This 1986 Buick Grand National is an awesome classic 80s muscle car that will turn heads everywhere you go, but this one won't break the bank. In 1986 the Grand National featured 235 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque, and as hard as it is to believe, this Buick was Americas fastest production car! The Grand National could hit 0-62 mph in under five seconds and sprint down the quarter mile in under 14 seconds, making it faster than the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Pontiac Firebird at the time. Believe it or not.....it was the 5th fastest car in the world at the time! The body on this car is straight, the paint looks very nice, and the interior is in great shape. The original owner kept a very detailed notebook that recorded everything he ever did to the car including every time he put gasoline in the car! Early records indicate that Amsoil synthetic motor oil was used starting at about 16,000 miles, and recent oil changes have been made with Royal Purple Synthetic. The Cooper Cobra tires are approximately a year old. Recent maintenance and repairs include new power steering pump, water pump, alternator, and A/C Compressor. The Interior is in beautiful condition with no rips, tears, or stains in the fabric, and the carpet is excellent. The dash is in very nice condition as well. A scanmaster scantool for monitoring Knock retard, O2 readings, sensors, etc has been installed but is easily hidden under or behind the dash for a stock look. The exterior has had a nice quality repaint and does not have any door dings or big scratches. Although not a trailer queen show car, this car will turn heads everywhere it goes and will be right at home at the weekend car show.
