unsurpassed professionalism, no pressure, unhurried sales approach, and his genuine desire to help me find exactly the car that I want. Nathan is an exceptional salesman and a consummate professional, and I hope to have the opportunity to buy from him again. Likewise, Frank Howerth, Finance Manager, was as friendly as he was professional as he explained the financing options, contracts, and other options available to me - in a clear, easily understood manner. He was extremely helpful with my questions and concerns, and helped me to make the right decisions for my situation. And Sales Manager, Brian White, was equally friendly, as accommodating as possible, and an absolute professional in helping me determine the price for my new vehicle. I have had recent service, in that options that I ordered were put on my car, and every promise made by Nathan and the service manager was delivered exactly as I expected. This has been an enjoyable experience in every way, and I expect to be contacting Nathan Mathaney when I am ready to trade this car for another. I can not recommend this team of professionals more highly.

I just bought a new Mazda CX-5 from this dealer. Talk about a refreshing experience. I'd been comparison shopping through the internet, contacting all the dealers that MazdaUSA website listed as having the car I wanted in stock. This was one of the last ones I spoke to. I told them the best quote I had received, they beat it by a good margin and promised no additional fees. I drove an hour to pick up the car, and from the moment I stepped on the lot had an enjoyable experience. Every single person greeted me with a smile, Ben wasn't the least bit pushy about getting me to pay extra for any options or dealer add-ons that I didn't want. The other two ladies I worked with discussing extended warranty and other protection did a good job trying to sell me on a service that some people might want, but graciously accepted when I declined.Everyone was so friendly in fact, that my wife got a little annoyed we were spending too much time just chatting when she was ready to drive away in the new car haha. But that's hardly a negative. In sum, I was super pleased with Ben's ability to negotiate quickly over the internet, offer me a price much better than anywhere else, and close the deal quickly with no additional fees, as promised. I highly recommend Whitten Bros. Mazda.

Whitten Advantage is garbage -- Lifetime warranty on engine... not so much -- timing chain went bad on 2009 CX-7. They will not repair it because I don't have the receipts from where I changed my oil from the time they stopped doing it free (36k miles) to now (73k miles). I change my own oil! Who keeps receipts of cases of oil? They will find any way to get out of repairing something. There's always a loophole. I also had an extended warranty through easycare which covers up to 75k miles -- they denied the claim first. The service manager took pictures and sent to them to prove that maintenance was not the issue. Now I find out that the "Whitten Advantage" should cover it. So the people who were defending me and taking pics to prove I was in the right are now backtracking when they have to cover it under their "warranty" saying the same thing. That I didn't have the proper documentation of oil changes. What a bunch of crap. I will never buy from them again.

I bought my mazda 3 about 5 years ago. The salesman said that state inspections were free. So far, everytime I have brought my car for an inspection and service I have been charged for the "free" state inspection. They advertise on the TV, radio and their website that they will give you free inspections as long as you own the car. The only time I wasn't charged was when I had an inspection only. they hide the state inspection charge among the charges if you have a service done. I wonder how many other people were ripped off with these "free inspections"!!!

Went in for an oil change that I made an appointment for and spent the next 2 hours waiting for my car. Anywhere else even without an appointment I would be out in 30 minutes tops. Left message about my dissatisfaction and got no response until I emailed Mazda and then the response was well of course it took 2 hours we had to change a filter. Not even an apology was coming from them.
