I scheduled service on my 2010 Honda Ridgeline at Betten Honda due to the service light on my dash showing a code of B13. I arrived at my 7:00 am scheduled time and was greeted by Julie Kitchen. She was very friendly and courteous and after a few minutes of getting the paperwork done and signed she directed me to the waiting area. After a short time Julie came to me to me and explained that upon doing the truck inspection they found some areas of concern. I gave my approval to fix the areas of concern and was happy they found them as I probably wouldn't have thought to have them check those things on my own. While I spent more time getting my truck serviced than I originally thought I am completely happy with the service I received at Betten Honda and will be back again.

I don't usually think of the dealership for new tires, but they had a great price on the tires I needed. My vehicle uses an odd size and they had them for me. Had them in a couple of days. Their price was still competitive. They did an alignment as well and that price was also very competitive.

Went in for routine oil change. Ended up needing an alignment and some light fixes. I had my 3 young kids with me and after a while they were getting a little restless. Julie was awesome. She showed them around, showed them cars, and tires, gave them some bracelets. Kept me updated on the timing and offered me coupon discounts that I didn't bring with me. Julie made what could have been a long afternoon very nice. She went above and beyond!!! Thank you. I'll be back.

Brought my Accord in for routine oil change, and Adam was sincere and specific with his questions. My time spent waiting was only about 45 minutes, and that was after the oil change was done and Adam had suggested the cabin air filter should be replaced. The free car wash is great. It is obvious that the Customer is first at your business.

I came in for an oil change, check up and free car wash. Len had warned me last time that I might be needing new rear brake work done on my next visit, so I was prepared. Casey did a great job, informed me of the work needed and the price, checked the slow leak in one tire and had that patched as well. I wasn't able to get the usual free car wash due to painting being done in that area, but Casey explained that to me when I first came in. Everything was done in a timely way, and I enjoyed the coffee, water and cookies in the waiting area.

My wife and I enjoyed the entire acquisition process at Betten Honda. The dealership is a very nice place and has a good selection. Walking around the place, looking at cars, seeing and meeting the people who work there, it felt right to be there. The sales person (Jordon) was knowledgeable, friendly and straight forward. His purpose was simply helping us to find the right vehicle for us. Leslie made the paperwork easy to understand and helped us make the best choices for us. She and the other staff, Tim Bush, Joe Grimm, & Adam Hopma, were all very pleasant, courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. The professionalism of the entire staff was evident. I don't know the names of the lot persons or the person who prepared the Honda Civic for delivery, but they also did an excellent job executing their responsibilities. This is the third vehicle I have purchased from this dealership; first under Tom Miller, then Betten Honda. I prefer Betten. I did get the distinct impression that being a Betten Honda customer provided value in and of itself. Love my ten year extended warranty. I have been working with Mike Culleton for the past 6 years, he has never steered me wrong and has become a good friend. We are a family of Honda's with an average ownership period of 2 years. Our actual time at the dealership was minimal, just long enough to sign the papers. The only real complaint I would have is that the interaction between used cars and new cars was a little rough. Meaning the appraisal process of our old vehicles and waiting for the response to get to Mike could have been more efficient. It seems like a waste of the salespersons time to move the vehicles between lots plus juggle the customers, maybe would be more efficient to have lower paid "runners" so the sales people can focus on the customers and closing the deals. The dealership was very busy but well handled. We like Mike's no nonsense style, just the facts - no xxxxxxxx, straightforward and honest which I very much appreciate.If you need anything further - please let me knowRob George231-727-7412

After having gone to several other local car dealerships, my husband and I decided to purchase a used vehicle from Betten Honda in Muskegon. This was the best decision that we could have made when it came to purchasing our vehicle. The customer service was OUTSTANDING and we truly felt as if the employee (Brett Adkins) that we worked with was not just trying to sell us a random vehicle. He listened to what our needs were and helped us make the best decision based on those needs. Brett made sure that what few problems there were with the car (ex:a handle that had a tendency to stick on our tailgate)were fixed at no cost to us before we picked our vehicle up. I thought that there was a slight pull in the vehicle when we test drove it and Brett had the mechanics check it and provided us a copy of the mechanics report- just to give us peace of mind that the vehicle was safe and that it was actually the condition of the road that we had driven the car on. Brett was able to help us find the best financing possible (he actually got us a better rate than what our own credit union could offer us)and was also able to offer us top dollar for our 2 trade ins that we had. Not only do the vehicles on this lot look good- customers can be assured that all vehicles have been checked/tested and approved for re-sale...there isn't any reason to worry about the car that you are driving off of the lot. Without a doubt, Betten Honda of Muskegon has earned the business of my husband and I and we will definitely do business again with them in the near future. Shane and the rest of the staff went out of their way to complete the deal. He took the time to bring in the right people for what I was concerned about and I left with a car that I'm highly satisfied with. I was a single female shopping by myself. I met with Shane Watts who was very patient in working with me to make my decision between a used or new Honda CR-V. I spent some time with Brett Adkins on the phone going over my different options, met with him the next night at the dealership getting the paperwork done, scheduled an appointment for adding an option the following day, and picked up my brand new Honda that night. All details were taken care of efficiently by Brett, with plates and insurance transferred needing only a confirmation call to my insurance company. I would like to take a minute to recommend Scott Hamilton at Betten Honda in Muskegon. I am a single working mother with no car knowledge whatsoever. I was dreading car shopping but was so relieved to find a dealership that does not pressure or patronize. All of my questions (and those of the posse I brought with me)were answered and I felt like I was heard. Scott was helpful and well informed without being pushy. I don't usually take the time to write customer reviews like I should but I felt compelled to share my experience for the benefit of any other fear-struck car shopper.

We gave our sales associate Scott Hamilton a list of different styles and price ranges we were interested in. He was very thorough and after test driving numerous vehicles over a period of time, he and Adam Hopma found an excellent price and interest rate. Scott went above and beyond anything we asked. I would recommend him with full confidence. An all around great experience.

I was amazed at how friendly and courteous all of these gentlemen were. I never felt like I was under any pressure. They worked together as a team .... which amazed me. Today this is rare. I was relaxed and knew they were working to get me a good deal. I had looked far and wide for a good price and they gave me the best. Shane Watts was an extremely helpful and efficient salesman. He wasn't like anyother salesman just trying to make a quick commission. Him and Adam Hopma took very good care of us, working very hard to get us not only a great deal on my 2008 Honda, but also the best insurance as well. I would absolutely reccommend their dealership to anyone but will also be going back there shortly to buy a truck.

I was shopping for a afforadable/dependable car and was less than impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of this sales person and his manager. The payments I was offered were inflated by at least $25 per month and when I questioned it, I was made to feel like I was stupid. Needless to say I won't be purchsing from this dealership.

Scott and the rest of the staff at Honda was wonderful when it came to meeting my needs for a vehicle. I test drove a Honda CRV and fell in love with it but did not want the color they had on site. Scott along with his manager did everything possible to find one in a color I did like. When they could not find another one with a different color they made it possible for us to lease a 2012.

Shane was friendly but not pushy, high pressure. We really appreciated that. He answered questions appropriately and quickly.He got us a better trade-in value than we expected. He let us drive the car for 2 days while getting our finances arranged. Shane met us at 630 pm on a Friday, after work for us, even though the dealer was closed to seal the deal. He had me come back in on Monday to have the car cleaned and detailed, introduced me to Len in Service.Made the whole buying experience painless. Thank you Shane!

Working with Brett was a pleasure. he was helpful even though he wasn't the initial contact for the sale. During negotiations he settled a seeming impasse in our favor! and he even contacted the previous owner and obtained service records and a spare key!we now have a quality vehicle and stayed within our budget. the paperwork process went smoothly and quickly - which was helpful when you have a tired 2yr old ready for a nap!Overall the experience was great. when it comes time to buy again working with Brett will be our first choice.

I was in for recalls and inspection. The recalls were taken care of quickly and with no charge. There were a number of problems found - most should have been checked or brought to the attention of the service department by me; however, I was not aware of the Required Maintenance. Len gave me the Required Maintenance form so that I could follow through with upkeep. Other repairs were for tie rod boots and ball joint boots. The repairs were done within two hours time and when I drove out I felt as though I had a new car again. They also washed the CRV for me !!My experience began when I talked to Len regarding recalls. He made an appointment at my convenience. He is very personable and very thorough in his explanations of the work that needed to be done. It was one of the best experiences I have had with service of any kind for my vehicle. I'd give Len an A+ for his assistance.

Howie our sales agent treated us with patience and respect. He was very approachable and extremely helpful and maintained excellent communications with us. From the moment I contacted Betten Honda in Muskegon, Patrick K, gave me the Exceptional Experience. I work at Spectrum Health and we strive for giving our customers that type of experience so I look for that same type of experience when I work with other companies. He gave me the most agressive quote, helped to sell our car on Craig's list to see if we could get a higher price, and got the car for me sooner than expected. He was never rushed when going over all the features on the CRV when it came in and was always professional and positive attitude.
