Bay Gulf Imports is truly a great dealership with lot's of awesome inventory to choose from and their entire staff are very professional and helpful throughout your entire car buying process. I found them online by their great content and imagery of all their beautiful inventory they have and that really helped me find what I wanted quicker. I called them and after that here I am driving my beautiful car. I am very grateful so thanks again Bay Gulf Imports! I was really taking care of overall from the start to the finish they even offered me an extended warranty for my vehicle. By far one of the best used car dealerships I’ve been to.......if your like me and always buying cars then this is the spot u want to come to because my first experience here was awesome Roger was my sale rep/manager and this man is all about business......but also makes u feel like family I was not sure if I was going to do a review but after the experience I had with them I had to I won’t get into any details but I will definitely come back for another car soon as my wife will need a new car GO SEE ROGER FOR YOUR NEXT VEHICLE!!!!!!!

They Sold my girl an explorer SUV and within 2 weeks the fuel system starting messing up. Took it to advanced and it threw 6 different codes with all the things wrong with it! They said it was a motor mount. It wasn’t! Smh! Multiple things wrong with this Explorer. they didn’t want to fix the problems wrong with it. And still don’t. Beware of this company! You will throw money away!

Needed a car and was a cash buyer. Contacted dealer about a car that they stil have listed three weeks later. Found another one and bought it.

I will keep this simple> Owner Liz Rude> Owner Liz Discourteous > Lack of knowledge of the finance system. I will NEVER do business nor will I refer this dealership out anywhere except the BBB. Some it up BUYER BEWARE you spend your MONEY!

I would never do business with these people again. They prey on people w/ bad credit. I will admit they did pull the wool over my eyes. I over paid for my car big time. 6mo later I went to BMW in Tampa & got a loan for half the interest rate

Overpriced inventory and they are sometimes rude on the phone. Worst thing about dealership is you don't get a receipt when you make a payment wtf!

I have dealt with a lot of car business people over the years, and I have to say that these guys really impressed me. Very genuine, kind and extremely patient. Would definitely recommend them to others.

I knew exactly what I wanted before coming to Bay Gulf Imports Inc. I searched for a car, with details that I was looking for. I found this Kia car on autotrader.com and it had good descriptions and photos. Also the price was reasonable. I drove all the way from Melbourne (FL) to Tampa (FL) to check this car out. Owen was very nice, patient, and friendly. He allowed me test drive comfortably. And then he answered my questions about a several things about the car. Even though I am deaf, he was patient and tried his best in communicating with me by speaking slowly and wrote down on paper whenever I didn't understand what he said. The negotiation was smooth, and we agreed on the price. I was happy with the price that I offered and he accepted. If anyone wants to buy a car, it's a good idea to go to Bay Gulf Imports Inc, and make sure to ask for Owen!!

I had a great experience with Owen. I am always skeptical when buying a car from a dealer, but Owen was extremely personable and professional with me. He also worked with me on price, term, and my payment and went above and beyond to ensure my car was to my satisfaction even after I purchased it. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family to see Owen again! Thank you!

Please see response to my original review written in October 2012. My situation has been completely turned around and my perception and experience with Bay Gulf has changed thanks to Liz and Cesar. I thought it was not only important to respond to my original negative review but to also give them new ratings based on how the issue was handled. Every time I call make a payment whoever the lady that answers the phone is so NASTY She has no manners acts like you are bothering her I hate calling and can't wait to save money get another car give them their car back so I never have to deal with her again she is RUDE ALL THE TIME BAD BUSINESS

Ratings changed on 6/13/13 due to successful resolutionContinuous lies. Sold me a car that had been wrecked before, wasnt on Carfax and was told that it had never been in accident. The AC evaporator was also bad, when I mentioned the AC didnt feel as cold, they told me, it was fine and that it was just because it was a hot day outside. I took car to dealership and found out all kinds of things. My engine blew becasue of an small oil leak that went undetected, Gulf Bay offered to have used engine put in and allow me to pay monthly. Car still had the leak even after the replacement engine and almost blew engine again. Had to buy a new car and pay for both cars. I stopped paying the side note for the engine due to the fact I couldnt pay for both cars and a repair and they repoed the car EVEN though I have never been even one day late on my car payment, which is deducted from my account automatically.They never even placed a collection call to me about the side note and took it upon themselves to consider the side note a part of my original loan. I am in contact with lawyers now.

MY ADVICE DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!!! Just a warning to anyone looking to purchase a used car from this dealership. We purchased a vehicle on a payment plan. We have made every payment and recently paid off the vehicle. Guess what they will not send us the TITLE? Their excuse is it is in the mail. They never believed me when I said that to them about my payment. All I can say is unbelievable and horrible business, have reported Bay Gulf Imports to the BBB, Attorney General and DVM.

These guys are scum rip off artist who prey on those with credit issues or foreclosure issues. Immediately the price of the car went up 2K when my credit wasn't par. even after offering 6k cash down. On top of this, the car was mis-advertised with options not on the vehicle not to mention no detailing of the vehicle and was handed the keys to a completely empty gas tank.Money grubbing fake salesmen like Owen make me think of words like smarmy snakes, lower to the ground than dirt.Any other dealer would be better than buying from this guy!!!!
