I was referred to this dealership by another dealership in another state. I found the car I liked and needed here.Yoshwa Shields was knowledgable and concerned that I got the car that fit my needs, but was also the best for me personally. I am very pleased with this low milage well kept car. I also like its quality and design. It is quiet smooth and has every feature I want and is user friendly. The knobs and handles even seem right. Again, I like the car I ended up buying and am grateful for all the knowledgable and friendly people who helped me get it right.

Yoshwa Shields is the go to guy! I came to AutoNation at VW and was greeted by Yoshwa who was very professional and easy to talk to. I told him the type of car I was interested in and within a few minutes we were test driving. I ended up finding my new car that day and the entire process went so smooth. ip on date 9-7-2016 after I left store I realize that they put more on my contract they never tell for dealer fees tax fees apr fess extended warranty and my car Ben driven 60 mill beafore I sign contract they sold me car as new not like use from 26.000 promising they charge me over 30.000 dollars after all I did go over ther in store to ask them why or returned my car General Maneger trow me out from store and parking lot they tret me if I came back that I'm gonna be arrested and charge for transposing my car got tehnical issue and I'm not allewed to go over ther

Christopher Guilkey immediately greeted us when we walked into the service lane. Very nice and as us what the problem was and listen to everything we had to say. When told us not sure how long it's gonna take to find the problem, we waited in the lounge which they provided complimentary water bottles, coffee, and DONUTS!!! I mean what can be better then that?!?!? All in all it took about 2 hrs and they wash and tire shine your car too. Excellent job guys!

The only reason I haven't sued them is because there is a helpful sales guy, Robin. If it wasn't for him, they would deserve zero stars. Their service department is a combination of incompetence and dishonesty. I had my jetta towed in for what should have been an easy 3 hour job, but after a week later they gave me the car back and I ended up stranded again because of the same issue only 2 hours after picking it up from the service department... Janine, the service manager, has no management or customer service skills. My car still has issues that I think are related to those terrible repairs and I am still waiting for the reimbursement check that they promised. Between the fact that VW lead me to believe I was buying a "green car" that is actually polluting 10 to 40 times what the EPA allows and the fact that their local "reputable" dealer is dishonest, I decided that while this is not my 1st VW, it will be my last.

Awesome experience with service department and Jake Conlee! We hit something on our drive from Reno to LV. Made it to the dealership and it was clear that we were not going anywhere else. Jake helped coordinate with our auto insurance company for the repairs. He was persistent in ensuring it was fixed in a timely fashion and stood by his word about the cost. He was awesome! Car was fixed and we are happy.

I walked in and right off. I could tell they were very busy but I'm a patient person. When Lisa did get to me she was great and got my car right in for an oil change. As the time flew by my kids enjoyed a donut and water while I enjoyed much needed coffee. When my car was finished she explained everything to me and I checked out just as quick as I checked in. It was a two week process getting my new car, not because of the dealership but because of personal decisions. Yoshuwa was amazing through out the entire process, he kept in contact with me to let me know what was happing with paper work the whole time. My car was totaled in an accident in Vegas so I needed to find a replacement car within a week or so. After trying more than a few dealers in Vegas (and out of state dealers), I finally found a great price on a car at AutoNation VW. I checked out the CarFax, then drove to the dealer early on a Friday morning. I talked with the internet sales rep, Tyler, first (didn't see any other sales reps around). He had a no nonsense approach and was not pushy. He and the sales manager answered my questions, then Tyler took me out to look at the cars they had on the lot. We test drove one that I liked and I let them know I was interested so then we talked price. After the sales manager and I agreed on a price the paperwork began. Luckily for me, Tyler and the rest of the team didn't mess around when I told them I had a good deal on financing and didn't need to hear there finance deal. Although they did try to beat my rate, after a few minutes, they realized I wasn't interested and didn't push it. Overall, I think I got a great deal on a great car and so far I've been happy with everyone I dealt with at AutoNation VW. I'll admit that reading some of the reviews made me nervous, but so far so good. I've texted issues w Tyler that he resolved quickly and also took the car by the store to have them help me learn what 'normal' VW things its doing. After teaching me about it, I'm feeling smarter about the car (its my first VW). The only minor issue I had was that I think the car was rushed through wash/detail since I was waiting out front for it and it hadn't been detailed yet when we drove it. It looked ok (that's why 3 stars for quality of work) when I left, but after a day you could tell they missed some spots due to rushing to get the car done. I'll update this review later if I have anything more to add.

I contacted AutoNation VW as I was shopping for a new car, my 2012 Jetta lease due to expire in June 2016. I had gotten a price from the other VW dealership in town and was probably going to finalize that deal when I saw the TV ad for AutoNation VW. I contacted AutoNation VW by email and almost immediately heard from Tyler Cloud Tyler emailed and called me as well.I told Tyler what I was looking for, what type of car I was driving and how much I wanted to spend a month as well as what his competition was going to do. Tyler assured me that AutoNation VW would get me what I wanted and at a better price.I have to say I figured they would match the other dealers offer or better it by a few dollars. I was really surprised when we went to AutoNation, met Tyler and the finance Manager Robin. Both guys were extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and not hardcore sellers. I would RECOMMEND AUTONATION VW, TYLER CLOUD and everyone that I have encountered there. I got the car I wanted for less than the other dealership was offering per month with less down as well...but I feel that Tyler was really interested in getting me what I wanted, not just another sale. This is my 5th VW and my 4th Jetta lease!! I have been through this process before and this was probably the easiest and most pleasant negotiation for a new lease, Robin was really great too! My husband was equally impressed as well. My daughter who drives a 2006 Jetta is going to be looking for a new car and I will highly recommend that she call Tyler Cloud and AutoNation VW. I know they will give her the best deal. Tyler didn't just sell me the car, he has followed up with me since and helped with syncing the bluetooth for me as well. I feel that Tyler and everyone at AutoNation VW are there for me if I have any questions or concerns now and in the future. They have my future business!!

I was never going to ever lease a Volkswagen again due to really bad experiences at another Las Vegas Dealer Ship . Last year I had a horrible service experience. And then before my lease was up sales tried to force me in to leasing a car . They called me it do the deal . I purchased a NEW 2015 Jetta. After a couple days we noticed a clicking noise coming from under the car. Took it to service right away. They said it was coming from the exhaust system and that it was "normal". HOW? I have had many cars over the years and I have never heard that noise in any of my cars. The salesman was John Arnold and Doug Saxton, they never disclosed this information. Would of I bought the car knowing this, NO! I called VW customer care and they gave the same lame response "that it is normal and some cars do that" and they told me to get a second opinion. This is 2015 Jetta and I'm getting second opinions. If you want to buy a VW just be aware that its going to have a clicking noise coming from under the car.

We were in the market to buy our 16 year old daughter a vehicle. We narrowed it to a Beetle, Fiat and MINI. We initially started on the internet and Tyler Cloud replied within 1 minute to our inquiry. When we arrived at AutoNation, Tyler was courteous, extremely knowledgeable and a real pleasure to work with. He showed us a 2012 Beetle, fully loaded and super low miles (4K). We went and looked at other dealerships but none of them could match this vehicle. Tyler kept in touch and really worked hard to show us that he and AutoNation wanted our business. We bought the vehicle and our 16 year old is over the moon. The car is super fun to drive and we really enjoyed working with all of the folks at VW. It really was an Awesome Experience!!

Had some engine lights on in my car, took it to this VW and Tyler Marvin was my service agent, he did a marvelous job on explaining everything to me and getting me everything I needed. He also went above and beyond in helping me when I left some items there with either looking for them or finding them and returning them to me! My car was going to need to be down for a few days so they were able to get me a loaner car and I was out of there in a reasonable amount of time, my car was also fixed within a reasonable amount of time as well :) I will be going back to this VW if I have anymore problems arise based of their standard of customer service over others! Go see Tyler if you need service, he is the best service advisor and will take care of you!

The manager and the finance officer were so understanding and respectful. As we currently had a 2011 Jetta TDI, we were thinking about a 2015 model with a few more bells & whistles. We called Robin at AutoNation VW and discussed what we wanted. Robin found a beautiful 2015 Jetta TDI SEL in the color and with the options we wanted. Jenn (sales manager) was warm and welcoming and treated us like family. After going over the deal and our trade-in without much dickering, we went home in our new car in about 3 hours -- record time for us! The rebate and zero percent financing sealed the deal (thank you Volkswagen!). How can you refuse zero percent financing?!?! We didn't have to put out any money, which is hard to believe these days.This was our second new car purchase at AutoNation and was a very good experience. We felt we were treated like old friends. The only thing missing is ringing the bell when the deal was done. Please bring back the bell!

I shopped around extensively for the exact vehicle I wanted and compared prices within a 500 mile range. Knowing I travel through or near some major cities, I was willing to travel to save several hundreds of dollars. Well I did just that. The Boise dealership was rude and insulting. I tried Twin Falls and they were somewhat more helpful but couldn't hit the price marked. I had several in the ballpark, and almost purchased at Findley North in Las Vegas, but they were deceitful and less than forthcoming on details and pressuring me to make a deal without knowing what I was buying. I started txting, yes txting AutoNation on a vehicle I wanted. They located the vehicle I wanted gave me a price $250 cheaper than anything else I found (and $700 cheaper than my local dealership - OUT THE DOOR). We made a deal (again, via txt), We flew into VEGAS BABY, Delilah picked us up at the airport, signed for my car and drove off into the sunset. Yes, as easy as that!

This car is like the perfect girlfriend. Serious when she needs to be but ready to go out to have fun when you can. The experience at AutoNation in LV was exceptional except for one glitch that was quickly corrected. I could not be happier with the vehicle or the dealer. I liked the no nonsense transparent transaction. I don't mind paying a little more just to avoid the silliness of negotiating what amounts to 1 or 2% of the purchase price. I think being treated intelligently and with respect goes a long way. Everyone helped me get what I wanted and I don't begrudge them a profit.

I have a 2010 VW Eos I got not too long ago, I started hearing a strange noise coming from the transmission. I took it to a VW dealer in the NW part of town Findlay VW to be exact. They kept my car for several hours told me nothing was wrong with my car and charged me $186 for labor and time. I wasn't happy with that so I waited a few months and brought it to W Sahara Auto Nation VW for the same sound and a second opinion. Same thing, they had it for a few hours and also told me its the type of transmission that the sound was normal. Well I took my second opinion as an all good. Coming prepared to give up another $186 I was taken back that they didn't charge me a dime! Guess who won my trust, respect and future business. I even drove out of my way to pick up a bottle of coolant from them today. Thanks Auto Nation VW! Happy customer!

C. Moser worked with me for nearly six months before I finally pulled the trigger. The only reason I bought from a dealer 450 miles away from my home was that this guy really earned my business. He even picked me up at the airport when I came to get the car. My husband and I were on our way to California for a vacation at Disneyland, when the transmission on our Nissan Sentra broke down. After getting the mechanic's estimate, we determined it was better to buy a new car. We worked with both Robin and AJ, and they were excellent! They were friendly, polite and courteous, and made the car buying experience a whole lot less scary, especially during our stressful situation. We were not prepared to buy a new car, not having had the time to do any research, but Robin and AJ made us feel like we can really trust them! Instead of telling me there is nothing that could be done until monday. They took my car into the back and changed the fuel injectors and got me back to my nieces birthday party by six. and also washed my car. Being a British Serviceman it was very hard for me to get credit as I had no history in the USA. AutoNation VW advised me to get a SSN and assured me they would be able to provide me credit where Gaudin Ford had failed! A. a toll road transponder was left in the car I traded in, just a few hours later if was never found.B. the license plates were not removed and distroyed on my trade in, as I was " Assured " they Would be. When you buy a " Certified Used Volkswagen your supposed to get both sets of keys. Never Received the second set, and after arguing with the Sales Mgr I finally was given the Valet key Which magically appeared. Gee it must have programmed itself in his desk drawer.D. I also bought the extended 100,000 mile warrenty, but was given no paperwork. After dealing with The VW Customer Care people, the paperwork arrived 3 months later.E. Also bought a after market Rear view mirror with remote garage door opening from them. It was Installed incorrectly and it cost me another 50 bucks to have the problem corrected.See they have now changed their name, but I will never return.

As a first time car buyer, walked into VW to just look at the Jetta and the Passat. Was greeted warmly by Yoshwa Shields, and shown a 2013 dark grey Passat in the showroom. He was able to answer any and all my questions, and immediately I fell in love with this car. Not only was I informed of the 5 star safety rating, but the car had everything I wanted (bluetooth, navigation, sleek interior, leather seats, clean exterior), and I didn't feel like I was being pressured to buy. Took the car for a test drive, and my mind was made up. That specific dark grey Passat was discounted about $3000 that day; however, I wanted the Passat in white. I left the dealership to look at other cars but ended up returning back to VW. They checked my credit and to my joy, found the white Passat discounted to the price of the dark grey one. The rest of the day took a while with paperwork and logistics, but I left with my first brand new car and a positive relationship with Yoshwa. Happy VW camper right here :)

Estimate to do service was almost $4000 for timing belt, electrical sensors, and other misc. service. Findlay did the same list for $1400. They said my beetle couldn't be aligned without new strut bushings, but Findlay said they were fine and able to align. I don't like overpricing and lies.

I just recently purchased a Tiguan form this Dealership. I put in an inquiry for a new one and received a call from my wonderful sales rep Jared. I went in and test drove it and loved it. The evtire staff was very firendly and everyone was genuinely interested in helping me out and doing everything they could to help me out. After running the numbers with my husband I was told I could not have a new one. So I started used car shopping. One of my least favorite things. I went to another dealership and received many calls and emails form others, but the customer service, appearance of the dealership and staff, and just the energy was disappointing. So i left that dealership and went back to Desert VW. I called Jared on my way and he had the Tiguan I wanted up front waiting for me. It was perfect. I looked at it and was like, "I'm ready let's do this." It was around 6:30 PM and there were a lot of people in there. They gave me a great deal, and an awesome interest rate. I had to wait a while for the finance people, but like I said, they were extremely busy that day. I didnt mind waiting as I was not left alone and everyone was super friendly. When I did go in to handle the financing part of it. It was super easy and we were done in a short period of time. I had to go back to get some stuff finished up a couple of days later and got the certified warranty adn perma plate (inside and out) and everything has been a breeze. My perma plate installation was during a work day, so I dropped off my car, got a ride back to work from Jared, then was picked up from work when my car was done. Here at Desert they definitely go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. This was by far the most pleasant car buying experience so far.

He bought me the 2 door VW Golf in black with tinted windows, navigation, voice dialing, diesel, and seat warmers which is a must for me! I love this car so MUCH! I got a great deal on a used 2012 Passat. I wish they could've given me more for my trade, but they dropped the price of the car a bit to make up for some of the difference so the loss wasn't too bad :/ My salesman Jake Dadon was great, very friendly and helpful. The sales manager Jack was funny, friendly and down to earth and he put me at ease. The customer service is great, I've never bought a used car and had the dealer offer a free inspection of your vehicle after the purchase just to make sure they didn't miss anything before the car was put out for sale. I'm extremely happy that they were able to make it a certified used vehicle so I could get the extended warranty of 2 yrs/24K on top of the manufacturers 3 yrs/36K so I'm now covered for a long time. I love the way the car drives and it feels well built and solid. The 2 yrs free maintenance is also a huge plus that I've never heard of dealerships doing except on high end vehicles like BMW, Lexus etc... Desert VW has great sales people, competitive prices and above all they'll treat you right so you'll want to come back and buyanother car from them in the future

My fiance and I were in the market to buy both a new and our first car. We shopped around, but in the end we chose Volkswagen due to many different reasons - but mainly courtesy to the exceptional service offered by Desert VW and our salesman John Parsons. John took his time in showing us several different models of cars we were interested in and explained not only the differences between these models but also the different trims. Went it came to crunch time, the car we wanted wasn't available anywhere in Nevada and John and Desert VW made us a deal on a better trim model so we could be driving out of the dealership with a new car that day as well as finding us a better interest rate after fiddling a little with the contract. Each of these individuals were amazing to work with and made buying my 2012 Beetle a great experience. We had our first contact last November and didn't purchase then, but Erik statyed in touch and worked very hard to get me out of the lease on my previous vehicle, which I was extremely unhappy with. Not only have I recommended this dealership to friends, I have taken them there. I bought my EOS from them, and two weeks ago the car was totaled, due to a crash. I am an evil car buyer. It took me weeks to get the price I was willing to pay for the car I wanted. Desert never wavered in trying to help. I ended up buying my car there nearly two years ago. I can't say enough good things about their service department, the ease of car buying, all of it. I really have no interest in going to another dealership to buy another car. They dont know it yet, but I am going to buy another car from them this weekend. At 52 years of age, with 9 new car purchases under my belt, NO dealership is as easy to deal with as Desert. Purchased not one but two cars. Chis one of the managers was great to work with. Sales guy was good too. Finance guy was a joke. We waited almost an hour and a half maybe longer to sign the papers. Then we went in and they had all kinds of add on deals. I cancelled them all the next day. Then we went in for our oil change. Had an appointment and waited 2 hours. Worst customer service I have even delt with. I will not recommend this place to any of my friends not even sure I would tell my enemies to buy a car from this place. Stay away. I fact run from this place.

Ive recently purchased my first VW from Desert VW of Las Vegas and I couldn't be happier! The employees are more than friendly they feel like family! I have been working with Jen for almost a year now trying to find the perfect VW CC, when I first met her she was so easy going she didnt try to hustle me and most important she was HONEST! She told me what I was looking for just wasnt practical with my debt and budget. We stayed in touch via email, after doing my part she kept her word and continued to notify me when she thought something I would like came in; I appreciated this since it wasnt just an automated update telling me of every single VW CC that came on the lot! She knew exactly what I wanted and only notified me if the vehicle matched my wishes. We kept in touch until the perfect vehicle came along around 250 days later. I had some struggles making the final deal happen but it wasnt because of Jen or the dealership it was actually an insurance issue. I recommend this organization for its excellent staff Mario Aquirre, Farris Gunning and Stratton Pang for the patient attentiveness, creativity and follow-thru that was rendered over the course of time that it took the Amatos to make up their collective mind, particularly so, given that the new Jetta is my wifes car and she was reluctant to part with the Audi A6 that we'd purchased from Desert Volkswagen some time ago. Its been about two weeks now since we acquired the car and the verdict is a resounding thumbs up for the VW. The pedigree is familiar and the car moves out and handles very well. Love the tiptronic transmission. That it runs on regular and gets about 5MPG more is an added bonus.I could go on and on about the caliber of each aspect of the process, i.e., the face, the financing and the documentation but Ill keep it brief:Mario is anace; Supportive and understanding not pushy extremely polite and professional. PATIENT! Ill be referring him to everyone that I know that I can get to listen to re: the virtues of owning and driving a VW. Farris is extremely resourceful and professional, a good listener and great problem solver.Stratton is extremely personable, professional and agile; he took the sting out of what is usually a tedious process and actually extended the Desert Volkswagen experience from a practical perspective.Again thanks very much to Desert Volkswagen. I was looking for a rare car and I couldnt find one in good condition. I tried a lot of places and one person told me to try Desert Volkswagen. When I got there I told them I was looking for a R32. They sat with me and we did a search in there Desert auto group search. We found one and they had it transferred to Vegas. When it arrived I was so impressed with the condition, I knew I had to have this. It was no question I bought it and im am so glad I found Desert Volkswagen.

I own a 2009 VW Routan 4.0L SEL Premium with the Sachs/Novimat Self Leveling Suspension.The rear passenger side is leaking and I took it in to the Volkswagen dealership (Desert Volkswagen, W. Sahara, Las Vegas) to replace it under warranty.The service department's answer: Oil seepage around shocks is normal. This statement came after they inspected the Nivomat Self Leveling Suspension visually! They didn't even test it under load condition.I contacted a Volkswagen NA customer care advocate and didn't get support there either.Thanks Volkswagen -great support and warranty.04/26/2011 Update: I got contacted by David the GM at Desert VW and from there on everything went realy smoth.He set up an appointment with a VW technical qualtity engineer, himself and me on 04/26/2011.My problems with my Nivomat self leveling suspension (rear) are in the process off getting solved (parts need to get in before they can exchange them on my car).I learned somthing too: I should have talked to the manager instead of leaving frustrated with the service department's response or trying to get it solved with a VW NA customer care advocate. It looks to me that VW dealerships have it a bit harder to justify a replacement of a faulty part under warranty - that's something I didn't know coming from bimmers. I got under the impression that the service department ignored my problem under warranty.Thanks again David for contacting me, giving the chance to show the problem to the VW quality engineer (great guy btw) and find this solution.Based on the new experience and outcome I've adjusted my review rating

The Desert Volkswagen Service Manager was very friendly and helpful. After having a very bad experience with another Volkswagen dealer, my wife and I were pleased to discover that all dealers are not the same. Our car was fixed properly and we were not charged a penny. We will be loyal customers to Desert Volkswagen in the future.
