Buying process was excellent. Salesman was excellent. F&I man nearly cost you a sale. When you have to tell him upwards of 10 times that you don't want to buy what you are selling, it became quite annoying. If I had known that I was going to go through that I would have gone somewhere else. That guy is strictly high pressure and I did not appreciate it.

The entire team was very helpful throughout the process of researching, comparing, test driving, etc., but Joshua Malloy was out outstanding. He provided knowledgeable and honest assistance with sincere personal interest. This is the second time I've purchased a car at Camelback Kia and the experience this time exceeded my expectations.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Camelback Kia's pricing was deceptive and not very competitive. If your experience is anything like my experience, you can bet that they will hide the car you came to test drive and waste your time trying to sell you a car that you do not want. Don't trust anything said or offered at this location, even if it is in writing. Avoid!

Baha was great and helpful. Overall the experience was good, but there was some shadiness involved, but not on baha's part. From the people that were running the numbers. I do wish they had a bigger selection of Rios on hand. Thanks

This has been the worst experience and the worst customer service experience. Hector in the service department needs to be trained on customer service as well as the service manager David. If this is the best your company has to offer and they represent your company.... I would close my doors. I will never buy another car from this dealership.

I normally do not do those surveys places ask you to do let alone go online to write a review but one individual certainly deserves the recognition. I was stopping in to browse and get and idea of what options my sister may have as she's considering a vehicle purchase but can't decide between new or certified used. We were already apprehensive about going into a car dealership bc of the stereo types everyone things of; being two females made me more nervous. I am so grateful to have been lucky enough to have Nick greet us that day. It was a breath of fresh air to work with him. He showed my sister and I several different cars while explaining benefits to buying new vs used or vice versa. What stood out the most to be is that we walked away that day feeling like we had just spent time chatting it up with a friend. A knowledgable friend! Sister and her husband went back next day and have been very very pleased with their decision! Great job nick and great selection camelback Kia!

We LOVE our new KIA!!! We just purchased a Sorento! It is everything we wanted and more!! We haven't purchased a brand new vehicle in over 18 years. It was time for a new ride! Our family is highly satisfied!!! There is room for all 7 of us! It is beautiful inside and out!!!! It is perfect!!! The reliability and safety reviews are what led us to this particular model and brand. KIA sure knew what they were doing when they made this vehicle! We are so spoiled driving this luxurious Sorento down the road. Thank you KIA for amazing vehicle! Thank you for keeping safety, reliability and family in mind! We are in LOVE with this KIA Sorwnto!!!! We love Camelback KIA! They were amazing!! Thank you to our salespeople Zach and Elissa! They made it such a great experience! When they pulled the vehicle around for us to test drive, they opened all the doors and the hood for us to see it all. Zach told us everything he knew about the Sorento inside and out. It confirmed to us that we were about to test drive an amazing vehicle. The techno gadgets are amazing!!! Wow!! The V-6 was the only way to go for us! We loved the power!! Zach and Eissa were with us every step of the way! We did wait a long while for financing. It was a busy Saturday afternoon. They helped us set up our Android Carplay before we left. It is amazing! We love it!! We also got to hit the gong in the lobby because we just bought a new car!!! Great experience! We would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a vehicle. We would reccommend a KIA Sorento to anyone in the market for an amazing out of this world crossover! We are in LOVE with our KIA Sorento!!

Bought 2011 kia, just bought June 2016 . When I took my car for car washed the plastic siding came off .Took my car Back to kia dealership. ( camelback, Phnx.) I had them to replaced and pay for it. Of course I told to the service manager David im going to drive the car first time out of state. When done doing everything. I had Text message or email from kia service that my car ::: Brake Fluid, Coolant service, 4 Wheel s alignment, clean& Service Throttle body, Perform / Air induction system service, Transmission fluid , etc... I called back and I can understand sometime we had family issues he was not there. I waited till he come back to work. Call again talked to him had me come next day Friday 2016, he told me what is wrong wirh the car I told him its like driving a diesel truck and the sound . Its wrap not highly noticeable but is there No power when you step the gas the car just doesn't run it supposed to, make funny sound im afraid that might blow the transmission. I slowly release my foot to the gas pedal and try again slowly the car no power its like it got stuck. .. He told me I had to pay $ 130.00 to diagnose. Not going to pay that xxxx money to Diagnosed .it supposed to be checked or Done right Before I bought it. If I be selling something I be sure my customer getting for what they buy.Not a rotten stinky shitt...They dont Deserve a good Business.. no rating Bcuz stinky rotten skunk..

I highly recommend you consider a different dealership to purchase your vehicle. After they take you on the test drive they bring you back to negotiate price and like previous comments say on their reviews, they try and add an additional $4,000. It is a complete joke. I personally am a business man and saw through their bull $hit and refused to pay the hidden fee's. And then, after the purchase, they gave me the vehicle on EMPTY and car dirty at 9:30pm when everything got settled. After complaining about the terrible purchase presentation they sent me a $25 gift card, which would have been acceptable, if it were a Prius. The cost of filling up the car $40.......AND the GSM Daniella- Such a joke. Worst customer service associate I've ever dealt with. Screened my calls and avoided calling me back because she knew she was in the wrong. I normally do not post reviews and this is my first for Google but I wish I was for-warned before visiting this location and its poor customer service

Brought our Kia in for service that was only supposed to take two hours. We called ahead to see if we could get a loaner because we had an important doctors appointment to go to and they said that wouldn't be a problem. I got there with my newborn son in tow, ready to pick up the loaner but they couldn't find it. Come to find out that they had sold it (and apparently had no other loaners). So they set us up with a rental car, but we had to go to the rental car location. I had my baby so I also had a car seat, car seat base, and stroller with me. It was such a pain to load everything into the vehicle so they could take me to the rental location, then again load everything into the rental. Not to mention having to deal with the sales people at the rental location that wouldn't take "no" for an answer with their insurance coverage. Finally, 7 hours later (even though they said it would take 2-3 hours) we were notified that our car was ready. I was looking to purchase a new Sorento but after this experience I don't want to purchase another Kia out of fear of having to go through this each time we get maintenance on our car.

These folks really try to take you for a ride and treat you as though you're stupid. The store manager Sean emailed me asking why I hadn't bought a car and to ensure I was completely satisfied with my visit and when I responded I never even received an apology for the horrible customer service I received. They are still calling me and harrasing me to buy a car. Don't waste your time at this dealership. Go someplace were they respect your time and aren't taking YOU for a ride.

I found 2 vehicles on camelback kia website.....so I called to ask if they were still available. The car sales rep said yes then I talked to the internet manager about the pricing of the vehicle. They would not work over the phone and did not care to offer a better deal. So I went to the dealership in person to look at the vehicles, possibly test drive and see if they would actually make a better or some kind offer. As soon as I show up, I wait 15-20 mins waiting for a sales rep to show me the vehicles then I get passed on to the internet manager who goes back to the office talking with other sales rep because I prefer not to work with her based on our phone conversation. She never comes back out after 10 mins and all the sales rep are in back well aware I am waiting. I go back outside to check out the vehicles because I am tired of waiting and the vehicles are nowhere to be found. I found the whole process unfriendly, rude and unprofessional. I went down the street to Courtesy Chevrolet.....so much better customer service, they were quick to show me vehicles, no waiting and I eventually purchased my vehicle from them. Ask for Frankie Blanco.......he will work a deal for you.

I am hesitant to buy cars, especially being female. I do not want to be taken advantage of, I have an idea of what I wanted and the price range I could afford, and have been very interested in buying a Kia. At the dealership I was helped by a very tall handsome young man Victor G. He was very knowledgeable of all the cars I was interested in, and took the time with me while I was trying to decide what was best. I felt no pressure and if he was just a resource for all of my questions and concerns. Overall a great experience, no pressure, and I didn't get taken advantage of. Thanks Victor!

I have never really been interested in purchasing a Kia I always thought that they were cheaply made cars. that was until I went in to Camelback Kia and a young man by the name of Andre Stansberry assisted me and let me test drive a Kia Sorento I fell in love immediately also green is my favorite color they had one in green. I most definitely will be recommending and referring my friends family and coworkers to Camelback Kia. Kia rock!!!

I recently went into the Camelback Kia to just LOOK, but not necessarily purchase a car that day. I met with a nice young fellow Andre. Before I knew it I drove off in a new Kia! I visited and purchased a Kia Soul recently form Camelback KIa. I was a little skeptical at first due to reading reviews, but it's close to where I live. :) A young man by the name of Andre greeted me. He was very comfortable and easy to deal with. I do NOT trust sales people. LOL I have a lot of life experience w/purchasing cars. I knew right away Andre was legit. He didn't try to rip me off because I am an older woman. :) I love my new Soul and will be going back to Camelback Kia in the future when/if I decide to trade my Soul one day. Hats off to Camelback Kia, Andre Stansberry and my new 2015 Kia Soul!

I must admit, that I was a bit afraid of going car shopping, especially alone! Upon arriving at Camelback Kia, I was greeted and immediately put at ease. I was able to shop without pressure with their friendly staff. I was already working with another dealership when I stopped in to Camelback and already set an appointment and felt it was necessary to try at least one more place. They wished me well and sent me on my way with their offer. After five minutes of a nightmare with the other guys I literally came running back! I called Camelback Kia on my way and they had my paperwork ready for me when I got there. I am now a happy Kia customer!

They NEVER return calls. Getting a hold of someone on the phone is IMPOSSIBLE. Going down there and no one ever knows what to do. I cannot wait to be done with KIA and I would never recommend anyone I know to use them. We are in this just over a year now. Everyone was helpful until we signed the dotted line, now they could care less.

"My experience with Camelback Kia was outstanding. I had the pleasure to work with Kevin and Arielle and they were awesome. When I went into the store I was not planning on buying that day because I had been shopping around and I still had 2 more places that I wanted to checking out. However their customer service was so excellent and they were very professional. One of the thing that really impressed me was that they were concerned about my time. They made me feel like I was a priority and because of that I brought my car from them that day."

After inquiring online for a new Sonata I had several dealers calling me and sending me emails, after receiving calls and email from every dealership in the valley I found myself feeling more comfortable with the emails I received from Scott Monteiro and after speaking with him I was absolutely considering buying a car from this dealership, when I arrived I spoke with Scott and he introduced me to One of his best sales person Tammy Jarrin who absolutely took great care of me. I would recommend my friends and family here. Thank you Scott and Tammy

If I could come up with a list of every negative adjective in the dictionary, I'd list them here. Like others have said, if I could give them ZERO stars, I would. Our sales guy was okay, but then came the high pressure sales manager. Essentially they play good cop/bad cop, and get mad when you don't succumb. Here's the story - This place listed a used Honda Accord with about 10K miles on it for about $18,600 on the internet. Contacted them online, and they confirmed it was available. Went in to see it and it had "just" been sold before I got there. When they tried to redirect me, I just said no - I had come specifically for that car. So far so good, right? The next day, I get a call/text from the sales guy saying - miracle of miracles - the sale hadn't gone through and the car was now available. I once again drive over 25 miles to go see the car. When we get there, it's there alright - except it has about 1500 miles more than listed. We asked about the difference, and the explanation was that the driver from the day before must have put the additional mileage on. WHAT?!?! LIE number one. It was clear that wasn't the case when the CARFAX didn't bear out the story. We took it for a test drive. What's that smell? Luckily, we were driving on a rainy day in Phoenix, and the humidity brought out the smell in the car - smoke & skunk. They promised us they could detail it out, but in retrospect, I HIGHLY doubt that it's possible, or that they would honor it. Then, we sat down to talk about price. To make a long story short, they advertised it for $18,600, and refused to sell it for less than $26,000! LIE number two. When they wouldn't budge, we decided to walk out. This is when Mr. High Pressure Sales Manager comes in. His tactic was basically to tell us we were stupid for not taking the sale. And, he tried to leave us there stewing - I suppose because he thought we'd "come to our senses" on his ridiculous deal. We ended up just walking out almost completely unattended (the sales guy gave us his card as we headed out - he even stalled in getting us his card, like that might make a difference). We ended up going to another dealership (Arrowhead, if you want a good one), and bought a NEW Accord for thousands LESS THAN what this place wanted for the ragged, old, two-owner, higher-mileage, smoke/skunk smelling used carSTRONGLY RECOMMEND DOING ZERO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE.

Shady and dishonest, misleading advertizing all the way.Frivolous interpretation of terms such as "rebate" and "savings", rude and incompetent salespeople just to name a few. Wasted 2 hours there yesterday trying to purchase Kia Soul at advertised price of $13,656 (plus tax, tags and fees of course) which in the end came to its MSRP of nearly $19,000 - what unimaginable BS!Honestly, I don't know how they are still in business.

Do your homework before you come to this dealership. They are one of those dealerships that advertise a low price to get you on the lot and then add thousands in overpriced options that they conveniently fail to mention. I went to this dealership to help my niece find a Kia Soul. The dealership advertises a new Kia Soul base for $13,388. I call and talk to a salesman, Steve, and he says to come on down and yes they have them in stock for the advertised price. We sit down to come up with a price including our trade-in. The $13,388 car has a final sticker price of about $22,000. The roughly $4000 in options include a spare tire, window tint, door edge guards and the good ol' paint protection. That is worth $4000? To me the whole option list should be worth about $350 -- for the tint and the spare tire (which Kia doesn't include as standard equipment). I asked the sales manager about the cost of the spare tire and he tells me that they paid $350 for the spare tire...that's their cost...$350 for a spare tire. Maybe they should check Amazon.com -- they have them for $152 ha, ha. We make an offer and they come back at us with an out-the-door price of $22,300 -- they're giving us an entire $100 for our trade in. Take away the tax, title, and license and they upped the price about $6752 from their advertised price on their website. We got up and walked out and told them not to contact us. Their advertised price includes a whole lotta "rebates" that you have to qualify for...guess what, nobody can qualify for all of them and then they add lots of overpriced worthless options like paint protection (which many dealers do, but they dismiss them when you come down to haggling over the final price). Wish I would've check Yelp or dealerrater.com before shopping...not very many good reviews on this dealership. Do your homework or they will eat an inexperienced car shopper alive.******Update -- Went to Horne Kia. They had an ad for $4000 off all new Kia Souls...got the deal we were looking for -- $1300 for trade (Camelback offered $100) OTD for $15,600 with trade in. Much better than the $22,300 at Camelback. Imagine a dealership that had advertisements that actually have meaning and value...maybe Camelback Kia should try that???********

I did not end up buying a Kia from Camelback Kia. I was shopping between the Optima and the Sonata and I decided on the Sonata. I wish I could have bought the Sonata from my salesperson at Kia Ben Schwartz. He was an extreme professional and he never made me feel pressured to buy a car. Rather he took the time to show me the Optima and educate me on what I was looking at. I took two hours of his time and he was interested in getting me information the whole time. I just wanted to say thank you to Andre Stansberry and the camelback kia staff. I walked into the dealership after I got off of work so I was already tired but my car was having issues so I had to do something soon. I was approached my Andre right away but he was never pushy from the beginning to the end. I wasn't sure what kind of kia I wanted so he showed me three different cars. Long story short I ended up buying a brand new Kia Forte and I couldn't be any happier! If you are looking for s kia go to camelback kia and ask for Andre Stansberry and you will be treated great!

They lie!!! Dishonest!!!! Don't return calls!!! Purchased my car from them it wasnt what i wanted but was told to make all payments on time for 1 yr and i can come back and trade it for a new vehicle. I did that and went back. They lied!!! Had me sitting in there for 3hrs and said i need a cosigner and they didnt need good credit. I asked what are my chances on getting the car with a cosigner and they said 100%. So i got a cosigner. After another 45 minutes one of the sales managers come out and say "we are waiting to hear back from the bank, it may take a few hours so we will call you. They never called. I called every day for a week and noone called back.Did I mention they lie!!

From MSRP not matching the online price, to not honoring the OTD offer, to outright lying about the mileage on the "true mileage" form they had me sign. I should have walked out the door a number of times. Salespeople so full of BS it was incredible. Love the Soul, hated the experience. Was under time constraints, so stuck it out.
Not impressed
Jun 19, 2015
Long story short They posted an Internet price online of a used vehicle and when we drove from Tucson they added over 3k in fees that they stated were not negotiable to the price of the car. After hours of pointless wasted time We finally came to a deal and at the last minute they changed it. We left. What a nightmare! If you want the stereotypical nightmare experience that every comedian jokes about then go. But if you have better things to do like a dentist appointment I suggest you look other places.

I Received a letter from the dealer to test drive a car...I made an app. and drove a Rio. A nice car ..the manager was very pushey saying well are you ready to purchase ? I said I will have to see the figures before I make any decision.....he returned said why do u want to trade ur car? I said I didnt know if i wanted to...yet then he said i will give you $500.00 trade in on your 2006 Kia Reo . I said "you gotta be kidding"...i got up and tried to leave they still had my keys, I ask for them. then another manager came up and said "just what do you want for your car"? off the top of my head I said at least $3000.00 then he said ok ...and then the old head game started... I said youre very insulting...I see why the dealership was void of any other customers the entire time i was there.by the way the letter said $25.00 toward service on any car,,I didnt get that either!!!!

I had a deal in place for a Kia at Camelback, and as I stated many times to them, the car had to have CRUISE and KEYLESS entry. the vehicle I CLEARLY STATED I was interested in was to have CRUISE and KEY LESS entry. Sometime during negotiations, they switched to a vehicle WITHOUT Cruise and Keyless entry. When we went back Tuesday 5/26/15 to complete the sale, my wife was led to a car, and noticed it had NO CRUISE. The sales person, acted shocked , and then said, gee wait, I just noticed it has no keyless entry either. Can we upgrade you to a model that has those. We never got the $25 visa card they lured us way down there for. They had NONE, I was told. And told the same thing Tuesday. I went to Tempe Kia a week ago, and the salesman there was honest, and told me the True Value price I had of 15K, was NOT a model that had cruise/keyless entry. THAT WAS FINE.I thanked him for explaining that. As you see from below, Camelback promised they could do it, then switched to the lesserequipped model, seemingly thinking we wouldn't notice , or would be enticed to pay more.Plus the car they showed us was filthy with bird droppings all over it. Nice presentation.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE -go to another dealer- Tempe, Horne, Mark , Earnhardt I have automatic Fortes with keyless entry and Bluetooth starting in the mid 14s. It sounds like these have all the equipment that you want. Do you have at least 20 minutes tomorrow to come check one for our memorial day sale. I can give you a $25 visa card just for stopping in.Thank you Sales & Leasing ConsultantCamelback Kia1450 E. Camelback RoadPhoenix, Arizona 85014

I bought a new car from this dealer in 2012 when it was Nick Meyer Kia. After one year this dealership has badgered me to trap in my car to get a newer car for less money (riiiiight). I have told them on multiple times to add me to their Do Not Contact list. They promise I'll never get called again. I still get a handful of calls a year from them. I just got a call and an email from Tanya Genack with the same song and dance. So, if you like a dealership to bother you year after year then this is the place to go. I have made it a personal goal to tell everyone I come in contact with to avoid this place at all cost!

This may be the rudest, non-thinking dealership ever. Particularly their sales manager. I'm coming off a Kia lease and wanted to know my options. One of the sales people started to help me but the sales manager, a buffoon of a fellow, came in to ruin everything. He wouldn't give me ANY information unless I was prepared to buy something right then. I told him I just want to know my options and then will decide what to do. He told me that I'd just take his offer and go elsewhere. Strange since I drove 40 minutes to go to that dealership. So he wants me to get offers from other dealers and come back to him. That means he planned on NOT giving me any better offer than he had to. Net is...STAY AWAY from this dealership. They don't care about you and they don't care about their sales staff.

My husband and I are in the market for a car, and we had thought we had found one suitable for our needs. The advertised price was 9789 and we had a confirmation in writing from these people that it would be tax title license and doc only after that. We arrived at the location yesterday to close the deal. Keep in mind, we had agreed on a price. When they came back, the papers said that the base price of the car was 10,000 even. We asked them about this and they wrote in a correction of 9789. They then took our info, our bank card, and our IDs and when they came back with the corrected paper, the price of the car still read 10,000, and they had added on a warranty and licensing fee they hadn't told us about. Least to say, we finally brokered a deal: no warranty, license fee we would take and the base price was 9789. He took the paperwork back for approval by the GM and STILL the base price of the car was 10,000 when he came back. At this point, we were getting angry. We thought we had agreed on the base price of the car and we had the Internet add to prove it as well as emails from the sales rep from the day before to indicate that this was the plan. Finally, the closer says that they can't do 9789. We wrote them out and offer for the car and gave them one final chance to sell it, they said no and we left. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here, they WILL try to take you and they WILL lie to your face then try to pass it off when you catch them. Don't think that you're different from us either, that you will drive them into a corner and get what you want, you won't. They could care less about you, you aren't even a human being to this place.

tend to keep cars 10 -15 years, and I've been to every corner of Maricopa County to test drive cars over the last 3 to 4 years looking for my next vehicle. Sometimes the perfect car is not at the perfect dealership. Other times the perfect dealership doesn't have a car that you want. We went to many dealerships and finally ended up at Camelback Kia at 730 at night, but the staff weren't bothered by our late arrival and were happy to show up the hard time find vehicle that had just come in that day (still had plastics over all the wheels and no fluids), they were able to beat my bank financing and got me a 3.9% interest rate and took $500 off for financing thru them. They have a really quick turn around, cleaned out my car and washed it before I got it back and even when dropping it off for the quote, one of the guys gave me a ride to work so I won't have to pay for a cab because my car was in the shop. Also, in the service dept, as for Gabby. He will definitely take care of you and not make you get repairs and service that is not needed.

EASIEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Let me start out by saying that I absolutely DESPISE high-pressure sales. Car dealerships are notorious for that very thing. But, there's a simple trick to avoid falling prey to their evil wiles. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH! Before you put yourself into a high-pressure sales situation, arm yourself with knowledge. Know what you want before you get there. That way, the salesperson is merely the one who helps you fill out the paperwork and gives you your keys.

There was an obvious difference in the quality of my experience this time. The new service manager has been a great improvement to the department. He was visible and actively involved in the daily operations. Kevin did an excellent job of keeping me informed of the process and was very friendly and respectful. Good job all around.

One visit to this dealership changed my opinion of car dealers dramatically. In the past I have been lied to and decieved. The folks at this dealership went above and beyond to help me find the right vehicle and got me a lower payment than I was originally expecting. I am one very happy customer!

I went to Camelback Kia last weekend to look at a used Optima that I had seen online. I was not as impressed with the used car in person, but to my surprise I qualified for a brand new one with a much lower interest rate than I had originally planned on. I ended up with a brand new car and paying less! The staff was awesome and super helpful in getting me approved, in a new car and on my way.

Wonderful, simple, prompt buying experience. Worked my deal with the Internet Manager, Kevin, over the phone. Came in and he had the call pulled up for me. Got a great deal and love my new Soul. I was in and out within the hour! Would recommend to anyone who needs a new Kia!

I had been in a car accident that totaled out my old car and was forced to go car shopping. I visited a few dealerships close to home prior to coming to Camelback Kia and I was furious with the way I was treated. The experience I had here blew the other guys out of the water! I was able to test drive several cars before I made my decision and it was as simple as it gets. I am happy with my car, payment and the customer service I received from Nick and the rest of the staff.

I accompanied by grandmother to Camelback Kia to purchase a car last week and was impressed with the way they do business. I was worried about the dealership taking advantage of an elderly lady, but it was quite the opposite. There was no walking the lot or dealership run around. Farhad, our salesman pulled the vehicle up for us and took great care of us. We were able to test drive several cars before she made a decision. I will keep them in mind the next time I am in the market to buy a car.

I had basically the same experience as Jordan22. The dealership kept shifting me from one person to another, saying it was all no problem and I could get the used car I wanted for the terms I wanted. What it finally came down to was that through high pressure tactics, I got payments over $40 per payment higher, they charged me sales tax on my trade in (illegal) and said the only way to get the car loan was to accept something called MPP (Maintenance protection plan). They undervalued my trade in. They told me I would be required to pay payments every two weeks, which means two extra payments per year. Fool that I am, I agreed and signed. When I got the car home and read the manual, it said that at 60,000 miles I had to replace the timing belt and water pump, which I never had experienced on any car before. When I bought the car, it was only 400 miles shy of 60,000, so it became my responsibility to get it fixed. The problem is that I'm on social security and must save up for several months to even afford that, let alone make my payments. I had asked them at the dealership if there was anything that needed to be done on the car and they said no, that it was in great condition. I made them aware of my financial situation and they lied and told me I'd be fine with the car for a long time. I'm in my third month now and have recently notified the Better Business Bureau of the issues with the experience at the dealership and have filed a claim with them to get the issues resolved. I would recommend this dealership to NO ONE ever. I'm 68 and stuck with a poor deal from an unscrupulous business. Don't ever consider them.

was accompanying a friend of mine while he searched for a used car. The whole thing started out well enough. He knew the model, price range, monthly payment, and conditions that were acceptable for him. This was all clearly expressed to the salesman (we'll call him "Bob") within the first 2 minutes of introducing himself to us. We finally landed on a vehicle that he liked and while the sticker price was not in his range, "Bob" assured us that we could get it much lower and shouldn't have any issues with keeping the payments in the acceptable range. "Bob" began to write out what he presumed he could manage in terms of conditions. My friend informed him that he was interested in any potential discounts or incentives (he is a military veteran) and that he would also be using a family member as a cosigner. "Bob" ball-parked him a figure and it was over $150 more a month than he had expressed he was comfortable with. He told him that was not even close to what he would be able to afford and that maybe we should look at something with a lower asking price/monthly payment. "Bob" insisted he could make it work and proceeded to go back to his mock terms and scribble and cross things out. He told us that this is all just speculation and that if his cosigner had great credit that he's certain they could arrange something in his price range. We stepped outside and spent a while talking and trying to decide what we wanted to do. After about 30 minutes, no doubt fearing we would leave the lot, "Bob" came rushing out. "I've got great news! We can do it, we can get those terms met." I specifically made "Bob" tell us, verbatim, that he could get his monthly payments under the max limit we had set..... and he lied right to our faces. Being the naive new car buyers that we are, we decided to start the paperwork so they could do the credit checks and give us an exact number. "Bob" assured us they would find the best loan terms possible and it would only require them to run the credit check once. This was true, at least for that night. We asked about any potential veterans discounts or incentives and "Bob" told us the extra "$500 or whatever" wouldn't matter as the deal he was creating would be better. We had been at the dealership for 2-3 hours at this point and "Bob" obviously had something more important to be doing as he started to try and accelerate everything. He began talking faster and any questions we asked were either met with reserved answers or dismissed entirely. At one point while my friend was talking to his cosigner on the phone, "Bob" told him to hang up and that we didn't need anything else from him. When my friend finally did end his conversation and set his phone down, I kid you not, "Bob" reached over the desk and pressed the End Call button on his phone. They ran their credit checks and "Bob" presented my friend with the "approved terms". The terms were just barely ($0.08 under) within his limit. After another hour or more of paperwork we were directed over to the finance department while "Bob" detailed and got the car ready. "Bob" told us to not feel pressured by them as they will try to sell us things and it will increase the monthly payment amount. Of course, "Bob" deliberately mislead us about what exactly the "Certified Used Warranty" that was indicated on the lot sticker entailed. Before we went to the finance department we asked "Bob" about the warranty and he told us he wasn't entirely sure what it covered and didn't want to give us false information. The finance guy advised us that since the car had more than 60k miles, it had no warranty and my friend would have to purchase one. Fantastic! After another 30-45 minutes of haggling with the finance guy my friend magically got a warranty for $20 extra a month. It was initially quoted as $100 extra a month. I wonder how much it's really worth. After 5 hours of being pressured, lied to, manipulated, mislead, and disrespected, it was finally over. Or so we thought. A few days later they called him to have him come back to the lot because they may have found better loan terms. Turns out all the loans they presented him had payments $100-$200 higher with much higher interest rates. They led us to believe he had already been approved for a loan through one of their banks. We were never told that was not the case and were deliberately misled and misinformed. Instead they ran their credit 18 times searching for a bank that would provide the loan. We were openly skeptical that my friend would be approved for a loan that would meet his budget but were assured and flat out lied to that it wouldn't be a problem. The car is currently parked, waiting for them to collect it and return his down payment.

The overall experience was terrible, the first night we were there just to look at cars and get an idea on prices. The salesman we worked that night was not the one I purchased my car through and called me repeatedly, which I found unprofessional. The day I went in to buy the experience was very tiresome, we were there about 6 hours trying to make a deal and only when we would threaten to leave would they be willing to try and make a deal happen. Paperwork was done and got the car but apparently that was not the end of it. After having the car a week they called saying I needed to come in to "finalize" my financing paperwork, which was not the case. When I was originally in the dealership they didn't have a for sure answer on my financing and after a week they did, but that was not disclosed to me. I understand according to the contract that they can give me the car even if it's not finalized but it states I must be informed if the contract is canceled, which I wasn't. Bad business, the way they work is shady in my opinion and I wouldn't recommend wasting your time.

I don't know how these people sleep at night. It was one lie after another. Spent six hours of arguing, made the deal only for them to change their mind a week later and raise the price because of the bank. DO NOT SHOP THERE! I wish I would have seen these reviews before I wasted my time.

Worst experience ever!!! Seven hours of torture. The worst thing about this dealership, is the lack of communication. They really do not care about customer satisfaction. We've tried numerous times to resolve our issue, but absolutely NO ONE has done anything to take care of the problem. If you really are interested in buying a Kia... go someplace else.

DO NOT GO TO CAMELBAK KIA - UNETHICAL!! We worked out a deal for a car and was told that it would come in from California in a couple of days. Those couple of days turned into 9 days until we eventually found out from doing some of our own searching around that there was never a car. Although our salesman, Frank, repeatedly told us that our car was in transport, but that he could never get a hold of the transport driver. However, when I asked for the name of the dealership that our car was coming from, they could not answer. On top of that, they cashed our $5000 deposit! Not only did they flat out lie about the car and that it was in transport, but they cashed our deposit for a car that didn't even exist! DO NOT GO TO CAMELBAK KIA!!!

I received very poor service from Steve Kohl. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone who is not ready to buy a showroom floor model car. Steve Kohl will tell you that you are wasting his time. If you MUST go to this location ask for Lisa Bene-if not steer clear. Last week I called Camelback Kia and Steve Kohl answered. I explained to him my less than stellar credit situation, told him what my down payment would be, and expressed my need for a car. I asked Steve Kohl if he could work with me, he said yes and invited me down. When I arrived he was with another lady, and passed me off to Tom, the store manager, who was very personable and helpful. We did the numbers and he let me know I could not get a new car but I did have some options. Since I was very transparent about my situation from the first call, I was okay with this news. Tom did, however, let me know I had options. Unfortunately, the first car that I was shown made me feel as though I was being punked- I wish I had taken a picture. The car was a 2008 Toyota Corolla. The car was filthy, it had bird droppings on it, was covered in dirt, dirt on the floor, stained seats, and had a bad odor. To give you an idea of the state of the car- the old radio was still on the stained back seat as if it had been recently ripped out. I went along with this idea just to humor Tom and be a good sport. When we went out to test drive the car, the engine sounded as if it was going to fall out-it roared and hissed loudly as we crept down out of the lot. We had not fully left the lot before I exclaimed, This is NOT going to work! Much to my surprise Tom agreed and suggested we return to the lot- assuring me this car would not be sold. Tom then explained they would look for something better. Honestly, I felt like as though they no longer wanted my business once they brought this car out. The car did not seem representative of a large dealer like this. Instead, it looked like it had been stolen or had been long forgotten and abandoned on the side of a garage. Bringing it out to me made me feel like this is how they looked at me as a customer. Yet, I maintained my resolve to buy a car that day. I was not deterred and decided to give Tom the benefit of the doubt. This is where things went south. While I waited, Steve Kohl brought around a 2009 Scion. I did not know this was my second choice because I could never get a list of what my options were- even after asking to see a list. Go figure- everyone was too busy to look online at their own webpage- which I Lisa Bene finally did hours later. Steve Kohl brought the car to the front. He got out of the car and walked towards the door. I was standing some distance away and noticed the car began to roll backwards. I screamed The car is rolling back. Steve stopped, look at me confused, so I yelled again The car is rolling! By this time Lisa and I (yes the customer) had begun to run towards the car and Steve joined in. The three of us managed to stop the car just as it made contact with another vehicle. I do need to point out that there is a small decline in the pavement that allowed the car to roll backwards fast enough that we- again, this including myself (the potential customer) had to run to stop it to avoid damaging the car. I would also like to note that Steve Kohl told me that this was not the 1st time he had let something like this happen. The first time was he recklessly damaged a car was when he forgot to close the door- somehow the result was a damaged door, which he had to pay for. After helping stop the car. Steve told me Well, this is the car. Do you want to drive it? I agreed. Car was okay- I did not love it but was not unhappy. We returned to the dealership. Once there I explained to him that this was not going to be the car from me. He insisted he could work with me on the listed price of $10991. When he came back from tapping on his computer- apparently looking at a list of cars that I could not see even after asking several times- he had no other options and the price for the Scion was STILL at $10991. I reminded him that he said he would work with the price. He responded, What do you want? What if I take $1000 off? He seemed agitated at this point. I later found out the car was already priced online for approx. $9888 or something- so this was NOT him doing me any favors on his part. At this point, his agitation was very apparent and I again thanked him and said this was not the car for me. He insisted he could find something so I repeat my request to see all my options. Instead of going back into the office to tinker on his computer, he told me he had a Camry. I asked how much the car was priced. His agitation quickly turned to outright rudeness. Steve Kohl said What does that matter? and insisted that we see it before talking numbers. I explained that there was no need to see the car if it was outside of my price range. Steve Kohl then said Well you are wasting my time and his (Tom) time. He then compared me asking how much the car was before seeing it to buying a pair of shoes. REALLY? He said, You wouldnt buy a pair of shoes if you didnt like them, would you? This did happen and he did in fact compare car buying to shoe buying. REALLY? By now, the disrespect and rudeness was intolerable. Completely, rejected and insulted, I reached out my hand to thank him a 3rd time for his time and effort, at which point he turned his back and began to walk away while I was trying to thank him for his time. Taken aback, I asked him why he had gotten so rude. With his back turned to me and his hand thrown up Steves response was, I am trying to help you out and you dont know what you want. I was completely upset and felt as though my patronage meant nothing to him because I was in no position to purchase the same caliber of car that he has just sold, which he mentioned during the test drive-as the reason he was distracted from me. I began to walk away- upset, angry and confused at being treated in such a way after I told him on two previous occasions that I appreciated his help but was no longer interested. And each time he insisted to look further.Instead of leaving I went back to the sales office and a gentleman told him I would like to speak to him. I expected Steve Kohl to show some professionalism to me and his working co-workers and come out of the office to speak to me but instead he continued to file papers at the file cabinet. He eventually turned to me and said, You can say whatever it is right here. I let him know I did not appreciate his rudeness and the way he spoke to me. I become overwhelmed with emotion and my voice began to shake- holding back tears as he tried to explain away his rudeness. Then we began to have a very vocal and heated exchange. No cursing was done but the disdain was felt by all. When I told Steve Kohl, regardless of whether I bought a car or not, he did not have to be rude. Steve Kohls response was Well you were rude to me. Not the case- confirmed by Tom who was sitting there and came to my defense. While he may have said this because that is what managers do and was just trying to appease me, I felt it was sincere as my exchange with him, while brief was pleasant and most of all professional. In the excitement of the exchange Lisa Bene showed up and followed me outside to help me calm down. She told me she did not know Steve Kohl well and only had few words with him. After such a terrible experience with Steve Kohl, Lisa Bene worked overtime to calm me down and sell me the car- she was effective in doing both. Her professionalism was unwavering and she was empathetic to what I had just gone through with Steve Kohl. She witnessed some of the exchange and was able to bring some calm. I want to note that the reason I stayed is because she was willing to get the payments to what I could afford and still have wiggle room. I believe that had I not had such a terrible experience with Steve Kohl, I would not have been able to get the payments I wanted. It was more of an Im sorry for Steves behavior deal. That being said, I am glad Lisa stayed the course with me. I believe that Steve Kohls unprofessional behavior and rudeness will be shrugged off and I will be viewed as the disgruntled customer, even though I was told he would be reprimanded or It will be handled. I needed a car and Lisa worked hard to get me that car at a lower monthly rate than I may have even gotten from the amazing, professional and patient, Thomas Blessin at AutoNation Fiat- and I am wholly grateful for that. However, I can say with certainty that I would not recommend this dealer- more specifically- Steve Kohl- to anyone that does not have the money to buy the car right from the showroom floor. I would instead recommend a fast Willie- Buy Here, Pay here dealer because at least you would get treated better because he has no qualms about not you not being able to afford the floor model car. Go across the street, or down the street, or the AutoNation Fiat and ask for Thomas Blessin, if you are greeted by Steve Kohl. Lastly, I do not generally take the time to share my bad experiences, I actually spend the energy to post reviews of the good experiences I have. However, this situation warranted a review. This was my experience, my perspective, and whether it is dismissed discontented customer-note that I did purchase a car Lisa Bene, which suggests that I was not unreasonable or disagreeable in my requests to fully understand my options. This was my experience and I say Steve Kohls whole name to make sure people associate his name with poor service.

My husband and I went against our better judgement and chose to purchase our car from Camelback Kia rather than our preferred spot. The low prices pulled us in, but now we wished we paid more for better customer service. My husband went to their dealership to scope out the selection. He told them that he would bring me the next day to take a look. We went back the next day and it was a ghost town. Trash was everywhere, the offices looked ransacked, and no one was there. We called and they told us they moved locations that day. Why wouldn't someone tell my husband that the day before? We ignored the red flag and went to their new location. When we asked to test drive a certain car, they couldn't find the keys. So, we picked a different car, and they couldn't find those either. So, essentially they had to tell us which cars we could drive because they were completely disorganized. We ignored the red flag again. We decided on the car we wanted and then started going through the paperwork and car-buying essentials. We were asked for our licenses, proof of insurance, and so on. We gave them everything they requested, including emailing a copy of our insurance to the sales guy's manager, who took over when the person we were working with was called away. After filling out all the paperwork, we waited and waited for the car to be ready. Apparently there was some miscommunication between detailing and the manager we were working with and we waited a good hour before we could leave. As we drove off the lot, I realized they hadn't even filled up the gas tank for us, which I thought was pretty standard to fill up the gas tank, especially since we bought a brand new car. We knew then we would never go back, but it only got worse. Two weeks later, my husband got a call from Camelback Kia telling us that we never gave them the necessary documents and they couldn't approve the loan. I called them back and they told me that we never gave them our licenses or proof of insurance. When I confronted them with the fact that we did and we even emailed it to Fernando, the manager, then they admitted that they lost it. The question remains why they felt they needed to blame us for their disorganization and lack of professionalism. At this point, we were ready to give the car back. They told us we had to drive back to Phoenix and give them the requested information. They didn't care about how they made the mistake and how much of an inconvenience it was for us to drop everything and go down there. So, we waited until the weekend and went back to Camelback Kia to sort it out. They left us in the waiting room for over an hour before someone came to talk to us. They obviously didn't care about their customers or correcting their own mistakes. When we finally got to talk to someone, we had to explain everything because he wasn't up-to-date on the situation. He offered us a lot of free stuff, but the damage was done, and we refused it all.Even after all this, my husband received four calls from their sales department asking if we wanted to buy a car, after we just bought one!And we found out that the nice sales guy we worked with was fired, but the manager, Fernando, is still there, even though he's the one who lost our documents.Whatever you do, don't go to Camelback Kia. They're inconsiderate, unprofessional, disorganized, and put blame on the customers when it's their own fault. Purchasing a car is an investment, so make sure you choose a dealership that is going to treat their customers better. Camelback Kia means weeks of hassles and accusations. And who needs that?We will never go back to Camelback Kia, and we tell everyone about our experience. We ignored those many red flags, and we still regret it.

I went to change in a car that was messed up by someone else. While doing this process the agents went and told my business to someone I did not want to know what was going on. I have not gotten a car from them and don't think I will. They have created more problems for me when it should have been an easy process.

I never want to return to this dealership. I don't even want to drive by it. Customer Service is just so bad that there is no way to explain it. All I needed was some minor repairs performed that couldn't be done on the day of purchase. Weeks later, several trips to the dealership and promises made, nothing was accomplished until I nearly had a break down in the lobby. No organization, no communication, lots of finger pointing, not my department, broken promises. Phone calls and emails not returned. After two weeks and speaking with several people in Service, Sales, Finance etc. I was given to Susan Srebernak, Customer Relations Manager. Can't say that she was any more skilled, helpful or friendly then the rest. Phone calls and emails left unanswered by her and the GM as well. The worst part of the experience is, they seem to have no idea how bad they made it for me. Took the joy right out of my new car.

After being hounded by sales calls I decided to check out the Buy Back program. They made a lot of promises and couldn't follow through with any of them. When they realized this instead of owning up to their errors and false advertising, they blew me off. Not once but TWICE! After a week of being forgotten I received a call from their customer service department asking how my buying experience was. At that time I was given to a "manager" who promised he would get back in touch with me and help me out. NOPE. So then I got several more sales calls from people about how they have moved locations and they can do this and that. All I wanted was for them to do what they said they could do from the beginning or at least own up to their car salesman lies. But you will NOT get that from them. I won't be coming here for my car maintenance or purchasing a new one from you in the future. And I will make darn sure that my friends and family don't either!

DO NOT go to Camelback Kia! I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! The sales staff here is extremely shady and will blatantly lie just to tell you what you want to hear. It began when I received a call saying that they had the car I was looking for on the lot. I quickly drove over (a 40 min drive for me) to find out that the car could no longer be found but they had one down the street. 4 hours later, they still cant locate this car (how hard is it to locate a car) and then mention that they have a car in Vegas and will send someone to drive it down. I clearly stated that I did not want a car driven from Vegas; they obliged and I agreed to wait a few more weeks until they found a different one that was closer.I ended up getting a call that my car was finally in and ready to go, only to find out that they DID send someone to drive it from Vegas. I also mentioned that I did not want the dealer installed options (which included door guards, tinting, paint protection, etc.) but they would not agree to this as their entire inventory supposedly already has the options installed. Since the car was from Vegas, it didnt make sense that their specific dealership options were already installed. When I get to the dealership to pick up my ready to go car, NONE of the options are installed and they wanted me to come back again! They tell me when I come back that it should only take about an hour because Ill have an appointment set up. When I get there for my appointment, the service department could not find that anything was ever scheduled in their system which ends in me waiting for the dealer installed options that I did not want in the first place to be installed after 4 hours! Lastly, my salesman (Rob Koperno) told me multiple times that he would give me an iPod cable. On my final visit, I had mentioned the cable and he said that they ran out of cables and have not had any for the 2014 Optima in a while Why even mention that youll give me a cable if you dont have one and KNOW that Im purchasing a 2014 Optima?!This place is absolutely ridiculous! Dont waste your time, money, or sanity by coming here. I do, however, give credit to Eddie Angulo in service for being very friendly and helpful.

Camelback Hyundai Kia is a very unethical, dishonest dealership. We recently purchased a used lexus from them, and are really regretting that decision. The car was advertised as having remote keyless entry, but when we purchased the car and the time came to leave with it we were informed that all we would receive for the car was one key that was not a remote. After arguing with them over it for two weeks now, they still will not honor the way the car was advertised. The car also came with a navigation system. Since the car is a 2005, we asked in our negotiations over price that the navigation be updated with a current version of software. The sales manager agreed at the time of sale to do so, and even included it in writing in the we owe paperwork, but now they are refusing to do so. We have asked for manager after manager, and cannot get anyone to honor what was agreed upon at the time of purchase. We are now wondering what use the warranty we purchased from them will be if they do not honor their promises. It is a black and white case of being lied to. Since we have proof of their dishonesty in writing, we are now hiring a lawyer.

The customer service at this location is HORRIBLE. The finance department will NEVER return a call much less answer their phone. The receptionist that answer the phones are all RUDE as well. I can never get ahold of anyone. When I go in to the dealership to talk to them face to face they are either Conveniently OFF that day or BUSY. I sat there for over 3 hours to talk to my finance director to later be informed that he had already gone home. If I would have known how DUMB and RUDE theis staff was, I would never have bought my car there. Steer clear of this place and give your business to someone who cares!

Went to this dealership in Nov 2013 to purchase a new vehicle for myself and daughter this transaction went very well with the people that I worked with unfortunately had a car accident Dec 2013 and the car was totaled , had the car delivered back to the dealership. Went thru the process with the insurance and waited to have car paid off. Decided that I wanted another Kia so went back thinking that I would receive the same service started out that way but ended completely different. Was told by finance that the deal would be structured the exact same way since I had just put down $1250.00 a few prior, so why would I put another large amount down. Went to the dealership with myself and my daughter more times than I can count to sign paperwork that was a hour waiting period each time. Normally when I go to the dealership my daughter is with me making sure that all the numbers match warranty etc. We got 2nd car at the end of Dec January 30 went to the dealership without my daughter to sign paperwork finance spoke with my daughter and stated that everything was the same as last deal nothing to worry about WRONGGGGGGG they changed extended warranty , removed GAP insurance then put that there was $1000 deposit that wasnt discussed with me nor my daughter. Was advised that we may need to put down $500.00 my daughter gave a post dated check if this was needed but was told on the 1st deal that since she wasnt on the loan she couldnt use her check however they still accepted never notified us if we needed payment or not. My daughter called and texted finance person from January 28,2014 to Feb 22,2014 regarding warranty and payment but was ignored also called and went to dealership still couldnt get a answer. Strangely we receive a collections letter stating that we owe $1000 for a car that we have had for a little over 3 months. Called the number on the letter still waiting on call back, called finance no response called the Customer Relations Manager Susan left 3 voice mails still no response back . This is a very poor way to do business now everyone is quite I will never purchase from this dealership again and will tell anyone not to go there also, one thing I despise is being taking advantage off. As i write this post still have not gotten a response from anyway.

I went to the tent sale back in January of 2014 after Cindy referred me to the tent sale, and the sales employee for Camelback Kia at the tent sale was very nice and helped us buy a fairly new used car within a reasonable budget. Had not specific brands in mind but ended up with a 2011 Honda Fit with roughly 60,000 miles on it, still a bit high for 10k but still reasonable for a Honda. They said that the plate on the old vehicle used to trade in could be used and that's what we preferred, however that was not the case. The closer it had gotten to the end of the temporary registration, The more I had to call them and ADOT to see where the tags are for the plate I wanted to use. ADOT had said that Camelback Kia was using a third party to conduct my tags and that was perfectly okay, but why so long? Camelback Kia was definitely not helpful, always putting me on hold and telling me not to worry, it will be here before my temps expire. I finally called them again a few days before it was to expire and they told me they were registering it then and now and I finally thought I was making progress. Well When I call ADOT to see where they would be, instead of using my old plate they are sending me one of the new crappy Arizona plates, not something I wanted. The lady with ADOT said when both tags arrive, the one for the new plates and the old plate I have to go down to the MVD myself and fix this whole mess. Finally to top it all off I will have to make an hour long journey to this establishment for them to only print me up another temporary plate and continue to wait it out. Not a place I would recommend

Save your time, money and sanity. Do not go to Camelback kia/hyundia. This dealership is Horrible, horrible, horrible the absolute worst experience I've ever had. They could care less about the customer. I was there for 5 hours and was never explained anything about the vehicle I was interested in. They were very non informative I had to look up information on the internet cause they didn't know facts about the car I was interested in. I had looked on the internet prior to coming up to the dealership and found that they had the exact vehicle I was interested in and spoke with the rob koperno on the phone and he told me he put his hands on the vehicle I was interested in and guaranteed me that it was there. Amazingly when I got there they didn't have that vehicle so I should have just turned around right then and left since I was clearly already being lied to but they then told me they guaranteed that they could find that exact vehicle I wanted and get it to there dealership. After waiting for what felt like forever they come back and said they couldn't find that exact vehicle and proceeded to lie some more about what a great deal they could make me on another vehicle. After a while they sent out the sales manager his name was Chris tafoya. Chris tafoya the sales manager was the worst person I had to deal with by far. He was so rude and condescending it made me sick. If he comes out to talk with you about your payment or the numbers, run in the other direction before the lies start rolling out. Then after hours of back and forth they said they worked out the numbers and were sending me inside to finish up everything with Darlene in finance. At that time I was just glad to be getting away from the sales manager Chris tafoya. Darlene was very uninformative and just kept throwing the papers at me to sign. Every time I asked a question she deflected it and said that my salesman rob koperno would answer all my questions when we were done. Another lie. I also noticed that there wasn't a lien holder on my contract and asked why that was and again she said my salesman would answer all those question as soon as we were done. After I finished with Darlene I went back out to my salesman rob koperno and asked him the questions I had and he surprisingly said Darlene should have answered those questions for you and he didn't have any of those answers and he told me I should have just asked darlene those questions. They just kept passing the blame to each other. This a horribly run and managed company please save yourself the horrible experience and steer very clear of this place. They are not to be trusted. Everything they tell you will be a lie, so please go somewhere else and save yourself the time, money and sanity.

On Jan 5,2014, I visited Camelback Kia. I didn't have the intention of buying a car that day. I went to pick up my mother who was leaving her car for service. As I was waiting, I met with Terrance Ransom. Terrance was very knowledgeable and very respectful as he presented a 2013 kia optima. He offered to allow me to take the vehicle out for a test drive. During the test drive, Terrance answered all my questions and also advised me of all the features in the vehicle. Not once did I feel pressured into buying the car. May I add that I am not an easy person to convince. Once we arrived at the dealership, Terrance was very tentative to my mother and I. He worked out a great deal with me and stayed with us until paperwork was finalized. Terrance also made sure that the little minor things with the car were taken care of. I would highly recommend anyone interested in a vehicle to ask for Terrance Ransom.

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE.....The sales people and the finance department are all liars. Last year I leased a car from this dealership and purchased a vehicle protection plan. I wasnt provided the orignal documents (which needless to say is my fault for walking out that day without them but I was extremely tired because the whole deal took about 8 hours from start to finish. I actually think that is their technique so they can have shady deals) Anyhow, I continued to request for a copy of my deal especially for the vehicle protection plan. I never had a response. After going back and forth with them (several different people because their turnover is crazy) today I find out I do not have the vehicle protection plan. I was signed up for another plan which is not what was told to me. Despite the fact I showed them text messages and was willing to show emails that this is not what i was told they continued to say sorry but you didnt purchase the plan. At the end of the day I did purchase the plan and someone messed up and hit the wrong button and now I am needless to say assed out. I was soo upset and they didnt do anything to try to fix it. I repeat they are alll liars do not trust them and looking at this site I am not the only one that feels that way BEWARE

I visited Camelback Kia on October 19, 2013, to look for a used car <$10K, <60K miles. There were no cars matching my criteria on the front lot so I was taken to the back lot to look at cars that had been taken in on trade that day. From those, I selected a 2005 Kia Sportage with 66K miles. I worked with my salesperson, Marissa, to negotiate a good price, $9,500, and secure financing. I signed all the paperwork for the car and completed the transaction, or so I thought... Because the car had just been taken in that day, I was told that it needed to be inspected and detailed by the service department before it would be available for me to pick up. At that time, I was told that the car would be available as early as Sunday, October 20th or, by the very latest, Wednesday, October 23, 2013. I called each day to check on the progress and was continually assured that the car would be ready as promised. On Tuesday, October 22, 2013, however, the staff stopped returning my calls. Finally, on Wednesday, October 23, I received a call from the sales manager, Robert, who informed me that the car that I thought I'd purchased was never actually Camelback Kia's to sell. Apparently, the couple who'd traded in the Kia Sportage were unhappy with the terms of their deal and had not signed the car over to the dealership. At that time, I told Robert that there were two ways they could make me happy: 1) deliver the Kia Sportage ASAP once it became theirs and, in the interim, provide me with a loaner car or 2) sell me an equivalent (or nicer) vehicle for the same price. Robert (the scoundrel) told me over the phone that they had two vehicles ready for sale that would work: 1) a 2009 Kia Rondo priced at $10,900 and 2) a 2009 Nissan Versa priced at $9,995. Based on that information, I drove 45 minutes to the dealership to look at the options. There, I settled on the Kia Rondo; however, Robert then informed me that the car was not $10,900 as promised but now was priced at $12,000+. I call shenanigans!!!Not only did Robert flat out lie to me on the phone about the price of the car but, when I balked at the price increase, he told me, "I don't care if you buy the car of not." So much for customer service! When I told Robert that I was going to file complaints with the BBB and the AZ Attorney General, he became irrate and accused me of "threatening him". Hardly. I was merely informing him that I planned to report him and Camelback Kia for what I view to be, if not illegal, highly unethical business practices.

She picked out the car she wanted and with it being the Holiday sales event the deal took longer than expected so I was considering what I wanted to do in front of the sales person, MJ. The MJ asked me if I would consider a Kia Optima and I hated to go sit at another dealership for 4 hours so I agreed to try an Optima. I liked the car and we proceeded to see if the numbers would work. After the first round of negotiations the sales person came back and showed me the numbers. The numbers were not too close so the sales person said he needed to get me more for the trade in. At this point MJ asked me, How is the car?. He didnt look at me he when he asked he was focused on the paper with the numbers. I replied to him, It has some oxidation worse than the first car I brought him and a small oil leak, but other than that I consider it good.. MJ just flicked his hand at me like those things did not matter, but I really felt like he was not even listening to me. We went back and forth a little bit more and we came to an agreementor so I thought. It was quite an ordeal to get the car, but 2 days later MJ and another person George brought me a car and took my trade-in. It ended up being more of a car than I had first agreed on (It had uvo and back up camera), but MJ said, We just made the numbers come out the same anyway. MJ and George came back to my house the next day because they forgot to get a temporary license plate and never mentioned anything about my trade-in. About 10 days later I received a call from the Frank Ruiz at the dealership, he told me I had to come down there, and to put more money down. They had decided that my car was worth less than they had originally appraised it for. Remember 2 sales people came to my house originally and they came back to my house the next day. The sales reps said nothing about the trade in either time. I told them that I did not have any more money to put down, but I drove down there to understand what was going on. I told them I did not have any more money. They said that the car was badly damaged and it needed a paint job. I explained that I told the sales person that the car was oxidized, had an oil leak, and he did not seem to care. As far as the other damage I am not sure what they were referring too as I am not a car person. The car (to me) runs fine and still does. The worse person I had to deal with was Darlene Pizano. She was condescending to me when I told her I was not aware of any damage. She kept asking me if I was saying that the dealership did the damage. One other statement was, OH so you dont drive the car. I finally had to ask why she was talking to me like the way she was and that I was not saying anything other than I didnt know what damage they were talking about whether it was at the dealership or at my house. Still to this day they will not even tell me what damage they are talking about. I am wondering if they damaged something and they are putting it on me now. Finally, the GM Robert Revere came into the office and said, We are going to take the car back and give you your car. Your car is out front. Being naive and not knowing the legalities of everything I felt I had to agree because I did not have any more money. As I was driving home I felt like something was not right. We have a signed contract that they would give me a new car and they would take my car as a trade in. When I left they did not have me sign anything to the contrary. Then I thought well what if I wanted to return my wifes car after 10 days would they take it back? Of course they would not take it back. They would tell me tough, right. What allows them to bully me into taking my car back? I told them to the best of my knowledge the status of the car and they agreed to the deal sight unseen. I am not an expert in cars, they are. Thats why they have appraisers. I was in their dealership for my wife and they made me an offer when I told them I had an appointment elsewhere. Now I am being told that because of the signed contract I am obligated to the new vehicle and that I do not own the car I tried to trade in because I signed it over to the dealership. I tried talking to the GM Robert again, but he just talked over me telling him I owe them more money. This really does not feel right and I am told that this could be fraud. At the very least this is not how to handle business.

Bought my Kia here last year, didn't get my contract from fiance agent, drove back next day, discovered they added in some security fee! Had them take it off. Didn't really think much about it, this year my son asked me to cosigned on a loan for him , Camelback Kia had been sending me emails , calling my house and mailing me buy back offers ,to the point that it was getting annoying , but because one of these emails had an offer for 12,999 on a new Kia soul! I took him their , I asked for the out the door bottom line price. Sales man said 15,600 with Kia rebate and sons trade , that he said would be $500 but turned out to be $250. Told finance agent Justin I wanted a 4 year contract , he talked us into a warranty that covered everything for 2,000, dents, paint, oil changes , towing, rental, everything all for one low price , sign here, sign here , very! Very! Friendly, you would never suspect that he was changing the paper work around !! Our payment on this new amount was to be $318 on a 48 month contract with my sons trade and down payment , sign here!! AND AGAIN DID NOT RECEIVE MY CONTRACT PAPER, but some of the other papers I saw made me suspect that he was being charged for more than we bargained for! So I called the very next day talked to Darlene in finance and was assured that that was not the case and it truly was all included in one price, but they had to break it down like that because of the financing and if I looked at my contract ( the one I didn't receive ) I would be Able to see it , so I requested a copy of the contract and told her that we never got our copy! Went to a car payment calculator , and at 48 months everything LOOKED OK!! But one month latter and still no copy of the contract, after two more requests and promises to get that over to me right away, I get a letter from Kia stating our pay off amount , and the term of the financing ! JUSTIN HAD CHANGE IT FROM 48 months to 60 months , so the increased amount would go unnoticed in our payment! After receiving this I called to talk to a manager and was told none was available , And I would need to talk to Justin! Long story short until I told a young lady buying a car to read everything very carefully , and not to sign anything unless she read it very carefully, and make sure she got her contract, then a manager came over and pulled out the contract and very condescendingly said did you sign this, is this your signature ,over and over again! Then asked me to wait in a private office, away from the sales floor, the young lady was so put off by the way he was treating me that her and her mother left, then a man ask to talk to me about what happen and another manager ( who looked more like a bouncer ) spoke very aggressively to me , told me I needed to leave NOW, and my business their was done, I told him I was having all the warranties takin off, and had to wait for my son to sign off on it, he demanded I go in one of the offices, shut the door and again said repeatedly did you sign this , is this your signature , in the same condescending tone as the other manager! When I ask to see the tapes that they record in finance , to show him the lies Justin had said, he refused ! I WOULDN'T SEND MY WORST ENEMY HERE , THE WORST CAR DEALER THAT I'VE EVER DELT WITH , AND I WILL POST ON EVERY SITE , SO THAT NO ONE WILL EVER HAVE TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID! And if you see any 5 star ratings for Camelback Kia , you should know that the dealers are writing them, they read just like an advertisement ! My niece works in an office and any time someone post a bad review , the whole office is told to write a lot of good ones to counteract any of the bad ones!

Fraud or Total Incompetence-Be Afraid, Be Very Afraid!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Recommend this dealer? No Purchased a vehicle from this dealer? Yes Problem: I purchased a 2011 Certified Pre-owned Kia Sorento from Nick Mayer Kia (purchased by Camelback Kia), but the $1,849.00 ten year Manufacturer Wrap warranty policy I purchased via $185.00 down payment wasn't initiated by the dealership. If you value integrity and customer service-I can only suggest you seek to do business with a reputable dealer!I tried from the date of my vehicle purchase in mid September to obtain the specific coverage and exclusions of the extended warranty policy offered by the dealership. My complaint to Kia Consumer Assistance finally resulted in my referral to a meeting with Joel Thomas, Sales Manager on November 29, 2012. He apologized profusely for the complete lack of communication and customer service Id experienced. He instructed Eric in Finance to immediately complete my contract to purchase the Manufacturer Wrap policy, after which I waited in vain to receive a coupon payment book or to be advised of the specifics of the payment process. No paperwork was forthcoming and I then met with Shon Reynolds, Service Manager on December 28, 2012 at which time he personally completed a new policy contract and accepted my down payment of $185.00. He indicated nothing happened following the initial policy purchase paperwork because the dealership did not have the remainder of the required forms and emphatically stated that they dropped the ball. Then I waited to review my credit card statement because the monthly payments were specified to be charged to my American Express effective in January 2013. When the deduction for the monthly payment was not reflected, I immediately contacted Shon again. He was advised that the policy was cancelled and the down payment refunded to the dealership But obviously I neither cancelled it, nor was advised of the cancellation nor was the down payment refunded to me! Shon said he had exhausted all resources to try to help me (in light of the interim dealership transition to Camelback Kia). I referred the case to Channel 12 Call 12 For Action for assistance with my unsuccessful attempts at problem resolution. They contacted Gabe, dealership Finance Director on repeated occasions with his promise to contact me, but he made no attempt to ever contact me. I contacted two different business consultants representing Nick Mayer Lincoln Mercury dealership in Cleveland, OH, who were charged with responsibility for resolution of any issues related to transition of the dealership to Camelback Kia. Both promised on more than one occasion to contact the Camelback Kia Finance Department to initiate the Manufacturer Wrap warranty policy I contracted for (reported by one of the reps to be "an easy fix"). However, despite my text and voicemail messages, they repeatedly failed to keep their promise to call me back. I am uncertain if I am a victim of outright fraud or total dealership incompetence or both, but six months following the initiation of the original warranty policy contract I neither have a policy or the refund of my $185.00 down payment or the courtesy of a return call from this dealership in an attempt to rectify this incomprehensible injustice. Again if you value integrity and customer service-I can only suggest you seek to do business with a reputable dealer. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Dealership ExperienceHow quickly did the dealer respond to your email inquiries? All the people I worked with were very friendly. The reason I gave the "Quality of work" an OK was because I had to come in and get another car. I bought the first car, and 2008 Kia Spectra, at the end of March. After waiting ~55 days and not receiving my license plate, I called the AZMVD and they said they had not received the paperwork from the dealership. So, I went to the dealership and after some research they told me that my car, which I had been driving for nearly two months, would never pass emissions so I had to give them the car back and get another one. They worked with me and I am now in a better car at a good price, so I am happy overall but that was disappointing.

I own a 2004 Kia Sedona. And, I love it. So, I sold my friend on the idea of getting a Kia when she became ready to purchase a new vehicle. My vehicle was going into the Service Department to have some work done on it so she came in with me.We had the WORST EXPERIENCE ever!! My friend and I spent 5 hours there looking for a pre-owned vehicle that she could afford. You know, one that would have the monthly payments in the range she was looking for. After 5 hours, the salesperson found one that they could get her into. So, she started the paperwork process. When it was time for her to sign the last piece of paperwork...it was a "Lease Agreement". It was her understanding (and mine) that she was trading her vehicle in on the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle. So, she asked for her keys back and said she was leaving. She was not going to "lease" anything!! The person that was helping with the deal on the finance side of it...walked around the showroom floor and very loudly kept saying he didn't know what her problem was...she signed the paperwork...all she had to do was sign the contract and the vehicle would be hers!!! The saleperson went over to her and asked what had happened...what did he say to you? What can I do to make it right? What can I do to get you into a vehicle today? Tell me what you want! I'll do whatever I can to help you. She said you can give me my keys back so I can go home. He went on to tell her that he had explained to her that they weren't able to get her approved for a vehicle in her price range. But, they could "lease" her one...in her price range!! I jumped in and said...no, I was there. You never told her it was a "lease". As a matter of fact, she told you (more than once) that she did not want to "lease". She wanted to trade her car in on the purchase of a pre-owned vehicle. That other man was still walking around the showroom and down the hall towards the Service Department saying very loundly....I don't know what her problem is...all she has to do is sign the contract and the vehicle is hers!!! I said, would you please just give her the keys to her car so we can go home!! We've been here for over 5 hours now!! They finally gave her keys back and let us go home. They were so unprofessional!! I would NEVER buy a vehicle from there. You can pay attention to this warning as to how you may be treated...or not! It's up to you! Don't say I didn't warn you!!

I had a horrible initial sales experience but after a year of trying to resolve issues through lower management, the GM of this dealership helped restore a little bit of faith in the integrity of this business for me. Thank you guys (Todd and Mike) for cleaning up after mistakes made a year ago.

I went online and Anthony called me right away..was waiting for us when we got to the dealership.was very patient and went thru and explained the differences between the Sorento Ex and Lx showed us compareable vehicles. was upfront with what we were looking at for payments..there were no last minute surprises! Even after purchasing an extended warranty we still paid less than we expected to pay. Anthony G and the finance guy Alex made car buying a very pleasant experience.

Great customer service. Best new car buying experience in 30 years. My wife and i were greeted and treated with respect the minute we drove on the lot. Tom followed up with a call later in the day to give us another option to the vehicle we were looking at. we;'ll be back.

I recently purchased a hyundai from Nick Mayer,I worked with MJ. A couple weeks later my friend mentioned that she had been car hunting and couldnt find anything that she thought was worth the money they were asking for. I told her to try Nick Mayer and make sure that she talked to MJ. She did, and she loved it just as much as me, if not more!! she said that MJ worked with her budget and understood exactly what she was looking for in a car. Needless to say, she drove off in a new Acura and now she's the new spokeswoman for NM. She tells anyone and everyone who will listen about how great they were. Thanks again MJ!!

Anthony was great. Overall the experience was good but the additional cost added in the back by the finance guy really ticked us off. Still, we needed the extended warranty so it is what it is.

Had worked with several dealers via email and phone as I am very busy and can't waste my days off in a dealership all day. I decided on a dealer close to my house and picked out a car and worked what I thought an amazing deal. The deal felt rushed and the sales people seemed too smooth and talked way too fast. Right before going to finance I gave the car a one last walk around and noticed 2 small dents on the hood. After 3 hours I was upset and left without my new car. It was one of the last 2012 Optima's in town with the features I wanted.Reached out to several other dealers via email and right from the start I know Nick Mayer Kia was going to be different.I had the numbers from my failed sale from the dealer in Scottsdale and quickly Paolo said no problem and got to work. He didnt have the car on the lot but would transfer one in before I arrived. He promised it would be worth my drive from Gilbert. To sum it up I ended up getting a 2013 for a better deal than I was getting at the other dealer for a 2012 model year. No pressure on the the extras in the finance dept. Just to the point and I felt my time was appriciated.Paolo was very professional and went to work for me the second I emailed him and kept in contact all day on what was going on. After an hour and a half, I came out very happy with my 2013 Optima purchase! I'm not much of a review writer unless credit is deserved and Paolo you deserved this one my friend!Daniel G.

Everyone was amazing to work with! After having several bad experiences with other dealers I was relieved and impressed with the level of service I received from the moment I started working with the team. It was a pleasure.

I worked with Paolo on trading in my 2006 H3 for the new Hyundai Sonata, which was what I thought I wanted and had my mind made up on color and interior! Then I drove the Kia Optima, initially I did not like the interior of the Optima but comparing the EX to the base model Hyundai I quickly changed my mind and I got a better car for the same price as the lower model Sonata.I LOVE the Kia, it looks great, drives beautifully and I feel like I got a good deal on my truck and the new car. I plan to have it for a very long time. Thanks Paolo!!

My husband and I wanted to trade in our vehicle for a newer one. My husband started working with Christopher Robinson, and he has been the best car salesman we have ever worked with. Very friendly, fast, courteous and not pushy at all. He answered every question we had with a very skilled and polite answer. I will be recommending him to everyone I know. His finance manager, Tom Berra, was also a huge pleasure to work with. This dealership has gone above and beyond. I have ALWAYS hated going to dealerships or even looking at them because of the way they hound u and pressure you, but this dealership was amazing. We then got sent to go sign papers and this is where more pressure is usually applied. We worked with Cory C and he was quick and friendly also. Josh was also very pleasant and incredibly friendly. This has been the best experience at a dealership that we have ever had.

Great dealership to shop for a Hyundai or Kia. As with most dealerships, their price comes in a little high but is negotiable. My wife can't sand sitting in a dealership, so she leaves the shopping to me - which makes it awkward when trying to make the final decision about the comfort of the car (she has a bad back, the seats need to be "just right"). Michael let me take the car home over-night so I could take her for a ride to get her unpressured opinion, with no commitment yet on my part. Frankie (Fleet & Internet Director) got involved to make the final figures fit for me...he went to bat and was able to get a higher trade in value for me which is what I needed to clinch the deal. I'm loving my new loaded 2012 Kia Sportage EX!!! Thanks Nick Mayer crew!

Never before have I been so happy with how they go out of their way to make you feel important and valued. They did everything they could to make this deal happen and never did they treat me as if I was a hassle or a waste of their time. GREAT GREAT people and service.

This review is being written due to the best customer service we received from a sales representative named Paolo Castro of Nick Mayer Dealership at their Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona location. He is very courteous, polite, and pleasant to talk with which was totally opposite of another dealership experience whose slogan is "No Bull About It". The experience we encountered at the other dealership was an unpleasant customer service to the point we will never return to them.My wife and I were loyal customers with Saturn since 1992 and only discontinued due to GM no longer producing the vehicle. We wanted a dealership that is more interested with providing TOP NOTCH customer service and looking for lifetime customers in lieu of ensuring they made their sales quota. We left Nick Mayer feeling as though we found that type of customer service working with Paolo Castro during this purchase. Through the help of our son who is in the Army and stationed out-of-state, Paolo agreed to a price and guaranteed our son no haggling over it when we came to sign the contract. And that is just what happened, unlike the other dealership. He also told our son that we would be out with our new vehicle in a certain period of time and that was held true as well. No hassles, no miscommunication, and no "let me talk with my manager" - just outstanding service received from him.As previously mentioned, we have dealt with other car sales representatives but he (Paolo Castro) is the BEST - bar none. He was prompt to ask, understand, and precisely provide what we wanted in customer service and product satisfaction. We believe Nick Mayer customer service is good but with the type of attention and support we received from Paolo Castro he is what can make it outstanding. We are pleased to express our total and sincere appreciation with him. He deserves recognition from no less the dealership owner because his type of service overall is OUTSTANDING!Terrence-Diane

My only concern is the constant change of service writers. The have a hard Imelda getting the service drive cleared out from cars oming in. John the service manager is great but oldies it seems like he s hearing cats. And this is the best of all the Ka dealerships that. Have visited. I'm counting on John to pul it together.

The overall experience at NM Kia was in simple terms...phenominal!! Gary Timmons was very helpful, extremely knowledgable, and above all, POLITE. You really don't find that very often in people anymore!! There was work that needed to be done on my car and I really didn't quite understand all of it, but that young man took the time to explain to me exactly what needed to be done and WHY it needed to be done. The level of knowledge was astounding.Because of that courteous, polite and attentive young man, I will be a continued customer of Nick Mayer Kia.Sincerely,Samantha Stambaugh

I was connected to Paolo through one of the online car sites. I had specific requirements that were not easy to find. I first tried another Kia dealer that is closer to my house and after about 15 minutes I was told that what I wanted could not be found. Period the end. When I spoke with Paolo he told me that my request was a challenge but he would look for what I wanted. 30 minutes later he told me that he couldn't find it in Arizona but would look out of state. The next morning he called to tell me he had found exactly what I wanted but because it was out of state the cost would be highter. He had also taken the initiative to find a car that was almost exactly what we wanted - paying attention to the 2 most important factors and ensuring that the car had those attributes. He explained that the car was at a sister dealership.I brought my trade in to be appriased and discuss the terms of the deal. Each step of the way, the commitments Paolo's made on the phone were honored. We had to go back to the sales manager to get a bit more on the trade but within 45 minutes we had a deal that I don't think anyone will beat.I hate buying cars but Paolo made this really easy.

Hi I resently was looking for a Kia Soul and A Scion! I was contacted by Richard Cross, the Internet Sales Manager at Nick Mayer Kia, and was informed of all the great aspects of the Soul compared to the Scion and was very impressed with the options and remarkably inexpensive pricing! I was so completely satistfied and confident in my purchase I sent the check from USAA Credit Union 2 days before I showed up, due to the excellent phone presentation!I came all the way from Tucson and it was worth the drive, when I got there everyone was so friendly and made it a quick and easy process for me! Richard Did everything he promised and then some! He was informative of the product and made me feel like a friend!I will recommand anyone who is looking for a Kia or Hyundai (they have both, how great is that, as Richard said "one stop shopping store", Cute and cheesy and funny)to stop by Nick Mayer Hyundai/Kia first and to definately see Richard. Thanks to Sam Quinna for his quick follow up to make sure my experience was up to his high standards! Very Happy Customer Pamela Buck
