The original owner ordered this Stroppe to spec and asked us for one thing above all else: the plushest, most controlled ride a Bronco can deliver, on the highway and off the beaten path. With just 1,494 miles on the odometer it is essentially a new truck, and it carries more than $22,500 in professional TCcustoms upgrades layered on top of an already special factory build. The centerpiece of that build is an ICON Vehicle Dynamics Stage 8 suspension system with electronic ride control, which lifts the Bronco roughly 3 inches over stock. This is the upgrade that delivers the smooth, planted, plush ride the original owner was chasing, soaking up rough pavement and trail alike while opening up the clearance needed to run a serious tire. Filling out those fenders are 37x12.50R17 Toyo Open Country A/T III tires wrapped around 17-inch Method Race Wheels that we custom powder-coated in gloss white for a clean, aggressive stance. Getting in and out of a lifted Bronco is effortless thanks to Rockslide Engineering power-deploy step sliders, and these are not ordinary running boards. They automatically drop down when you open the door, then tuck back up out of harm's way once you are moving. Because they are built as true rock sliders, they are engineered to support the full weight of the vehicle, so you can rock-crawl over obstacles and lean the truck on them without a second thought. Out back, a Smittybilt heavy-duty tire carrier was added and reinforced to safely carry the larger, heavier 37-inch spare. To finish the job the right way, our technicians used the Ford ProCal tool to recalibrate the speedometer so the gauges and odometer read accurately with the new 37-inch tire size, and the windows were professionally tinted for comfort, privacy, and a finished look. All told, the TCcustoms package represents more than $22,500 in premium parts and professional in-house installation, and it is what truly sets this Stroppe apart from every other one listed for sale. Underneath the custom work sits an extremely capable factory platform. Power comes from Ford's turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 making up to 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and Advanced 4x4. From the factory the Stroppe arrives with serious, Sasquatch-level off-road hardware, including front and rear locking differentials, an electronic front stabilizer-bar disconnect for extra wheel articulation, full steel bash plates, a heavy-duty modular front bumper, front and rear tow hooks, and Ford's Terrain Management System with G.O.A.T. Modes, Baja mode included. This is real, desert-race-inspired capability straight off the showroom floor, and the TCcustoms upgrades only sharpen it. That desert pedigree is the whole point of the Stroppe Edition, one of the most meaningful special models Ford has ever built. It honors Bill Stroppe, the legendary Long Beach, California builder whose lightly prepped 1969 Bronco scored the first and still only outright win by a stock 4x4 at the brutal Baja 1000. Stroppe and driver Parnelli Jones went on to dominate the desert in the famous Big Oly Bronco, taking the Baja 1000 in both 1971 and 1972. Offered exclusively as a two-door, just like the Broncos Bill raced more than 50 years ago, the 2025 Stroppe wears a signature four-tone treatment of an Oxford White body, Code Orange lower-body and accent paint, a glare-fighting matte black hood and tailgate, and a removable painted hard top. Inside, durable vinyl seats carry orange contrast stitching and embroidered Stroppe badging, set against a bright white instrument panel with BRONCO called out in Code Orange across the passenger side.
