For nearly a decade we have been a leader in the reconditioning and resale of the iconic LR Discovery 2, focusing almost exclusively on the 2003-2004 versions. But this specific first year D2 was just too nice to ignore. It's not quite a perfect time warp, but its overall condition, and most especially its drive quality certainly belies its age! And at 135k, the mileage is a kindness as well. We've kept this truck around for a couple years using it mainly for client needs and as personal transportation for fly-in guests and family, resulting in many hundreds of trouble-free miles accumulated under our purview. We've left it fundamentally stock, since it looked and performed so well "as is", though we did upgrade the engine with a fresh top end overhaul featuring rebuilt heads, Elring head gaskets and ARP super-duty head studs. Likewise, we upgraded the engine support systems with a new top-of-the-line Airtex water pump, a grey OEM "Low-Temp" thermostat and new hoses, belt, tensioners, and resevoir. The ignition system got new coils, wires and plugs as well. We also upgraded the wheels to the later 18" Hurricane style for better tire selection (vs the stock 16"ers). These are shod with Goodyear Eagle Sport ATs with about 75% tread now remaining. Brakes were recently replaced all around. Inside we added a very discrete 7" touchscreen that supports Bluetooth phone and music, Apple CarPlay for your mapping and all other phone apps, and a very handy back-up camera. This was always a GA car so it is rust-free and except for a small dent near the tailgate, it's accident free with original paint remains in good overall condition.
