This is the second time my wife and I have bought the BMW X5 from BMW of Tenafly. We enjoy and are very pleased with this excellent driving machine and dealership. On both occasions of our purchase Ramon Moreno has been our salesperson. Ramon is attentive, knowledgeable and empathetic. He facilitated our purchase flawlessly. Vincent is an excellent example of a business manager. He wasn’t satisfied with our deal until we were satisfied. Vincent made it work for everyone involved. Sean the finance manager was patient and straight forward, he made sense out of complexity. I can not forget the service department. Pedro is the consummate gentleman. His knowledge and expertise of the BMW brand is head and shoulders above any service manager in the BMW franchise. Lastly, Dominic is EXCELLENT when it comes to informing you of any issues. He gives sound recommendations. He treats your vehicle as if it was his own. Preventive maintenance is the key. Dominic and Pedro have always had the customer in their best interest. Christopher the young man that explained the electronics was patient, kind and knowledgeable. Finally, my wife and I are very pleased with BMW of Tenafly. I went in for the replacement of a run flat tire and one other that had worn down. I waited for the repair. While it took a couple of hours, I was regularly updated on status , had the free no obligation 31 point inspection done which was very reassuring and was able to wait in a comfortable lounge. I have bought two cars here and love the place.

After seeing some of the best reviews of any BMW dealer in the area, I made Tenafly my first visit to look at a BMW 330 sedan. Normally, I scope out two or three dealerships before making a decision on a car, but I immediately felt comfortable with the staff there that it became my only stop. Ricki Shamen was the sales associate who helped me get into a lease and take care of a trade in on my previous vehicle and she is fantastic. She made the deal so easy and seamless, I was trading in my car and getting in the new 330i the very next day. The finance manager, Landon, was also phenomenal in how he thoroughly explained all the numbers, fine print and additional packages. No BS, no pressure sales and no sketchy tactics at this dealership. 100% recommend.

This was my first time having my car serviced on the East Coast. I was able to get an appointment for my car quickly. Gem was an amazing service provider. Loved her. They inspected my car and made suggestions but didn’t pressure me into anything. They repaired my tires and I couldn’t be happier. Definitely coming back for all my maintenance needs.

I traveled a long distance to purchase a used vehicle. The purchase went smoothly and the staff were nice. I expected that a "reputable" dealership would have caught major flaws and given me fair notice, or at least given consideration after the purchase. That did not happen. When i got home my Toyota dealership found the vehicle had been in at least 2 minor accidents and some damage existed under several body panels, but was not visible on the exterior. Other warranty repairs were needed as well. The vehicle spent over a week at the dealership over several trips. I consulted my salesperson Veronica Chicas. She was apologetic and claimed she would try to get some reimbursement on the collision repairs. I committed to the least expensive collision shop estimate based on the verbal promise that BMW of Tenafly could reimburse something. The vehicle spent another week in the collision shop. I paid the bill and submitted it to Veronica. She then became impossible to reach. They clearly have Caller ID and will avoid you if you're a problem. No phone calls or messages were returned until I left an angry message. I was finally contacted and told that I would be reimbursed half the collision shop bill, about 350 dollars, more than originally promised. She said the finance dept had computer problems and my receipts had been lost, but she would resubmit them and I should get a check in 4 weeks. 2 months later and nothing. No responses to messages now. I would have rather the dealership just denied my request from the beginning instead of drag me along for 5 months with false promises. I did the collision repairs based on THEIR promise to pay some portion of the bill. If you buy a used vehicle from this dealersip, do not expect any support after the purchase.

A WEEK AFTER I GOT A CALL AND A VOICEMAIL FROM MS EUNA STATES SHE FOUND A BEAUTIFUL BABY FOR ME AND I AM GOING TO LOVE IT BUT I NEEDED TO COME LOOK AT IT. WHEN I SAW THAT X6 I WAS SO IN LOVE I TOLD HER ITS MINE AND MY PAPERWORK WAS ALREADY PUT INORDER. I CAME TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE AND I WAS GREETED WITH SO MUCH LOVE, I EVEN GOT TO ENTER A RAFFLE AT THE DEALER. AFTER I DROVE OFF WITH MY TRUCK I HAVE RECEIVED EMAIL AND FOLLOW UP PHONE CALLS FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND MS EUNA TELLING ME THANKS TO BE APART OF THE BMW FAMILY, IT WAS SO COMFORTING DEALING WITH THE STAFF. Although I normally do not write reviews on any business I've experienced with, I find that it's worth my time signing up for an account to write this review. I would like to thank all of the staff for their exceptional services and professionalism at BMW of Tenafly; especially Stephen Hourican and Cristali Fernandez. They are the best team I ever worked with!! Stephen is very prefessional and he made me feel very comfortable while finalizing my leasing process. Steven has helped me a lot on deciding which dealership to choose and which one is worth my trust for the next 3 years. Unlike most of the salespeople I have dealt with my previous years at BMW, he was exceptionally supportive, gentle and reasonable that I did not hesitate to switch off my dealership at first visit. Cristali, she is the best! She is such a smart, loving, caring salesperson I have ever met!! She is very honest and understands how hard it could be for a woman to deal with numbers at a dealership. She truly is open hearted and more than willing to help me seek for reasonable prices at my preference, just like her manager, Stephen Hourican. She knows what she is doing while getting the deal go right without wasting each others time arguing over monthly payment and initial payment. She will not play you with false numbers. She is very straight forwarded and clear on what she can do for you. at BMW of Tenafly. you won't regret spending your time checking them out for your next car because you will end up signing that paper worry-free! SALES- I would not have written this review, but circumstances forced me to do so finally. I called into the dealership and then met with a sales representative about a particular car which had come in and was undergoing the process of certification. Inspite of that the car was sold out right under my nose and the lady that I first spoke to actually had the nerves to call me and give me the information that the car was sold, where as she was supposed to give me the info when the car actually came out and was ready to be test drivenSERVICE- I ended up buying my car from BMW of Fairfax. The Fairfax dealership did not have 2 key, so they sent me home with one key and fedexed me another a few days after. I unfortunately could not program the second key and called into BMW of Tenafly Service center to ask them whether they could program the key for me. After a brief hold I was told that they could, but would take about 2.5 hours of time and would cost $145.00 plus tax. I called into Park Avenue BMW and they told me to bring my car into their service center, where they took about 2 minutes to program the key and did not cost me a dime.POOR SALES and EVEN POORER SERVICE

I walked in knowing what I wanted 30 minutes prior to closing, my sales rep Cristali Fernandez stayed behind hours to get me a great deal, and 2 days later, I'm in my new BMW!! Total time at the dealership was a total of 2 hours max. If you hate wasting time at a dealer, know your credit, research the car you want and price you wanna pay before you go, and ask for Cristali Fernandez!

Worst dealership by far. Not only will this be one of many reviews about how they are thieves but I will explain why you should never deal with this dealership. I bought a car from them in July 11, 2016. It is not two months later and I still can't drive the car as my temporary plates have expired and I still HAVE NO TITLE. After over two weeks of bugging them they offered me a Hyundai!!! Come to find out the car had a lien on it when i purchased it, which is illegal. Now it has been two months and I still am told every single week that I will be receiving the title within the week. Not only did I get a lawyer but I have been calling every day with no return calls. I also went to my local dmv and the nice women is now calling the corporate BMW office everyday And they are now giving her the run around. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! Please give your business to someone who you can trust and who aren't thieves. They are rude when you call and can't give you a straight answer. Seems as if this isn't the first review on registering a car through them.If you want to be able to drive your new car that you are paying a payment on don't buy from them! Save yourself the hassle and go else where!

BMW of Tenafly does not deliver on the reputation of BMW. Charles Carmona (salesman) and Rich Aquino (used cars-sales manager) are the epitome of snake oil salesmen. I purchased a CPO X-3 that I have not been able to drive for a month due to inability to secure proper registrations on the vehicle. I understand that this may have been outside of the realm of BMW and that they are not accountable but the lack of customer service is 100% BMW. There was no contact from my salesman despite numerous calls that my temporary tags were nearing expiration. It was only after I went into the office and into the sales manager's office did BMW have any idea this was about to occur. It is on this visit, I learned my car could not be registered since BMW of Tenafly was awaiting the title to be released. No one informed me about this or had any idea of how long it would take to be rectified. There was little at best desire to accommodate my inability to legally drive my newly purchased car since the temporary tags expired. I had to demand to be given a car until this was resolved, however, one would expect I would be offered a BMW loaner...NOPE! I was provided a Hyundai---compliments of Enterprise. If I wanted to drive a Hyundai, I would not have conducted business with BMW. Three weeks into hearing "your plates will be in next week" and calling to have my rental car extended each week as they never were on top of this. My patience and frustration had peaked and I was able to have the GM return my call after ranting to a non-used car manager/team member. I attribute my returned call to John Pena-independent of the pre-owned team. John Pena has been the only person I felt understood my frustration and was empathetic. John Pena suggested, BMW make my car payment for the month I was without a car and after speaking with GM, John Maher he concurred. In the future, I will never conduct business at this place and have filed a complaint with Bergen County Consumer Affairs, DMV Consumer complaint, and BBB (although they are not members and have numerous complaints). I wish I had reviewed BBB prior to working with them and hope others will do and take their business somewhere else. I still struggle to believe this was a legal transaction and that despite my request for BMW to retain the X-3, I was always assured one more week and that because a contract was signed, I had to retain the vehicle and honor my contract.

Came in to have my car serviced due to my air conditioner not getting cold. I called Christian he scheduled a appointment for the next day. Brought my car in the next morning, wherr a loaner was waiting our arrival. A few hours later Christian called and said I can pick up my car. The air conditioning issue was completely replaced. No fees, no hassle, paperwork was fast and easy, my car was clean levels topped off and ready to go. Now the customer service "reps" always rub me the wrong way. Don't get me wrong, having this issue to start with was a inconvenience, however it was delta with immediately

I purchased a pre-owned car (1 owner, no accident) on 4/02/16 from BMW Tenafly and the check engine light was on as I drove home. I contacted them the next day about this issue and the salesman told me to drive it 3 times for at least 15 minutes and it might reset itself. Sales department and management would not return phone calls so I contacted the service departments and finally, John Viola handled the situation. I dropped the car off 5/03/16 for repairs. They gave me a 2016 BMW at no charge to drive while they repaired my car (at no charge). There was ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION from BMW regarding the repair status of my car. I called on 5/19/16 and they told me that the car should be ready 5/20/16, but we made arrangements for delivery on 5/23/16. They drove the car to my house and when I read the service invoice for my car I found out that my "vehicle sent to B/shop (accident during road test)" dated 5/13/16. WHY DID NO ONE CONTACT ME ABOUT THE ACCIDENT?

I recently wrote a review about the customer service at BMW of Tenafly explaining the wrongs that I felt were being done after I purchased a Lexus LS 460 L AWD. Well my salesman, Landon Greer, saw the comment and immediately contacted me and explained to me in full detail exactly why I was having the issues that I were. He furthermore extended me an unexpected and extremely hospitable act of kindness for my troubles and sincerely apologized for what I now overstand wasn't the dealership's fault. Mr. Greer also vowed to communicate more openly until my situation has been completely resolved and for that I am thankful! Mr. Greer is a standup individual and I'd be happy to purchase another vehicle from this man, no matter what dealership he works at. Gratitude!

I came in today since I had a weird odor coming from the vents when I have the heat/AC on. At first I went to Park Ave BMW but they would not fix the issue under warranty. My car only has 12,100 miles on it, so I didn't think that would be an issue. The complimentary maintenance did not cover the fix either since it was not due yet. So I called BMW of Tenafly. Kristen answered the phone and took some information from me and told me to bring it in and have it taken care of. She scheduled me with Jon and he took care of the odor immediately!I didn't know BMW of Tenafly was there. I don't see much advertisement from the dealership, but I will be back next time my car needs service.

We were looking to take European Delivery on a new M235i and were repeatedly advised by past participants in the European Delivery program to find a salesperson with lots of experience in European deliveries. Most BMW salespeople seem to know little or nothing about the program, and after completing delivery of our new car, I can completely see why having an experienced European Delivery salesperson is key, versus working with someone who is "learning on the job".Ricki Shamen's name kept coming up, and we ordered our car through her despite there being at least 1/2 dozen BMW dealers more convenient to us. Ricki's vast European Delivery experience paid off for us because she knew the in's and out's of the program, and was able to tell us exactly what to expect every step of the way.On top of that, I have lots of experience buying cars, and demanded an aggressive price, which, after a bit of back and forth, she agreed to. I particularly liked Ricki's no nonsense-no games attitude, and would strongly suggest her to anyone seeking to take European Delivery. Thanks again Ricki!

I want to commend BMW of Tenafly for the way in which the managed the entire transaction involving a new auto purchase. Appreciating the process of a good customer service experience truly unfolded during a two hours to follow. Over the past month, I have been watching a 2015 M4, that was on BMW of Tenaflys website. The car had every option, was the perfect color, and had relatively little mileage on the vehicle. More importantly, it was a true manual transmission vehicle, something I have always wanted. I left my home early Saturday morning, hoping to test drive the vehicle, but was uncertain if my trade and the purchase would be realized within a two hour window on the weekend. I needed to get back home to get my children to various sports events and was pressed for time. Within the first hour, there was little negotiation, but a very fair deal consumated involving the acquisition and trade-in of my existing car. The most important part of any customer experience involves the way in which a vendor manages adversity or rectifies a problem. Upon arriving home, I realize that one of the tires had excessive wear. It was the rear power wheel on the drivers side. I called Manny Ferreira and indicated that I did not look carefully at one of the tires. His response was that they would replace this tire ($500), and indicated to bring the car in when my schedule permits. The entire process was easy, efficient and more importantly "better than fair". From sales to service., 1 star across the board. I would suggest giving yourself 8 good hours to pick up your new car. Don't trust the sales person when they state it'll be ready within an hour or so. Body shop has no direction. 2 weeks for a repair that was stated to be completed in 3 days! Management is doing Penske Automotive a huge disservice and deserves to be replaced. I will say that George (new salesperson) was helpful, I hatted to cancel an order based on the final straw...Body Shop.

Luis M. greeted me as I walked in and immediately asked me what I was interested in. I told him I wanted a 3 series with specific options and packages. He carefully looked over the inventory and found one with the exact specs in a nearby warehouse. He gathered all my information and contacted the insurance company while the car was getting detailed. All in all, the whole process took less than 4 hours. It was a joy dealing with Luis and the rest of the Tenafly sales team!

I was on my way to a different BMW dealer to sign the lease contract for a new X5 when I run into Tenafly BMW and decided to stop by. Ernesto Motta, one of the dealers, was extremely helpful. He had a great disposition to work with me on the different alternatives that were realistic to my budget. He did not tried to push me to take a decision. The fact that they normally have a huge stock and Ernestos great disposition worked perfectly for me. I got a better equipped car in a much nicer color for less money.Ernesto went out of his way in every sense. Not only he stayed way pass his working hours but the next day he personally picked me up from work to take me to BMW to pick up the car. Just unheard of! This is my first BMW and if I decide to get another one in the future, it will definitely be with these guys.

When Victor Sousa called after I attended a sales event to tell me that I had won the i3 two year lease, I was floored! I was always interested in the car, but never seriously considered it for myself...WOW do I love it! Been driving it for a week now everywhere I go, it seems to fit my constantly changing car needs and BONUS I get a lot head turns and questions! I hated the car from the WEEK AFTER BUYING IT! I bought an X3 and from the 2nd [second] month it started to give trouble. The day before having it inspected at the DMV, the "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" CAME ON and the car started choking for gas.Called the dealer, couldn't get through to anyone. I went in person since my one month warranty was a few days from being expired.They fixed the problem for free and I took the car to the DMV and the car wasn't passed since it had some "problems!"Took the car back to BMW Tenafly, Again.The "problem" was corrected and the car was passed. Four [4] months later the "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON" and I called to make an appointment for service. I had to wait [2] two weeks for an appointment and I was slapped with a $2,500 bill of "Replacement of the STARTER COILS.[1] One month later "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AGAIN!!!!!!This time it was a thermostat that malfunctioned and destroyed the "Reservoir/ water bottle" and that was another $800, again.Now, yesterday [SUNDAY 6th June, 2015] the car refused to start, it's now the FUEL PUMP HAS TO BE REPLACED at a cost of $1,000 dollars!I'm so through with this car and the people at tenafly BMW!Next week I plan on selling this car. IVE HAD ENOUGH HEADACHES FOR ONE CAR.

I have to admit I was somewhat skeptical about retuning to a BMW dealership. I love the cars but some of the dealerships I have recently visited were not courteous and professional. BMW of Tenafly were exemplary in every way!I was greeted by Rick Young who shook my hand and with a warm smile introduced himself. I told Rick what I was looking for in a car. I test drove a 5 Series which was an excellent vehicle through a picturesque neighborhood down a winding road. We returned after 15 minutes and a beautiful 3 Series caught my eye. It was low mileage and stood out from the rest. Rick, my salesman grabbed the keys and we were off! When we returned, I met James in finance and left him a deposit. That following Tuesday I met with James again, who fully guided me through the business aspect, warranties, and contracts. The entire car buying experience was without pressure, professional and absolutely without question the smoothest purchase ever of an automobile. I felt confidence and knowing that there was a helpful and knowledgeable team behind the purchase of my car.

This is my fourth BMW and I never realized what the car was capable of until Fred explained the dynamics and driving features of the car that make it "the ultimate driving machine". I always loved the way BMW drove and handled but now I understand why and how it does the things it does. I was looking for a 2015 BMW 335 GT which isnt a very popular model so many dealerships carry low inventory of this car. I had visited three other BMW dealerships in my quest to find the right one and none of them wanted to take the time and effort to let me get to know the GT model. I traveled to Tenafly because they had a fully loaded model that was a little over my budget but I figured I would check it out. I called the day before and arranged a test drive during my lunch break the next day. Fred had the car ready for me and he took me for a nice long test drive through windy roads and highways to show off the car's excellent features. We got back to the showroom and now it was time to talk price. I told Fred that the car was out of my budget but I really liked it. I gave him the number I was looking to spend monthly and he actually came back to beat it! Not only that but the SUV I was trading in was given a trade in value for $3000 more then the other local dealerships so I made out there as well. I came back a couple days later to take the car home with my wife. Fred explained all the features to us from front to back and then some. When you see him ask him about BMWs "drowse dial", its a pretty funny story. Again, its my fourth BMW and I never knew of all the things that the car was capable of doing until I finally was linked up with a very well versed, seasoned car guy like Fred. He even programmed our phones, our address in the nav system, and got us set up with the audio system by locking in our favorite stations and custom setting up the EQ to our type of music.

I found a good deal on a car and decided to take the drive up to pick up my X5. I thought they were being honest when they told me what was "wrong" with the car. After agreeing and signing the paperwork I find out there is a second key missing. When asking my salesperson he said he would contact the previous owner. Not only did I never hear from him again he never even returned my calls when asking him if my plates were in. I was also told the oil would be changed before picking up the oil. Good thing I was fixing the car because the oil had never been changed. I've bought many bmw's before and the service here was the worst I've ever gotten. Good thing I enjoy BMW's and will continue to enjoy them or this would have turned me away from them.

Please never call this place. They never return calls. So please don't waste your time calling. Also take car of your own license plates. Because if your temp plate expires they will leave you with the humiliation of being pulled over by the police. They will promise to return calls and emails but please believe you won't hear a word from Tenafly. I wouldn't recommend anyone deal with this dealership. Their customer service is the worst

We got our 740li from BMW Tenafly yesterday and the entire experience was the best car buying experience we ever had SalesPerson : Roland LlupaBusiness Manager: Shaun HayesRoland was terrific, he was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and caring through out the process, he wasnt pushy and worked with us to get us the best deal on the car. He explained every part of the process and was prompt in responding to our questions He even got the car off the showroom display for a test drive which we struggled with other dealers in the area, most of them didnt even bother asking if we wanted to test drive the vehicle We got the car on a weekday and he had everything ready to go for us when we reached the dealership right from the finance documents to temp plates, the car was waxed and shining and waiting for us Roland even got the financing done in less than 45 minutes, we did 80% of the deal on email which was IMHO amazing Shaun guided us thru all the available options from paint to keys to tire protection, he was friendly and patient throughout the process. I will never purchase a car again from Tenafly BMW. This was the worst experience I've ever had with any business. I purchased a used BMW and paid thousands to upgrade it to their so called quality of excellence standards. Since the day that I drove my vehicle from the parking lot of Tenafly BMW it has been a nightmare come true. The salesman are quick to rush you and I have been told lie after lie from sales, finance and the service department. They do not care about you or the service they provide, they only care about how much money they can get from you. Dominick in the service department is the only credible person that I have worked with and know from Tenafly BMW. It hasn't even been six months since I made my purchase from Tenafly BMW and I have been to back to their service depart now more than three times. It is embarrassing to have a big tow truck come to your neighborhood whether it's morning, afternoon or evening to come and tow a vehicle that you have not had longer than six moths. With my experiences their customer service and reliability speaks for itself. I'm sure that any one who knows me personally or who lives in my neighborhood will not be interested in purchasing a vehicle from Tenafly BMW based on my experiences.

He is very knowledgeable, friendly and straight forward. He never forced us to buy the car like most other dealers do nowadays. Gave us time to think, rethink and then decide. He spent a lot of his time with us, after the purchase, explaining the various media functions inside the car. I really appreciate his professionalism and dedication towards work even in extreme weather conditions. Our finance manager - James Porrazzo was also very helpful and explained all the paperwork in detail. He negotiated with different banks in order to get us the best interest rate. Also, he never forced us to buy any of their fancy packages, instead, explained the pros and cons of each of those.Overall, our experience was smooth and satisfactory. Customer service and satisfaction is their top priority and I would rate them 10/10 for that. George G."BETTER THAN INCREDIBLE"My daughter totaled her car last Sunday due to black ice and was anxious to get another used car for school and work. We spent days on line and visited 4 dealerships with bad results. We saw a used Audi A4 on the BMW of Tenafly site and decided to check it out even though we live an hour away in Hunterdon County. From the very beginning Onofrino A. at the used car side of the dealership knew my daughter was anxious. Due to the snow storm the day before, the staff at BMW was short handed and things were a little hectic. Onofrino made sure that the vehicle was inspected the very next day (bumping other cars in line so that my daughter could get back to college). He promised that he would personally call me with the results the next day, which he did. Ono then passed us off to Manny F. who set up the paperwork and the deal if the vehicle met our standards. Manny then passed us off to Chris G. who took us to the lot, cleaned six inches of snow and ice off the car and patiently stood in the freezing cold while my daughter took her sweet time looking at the car. After a complete and thorough safety inspection by Perdo V. (BMW of Tenafly will not release any car unless it passes a safety inspection). Pedro inspected every detail even advising that the wiper blades needed to be changed. After receiving the safety report from Ono and Manny I decided to make the deal. We set up a time to pick up the car the next day. I was amazed to find that BMW of Tenafly detailed the car inside and out, had all the registration papers ready and had even changed the oil in the car even though I bought the car "as is". When my wife and I saw the car, I wished I had bought it for myself and not my 19 year old daughter. After signing the papers with Sean, I was out of the dealership in 30-35 minutes. I am 53 years old and have probably purchased or leased 20 cars for me, my wife or my daughter. I have never had such a great experience with a great group of guys that cared about my family, and they didn't even sell me a BMW, but wanted to make sure that we received a quality car at a great price, and that the car almost looked showroom new even though it is ten years old! I have never written a review before, but I will say that Onofrino, Manny, Chris, Pedro and Sean were absolutely amazing to work with. All I can say is thank you gentlemen, you've made a young lady and her parents extremely happy! You have my number call me anytime as a a reference!

I been servicing my vehicle for about year & half I must say first couple times service was greate,last 2 tymes was a disaster I callec 10 days prayer to book a date for service, I bring the care there,they made me wait 2 hours and they rean out of loners, then they tell me we can gat you rental car & they will pay for it so they drive me an another person couple blocs to the enterprise rental car now I hawe to wait there another 10 min now this place has no cars the only car they have is mini van you got to be kidding me, i really want it to like this place and considering to upgrade to a different vehicle since I am a local business but the way they treat me I would newer return to the place Enver Gashi

My service guy said it would be 2 hours of diagnostics to determine what is wrong with my car. He arrived at his two hour diagnostic fee off the top of his head. They did the repair but charged me for the repair as well as the two hours of diagnostic fee which they said they would credit to reduce the cost of the repair. also, they do NOT warantee the repair in anyway. I think they just charge for the diagnostic then take a guess what needs to be replaced and charge you for both. When i asked for the diagnostic result they refused to give it to me.

Sales person J. Porrazzo initially was quick and professional in responding via email/phone to my requests. After meeting with him to go over pricing, (not agreeing on the lease numbers), he no longer wants to reply to my emails and never calls to followup. He just cuts off communications with you. By listening and conversiong with them, they seemed only want to deal with the "important" customers who buys higher end models, but still talks bad about them behind their backs!.

The price was negotiated over the phone, and over the phone I got better price than any other dealer that I met in person! When I got to the dealer I was greeted with a smile and ask if would like any beverages, coffee, water. My sales person was Ernesto Motta and he was great! Had the car pulled up already, showed and explained everything, no hassle, car was exactly as described and best of all at the price that was promised. The experience was amazing!! While I was admiring the car outside Victor Sousa General Manager came out to thank me personally for the purchase and becoming a part of the Tenafly BMW family. Finally an enjoyable experience buying a car, and I wasnt even in the market to buy one. I brought my dented, aging BMW in for service at Tenafly BMW and while walking thru the Pre-Owned Dept, I started talking to one of the Salesmen about the newer models. I quickly explained there was no way I could afford one on our limited budget. He asked me what I could afford and he actually figured out a way to make it happen. Noel, our salesmen did not possess the haughty attitude I have experienced from some luxury car salespeople. He was patient, fun and yet focused on making it happen without being pushy. We could not be happier with our new 2013 BMW , I would definitely recommend talking to Noel if you are in the market for a pre-owned car. In regards to Service, I have found service to be excellent. John, our Service Representative, was extremely helpful and honest. I feel this is a place I can trust for service.

Quality of work is good however client service (and manager) unfortunately is not. Unfortunately they have to force themselves to provide basic customer service. Service manager was flat out rude and unprofessional. Park Avenue BMW on the other hand is much better. Better quality, much better manager and service crew. I would advise you to give Park Avenue a try - I have been going there for a decade and have nothing but recommendations for them! :)

My service advisor, Gem was amazing in her detail as far as following up with me, working with the service technicians and keeping the Service Director in the loop on progress. I was getting a little frustrated that little things would pop up, but Gem was always on top of things, helping to keep my mood light and staying determined to remedy whatever issues came up. A few months ago I bought a car from this dealership and had a great experience working with one of their sales reps (who is no longer working there). Unfortunately, my fiance and I decided to give them more business and had a VERY bad second experience. He had met with Susie Kang to test drive a used 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. After speaking with her and agreeing on a price (during which time, by the way, she emphasized a lot of concern over her end of the month bonus), my fiance set up a second appointment so that I could come in and test drive the car. Prior to our meeting, we ended up deciding that we were going to purchase the car. He called the dealership an hour before our meeting to let Ms. Kang know that he was coming in to buy it. She told him to come in with a Certified Check - and fully implied that the car was being held and would be available for purchase at the time of our appointment. As we were ON OUR WAY to the dealership, with our certified check made out to the dealership, she called back to tell us that she had just sold the car to someone else. Obviously we understand that the dealership did not do anything illegal, as there was no signed documents that bound us to the car. However, it was in very bad taste and demonstrates a giant lack of customer service and consideration. To be honest, from reading some of these reviews it doesn't seem like we are the first to complain about Susie Kang's poor professionalism. Needless to say we will not be giving this dealership any more of our business and will be spreading the word to our friends and family as well.

This dealership wants you to be happy and come back as a repeat customer. I was going to take the drive from Northern Connecticut to test drive a Mercedes Benz R350. The salesman Paul told me there was a transmission issue that was discovered during the initial inspection after they posted the vehicle. They are going to sell the vehicle "as is" and he didn't feel right that I drive 100 miles without me knowing this. I have to say - MOST DEALERSHIPS could care less and not tell you anything and have you waste time and gas but I have to give these guy's credit for being up front! I'm hoping they have another similar vehicle come in the next few months so I can give them my business.

My car was towed to Tenafly BMW because it was dead and could not start. I was told up front that the diagnostic would cost $140 regardless if I gave them the ok to do the work or not. I was still responsible for the $140 flat fee. They diagnosed the problem to be a bad starter and quoted me $925 plus tax plus the $140 diagnostic fee. In the meantime, I called Wide World of cars to see what they would charge. Their price was $675. I called back Tenafly BMW and told them not to do the work and I would have a tow truck to pick up my car. I told them they were much more expensive than any dealership. They did not care. When they gave me the bill for the diagnostic charge, I saw they had charged me $226.81. I immediately disputed this and the service writer said he never quoted me $140. He most certainly did, and my wife was a witness to this. In the end, he said he did not want to argue with me and would adjust the bill. He gave me another bill for $151.20, which included a "miscellaneous charge"????Even though I live in Tenafly, I will travel the distance to go to Wide World BMW where they are fair and honest. Never Tenafly BMW again.

My family and I had a long history with this dealer, back to when it was DiFeo BMW. We got 3 BMWs from them, the first of which we subsequently found that we had been ripped off. That salesperson has since long left the dealer. However, on our 2nd and 3rd cars, we had serious problems with service. The service department was completely unreliable and unresponsive. There were many instances of long waits just to see a service rep and missed deadlines for service on the car. In one occasion, shortly after I got my BMW 330i, the company issued a factory recall on the car software. This was just prior to a Memorial Day holiday. What began as missed deadlines and promises that they couldn't meet, the service department ended up keeping the car for the entire holiday weekend. Obviously, this messed up my plans so I was upset, however, there was no remedy, assurances of completion or apologies offered by the service repSince then, we have vowed never to step foot in this dealer again and haven't for the last 4 years and 3 cars. However, we recently purchased an X3, at another dealer, of course. Given their proximity, I went back for service, this time for a simple oil change. They open at 7:30 am and my appointment was for 7:45 am, which means I was the 2nd appointment. I got there on time but I ended up waiting 1 hour, which no acknowledgement. Given the bad history, I was fed up and asked for my car back as enough of my time was wasted. The service rep was surprised that I waited 1 hour. Unbelievable! The service rep should know his own schedule, and unless he was seeing his first customer of the day for an hour and 15 minutes, was obviously seeing other people who were behind me. I don't know who the manager of the service department is, but I sincerely hope he or she gets their act together.After many years and a name change, this dealership has not changed. The sales staff isn't that great, but the service department is unbelievably horrible. I have found staff at other BMW dealers to be incredibly more helpful and diligent. Nevertheless, my family and I have moved on to another brand where both sales and service are reliable and punctual. Although BMW of Tenafly is convenient for me given its location, I will gladly travel out of my way to avoid them if we decide to get another BMW down the road.

Go in for oil change and you get a screw stuck in your tire and dealer wants to charge you money to fix the tire. I said no because I didn't have screw in my tire when I brought the car in because if I did have it it made noise since metal head on screw was hitting the road surface plus it only cost $10 to repair this and why would I drive around with screw in my tire I would fix it immediately. Since Tenafly service dept claims its not auto related screw I showed the screw to BMW Park Ave service person and he determined it is used in BMW. Its very unique screw and you don't see these screws on the street. Anyway made complaint to BMW NA since the service rep from BMW Tenafly was very rude. Before and after is totally different these service rep are friendly in beginning until you complain they will treat you like dirt. At least I have a choice so I have nothing to loss I'll go to different BMW dealer and make sure all my facebook friend do not use Tenafly BMW.

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a certified pre owned 750iX from BMW of Tenafly which started having transmission problems soon after I bought it besides many other unexpected problems I had where I had to take the car to the dealership more than 10 times. I dont mind taking the car to the dealership for repairs but my transmission problem turned into a nightmare. The car kicks forward right before coming to a stop and although I took the car back to BMW of Tenafly numerous times they are unable to repair it and I was told not to bring it for this problem because apparently they contacted BMW NA for this transmission issue and the response they got back was BMW is aware of this problem but there is no solution for it. Driving the car every day to work turned into a great pain because I am trying all sorts of weird stopping patterns in order to avoid the kick forward before coming to a stop. In certain instances the kick is strong enough to move me closer to the car in the front. The very typical response that I get from BMW of Tenafly is oh all 7 series have this problem or they all make this noise which is nonsense. The service manager told me that he owns a Lexus with 180K miles on it and he never had problems like this, these cars are very complicated and they all have problems which they can not fix???? A car that I purchased having full faith in the manufacturer turned into my worst lemon experience. I wrote to my salesman Thomas Nehme and his response was "we will consider taking your vehicle in as a trade and we will be very aggressive in pricing the vehicle you decide to purchase" meaning I will lose 10K over this transaction.It is also interesting that they sell many CPOs that have very low mileage, how can a car have 3 owners in 28K miles? My suspicion is that they sell vehicles that were former buybacks as part of the lemon law and I ended up buying one of these. I asked for the prior service history of the car and they refused to show it to me. BUYER BEWARE!

Purchasing a new car is usually a stressful experience with lots of waiting around while the salesman "checks with his boss" and the business manager tries to sell you a bunch of add-on warranties. Not this place. Our experience here began with me sitting down with Mike Smeraglia the General Sales Manager. Great guy, asked a lot of questions, listened attentively, and was able to recommend just the right car on the first shot. When I showed up on Saturday morning with my wife he already had the car cleaned up and waiting for us at the front door. Mike introduced us to General Manager Victor Sousa, another great guy. We soon felt right at home. These guys don't hide behind their computers. In fact when we had questions about pricing or equipment, they showed us what they were seeing on their screen. Sean Mohammed was our Client Adviser. Sean is smart, polite, patient and was very helpful on the test drive.We started around 9am and drove off in a shiny (nearly new) black 328i just a couple of short hours later. (Thanks to some fast work by business manager Jose Santiago)Even though we were in and out in a hurry, the dealership has since reached out to us several times to make sure everything was OK and that we were happy. We've called them a couple of times with questions about the car. They answer their cell phones, even after hours.Overall a very nice experience.

This is the second certified pre-owned vehicle that I purcahsed from BMW of Tenafly within six months and for which I dealt with Marlen Gafanovich. My Wife and I went in to look at a used 2012 BMW X5. We weren't expecting much as usually dealers aren't helpful. We were quite surprised how nice and helpful they were, Especially Marlen. We went for the usual inspection of the car and test drive. Loved the car and now we started to talk price. The advertised price on the internet was low but of course everyone wants a discount. They worked with us a little bit to get the price lower. Firm but fair. Marlen was very honest in his opinion and trying to work with us. In the end, we walked away with a almost brand new car from Marlen and BMW Tenafly. Marlen has called me to ask how everything was and if we needed any more assistance with the car. I came in with financing already in place, but ended up going through the finance office because they just about matched the deal I had already in place. First, I was originally sent to see Sean Mohammed from a friend that purchased a pre-owned car from Tenafly BMW. He spoke with my husband on the phone a number of times to try and figure out how he could help us to find a car. The day we needed to come in he had personal business to tend to, so we were unable to meet with him. We first spoke with Burt who was very pleasant. He had a committment to another customer, so he sent us over to see Paul. He was absolutely amazing and truly the reason why we were sold on your dealership and vehicle. He was honest, knowledgeable and friendly. He took his time and was thorough in explaining all the little details of the car we were interested in. He didn't rush or pressure us which was such a nice change compared to other dealerships we had visited. He took us on a long test drive and was genuinely excited for us when we found the car we loved. As we waiting for all the paperwork to be done, we went to grab a bite to eat. We were nervous as we have been "wheeled and dealed" in the past when buying/leasing vehicles and that perhaps upon our return your finance person was going to come back to us with all these new fees and/or non approval of our loan for whatever reason. When we came back to the dealership we saw Paul getting out of our car and he turned to us and said "going to gas it up" with a huge smile on his face. It seemed as though he had just given a good friend wonderful news vs. him making a "sale". Again, it was truly an experience my husband and I will never forget and are greatful for as this was a big and exciting purchase for us. We know we will continue our relationship with the dealership for many years to come as well as highly recommend them to everyone we can. Jose Santiago was our finance guy who also was very warm, honest, friendly and helpful. He came to us while we were waiting to personally let us know how long he would be. When we met with him to finalize the sale, there was again, no rush, no pressure and it was a smooth, painless proceedure. I cannot say enough about these guys and we haven't stopped smiling since the purchase. Thank you!

I have purchased both new and used vehicles before and have was not looking forward to the process again. Marlen, however, made this process a positive experience. He was extremely helpful in suggesting a vehicle that we might be interested in and took the time to answer all of our questions without pressuring us. Everything including the vehicle "delivery" was as promised and timely. He took the time to make sure we understood the features of the vehicle that we purchased. Hands down Mikhail is the best salesman I have ever dealt with!!! I have accompanied my father (big time bargainer) on 6 car purchases and as you can imagine I have dealt with many salesman. I am not going to go into Customer Service, Quality of Work, Friendliness, Overall Experience and Price as you can see I gave him a 5/5 for a reason. But I would point out somethings that differentiated him from other salesman. The man is quick! Quick with service, keeping you posted, responding to emails/phone calls....almost feels like you have a personal salesman from beginning to end. He even calls to check up on you after you bought the car to ensure that you are satisfied. Keep in mind that I was not buying most expensive model (my vehicle price was around 3 series range and was a used car). He is very social. Does not matter what age you are you will have a good conversation with him and he will keep you entertained. I cant recall ever feeling that car buying was fun because it has always been a torturous process but Mikhail knows this and he does his best to work with his managers and you to make the negotiating process as smooth as possible. I want to also bring in Jose Santiago for my next part. A quality both Mikhail and Jose have in common is that they are considerate. Long story short after negotiating the price when it came to paying for the vehicle there was an obstacle. I came in with a blank loan check provided by my bank. Plan was to put some money down on the car and remaining amount I was going to write on the check ad finance through my bank. It turns out according to their policy they cannot take the check since it is the same as draft check and at the same time let me take out the vehicle. From a business perspective it is a risk. These guys went out of their ways to make sure I left as a happy customer and with a car that I wanted. First they tried getting me the same loan and the same rate through the various banks the dealer works with but I was denied since I don't really have a credit history for borrowing that high amount even though my credit was good. I would need a cosigner in order to be approved. It turns out I got very lucky to be approved for the amount I was approved for from my bank. This is what the Mikhail and Jose told me. They said they were going to work this out for me. They are going to talk to management and figure out a way for them to accept this check and process (but no car until payment is received). They said that if management accepts it will be beneficial for me because now I can build up credit and in the future not have to worry about this sort of thing ever coming up later on with loans. In the end I got the car I wanted, worked out the loan/check issue without having to involve my dad to cosign, an opportunity to increase my credit history/rating and a dealership I can go back to for future purchases. P.S. I saved a lot of money too!

Had a good experience working with Luisa, she made the car purchase much easier for me. I bought the car over the phone as I live on the west coast. The whole transaction went real smooth and working with Luisa was amazing. She helped me to faciliate the paperwork and shipping the car all the way to Utah. Just getting the transaction done over the phone without looking or driving the car was a big risk for me. When I received the car, it was exactly in the shape and condition as it was explained to me over the phone. I would buy another car from this dealership if I buy my next BMW. My leased car was only a few weeks old before it was almost totaled in a hit and run accident. Prior to that, I had a Lexus for twelve years that had never been in an accident, making this wreck an even bigger issue. What a lovely dealership. I had an incredible experience there last week. Andrew Benti was so knowledgeable and friendly. I was torn between the different years/makes/models and he showed me all the features and differences so that I could make an educated decision. I am a Manhattan resident and I switched from BMW of Manhattan to BMW of Tenafly because of their outstanding customer service! They go above and beyond to make sure you entire service experience is exceptional. On one occassion, I had just arrived at my office for an important morning meeting and was not able to put the rear window up on a morning that a "Noreaster" was forecasted for the NY/NJ metropolitan area. I called BMW of Tenafly and spoke to Sandra and explained that my power window needed to be repaired, but that I was not going to be free from my meeting until that afternoon and would not be able to bring the car in. I also expressed concern that interior of my car would be damaged during the storm since my window was down. Sandra told me to hold on and that she was going to find a solution. After a few minutes, Sandra came back on the line and told me that they were going to have someone drive to my office and pick up my car and drop off a loaner for me. I was speechless! My office is located about 35 minutes from BMW of Tenafly. I could not believe they would do that for me! They were able to pick up my car that morning and drop off the loaner before the storm started. My car was repaired and ready for pickup that evening after work. I would recommend this dealerhsip for all your service needs. They do exceptional work and really do go the extra mile to make the entire service process as painless as possible. Sandra and Ed are a great team to work with there.

Being from the DC area, I had talked to a number of local dealers and was unable to work out any reasonable deal for a CPO 5 series. Then I saw a listing online for a car that had everything I was looking for. I called BMW Tenafly and spoke with Rick Young. We very quickly and easily worked out a deal over the phone. I told Rick that I was hesitant to drive all the way up to NJ if he couldnt assure me that the deal would go through as we agreed. When I got up there, sure enough, there was no backtracking and Rick and the management of BMW Tenafly honored the deal as is with no surprises. Getting a new car is always a difficult undertaking. For us it is especially daunting since we have to get two cars at the same time.This my second time working with Angelo and the experience was seamless. I only had to make one visit to finalize a deal on two five series. I typically shop around to make sure that we are getting the best possible price, and Angelo unlike every other dealer that I have worked with cut through the nonsense and helped me work out the numbers that fit my budget. Bob Ryan gets me in and out quickly when I drop off the car, and the waiting room is clean and comfortable if I am there for a quick visit. Bob sends me updates as needed, and the car is ready when promised. Most importantly, the technicians fix the car properly the first time. Never have I had to bring the car back because something wasn't done right the first time.

I recently purchased a 2009 Mercedes C350 Sport from BMW of Tenafly. I pulled into the dealership late on a Saturday afternoon, around 5pm. Little did I know they close at 5pm. I planned on looking around and then coming back when they were open. As I was looking at the car a gentlemen walked up and asked if he could assist me. Once he found out that I had driven 70 miles he immediately went and got a salesmen. Paul was very courteous and took his time to make us comfortable with the car. After a 45 minute test drive we returned to the dealership to find Mr. Santiago still waiting to see if we needed any assistance. We left the dealership ay 7:30pm very impressed with the service. Over the next few days Paul stayed in constant contact with us as the vehicle was being serviced and paperwork was taken care of. There were a couple minor things wrong with the car that they had fixed no questions asked and they also registered the car in Texas for me, which is something they are not accustomed to. Overall my wife and I were very impressed and plan on purchasing our next vehicle through BMW of Tenafly.

BMW of Tenafly has horrible service with rude and unresponsive representatives. It's almost as if they intentionally try to make things inconvenient for you. Just as some background, we have leased 3 cars from BMW of Tenafly (previously Difeo) and ended up being disappointed even further each time. We did like the convenience of proximity of the dealership, but have found much better deals with dealers further away with larger inventory.One would think they would be more attentive to the concerns of repeat customers, but we will now avoid BMW of Tenafly due to their unapologetic and inattentive service. We will go to dealers much further away, at the very least, you can get a significantly better deal.

In the past when I had bought a car I always had the gut feeling that I could not trust the dealer/sales person... at BMW of Tenafly the opposite occurred. I bought my X3 with ease and comfort. I did not feel pressured and my time and thoughts were respected. It was by far the best expericne I had buying a car. THANK YOU!

Got my used car audi with 40,000 miles 2003 from Sean. He was ok. But less than a month, the dip stick broke,bought a new battery due to difficulty starting,and it is still not starting. rear window stopped working. It slides down halfway. When I got an email from John Viola that service will be due soon. He was kind enough to return call but I was out. Spoke to the secretary and relayed my issues. She came back and said that they would only cover the dip stick. The battery would have to be checked. Well that's not possible because it was disposed. Window is not covered. So be careful when they say warranty!!Its all talk. If they really check their cars properly.. this would not happen after a month.

I've been dealing with dealership since defio BMW! All staff members are great help I've recommended tenaflybmw to all family and friends! I just have 1issue on loaner vehicles. I currently own a 7 series and for a loaner I received a 3 series! My suggestion is owners of 5series on dwn receive 3 series and owners of 6&7 receive 5 series as loaners ! Still loving BMW NELL

Burt was a great sales person to work with. He was polite, low pressure and very accommodating to my and my wife's schedules. I purchased a used, non-BMW vehicle from Burt and things went well. The staff around Burt was friendly as well asking me if I needed coffee or water.I will say that Burt's manager, "V", wasn't particularly friendly. He only came over to talk business, and after the deal was inked did not come say hello or congratulations. In my experience, the manager is pretty friendly before and after car deals. However, this wouldn't stop me from buying from Burt again.Overall, I feel I was treated fairly and enjoyed my experience.

I was in the market for a used non-BMW vehicle. The sales person (Burt) was polite, calm and low pressure. He was willing to chat with us about our needs and easy to negotiate with. His manager, was a bit stand-offish. Once the deal was inked, didn't bother even coming over to say congratulations or look our way. Possibly because we weren't spending enough money? Not that big of a deal, but a little acknowledgement would go a long way on this review, so I have to just score them as 'average'.

Luis was very polite, and willing to answer any questions that I had and to help me choose the perfect car. He showed me many different color styles of cars, with different interior and packages. I got to test drive the car I wanted. He was extremely patient with me while I made decisions, and so very helpful. He knew all the answers to my questions about the vehicle I purchased and went out of his way to make my visit to the dealership extremely comfortable with no pressure. Drove in for an 06 mdx. The dealer knew we needed to drive for two hours to get there. Turns out the car computer was broken and he acted as if it was an issue that just turned up. Seats had cigarette burns. The internet description did not include this information and the manager "graciously" agreed to take $200 off for this "insignificant issue". I had to drive for four hours due to the lie of the sales consultant. Dont waste your time on this "prestigious" dealership.

***Long time BMW owner/driver...was looking for a 750IL...extremely hard to find in the tri-state...and broke from Greenwich/Pace BMW (service/price issues) to go to TENAFLY BMW...why? Because after talking with the Certified Pre-Owned Manager the one and only "V" Ramdess, I was impressed enough to take the trip......living in Stamford, CT it was extremely convenient...10 minutes off the bridge to Rockland..DEALER had an AMAZING collection of vehicles-BMW, Mercedes, etc....Paul Breitstein spent several hours with me on the hottest day of the summer test driving various vehicles...very straight forward on condition and price...free car fax across the board..came back for the 750IL on a Saturday just expecting to leave a deposit....wife wanted to go to Palisades for shopping...go figure...but the Tenafly team went to work (in the great PENSKE tradition)no pressure..."V" was straight forward with what they could do.....vehicle history provided...instant comp report provided (even though I already did my homework)..bottom line...we got the deal done same day...on a personal note...had a bad divorce and declared Bankruptcy in 2008...(don't ask)....BUT Glen DeFrancesco, ACE business manager, placed my loan at an extremely reasonable rate for 48 months....AMAZING...everybody stayed late that Saturday...until 7PM just to see the deal through...believe me the dealership does very well and they really did not have to stay...but they did...car was preped and picked-up for a great drive home. Had a minor issue with a pin hole leak in the radiator...you know how sensitive the sensors are...hands down...gave me a loaner and got the job done...and despite the issue of buying a vehicle in NJ and living in CT...the PENSKE group processed the paperwork and got my plates along with a refund check from the dealer (DMW fees were estimated)...who does that anymore? Now over 3 months of driving and absolutely NO problems with vehicle..I know 750IL out of warrenty...but it is a great car...and nothing beats the feeling of buying it from a genuine BMW dealer cause you want to beleive that they check the car out and will do the right thing...funny thing was...THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DID....all in all...I could have purchased the cheapest or most expensive vehicle there...and really was treated same - great...DMV papers sent FEDEX as a courtesy and all communication was extremely responsive throughout the process. Have already recommended the dealer to clients, friends and family and if you are reading this....don't waste your time shopping around....just go to Tenafly BMW...if they don't have the car you want...they will find it....as a BMW driver for over 30 years....I will say I found a new home for my car needs.....Thanks guys!!

I had the most pleasant experience dealing with Mike Lyubimov. I was initially attracted to the dealership by the lowest quoted price for the X3. Fortunately the low price didn't mean poor service. Mike worked with me selecting the options and stayed on top of transaction and in touch while I was waiting for the car delivery. The whole transaction was carried out over the phone/email which saved me tons of time. He even came to Manhattan to pick me up after work and drove back to the dealership to pick up the car. My husband and I were looking for a used vehicle. We found a 1998 Jetta online listed at BMW of Tenafly, NJ. We are from Philadelphia but our minds were set on this Jetta so we made the 2-hour drive to Tenafly.We met with the salesman Rick Young who told us every lie possible; however we did not know it at the time. When we test drove the car, my husband smelled oil burning. Rick told us we would smell burning oil because the oil had just been changed. Because that happened often with my husbands older car, we did not think it was anything to be concerned about. Issue #1.My husband brought up a few more concerns about the car but Rick assured us that the dealership is required to rigorously inspect each car before they can put it on the lot to sell. Ricks response was, The inspection is top-notch; its one of the benefits of buying from a dealership rather than buying from Joe down the street. Issue #2 Rick also told us that we had to pay PA sales tax, registration, tag and title fees to the dealership. He said they would forward that information on to the state of PA and we would get our title, plate and tags in the mail. Issue #3.When nothing came in the mail, we contacted our local tag office and they informed us that we should have never paid those fees or sales tax to the dealership. So we called an accountant at the dealer who decided it was easier to cut us a check for those fees and we should go ahead and pay for the sales tax and fees in PA since the temporary registration was soon expired. It has been three weeks and we have yet to receive the reimbursement check in the mail. We eventually got a hold of the accountant and he said it could be 4 weeks until we see the check. Why did he tell us that it was going to be in the mail the next week? Someone is making a profit off of our sales tax money. I am currently in contact with both the PA and NJ Attorney Generals about this particular issue, because it doesnt take much common sense to determine that this way of conducting business is not legal or acceptable. Once we received PA tags and registration, we took it to our mechanic to complete the PA inspection process. Apparently BMW of Tenaflys "rigorous inspection" is not that top-notch after all. To pass with the bare minimum requirements for PA State Inspection, we had to pay $1700.00 in repairs. Of course with an older car we expected to put money into it throughout the course of a few years, but NOT a few weeks.When we contacted the dealership wanting money for the repairs. The head sales manager told us that they could not pay for the repairs, but they would buy the car back. My husband and I did not think it would be a wise decision to return a car that is in better shape than when we bought it for so that the dealer can resell it at a higher price. We do understand their position on this and we were considering returning it because we just wanted it off of our hands. This manager also apologized for the salesman's claim that the car had passed an inspection process. We appreciate the apology (and acknowledgement of the salesman's lie), but the fact of the matter is this salesman did not know his product and was willing to say anything to create a false sense of security for any potential buyer.After a few more conversations with the head sales manager, we found out that he would only buy it back for the price BEFORE sales tax, tag, title and registration fees as well as the dealerships $369 processing fee.It seems as though their customer service is not that top-notch either. Is $1700 going to make a dent in their profits much less $369? No. The way BMW of Tenafly conducts their business is deceptive and unprofessional. Unfortunately for them, they have decided what a $1700 profit is worth. Yes, we bought a used car this one time. But when it comes time to purchase our BMW x5, I dont plan to step foot in BMW of Tenafly.In my opinion, they are frauds and Joe down the street is looking pretty good right about now.

I've been fortunate to have had many wonderful BMWs over the years, but last Saturday's visit to this dealership was, by far, the most enjoyable and stress-free car transaction ever. I thank Walter Borrmann and the staff for all they did to have us leave in our new 2011 335i x-drive (love the car, by the way), and to also enable us to return a 2008 BMW at lease end. We arrived late in the afternoon, and I fully expected we'd have to return the following week from Connecticut to pick up the new car or return the other vehicle. To our amazement, these folks worked quickly, and with humor, to get everything done so we would not be inconvenienced and need to make a return trip; Walter and others stayed late beyond closing time(on a Saturday)to conclude everything, go over the new car with us and program my phone. The deal was solid, most of it having been reviewed with Walter on the phone the day before. In addition, we received every courtesy in the inspection and return of the other car. It was all wonderfully convenient (no need to schedule a separate inspection for the car being returned) and positive. Walter was great throughout, both in going over car details and to just sit and chat with. We also salute his service. This is a very different dealership than I remember from a visit several years ago. The strong management and training really show. We also thank the gsm, Jeff Spilsbury, and Kim for her swift and competent document work.A great transaction and much fun in Tenafly. We look forward to seeing these guys again, and to future BMWs from them. Most highly recommended.

I was referred to BMW Tenafly and Michael from the member of the M3Post.com forum as the service and deals were fantastic. I am not a fan of dealerships and sales types who are all in your face (e.g. Audi). I last purchased a new car way back in 2000 and wanted my experience with Tenafly and Michael to resemble the my excellent adventures and times with Lexus.True to the claims was the fact that Michael does allow the car to sell itself. There was no pressure or second guessing from him on any of my choices or options. He just recorded what I wanted and gave me the best discount possible. He did have his usual car saleman pressure to close the deal by month end but he was mature to know the deal was going to be closed whether it was this month or the next.He provide the details on when the car was being built (not too many black jeerez M3 verts with fox red leather were in the states) and surprisingly, the car got to his dealership in 8 weeks from my first visit with him back in Feb.I asked him not to put the front license bracket on and then asked for the car not to be washed as I didn't want extra holes nor scratches. He assured me there would be no scratches and he was right.The closing and reviw of the car was perfect. Michael explained the specific particularities of the vehicle and with a full tank of gas, my brother and I were off.We ended up putting 200 miles on the car that evening.If time permits, I will go back to Tenafly for services or risk dealing with Edison BMW.

I've leased numerous vehicles before but I can honestly say this was the best experience yet, even though this was my first time in this dealership. From the first conversation with Mikhail Lyubimov till the pick up date the process went very smoothly and exactly as promised. I've done extensive research on the car and pricing prior to contacting Mike thus I came to him with an exact price in mind which he was able to meet beating out several other dealers I've spoken with. He was very proffesional and informative during the whole process as a result I did not waste time on unnecessary negotiations and was able to order the car during the first visit. He kept me uptodate as the car was being build and called me as soon as it was at the dealership within the originaly promised timeframes. The pickup went also very smoth without any surprises or preassure for any extras - it was a pleasure dealing with other people at the dealership including the fincance dept who clearly explained the whole transaction. In addition to the new lease I was returning my old car, where he was very dillegent in inspecting it and quickly explained the process and the exact costs I would be responcible for which was very important and allowed me to make the proper decision. Upon the vehicle return the costs were exactly identical as was originally promised.Overall dealing with Mike allowed me to save money, time and get a great car -- As a result he has definetelly earned a return customer for the future.!

I recently bought a certified pre-owned BMW from BMW of Tenafly. The transaction was largely done over the phone and by e-mail because I was buying from out-of-state. The transaction was relatively painless, and the car was as-adertised. The price was very competitive. The dealership is large and spacious and in a nice, quiet town. My salesperson, Paul, and the Finance person, Glenn, walked me through the deal, explained the features of the car and all of my finance options. There was no pressure on me to buy any "extras" - they have all of the extras if you want them, but I didn't. Follow-up after the sale has been good, even though they know it's unlikely that I'll be going down there anytime soon. They handled getting the car registered in CT too.

I had a wonderful experience at BMW of Tenafly. I originally went in looking for a new car, but ultimately decided on a 2008 Certified Pre-Owned X5. I've never been to this dealership but the moment I stepped in, I felt the friendliness of the environment. We were immediately greeted w/ a wonderful smile and every employee I passed seemed so pleased to see me. The place was impeccably clean! And, the showrooms were huge! You can walk around and check out each vehicle w/ no pressure at all! I found the car I liked although I really liked all of them but can only afford just one. Kudos to Burt who stayed with us all throughout the transaction. It went so smoothly that I was floored when I learned I could take the car home that day! My husband already knows where to get his!

This is my second BMW lease with difeo. My previous salesperson, Bruce, was no longer at the dealership so I worked with Angelo. Angelo is great to work with. He's not pushy, he is patient, and he is thorough in his search for the right car. His follow up is excellent. He returns phone calls and he has answers.I took my time deciding on the right car at the right price. Angelo walked the lot with me a couple times, had cars brought up from off site lots, and I felt he would do anything I asked to help me decide which car to lease.By the end of the day Saturday I selected the car I wanted and Angelo got me within $5/month of the deal I wanted. Is it a great deal? Don't know, but it feels great to me and ileft the dealership happy. With Angelo's help I was able to turn in my previous lease and walk out with a new one in a couple of hours.All said, I am happy with Difeo and happy to work with Angelo. As long as I am leasing BMWs, I will shop at Difeo.

Had a flat tire and went to go get it fixed; it came back with the SAME tire on and the flat tire sign still coming on after about 20 minutes. Dominick wasn't helpful; we asked for a loaner car the day before and never got one the next day. TERRIBLE.

Burt Achrekar was very helpful, friendly,knowledgeable and showed me a varity of cars to choose from. I finally decided on a 2008 528 xi and was prepared to drive it home on the day of my visit. However, we hit a little snag. After receiving my trade allowance,(which in my opinion was very low) Burt and I agreed on the price I was willing to pay. I was ready to close the deal when Burt returned to me and said his boss wanted $1000.00 more than we agreed to because the car was priced right. Well needless to say my wife and I were upset and left without purchasing the car. About five to ten minuets later my cell phone rang it was Burt. He said they were willing to split the difference, $500.00.If I didn't like Burt and the car I was ready to refuse the offer. For what it's worthSalespersons should not be place in a position that they can not close the deal. I've been a salesperson for a long time and know for a fact that a Salesperson has room to close the deal. Again, if I didn't like the car and the salesperson, I was out of there. Other than the above, I would recommend this dealership and hope the next person doesn't go through what I did.

This is second time. I hope that after first complaint, they are nice and kind. But that is just my hope.For 4 years, I have been dealing with the BMW of Tenafly and spent $100,000 for two new BMW X5 and addtional services because they promised the best services. When a service person lied to my family about the first new BMW X5 handling problem, my family standed for his rudeness and didn't complain.But not this time. I think that the BMW of Tenafly never want to listen to client's complaint.Today my 9 month-old BMW X5 2011 has not only a flat tire but also a screeching brakes, a loosened knob for cruise system,and a navigation system off by itself, so I went to the BMW of Tenafly and told to my sales person, Bruce Lee about my BMW X5 2011 problems.Three months ago, my BMW X5 2011 already has been repaired because a seat belt and air conditioner was not working, and secure bolts for safety under the seat were missing. When I Spoke seriously to him about it, he didn't want to listen to me but kept checking cell phone and did texting. So I toned up my voice.At that time, the other sales person, Susie Kang did rudely interrupt me. She compelled me to stop complaint. I can't put up with her rude behavior. So I asked her why she did. she didn't respond but wilfully ignore my question. I think it is impolite to interrupt and ignore the speaker. If they don't want client's complaint, they should provide services of good quality and sell high-quality goods like the BMW with an excellent reputation.I think the BMW of Tenafly is not cheapest dollar store but very luxury company. So the BMW of Tenafly need more polite and elegant employees. These untrained sales person like Bruce Lee and Susie Kang cannot provide good service to their customer. They will force not to return the BMW of Tenafly. At least I hope I meet trained employees at the BMW of Tenafly next time.

We bought a 2008 CPO BMW 535xit in January of 2011 from BMW of Tenafly, driving over 250 miles from New Hampshire. This dealership had an excellent selection of cars, including the model and options that we wanted and had been looking for over the past several months. Our salesperson was Sean Mohammed. He was very professional, easy to work with, and did not pressure us at all. He was patient even when my wife said she wanted to test drive the car a second time. When there was a discrepancy between the internet price and the price on the window sticker at the dealer, he made sure we got the lower internet price. We also dealt with Jose Santiago in the Finance Department. He was also great to work with, explaining the options and incentives along with the advantages and disadvantages of each. During the four hour drive from NH to NJ, I was wondering how the experience of essentially buying a car over the internet would go and had some concerns, but those concerns were quickly put to rest. I think we were driving our new (used) CPO BMW out of the dealer and back to NH a little over two hours after we arrived. The price was great also. Our local BMW dealer in NH that leased us our 2008 X5 was also good to deal with, but had only limited interest in finding us a CPO 535xit to buy. I will certainly be checking with BMW of Tenafly when I look for a CPO BMW for myself in the next year or so (the 535xit is for my wife). Philip BradleyConcord, NH

I have done business with this dealership before, and I was most impressed with Mikhail 'Mike'. We were able to work out a great deal (BMW of Tenafly always does), and he was most pleasant to deal with. He is on top of EVERYTHING. By that I mean he responded to all of my e-mails and phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner. He even dealt with my insurance agent directly making sure the process to have the car insured went smoothly. And when I couldn't get a ride to the dealership, he picked me up at my door. Now that is service! I have brought many referrals to BMW of Tenafly, and I will continue to do so. The Sales, Service and Management departments have treated me like an invaluable customer. Customer service is too much bad. Upon asking him about service, he lied to me. When I complained of his attitude, he sneered me and my wife. So My wife wanted to get a manager phone number and the other complaint phone number, he told my wife that he couldn't give any phone numbers and whenever she wants to complain about him, she has to visit him in person. He did not give me any documents for my loaner car. So, I requested documents for my loaner car and then finally I could have it. It is so hard to get any documents from that dealer. Too a horrible day and dealer!!

Looking for an 07 328xi. They had one advertised at a lower price (they say because it was not a cpo). I traveled from Ct to Tenafly to see this vehicle, they told me that they had a lot of other great deals because it was the last day of the month. When I got there I'm told that the car was sold, then that it was available, and then again that it was sold. I did not see anything else comparable in value as the vehicle that was advertised. What they did is pull a bait and switch on me. You are warned stay away from this dealer.

I walked into the dealership to talk about purchasing a new X6 at the end of my current lease. I was greeted by the receptionist and I told her I did not have an appointment but I wanted to talk to someone. She called several sales people who were at their cubicles and visible. All of them declined to come to the front or to talk to me about the purchase. After ten minutes of her trying to get someone I told her that it was okay that I can go to another dealership. They have no customer service and were very unwelcoming.

This dealer has a habit of listing vehicles on eBay as "No Reserve" auctions, only to cancel the sale when they feel like the vehicle's winning bid is too low. Total BS! Total lack of integrity. Should be stripped of BMW dealership. in my case, they canceled the sale, claiming the vehicle was already sold. I called, gave them the VIN, and Shawn (a sales rep) stated the vehicle is still available for sale at $8,495!!

I was about to lease my new 2011 750Li xdrive from a different dealership, but before I did so, I decided to see if my last BMW salesman Angelo Guerriero, was still in the business. After picking up my wfie's 2008 X3 from Angelo, at a different dealership, he left. After tracking him down to BMW of Tenafly, I called him and went to see him. Angelo was still very knowledgeable, polite, always had and still has an abundance of patience (which you need dealing with me), and with all these credentials, he still gave me a great deal.I was over the time frame on my present lease (2008 750Li), but still wanted to wait for the camera package on the the new car, that was not available due a shortage of parts. Since BMW only lets you extend your lease for a total of 6 months, time was very important.Angelo, put me into my new great car, much earlier then anticipated and with all the options I wanted. I was very happy to find him, and of course his new dealership, BMW of Tenafly. Angelo and the dealership were great in working out a deal that was satisfactory to me.Although, I have had no previous experience with this dealship, everyone seems to be couteous, helpful and makes you feel you came to the right place.I did not get any pressure what so ever to make a deal, which makes me more respectful towards Angelo and his new home, BMW Of Tenafly.To show you how much confidence I have in Angelo and BMW OF Tenafly, I left a deposit on the new 2011 X3, which has not been released yet.Thank you for a great experience.

The staff is extremely courteous, the dealership is peaceful and calm (unlike some dealerships that I visted that were extreme chaos) and the service that I received from Angelo was top notch. He was patient, worked with meeting my budget and I was still able to walk out with the car of my choice. Angelo is very attentive. In the six - eight weeks it took to receive my car he called me twice to let me know the status of my vehicle and expected delivery. When it arrived, he took the initiative to contact my insurance company and get all my paper work squared away. Angelo was efficient, super friendly and a pleasure to do business with. Make sure to ask for him when you visit the dealer!A just a quick note about the Business Manager Glenn - he's the one who finalizes your purchase and the true salesman that he is, tries to get you to purchase some additional options. Very friendly guy and great at his job - he convinced me to get tire insurance. I signed the papers and walked out of the dealership, but after talking with my fiance, I decided I didn't need it. Angelo noticed my stressed expression and walked me back to Glenn's office where Glenn agreed to redo my very lengthy paperwork without any hesitation or funny looks. Glenn was very efficient and a really cool guy to work with. Usually those finance guys are all numbers, but Glenn complemented the wonderful experience I had at BMW of Tenafly.

Tenafly BMW was not the lowest offer among all the BMW dealerships I had contacted in the region, but somehow I felt more connected because of the people there. My sales, Michael Lyubimov, quickly responded to my internet request, closely followed up with phone calls, emails and meetings to work with me to find my dream car, patiently took all my questions and queries to close the deal, and provided extra support on the things like insurance, registration, etc. So I trust my car will be in good hands for the coming years!

Robert Ryan is efficient and goes out of his way to get the job done. He is also a very pleasant person to deal with. I have noticed a big change in the overall dealership over the past couple of years. It used to be less organized, and at times, chaotic. Now the service is more efficient.

These types of websites are usually forums for blowing off steam about negative experiences (I've had my share at this dealership) -- the great employees are never rewarded; and it seems like nothing is ever done to rectify the negative situations/bad employees. That said, this comment is to give huge props to Assistant Service Manager, Robert Ryan. He is an exemplary customer service rep who is as compassionate and gracious as anyone Ive ever come across. His concern is genuine and sincere. He is time-sensitive and deadline-aware. In my experience, no matter how many things he's juggling on a given day, he's always made me feel as if delivering my car back to me to my satisfaction is among his top priorities. I consider myself extremely fortunate that he was randomly assigned to me. But, anyone who requires BMW service should insist on only seeing Bob -- he gets it.

I was very happy with the service and deal that I made with BMW of Tendafly today. I had a pre-owned 2004 325xi that was due back in l year. The car was getting old with more service needs that were not covered. Angleo worked hard to make me a deal within my price range for a new car lease that I was looking for. I had gone to the dealership two times previously to try to make a deal, but no one tried as hard as Angelo to make it work. Tony Arciniaga the sales manager made it happen with the numbers so I could afford the car.

In August of 2009, I purchased a used 2008 Honda CRV EX-L which I saw listed on the internet. The loan rate was excessive, but I took it just to drive away from the dealer with the car, but my credit union quoted me a much lower rate. When we settled on the price ($1,000 less than the advertised price), they assured me that was the only figure that changed on the paperwork. However, they changed some of the costs (upward, of course). This was later resolved with repayment checks. At the closing, I was given the booklets and one key. Bernie promised that the spare key and the valet would be sent to me. Since that time I have written e-mails to Bernie and Cliff Lang, Sales Manager, and neither person answered my question as to when these keys would be sent to me. It is now December and I still have no keys!

It was a great experience working with Kris and Glenn and they are very helpful and friendly. I got what I want and even offered me everything what I need. Yes I did purchase my new BMW because of the detailed information I got from Kris. The road test was a great experience too as Kris explained to me all the features and details of the car. I understand that the car is too complicated due to advance features but Kris made it easier for me. Kris have even given spared his time the following day to continue the explanation and showing me all the features of my new BMW 2010 X5.It was an awesome experience indeed and I will highly recommend him to all my friends who is willing to buy a BMW vehicle.Kudos to Kris and Glenn for a job well done!

Great transaction Until it was time to close the deal with the registration fail to do it within 30 day and refuse to provide a 2nd Temporary plate which is allow by NJ DMV, I even send an email with copy of the law an nj dmv website an customer service to confirm this law. I was only giving the option to stop driving until the were able to register the car or keep driving with the expire registration which is Illegal in NJ. I am still waiting for my registration an not able to drive. I will only said be carefull who you deal with and more carefull with BMW of Tenafly.

I was looking to purchase a CPO 2007 328i/xi first of all they take you to cpo sales area and show you cars with cpo stickers on the windshields, then they tell you they are not cpo you have to pay 2,300.00 to have them certify them for you. Also don't respect customers asking questions like where do live you what kind of car you drive. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They let me leave wanting to purchase a vehicle which i saw over a 2300.00 gimmick!!!!!!! I'll take my business elsewhere............folks where is our country heading!!!!!!

It's a circus with clowns for sales people and a crazy general manager running the store as a candy shop. Not the same place it used to be, they change their sales staff as if they were a pair of socks. I went in to look at a 5 series since my lease was comming due. Unfriendly sales staff and management. Especially the clown with the upside down smile MICHAEL ELRICH and George, his manager. When I got a car for my wife a year ago, there were new faces but at least they knew what they were doing and were accomodating. I dont mind paying more for a car when I know I will be taken care of. I refuse to buy a car from these clowns. PS they also have salesman who can't even speak english. I had to repeat myself 4 times before a short clown with a bad suit got someone else to answer me

I took my car in because there was a noise coming from the front wheel. I wanted it checked out. Two hours later, I was told there was a nail in the tire, and it could not be repaired. I needed a new tire. Also, my two front wheels were bent badly and needed to be changed. All this would cost approximately $1100. I did not believe them so I took my car home. At home, I saw the "nail", which was really a half inch FLAT screw just sitting in the tread. I took it out myself. It had not even penetrated the tire.Then I took the car to my mechanic, who upon inspection, found NOTHING wrong with the wheels. Finally I went to another dealership, who also confirmed that my wheels were just fine. Difeo just wanted to do all this work, when there was really just the "screw" that was making the noise in the first place.A year before that, I took my car to Difeo to remove a scratch and to paint the car. I was told not to wash the car for a week. Two weeks later, it still did not look right, so I took it back to DiFeo only to find out that the service writer just lied about the paint job. They only buffed the scratch and never painted it at all, although they did charge me for it.I have 3 BMW's, which were always serviced at Difeo,but they will NEVER be seen at DiFeo again. They run a DISHONEST service department. They have lost my business forever.

We are still in disbelief at the fact that a manager allowed us to walk away from a lease renewal after years of doing business with them. I felt uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. This was not the same place we knew. I remember a time when others would come sooner and greet us as family. What would it take to make a few steps to a customer and show you care? Whatever happened to the old pros of customer service such as Ed Moore and Mohamed? I suppose those who helped to make this dealership what it is, or let's say, what it was when they were there, will not longer come back, and maybe the old customers will not either. Who knows? With competition at a high, how many customers can this dealership afford to lose? Treat the customer with respect and get organized! Prevalent confusion, deficient service, uncaring attitudes. How things have changed! Maybe someone will see the light and retrain some of the staff before the competition sweeps them away. This dealership is definitely not consumer friendly. Stay away.

Another horrible experience with Difeo. I went in to have my front brakes changes including rotors and they only changed the bad. The rotors were not changed as the rotor edges had the same "lip" as when I brought the car in. New rotors do not have any "lip" on the edges.

I found that the service writers had lied about when the car would be finished and they never completed what needed to be done. Their response to phone calls was non existant. I would never return to this dealership, nor would I recommend them. Specifically the service dept.

brought my car from deifeo in 2003 got a good price, and then after my first oil change service the car went to hell, i started to think that they stip my car for parts and replace with broken parts. after about 2 years i went to another service center and my car has been running good since, i have also thought about taking difeo to court for there sabatage jobs on my car.

STAY AWAY from the service department; very incompetent (especially CF). I had brought my car in for a diagnosis of the service soon indicator only to receive the car back with the indicator reset I told that was no problem only to see the service indicator light back on the next day. Besides all this hassle, they also dented my car which I did not notice until it was too late, of course.

I brought my E46 325i to DiFeo, the dealership where I purchased the car, for routine service many times will poor results. Constant complaints about klunking and noise in the front end were met with "Could not duplicate." Stumbling idle, driveability, and CHECK ENGINE light issues could not be fixed despite constant complaints with every trip to the service department. The crappy HVAC system refused to respond to inputs despite two fixes. The last straw was a puddle of oil under my car after an oil change that was covered by the free maintenance plan. I was charged for an oil filter cap o-ring that the previous tech had managed to damage as well as labor to replace it.JMK fixed all the outstanding issues. Front control arms and bushings were spotted immediately by Difeo without any prompting from me. They also found the defective cam position sensors that caused the drivability problems and a faulty exterior air temp sensor that was screwing up the HVAC.DiFeo answered phone calls, returned messages, and gave me loaner cars but all that stuff is worthless if thay cannot fix the cars. Their service department represents everything that is wrong with BMW North America.

I bought my car from here and had no problems since my salesperson was an idiot. Good thing for me since i got the car real cheap. I'm sure he isn't working there anymore. He sold me a car and then the manager who approved it noticed that there were two options on the car that he failed to charge me. Good for me right? Lets talk about service. I had problems with my electrical when I first got the car 2001 540i. Took them forever and Joe never called me back. It was always me who had to call him for a status on my car. He told me once yes pick it up in an hour, I will call you back to confirm the car is ready. 3 hours later and still no phone call and I was about to go up there and pick it up. It took me about 25 minutes to get up there. I did get in contact with him to tell me that the car isn't ready and won't be until the next day which pissed me off. Other than that I haven't really had a bad time there except for the last time when it took the service doofus 30 minutes to go retrieve my car. I was hoping it was stolen. Since it took so long, my service rep ran over and got the car washed. One thing nice about difeo is that they always wash the car. The cashier kept calling for them to pick up my car but no one ever did and so my service rep then ran and retrieved my car. I have never had a problem with loaner cars since i do go there early in the morning. As for the wait for a loaner car which is usually three weeks, I'm not suprised since my mercedes takes sometimes 6 weeks. They are much much much better than JMK BMW which i'm having a horrible time with right now. I only went to JMK since i moved further down south. I think a hour and 15 minute drive to get serviced at difeo is better than JMK any day. after being on this site damn all dealers seem to suck one way or another huh?

If you have hours and days to waste, take your car to DiFeo in Tenafly. It's guaranteed that if you need to have a problem checked and/or fixed, it will take several visits - and several days each visit - to get the problem taken care of. All this trouble and Loaner Cars at NOT easily available. Horrible experience, but at least they "smile" while they waste your time.

Purchased my car from here because many others had recommended it. Service dept is fairly friendly, and if you ask, you can go into shop and talk to the tech working on your car.<br><br>They supposedly sponsor several BMW CCA (NJ Chapter) events here, including tech sessions.<br><br>Customer service is quite good, they all try to please customers. I believe they can do better, though.<br><br>Hard to get a bimmer loaner, only 30 BMW cars avail for loaners. Sometimes you'll end up going through Enterprise Rentals that has an office onsite.
