We've always felt the S4 is the sweet spot for the 928 lineup - thanks to a redesigned 5.0 liter V8 with dual overhead camshafts and a higher compression ratio, the S4 made a whopping 86 more horsepower than the 928S. And an S4 is considerably more affordable than a 928GTS. Interior remains in very good original condition with soft and supple leather seating surfaces, a crack-free dash and steering wheel, nice carpets, door panels and headliner, and of course all lights, switches and gauges are working as they should. A Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB head unit offers the look of a classic 1980s cassette stereo but with modern Bluetooth, USB and aux input functionality.
