This recent acquisition comes to us in terrific rust and fade-free condition from a two-owner history in Texas. It is the much sought after 7-passenger model with the optional separately controlled rear AC system. Like all of our premium Discovery restorations it will include a new engine built to better than factory specifications. Our rebuilt 4.6 engine includes a fully top-hatted, pressure tested, and chemically cleaned and sealed block is the ultimate solution to the "liner lift" syndrome and subsequent block cracks that kills most 4.6's. After years of working on Discos we have determined that a fully reconditioned and re-sleeved block is the ONLY way to guarantee long term durability and your satisfaction. Additionally, the heads were overhauled with new guides and seals, valves as needed, seats cut, and gasket surface planed. Very importantly, the heads are reinstalled with top-quality ARP chromemoly studs instead of the 'stretchy' soft steel standard head bolts. Of course the engine internals were renewed with fresh bearings, gaskets, rings, lifters, timing chain, gaskets and seals. To protect this investment, we include an upgraded cooling system with all new components including the radiator, water pump, reservoir and cap, thermostat (185degree) and drive belt/tensioners/rollers. To insure good long term performance, new coils, wires, plugs and sensors are installed.All our reconditioned trucks include new headliner, restored seating surfaces, upgraded Bluetooth radio, new brakes and upsized (32"+) premium All Terrain tires, fully vetted electrics and AC, and replaced or reconditioned bumpers.
