Tony Gazetti was great and fair to work with. Honest throughout the whole process, and the price he quoted me on email was literally dead on to what I signed the contract for, and that you can't put a price on. I can't tell you how many times I get the run around on email from salesman just to get into the door. My experience with Bowman was great, I will likely be using Tony and Bowman again soon.

Tom follows up on what he says and is a very pleasant gentleman to work with. I would ask for him again. The pre-owned car we purchased was a good deal based upon all our research prior to the day we purchased. Only fault was the car was not very clean, gas tank was only 1/2 full upon delivery and the bracket around the passenger mirror/light on visor wasn't fixed until we purchased and had to go back 2 days later to have it done. However when I did take it back for the fix I was in and out in 23 minutes!! Hands down, a much better dealership than one we had visited in Troy, where they treated us horribly. Our 45 minute drive there was well worth the effort! THANKS Tom. Rose and Gerald

As a long-time Chrysler dealer employee, it was an unusual experience to be in a Chevrolet dealership leasing a car a few years ago. Ashley Putnam had treated us well for that transaction, so as lease end was approaching, I naturally asked for her to explain my turn in options, not expecting to be leasing another Chevy. Surprise, she made a deal I could not refuse on a new Malibu- she is great, as is everyone in service ( including the shuttle driver!) and sales. Couldn't be happier with the team at Bowman.

Sales Manager Joe Jackson has some Rockstar sales professionals with Carrie Strickland, Tony Gazetti and Tom Schaefer. All of them are 5 STAR. My experience started back about August 15th. I online chatted with 3 dealerships, (using their websites), in the area for a couple of reasons; 1. I have a 2011 GMC Terrain that I can proudly say I have 202,000 miles on and needed to start looking for a just in case vehicle; and 2. being new to the area I needed to find a new one-stop-shop dealership. My request was to email me some lease and purchase quotes on several vehicles, as I didn't have time to run to dealership to dealership and get caught up in the minutiae of calls, test drives etc. Carrie Strickland was my initial contact online Customer Care Consultant, a polite and professional individual; the kind every dealership should have as a first impression contact.Bowman sales professionals Tony Gazetti (New Car) and Tom Schaefer (Used Car) were who I worked with. Tony did not hesitate to provide me a detailed breakdown of new car options without even getting anymore information than my email at that point. He was the person who got me in the door. We talked about many options including a multi-vehicle lease/buy solution at my request. Tony even reminded me (over the phone while heading to another dealership) about the if it sounds too good... He was right.Enter stage right Tom Schaefer. My plan took somewhat of a turn as I was constantly checking Bowman's inventory, and found a sharp 2014 Cadillac ATS. Took for a test drive on Friday. Slept on it, and then went and purchased it on Saturday. Now Tom is a funny... humorous not strange... guy, but when it came down to getting everything processed prior to closing; he came through.Bowman has been great in follow-up emails as well. I will be back to see the new car group very soon to get the second vehicle through a lease. Looking forward to the experience. Steve H.

I was able to tell Justin what I wanted over the phone and setup an appointment to come in and test drive the vehicle, we went over the pricing and options then came back the following Monday to pick up the vehicle. I live in Westland and was told about Bowman Chevy by a family member who lives in Milford. I called the salesman, Justin Thrift, and told him what I was looking for. To my amazement he found what I was looking for, gave me a call and made the sale. I would drive another 50 miles, which I plan as soon as the lease is up, and purchase again. The Bowman sales family made me feel like I knew everyone for years. The knowledge that Justin had about the vehicle was so helpful, I'd still be figuring it out if it wasn't for his explanations. Trying to purchase a new vehicle should be an exciting experience. Due to the dealerships issue with using the wrong vin number for a title a one or two day tops transaction was drug out for almost three weeks. Not until we were ready to walk away from the deal was even the suggestion of getting a vehicle to replace this from another dealership offered as an option and even then the dealership did not contact the other dealerships. They intended to make us wait for six to eight weeks for a new title to be received from the state. All the while, we are paying insurance on a new vehicle that we do not have. Their lack of interest in rectifying the mistake that was clearly caused by their dealership was proof enough for both me and my boyfriend to take our business elsewhere. Funny thing is within one hour we had a vehicle from someplace else. (same make and model mind you) Avoid this dealership at all costs. They need retraining in customer care and service.

Another dealership gave me a price quote but when I said no, then they offered me a lower deal. I don't like to have to go back and forth trying to get the best deal when it could have been offered to me in the first place. I went to Bowman and saw Tony Gazetti who had already emailed me a quote which was much less than the other dealerships lowest quote. Tony was great to work with and even got my husband a great deal on a Silverado. You won't be disappointed if you see Tony.

I have bought Many cars in my lifetime and would always tell the salesman what payment I could afford,but they never seemed to come close and I would end up spending way more then I wanted to. For many years I've purchased used cars because I hated dealing with salesmen. Dom Damkoehler has made the experience not only bearable, but enjoyable. I had an eye on a used vehicle, but asked about the economics of leasing a new car. Dom explained clearly and succinctly, with enough humor added to make our discussion a conversation instead of a sales pitch. I am an anal-retentive engineer who had never purchased/leased a new vehicle. I was very apprehensive (did I mention I am also a tight wad who hates spending money?). John Burnicle was a straight shooter, gave me a great price, and didn't play any of the old school used car sales games. When the first truck they had didn't have one of the options I needed, they didn't do any high pressure tactics to get me to take one they had on the lot, they simply went to work and found me one that exactly fit what I wanted. this dealership was not that great. I'm looking for my first new truck cause I'm tired of being stuck in snow,sliding on ice, not have any room for my Tools and hockey equipment in a Chevy cruze ( great gas mileage by the way). I did an inquiry on a new 2016 black chevy Silverado. I got to the dealership 10 minutes so I can find the truck and take a look before I went in for my 3:15 appointment.i couldn't find the truck but it was fine so I walk in the dealership and there was no one at the front desk but I did find a salesperson that did tell me that the salesperson I had my appointment with was with other customers and told to wait so I waited for a few minutes never show up so I got in my car and left. I really shouldn't be treated likes this but I understand that people are busy with other customers that are older and have more money than me. So I will continue my search and maybe give them a second chance

Bought a car - for the first time from an A level dealership - last night at Bowman...Spent a week and a half in contact with Priscilla and Jim about the 2009 HHR I was interested in. They were always VERY speedy with responses and gave me all the information I needed to feel confident making a purchase.Yesterday Jim gathered all my information early to get the process started, and since I was unable to get to the dealership until almost 6p (I live over an hour from Clarkston), we expedited a few things...Everyone I interacted with was very friendly, helpful, and treated me with respect. They had computer issues and there was a chance that I was going to have to come back in the morning to complete the paperwork; however, Jim was able to have someone coming from a sister dealership down the road print up my paperwork and deliver it - he even offered to have me picked up and brought OVER AN HOUR to the dealership the next day, had that been necessary. Overall, I could not have been more happy with the experience and so far I adore my new to me car!!

She got the paperwork done as soon as possible, went and sat with me in the car and explained everything to me. She and Joe Jackson took very good care of me and answered all my questions. They took their time with me, as I am in my 60's and really did not understand all the new computer updates on the car. I first meet Justin in August and we talked at that time about a new truck. I couldn't pull the trigger at that time, even though Justin put together a great deal.I sent an inquirer through the Bowman Website and that I was interested in the Silverado and that I had dealt with Justin in August. He called me the next day and I told him what I was looking for and what I had seen on the website, and sure enough he said we could do something. I then explained that we were looking to replace my wifes car as we were selling it to my daughter who had just been in a car accident, so we were actually thinking two cars. He put together a deal where we paid only $30 more on two new vehicles than on the one that we are selling to my daughter and he got it done that day.Awesome experience with him and the whole dealership!

The purchase experience was good except for numerous interuptions and the paperwork not being ready. They did get a lower down payment price after learning the bed liner increased the residual value. I am disappointed they did not install the plugs in the bed liner that cover the tie down hooks, they put them in the console.

I was very underwater in a long-term loan on a Chevy Cruze. Joe and Candy bent over backwards to get me out of my loan and into a lease; just what I wanted. Joe contacted me and said he could potentially get me into a Chevy Volt, almost 20k dollars more of a car than my Cruze would have ever been. In the end, when it looked like I couldn't even lease a car cheaper than the Cruze because of how underwater I was on my loan, they pulled through and got me into one of the best cars I've driven, saving me per month on my payments and saving me hundreds on gas! The best part, I was in my vehicle the very next day! I was able to email Candy everything she needed. I came in, signed some papers and within an hour I was driving away in my new Volt! The best! My 2005 Equinox and I had been together for almost ten years, and recently I had been going back and forth about trading it in for a newer model, I am not so good with change. The past few years I've had to put money into getting it fixed, and truthfully I put more into it two years ago to fix it, than I will pay in a year for a lease payment, thanks to Candy. My roommate made an appointment with Candy for Thursday and by the time she got home she was telling me all kinds of great things. Now this is a huge thing because this doesn't happen often she comes home raving about someplace. I am very glad that my roommate filled me in and I tagged along with her Friday when she picked up her new truck. I watched the way that Candy worked with my roommate through her truck lease, and the way she was able to explain things and was very impressed...enough that I came back on Monday and got myself a new Chevy Equinox. I wasn't really in the market for a new vehicle but my 2010 Silverado was getting up in miles, it wasn't a 4 wheel drive, and come to find out it was holding great trade-in value so I first started shopping online. I was able to test several scenarios for cars and payments with leading options with real estimates before I ever stepped into the dealership. Then I rode by to see a few things I liked online and came across a Camaro SA 1LE. Summit White with the black wheels! Had to have it. But I was in the market for a truck replacement, preferably an AWD vehicle. Long story short, I submitted a request to Rachael, the online rep. She connected me with Candy Collins, the best of the bestest (if that's a word) salespeople and the process to get the Camaro went smoothly. I had tons of questions and not once was she annoyed or sound like she was hiding something. They gave me good value for my truck and I ended up leasing a Trax for a very good price to handle the cold dreary days! I usually HATE the sales process and do t really like to deal with salespeople but this really, genuinely felt different. Doug, the sales manager, greeted me warmly and we talked classic Chevy cars and just had a great discussion about the Camaro and the upkeep and care, etc. I'd definitely recommend Bowman to anyone and Candy Collins is A1. Came in on her day off for delivery and just an all around nice person. Last but not least, I had my Silverado serviced there and had nothing but the best experience there! Aimee is great! He found a Demo car that he was able to discount enough to make the payments something I was happy with. He patiently answered all of my questions and took the time to drive me out to the storage lot so that I could see the model that I wanted in the various colors that were in stock. The lease estimates that he provided at my first visit turned out to be very close to the final figures. Bowman gave me a very good trade in on my 2012 Malibu. They also honored all discounts including the surprise $1,000 voucher that popped up when I was on the Chevy.com website the night before I picked up the car. Rocco had all of the paper work ready when I picked up the new car. Absolutely no hassles. I went into Bowman Chevy on 7/25/15 after a dentist appt. to just see what my options were for pulling ahead my 2013 Silverado lease To my absolute amazement my sales rep. Kirk Fields had a replacement 2015 Silverado in stock that exceeded everything I was looking for, was able to put me in this vehicle 5 days later with a payment that was much lower than I had anticipated! Kirk could tell what I was looking for in a vehicle just by seeing what I was already driving and by just a few quick questions. Kirk took care of talking to my insurance company and worked out my plate transfer. All I had to do was show up on Wed. 7/29/15, sign some papers, make my first month payment and I drove out of there in my new 2015 Ocean Blue Silverado which I absolutely LOVE! I walked into Bowman Chevrolet after my 14-year old Corolla died about 5 days earlier. I had done a little online research, and talked to several people. I largely knew what to expect. But I was assigned to Ashley Putnam as my sales agent, and she was extremely helpful. She asked about the cars I've owned, what I liked about them, and any specific things I would NOT want in a car. That was a GREAT question, and I am sure it helped her out in finding a specific vehicle for me. I was interested in the Cruze and the Trax. Ashley had the Bowman team work out a plan for lease and for purchase. I ended going for the lease option. She was able to save me about $25 a month on a lease by getting me a car in inventory that did not have a touchscreen display/controller -- which I had told her I wasn't really interested in. I've had the car for two weeks now and am quite happy. Ashley Putnam was helpful, cheerful, pleasant, and gave me a lot of her time to get me set up and into my car.

I was left waiting 2 hours... no one came to update me on the progress of my vehicle, but I assumed they were working on it. I eventually had to find someone to speak to in the service department for an update, only to find out that they didn't even have the part for my common repair. When did they know this? It took two hours after my scheduled appointment to inform me that they weren't working on my car at all that day? Considering the circumstances, one would expect immediate service the next day. Nope. No call. I needed to track them down for information again. When I did, they didn't guarantee my car until the end of the day (6PM). I didn't realize it takes 9 hours to change a light bulb.

We went to Bowman In August to get a new Traverse.We talked to Sam Mona and he told us about the deal on a Silverado. We ended up with a new Silverado.Then in November we went back to see Sam and ended up leasing a new Traverse. Then in April we went back to see Sam and ended up ordering a new corvette. Sam kept us up on the building of our corvette as it went down the line in Bowling Green Ky. The car came in sooner then we wanted it. Sam kept it stored for us until we were ready to take delivery. My wife hit a deer and had her car sent to Bowman for service.It took 3 weeks to fix a front right quarter panel and a windshield.The paint didn't exactly match, and there was small glass shards still on the front seat from the windshield. My wife actually cut herself one morning by wiping her seat off for our daughter.It seems like if they give you a loaner, then they take forever, and make you feel like you are being rude for asking for your car back.They were polite, but the quality and timeliness of the work wasn't acceptable.Don't use the body shop here... find another dealer or private body shop.

After being verbally quoted a "out the door" price, when I arrived with my CASHIERS check, the price was almost $1000,00 dollars more. My family have been Suburban buyers, both sons drive one as well as me. I also have a Camaro and my three adult children and their spouses all drive GM vehicles. This is the 4th Suburban I have purchased from Bowman and I will never make another purchase from Bowman Chevrolet, nor will any of my family. I just leased a 2015 Malibu LT and it is a great car with many features! I love the Malibu's and am giving my 2006 Malibu to my daughter. The discounts were great, the lease terms and coverage are better than I could have ever expected, and the car is fantastic, with many features - I took the 3 year lease. My Buick Verano lease was ready to mature and I needed to get another vehicle. I really just wanted another Verano but GM was not offering any incentives on Buick's right now. So, at the last minute I decided to go to Bowman. I was surprised to find that I liked the Malibu and the incentives were great. But, because it was a last minute change on my part I could not decide which vehicle color/options I wanted and I had a lease deadline to meet. Bowman went out of their way to work with me and make sure that I got the vehicle I wanted. Andrew Gentges was my sales person. He spent three hours with me on my first visit and then (after much difficulty) found three different vehicles at other dealerships for me to choose from so I could make my final decision. The whole time I was working with Andrew, there was no time pressure applied on me my Bowman (even though my lease was about to expire) to make a decision and it was obvious their whole goal was to make sure that they put me in a vehicle I would be happy with. And, last but not least, when it was time to pick up my vehicle they made sure I was comfortable with all the features and made sure I knew how everything worked! All in all, a wonderful buying experience!

Bought a used car from JP who did a great job. Quick transaction, no real issues and feel I got a deal that fit into my budget. Only thing I would say from a customer service standpoint that would have made this a 5 across the board would have been that the car was washed and had a full tank of gas. Also, the right rear turn signal was out and had to be replaced. Not a huge deal at all, but like I said - would have made this a 5 had those things been done.

Just leased a new 2014 Silverdo and what a truck it is. The entire process was very streamlined with 45 minutes from start to finish with Dom as my salesman. The majority of the time was going over the truck features due to the extent of all of the stuff in this 2014 model. Drove from Clarkston to Rochester and home to Lapeer area and averaged 22.1 miles per gallon. What a wonderful vehicle and a great experience with Dom and Bowman. Will be back again next time.

I am very pleased with relationship I developed with the staff at Bowman Chevrolet when I ordered my new 2014 Corvette. Doug Clark was the first person I met on my initial visit and he was very helpful in making my decision. Sam Mona took over my order process a few days later and he is very knowledgeable with the Corvettes, and was able to answer all of my questions. Then came the long 8 week wait for the order process and production. They were very patient with me and helped move the order along all the way. Finally delivery came and they even had pictures for me of the car being unloaded off the truck. They are trying to build their Corvette business and I have no problems recommending my friends and family to them. I understand their service department is fantastic also.

I purchased a used Chevrolet Traverse from a "sister company" to Bowman Chevrolet in February 2014. Over the course of about 3 months there were several issues that came up and the dealership was NOT handling the situation. I contacted Rhonda Jensen and Brian Burke after several weeks of getting no where and they stepped up like no other!!! They truly went above and beyond and took care of me and my concerns. I am so incredibly grateful for the efforts they made to rectify the situation. Not only did they send a driver to drop off a rental and pick my vehicle up for repair, but, they took care of ALL of the issues that I was having with the vehicle. Then they had my car returned to me and picked the rental up. I also spoke with the service manager, Jimmy Roy, who was so professional and understanding of the situation. He to went above and beyond. He followed up not only the night I originally spoke with him, but again the following day to make sure I was put in touch with the proper person to help with the situation. After hearing the details of the situation they told me that is not how they do business and that customer service is priority. They weren't kidding! I am so impressed with the professional and compassionate staff that I encountered at Bowman Chevrolet. I tell anyone and everyone looking for a car that this is where they need to go! I was sold a lemon and no one was willing to help resolve the problem. I gave salesman all of my information online and over the phone. I got to the used car dealership 30 minutes before closing time so my mistake was not test driving the car. As I left the dealership going home, I heard a knocking noise. I called my salesman the very next morning. Since it was the Thursday before Christmas, he advised me to bring the car in after the holiday and they would take care of whatever the problem was. I contacted the salesman right after the holiday, I paid for and rented my own car while they checked it out for them to tell me that nothing was wrong. They suggested that I take it in to a Chrysler dealer (since it was a Dodge car) and the Chrysler dealer said that its a rocker arm issue that would cost approximately $850. I called the dealer and told them the issue and they said, "you signed a "as is" form and couldn't help me. So now I'm stuck with paying for a rocker arm issue because the dealer sold me a car with a bad engine. I should have test drove the car and I would have known right away that there was a problem. However, I thought that since I contacted the dealership right away, that they would assist me and take care of the problem. They tried to act as though there was no problem with the car and did not help to resolve the problem. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone because they sell lemon cars and are not willing to satisfy customers.

My last vehicle I purchased from Bowman Chevrolet was a 2011 Equinox. I decided I needed a larger vehicle and decided to lease a vehicle versus buying it outright. On Monday, February 17, I took possession of a 2014 Traverse.John Hagar was my salesman. I found John to be very professional, polite, and very knowledgeable about every aspect of the lease program. John has a calm demeanor about him, and I felt very relaxed working with him. He made sure I knew and understood all aspects of the leasing process. He explained several programs to me that would be beneficial when leasing a vehicle, such as the Smart Lease Program, the Zurich Protection Plan, and a Wheel and Tire Program Protection Program. I decided to purchase two of these protection programs based upon the criteria that could have an impact on me financially when I turn in the leased vehicle.Upon taking delivery of the vehicle, John spent a great deal of time with me making sure I understood how everything in the vehicle worked. When my husband and I decided to buy a new car, we started shopping Chevrolet dealerships. Just like 5 previous times we saved Bowman's for last. We shop other dealerships because we do our homework, then we buy from Bowman's because we know from the time we walk in and smell the popcorn to driving our new car off the lot it will be a good experience. This time was a pleasant surprise because a long time acquaintance of my husbands had returned to Bowman's to sell cars. Kirk Fields. Kirk was great from the beginning. We originally wanted a Camaro but decided to test drive an Impala also. We really liked the Impala. Kirk spent time with us noting everything we wanted in this car. My husband is very picky! After a couple of days Kirk was able to track down the car we wanted and had it delivered to Bowman's lot. It was so exciting to see the car for the first time. Kirk did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process. I think he was as excited as we were. We had some minor scratches that my husband wanted buffed out and the service dept. was great about that. We have always received great service in the past from Bowman's and did this time also. Justin was great about teaching us all the features the car had and answering our questions. I like the idea that we can stop by anytime and someone is always willing to help us. Stopped in on Dec 30 just to check things out. As you can imagine the dealership was very busy for end of year but Teresa Brody came over and told us she would be with us in a few minutes. We waited in the terrific customer service area. Coffee, tea, popcorn, sodas and fresh baked cookies! Can't beat that! She then proceeded to give me the information I needed and even better got me the best deal I had received from any dealer. I bought my 2014 Equinox that night and picked it up on New Years Eve day. I researched inexpensive compact cars on the Internet and found that Chevorlet has several American made cars. I went to Bowman because it's local and I wanted to test drive a Chevy Sonic and compare lease and purchase prices. I told Tony I would also look at other car makes and models. I went to a Honda dealership and test drove a Honda civic, which I liked. But, I did not the hard-sell salesperson. Tony emailed me with comparison prices and said that the Cruz was a better deal for leasing. When I went back to Bowman, I told him about about a bad experience at Honda and about my last purchase two years ago with a finance guy who made me wait two hours then spending 45 minutes trying to up-sell me on several products. I said that if my financing was approved, I wanted to have a hassle-free, quick delivery without a lot of attempts to up-sell me on products. When I came in to sign papers for the lease of a 2014 Cruz, everything was ready for me to sign. Mike Filice, the finance manager, came over and introduced himself and took about 5 minutes to review protection options. No one pressured me. I signed the papers and Tony took me back to meet Jodi in customer service. She gave me a welcome gift and welcomed me to the Bowman service department. Then Tony took me to my new car and walked me through some of the features and stayed with me until I set up ONStar. This was the best car buying experience I have had.

Had a great salesman but overall got screwed. Bought a 2006 Grand Cherokee for 10,500 had it for two weeks and only drove 200 miles and it started having issues with it not shifting right, called and was told the manager said sorry about your luck. Usually people buy a used car from a dealer for the idea that it was checked over and necessary repairs were taken care of otherwise i would have saved my self a few grand and bought from a private seller. well i guess i eat crow on this one.

Peggy was recommended to me by family when I said I was interested in buying a new car. I came in and did a test drive for a 2013 Sonic and I fell in love with it! I had to wait a few months before I was ready to buy and Peggy was very patient and friendly whenever I had a question. When it came time to buy I was in a bit of a time crunch and Peggy worked hard and after hours to get me set up with my new car within 24 hours. She also worked with the finance guy (whose name I've forgotten) to get me an awesome rate on my loan which got my payments right where I needed them to be, that was such a relief! Spoke with a salesman and he was suppose to gather up information for me regarding the Camaro. Up to now, I have not heard anything from him or the dealership. I have purchased by last 3 vehicles from Bowman. My previous salesman no longer works at Bowman so I had to choose a new one. I went in with my two teenagers to look around and test drive and Rocco quickly got us a vehicle to test drive. He was excellent to work with and very personable. We chatted about my daughter's sports and my son's college. It was a comfortable and pleasant experience. When we decided to purchase, my husband and I went back. It was July 3rd and you had an awesome picnic spread and that was a nice surprise! So he got some lunch while Rocco and I searched for the car I wanted. He also had our trade in looked at and explained exactly how they arrive at the trade in value. We had to have the car brought in from another dealer. Even with it being the holiday, some of his coworkers on vacation and having to do some training, he got the car to us very quickly. He made sure to show me around the service area and explained how to make appointments and what to do if I needed to drop my car off and get a ride to work etc. I could go on forever, but suffice it to say that my experience was super excellent and I am very satisfied with my "new ride". If you are in northern Oakland county you should absolutely be using this dealership!!!

From the moment I walked in the front door, my expectations were surpassed. My purchase of a new Sonic was totally dependent upon the trade-in value of my current car. Brian showed me exactly how it was figured. Another dealership offered me nearly $4,000 less! Brian then introduced me to Rocco. He was friendly, never pushy, and took me all around the dealership to look at cars. He worked very well with my bank and had my car ready for me on Friday morning when I wanted to pick it up. I only write reviews for exceptionally good or very poor experiences. Bowman Chevrolet tops the list for incredible customer service! I have recommended this dealership to several people and will continue to do so.

There was paperwork that started to be filled out for a loan, when in fact we already had a loan approved and waiting at our Credit Union (Genisys). Sam Mona spent a considerable amount of time to help us determine and then locate the Malibu my wife wanted. I started working with Sam before intoducing my wife to him because the car was for her birthday. He worked with us to make sure we were receiving every possible rebate we qualified for and get the most for our trade-in. When the vehicle was delivered, Sam explained all the paperwork thoroughly and then reviewed all the interior controls with my wife to make her familiar with everything. Doug Clark (Sales Manager) also helped clarify any rebate questions we had. He was extremely personable and I feel like we gained a good friend in Sam. As we joked with him about things he would always have a good comeback with a great sense of humor. We had a lot of good laughs and really enjoyed working with Sam. First time lease customer- Fast and friendly service; easy going experience. I've attempted working with a dealership once before and it wasn't great. But everyone at John Bowman was awesome. Everyone I met was extremely nice including the sales manager, finance manager, and of course my sales person. Chaz found the best deals and discounts possible for me, I was able to trade in my vehicle, and get the vehicle with the options that I wanted. Even getting financed wasn't as horrible as I remembered, I was approved within minutes! When I came to sign and pick up, everything was ready to go and they even showed me how to set up my phone and other settings. I am already in love with my Malibu and will be back to see them in the future!

Dom had a great attitude from the start to the end. Dom went out of his way to make sure everything was to our liking before we left the dealership. We drove two hours to purchase a truck from Bowman's. Because we had such a long drive home Dom filled up the truck for us! We didn't ask for any gas to even be put into the truck. He went above and beyond in my book. Great, salesman!

He was able to come up with the 2013 Cruze LS that fit right into my budget. I think that is a good salesman who can work with you and the budget you bring to him to fit you into a new lease. That is how the buying/leasing a new car experience should be! From the moment I walked in, everyone was extremely pleasant & helpful. From the receptionist greeting me, to the manager (Justin) assisting me until Allison was available, and then from Allison to Mike Felice in the finance area. I have purchased 2 new Chevies from Allison this year. I love my 2012 Colorado and my wife loves her 2012 Cruz LTZ. The Cruz is getting 37.8 mpg. Wow, better than I expected. We were looking for a reliable used car for our college age daughter. We have gone to Bowman Cheverolet before and have been happy. Dan worked with us and after discussing a few cars, we ended up purchasing a Chevrolet Aveo. Dan answered all of our questions and when he didn't know, he would go find the answer. He was prompt and efficient and took the time to explain everything to our daughter. She was very excited and Dan made this "first car" buying and great experience for her. We had purchased 2 previous used cars through Dan and they are still on the road, very long lasting and reliable vehicles. We will be back when our next son needs a car. Thank you Dan.

Yesterday we put an offer in at Bowmans Chevrolet for a used HHR. The very young salesman, dan burke, was nice, but eventually we could see he was following orders from "the sales manager" and slicking and sliming his way with us. Finally we turned him down and we left. Hey thats the breaks right? No problem, it happens. Well, I had left him our phone numbers. He called at 8:30 a.m. this morning saying that they had gone for the deal and it would be as we had proposed out the door. He told me to call my insurance and have them fax everything to them and gave me the fax number. I did this and then around 11:30 dan calls and he says that he didnt know this but that someone had come in after us last night and were getting financing for the full price. I told him that this was not right, that we had a deal. He apologized and then said he would continue to work on it. I had not heard from him so at 1 oclock, I texted and asked him for a status. He texted back stating that they were still waiting on the people for financing issues. I texted back to cancel the deal completely that a deal at Bowman had no weight and to not contact us for anything further. This was a very poor experience in fair dealing. They had made a deal and had pursued us then when someone else offered a higher price they went for it.

I initially dealt with Joe who is the internet manager. He answered my questions in a timely manner. He also led me to my test drives at the dealership. Later on, I was handed off to Chaz who did a wonderful job finishing off the transaction. Chaz enthusiastically and patiently dealt with my various questions and issues. Overall sales experience was great! We had our 2008 Saturn Vue for only two days and all if a sudden the cruise control stopped working and at the same time 2 traction control warning lights and a TPS light came on. I took the Vue straight to John Bowman Chevrolet at 4:30pm and Brian Burke (used car sales manager) took me straight to the Service department and had someone check out the vehicle. Bad news first: The mechanic that looked at it told Brian that there was a switch that needed to be replaced and they would need to keep the vehicle until Monday (for saftey reasons) so Brain set it up for me to get a loaner car for the weekend.Here's the bad news: Apparently the mechanic was going on vacaiton the next day and he did not write any notes down regarding what type of switch they needed and he cleared out all the error codes. So the service department had to duplicate the errors (needless to say it took an extra 2 days for the codes to error out again (typical thing that seems to happen when you take a vehicle into the shop), for some reason cars don't like to co-operate when you take them in for service.GREAT NEWS:Ron the service manager ended up taking the Suv home on Tuesday night to try to duplicate the errors and he actually did, he hooked it up to the computer and found the switch that needed to be replaced, Wednesday morning picked up the part, installed it and tested. Brian and Ron did a great job and to top it all off they had Al (another nice person) washed, filled up our gas tank & drove our Vue to my work (a half hour away!) to swap cars with me. A nice added touch, Brian also gave us a $50 gas card for our inconveince. I have to tell you my wife and I have had horrible experiences with other dealerships in the past ranging from sales to service.Brian has made us customers for life; wether it is service for BOTH of our GM vehicles or puchase of new/used vehicles.

Working with Justin was very lovely. I had been looking for a car for quite a while with no luck, until I met Justin. He was extremely kind and helped walk us through the entire process. He wasn't at all pushy like most of the people I had previously looked at cars with. When I walked into other dealerships, it was like I entered a shark tank and it was very overwhelming. My experience with Justin was just the opposite of that, I was actually very excited when I walked in and met him. He made me feel very comfortable the entire time. He listened to everything that I wanted and needed and made everything work out perfectly and now I have an amazing car that I absolutely love and I have him to thank for that. I will be recommending Justin to everyone and in the future if I am ever in need of another car, I will be sure to come back :)

What an experience! Justin walked me through this whole process and made me so much more comfortable with buying my first car. He really went the extra mile to make sure that everything was taken care of for me. I had shopped around at some other locations and did not get nearly as much help as I was given here. I believe the whole dealership went above and beyond in taking care of me and getting me into my new car. My father (who has went through this process many times) said that he was also extremely impressed with the customer service that was provided. I have only had my car for a few days now, but I wanted to get on as soon as possible and write this review. People need to know how great this place really is. When I'm ready for another car, Justin will most certainly be my guy.

The service was excellent, the honesty was impressive, and they detailed the crap out of my used car that I purchased. Have not had the opportunity to visit or use the service department as yet. I purchased a new Avalanche using my GM Discount and available rebates. Trade in on my 2009 Avalanche was very fair trade giving me a substancial downpayment on the new vehicle, that with rebates and GM Discount made it almost impossible not to trade up.Everyone I dealt with at Bowman was very polite and seemed to know their end of the business very well. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction and arrangements were made to accomdate my schedule for all of the necessary administrivia to exchange vehicles, deal with the financing etc. This is the first vehicle I have purchased from Bowman after buy a number of vehicles from another dealership. The previous dealer lost my business due to a number of bad experiences for myself, my wife & my daughter-in-law in their service department. Once the new car smell wears off the vehicle your opinion of the dealership is based on the performance of the service department and the treatment you receive from them. The previous dealer lost the business of at least 4 individuals who trade for new vehicles about every other year, my wife and I have done this since 1982, they have sold us a lot of cars. Their service depatment cost them a lot of car sales.

This dealership is absolutely wonderful! I wanted a hatchback and knew that Chevrolet made the Malibu Maxx (hatchback) back in 2007. Bowman Chevrolet at the time did not have the car I wanted yet, but said it was "on its way". One week later, I get a phone call saying that just 10 min ago, the car arrived. It was a Chevrolet Malibu Maxx with 11,000 miles! They gave me a good price and provided me with all my needs. Dan was helping me answer all my questions and did everything he could to make my experience more enjoyable and easy. Victor was extremely polite and helpful, getting the job done as fast as he could. Both car salesmen knew the car like it was their very own child. Purchasing the used car was easy and hassle free. This is my first car and I would defiantly recommend anyone to John Bowman Chevrolet. Just ask for either victor or Dan. They will give you excellent service and the best price in town.

I had been exposed to the automobile business at the dealership level for over 10 years, and passed this info to them in hopes of avoiding all the games they play when buying a used car. Apparently no one listened, because the song and dance crew went into their act from the get go.First they overvalued their car for sale (Kelly Blue Book as guide), and then undervalued my trade ( I used the same guide as a reference in both value determinations). When I brought this to their attention after they wheeled out their numbers of "what they could do for me", they said Kelly Blue Book was unreliable and do not use it.Kelly Blue Book unreliable? It is the industry standard for evaluation! I asked them what national service they used (i.e., Edmunds,NADA, etc.) and they wouldn't divulge their source. So, I took my business elsewhere to a more trustworthy dealership and recommend to everyone I discuss cars with not to stop at this place where deception and dishonesty seem to be the order of the day and their 'best practise' philosophy.

During a heavy rain my trunk filed with at least 4" of water. Over a time spand of 18 hours I called the service dept THREE times. They said they didn't know how to FIX it nor ever heard of such a problem. I specifically asked Bowman to contact regional resources to see what they advise. The service employee refused and just laughed like the problem was a funny funny joke. When I asked to be connected with his supervisor the supervisor even became angry I would question him or crew. After I cleaned out water myself discovered a plug in the wheel well for draining trunk water. I was horrified Bowman's not only lack of commom knowledge of the car - surely they must of noticed the plug before but their conduct. They made no effort to be polite. I have since learned other people in my community have reported similar rudeness and indifference. Those boys have serious "issues".

My wife and I recieved a letter from this dealer recommending that it is NOT too early to discuss turning in our leased Malibu Maxx. So, we decided to go in and do that very thing. We told them at this time that we would like to purchase a used truck also. Well, we were alittle too early to turn in our Malibu Maxx, which was fine. However, we discussed trading in our van, in order to purchase a used truck, it was like, "sorry we are only willing to give you a fraction of what the van is worth", which is fine too, but what wasn't fine with me is how I asked them to slightly raise the amount of money for the trade in value, and slightly lower the amount of the price of the vehical to be purchased, so as to come to an agreeable purchase for me and them. I mean the value of the van was about $16000 ( which is about what I owed on it) they said the trade in value was only $11000 Which, again, I understand why...What I don't understand, is, why they could'nt stand to budge a little bit on the trade in value. I mean there was a $5000 difference there, they couldn't shave it $1000? I mean, I am going to be purchasing 2 vehicals within the next year, you'd think they'd want to make a deal, to insure those sales were with their firm. Well, guess what? By not returning there calls, or emails, and not willing to put any effort forward to make a deal with me, I will NOT be dealing with them in the future. By the way, I AM taking my Christmas bonus somewhere to purchase 2 vehicals real soon.

My car was only 6 months old,when a deer ran out in front of me and waxed my entire right side of my NEW CORVETTE..After calling my insurance agent i found out Bowman Chevrolet was a direct repair for my insurance company. I took my car there and was greeted promptly by the cortoues and understanding staff in the b/shop that this is my Baby!!! I WANT NO PROBLEMS! 7 days later they called me to pick up my car.Now i am thinking 7000.00 worth of work done in 7 days,there are going to be problems..SURPRISE,NO PROBLEMS AND THE CAR LOOKS LIKE NEW. They even detailed my car when it was there...I thought being under 35 and a woman would be a problem,not here. I purchased a new 1995 Chevrolet Lumina LS with 3.4L 32V engine in the Fall of 1994. I had a problem with the brakes from the start and made repeated trips to the service department to no avail. Finally, a young mechanic suggested I leave the car with him for a few days. He, after three years, numerous visits and 53,000 miles discovered that the car had a hairline crack in the master cylinder. The car was taken under the lemon law and I received my money back. However, the real story is how I was treated by the entire staff at Bowman Chevrolet. I was treated like royalty and made to feel special whenever I went there. No one got tired of seeing me or hearing my complaints. I live in Columbus, GA now and we know if we buy another Chevrolet like we expect to do, it will definitely be from Bowman of Clarkston, MI <br><br>Nathaniel Harris - A very satisfied customer

Used them to drop off my GMAC lease car (not a Chevrolet). I forgot a key fob, and had it dropped off the next day. The person who was given the fob proptly forgot about it and GMAC tried to charge me for loss. Eventually after several phone calls they returned the keys to GMAC and the charge was removed.
