This is my second BMW lease working with Eric Shuster at BMW of Manhattan. I don't really view it as sales/client relationship but more as a friendship with someone who is very knowledgeable about BMWs as he has really made an effort to get to know me and what I'm looking for in an automobile and he does his best to connect my needs with the best option for me. Never feel "sold" on something. It's always there is this option that may suit you. And if I I don't think so we move on. Ultimately i have ended up with the perfect car for my family with the performance that I can appreciate. It was probably by far the best car buying and follow upThat we have ever had. Both Mike Kelly and ShaniFernando exceeded all expectations. This 528xi is our fifth BMW and by far the best.We started with a 1600 then a 2002 then a 1978530i all were terrific. Then we got X5 with a smallunderpowered engine when it first came out.. The x5Was a disappointment. We had not had a BMW untilmy partner recommended Mike Kelly and we werepleasantly hooked again. The car is wonderful andthe sales force with genius instruction coupledwith this new revitalized dealership has been a marvelous experience.

Had a encore appointment as well as installation of my license plates. Pretty ordinary visit except service was anything but ordinary...it was extraordinary. They installed a license plate bracket that I purchased that wouldn't obscure the front end of the X5M. Then Louis Cortes, my encore genius, offered to drop me off at my next destination (I was going to call an Uber) which turned out to be in a new 7 series. From beginning to end, the service was efficient and thoughtful.

I had been looking only at other luxury makers when I passed by the BMW Manhattan showroom and thought I'd stop in to check out what they had. I was an Audi man but Peter Wohl changed my mind. He is extremely knowledgeable, knew everything about the BMW SUV lineup and made me feel very comfortable. He was a no BS representative to work with, I highly recommend him. One of the best if not the best dealership in th tri state area. Sales and technicians are very professional and go out of their way to point out issues in the future that most dealers just prefer to avoid for fear of losing business. They are active in sponsoring lime rock events for BMW and their service check in and pick up runs like a Swiss train including shuttle service to time warner if needed.

I have gotten 2 cars from ERIC SHUSTER at BMW of Manhattan and both times he destroyed the prices and quotes I was given by any other BMW Dealership.Everyone thinks that Manhattan dealerships will rip you off and charge crazy amounts because they are located in Manhattan and Manhattan is known for $$$$$, but this is the FALSE. BMW of Manhattan has the best prices and Eric doesn't waste your time with bs and negotiations. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, like I did, and listen to my advice. GO TO MANHATTAN BMW and than try to shop their deals and prices around. You will see that they destroy every other dealership.THANK YOU ERIC, you are the best!!!!!ASK FOR ERIC too. First time visiting this dealership and was simply picking up a car we had leased through an individual that was not present at the time. Even though the gentlemen that were helping us were not making a commission they treated us like royalty. Specifically the "Product Genius" Emil Goldman took a good 30 minutes and went through every aspects of the car's technology, which is ridiculously impressive. We leased a similar BMW last time and no one ever took the time to show us all the functions in this car. Emil knows more about these cars than anyone I have met. We highly recommend Tom Twomey as our salesman. He was patient, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Our vehicle arrived sooner than we expected and thus he "underpromised and overdelivered", a good quality in sales! While we experienced an issue early on with our BMW X3-35i, which was no fault of his, of course, he helped us navigate through the problems and was attentive when we brought the car in for service. In addition, a shout out to Louis Cortes, who is an absolutely amazing "BMW genius"--he spent a couple of hours with us explaining the complicated BMW Nav system and all the other aspects of the car's "smart" system. He was so nice and patient and incredibly well versed in the product. Even Matthew in the "store" was a delight to deal with. Nothing but positives for the BMW employees. It remains to be seen how our X3 will perform going forward but we have our fingers crossed that we had an unusual "glitch".

Was in the market for a 2015 320XI new, if possible? Mr. Evron Tonge was personally recommended to me by my best friend's husband who most recently had dealt with him for a lease deal. Evron was very polite and personable and asked me all the right questions to ensure my needs were met; and most importantly he did not push me to consider the more advanced 3 series vehicles after I clearly conveyed I really wanted the 320 model. This relationship was slightly more complex as I relocated to Cincinnati-Ohio and it required extra coordination on Evron's part such as what was required for me to obtain title and plates in Ohio etc. Evron communicated all steps along the way and stayed connected which made this long distance purchase comfortable and worth the effort. Evron represents BMW quite well and I would recommend him to my family and friends without second thought.

I recently purchased a new 2016 7 series from the dealership and I have to say from start to finish the service was exceptional. My salesman, Peter Wohl, was responsive to my needs, patiently guiding me through the purchase process including selecting the options that were right for me (helped by the handy web tool--build your own---that BMW provides). He also came up with a price that offered exceptional value for the money. Then, on delivery, Louis Cortes, a lead "Genius" led me through how all the new features worked. Recognizing there was a lot to learn (including the very cool autonomous steering feature, self parking and hand gestures), he even arranged for a follow-up "Encore" appointment where he came out to my garage in Manhattan, after about a month of use, and cleared up the remaining questions I had. He also gave me his email for any future questions. All in all, I could not have asked for a better experience!

I was interested in a model that is not very popular - a 3 series Wagon. I had visited a few dealer lots and almost no one had them. I was searching online on a dealer-by-dealer basis. (suggestion to BMWusa.com expand the zip code parameters on the dealer inventory search!) I saw that BMW Manhattan had one in a color I liked but so did a dealer out on Long Island. I called and was given to Eric Shuster. I talked and he listened. When I was done explaining what I wanted from this new car and said I only had about 15 minutes to come in and see it, he said that he usually left before I could get there, but he would stay and set things up so I could see it in that window - Available and Respectful. After that visit we exchanged a lot of emails, because that's the only way I can communicate during working hours. We went over the options and he related his explanations to what I had said I wanted from the new car. He searched far and wide and it turned out the one he had was my best option. When the appraisal for my trade-in came in below what he thought I'd get, he fought for better - Insightful & Diligent. Finally when I was about to do my best, "I've done my research and this is what I should pay for the car..." He said the price he was going to sell it to me for and he was already below what I wanted to pay - Surprising!

Terrible pricing for our leased car and awful service department. I have never dealt with a dealership that was less accomodating, particularly for a car with a sticker price of around 100K. This is a private dealership and not part of BMW of North America, which I thougth didnt make a differnce. Apparently it does! The problem is not with the car, it's with BMW of Manhattan. If we get another BMW it will be from another dealership. I should have known better when our dealer raised the price of the car after my initial negotiation by 5K. He also did not tell me that I needed special tire insurance, something that was part of the service agreement with our Mercedes. I have had to pay out-of-pocket (so far) for six (6) run flat tires. In addition, I had to wait a month to get the car serviced, when all it needed was some detailing to remove a scratch. It was then kept for a week. Recently the car was recalled. The person who notified me was not able to explain to me why the car was being recalled, though. I waited two weeks for the car to be picked up and repaired after I was notified. To make matters worse they never returned the car to our garage - even though we were told that repair was complete and the car had been returned. All I can say is never again! However, I did take advantage of an offer and went to the BMW driving school. The folks running the program were terrific and knew everything about my car, which is allot of fun to drive! They agreed that BMW of Mahnattan is a terrible dealership and recommended several other dealerships in the Tri-State area, next time around.

I have to say that I was a bit intimidated going into this BMW dealership. I thought I was just going to deal with obnoxious and snooty sales people and boy was I wrong! I have never felt so welcome and so well taken care off in any car dealership. I could stay in their showroom all day just looking at cars. Peter was very entertaining and very comfortable to work with. I was never pressured to get anything that I did not want in the car. In fact, he helped me narrow down what's available and what's best bang for my buck. Then in less than a week's time, I got my car! Quick and easy. Kamila (Genius) was great as well. I just leased a new car from BMW of Manhattan. From beginning to end the experience could not have been more delightful and efficient. We were comparing a number of different manufacturers including Audi, Lexus and Mercedes. Our experience with the salespeople at those three locations was about the same with Audi by far the worst, followed up the ladder by Lexus and Mercedes. . However, it was Mike Kelly at BMW who was completely different. There was no hard or any other kind of sell. Instead he was low key and straightforward. Gave his views on what options were desirable or not for what we described. He was a pleasure to work with. Today, when I picked up the car, Louis Cortes was the "BMW Genius" who took me thorugh all the features. I am something of an idiot when it comes to technology and Louis was organized, clear and patient. He clearly wanted me to understand and enjoy the car. I could not have asked for a better teacher.

I purchased a 2014 340ix from BMW of Manhattan. Geoffry Daou was a consummate professional - congenial, accessible, and accommodating. I wasn't sure about the model I wanted, but after a detailed conversation about my past vehicles and current needs, he helped me narrow my choices very quickly. Louis Cortes also pitched in with some technical data. Mr. Daou located my dream vehicle at another BMW dealership and had it delivered and prepped for sale within a few days. Note well that this occurred at the height of the holiday season, between Christmas and New Years. Putting the deal together required his time and persistent concentration. Very impressive!Kamila Rassbeharry was the BMW Genius assigned to teach us the ropes. My wife is very low tech, but Kamila remained patient and caring at all times. She is a jewel and credit to the dealership!

My process of looking at cars was ending with the deciding factor between Mercedes GL E or the BMW X5. After visiting both Manhattan dealerships it was a no-brainer. The exceptionally gracious reception I received when pulling my car in to park to having Louis the BMW genius show me all the cars to finally Evron who was just the opposite of what you expect from a car dealer. after meeting Evron again with my wife on the second visit I didn't even bother going over to Mercedes purely based on the exceptional kindness and good feeling I got at the BMW dealership .!

Not sure how dealers are assigned to customers, but was so glad Brandon ended up being my dealer. As a woman walking into a luxury vehicle showroom, you are not always taken seriously. That was certainly not the case here. I came in having done my homework across multiple vehicle brands and it was remarkable to see the difference in service I got depending on the showroom.Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and helpful on all decisions I needed to make regarding the vehicle. I originally went in thinking I would look at the X3. I appreciated that he simply offered the answers to questions allowing me to make choices and finding answers/solutions along the way versus trying to sway me in a particular direction.The true testament to Brandon, however, may be the friend who joined me for the second visit when I made the purchase. My friend is a longtime BMW fan/loyalist. He's taken European delivery of at least one vehicle, currently drives an X3 and is on maybe his 4th or 5th BMW motorcycle as well. That friend has purchased his past vehicles at this same dealership. But after joining Brandon and me for the test drive and also being there for all the final decision making, he has decided that he will call Brandon the next time over his usual dealer. It was also very fortunate for me that the first person I met upon entering the showroom was Genius Emile Goldman. Turns out he is an avid cyclist--as am I. My cycling (mountain biking in particular) was what drove me to get a car. Emile understood exactly my needs in terms of getting a variety of bikes in a car, sizes, capacity, etc. Louis Cortes did my Genius session before I drove away with my new car and he was fantastic! As a new car owner and general gear geek, he was incredibly patient and thoughtful about every detailed question I had. All in all it was an amazing experience. Sooooo much better than the other showrooms I visited in the same area. Granted I was most leaning towards a BMW, but that everyone took me seriously from the moment I stepped in the front door was really what helped push this through. I am the thrilled new driver of the stunning new 2016 X1 as a result!

This is my third BMW. A 535, an S1000RR and now my new 435. Most recently, I worked with Eric Shuster of BMW Manahattan. I priced out the car at a few dealers in the region. As years past I decided to upgrade to another vehicle and lord and behold he was now selling cars. To my dismay I had to leave my client adviser and give him a try. I knew making that move would be best because I am never WRONG. Mr. Tonge was just as professional as the 1st day I met him in fact he remembered me he treated me with dignity and the BMW excellence I expected, I only hope this review finds him and the upper management team that supports him. I would suggest that Mr. Tonge wears 2 hats in the BMW family because he is best at both.... I would say to anyone out there needing or WANTING a BMW try BMW of Manhattan and ask for Mr. Tonge you won't be disappointed. This was the most painless process to lease a car! Tom was unbelievably fast, to the point and knowledgeable. We had been traumatized by a previous experience at a nissan dealership which took two days to lease a car. They quoted a different price and then raised the monthly lease amount when we were close to being done. It was horrible. The experience at BMW was completely the opposite. We could not believe it took only three hours for the whole process and the numbers that we were quoted were actually reliable. Looking forward to leasing from them again when this term is over!!!

After a bumpy start I was able to get the car I wanted. It began bumpy because, frankly, my early contacts with employees here made me feel like they wouldn't work with me until I walked in and sat with them despite my calling and emailing from the west coast (where I was traveling that week). On my visit to potentially make a purchase I was kept waiting for nearly 40 minutes for another representative with whom I'd made an appointment. I decided finally to tell the receptionist that I'd simply work with the next rep who was free and fortunately for me that turned out to be Brandon Simon. Brandon was exceedingly polite, knowledgable and worked hard with me to find the car I was looking for. The car we bid on was at another dealership and Brandon was excellent at keeping me appraised of the process until we confirmed the buy. Great communication skills. A week later when we arrived for the close and pickup Brandon again was polite, thoughtful, thorough and made this an excellent experience. He was a pleasure to work with and took all the time we needed to carefully go through the car and the details of completing the purchase and registration. If I was just rating Brando I'd go beyond 5 stars but because of the rocky start (which I would rate 2 stars at best) I'm rating my overall experience as 4 stars. That goes the same for my additional ratings below.

Our experience was exceptional as I felt that Tom Twomey, the salesperson, and his manager listened to our needs and helped us find the right vehicle for us. They never pushed a more expensive option nor the additional options if they weren't right for us. Additionally, it was fun to explore the cars that were new concepts even though they weren't correct for us. The manager took the time to explain and answer our questions. Our salesperson, Tom, was also remarkable in taking time to explain everything when we got the car. He set up our favorite radio stations, our driver settings and navigation. I almost felt guilty about how much time and care he took but he really seemed to enjoy helping us. I have used this dealership for three leases now and look forward to working with them in the future.

My service adviser Matt Bechard is the best. I emailed him last Sunday evening so he would see my email early Monday morning. Much to my surprise within ten minutes of me pressing send he answered me saying my car would be ready tomorrow. I have never in my entire life have had this happen. My service manager Jia Ho and all of the rest of the staff have always been extremely cordial to me and have always made me feel welcome. I met with Brandon Simon a few weeks ago at the BMW of Manhattan dealership with my wife to view X5s. He listened to all of your questions and addressed all of our concerns with the vehicle. He priced up a few different models for us and let us know if we had any additional questions. He followed-up with us the following week and we ultimately decided to go with the X5. He made the paperwork process extremely easy, was very responsive, helpful, and made himself available to us (even coming into the office before 9:00 AM on Friday so I could sign the paperwork before work). Ive been having my cars serviced at BMW of Manhattan for many years now. I have always been extremely satisfied with their service and results. From the time you drive in and are greeted by their friendly staff to the personnel at checkout has always been a pleasurable experience for me. I most recently had my car serviced at BMW NYC. My service adviser Matt Bechard was professional and extremely courteous. He had told me to leave the car there and he would call to let me know what needs to be done after it had been diagnosed. He would also tell me with that call when the approximate date it would be completed. The very next day he called as promised and I was told that specific information. I was thrilled by my next call from Matt telling me that my car was ready, which was 3 days earlier than expected. His diligent communication and his genuine caring for my concerns were very commendable. Also, when I went to pick up my car, I was able to sit and talk with Jia Ho (service manager) who took the time to analyze and give me his professional advice about my daughters BMW. This sitting with Mr. Ho turned out to be invaluable to us. I find and have always found BMW of Manhattan to be A+++++

I brought my car over for repair, youse lie and say its 3 spark plugs that are bad>600$ plus> 300$ for a air filter. I go over to bmw tenafly and they say my engine is leaking oil on to the spark plugs, and because the engine is under my warranty I pay nothing......

4th at this location for all sensors. First it was because the winter then it was the software. Then the service manager James tells me it's because of the nail on the in the back left tire. The man treated me like a woman who does not know why she is talking about. I'm sure that their technicians have no idea or to diagnose a problem. The men there are xxxxxx and I will be writing letters to all of upper management to how I was treated. The letter will sound better than this because I am walking. I speak to many people for my job and network daily. I will be sure to speak of my experiences with BMw.

My SA Jim was great, he updated me on the progress of what was going on with my car, furthermore i was satisfied with the end result of my service. BUT, someone has quick hands, i left my Luis Vuitton wallet (with no cash) in the side pull out pocket of the door, which can only be seen if you actually pull open the compartment (as if someone was intentional looking for something). My car was sent here after fire damage from a faulty wire near the battery damaged the car. This was back in September 2014. We are now over 6 MONTHS since the accident, and I have no car in my possession. Every time I have been told a deadline, or a possible date, it is somehow pushed back 2 or 3 weeks due to "new damage discovered", or "waiting on additional parts to come in." To add to this, there has been a complete breakdown of communication on the end of Joe Rocker and Jim Read, who I have to reach out to daily/weekly to find out the status of my car. This has been nightmare over 6 months, and I have been told by the dealership they are not willing to aid with assistance for my lease payments, and have not extended any help in a BMW loaner since the incident. In fact, the manager ( Joe Rocker) suggested contacting Avis Rental for a loaner vehicle and working with insurance to cover it. Seeing as how my policy is only covered for 30 days rental, I am glad I did not do that ( again, this has been over 6 months now). This experience has pushed me away from BMW for the lack of concern/help during this situation, and certainly from BMW Manhattan for their lack of communication/effort. As with anyone who owns a BMW, I expected better and I am disgusted with the service so far.

My bad experience: The service advisor (I use that term loosely since he rarely gave me any level of customer service) did not ever contact me proactively. Vehicle problem was mis-diagnosed. They kept pushing out the date the car would be ready. they had to order in another new part to match the replacement part. Car returned not fixed. Fri 2:30pm -- My car was towed to BMW Manhattan after it completely died on the highway. No car rental was offered until they diagnose the car. Sat -- they tell me it needs a fuel and oil change. I show them the receipt showing that was done 6 months prior at BMW. They have no explanation for their diagnosis. Tues -- they finally diagnose and and determine it it's a dead battery (not covered) and a bad fuel pump (under warranty). They can't explain if the battery had caused the problem or if it was a result of the fuel pump failing. Says the fuel pump was ordered in the morning. Cannot tell me when the car will be ready and the advisor patronizingly tells me 'it's expensive and it takes time'. Wed -- no contact from Advisor. I email him and leave a message. He finally emails at 6:30 to tell me the car will be ready on Thurs. Thurs -- no contact from Advisor. I email at 4:2pm. Advisor now says there is an issue with the fuel tank -- that it DOESN'T FIT THE NEW FUEL PUMP! Seriously? . They have to order a new one. Again, the Advisor condescendingly tells me that this takes time, and 'don't I want it to be perfect?' Car will probably be ready late on Friday. Fri -- Advisor sends a few emails saying the car is nearly 100% ready. By the time he lets me know, it's too late for me to pick it up. I finally call the Manager, and the Advisor called me back, saying the Manager had forwarded on the messageSat am -- I pick up my car, 7 days after it was brought in, but there's one big problem. The emergency brake doesn't work. Turns out that 'perfect' repair that I waited so long for wasn't so perfect after ll -- they FORGOT TO RE-CONNECT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE! So I had to drive the car back (30 min) and wait another day for it to be repaired. I refused to work with that same 'advisor', and he kept yelling across the drop-off area that 'she's my customer!' I stood my ground and had someone else take care of me. On top of that, the invoice says that a NEW FUEL TANK was installed and that the OLD FUEL PUMP wouldn't fit, so they had to order a NEW FUEL PUMP. This is a complete contradiction to what the advisor told me. Summary; Took way too long, advisor gave few rarely accurate updates, advisor was rude/condescending/obnoxious, and the car wasn't even fixed properly! Last, I get a call from BMW 4 weeks later telling me they've incorrectly charged me a $50 deductible fee and would need to credit me. It took them another 5 weeks to give the credit.My advice -- stay away if your car needs anything more than a check up.

They fixed the few things I needed fixed and the rep there, Carol, was extremely nice and helpful in terms of making sure the work was all taken care of and that the timing for picking the car up worked.Can't complain at all, it was a very pleasant experience.

This place will rip you off!My airbag light came on because of a faulty occupancy mat which I have the warranty for. Zachary Gessay told me they will diagnose the car and if the result comes out with a faulty mat then they will waive the 180$ diagnostic fee. The result came out with a faulty mat but under the same diagnostic, they found a "possible faulty module" and requested a 1500$ fee. I refused to replace the module then he billed me 180$ for the diagnostic fee, which the warranty covers. I protested by saying that both errors were found under the same diagnostic process, which the warranty covers. He said I will not have to pay for it when I pick up the car. Guess what, he lied and its on my bill when I got there. He simply said "I will not waive it" and left. I paid and waited 1.5hr for them to bring my car up from the cellar.On my drive home, less than 30 mins after leaving the service center. 4 new warning lights that I've never seen before came up. Please, do yourself a favor and go some where else. All the visitors at this place look grumpy and pissed off and i think i know why.

In nov 2014, I lost my car keys for my 2013 3-series. Went to bmw Manhattan to order a replacement. They charged me $400+ for a standard fab key with comfort access. Got the key two days later, but was told that while the key will open and start the car, the remote door open functions won't work until key is programmed. Price: another $300. Called a manager; after 30min wait no one showed up. Left dealership super angry. Needless to say, I found out on Internet that it takes 2 min to fully "program" the key yourself by holding it next to steering wheel. All good and working now. The BMW Manhattan parts / service are just liars trying to get extra cash from unsuspecting customers. Be careful!

It is my first official review and it will not be positive, unfortunately. I have debated back and forth and finally decided that i need to let my thoughts to be heard. I have brought my car BMW 2007 328i for a simple oil change and also requested a quote to change all four break pads. Turned out that i needed to change not only all break pads but also all four rotors. One of the representatives named Zack has left me a voicemail with a price quote. The price that was given to me was $1,600.00. I immediately have called a dealership in Atlanta, which quoted me the price for all OEM pads and rotors along with sensors around $660.00 with a 2-day delivery. So i was going to be charged almost a $ 1,000.00 for labor. Its okay if the dealership in Manhattan established their prices at this level. What not okay is that after i declined a quote Zack has not called me back or responded to my three voicemails. In addition i opened my trunk and discovered that my wheel lock key was missing and a compartment where it was laying was open. Zack's supervisor had called me back and assured me they did not touch the trunk or took my wheel lock key.

I had a nail in one of my tires and needed it replaced. Brought it in and worked with Zach Gessay. He put on a new tire for me in a few hours and I got my car back cleaned and vacuumed. Luckily, I got the tire insurance when I got the car so it only cost me my $50 deduct. Plus, Zach kept me posted throughout the whole process via email. I see a lot of people complain that they can't get the service advisor on the phone or to call back. These guys are very busy taking care of your cars. They don't sit there waiting to answer calls but run around all day. They are however available via email and respond quickly. Great service experience, great team, Zach and BMW of Manhattan rock!

When i brough my car for annual check up they noticed it had a recall and the car needed to stay overnight. I have to wait for a month to get a loaner because they didn't have a loaner available. I have to wait for them to schedule it for a month. Lack of loaner availability. When I returned a month later, the loaner they gave me, it had a flat tire. They only go around the car to check the outside condition of the car such as dents, scratch etc. they are supposed to give u the car in perfect condition. The tire pressure was on but I didn't pay mind because I thought it would go away. In the evening I noticed that the rear tire needed air. I put some air. In the morning the same tire needed more air and the monitor specify me that the car had a flat tire. I called the department of loaner and nobody answer, I left a voicemail to make the complain and the call was returned 6 hours later. I told the rep that it was ok that it didn't matter to speak with her because I was called to pick up my car. I was expecting a faster response. The advisor requested to hold $750 of my card in case something happen to the loaner. The advisor never explained me that they will hold your money for $45 days after you returned the loaner. If he would explained me that procedure in advance I wouldn't gave him my debit car. Another error, when the advisor asked me for the card, he specifically asked me for my american express card and my ID card. The error there was that he was supposed to ask for a credit card with specific logo and at the end when they charged me, the list of credit cards requiered were visa, MasterCard or discover. Very disappointed at their service.

stay away from this service, I have been on Aug 25th(I did appointment 10 days before, everything was booked), to change the oil for a 2014 328XI 5k miles and to see from where is the noise from the front tires, also a problem with the gear switch lights.I left the car at 10:30 am Mon to Bobby Erwin and he suppose to call me later to see what is wrong with the car, nothing happened, I called Tue morning, he doesn't answer to my call, voice messages and emails.Wed at 12 pm I arrived to BMW Service to see what is going on, Bobby tried to xxxxxxxx me and they could not find the noise, I took a test drive with one of the mechanic and he hear the noise(xxx. are you deaf?) and I told them to finish the problem with the gear shift and oil and I do not want to deal with them anymore, this was around 1:30 pm, they said the car will be done in 1h so I have a sit in the waiting area, after 3 h I ask were is my car, "in 10 min is ready", after one more hour I lost my patience and I speak to the manager Mr Jialoh Ho, he tried to explain me how is working the service, like a surgery department and how everybody is an amazing specialist, bla bla bla.finally I took the car around 6pm, what I notice, one front rim scratched and they even reset the service oil...so, 3 days the car was there a lot of waist time and no resolve.now I have the car in Brooklyn to other BMW Service, hope to be OK and fix the problems.I wished to give them zero or -5 stars....

I bought a new 550xi from BMW Manhattan in 2011. In September 2012, I took it in for regular service. What BMW Manhattan Service doesn't tell you is that they do the service work in Queens, not at their manhattan location. Worse, they hand the keys to your car to a valet service to drive your car through manhattan to the queens facility. The valet (who was unlicensed) driving my car hit a man on a bicycle, who is now suing me, the valet service and BMW Manhattan for his injury. BMW has asked to be dismissed from the lawsuit, claiming that they are not responsible since the valet was driving. That would leave just the valet service and me, the owner, as the people responsible for this injury. And I have a lot more insurance than the valet service. This is clearly dishonest behavior on BMW's part -- I had no idea anyone other than a BMW employee would be driving my car, I did not know the car would be driven to Queens through Manhattan traffic by an unlicensed employee of an underinsured valet service. Worse, I had no choice about it -- I hope you post this because customers of BMW Manhattan Service should know the truth about BMW Manhattan, and the risk they are taking with their hard earned assets and insurance coverage when they leave their cars there for service.

When my 2008 BMW 328xi became disabled, my first reaction was to have it towed to the dealership. Just for context, the lights, power windows, horn, radio, and heating system were functioning but the engine wasn't turning over. Christian Nguyen, the service advisor, had encouraged me to bring it to the dealership and he even coached me into writing an e-mail asking for "assistance" to cover the cost of the repairs- which I did, thinking he was truly trying to enhance my customer experience. I did know that bringing my car to the dealer would likely result in higher cost of repairs than if I took it elsewhere but I negotiated the decision by reminding myself that I own a high-end vehicle that requires the best service and that was something I knew upon purchase. However, it was very surprising to me when I was told that my car needed two things: 1. a battery, since my battery "failed load test," which was priced at $700 and 2. a starter, since my existing starter was "faulty," which was priced at $1,600. I checked the market price for that area and those parts using myCarfax and I became suspicious of the invoice I received. It was substantially higher. I opted to have my car towed to a trusted mechanic of my grandfather who confirmed that I DID need a starter but certainly not a battery. He performed the "load test" in front of me and sure enough, my battery was fine (my battery was replaced in Aug 2012 when I purchased the car). He also charged me less than $600 to replace the starter. Not only do I want others to know of my experience with BMW of Manhattan, but I also want people to know that Christian Nguyen will stand behind a lie. He attempted to align his self with me- coaching me into writing a letter asking for service, telling me he would negotiate with his manager a lower price for me- only for me to find out that I NEVER NEEDED A $700 REPAIR THAT HE QUOTED. The verbiage of the invoice DID say "recommended" repairs, which I'm sure he and BMW of Manhattan will cowardly try to hide behind, but a few lines after that, it also stated that the battery and the starter were needed in order to get the car "running" so they could further assess for other potential repair needs. In no uncertain terms is this behavior absolutely reprehensible, predatory, and damaging to the integrity of the dealership. On top of the faulty information, the dealership also charged me $133 to DIAGNOSE the issue. I will be making a claim for a refund on the grounds that the diagnosis of the battery was incorrect. No I am not naive- I do know that dealers LIE. But the common understanding that they do, does not excuse the behavior...especially when you get caught lying. I am writing reviews wherever I can and I will also be filing complaints. Please stay clear of this dealership and of this service advisor.

Don't Leave Your Loose Change!!!! I had the horrible experience of taking my car to BMW of Manhattan service department. They kept my vehicle for a whole week and only changed the battery. I could never get in touch with Bobby Erwin who was the service advisor. He even told me he was going to send me an email, because he was leaving the dealership in 15 mins. I made a surprise visit and he was standing around joking with his friends (and I was waiting for the email). They charge you $165 per item to basically repeat what you have already told them was wrong with the vehicle. A total waste of time and money. I would NOT ever recommend nor return to their service department. They even went as far as to steal $15 worth of change out of my ashtray and left two dimes. That is an example of their trifling business practices. When you first get there, they rush you into signing a form stating you have removed all your valuables from the car. Who would think they would be as low as to steal loose change. By the way, their labor rates are marked up higher than other BMW service departments in the area.

me and my husband are a very wishy-washy-decision-maker types. so when it comes to a car, which we know we will be driving for quite a bit,the bar was even higher on the wish and wash process. adrian turek broke the mold (after 4th wash). by being so quiet and lets you think you are making a decision, not pushing for any particular model, yet informative on any, we came to a decision that one visit. adrian aside from selling the car we want, went all out to find the exact fit, on the same day. he returns each call within the hour, without a miss, follows thru till the car is ready for delivery..the piece de resistance, once he is walking you thru your brand new car, he rhapsodizes on the details, each function never too boring, and had i more time, he could have easily given me another hour just on the virtues of the heated steering wheel and seats! obviously aside from selling, he really like bmw s, period!.. a pleasant experience and will check him out again came time to change!

While walking into a BMW dealership all over the USA (and elsewhere) is usually pure joy, it seems to me that this is the only BMW location managed by Hyundai: It has been in works for years, facilities are bare and minimum, still diminishing each year I visit (strictly for NYS yearly inspection as I would not dream of buying a pencil there). Although they ask for your cellphone number in order to advise you that the car is ready, I still have to receive one of those calls. This time, the icing on the cake was that an employee monopolized for 20 minutes (I checked) the use of the one only men's toilet... and finally walked out of it with a magazine. Questions as to whether your car is ready are answered with the standard "It is just being brought down from the car wash", which means nothing as you get the exact same reply 20 minutes later. THEN you get your paperwork and pay facing a sign telling you that cars will take 30 to 40 minutes to be brought, "due to construction". The warning is accurate.As I live in Manhattan but buy my cars in NJ (the excellent Prestige BMW) and have to do the yearly inspection in NYS, I am now planning to make future trips to Long Island just to avoid BMW of Manhattan.

Did this dealership get all their friends and relatives to put reviews up? This is widely known to be the most expensive dealership in the area and their service is ultra poor. There is a month's wait for a loaner and they keep the car for days for simple fixes (which is probably why they never have loaners). I would suggest avoiding this place if you can for either sales or service. I mean, unless you like being overcharged and your time being wasted.

It was time to get my first BMW, so after a lot of online research, I decided to complete the e-form to request a test drive of the model I was interested in. I was impressed that I was contacted back by BMW, within the hour of completing the e-form and after a brief phone call for more details, I was scheduled for a test drive the very next morning with the Client Advisor, Ricardo Rodrigues. The next morning I was there at BMW of Manhattan (57th street) at the agreed time ready for that test drive. Since the very first interaction with Ricardo, he demonstrated begin very knowledgeable about the make and model, and also exhibited excellent interpersonal skills which made the whole decision making process a lot easier. At no moment did I feel any pressure to make a decision, but just the confidence that I was getting balanced information from Ricardo which ultimately would help me decide appropriately. I decided to lease the car and was guided thru the correspondent paperwork process, also in a very efficient way. I picked-up my car the very next day and Ricardo took ample time to make sure I understood the basics of the car and other useful information before I drove off. Ricardo has also kindly followed up over the phone. The experience at this dealer has been excellent!

He was very honest as to what he suggested what packages to get with the car. It seemed almost as if a friend was guiding me and my family through the sales process. Over the last 5 years I had to purchase two cars without seeing them. I was out of the country. On both occasions I had the opportunity to work with Birgit. I picked up a new BMW 328xi on Thursday, March 14, 2013. My salesperson, Adrian Turek, provided helpful suggestions and excellent service beginning with our first meeting to purchase the car, and until the pick-up last week. Adrian made sure that the car had been fully inspected, took care of all the required paperwork (BMW, Insurance, Motor Vehicles, etc) and explained all the new features of the 2013 model. I would award him 5 stars for all his efforts and will definitely ask for him, in 3 years, when I'm ready to lease my next BMW.

I had to come here a few times because I was unable tl get an appointment at life quality BMW (my favorite service location.) i needed to get my car serviced for my engine, it constantly felt like it was going to stall out (I drive an automatic 328XI.) My service advisor was not informative or helpful in this matter. He attempted to charge me for two diagnostics, each costing $160. In the end the only work that was done was "s leaning of some rust surrounding the spark plugs." They had my car for three days meaning I had to rent a car for that duration. My service advisor was difficult to reach. I tried calling and emailing tues-thurs, he finally responded on Thursday to let me know how much I now owed and what work had been done. I picked up my car Saturday morning because they closed Friday before I was able to get off work.My engine continued to shake, basically he charged me for an engine diagnostic and a steering diagnostic (why he ran a steering diagnostic makes no sense to me.) I will never get my car serviced at BMW of Manhattan ever again. I will continue to go to life quality BMW in Brooklyn as I always have.

My experience with two cars was pretty horrible.On multiple occasions I had to bring back my car because the repairs were just not made, although I was certainly charged hefty fees. There was always an "explanation". Ultimately, as my patience wore thin, I sold the cars -- two high end 7 series -- and am no longer a BMW owner. Had I been told that the work would not guaranty a repair that resolved the issue, I would have saved thousands. And, with a one car that was under warranty, so that costs were picked up by BMW, return trips were necessitated, I was told, because BMW mandated certain protocols be followed so that cheaper fixes could be attempted before the final and definitve repair could be charged. BMW would follow up the service visits with an email asking for my feedback. But is it no surprise that after describing my problems with them in response, there was no further follow up to me. So now I am a happy Audi driver.

We've always had great service from BMW of Manhattan (we bought two cars there previously, but Birgit Allen's work was by far the best experience we've had to date, from BMW of Manhattan or any other dealer.Having owned seven BMWs over the years, we've dealt with a host of dealers on both coasts, most exemplary and some abysmally awful (Princeton BMW, I'm looking at you). We drove home in our new BMW this evening, and couldn't be more pleased by the experience of this purchase. My experience at BMW of Manhattan was simply terrible. CPO "Client Advisor," Roy was by far the rudest person I have ever met. On numerous occasions he called me a liar and even went as far as showing up 20 minutes late to a meeting he scheduled with me. His response was: "I have a lot of things to do." The car he sold me was for a fair price, but later I found out that BMW of Manhattan had crashed the car in their own parking garage after I had put a deposit down. They didn't tell me and proceeded to have their own body shop do a poor job at fixing the damage. After I took delivery, I questioned them about the damage, they took the car back to their body shop assuring me the damage would be fixed properly. Well, to this day, I am still looking at poor paint work.This was my first ever car purchase and I am completely surprised that BMW America would stand for having these guys part of their franchise. I recommend you venture outside of Manhattan for your BMW purchase and service.

WORST BMW DEALERSHIP EVER! They lie and hold your car far longer than they need to. They wait until the last minute to do any work to the vehicle and most times return it semi fixed. The service reps do not call back and if you decide to hold the line, the receptionists hang up on you or never return to the line. THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL GET YOUR CAR BACK ASAP IS IF THEY GIVE YOU A LOANER. I was given a loaner once while my breaks were being serviced and received a call within 3 hours stating that my car was ready. (BTW in order to get a loaner you must reserve weeks in advance which is totally ridiculous). The time before, I waited three days for the same service. I stopped servicing my car here but retunred this time because I did not have time to drive all the way to New Jersey in order to get decent service. This service department is an embarrassment to the BMW brand.

I purchased a used Harley Davidson motorcycle with 3,000 miles on it described as Excellent condition with no issues at all. After spending over $1400 in travel costs to get the bike and ride it home, I get there to find a motorcycle that is rusty, scratched, and has dents. The motor paint was flaking as well. Live and learn, but I wouldn't recommend buying a stick of gum from BMW of Manhattan!

By far the worst BMW Service ever from the service department to the individuals who work there. Ever since dropping off my vehicle to be serviced at this location it was a WASTE of time and MONEY (what is the 4yrs/50 miles warranty good for??!). In all, Jeff Cicero is the worst Service Advisor, he makes excuses each time you call him, beats around the bush and doesn't care about you. The service department damages your car when returned when it was clearly in immaculate condition brought in, "magically makes parts on your vehicle stop working when it was working perfectly fine", doesn't get the job done right the first time with going back and forth and DOES NOT, I REPEAT DOES NOT GIVE YOU A BMW LOANER in exchange when your car is abused from this dealership or with having a warranty on your vehicle. I dont want a crappy rent-a-car. I bought a BMW for a reason and dont want to drive around in a beat up Chevy. If I wanted a Chevy, I would have gone out and bought one instead. On top of that, although I was contacted from the head Service Advisor (Sal Rubino), dealt with other Senior Advisors supposedly (Jai Ho) about my issues, dont waste your time and breathe on them because theyre a bunch of degenerates who quite frankly don't value you or your time as a customer and they all put on a show and act the same. As for the staff, from being checked out too waiting for your vehicle, is absolutely horrible. Personally this is my .02 cents and experience from this dealership and hope whoever is reading this right now experiences better. But I warn those ahead of time to stay away from BMW of Manhattans sales and especially service department.

Let's face it. There is nothing abominable about BMW of Manhattan, it would probably rate quite acceptably if it catered to Yugos, Ladas or other clunkers... Only the fact that it constitutes the only bad tooth in BMW's otherwise perfect mouth makes it remarkable. I can cope with a yearly visit to get my NY State inspection sticker, which is what I just did on a new car intentionally ordered in NJ, but I would not dream of buying anything else there. You are a number and made to feel like one. The representative who picks-up your car has no name, or it just look like it. You get your car back 2 hours later after waiting in line to pay your small bill and waiting again for 20 minutes for the car to show up. They are supposed to call you on your cellphone when the car is ready, but it has not happened once in 14 years. Meanwhile, the "customer lounge" looks and feels like the inside of an elevator, your question whether wi-fi is available while you wait is met with shrugs or outright lies ("Yes, but it does not work today due to construction"), your then request to use a computer is firmly turned downI have had better service and friendliness at airport check-in bag drops. Then again, customers not used to the normal BMW attitude and service might find the experience not so terrible.

This dealership is pathetic. I've been there twice and both times they screwed me. The first time they wanted to charge $130 to diagnose every tiny issue I wanted them to look at. I took my car back and left.The next time they were replacing tires and an airbag. I've now been waiting nearly 3 weeks for work that should take 2 hours tops. They can't manage to order tires and get them in.The place is like a giant factory and they can't keep track of what's going on with any car. Everything about their operation is pathetic and unorganized.Since I had to put in an employee name, I should note that Jeff Cicero called me regularly and apologized. However, every time he called he had a different excuse for why nothing was getting done on my car. I honestly believe that he was embarrassed by how long everything was taking, but clearly he wasn't the one truly overseeing the repairs. This all goes back to the fact that this place is all about quantity over quality.

A year after purchasing a 5 series, the battery failed regularly. They stated the warranty and full service program only applies if driven 7,500+ miles annually. BMW USA declined to honor these agreements as well. After two years of miserable behavior by BMW Manhattan and filing a lemon law complaint, they solved the issue. At the end, they acknowledged missing a service bulletin regarding a flaw in the auxiliary fan switch.

Grace was very pleasant when i initially called the dealership with questions. I made a trip into NYC just to speak with her in depth regarding switching over to bmw. Milan was exceptionally professional and kind. He really worked with us to get a good price on the truck. Our experience at Manhattan BMW was not a great one, sorry to say. When you go into a place to buy something you wish for a nice sales person. I cannot say that it was a bad sales person but definetely not a friendly one. He showed us he did not care if we buy or not. We were not given options, only "IT IS WHAT IT IS" - if you buy a convertible car now this is what you pay for, you should wait until winter to get a deal---i mean, what sales person says that??? We went to buy a new 1 series convertible. We waited a while for a sales person to come and see us in the first place and then the entire experience was a mess. Maybe he was having a bad day, not sure, but we ended up feeling like he does not care if we buy or not. We left. We ended up going to Hassel BMW the next day and the service there is AMAZING. They are friendly, nice, helpfull, they give you choises, work with you, and we eneded up buying a 3 series BMW convertible at an amazing price. We are happy with our purchase and we loved Hassel BMW--we recommend them 100%!!!!I had to rate this Manhattan location as poor service as this is what we got, sorry!!! I would definetely not go back to Manhattan BMW.

Milan Milosevic was very trustworthy, and sincere as I began researching the purchase of my BMW. I went in to BMW of Manhattan with very limited knowledge, and Milan took the time to go through various models, and specifications with me at length. As it was my first visit, he politely answered all my questions while I did not feel pressured in any way. Milan called me one weekend with details about a specific BMW that met my specifications in my price range. Based on this call, I wound up purchasing a pre-owned BMW over a lesser quality model that I would have otherwise purchased. He was very responsive, professional and knowledgeable with regard to my concerns. Milan made the purchasing process very easy for me and I ended up with an awesome car. In the one day I have now owned my new pre-owned manual transmission convertible BMW, I have already received numerous compliments from friends, family and passers-by. Even my big puppy dog doesn't want to leave the passenger's seat! The 328i really handles like it's on rails and the stick shift makes the driving experience a true sport. I have been going to BMW of Manahattan for 5 years to service my 7 series. I have never had a bad experience with them. The car is always ready on time and the service is nothing short of excellent and professional. I've worked with Jia Ho exclusivley because he has never given me a reason not to. In fact, I always call him directly now and he is always there to answer my call or return it promptly. He knows what he is doing and is always honest with me. Last week, I had to get work done on the car and he suggested it might take a few days given what the problems were. I was prepared to be without a car for while, when he called me later in the day to tell me the car was ready. It is this kind of efficient, courteous professionalism that makes me want to own a BMW forever.

The time frame for pick-up and prices for the work performed always seem fair. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable, and is honest and upfront about any additional costs, delays in pick-up time, etc. I appreciate their honesty and feel that they do care about their customers. Really professional and organized.What really makes BMW of Manhattan so great to me is my service rep Buddy.I run a very large Films Production Facility in NYC call Citysage.We deal with celeberties all the time and hundreds of people in the movie industry. I have not met within my staff or in the industry (and ive been in it 20 years) a person more concerned and aware of customer serive as Buddy. He really cares and it shows. I had an issue with engine oil leak and noises coming out of front tires so I dropped my bmw at BMW of Manhattan service center. Service advisor Michael Ciasco made an initial assessment and verbally promised that all reported issues will be resolved for $4100 and repair work will be done in 2 days. Never responded my emails/phone messages and 3 days later we are told that additional $1500 will be charged to fix an oil-pan which wasn't detected during initial assessment. I asked him to send detailed break down of labor/parts and he sent me an invoice which was over charged for nearly $500 and upon my inquiry he responded in very unprofessional manner. Basically he was busted lying to me on an invoice and thinks that I was stupid enough to understand invoicing. So he becomes greedy and blamed billing department that they made an error. So I visited BMW of Manhattan service center the next day to resolve my issues but Michael refused to see me and instead directed to Jialoh Ho a senior service advisor. Michael saw me at the entrance door but pretended that he didnt even know me and was shaky and couldnt look into my eyes when I greeted him. If he was honest why would he be afraid to see me and work with me?? BMW of Manhattan service centre has serious ethical issues and service advisors are not qualified at all, though they pretend to be. They would tell you that everything will be fixed at the beginning but ****the trick is that they would never tell you that other issues may come up after fixing issues detected during initial assessment. This is exactly what Michael did and he cant live up on his own words so, he would not even see me and had me work with his manager Jialoh Ho. Only then I realized that Jialoh Ho was a real Korean Thug who was ripping off every customer, while pretending to be honest service advisor. So I asked him to take me down stairs to inspect my if the leak was really undetectable during initial assessment. And After inspecting oil leaks myself it was obvious that even a non mechanic person would have detected since the leaks were clearly visible coming out of oil pan. Jialoh Ho started to Bullshit how the oil was pouring at the beginning and they would not know until engine housing was fixed, which was a complete lie. Upon request to test drive, Jialoh Ho refused and verbally insulted by saying that "he is concerned that I will run away without paying the bill". He kept saying that Let me know, If we have problem paying the bills. At one point Mr. Jai insulted us again by saying, "I don't work for you, I don't work for you and who are you aggressive with??" and responded to our questions in very unprofessional manners. We requested to get Michael involved since he was the person we originally spoke and agreed upon, but Jialoh Ho refused again. Im not sure why Jialoh Ho would refuse us to talk with Michael. Obviously something was fishy and Jialoh Ho just another Thug with full intent of ripping customers. At one point honest mechanic wanted to put tires to see if the noises has really gone away but Jialoh Ho refused. I hope that honest mechanic would not be punished his willingness to help me!!!!! What kind of service shop would not allow to test drive your own car to make sure that things are fixed as they supposed to be??? Well BMW of Manhattan does!!!! I was fixing some of the things on my own so I was able to estimate labor hours. On the bill Thug Jialoh Ho inflated as much as twice for labor hours. Thug Jialoh Ho took 4.4 hours to fix the cylinder head cover gaskets, which I would have done in less than 1 hours if I had an equipments. For engine house oil leak techs only replaced $82 pipe and Jialoh Ho claimed 5.80 labor hours for $725. I can go on and on but, be ware that they would inflate the labor hours so make sure that you ask the price break down before doing any service. Other wise these Thugs will rob your money and before you realize, it will be gone!!!!! We came home empty handed with none of our problems resolved, but charged for $3800. We trusted and relied services provided by BMW of Manhattan but it was really Tragic to be treated unprofessionally by the Thugs. If the Thugs Jia and Michael are to make money out of customers with such unprofessional & unethical behaviors, I'm concerned that they would become negative role models for BMW organization. Im not sure senior managers are aware that they do have such employees. It is a big sin to take someones money without really finishing what they asked for and I would not be able to sleep at night if I ever did this to someone. America has become a place where you cant trust anyone and Thug service dealers like Jialoh Ho becomes role models to think why you should never go to dealers. MY M5 GOT SIDESWIPED IN CITY, SO I THOUGHT I WAS DOING THE RIGHT THING BY TAKING TO THE DEALER. BIG MISTAKE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY CHARGED ME $3200 FOR FOR A CRACKED SIDE MIRROR AND A SCRATCH DOWN THE SIDE. CLAIMED THAT THE TWO PLASTIC PIECES ON THE MIRROR WERE $600 BY THEMSELVES. I ALSO WAS GETTING A FULL SET OF TIRES SINCE THEY TOLD ME THE REAR 2 WERE WORN AND ONE IN THE FRONT HAD A SLICE, ANOTHER $1800. SO I GAVE THEM THE CAR, ADMITTINGLY, KNOWING I COULD GET IT MUCH CHEAPER SOMEWHERE ELSE BUT THOUGHT THE QUALITY AND SERVICE WOULD BE SUPERIOR. I WAS SO WRONG. WHEN I WENT TO GET THE CAR, THEY COULDNT FIND IT, I'M SERIOUS, SO I WAITED AN HOUR.(THEY DID HAVE GOOD COFFEE)THEN I FINALLY GET THE CAR, THEY EXPLAIN TO ME THAT I HAVE TO COME BACK BECAUSE THE THEY CHIPPED THE WOOD TRIM FIXING THE MIRROR (DONT ASK) AND THEY FORGOT TO TO PUT THE EXTRA FRONT TIRE THAT WASNT WORN IN THE TRUNK, SO WE HAD TO GO GET IT. WHEN I FINALLY GOT OUT, I WAS SITTING IN TRAFFIC ON 57TH, I NOTICED THE GAS IS BELOW E. YES BELOW E! SO I TURN AROUND GO BACK IN AND WAIT ANOTHER HR WHILE THEY GET ME GAS. THE CAR WAS LITTERALLY ON FUMES, THE ENGINE WAS HESITATING AS I WENT UP THEIR RAMP. I WAS LITERALLY ABOUT TO FLIP OUT. I FOUND OUT THEY HAVE GUYS DRIVE THE CAR BACK AND FORTH BTWN "THE AUTBODY" AND THE DEALER. WHO KNOWS WHERE THAT AUTOBODY IS, THE BEST I GOT OUT OF THEM IS THAT "ITS UPSTATE." NOT EXAGGERTTING, ASK THEM PLEASE. A FRIEND OF MINE THAT WAS GOING TO DINNER WITH ME, ACTUALLY STOPPED BY THE DEALERSHIP INSTEAD OF WAITING IN THE RESTARAUNT AND MADE ME LAUGH ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. BUT IT DIDNT END THERE,WHEN I LOOKED AT THE BILL THE PARTS FOR THE MIRROR WERE $200 NOT $600. I FELT VIOLATED. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND VOWED TO LET ANYONE THAT EVER ASKED ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE THERE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. THUS THIS REVIEW. PS. SPOKE TO THE "ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER," THE GUY WAS SO CONFUSED AND NERVOUS WHEN I SPOKE TO HIM, I FELT BAD. IT WAS LIKE YELLING AT A CUTE PUPPY. HE WAS APOLOGETIC AND SEEMED TO UNDERSTAND BUT IT SEEMED THAT HE COULDNT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THUS DANCED AROUND THE ISSUE LIKE HE WAS FRED ASTAIRE.

This, by far, is the most frustrating dealership I have ever dealt with in 50 year of owning cars. It is impossible to talk with anyone there. Every contact is by voicemail. Your questions are usually not responded to for a day or two. Unnecessary work (which I refused) is recommended and not related to reason for service request. Two examples of several: oil change before indicated, new tires (there is plenty of tread left and independent dealer verified this). Charges are outrageous: new alternator lists for about $500. Installed $1200, hourly labor (for book of 2.2 hours) about $300. When I complained I was offered a 10% discount which did not appear on final invoice. Voice messages and emails about this have gone unanswered. Car was not ready when promised and delivery was several hours late. AVOID THIS DEALER IF YOU CAN!

They made it really easy, I had gone to other BMW dealers and gotten numbers so when I showed up I was prepared. What I found out was the other dealers were full of it, they were charging me for items that were part of packages I already bought!!!Grace was great at showing me what was included and what was an extra charge. They were great, you gotta go here for a BMW.

This is by far the worst dealership I have ever delt with. After spending 20k on a new bike some punk kids kicked it over causing over 8k in damages covered by insurance. I brought this in to be repaired and my bike sat in the shop for 4 months! I was told that sorry "its the busy season" and they refused to give loaners out because the staff always took them home and out to play with. My insurance was fighting with them over giving them money. They tried time and time again to pay bmw for the repairs so they could get started and bmw never returned their calls or my calls for weeks and weeks at a time. I had to have the bike towed at my expense to another bmw dealership in nj over an hour away from the city where I live where the repairs were completed in 2 days!!! I escalated my issues to the shop supervisor, the sales supervisor, the dealership supervisor and finally BMW corp hq. BMW of manhattans response was to ban me from the building and ask that I never return. Stay away from this place and spend the extra time to go out to a proper bmw shop in nj where they are friendly and know how to treat customers.

I have had my car in service almost every other week, and alway get some story. I belive that there are not responsable for there actions... Hit my car on a few visits, and then denied doing so. Also there techs race your car whlie in the shop and forget to put thing back the way they should... Then when you complain, they say you should of checked beofre you left? Your the only one's who have taken the car apart who else should I ask?

I purchased my 2002 X5 from them. Later discoverd after an accdient that my passenger side had been previously repaired. No resolution to the problem after multiple visits and after meeting with a BMW field rep from BMWNA. They claimed never to have fixed it or that there was damage from shipping. After having a laywer hound them they offerec 30% of door repair. Left with a sour taste in my mouth. All they are interested in is taking your money.
