Frequently Asked Questions

The average price of a used Dodge Charger on our marketplace is $38,255 based on 17,475 active listings nationwide. Prices range from $834 to $129,687. You can also browse Dodge under $15,000 or Dodge under $25,000 to match your budget.

Used Dodge Charger vehicles on our marketplace have an average of 76,358 miles. About 42% of listings are under 60,000 miles and 19% are under 30,000 miles. Mileage is one of the biggest factors in pricing — lower-mileage units typically command a noticeable premium.

Dodge is consistently ranked among the more reliable brands by J.D. Power and Consumer Reports. Most Dodge Charger model years earn solid reliability scores, and well-maintained vehicles regularly reach 200,000+ miles with routine maintenance.

Depending on year, trim and powertrain, a Dodge Charger typically delivers around 25–32 city / 30–40 highway MPG for gas models. Hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants, where available, can improve combined fuel economy significantly.

Popular alternatives include Dodge Durango and Dodge Challenger. You can also browse all used cars by body style on our marketplace to compare options across price ranges.

About Dodge Charger

There are 12,521 used Dodge Charger cars for sale near you, prices range from $100 to $159,995.

There are 10,920 Dodge Charger cars currently available that have no reported accidents or damage.

A well-maintained Dodge Charger would last between 200,000 and 300,000 miles. Of course, though, everything depends on a number of matters: maintenance, driving habits, and the environment in which the car is driven. Proper care should include repairs in time, the changing of oil regularly, and following the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

Dodge Charger horsepower varies depending on the model and engine. Here are some examples from different models:

292 horsepower – Dodge Charger SXT with 3.6L V6
300 horsepower – Dodge Charger GT with 3.6L V6
370 horsepower – Dodge Charger R/T with 5.7L V8
485 horsepower – Dodge Charger Scat Pack with 6.4L V8
717 horsepower – Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat with 6.2L supercharged V8
797 horsepower – Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye with 6.2L supercharged V8

Quickest of the lot is the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V-8 engine. This means it has the power to produce 797 hp and 707 lb-ft of torque, which translates to a top speed of 203 mph and a 0-60 time in about 3.5 seconds—the world's quickest, most powerful mass-produced sedan.

My husband was in a serious accident just last week. His car rolled, and took down an electrical pole and he walked away with only sprained wrists. The airbags in this car are INCREDIBLE. The only reason he didn't get impaled or even scraped up by the 3' of pole that came into his car is because of the airbags that surrounded his legs, that somehow pushed the pole off to the side. The airbags along the drivers side kept him from getting any glass injuries or head injuries, the windshield cracked and webbed but didn't shatter, even after flipping he only had a couple dents on the top of the vehicle. We are in the market for a new car now and will be getting a Charger because I can trust it with my family's lives!

We have a 2022 Dodge Challenger scat pack so we decided to get a brand new 2023 Charger Daytona last call edition and we love it lots of power and rides as expected for a full size 4 door but a little stiffer.

  • PrettyGirl Blue84 reviewing SXT 4dr Sedan AWD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

Ive had my 2020 4 years now, and it still looks and almost feels like the day I bought it off the lot brand new. One thing I notice is that my radio every once in a while doesn't want to either come on, or sync/pair with blue tooth or other electronics, so there seems to be an electrical issue going on. Like I said, its been four years and now it's happening. Also, I feel like it takes an extra push to pick up speed. Im not sure if its too much muscle, and not light weight enough, but it doesn't go fast off rip, you gotta use some pedal action for a minute. Also, the brake rotter seem to rust really bad. I noticed that when I first got the vehicle. Not good! And last, for me, the car colors are awesome, and I always get compliments on it BUT Dodge did not put real thought in the paint that they used on our vehicles. ITS THE WORST PAINT JOB EVER! You can literally put a scratch on your car easily. You see every mark. it boldly holds scratches. Ive NEVER seen a car paint do that, and Ive had many vehicles. We paid too much for cheap paint DODGE! Other than that, I love my car and im almost done paying it off....i will get a new paint job then.

  • Atyrant reviewing R/T 4dr Sedan (5.7L 8cyl 5A)

Bought mine new in 2011. I was encouraged by sales rep to take it for a spin after gawking at a black on black beauty in the showroom. As soon as my wife saw it she said it was definitely a buy. The chrome Cragar style wheels took me back to the late 60’s but this car was definitely better than anything which was available way back when. I only have 19,000 miles on it and it’s never been driven in winter so who knows it may be a collectors item one day. No regrets I decided to buy this one!

  • Kittel reviewing GT 4dr Sedan (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

I'm very happy with both the ride and the muscular lines of the car, and the terrible interior doesn't bother me.

  • Unhappy new dodge buyer reviewing GT 4dr Sedan AWD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

Just purchased a 2023 Charger GT Blacktop special edition with all the options...not cheap at all. The car was kept by the dealer for a recall, that I could not find through Dodge or NHTSA, so I don't know about why they really kept the car. Anyway, it has 3 simple issues, steering wheel is off center, sunroof cover rattles, and there is a drivetrain vibration that is probably a bad driveshaft. I have had two of the employees, one being the service advisor and the other the salesperson, both agree that there is a problem with steering wheel being off center and an obvious vibration from the drivetrain. Had it in twice in two days, both times they say there is nothing wrong so there is nothing to fix. I am appalled at the lack of knowledge from these "mechanics", they obviously can't diagnose anything that can't be pinpointed by their computers. I am going to reach out to other dealers and see if I can find a real mechanic at one, and try their service department. I have already reached out to dodge customer service...but that is known to be a useless endeavor anyway...just need to document in case. I love the car, but cannot stand the absolute lack of support from dealer service centers. DON'T BUY DODGE, they will not stand behind their product at all.
