My husband and I have been car shopping for a few weeks and I wish we would've come here to begin with. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had no problems getting information on the vehicles or the keys to the ones we wanted to start up. We ended up leaving with a great car at an awesome price. Thank you Armando for all your help. Well definitely be back when we are ready to buy another car

I have been a customer of WPAA for over 15 years now. The staff is always helpful and professional. I arrived after the live auction on Saturday and was able to leave with a great buy. I have purchased multiple vehicles from this location and have never had any issues. Would definitely recommend!!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a used vehicle. The process was stress free and pleasant. Mr. Billy was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and honest. He was able to find me a vehicle that suited my needs. Mr. Armando was informative great in attention to detail in walking me through the entire process. Mrs. Sara in the title department was kind and patient. I would highly recommend buying a car in Woodbridge Auto Aution. I’m super happy with my purchase. Amazing staff!! Super organized

The staff is helpful but expect to spend at least an additional $500 processing fee for any purchase between $1000-5000. Very covid-19 safe. The ladies room is in the showroom the men's in the back with the employees. The hand dryer is plugged in above and electrical outlet. Water and electricity is an accident waiting to happen.

I came in after making a reservation to test drive a car here. The salesperson, Billy, was very helpful. I decided not to purchase the car, and Billy was understanding and agreed to give me a full refund for the test drive reservation. Never felt pressured or forced into anything

Worst dealership I've ever dealt with. Wouldn't even do an oil change . Had to twist their arm to change a tail light so i wouldn't get a ticket. Have yet to receive my title to vehicle and temp tags are about to expire. Sales people are rude and don't want to talk to u. AND the quality of the vehicles they sell is horrible. I've done nothing but sink money into the vehicle I've bought. They lied about the vehicle period! Only reason they have one star is i I couldn't give a lower rating. Will never go back or recommend this sleazy dealership.

I bought a 2005 Toyota rav4 on the 4th of July and totally enjoyed my experience. Got a great deal also for a very clean SUV. Only issue is still haven't received my title after almost a month so now have to mk the long drive from MD bk to VA to get another 30 day tag from them till they get the title from whoever they got SUV from. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great car, truck, or suv. Thanks Woodbridge public auto auction!!! Deanna Bias

I purchased a used pickup truck from them. They said that it had passed inspection but come to find out it should have never passed inspection. The truck died on me block from there because the alternator was bad. They said that it wasn't and they had left a light on which is why it wouldn't start. Many other issues with this truck too many to list. Bottom line is this place is nothing but cheats, liars and frauds who take your money and laugh all the way to the bank. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN AND PROSECUTED FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

I went to look at a car today. The salesman was a good honest many great customer service and the car seemed like a great deal. I did tell him I was not finished looking for the day but I put a deposit down. PLEASE BEWARE EVEN IF YOU ARE TOLD DEPOSITS ARE REFUNDABLE THEY ARE NOT WITHOUT TALKING TO THE OWNER AND GETTING THEM IN WRITING! When I went to get the refund on the deposit I was promised if it has not been for my salesman having my back I would not have gotten it back. The owner called me a liar and was extremely aggressive toward me and the friend with me. I did get my deposit back thanks to my salesman backing me up but it was clear this is not their normal policy and the owners customer service is horrible.

I was impressed with the number of cars they had available. Most importantly, I was satisfied with my Sales person, Shane Tate. I found him to be direct, honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable of the cars on the lot. I brought a very well kept Silver Acura RL last week and my son was surprised - so happy to get that car! Thanks Shane.

We were looking for a cheap, but reliable car that we can use for at least one year before we go back to Europe and I think we found the right one - Toyota Corolla from 2005 . We were highly satisfied with the service of our agent Lucia as she was very helpful and honest during the test drive helping us to evaluate all the different characteristics of the car. I think we got a pretty good deal for the money and have been quite satisfied so far!

I went everywhere in MD looking for a car that fit my needs but wouldn't break my pockets. I rode pass and said well let me stop at this auction. I was very skeptical of auctions because I just bought a Honda Accord a few months back and the transmission went up two weeks after I got it! I was not happy going the auction route again. However, the team at Woodbridge was the best I have ever dealt with. They gave me the chance to really inspect and test drive cars to get the right one for me!!! It was a great experience. I worked with Doug and he was very nice and honest about certain cars that were no good for me. I ended up getting a 2004 BMW 325i for a cheaper price than anywhere I had found in MD. I took the car to a mechanic and he said the car was a great car with no issues whatsoever! I could have cried. After my story, all my friends want a car now!!! Will definitely go back if I ever need a car again!! Will recommend to all looking for their dream car without breaking the bank account.

Bought a car for $5000.... It hasn't been a month and the car is sitting in my parking lot dead. I called and spoke to a Philip and he said I could take the car some where else. I would not recommend them to a dying dog. They sell junk. I can't even sell the car for what I paid. They should be shut down. No stars for them.

I purchased 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid on 05/15/2015 and I was so impressed on how I was treated during the process. The test driving, negotiation and transaction were smooth and brief . The general treatment was okay, the time spent was reasonable as well. The lady Lucia was on top of the situation and she does her job right. she ensured the car was ready before I got to the location. She gave me an amazing service and even drove me to and fro the bank to carry out some quick transactions. I was really happy about everything.

bought a car from here on the way home check engine light came . . Went and Talk to the owner. He said you sign the papers that says you buying it AS IS NO WORRANTY He cursed me out and kick me out of the place embarrassing me in front of my family and other customers. This place is a rip off manassas public auto auction also own by the same people. If you have money to waist please donate to the poor. Don't buy cars from here. Now I'm stuck with scrap metal. they have erased the check engine lite right before the test drive. It normally comes back on after 30 minutes of driving after erased, If the problem still exists. My friend has a video of the conversation I had with the owner. Will post on the you tube.

This review is about their sister store in Manassas, Virginia, called Manassas Public Auto Auction. There was no way to leave a review about them, but since they have same primary ownership I believe the review fits.Scam artists is the description that best fits this dealer. We test drove a truck, it ran really well so we put in down payment of $6000, only financing $2900. We went to pick up the truck we bought and had to fill-in financing paperwork and as we left the parking lot, the truck didn't run right. We turned right around but since it was late, the dealer was then closed. We called the next day and they said tough luck, sold as is. We called again and then was told to bring it in the following week so they could look at it. They said they called the bank and they bank said since we bought a running truck, the truck should be running. We stopped by the auto store and they ran a diagnostic and we bought $1000 in parts to fix all the things wrong with the truck, per their codes. We have receipts. When we talked to the Manassas Auction place, they admitted to us the truck never should have been sold to us like this, a total piece of JUNK. Since we didnt trust them too much by now, we took it to a Ford dealer and they did a thorough diagnostic test. Ford said it was timing gears which cost another $1200 to be fixed. Then we called and Manassas Auction and they said bring it back and they will look at it. We did. They ordered part to fix it cheaper than Ford dealer, but then days later explained we should go ahead and take it to the Ford dealer because the manager had NO FAITH in his own mechanic because he ordered the wrong part. They said they talked to the bank who told them they had to pay $600 of the $1200 fix. So we picked up truck, took it back to Ford to be fixed it is still there now. In the meantime, we called the bank and the lady there said she never told the Manassas Auction place that they only had to pay $600. She told them they had to sell us a working truck since we financed it. So basically they LIED THROUGH THEIR TEETH. When we called Manassas Auction back to confront them, they said suck it up because we were lucky they gave us a penny towards fixing it. Really? We will have the last word, and the last laugh because we have EVERY RECEIPT and God as my witness, I am going on a campaign to let everyone know how shady the Manassas associate dealership does business. No one should buy a car or truck from them unless you want to piss away your money. They are LIARS (and you can call the bank and ask them too) and they are sneaky thieves!

Never Ever buy a car from here, EVER! I know what as is means but they should be selling half decent cars. Bought a car Saturday, drove it straight home, put in driveway and puddle of oil under car. While test driving it, Mark, my salesman said the smell was from new brake pads, nothing to worry about..It was not, it was oil and my mechanic says there are no new pads on it. It needs 900.00+ worth of work right off their xxxx lot. This place is horrible, Never Ever Buy a car from here..I called and was told, it was my job to test drive it and make sure it was a good car since it is as is. IT IS THEIR JOB TO SELL DECENT CARS..they claim to have mechanics on site,..what do they do all day?Nothing apparently. Horrible Place Just Horrible..I will leave a review like this everywhere, even on Craiglist..Might have been smarter for them to fix my car!!!!!

My story has a lot of layers, But they disabled the check engine light to sell me a car and I can't afford to fix it, and I can't register it, and my temporary plates are going to expire. At the end of the day I truly just want the money to fix the vehicle, or for them to accept the vehicle back and refund me my money. I want justice for myself and my family. Its the holidays, I have two small children and I couldnt even get them any gifts this year. I need a vehicle to get to school and to transport them. My husband needs his vehicle to get to work to support our family. I dont understand what would make a company so heartless. 5,000 dollars is a lot of money to just throw away, to be stuck with a vehicle I cant drive. I am praying for a miracle because our family truly doesnt have an additional 3,000 dollars to fix this vehicle right now. I dont know what to do, Woodbridge Public Auto Auction is the most heartless company Ive ever done business with in my life. These men looked me straight in the eye, while I had my small children in my arms and took advantage of me. You have to truly be heartless, greedy, lacking all moral fiber, to put a mother and her 2 children in a horrible situation like this. It is the middle of winter and in 2 weeks I may not have a vehicle. I have 2 more months of nursing school left and I dont know what I am going to do, Ive worked so hard all year, for it to end because I dont have transportation. This situation is just very overwhelming. However I am a true believer of what comes around goes around.

Let me begin by saying, yes, this is an "auto auction"...so if you are looking for the"usual" car buying experience,go to a reputable "dealership".I was in need of a car...i knew my budget,so i went online and found a car that was suitable for my needs, and it happened to be at "woodbridge".I could go into every detail of this"horrible" experience but it would be a novel.Long story short, the "salesman" guided me around the block for a 5 minute drive, not to exceed 40 mph due to the speed limit going around the block.I purchased the vehicle with a drivers side power window, and windshield wipers that didn't work, both of which were marked on the "VA INSPECTION CERTIFICATE" as working...(wouldnt pass inspection, unless they worked).I purchased the car at the end of January with 30 day paper tags while I was told it would be 7-10 days before my title arrived via certified mail.I first noticed a slight hesitation on my hour and a half drive home, but they had closed for the evening and i knew I had purchased the car "as is" so i went with it....needless to say the transmission went up a few weeks after the purchase.About 25 days after the purchase i recieve a call that they haven't recieved my title yet, that they were sending a second set of 30 day paper tags, with assurance that the titles are dropped off on fridays....that mine was due in that week.So now it's the middle of march,i have since spent between 500-800 dollars in a new regulator for the window and motor for the windshield wipers along with tow fees for when the transmission gave out,so after a few quotes and a "loan"...ive put out another 2500 for a rebuilt transmission. After all of this,i still was ok...the car had high miles,i did what I had too.So bring me to present day,my car is still sitting in the shop, and i recieve a call from the "title dept." once more(two days ago)telling me that they are having "problems" getting my title. As of march 21 the second set of plates expire and i can only recieve one more set.The lady proceeds to tell me that I can bring "my" car back, and they would be nice enough to put what i paid for my car toward another car off of the lot.So i proceed to tell her that ive already invested more money in the car that i paid for the car,why would i do that? Her responce?..." I will have to tell the "manager" and call you back".Havent heard back yet(two days later),havent recieved last set of 30 day tags(last set),and car is still in the shop.I have contacted a lawyer,to see what my options are,if they can't provide me with the title to the car they sold me....TBC

I purchased a vehicle from them and when I got it home I performed a thorough inspection of the vehicle. I found rusted water in the console, wet carpet, rusted bolts on the seat rails and screws. in addition, I found wet leafs behind the rear arm rest with want appears to be a water line around the entire interior. Although a VIN search indicates the vehicle is clear and has not been in a flood, objective evidence indicates this is a "FLOOD VEHICLE". The pre-sale Stae Inspections do not look at water damage (FLOOD VEHICLES). You cannot return the vehicle if the title is clear. Be very careful. DO NOT BUY unless you go ahead of time and really look at the cars carefully. HOW MANY MORE UNDOCUMENTED FLOOD VEHICLES do they have???? When the auction starts you can't determine what you getting and there is no return policy.

I was looking for a used car for my son and found a 2001 VW Jetta. The salesman lowered the price for me that was listed online by $600 and also had the car checked when the check engine light was one. I purchased it in 2009 and its still moving. This place sells a lot of cars so its hard to keep track of whats on the lot but they were helpful and I looked at a lot of cars and ran the car faxes myself. I would definitely go back. As its an auction, many cars come in but also many cars go out. Overall, it was a good experience.

I went in there with the intentions that i was going to get a decent car. I told the man what my budget was and i told him less than i really wanted to spend because i knew that he was going to go above my number. He showed me some cars and i was happy with what i saw. the first car he started up sounded funny so i didnt even want anything to do with it.. the next car he started i fell in love with so i asked him what was wrong with the car and he tells me that it just needs the cap changed because it has an oil leak, OK, made some phone calls, drove it around and signed the papers.. I then drove the car right to a mechanic, a mechanic that my parents, people i know, and people that i work with use and he looks at the car and says "take it back because it has a blown head gasket and you are going to end up spending more money fixing it than you did on it today" so i take it back and they tell me, as i expected, that there was nothing that they could do because i already signed the papers. So i tell them i dont want a refund because it clearly says no refund but i dont want the car.. now they send their ''mechanic'' to look at the car and drive it around and he tells me that there is nothing wrong with the car and that my mechanic was wrong. Needless to say i ended up just getting exchanged for a different car and on top of that they made me pay an extra 250 dollars. Now the previous car cost the same amount as the second car, (1900) but he brought the price down to 1650 for me (1st car), but wouldn't budge on the price on the second car, because the second car had a "50" on the end but if you do the math 1650 plus 250 is only 1900 so yeah they got me! Only the worst experience i have ever had buying a car. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It does not matter how long they have been in business, its not the establishment that i am mad at, its the money hungry people sitting behind the counters with the smug looks on their faces. If you have any qustions you are very welcome to email me: myangel212010atgmail.com <--- I have nothing to hide or lie about. I do not know these people and have never me them in my life i dont have a reason to make this up..:(

I recently referred a young friend who was looking for a cheap car to Woodbridge Public Auto Auction, because more than 15 years ago I had purchased there old but reliable cars. The experience this time has been completely different. It seems that they sell whatever comes to their lot without even test-driving the car. My friend bought a Virginia Inspected Mercury Sable. At speeds over 35mph the car would start shaking very badly. The auction sale manager asked us to leave the car with them and told us the next day that the problem was fixed. We came back to pick up the car and the problem was still unresolved. Then they say that the car needed an alignment and that we should pay for it. We wanted them to cancel the sale, given that obviously we were mislead to buy a car that should have never passed Virginia inspection. They refused to cancel the sale but suggested that we put the car at auction again and sell the car to somebody else, obviously paying them an additional commission and without fixing the car. We took the car to our mechanic who had to replace both axle shafts to fix the problem. One expects to find relatively old cars with high mileage sold at auction, but the expectation is that a honest dealer should at least test drive the car and disclose obvious problems. Woodbridge Auto Auction does not do so. They sell whatever junk comes to their lot and they will never take responsibility for any problem after the sale.

I was looking for a car for my wife. After looking at 10 overpriced junkers and 1 scam on Graigslist . I decided to drive down to Woodbridge public auto auction. The salesman was nice I had him running back and forth to get keys for an hour after looking at 10 more junkers i finally found a good car at a decent price . A 1999 Mitsubishi Diamante with 126,000 miles on it . A clean car fax, straight body and near perfect interior for $2900 + the $450 dealer fee and $75 for temp tags. I put 300 down and came back the next day and paid for it in full and drove back to Maryland. it needed a little work to pass Maryland inspection but not to bad the worst was a brake sensor that i knew it needed before buying I had a Chevy with same problem the sensor for a chevy was $30 to $80 but a Mitsubishi Diamante sensor for the rear brake a whopping $450. So after MD inspection, tax , tags and title it came to $4500 and it was on the road .I looked for the same year and model online and the cheapest i could find in this good of shape was $5,200 not including fees tax and title !!! so I figure i am still at least $700.00 to the good I would buy a car from them again but next time i will research the price on parts of the vehicle first. Just remember it is sold as is .

Employees at Woodbridge Public Auto Auction were very dishonest when they sold my vehicle this year. I ran into the person who purchase my car at a gas station; the reason I knew it was my car was because of a dent on the passenger rear of the vehicle. We started talking and I stated to them you really got a good deal on this vehicle and quoted a price and she said no I paid $4200.00. I was furious and felt like I was robbed by someone with a gun by this dealership. I cannot believe they are stealing money from customers. This is fraud and business like this is not acceptable. This dealership should lose their license.

I am a first time buyer, I bought a 2000 Honda, Jose told me that the car is lower than the market price, and its rating is alot better than the other Honda's ratings. However after I had bought the car and had it ispected, I found that the engine is broken, and needs around 2000USD to repair it. Their response is "the contract has already stated, once we sold the car to you, its your full responsible, not ours."

A friend told us about this place. Bought a 2002 Volvo S80, I found the car online first and just went in. Customer service is not pushy, if anything it is too laid back. We negotiated the price and test drove the car twice. Paid and drove home same day. Title arrived after 10 days or so. I then paid MD tax and inspected the car in MD. Don't assume anything, ask if you are not sure. Theo and Charlie both helped me and my husband with the purchase. We bought a warranty with our purchase and will be going back to get a car for our daughter. The cars at this place are As-Is which was a little scary but since we could test drive and check everything out first we felt ok to buy.

i am a newbie when it comes to buying a car. so i found this place(woodbridge public auto auction) online. i thought this is a big place and would have many choices to choose from. But they cheated me on the car price. I found that out after i bought the car, i went online and did a little bit of research on the car. and the price for the same car i bought is listed on yahoo is $1000 less than what i paid for. The guy, who took me around, said the car was listed at five thousand something. but if i pay cash, the price would be less. they try to list the price high and go down a lot, but the price still would be fair. and also, they said the car wouldn't have any problems because its not listed on the paper. but if you buy it and take the car for inspection. several problems will be discovered. Don't trust them on that! after i found out that the car i bought has some problems, i wanted to return, but they wouldn't let me do so. Do your homework before buying cars there!!

They CHEATED ME ON THE PRICE. They did not collect VA Sales tax, title and title tax fees. They did take my check that was supposed to have those fees. I am going to DMV. The State inspection has many violations an I am going to the Sate Police. We sat down and the Web price was $4700 They added the taxes and fees to be more than 5400.I noted front end problems that would cost to repair and we agreed to 4700. No notes about not paying the taxes.

This is an auction environment, with a cash and carry flavor. heck out the purchase carefully, take down a mechanic with you, test drive the vehicles. Price is outstanding and if you know about autos you wont go wrong. Dont expect a coffee and sit down massage.... these guys are wholesale.... wham bam thank you mam!!!!!!!! Really friendly staff but very busy. I have bought 3 times from them..... you can buy a warranty from them but I would rather save the money in case the car needs anything .... Cars are sold as is so Check Check Check!!!!!!Loved the experience

I have purchased a 2000 Ford Windstar from this location, and this is the worst vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. Everything went wrong here! Although I have purchased it out of the auction, still I could not drive the vehicle because they did not have enough sales person available to take me for a test drive, while we were making a deal I told the manager that there were no third row seat in the van and he promised to take care of that for me. But after everything was finalized he denied having any conversation about it. Last but not least the vehicle had no gas in the tank for me to drive it out far enough to get to a gas station. So my friends please take my advice and stay out of this woodbridge public auto auction.
