This rare and desirable super LOW MILES 2004 SE came to us from sunny, dry Phoenix AZ, assuring a rust-free condition. And of course, the striking White on Black color combination is highly sought after and yields a stunningly unique presentation. Unfortunately, all is not honey and cream as the truck carries a salvage title, the result of a front end accident that wiped out bumper, lights, grille, et al, but stopped short of causing any frame damage or anything else that would compromise safety or durability. However, as so often the case, the engine had developed the notorious 4.6l "knock". So, like all our '03/04 trucks, we rebuilt the engine (all new bearings, rings, seals,timing chain, etc) and we then permanently staked the liners in place to prevent noise and overheating in the future. Of course, the ignition system was updated with new wires, coils and plugs and likewise the cooling system with water pump, reservoir hoses, thermostat, belt and rollers. New brakes were installed all around and the truck was treated to a 2" lift and awesome +2" larger Nexen AT Pro tires on shiny black "dipped" wheels under reconditioned wheel arches. . The front end received a unique treatment with bumper corners coated to match the bumper center, a light bar was added along with two 7" Hella "Black Magic" foglights and a custom black anti-reflective hood applique was installed. Out back a Lucky 8 ladder, upper and lower taillight protectors, and a spare tire relocation bracket were installed. Inside the black leather is in terrific condition, complimented by an aftermarket "wood accent" kit and a newly installed headliner.
