I can't recommend this dealership enough. From the car buying process 4 years ago to routine service calls, I have been impressed every time. I recently returned from a summer up north to a car with a dead battery. AAA got it started but recommended a longer charging. I called and talked to Star in the service dept. who told me to bring it right in. I dropped it off and about 2 hours later, the battery was fully charged, the car was washed and vacuumed...all at no charge! She even gave me a bottle of water for the trip home. Needless to say, she exceeded all my expectations! I recommend this dealer to all my friends!

I purchased my vehicle at Bert Smith Subaru recently; it was an excellent experience. I worked with Certified Sales Consultant Jack Crenshaw. Jack was incredibly helpful he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and Subaru overall, and very patient with my questions (and I had a lot of questions.) I visited the dealership on four different days while I was making my decision and didnt feel pushed it was always a pleasant, welcoming experience that made me feel comfortable with the dealership. Jack also did a great job introducing me to the features of the vehicle to be sure I knew how it all worked before I drove off the lot, and has followed up since to check on how things are going with the vehicle. Once it came to the final business and contract, Business Manager Bill Gunnett was very helpful with my questions and made sure to explain everything so I could make informed decisions. The building and lot were bright, airy, and clean, and the dealership is clearly customer-oriented. I feel that everyone there works together as a team, which I find refreshing. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Bert Smith Subaru and working with Jack Crenshaw to do so. Many thanks!

The car I fell in love with was a little beyond my reach financially but Mark DeHaven and Cory (general manager) worked very hard for me. As a disabled veteran on a fixed income they not only found me a car that met all my requirements but worked even harder to secure financing that fit my budget and I drove away driving a car im excited to get in everyday. This car (Eos) was so much safer than my camry that my insurance actually decreased. The only reason the Buying Process got 4 stars is that it took so long to complete the paperwork. Subaru has an extensive checklist that they require of their dealers and it literally took almost 3 hours to work through all the paperwork. But our salesman, Tony Kritikos and his manager Charles and the staff at Bert Smith were friendly, accommodating, patient, and helpful. It was a long but enjoyable experience. So far we love our new Subaru Outback. Thanks, Tony!

I had done research online and at other dealers before I found the car I wanted at this dealership. I went into the dealership on Friday 1/15/16 and met Mike Brown. He was the most easy-going car salesman I have ever met. We looked at the car and he explained everything it contained. We went on a test drive which felt like catching up with an old friend. I never felt pressured with Mike to make a decision, and didn't need to ask questions since he had provided all the details as we went! When we got back to the dealership, we went inside to Mike's office where they provided a price which was better than any other offer I had seen to that point. I told Mike that I needed my fiancee to approve everything and we would be back the following day. At that point he brought Charlie, the sales manager, over to meet me. Charlie was extremely nice and asked about my engagement and again, chatted like friends. Saturday, 1/16/16, I brought my Fiancee to give the approval. Mike gave us the keys to the car and told us to take our time looking it over and he would come out a few minutes later. This was a perfect way for us to talk without feeling like we needed to hold back our thoughts. Mike came out after a few minutes and asked if my Fiancee wanted to take a test drive which she did. Mike remembered little details about our conversation the day before which showed we weren't another sale, he actually cared about us as people. We returned to the dealership, and Mike brought us in to talk finances. The agreed upon price from the previous night was still on the table, and they even knocked money off so we could hit our budget. Charlie came over again to see how we were doing, and brought up points from the previous day's conversation. Finally we met Bill, their finance manager, who was very nice and easy to work with. He explained everything in vivid detail, yet worked quickly as we were on a tight schedule and were already running late. He worked hard to get us a good APR which we were comfortable with and got us the best warranty plan that met our needs. Mike was waiting for us when we were done with Bill to congratulate us and give us the keys. Overall, this was the best car-buying experience I could possible imagine!

I went to look at a used Ford Edge. My Salesman Jack was very nice and respectful. I test drove the edge twice and could not get comfortable. He found a car On the VW lot in the same parking lot. I love my car and this was the easiest car buying ever! I purchased my car on Dec 31st. I would go back to buy another car in a minute. There is no pressure and Everybody wa every accommodating. I would recommend seeing Jack if you need a car.

Buying a new car is my next to least favorite thing to do, ranking almost even with buying a bathing suit., but my sales associate, Jack Crenshaw was excellent to work with. He was very knowledgeable about all the Subaru models, he was attentive without being pushy, and he was truly understanding about working with me and my budget. I won't need to buy another car for several years, but when I am in the market again I hope Jack is there to help me. Kudos to Bert Smith Subaru for having Jack as a sales associate!

I was looking to buy a new car and went to this dealership just to look. A man by the name of tony came and greeted us. He was very honest and kind. He knew pretty much everything about the crosstrek and Subaru itself. The sales manager was extremely fair on the amount they gave me for my trade in and my final car price. I drove out of there as a first time Subaru owner and would recommend this dealer and tony to everyone.

I came back from a 5000-mile trip in my 2011 Outback with the conviction that I really, really wanted the safety features that are options in later models. I went to the Subaru website and "made" an Outback with the options I wanted, including the color. I took the printout of that car to Bert Smith Subaru. Since there were none of that specific model and accessories available "in all the East coast," the salesman was happy to order the car to be built at the factory. It took about two months but when it came it is not the 2015 model I had ordered but a 2016 with additional safety features. The price was slightly greater but I was quite happy.

Bought a 2015 Subaru Forester on Monday July 27th. We had stopped in on Saturday afternoon and got a lot of our questions answered and even went on a test drive with no pressure to buy...which was so awesome. We continued shopping other dealers and test driving other SUVs. We bought the SUV on Monday afternoon and the Salesman went through all of the features with us and all in all a very pleasant no pressure experience. We like to vacation in North Carolina and North GA so the AWD will be great.

The entire staff is very nice, warm, funny, knowledgeable and inviting. There was no pressure to buy at all. The dealership actually matched a price from another dealership, even though it was lower than their price. This was a great car-buying experience. They walk you through all the vehicle features in detail and help you personalize your vehicle before you drive off the lot. You can call any time with any questions or concerns. We will continue to be customers here as long as we are in the Tampa area.

This is the 8th car that I have purchased at Bert Smith (3 New VW's, 1 Used Mercedes, 1 Used Acura and 3 New Subaru's. I continue to return to Bert Smith due to the "great prices" and wonderful sales staff in both the used and new car departments. I purchased the Subaru Forester on Monday to replace my son's Audi A4. I got a good price for the trade-in and a less than invoice price on the Forester. The whole process was very simple with the paperwork completed in minimal time. The usual "opportunity" was afforded to buy an extended warranty, etc, but there was absolutely no pressure to purchase any of the "add-ons". The salesmen are also helpful and are very willing to show you the actual dealer "invoice" without asking.....NO PRESSURE OR DEADLINES.......Great Dealership with no FLIM-FLAMS......

I recently bought a 2015 Subaru Forester from Charles the Sales Manager. I hate buying cars worse than visits to the dentist! I find the process usually painful. My brand new car that I purchased from another dealership was stolen after owning it for one week! The experience was traumatic and I spent an entire MONTH going from dealership to dealership driving different cars and dealing with LOTS of car salesmen. Bert Smith Subaru was refreshing to say the least! From the moment I spoke with Charles on the phone the process was seamless. No high pressure sales tactics, no 'creative' math and more importantly no inflated 'sales' prices! I told them what I could afford and I was told a price and that is what I paid... it never varied. For the first time in my lifetime I can honestly say I ENJOYED the car buying process! Thank you Charles and my sister will be in town at the end of the month...we will be in to hopefully get her a car as well. Thank you for making me feel like 'family'.

We bought a new Outback last Friday and it was one the least pressurized buying experiences I have had. Mike Brown, our saleman, was laid back, straight-shooting and extremely patient and accomodating. We had no pressure to buy - not like when we went to a local Honda dealer to look at the CR-V. The Outback seems like a better built, more comfortable car for essentially the same price. We were pre-approved by our bank but got 1/2% better interest rate through Subaru. They will be the first place we go when we look to replace our other car in a year to two! They were in the process of expanding their dealership is the only reason we gave the facilities a lower score - the sales area, while small, was neat and clean.

I just bought a 2015 Subaru Forester, and the entire experience was great. This is a no-nonsense dealer, since it was the end of the year, their offer was the lowest they could do, no haggling necessary. The dealer also took us to the exact car we needed in our price range and didn't try to up sell. The seller was knowledgeable, as was the financer that explained all of our options thoroughly. This is the first time I've bought a brand new vehicle, and I don't think I could have had a better experience.

I went in the Bert Smith Subaru for the first time a little over six months ago. At that time I did not purchase anything, however I did provide one of the salesmen, Nagy Hanna, with my email and phone number. And I explained to him exactly what I was looking for. He never pressured or hassled me in any way. He did call me recently to tell me he had what I wanted, so I went in and wound up purchasing a 2014 Subaru Outback that was EXACTLY what I wanted! Since then I feel like I have become part of a family. Nagy and New Car Manager, Jarrad really made the buying experience a lot of fun and stress free. They even set up my blue tooth for me. : ) I LOVE my Subaru and also love having peace of mind knowing I was treated fairly and that my vehicle and I will be well taken care of for many happy miles!

I bought a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek and immediately noticed my brakes went almost to the floor and I had to pump them to get half a brake pedal. I took it back to Bert Smith and it was checked out by the manager and he agreed the brakes were too low and took me to the service dept. Service Dept. said the brakes are fine, just have to get used to "European" brakes. Wrong answer sir, the brakes need attention. I was sent on my way, a few weeks later I returned with the same brake problem fearing the brakes might just go to the floor. This time the service dept. looked at the car and said "nothing showed up on the computer" and they were not going to "charge me" for the service call and refused to give me a receipt for this visit. The brakes continue to be dangerously low and I will take it in to Bert Smith Service dept. next week when I return home. I have been on vacation but did not trust my NEW car for the trip and used a friend's car. This is a dangerous situation being ignored by the Service Dept..

We recently purchased a 2011 Subaru Legacy to replaced the Subaru that was totaled in an accident my wife had two months earlier. Our son has owned a Subaru for the past 5-6 years & had recommends them to his friends & my husband & I. We have never owned or driven a Subaru but decided to consider it when we were ready to look for a new car. We went to the Bert Smith Dealership about a week ago to look at different models & get information on each planning to buy a new car sometime within the next year. We read the model booklets & made notes on our questions. A week later we stopped in to test drive the 2 models that we liked best. The test drives decided which one we liked best & we asked more questions. We liked the answers & Bert Smith had a car with the features (plus a number more) that we were looking for, in a car that we liked. We bought it & the car came home with us that day. I LOVE it but still have a lot to learn about using many of it's features. We have called back to the dealership several times for clarification of some things that we did not understand in the manual. They have been very helpful & patient with us. Since we had been to the dealership several times we dealt with whoever was there & not busy helping other clients (James, Nagy or Jarrad). They all helped by answering questions & explaining how to use many of the features on the car in a VERY relaxed way. It's the easiest car buying experience that we have ever had with no pressure, hageling or disappointment. I have already recommended the Bert Smith Dealership to several friends & will continue to do so.

I bought a 2014 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited this week. Jared, the sales manager, and Tony, in sales, both were gentlemen and not at all pushy. They were very pleasant to work with and I expect to go back to Bert Smith when I buy another Subaru. I suggest going to Jared first and either tell him you want to work with Tony or another low key honest sales person like Tony. It is really great to go to a new car dealer and buy a car at a great price without having a headache when you leave. The repair department has done a good job and has been helpful to me as well. They have done the maintenance on my 2003 Subaru Outback for the past 3 years. I did like it better when Subaru had their own repair facility. Now it seems somewhat crowded.

Bert Smith Subaru is truly a pleasure to do business with. The entire staff is extremely courteous, professional, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our salesman, Thomas Garcia, and the sales manager, Jarrad Sullivan, were exceptionally helpful before, during, and AFTER purchase.They enjoyed showing the vehicles and made the process of buying/leasing a simple and delightful experience. When we needed help understanding the navigation system after purchase they were very generous with their time and expertise. It is rare to find this combination of competence and courtesy. We will keep our business at Bert Smith!

i just bought a 2014 subaru impreza from bert smith subaru. i looked at other cars, but the consumer reports highly rated subaru and they are right to do so!! great car and i got great service from nagy hanna-he made the buying process very easy!!

I recently purchased a used Subaru Baja from Bert Smith Subaru. I first contacted the dealership by telephone and received prompt answers to my questions from Ed Maquire, Internet Sales Manager. When I arrived at the dealership Ed remembered talking to me and was very helpful in showing me the car and taking my husband and I on a test drive. He and the rest of the staff worked with us to make a great deal on the car. As it was late in the day I came back the next day to sign all paperwork. I was greeted by several of the Bert Smith staff who remembered me from the day before. All of my questions and concerns regarding the car were answered or taken care of quickly.
