We weren't sure what kind of vehicle we wanted to end up with, but Arnold was very willing to show us any and all vehicles that might meet our needs, new and used. Arnold was extremely knowledgeable about this model and clearly a dedicated salesman, virtues that some tend to forget in this arena. I've looked at a fair number of vehicles in the last three weeks and started to dread pulling into a dealers lot. I felt like a dead rabbit carcass beside the road with vultures circling overhead ready to swoop in for their next meal. Bit dramatic I know, but true. Not once did I feel that way today as Arnold and the the rest of the staff at Anchorage Chrysler helped me purchase my used Toyota 4runner. All in all I left having not felt pressured, harassed or hurried in making my decision. I left with the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. Thank you for a great buying experience and will recommend to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

I had the pleasure of working with Connor Kimbrell. This was my 2nd purchase from the dealership with his assistance. Once again I'm both blown away and impressed. I have certain medial considerations that brought me back to the dealership to switch vehicles after I had purchased a Ram 1500. I appreciated that while Connor certainly wanted to make a sale he was more interested in getting me into the right vehicle to meet my needs. Mission accomplished and a great purchase price to boot. Anchorage Chrysler and Connor have treated me like a rock star in every step of the process. Over all it took 4.5 hours to finalize all the paperwork, Test driving several car's. Haggling over prices, discounts and interest rates. It is always better if you do your homework know what you want before you inter any dealer, and get preapproved financing from a bank. The car sales man was very professional and did his best to speed up the process for us. Overall it was a good experience, we got what my husband wanted at a price and interest rate that was a pretty good deal.

I had recently moved to Alaska and I needed a truck. The dealerships excellent website helped me narrow down the truck I wanted and could afford. I showed up to the lot picked out the truck i wanted and my salesman George started up paperwork. He went the extra mile to make sure all the Ts were crossed before we started. The whole process was effortless and hassle free. The manager Jason was also a huge help with financing. I had left the dealership with my new 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 and was very satisfied. Would instantly recommend the dealership and the Truck to anyone.

I was very impressed with the knowledge that James had of all of the vehicles in the lineup. From the start the night before to the close the next day, every aspect went smoothly and without any pushy sales tactics. I was assisted in finding the vehicle I wanted in my price range, We drove the vehicle and checked everything out. I was presented the history of it, talked to the tech that worked on it, as they ran the vehicle through an extensive service program and opened the hood and talked about the work he did.When it came time for closing they were willing to negotiate with me and helped me find the best financing through several different sources. I rated the way I did, because the salesman was awesome, wasn't cocky, and let me do my own thing, didnt push me around or cut me off when I was talking, just a great guy to deal with. I went in to upgrade my warranty, and as I was waiting for the finance department Shane and I started talking. At the time I wasn't interested in anything, but he offered to show me a truck that just came in with a Cummins motor in it. After looking at it, he offered me a deal that I couldn't refuse. Now I own a truck that will literally last me a lifetime! So if you go to Anchorage Dodge, ask to speak with Shane O'Neil, or Mike Hanzuk! Shane and I met through a mutual friend on a dip netting trip to Fish Creek. Before I met Shane I thought all big dealer car salesmen were nothing but sharks out burry their next customer. It came as a pleasant surprise to learn there are good honest salesmen out there that do want the best for their customers.After my experience with shane, we started doing business together. I brought absolutely everyone I know to him for and extra ordinary car buying experience. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had and I can compare that to 7 past experiences with other dealerships (in state and out of state) and those other places could learn from this amazing crew!! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Salesman Spencer Castle, Sales Manager Travis Richardson and Richard in Finance. I have been in the market for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and have been looking at options for several months. I owned a Jeep in the past, it treated me very well and I have been wanting another one. Spencer and Travis worked hard to find me the perfect fit between the price, quality, color and features I wanted and they nailed it!! The car was spotless, gassed up and waiting for me at the front doors when I arrived that evening. They listened to me when I told them what I wanted and that is exactly what I got. The entire process was fun and it was a breeze! Very professional and pleasant from start to finish. Between the test drive, the sale and meeting with finance, I was in and out of the dealership in about 2.5 hours giving me plenty of time that evening to hit the road and enjoy my new vehicle. The excellent customer service continued after I left. I received follow up emails and text messages from the dealership thanking me for my purchase and providing me all the tools I need to care for my car and who to reach out to if I have any questions. My wife and I initially went in just to browse and as we were walking through the parking lot, the typical dealership salesman approached us. We immediately told him that we were just looking (looking back at it we were probably a little rude) and he respected us and told us, if we needed anything to let him know. So we continued to look and came across the truck. My wife loved the truck so we opened the door and saw that there was a sold sign on the floor. Bummed, we went to Shane O'neill and asked him if the sign was true or not. He ran inside and came back a minute later and told us that the deal fell through and if we wanted he could run start some paperwork to get it on hold. He was fast, friendly, and more importantly, cared about my wife's concerns. This guy did everything he could to help us get into the truck and it was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend anyone thinking about purchasing a vehicle to see Shane. I will definitely come back to Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Center for future vehicle purchases solely for this reason alone. Thanks Shane!

Travis, I would like to personally tell you that you are the sole reason my family will NEVER return to Anchorage DJC for any future purchases. As a Veteran and return customer (we have bought and sold several vehicles at your dealership over the past few years). I have NEVER been so blatantly disrespected by a dealership until yesterday when I had the unfortunate pleasure to talk to you. We had spoke two times in the past and both conversations after making a 2 and a half hour trip into Anchorage (one way), were not my most memorable but nowhere near as horrific as yesterdays fiasco. I would like to give you some personal advice. NEVER get threatening towards a customer who is coming to your place a business to spend over 30,000.00, also never HANG UP on a customer who is asking why "numbers changed" when you submitted the deal to the customers bank. Lastly, don't be a xxxxx! We all have our bad days but the utter disrespect you showed me and my family yesterday was uncalled for, disrespectful, harassing and downright unacceptable. The sale offer we had planned should have been the easiest closing a manager and sales team should ever experience. I was preapproved, we already had a trade in value set, numbers were done and all of this was done mostly on my part getting things over to the bank. My end term goal was to arrive at DJC, sign paperwork, shake hands and leave as all the legwork was done on my part. I shouldn't have been hung up on and verbally accosted by you, a member of Management, nor should I have been called a liar or had to deal with your attitude after you changed numbers against what was agreed on. Upon speaking with my loan officer at my bank, I was informed that she too was disrespected by you when she spoke with you on the phone. I would expect this type of treatment from a dirt lot car dealer not a "big name" dealership. I would like to offer you some advice if you plan on sticking in this career field. Take notes from the Sales Manager at Cal Worthington Ford (Elliot). I originally traded my 2012 Harley Davidson Edition F150 in at Cal for a 2009 F350 Diesel. Elliot, a stand up 100% honest manager spoke with me over the phone (same scenario we did at DJC), I asked him to draw paperwork up after he spent a few hours getting every detail I had asked for on the truck (Oasis report, report of all maintenance, full 360 photos, trade appraisal (they had it on file from the week prior when I looked at a truck at your lot and theirs), plus a few concerns (tires, fluids and filters etc.). I arrived the next morning and sadly when the truck went through detail several good scratches and dents were visible (the truck was dirty before he was able to get clean photos and overlooked them.) I was not pleased after making a long 2.+ hour trip in and openly confessed my displeasure with him. Elliot jumped through hoops getting these issues addressed and negotiating more to get the truck on a level playing field on value>trade. Upon leaving I ended up getting some phantom smoking issues from the exhaust on the diesel and after 2 trips into the dealer to get it addressed (a week after purchase) Cal agreed to do what ever it took to make things right. I was put into a rental car (through enterprise) paid for by Cal, I was given daily reports (sometimes 3-4 times) on the status of my truck and other options available if things could not be discovered. In the end and 8 days later I was given my F150 back as we just couldn't figure out the problems. Elliot picked me up from the rental company. He kept me in good spirits throughout the entire debacle and assured me that things would be ok and was very apologetic as well as EVERY member of their team from sales, service and the mechanic himself. They are what I call a SOLID dealership where I would GLADLY return. And I am openly stating this even though the vehicle I bought was in service more than it was driven.. yet I would STILL go back all because of the stellar customer service I received. I strongly suggest you meet Elliot and take some notes on HOW A MANAGER SHOULD TREAT A CUSTOMER. Cal Worthington Ford will continue to get business from my Family (we will be purchasing a new SUV within 3 months for my wife as well as a first car for my son in 4-5 months). Your actions speak LOUDLY for CJD and what nearly cost your store 1 sale now has cost them 2+ future sales in the upcoming months. Sadly I would offer you 0 stars but that is not an option.

I have never purchased a brand new vehicle before. I was nervous on what to expect, and I have never enjoyed working with dealerships. I currently live in Kodiak, AK and decided to deal with an off island dealership to purchase a new truck. I was very worried about the expense to put it on the ferry and bring it here, and thought I was going to be stressed out the entire time. I have had terrible experiences with dealerships in the past. It seems like dealerships only care about your money, and could care less about you as a person and what you are really looking for in a vehicle. This proved to not be true, and I had the exact opposite experience at Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Center. The people who work there were amazing. I had the pleasure of working with Caleb Maxwell throughout the entire purchase of my 2016 dodge ram 1500. He made everything so easy and stress free on my end. He worked VERY hard to ensure I got the best possible deal and that I received my truck in a timely manner. Caleb was willing to have a conversation with me about the vehicle and the process any time of day. My purchase experience was very low key. I have researched the truck thoroughly and only had a few items to investigate. Steve was patient in my multipoint inspection and answered all my questions with his knowledge of the vehicle capabilities. The showroom was exceptionally quiet on late Sunday evening so access to manager and finance was relatively easy. The deal was fair for both the dealer and myself.

I'm a new private in the army with not a howl lot of money. Going from dealership to dealership scam after scam, and then my dad gave me a call "Ive been talking to this guy Shane at the dealership I think you should go see him. Seems to have your best interest in mind". I took him up on it and Shane showed me some awesome trucks, we goofed around a bit, and then there she was. My big beautiful 2003 dodge ram. Feel in love immediately. Shane knew this and instead of taking advantage of me like most would, he helped me. Made sure I got a fair price, she was running spot on, and made sure my payments where affordable before ever giving me the keys. A couple months have passed and my baby is still cruising like the day I drove her off the lot. Shane was a huge help and a God send in finding my unicorn of a truck. This guy helps you find that once in a lifetime vehicle

I had several frustrating encounters with various members of the service department. Most recently I was connected with Paul Smith in the service department. Paul not only fixed my truck, but treated me with respect and went out of his way to listen to my frustrations, then actively sought to address them! Thank you, Paul, for your customer service!! I would not necessarily recommend certain members of their service department, but would HIGHLY recommend Paul!!

Tyler was the initial salesmen that helped me out. He greeted me promptly and professionally with a firm handshake. Tyler did a great job of interviewing me to determine my needs and was knowledgeable about RAM products. All of my questions were answered honestly and without salesmen double speak. Features and benefits were clearly explained. Our initial search did not find the right truck but Tyler contacted me later about another truck that had just come available. When I returned to the dealership he was working with another customer and after a quick introduction introduced me to George who would help me. George was helpful, honest, and showed a genuine concern for helping us find the right truck. He did an excellent job of keeping our 19 month old smiling and occupied in the back seat. Few salesmen understand the value of making googly eyes with a toddler so the parents can focus on the test drive. It is not about brown nosing or schmoozing it is about letting the parents focus on the important task of selecting the right vehicle. Well done George!.We finalized our purchase on the third visit and this time Tyler was back in action on our purchase. Tyler did a great job of teaching me all the ins and outs of the truck and helped me personalize the settings. Although the sale was finished and he had nothing more to sell me he still stood in the rain and took the extra time to make sure I was confident in the operation of the on board electronics.Years ago, I was a car salesmen and I have seen my fair share of sneaky tricks, dirty dealings, and post-sale high fives from salesmen who were thrilled to have skinned a buyer. Tyler and George do not operate that way and have earned my respect. Good salespeople are hard to come by. Anchorage Chrysler Dodge should not only give Tyler and George a pat on the back but also send a special thank you to management for finding, properly training, and supervising these two true professionals.

I don't even know where to begin. Ever since I was a teenager I have bought every vehicle I have ever owned from this dealership. I think I've had 7 vehicles so far. Every time I go there, there's always someone there to help and offer assistance, it just has been the best dealership to go to for the best vehicles that will last. I had been looking for about three weeks at all the dealerships in town. Ford Chevy Ram and Toyota, when I finally narrowed my search down to a Ram 2500 long bed a good friend recommended I talk to his buddy Robbie at Anchorage Chrysler. He had four trucks in stock that met my specs and let me test drive any/all I was interested in. I settled on a Black Model Laramie and am very pleased with my decision. The process of discussing price and rebates was straight forward all the facts were laid on the table and I felt Robbie was honest and fair. I am the proud owner of a nice rig at fair price. Unfortunately for the other guys in town after calling ahead telling them what I wanted ; when I visited them I was run around the lots looking for "subject" vehicle, also when I asked questions the salesman did not have all the answers. Customer service and knowledge sold me on Anch Crysler.

I just bought my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude with the help of Connor Kimbrell. This experience was so pleasant and easy. There was no need to haggle over the price because Connor was straight forward with everything. He found as many rebates and discounts as he could and was very helpful with the whole process. Even his manager worked to get us more rebates after we got our initial quote (which was much lower than I was expecting). Being able to keep in touch with Connor after the first time I checked out a Cherokee was very convenient, as I was able to ask questions and get additional information I may have forgotten to ask for. Overall this experience was fantastic! I highly recommend anyone to use this dealership for any car-buying needs.

I walked in to Anchorage Chrysler Dodge ready to buy a new Jeep. I was so frustrated and upset by the time time I left. To start Travis was condescending to the point of RUDE! He ran a price by me that was over $2000 more than the listed online price and when I called him on was so insincere OH my bad....Ha Ha. In my opinion he was demeaning to my sales man Cornelius, degrading him for small infractions in front of me like he was 4, I felt so bad for the sales team that had to work with him. I tried again with the service department, after I bought a Jeep from Lithia on Tutor, as It was under Jeep warranty and it was I thought more convenient to get parts from a Jeep dealer that was closer. I was not impressed. Although Dale in service did try very hard. The issues I had were not resolve, and after servicing my car I found things actually more broken. Updates were not even offered for the car, I had to ask to have every small detail . The key that I had ordered was $30 more than the one I later priced at Lithia Jeep in south Anchorage and I did not get a door key to go with the fob... besides the fact that I had to call to see if my fob was in, when I drove in to get it about 70 miles they could not find my fob and it took them 2 hours to locate it. It took 3 days and 3 hours in the shop to finally fix the part they broke because they had ordered the wrong part and had to go to Lithia to get the correct part. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone.

We had an awful experience at Lithia of Wasilla (by the way I will never ever recommend that place to anyone) With hesitation (after our awful dealings with Lithia) we decided to go to Anchorhae Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. This was the easiest car buying experience I have ever! I was literally in the dealership for maybe an hour tops. Shane O'Neil did almost everything over the phone before I went in to the dealership. I went in and spoke to Shane about possibly trading in my wife's Subaru Crosstrek for a new Jeep. I explained to him the thousand different options my wife wanted, leather seats, sun roof, room for the dog etc etc etc and he took me straight to this new Jeep Renegade. The fact that he took the time to listen and took me straight to what I asked for was very appreciated and earned a sale. Not too mention, the price was excellent and they were willing to deal with me. My wife loves the vehicle and as you can see she uses her fancy camera to take photos of it on all of her adventures. I drove all the way from Kenai last weekend with the intention of trading in my car. I initially went to the Chevy dealership but am glad I passed on their offer and went to the Chrysler Dodge/Jeep dealership. Not only did they have a better inventory and better prices, but the salesman who helped me named Connor K. exceeded my expectations by far. The sale didn't feel pushy it felt more like a friend showing me a new car. I never even considered buying a Jeep but after Connor heard my wants and needs he was able to fit me in a new Jeep Patriot that met everything I was looking for. He thoroughly explained all of the features and benefits of the vehicle and made the paperwork a breeze to complete. My only complaint was at the end of the purchase when I met with the finance gentleman to complete my paperwork. He was incredibly pushy with the Chrysler extended warranty and was honestly just rude once I said I didn't want it. I was ready to walk out at one point. Connor's exceptional customer service skills however saved the deal and I decided to proceed with my purchase. This was the most customer service oriented low pressure car purchase I've ever experienced. From the time we stepped on the lot just to look at a used vehicle we were interested in, to driving off with that vehicle we were made to feel welcome. Absolutely no pressure was used by the sales team of James Grubb and Jason Wood. We were able to negotiate a fair price in a matter of minutes. I applied to trade in my 07 Charger that I had only made about 4 months worth of payments on for a 2015 Camaro. Because of the year and high mileage as well as bad, relatively new credit, I was sure I would get denied, but Connor was a tremendous help. I made an appointment to build my truck. I met with Calvin and together he explained the features available for the vehicle I had in mind. A few days before my truck was expected to arrive, I received a call from Bobby Easterwood who introduced himself to me and provided an update on the vehicle and explained the process on purchasing the vehicle. When I came into the dealership on pick up day, Bobby was professional and friendly. He and Jason Wood have great customer service and went above and beyond to ensure the process was as smooth as possible. I hadn't purchased a new vehicle in over 15 years and the last experience wasn't positive, so I was kind of dreading the price negotiation part, but the price for my truck was even less than what I was expecting. I was so happy because with the money I saved from the bottom line, I was able to purchase accessories for my truck on the spot. Jason Wood was polite and patient while he coordinated with my out of state bank for vehicle payment. Bobby showed me how to set up all the high tech stuff in my new truck that I was not used to. Overall my experience was positive and wonderful! I love my new power wagon!

I already had a couple of vehicles in mind - from a multitude of other merchants - by the time I had found myself in the Chrysler/Dodge dealership lot, stuck juxtaposing the desirable options with what this lot had to offer. Within a short amount of time, one of the sales represetatives, by the name of Caleb, came to see if I had any questions. I had already surveyed the lot and assessed my options, finding myself providing a choreographed questionaire for him - the same as his predecessors. The first things that stood out were his candor, personability, and honesty. We soon isolated the vehicles offered by the criteria I stipulated and began to examine the details of each. He answered my questions not just with an intent to make a sale, but also with an integrity of being held to his word. He was exciteable and eager to assist, but also filled any gaps in conversation or tenuous waiting periods with peer driven small-talk. We eventually deduced the options to the the car bought and pictured with this review, which fit exactly what I set out to buy. So, were there other options as alluring as the car I finally decided on? Sure. Was it inevitable that I would buy whatever I wanted regardless of the lot or sales representative? Absolutely. Could I have meandered on and added to an already extensive indecisive list? Considering the plethora of vehicle retailers in Anchorage, undeniably. But I might have passed up and missed out on the gem of a car I did end up driving away with. Caleb facilitated that. Not through manipulation, but from a candid transparency and a genuine wish to be helpful.

Caleb was very helpful from the first time I talked to him about my interest in a new vehicle, until I drove it off the parking lot. My husband and I are currently living in Fairbanks, AK and we have been in search for an amazing deal for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Edition for roughly 1 years. When we finally came across a White Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Edition located at Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Center we chatted with a representative online (which made things incredible easy since we do not live in Anchorage). Logan Hufford originally was the rep we had originally spoken with. He understood that we were going to be coming down and did not have much time to have a all day affair at every dealership we had lined up...he gave us a price before we even came down to take a look at the vehicle and kept us up to date about the Jeep since we were a week away from coming down. He full warned us a day prior that he would not be available due to a family matter but had given our information to our new rep Brian Welton. Brian was absolutely amazing! He provided exceptional service, and made sure we were taken care of...from picking up where Logan had left to the moment he handed us the keys to this beautiful Jeep. George Fox didn't play any games with us. He was not pushy and he helped us get an amazing deal on a used truck. We are not impulse buyers, especially with vehicles, and George was patient and answered all of our questions and helped find the information that we requested. We made an offer on the vehicle that we wanted and it was accepted. The back tires were worn and the dealership said they would replace them and match them with the front tires. I asked them to put high quality all weather truck tires on and they gave me a great deal on two matching tires for the front. They had the truck clean and topped off with gas when we drove it off the lot. We had a great experience here, no complaints and I would purchase another vehicle from this dealership based on our experience with them.

My wife and I went to every major car dealership in ANC (we had thought) and had an awful time. We would find cars we liked only to find out that it was unavailable, going to an auction, or dealer was unreasonable on price. We were recommended by a friend to give Steve a call after we told them all of the trouble we were having. He was so honest with us, took us both on the longest test drive out of any salesman, and actually asked questions to find out what we were needing instead of just what we thought we wanted. This kind of a salesman lead us to the cars we thought we wanted and to cars that we had never thought of only to find out that they perfectly matched what we needed in a car! This was a car for my wife and she picked a metallic green Scion with a crazy stereo and DVD player. Something I never would have thought she would be interested. With the height of the car she can get our son in the back car seat without ever hitting her head.Thank you Steve for all your help!

I had a great shopping experience with Dodge, Steve is an excellent sales rep and really helped me sort through my options. I was shopping around town and stopped by on 3 separate occasions to look at about 6 different cars. He really wanted to make sure I got into a good vehicle that suited my needs. I ended up with a Charger that has the performance I wanted but the practicallity of being able to get around town in winter. I did have some frustration with the finance guy, mostly that he was overly insistent that I spring for the extended warranty which would have brought my monthly payments well past my budget. I had to refuse 6 times before he would drop the matter and let me just buy my car. I can appreciate that it's his job to offer it but I don't need the question repeated that many times. Overall I would recommend this dealership though, the sales reps definitely listen to what you have to say and take your needs into account.

I went in to the dealership in August as a young single gal trying to buy a newer car for this first time by myself. I wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it was a little pricy for price range. So the dealer took me straight to this beautiful blue jeep Cherokee with only 5000 miles. What I thought was a great deal has turned into a nightmare!With my father being a mechanic, I was so proud of myself to have done this on my own... To find a such a great car on my own that seemed like a sound deal. Only 2 weeks after I bought it the check engine light came on as well as all the other bells and whistles. It was a nightmare trying to even get my car into the shop as I live 200 miles away. I finally get it in after the check engine light goes off and on about 3 different times in a week and a half time span. They sent it back to me- not fixed. Told meit was a "soft ware update" so I should come back in a month. I then also had my transmission disengage while driving on the highway. I tried accelerating and my car when not move. It then leaps forward almost hitting the car in front of me. Did some research, apparently this type of jeep has known issues for transmission failure. Luckily, my father being a mechanic called and wanted info on previous service records cause it didn't sound right to him.He finally gets it out of them that they all know exactly what car I have because it has an inch thick file and some were surprised it was even put back on the lot. Great. Now I have a car that has been in and out of the shop since day 1 with the original owners. I've had my car in the shop 3 times in the 2 1/2 months I've owned it, with the last time giving it to them was 3 weeks ago and it has not been fixed so I've been driving around a rental.Overall, I am not happy with my experience. They sold me a vehicle with known issues that they have not been able to fix. My beautiful blue car is pretty much a lemon. The managers we've have contact with have been helpful in this process- however, we've had negative experiences in other departments I am now aware that this issue is common and that the mechanics and techs are doing the best they can, however, the customer service in resolving my issues is far from acceptable. I feel taken advantage of, especially after being referred to this dealer by a close friend. My college graduation present to myself has been but a nightmare that has cost me days of missed work to drive in and 1200 miles on my new car alone. Now we are considering going through the lemon law, which we need the service records in order to prove that the car has been in the shop 3 times for the same exact issues. They told us that we have to call Chrysler headquarters to get them... Well we did that and they informed us that they do not in fact have them but my dealership has them. And by law, they are required to give those to us. So now we are also being lied to. I find it hard to have faith in this company if they are lying to me. All I want is the truth and assistance so I can get this taken care of and have a safe and functional car. I'm praying they make this right.

Wow. There is not enough time in my day to describe how thankful I am to the crew at Anchorage Jeep. I have purchased many cars in my lifetime, and this was bar none the easiest experience I have EVER had. I even kept telling my husband, "So, when is the bad news coming?" It never came. We walked in there late on a Sunday night, it was snowing and cold. The Jeep I wanted to see was BURIED behind 6 other cars. "JMAC" didn't miss a beat. My mother-in-law couldn't stop raving about this downtown dealership (Anchorage Chrylser Center) so I had to give it a try. Steve got me in and out within an hour an a half! The whole staff was so professional and friendly. That's more to say than the other dealership who sold the same type of car I was looking for who wasn't able to do much at all, took hours, overly-screening and just wasted my time. Anchorage Chrylser Center literally knows what they're doing and I'll even drive the extra mile to get my auto maintenance and everything else oppose to the other close by dealership. Worked with George Fox and Jason Wood to secure an awesome 2015 Ram 1500. Had a little bit of confusion with some service work that was done. The truck was pulled from the lot to do maintenance and it had seemed as if it were sold. After looking at other options, I saw the truck returned to the website and our business continued. I live about 6 hours from the dealership, so getting all of our ducks in a row ahead of time was a great deal. Flew in as the dealership opened at 10AM, and I was out the door, keys in hand by 11:30AM. George is immensely knowledgable about the vehicles they sell. I had already done a fair amount of research ahead of time, but George mentioned a few things I didn't know about the systems. Car buying, like most commercial transactions, rates an imperfect science. Much is left unspoken, while what is said often rings hollow, if not outright false. Anchorage Chrysler Center offered the only Honda CR-Z for public sale in Alaska -- a car that has sold less than 12,000 units annually since being introduced. It's a rare bird, certainly not for everyone. For most, a tough, lengthy sell. With three owners already deciding to ditch this car, I had doubts. A hybrid? In Alaska? I first stopped to see the car early (think 9 am) on a weekday. I was addressed loudly across the lot by a man who was smoking and clearly destined to finish his cigar. The car was unlocked but the battery was dead. I wanted to place it in a visual context so help was unnecessary. I noted that both fog lamps were cracked and condensation had formed inside the housing (I later confirmed one of the lights to be burned out). Too, the lower bumper apron had several scrapes. I left without talking to anyone. I found the car online and asked via chat if the fog lamp housings and bulbs would be replaced before sale. Logan Hufford contacted me later the same day to confirm that, yes, both units would be replaced. I appreciated this, but would hope any dealer listing would either include this blemish - offering photographic evidence online - in their description of the car or fix the issue before offering the vehicle for sale. Not dishonest necessary, but would they have offered to replace the lamps had I not approached the subject?Logan was calm, he let the car sell itself. He communicated well, though didn't offer additional information. All questions were quickly answered, but little was volunteered. Other salesman seemed quite smart a**, Logan did well to stay professional with his client. He is an appreciated exception.The sale was relatively painless. Their showroom sales cubicles could use work, though. We sat in a three-sided room which contained only a greasy table, three chairs, a wastebasket, and one mysterious black backpack for 1 1/2 hours while paperwork was completed. Again, Logan was explanatory and walked us through where to sign and why. **Additional Notes**I'd like to see their used cars come with a written checklist of services performed before sale -- I was told the car was given a thorough 'safety inspection' though what this is exactly, I couldn't say. The engine oil appears clean and the air filter is fresh, but the cabin air filter was not replaced. Also, see fog lamp saga above.Too, Anchorage Chrysler Center does not offer a limited powertrain warranty on used hybrid cars or those which have turbos strapped to them. I was initially told the car came with a 3 month warranty. Only while signing the paperwork did Logan say otherwise; it had been mislabeled while on the lot. Ummm, OK. The smart money is to honor the original offer since the mistake was not made public until well into the buying process. I'm not worried about the drivetrain, it's the principle.

Usually when I go to a car dealership I feel like prey. The salesman are seeking out their next pay check which is quite scary and unprofessional. I didn't feel any of that here at Chrysler. On our anniversary weekend my husband and I decided to test drive a truck. George Fox took us on the drive and showed us some fun features of the vehicle. Overnight we took some time to think about buying and came back the next day to meet with Genaro Leyva and Logan Hufford. The guys were able to get us a payment that we were comfortable with and even gave us a few more hours to consider the new debt. Our only semi-negative experience came during the meeting with finance. Unfortunately I don't remember the man's name, it wasn't Tony, but I feel that he was very pushy and repetitive when discussing the 7 year warranty. When an issue out of Connor's control threatened to end our deal, Connor did everything he could to ensure our satisfaction. He fixed everything as best he could and in the end my wife and I left with a better vehicle at a fantastic price. They gave us top dollar for our trade in too! I will definitely recommend this salesmen and dealership to my friends.I did give the service department only one star because we had arranged to purchase a different vehicle that had supposedly been turned over by their service department but after a thorough walk around, it was pretty clear that it had not been touched.

What a great experience!!! I live in Valdez and I was able to pick out my truck online and get approval over the phone so when I showed up in Anchorage to pick it up all I had to do was sign my paperwork and drive off the lot. They even found me to the color I wanted over the phone, and when I got there it was a quick and friendly operation. I will be returning again whenever I am in need of a new vehicle. I bought a used truck from Anchorage Chrysler Dodge and within 3 hours a CV Axle had fallen off due to lack of bolts being placed when it was replaced. I contacted the dealership on Sunday the day after I purchased the truck. They had my vehicle towed and fixed within 24 hours. I was recommended to Anchorage Chrysler by a friend. Nevertheless, I was still skeptical as I have purchased a dozen different cars all from deslerships in my lifetime. As you can imagine, I have experienced almost every kind of sales person.. In the past it was something I just dreaded to a point where I felt so uncomfortable i couldnt be myself. My experience was I either had the sales person who literally behaved as though I was financially incompetent if I didn't purchase THIS, THE only car in this world that made sense or the sales person who was so laid back, they truly did not care if I had a question or needed any assistance and I have left more than once dealerships for both types. At Anchorage Chrysler we were greeted by Mr. Logan Hufford, told him what I was looking for and he directed me right to the trucks that fit in my category and price range. After looking over what he showed me and had answers for all questions, I looked at other trucks at other dealerships and Mr. Hufford and Anchorage Chrysler seemed like where I wanted to run back to! Yep, other dealers were that different! I texted several questions to Mr. Hufford and I knew he was busy, yet he got back very quickly and it became an easy decision after a day. Then, he stayed late on a Friday night and it went so quickly & easily, I have had it take longer to purchase a pack of gum. Honestly, it was such a GOOD experience, I kept waiting for something else but it was very simple and Mr. Hufford answered all our questions and was very thorough and patient. I will recomment any and all friends, family and acquaintances to Mr. Hufford at Anchorage Chrysler.. Also, I must add that he instilled trust in me. His facts were verifiable and I feel very comfortable with their entire office.. Frankly, My best case scenario was not this good and I am still rather pleasantly surprised. Very small business type personal service. Haven't experienced this in a car deslership. A truly pleasant surprise. Thank you, Logan! Also, i must add, I was sure the purchase would take between 1-2 hours and it was less than an hour. Who knew?!

I've seen a lot of good reviews about Anchorage Chrysler Dodge but I was one of the few that did not have a good experience with them. I recently bought a used 2012 Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti with 24,000 miles on 4/21/15. In less than 24 Hours my vehicle broke down. I contacted Mike the general manager of the used car department and he told me that cars do break down, it happens and also I bought the car as is. The used car that they sold me had aftermarket parts which voided the warranty of the vehicle . Its been almost 2 weeks and I still have not gotten word If Chrysler Dodge will help me with the situation I am in. They have been going back and forth with me and I just would like to get the word out that this is happening.

I came in very guarded, expecting fine print that would increase the drive-away price. Turns out the print was apparently -- excuse the pun -- just fine! There was a small matter where I discovered the interest rate was higher than I assumed it would be, and I did not notice this until after I signed, but when I brought it to attention of dealer, he gave me an explanation that reassured me that I had made the right deal. And so I have no current reason to feel anything other than total satisfaction.

By far the best experience I've ever had at a dealership! My dealer George made sure he was familiar with the car I was interested in and extremely knowledgeable with every question I had. They offered me a very fair price for my trade in and made sure all rebates were applied. The financial aspect was stress free and felt zero pressure from anyone with making h e purchuse. I have no qualms regarding the vehicle selection process. Initial salesperson (Ray) didn't seem to be extremely knowledgable in the particular vehicle I purchased, but with so many vehicles on the lot I was willing to overlook that. However, he was not responsive to my communications AT ALL, seemed dishonest, gave incorrect information, and he sent me a followup email asking if I was still interested in a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT VEHICLE. At some point, it seemed Ray no longer wanted to deal with me and I was passed to Steve Callison and he was GREAT! Anchorage Chrysler needs to hire more people like Steve. He took the time to walk me through the purchasing process, answered all of my questions, was very knowledgable when asked specific direct questions, and really seemed to care that I understood everything about the purchase. I really hope that upper management reads this review and compensates Steve for this sale because I was minutes away from giving up and buying a car from Lithia until he stepped in. The manager, Jason, was also very friendly and helped me to get the deal I wanted (maybe he knew I was getting frustrated?). The finance guy (can't remember his name) was also very kind to me and my daughter and lightened up the dreary process of going through the financial detials. He also took the time to answer many of my dumb questions regarding extended warranty, etc. My overall experience was positive, although frustrating initially. I would more than likely purchase another vehicle at this location assuming that I could get Steve as a salesperson.

Logan is a great person, I always felt I was getting the whole picture from him and would purchase a car from Logan at any other dealership but this one. This was our second Jeep from this dealership, the first one at 32,000 miles had a transmission issue, the vehicle was still under warranty but it sat in the shop for weeks before we were told that it could take months to have it fixed. I was told that warranty work is not a priority! There was no loaner car offered to get us through, we sought out a new car just for the assurance of a warranty and I can not put into words the betrayal and lack of support in trying to get our vehicle back on the road. It was actually Logan who on his day off contacted the shop and found out that the mechanic had not even looked into the problem after 3 weeks of being parked. Very disappointing experience and because of that I would not go back and would never refer anyone to this dealership in fact a friend recently purchased a Jeep compass from Lithia based on my experience with your dealership.

After leaving a detailed message on my wants and needs, Logan called me the next day. From that point on he had all the information I asked for or was getting it. He set up a test drive and understood my need to think on my decision for a day or two. When I bought the truck, he set up my Rhino Lining and running board appt. He was working to make sure I was being taken care of and any issues I had were being addressed.

Originally I was going to purchase my car from Dave Smith Motors in Idaho because I couldn't find a better price up here in Alaska. I called your dealership and was put in contact w Logan. I told Logan if he could get me a better price on a Dodge Journey, than what Dave smith motors was offering, that I would buy. My experience with this dealership was the best I've ever had! Came to dodge completely discouraged about the possibility of trading my current vehicle in and getting something new. I was terribly upside down and they worked so so hard to get me in a new car with a full warranty and a great monthly payment! My salesman was van castle very sweet and understanding Man! I told him my issues up front and I left there lot 2 hours later with a brand new charger I couldn't be more pleased!!!!

Quick and hassle-free at this dealership. Right away Steve Callison helped me out. His knowledge and expertise on the vehicle I purchased was exceptional. He was very kind and courteous, never felt like he was just forcing me in to a car. I would highly recommend if you visit this dealership that you seek him out. The dealership is also very military friendly.

From the minute me and my family got out of our vehicle we had a great experience. Shane Oneil was our sales rep and he was only concerned with what we wanted as customers from start to finish. We drove off with a new 2014 Ram 1500 and every employee was great during every phase of purchase. I would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. Very great experience for my family.

By far the friendliest and most respectful staff I've worked with. Not only fast and efficient on contacting me, the staff works to make you feel appreciated. I got to work with Connor who made sure I was not sold a vehicle but places into a vehicle that I felt comfortable with and within budget. we had a really good experience. Connor was not pushy or overbearing. He helped me find a jeep in my price range that I just love. With my busy schedule I liked that he text me things I needed to Know. I feel comfortable Knowing I can talk to him about any questions I may have about my jeep. I world with Tyler and he had great customer service from day one. My wife was dead set on what she wanted and Tyler looked up the car and found out that it was in transit. He helped us hold the vehicle and plan a surprise for my wife by getting the car in the show room floor for her. He had great communication and was very personable. I even stayed in contact with him to show him some of the aftermarket parts we had put on the car. Overall great experiance!

Dealerships in Fairbanks, especially Gene's, seem to employ personnel with little or no sales skills, even worse, no people skills. That all changed when we were in Anchorage and met Tyler at Anchorage DJR Center. Tyler is an excellent salesman who sincerely cares about his customers needs and desires. He is supported by a superb team leader, all the staff were professional and courteous, we highly recommend not to purchase a vehicle until you stop into Anchorage Dodge, Jeep, Ram Center.
