Those letters indicate that this Corvette was modified by"Doug Rippie Motorsports", a highly regarded shop that tastefully modified this low-mileage C4 for track day use while having the car remain docile enough for street duty. The modified engine was conservatively rated at 450 hp, though actual output was closer to 475+. As seen on the window sticker, this Corvette originally had a 4-speed automatic transmission but it was converted to a 6-speed manual to increase both performance and the fun factor.This speedy Corvette was raced at the East Coast Super Charging Challenge held at Raceway Park in English Town, NJ. The C4 also attended the Silver State Classic Challenge in Las Vegas Nevada in September of 2013 where it saw 168 mph. The last time this C4 hit the track was at the Mojave Magnum in 2013, where its top track speed was recorded as 175 mph.The 1995 Corvette itself is in great shape, with the original black paint still gleaming on its arrow-straight body panels. Sharp-eyed enthusiasts will note the tasteful DRM upgrades that include Corvette Gran Sport wheels and rear fender flares.
