This is definitely the case of " the day you buy the car, is the happiest day", because dealing with the service dept. after that, is ALWAYS the worst experience ever!!! Buick is an awesome product. Thank goodness you don't need the service dept. often... but when you do, it's awful!!!! I traded my Buick in, at another dealership, just so I would no longer have to deal with their repair shop.

I went to Allstar with a warranty claim on my 2012 Sierra. The paint was starting to peel on the roof of my truck at not even 4 years old yet, but technically my truck was out of the warranty. I opened up a case directly with GMC anyways, and I was advised to go to Allstar to get my truck inspected, and to hash out the cost and warranty coverage. The shop supervisor at Allstar repaired my truck upfront at no cost to me, and settled up with GMC after with no hassle on my part. I still don't know what part GMC paid, if any, and what part Allstar paid. The quality of the repair was excellent; there is definitely great craftsmen working at Allstar. Both Allstar and GMC hold customer satisfaction to the highest, and I will definitely consider purchasing future GMC vehicles at Allstar.

I've been sitting here for 2 hours for oil change and tire rotation and that's with an appt. There is no way that it should take this much time if you know what you are doing. My first time here for service and when I got here, I stood by service center b/c I didn't know where to go. 3 employees passed me and never said a word. I finally asked a service employee and she directed me where to go.

I needed something bigger than my 10 year old Dodge Charger. I needed a SUV for the line of work that I'm in. I went in, was greeted at the door, told them what I was looking for, and they showed me a few and let me test drive each one, to see the difference in the way they feel and ride. Everyone was very helpful! I sat down and explained what I wanted in the SUV and my price range, what monthly notes that I could afford, and a few days later, I walked out with a 2016 GMC Terrain XLT, with BEAUTIFUL leather seats, heated seats, automatic engine start, LOADED! I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is wanting a great quality vehicle for a great reasonable price! And the whole entire staff treated me like a Queen! Very polite and professional staff!

even though I made an appointment two weeks ahead, there was no loaner available. I was given a ride home and my car was delivered to me at 2pm the next day! I understand the expense of keeping demo's available for loaners. Could some of the nicer used cars on your lot be used as loaners? Other than some inconvenience, my car was delivered to me clean and all work preformed properly!

I came in and there were four vehicles ahead of me waiting to be serviced. It would have taken a couple of hours to wait. I ask if a loan vehicle was available and I was told no. When I purchased the vehicle I was told that a loan vehicle would be available if needed. I was instructed to come back around noon and they could work me in. I returned at 12:10 and they did work me in and had me out within 30 minutes or so. Steve was very nice and did his best to take care of me. This time I had other things to do locally and was able to burn a couple of hours. What will happen next time?

My service experience was exceptionally pleasant. My only downfall is that this is such a busy location, I can't sit and wait on my vehicle, I have to leave it. In this busy day and age, that is a draw back for a busy working mom. Otherwise, I give 5 stars to the staff and quality of work. They are just extremely busy. Which is good... just not convenient.

Following a wreck last July 31st in which I was NOT at fault, I had had a NIGHTMARE experience with the other driver's insurance company. Even though my car had a bent frame, the insurance company went back and forth at least SEVEN times about whether to total my car. Eventually they offered me a settlement, but my credit had been damaged in the process (much LONGER story!). I desperately needed a vehicle and was afraid of what kind of vehicle I could get and how high the mileage would be with only the cash I was given in the settlement. A friend directed me to All Star. She said if Jack Hebert couldn't help me with financing, no one could. I was very skeptical. My own credit union had turned me down earlier. I called Jack, and he put me in touch with salesman Wade Foy and special finance manager Diana LeBlanc. They asked for some basic info over the phone and told me not to worry, they could make it happen. When I went in to see them later that afternoon, I was stunned! They had picked out just the car I was looking for and had set up the financing ... and the car was NEW! The monthly amount was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but Diana was able to get the payment down a bit. The interest was high, 9.7%, but I knew my credit was poor. Once I establish a good payment record with GMAC, which I should have no problem doing now, I will be able to re-finance the car with my credit union for only 2.99%. If All Star's service center proves to be as top-notch as their sales/finance team, they will have my family and me as customers for LIFE! I've already told everyone I know how great an experience I had there. I even posted it (with a link to the website) on Facebook.

I had a great experience at AllStar. A friend recommended Terry Wilson. She was awesome!! They gave me $3,000 more than another local dealer offered me for my trade, plus, went down on the price of the car I bought. Also, the facility was nice, clean, and spacious.

They did not replace a peeling steering wheel in my truck. I went to another dealer and they replaced it fast and with friendly service. I was treated poor and lied to at All Star. I will never step foot in there dealership again.Here is the whole story:To all concerned, I felt I needed to write a letter concerning the service I just had done on my 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 VIN # 1GTHC2366xxxxxxx. I bought the truck in January of 2008. After driving the truck less than 2000 miles the finish on the steering wheel began to peel. I did not think much of it till more started to come off. As anyone would I brought the truck in to have it looked at by dealer that I had bought the truck from (All Star). Thinking I would get the best service there. The first thing that Jack the owner asked me was Let me see your rings thinking that I was scratching the finish off. I told him I only wear a wedding band and that would not scratch off the finish like this. He had one of his men look at the wheel and then told me GMC does not let us change out any interior trims. This sounded strange to me so I called GMC costumer service when I returned home. They first looked in there data base to see if GMC had indeed stop most interior trims warranty work. They could not find anything that would suggest that. Then they called All Star and talked to the service man that had looked at my steering wheel. He informed Nicole Johnson with GMC customer service (Case # 71-645305736) that I had got chemicals on the steering wheel. I work as an instructor in a Tech school. I do not work with any chemicals. Nicole informed me that they could not do anything about this. At this point I was mad. I tried to stay calm on the phone with Nicole. I told her I was going to go back to All Star and give them a piece of my mind. After telling her that I was sorry for getting upset I decided to never set foot in All Star again. So I ask if I get another dealer to look at this and they saw that it was not chemicals, could it then be replaced. She said yes, and I was going to take it to Jennings LA and she suggested I take it to Martin. THANK YOU NICOLE! I took my truck to Martin GMC and found a politer and professional service staff there. They could not believe how I was treaded at All Star. Don Granger was very helpful and did an adhesion test on the steering wheel and said it did not look like any chemicals had done this and he ordered a new steering wheel and had it replace in less than one hour. I cannot say enough about the service at Martin GMC. I was amazed at the difference in the way I was treaded. After being treaded the way I was at All Star I was so down I felt that I would not be buying another GMC at least not in the Lake Charles area. Now I know I can go to Martin and have excellent service and not be lied to. I do not like being lied to and pushed away with one real reason for not fixing the steering wheel and then having the Customer service person give me a completely different reason for not fixing the steering wheel. I will never set foot in All Star again as they lied to me about why they would not fix the problem. Martin GMC you are the All Stars in this story thanks again and I will be back. One more thing I would like to say about All Star. The information I am about to give here I found while going through all of the steering wheel issues above. All Star GMC had sold this truck to Global Pollution Service Inc. on 9-27-07. I found this written in one of the owners manuals in the truck. Also OnStar wanted to start charging me for there service next month. I am thinking about getting in touch with a lawyer about this. As All Star lied then also and sold me a used truck. I know the mileage was 175 when I received the truck and the mileage when global wrote the information was 123. I feel that I should have been informed that the OnStar was turned on and that there was a sale on the truck as well. AllStar is just a very shady dealer. Again this is my first and last truck I will buy there. Thanks again Martin GMC,
