The sales team were great, we were allowed to test drive 2 vehicles, all by ourselves? Which gave us a chance to get a sandwich, and not be hungry or cranky during the deal making process. When we returned, we were greeted again, and they already knew what they could offer on that particular vehicle. We pick a car that is a used but in great condition. We even got a copy on the carfax, low mileage, no wrecks, and we can afford the payments. These gentle man made the experience a good and easy. We were in and out in one afternoon and driving an awesome, fun car. That's a win, win for all.... If you're in the market to buy a car, go to Cardinale, it's a great place and my experience was the best it's ever been.... Sincerely.

Extremely courteous staff. They really do want your business. Everyone at the dealership was approachable from the General Manager to the receptionist. Excellent telephone manners were the deciding factor in visiting the dealership. Alfonso, at the service desk explained the work to be done and kept his promise on the cost. Open, honest, courteous. Very competitive pricing for service work. Excellent work performed.

The staff at Cardinale Volkswagen are many but they seem to share one mission, to provide excellent service. The entire team of sales people and managers were very attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant. For me buying a car is usually a long process of shopping around and negotiating, and so I was impressed by their professionalism and recognition of what I wanted, which was VALUE. This is one dealership that delivers value but the people is what makes it priceless.

Words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for the group at Cardinale Volkswagen in Salinas. They are by far THE BEST car dealership around! As cliche as this may sound, they were fast, friendly, funny and they made me feel like family! I was greeted with smiles and friendly conversations.....and never did I feel pressured. Was pre-approved within minutes and found the car I wanted! I can honestly say that I was made to feel like a member of their family and will gladly refer my family and friends to Cardinale Volkswagen for any new or used car purchase.

Great Service! I went in for an oil change without an appointment. I explained to Arthur (If I remember correctly) that it was the only day I had some time off work (and it was a little late in the day too!) and he was happy to have me come in. I got there and he promptly took my information and had my car serviced and washed. During the time I was there, he constantly would come back to inform me of what was going on with my car. I actually waited less time than I did when I had an appointment so it was great! Overall, great service!

I'm a one time customer who flew in from Canada to purchase a private vehicle, complete repairs and drive home. The customer service was top notch and above and beyond. Not only did they fix the vehicle, they spent time helping me get needed paperwork faxed to the border, explained some questions about the vehicle title, helped with a travel permit, and stayed overtime to get me on my way. Pretty hard to beat that kind of service!

Such a beautiful car - I am so thrilled and excited to own a VW Jetta! Steve went above and beyond in every respect to make sure all of my needs were met and my questions answered. He spent so much time explaining to me and my family all of the details about the car (inside and out), the warranty, and the buying process. I am so grateful! Though there was an issue at first on the contract that needed revision, the Cardinale team fixed the problem. Thank you, Steve (and VW Cardinale) for a wonderful new vehicle, and very attentive service!

Jonas did an excellent professional job of selling me the car. Test ride was on rural rough roads as well as the freeway to get a good understanding of the car, ride and comfort. Went over all the technical parts of the car thoroughly. He also set up the Double Check appointment with the Service Department. He followed up with a call to make sure that all expectations were met. Arthur, advisor in the Service Department, very responsive. Asked if there were any problems or concern related to the car. Told him that the car drifted slightly to the right, got right on it, technician verified it and was repaired right away. Explained what was done during the Double Check and showed me the data from the front end alignment before and after results. The car was test driven to verify that the front end was aligned. Excellent experience. The gentlemen at Cardinale are technically trained and responsive.

Like the sales force, the service guys are great. Were able to fit me in on a Saturday, car was in and out for a 10K service in slightly over an hour. Outstanding attitude, outstanding service. Five stars all the way. Thanks, Arthur!

Everyone here, especially Debbie are extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. The fact that I was able to communicate through Text messages made the refinance process so much easier. I was able to reply at my convenience and their replies were always quick and friendly. I have bought and refinanced my car through this dealership, as well as gone there for all my car check-ups. The service is always amazing. The people are always nice and all my car shopping needs were met!

I WOULD DEFINETLY RECCOMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE GREAT SERVICE! HELPFULL AND MOST OF ALL THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ACTUALLY HELP ME AND DIDN'T JUST TURN ME DOWN LIKE OTHER DEALERSHIPS WHEN THEY SAW THAT I HAD LESS THAN GOOD CREDIT. DEBBIE AND JESUS MAKE A GREAT TEAM THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!

when i test drove my new vw, the salesman promised to tint my windows and put sport rims on my car. there was no mention of it in the paperwork and i never heard back from them. always get everything in writing there. i kept calling the dealership but they kept giving me the run around.

I bought a jetta back in June.The sales guy is friendly and helpful so the deal went smoothly.However, when move to the finance guy, everything changed.He lied to us and tried to let us buy warranty and features.He mentioned to us the monthly payment will increase about $30~40 if I purchase Gap + LoJack + alarm system.Its really a great deal so I did purchase it.I later found out, he didnt tell me the payment also become to 72 from 60 months.Then I went back to cancelled all of it after one week.The finance guys tried to convince me dont cancell it or buy other features instead. I insist so both of us sign on a paper and he said will process it for me.One month later i called back, the finance guys said it took 45 days to process, so I keep waiting.Two months later I call back, the other guys tried again to convince me not cancel ot or buy other feature instead.Today I called, and the guys said "My manager said we can cancel the Gap for you but the LoJack and alarm are not refundable"They didnt tell me that was not refundable after two months?Are they liar or dealer ship?Are all other VW dealers the same as this one?

I have a 2004 Touareg...It was a few months out of warranty and the drive shaft needed replacing....It was going to be about $1200.00....Jesse called VW on my behalf, and I didn't have to pay anything...I was literally shocked..I thought maybe they'd give me a few hunderd off, but Jesse told care of it all since I'm a good customer and have gone to Cardinale many times....Thank you Jesse!!!!!!

I bought a VW trailer hitch from the Wester VW dealership and installed it myself. Five mouths later I took it to Cardinale VW because the electrical never worked after installation. They charged we $100 to diagnosis the problem which they said was with the trailer, not the hitch. I took it to a professional hitch business and they said it was the wiring inside the VW hitch. I took it back to Cardinale and they looked at the problem twice and came to the same conclusion, it was a connection problem inside the VW hitch. They ordered parts and labor to repair the problem was over $500. I asked why this was not covered under warranty. The dealer and VW Customer Service said that the hitch had a 12-month warranty and since that time had expired, the part was not covered. I argued that I first brought the hitch problem well within the 12 warranty period, that they failed to diagnosis the problem, charged we for the service covered under warranty, and now you want to charge me for parts and labor after they finally found the problem they should have found in the first place when the part was under warranty.I plan to litigate. Any one else have similar issues with this dealer? Help we rid this pestilence from our community!! rogerpittman57athotmail.com
