There was a recall on my car that I was unaware of; you took care of it in addition to the problem I came in with. You also did my routine maintenance a little early so I wouldn't have to come back. And finished everything in about 2 hours!

This is my second experience with "FIRST NISSAN" and both experiences were very positive. There was only one day left to take advantage of the Nissan Fall Maintenance Package (Expired after 10/31/16) and Bryan in Service squeezed my Nissan Pathfinder in for a 1345 appointment. The service was the standard excellent Nissan Service that we have always experienced with Nissan Service departments.

Last Saturday I came back in the same month for the 2 time to fix the break light. First time didn't go so well...Rafael was there and he took care of the problem that it was not only the light bulb, it was something else. He looked for the part and replaced in like 30 minutes it was fixed.Thanks to Rafael i driving my car knowing that everything is ok and I can drive safe.

Chris was great. The technician located the noise I complained about. I didn't believe them when they said it was the hood. I swore it was the suspension. Chris rode with me for a test drive and he confirmed that it was the hood. They lubed it and the noise went away. Great service.

I called on Friday for an oil change and recall on my car and to my surprise they got me an appointment the next morning 9:45am. When I dropped off the car they said they needed 4 hours. I told them my son had a baseball game at 3 and they said, "No problem. " My car was done by noon and washed! Even our shuttle was a nice van, we'll maintained, with an excellent driver. What's to improve?

Was treated with respect, not judgmental of past hardships leading to lack of high credit rating. I really didn't expect that they'd find a lender, let alone a great loan rate. Staff was confident and very helpful helping me find right balance of the best car and the right price range, I was completely unsure when I arrived of how much I could afford, how much to put down, what kind of car to get - but staff guided me and the whole experience was relaxed, not stressful. So exciting (and unexpected) to get a great car to drive home.

Chis was friendly and knowledgeable. He pointed out the engine mount that will eventually need replacing but noted that it was not urgent. I will be back to have that fixed in October. Chris said that my vehicle will be ready between 2 and 3 hours. Sure enough, he called me 2 hours and 30 minutes later.

I scheduled an oil change and recall fix for two recalls, I drive in from half hour away as I move from Simi Valley. I didnt want to wake any friends to help me out for a couple of hours. So knowing I was going to sit there for 2 hrs. they moved my car up and got me out as soon as they could. I spent from 7:30 to 10:30, wasnt so bad, so thank you.

From the moment we stepped on the lot, Juan Herrera went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for. We visited the dealership not one, or two BUT 3 times to speak with Juan and the team about purchasing our vehicle. The service advisor (Christopher Bonilla 1857) was professional and helped me determine what actually needed to be serviced at 150,000 miles. He inspected the car and noticed tire damage since the car is mostly sitting in the sun. He provided multiple estimates on tire selections and stuck by his quotes. I need to know how much any parts and services are going to cost ahead of time because I only use cash. I refuse to use anything with the chip including credit cards and debit cards. I called back for a follow up appointment on Saturday to get the new tires. I also want to thank the service center for driving me back home, I had so many chores to do that day that you can't believe how much this helps. My family drove me back only because I don't want to abuse this complimentary service but for the times I need to use it I want to thank you for having this.

This behavior trickles down from the top He starts with the owner. Robert oversees every service performed. I only trust 1st Nissan to work on my vehicles. Three years ago I moved to Port Hueneme. The Oxnard Nissan dealership is very close to me, however, I drive 35 miles to 1st Nissan. Why? I only trust 1st Nissan to work on my vehicles. Just 2 weeks ago I baught a 2002 Honda Civic lx from Simi Valley 1st Nissan. After wasting lot of time the manager didn't gave any discount but instead of that he gave me 2 services free, thanks for that.After I started driving I was getting some cranking sound from rear side of the car so I decided to go for a service to 1st Honda but when they found out that I baught the car from 1st Nissan they told me to go there. I told them that because of my car is Honda that's why I bring here, he said that they can check it but It will take at least 4-5 hours to give me the estimate of the problem because lot of people are waiting before me. Somehow it make sense to me, so I decided to come back another day.So this time I decided to go to 1 st Nissan and I make an appointment with them at 8.30 am today.When this guy saw its Honda car right way he said that you should go to Honda service not here.i explain him all about buying from them and went to Honda incident and also told him that I got 2 free services from them. The guy told me that OK he can do it but it will take longer than usual because he has to bring the parts from Honda ,it make sense to me so I told him to proceed. By the same time my salesman mr.Dinesh was passing by from whom I baught the car. Upon see me there he asked me what happen and I explain him the problem ,he said the guy yes he told me to bring the car here not to Honda and mr.Dinesh told me that you don't need the regular service because they did recently so I explain him about the crank sound. After hearing the conversation then the person who was taking care my car said the diagonesis will charge me $120.00. It seems to me that he don't want to service my car and find something to get rid of it. I really don't want to put the persons name here,but you can found out for sure from mr.Dinesh your salesperson. Anyway I decided to return from there without servicing my car.I don't know whose fault is this but you if you guys really care about customer service please fix it asap or I will think that it's my fault to go to you guys. This incident is really upset me a lot and if you guys are not doing anything about it,I am not going there any more even I have 2 free services.

This review is about 1st Nissan service department! Over four years ago I moved to Simi Valley, and have been bringing my Nissan vehicle to 1st Nissan Simi Valley service department every 5,000 to 6,000 miles for routine maintenance, there was one recall issue, and also had a front window washer unit replaced. 1st Nissan became my go-to place for service. BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THEM. Here is why: Something changed with this service department over the past 6 months. They now seem to operate on a corrupt line of practice as you hear so often of so many other automotive service shops. They make claims of bogus problems that simply do not exist. I am sure they make a lot of up-sells $$$ on people that are naive or simply do not know enough about cars and who fall prey to these tactics, but I have worked on all my cars most of my life from changing my own brakes, plugs and fluids to replacing timing belts to replacing entire engines. 6 Months ago I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance, oil change, tire rotation and even asked them to change out all my air filters. The price was reasonable and I approved the work. When I came to pick up the vehicle the service agent told me there were two serious issues that needed immediate attention or could create a dangerous situation if left unrepaired. He told me that one of my engine motor mounts was broken, and that my timing belt was making noise and that both needed to be replaced (Total cost for both in excess of $1900). Many customers would probably trust the agent and likely pay for the Needed repairs and not think twice. I said I would have to think about it before I approved the work (Believe me, if I discovered the vehicle needed those repairs I would have done so). Of course I examined both and found nothing wrong, I even took my vehicle to a friend who is a mechanic and he confirmed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with either. Today 05/16/16 I again took my vehicle in for oil change, tire rotations, and also asked them to clean up the battery which had a little corrosion on the terminals, and (Also asked them to determine why my window washer reservoir was not holding fluid). The agent gave me a quote for all but the fluid reservoir, and I approved. When he called me, he said during their multi-point inspection they determined that my brake lines had Dirty fluid and that this would cause adverse pressure on the brake systems and cause faster wear on my pads and that they could replace my brake fluid for only $121. (Sounds very technical and expertise, right? What a line of BS! When I told my friend the mechanic he almost choked with laughter, and said how does an encased hydraulic system get dirty fluid), The service agent also said that while working on my battery that they noticed the voltage was a little low and that they had another battery in stock and could easily replace it same day" (My battery is just over 1 year old, and works perfectly as the gauge on my console supports). Of course when I picked up my vehicle I asked the tech why during their multi-point inspection didnt they notice a broken engine mount or timing belt today like they told me they found 6 months ago when I was last in for service? (I DO WANT TO MENTION THAT MY VEHICLE IS A 2008 WITH ONLY 67,000 MILES) I am explaining each claim with great detail because I want you the reader of this review to be prepared if you hear the same lines from them, maybe it will prevent others from paying for something that they truly do not need, like so many of people do. Please notice I didnt mention any of the service personnels names. This is because I do not believe this is the fault of any one employee, but more likely the practice that plagues the entire operations of this business.

This is where I bought my car and this is where I always bring my car back to get service. Robert and I think Chris know me. Robert has always treated me very well. He knows me and my car. I can always ask him questions. He shows me things under my hood and actually teaches me things and makes me aware of issues in my car. He truthfully explains things to me and let's me decide what is good for me. He also gave me a neat flashlight that fits on my key ring and some ties to help with rodent situations under my hood. He is very observant and understanding. Sometimes women need extra help with understanding their cars. I appreciate it very much!

Chris Fucito was the service advisor that worked with me.He gave me updates as the work on my car was being done.When we realized it would take several more hours to complete the work Chris made sure the Nissan shuttle took me to Enterprise to get a rental car. I needed my house keys and driving glasses from my car and Chris kindly and patiently helped me to get them. Chris is calm and maintains professionalism at all times. I was sitting in the Nissan waiting room which offers coffee, cookies, TV and comfortable chairs. Having issues with our cars is always stressful, but Chris made it much less so.

Everything was very pleasant from start to finish, Jesus greeted us very promptly upon arriving. He listened to me and my needs. We test drove 2 cars and ended up purchasing the first one I tried he put me in. When it came to inside Kim did a side by side comparison of both vehicles financially. It was interesting that even tho one car was more expensive, over the term of the loan the Sentra was only $1 more per month vs the Versa. It was a very easy process. Finance manager was very nice and process was pretty speedy. And at the end Jesus walked with me on everything about the car and even paired by phone to the car. I would say the entire process took 3 hours or so, which is one of the quickest I have heard about! I don't buy cars often as I had my last one for 13 years but I can assure you that I will be sending people for years to come and when the time is right again I will be back!

From the moment I walked in the staff was very attentive, Your service advisor, Rafael Martinez, explained in detail the costs and what the service would entail. He also made sure the shuttle service was ready waiting for me when I needed to be given a ride back to work. A couple of hours later, Mr. Martinez called me to let me know my vehicle was ready and took the opportunity to explain the great condition your technicians found my car in, how the results of the battery came back, all the warranties that are still covering my vehicle, he really made me feel that Nissan had my back and I had made a good decision in investing into the maintenance of my car. He offered the shuttle to pick me up from work, I never felt this 5 star service anywhere. When I arrived we went over the results of the 45k mile service and he personally walked me to where I could take care of the bill. Everything felt organized, not rushed and made me feel like I was their most important customer. I will definitely bring my car for service again.

Claudio and Bobby made this car buying experience a very pleasant experience. They were interested in what we wanted and needed rather than being pushy and trying to sell us everything available. We came in with a used upside down 2010 Altima and left with nice shiny brand new 2015 RED Altima, something we thought would not have been possible. Once we got to the finance department, Henry was more than helpful, there were no surprises (which often is not the case) and we were even able to purchase the extended warranty that we really wanted to have. One of the best things Nissan offers is peace of mind through affordable GAP insurance which is great. My first time here today for my car service. Scheduling is very fast. This place is way better than Nissan Mission Hills. My service consultant Rafael Martinez was very nice and honest. They had free coffee, cookies and flavored popcorn! Everybody was nice except the Asian lady in the cashier..she's not too friendly! Well I will definitely comeback to this place for my future car services. Thanks to Rafael!

The service at the Simi Nissan dealer is, well, perfect. The minute I drove up someone was there to help guide me through the process. I waited for my car to be serviced. The waiting area is comfortable, clean and quiet. It actually gave me an hour to relax. My car was washed after the service. That was a special treat! Great experience.

I liked and appreciated Claudio's honesty. I explained what I needed, what I could and could not afford and Claudio went above and beyond to meet my needs as a customer. The different options were explained as far as lease or purchasing and he was very knowledgable, I was very relaxed throught the entire deal. Billy Lennox, the General Manager was also phenomenal. I explained to Billy what I needed and was comfortable with and he did not try to deviate from what I was asking. All in all the entire experience was great and the sales team is top notch in my opinion and I was in/out in under 3 hours, so I say thank you to Claudio and Billy.

I was disappointed every time before this appt. because I was used to having great personal attention at the Westlake dealership. When they closed I came over to Simi and was very disappointed. My service agent was very clear in all questions and recommendations and let me know I needed to get one part changed because of a Nissan recall. My car came back to me shiny and looking like new. No one likes having to make car repairs but I have found the staff and service at 1st Nissan to be top quality. So far I have found the staff to be organized, prompt and courteous. They allow one to fully describe the issue, they offer options on solutions including what needs fixed now or can wait until later. They seem to be conscious of costs and that people have to budget these repairs. Chris Bonilla has been a particularly good service agent to me-- explains things, accurate time estimates, organized, sympathetic to my budget and courteous.

It said I could get a free oil change. I really didn't realize it was not from your co. I only take my car to First Nissan. Anyway, Robert still honored it! That's terrific service. I have 2 other issues with my car that need your help. There again, Robert told me how to handle the situation and when to come back to address the issues.

Glen Phillip introduced himself to us right away, which surprisingly didn't happen at a lot of dealerships. I felt welcome there. I didn't feel pressured, anxious, or uncomfortable throughout my whole experience. Glen was very professional, patient, and kept good composure throughout the whole experience. The dealership was very clean and pleasing to the eye as well. Everyone worked very hard to find the right car I wanted for the price I was able to pay. Everyone went above and beyond the call of duty.

I don't usually write reviews, but I had such a disappointing experience at First Nissan that I had to share my story. So... I've been looking for a Rogue for awhile now and finally found one that I wanted at First Nissan. I emailed the internet department and got a quick response with an actually reasonable quote! I now have a decent starting off point for negotiations so I'm actually excited to go buy this new car! I wake up at 4:30 in the morning like a kid on Christmas but have to wait a couple hours for my newly pregnant wife to wake up so we can make the nearly 3 hour drive down to Simi Valley and pick up our new car! We get there and it takes nearly a half hour just to locate the vehicle. We literally checked three different areas on the lot, then the sales associate drove us to the mall because he thought it was on display there (it wasn't), then he said it was at the Kia lot next door (it wasn't) only to find out it was at the first place we looked!!! Finally, we have the car and the initial quote from the internet department, so lets get down to business! They would not work with us at all!!!! NOT 1 CENT!!! My wife and I eventually left to regroup and get some lunch. When we came back and it was the same story. The manager kept saying stuff like, "you really picked a popular model, I would be the laughing stock of my buddies in the bay area if I sold it to you at that price." or "It'll sell, it's a really popular car right now." Essentially making me feel like my business didn't matter! Do you know how much he came down from the original internet quote?!?! A whopping $60!!!!! Yes, that an amazing .2% off!!!! I was so put off by the whole thing and even though it was a decent price and the car that I wanted, I walked away because off how I felt treated at First Nissan. My suggestions to you...even if First Nissan has the exact car you want, go somewhere else! They definitely don't treat you like number 1, they treat you like number 1 in a million!

I was greeted by name and walked inside to complete the service paperwork. At first, I was waiting for my car but when repairs were identified I was informed and offered a ride home while the service was completed. I was promptly called when my car was ready and the courtesy van picked me up at my home and drove me to the dealership where my car was washed and ready to go.

I drove directly to 1st Nissan at 4:00 pm after discovering a problem with my 2 year old Rogue. Chris Bonilla in the service department came out to my car and had it checked by a tech. I had a very positive experience at First Nissan. My Salesman Sonny was wonderful!!! He was a pleasure to work with. He answered my many questions and even the ones I didn't think to ask. He showed me all of the Rogue combinations. He went up to the roof at least twice to get cars. He helped me narrow down my choice methodically and patiently. Not only did he know his stuff; but he was polite, funny and engaging. It is usually difficult to wait to get approvals, financing, etc. My daughter and I enjoyed visiting with him throughout the experience. The Sales Manager (Richard?) was very friendly, kind and accomadating. The finance guy, Henry was great too; very upbeat and quick. The people were so outstanding that I have not even mentioned how nice I think your cars are!!!

Kareem was very easy to work with. He kept in touch, while I was researching other cars and did so via text which is what I prefer. I had other salesmen calling me every other day and usually at times when I couldn't take the call. Kareem also honored my request to deal with a single individual during the purchase process. I like the fact that the service people are on top of things. They take time with you about your questions and call you back promptly when the car is ready. I used to have an Infinity and customer service was horrible at the dealership.

Since the Nissan dealer in T.O. closed repairs and service has shifted to this store in Simi Valley. I am very satisfied with the switch even if it is a little farther to travel for service.

I always call Robert Martel to service both my Nissan cars. Robert does an outstanding job both in customer service and in keeping track of what's due for service. He always explains everything up front and never tries to sell me something I don't need. My cars run great after every service and it gives me peace of mind to know that Robert is watching out for me. I can't thank Robert enough for a job well done every time!!!

-Robert in your service department gave me a rental when I said I had a warning light on. It turned out that I needed the transmission replaced and he took care of it getting it done on a timely basis. ( I checked the web and according to other people's experience on their service for replacing a transmission, mine was lightning fast).

I had a issue with my dashboard gauges after having warranty repair on my dashboard due to a rattle. The desk staff was having a hard time understanding my issue so Brian, the service manager took over. He listened to my story, made sure he understood the problem, and then tested the car to verify the issue. Brian worked up a solution that, in my mind, was the reasonable path forward and I appreciated that. He also took an extra step in helping keep all of my car keys synchronized after I replaced a lost key, however then found the lost key. I have to admit I was annoyed that my car was having problems immediately after having the rattle fixed, and there was no way to be 100% sure this new issue had anything to do with my previous repair, however Brian in every helped make this a non-issue for me. Its this kind of client focus that keeps me bring my Maxima back to 1st for all of its service.

I am so disgusted with this place. I feel Nissan should not allow this dealership to use their name. The Sales Manager has absolutely no manners as to how to speak to a customer. Today morning I went down with my family to car shop. we did not want a color they had, but we were ready to compromise if they would have given us a good price. the salesman went back and forth with us on the price but we were not convinced. Finally we gave him a price but he was not convinced with that. We were walking towards our car, when the manager Kim Ewing approached us and started negotiating a deal but we were not interested. He became a little aggressive and started abusing (used F*** words). I was astonished listening to this. I asked him to stop abusing but on top of everything he became xxxxxx to me. I was so taken back with the way I was treated. A simple "sorry sir, we cannot sell you at this price" was sufficient, there was no reason to abuse and treat us like this. I am so pissed with them and have decided to switch from Nissan to some other brand. I would strongly advise to not approach this dealership, if you want to buy Nissan. Even if you have to drive to Valencia or some other Nissan dealership.

This is the best dealership ever and I highly recommend going there if you are looking to get a great, affordable used car. I did not think that getting a car right now would be possible; I have little to no credit, I'm on a very tight budget, and I'm also a first time buyer but Kareem Hassan and the finance guy, Henry, worked really hard to make it happen. Their customer service was incredible and I got a killer deal...and this is the car I've had my eye on for quite a while. This is the place to go and these are the guys you wanna talk to.

When I scheduled my appointment they told me it would take about an hour. Told my boss I'd be an hour and a half late. Took them 2.5 hours to change the hydraulic brake fluid (which I found out I really don't need after 1 year), test the battery, and swap out the "in-cabin" filter. Apparently they didn't have time to test the heater, which I told them has never worked. By the time I could get out of there, I was so late for work I was ready to steal my own car. No they would not give me a ride, said it's too far. No chance of a loaner car, they told me.For the $160 they charged me, you'd think they'd bother to reset the "Battery maintenance due" alert and the other two alerts (AC filter, tire rotation). According to the guy, there is no battery maintenance, they're just testing the battery. So in summary, I should have spent $20 on a new "in-cabin" filter and installed it myself, if I even needed one (which I probably did not). I would have saved 2 hours and $140.

I purchased my 2013 Altima in Sept 2012 and the experience was the best I've ever had when buying a new car. My salesman, Doug Scimeca, was so very helpful with all of his knowledge regarding the car. He not only gave all the information for my new car but he actually showed me how to set up my preferences with the radio and my cell phone and personally showed me how to lower the seats giving me more space in the trunk. At no time did I feel like there was any pressure for me to buy the car, as I have experienced at other dealerships. I also have nothing but good things to say regarding the service department. When I brought my car in for servicing I was told that it would take about an hour and I opted to stay and wait. They were so very accommodating while I waited, continuously checking with me, and keeping me updated on the progress and yes, it only took 1 hour, just as they said. I know that whenever I need to bring my car in for servicing I can be assured that everything will be taken care of and in a timely manner and professionally. I will recommend 1st Nissan to all of my friends and family and to anyone who also wants a 5 star experience.

I can honestly say, I had the best experience with leasing my new Nissan Altima working with Kim Ewing and his staff. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and I appreciated the whole experience very much. I have never received, from a car dealership, such exceptional treatment. I was shown around and introduced to those I will be communicating with whenever needed (questions, oil changes, etc). I was shown everything about my new car to every detail and I have to say I LOVE THIS CAR!! I highly recommend this dealership and will be back when I'm ready for a new one!

As most people know going to buy or even just shop around for a car can be a real pain because dealing with a car salesman have a bad reputation. It's as if they can smell you coming and like sharks they swarm around you which causes pressure and stress. My husband recently had an accident and our car was totaled, that was stressful enough but now we had the unpleasant task of having to TRY to find a car that we could afford without feeling pressured from the "Salesman". When we arrived at the dealership we sat in the car for a few moments to discuss our strategy and were planning on playing "good cop, bad cop". As soon as we got out of the car we were greeted by a gentleman named Joe, already he had a very pleasant demeanor. He was patient as we explained what we were looking for and didn't pressure us AT ALL! We explained we were strapped financially and he never tried to push us into a car we couldn't afford. He made sure he didn't tell us that if he couldn't give us an answer to our question he would find out and not tell us something just to make it sound better. He made us feel as though we were doing business with a friend who truly cared about our situation and was trying to do everything he could to meet our needs. I really hope you can realize and appreciate the type of employee you have. If all of your customers are treated the way we were you will not just be selling cars but you will be building relationships which is very important if you want repeat customers or referrala. We will definitley be referring our friends and family, not just to your dealership but to Joe specifically. Thank you so much for making a bad situation into a very pleasant one. Thank you also to Joon for his help in this matter, he too was very pleasant and friendly. The salesman, Bill was very nice and a very smart man. He helped us select which car was for us very quickly and without too much pressure. He did not have a very good knowledge of the inventory they had and only showed us a few cars out of their whole inventory. Of course he tried to land us on the most expensive model they had. When we got into the finance part of the deal is when we met our good "friend" Joe. He was a classic car salesman. He was trying to find as many ways to rip us off as possible. It was after 7 at night and the bank was closed but MAGICALLY he told us that we were turned down by nissans bank, of course he tried to sell us on a used car (more profit in used for them). We went along to make them feel like they were getting somewhere. He was rude, arrogant, and worst of all reached out and touched me (took a bleach shower to get the slime off). Don't go to this place unless you want to be ripped off while they have a smile on their faces.
