I cannot say enough as to the great experience we had while shopping and purchasing a car from Certified Headquarters. I took my daughter there to start her search to buying her 1st car. Our salesman was Lou & he was absolutely amazing. He asked her what types of cars she was interested in and her budget. He took the time to explain to her the different types of vehicles w/in her budget and which ones would be best in the price range she was looking for. He never tried to show her something that was more expensive than she wanted to spend or push a car on her to get the sale. He even said if she didn’t see what she was looking for that they can find her the vehicle she wants in her price range or to check back because they’re always getting new cars delivered. I was very impressed, most places will try anything to get you to not leave w/out buying something, so talk about no pressure!! She found a vehicle she loved and then we dealt w/ Brian for the financing. He too went over & beyond to get her a rate that would be low enough and w/in her budget so she would be able to purchase the car, which for a 1st time car buyer & someone w/ barely any credit was not an easy task to get! Both Lou & Brian were awesome, They were honest, trustworthy, and do their best for the customers! We couldn’t be happier, she loves her car and it never went over her budget. I will be recommending Certified Headquarters to all our family & friends and my husband will be needing a car in a few months and we will be heading straight back!

In 2014 I purchased a car from this dealership, shortly after I ran into some problems that were for sure going to be covered under their “bumper-to-bumper warrantee“ that they mandate you to purchase. When none of this happened the owner proceeded to call me harassed me and argue with me, I left a poor review and then he called and threatened to sue me for defamation of character, at the time I was a high school student, now somebody who’s attended law school I know that’s illegal. I just wanted to update my review to see exactly what my experience was.

We spent some time looking for a used car. We live in Manhattan and haven’t needed or wanted one. We went to a couple of dealers close to home and did not love the experience. We went to see Brian at Certified Headquarters on a strong recommendation and could not be more pleased. He has great inventory in a variety of price ranges and is a straight shooter. There was no pressure to make a purchase and Brian patiently answered all of our questions. This was my first time buying a car from a dealer. All of my previous vehicles were purchased used from individuals. Brian made the process seamless and gave us a really fair price. We bought a 2014 model that looked like it just came off the factory floor. It is pristine. So pleased with the car and the experience.

We had the best experience with Lou. Do not go to any other dealer before going to Certified Headquarters. First of all you get treated like family, secondly there are no grubby dishonest salesmen. You are not sold cars you are HELPED picking a car! BIGGGG DIFFERENCE. Most dealers and salespeople lie and up sell their cars and tack on exorbitant “fees” Not Certified Headquarters, what you see is what you get the price is what it is. They are transparent, and honest and Lou is very friendly has integrity. We had a most memorable experience that was smooth and stress free. I can’t say enough good things about him and his company. Please please please check them out you will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything. We highly recommend this dealership. ❤️

After looking at countless dealers for a clean rust free Jeep TJ, I finally found a really nice one one at Certified HQ. They're picky about the cars they choose to sell and it shows. What's more, I was in and out with great financing in one day. To top that, there were unexpected mechanical problems and when I called Brian (the owner) he said to bring it right back and they would correct any problem without question, which they absolutely did. It's a pleasure to deal with everyone there and like the other reviews say you get straight answers, no pressure, quality cars sold by guys with integrity who stand behind their product.

I bought my truck from these folks and I had an excellent transaction! I saw this truck online and was very interested. Being one hundred miles from the dealer discouraged me from running right out to look at it. Lou went above and beyond spending a bunch of time with me on the phone answering all my questions. I think he even got under the truck to tell me about the frame! I reluctantly went to look at the truck thinking I would be disappointed. I was not. Beautiful truck that was well taken care of! And Lou, once again, went out of his way to make sure the truck was ready to roll up to its new home in the country! Transaction at dealership was smooth, and I was on my way within an hour! I also think I got a very good deal. I would totally recommend buying from this dealer. To my children, as well as friends. I would also be a repeat customer. I knew what I wanted and that helped but dealing with Lou helped a lot! He was reasonable and fair. I hope my review helps :-)

I recently bought a pre-owned Hyundai Elantra at Certified Headquarters. Not only did they work with me regarding the terms and price, but they went out of their way to find the car that was right of me. There was no pushy sale people here at all. The people from the salesman to the contract person to the owner himself, made this a pleasurable and calm experience. All their line of pre-owned cars looked great.I would recommend them to anyone, I will be back down the road myself.

Recently I was forced to make a change in vehicles due to the long commute to work as well as some events arising in the near future. I went car shopping for quite some time and shopped around. I stumbled across this dealership mainly due to the positive responses from this review board. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with respect and the up most professionalism I have experienced while car shopping. I ended up being helped by Matt, along with James and Brian. All three helped my figure out what my best solution would be. Fortunately enough, what I was looking for was within their possession. There were no hidden fees with our transaction. They were up front and explained everything from top to bottom. They offered me a fair deal on my vehicle trade in, and in return proposed a fair deal with my new vehicle in return. I recently bought a 2014 Honda Ridgeline from Brian at Certified Headquarters. He was great to deal with. He got me exactly what I was was looking with in a week. I recently bought a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee at a very realistic price, the salesman, Lou, was helpful and pleasant. Minor repairs that he pointed out were made. They also put on new tires when I pointed out that the existing tires would pass inspection, but were close to needing to be replaced. Also came up with a good loan rate. The whole transaction was pleasant and professional. It was worth the trip from Mattituck to make the purchase.

I had a great experience all around. From my salesman Bill to the finance manager James all the way up to Brian the owner all treated me like a family. They worked with me on my trade in and on the vehicle I was purchasing (2014 Ram 1500). They even worked with my own bank to help get the financing done. The day I went to pick up my truck I was surprising my kids and they even worked with me on that. Great people and first time in a long time I felt good after I left a car dealership. Bought a Lincoln LS from them last week. Car is in amazing shape, a couple things I mentioned to them didn't get fixed, but I can't complain. Guys were amazing and took the time to deal with all the issues that were brought up during financing. Great dealership. The salesmen are helpful, knowledgable, and willing to negotiate. They sell good cars and are honest with their pricing (no last minute add-ons here!). I have had my car for almost two years now (and added another 45000 miles on it in that time) and it still runs great. Ask for Lou Argerakis he was a doll!

I want to thank Lou, James and Brian for all their time and help in getting me into the car of my dreams a Mercedes convertible. Lou went out of his way to assist me in any way he could and it was a pleasure in dealing with him and the personnel of certified headquarters. Lou my sales guy was very hard working. Getting me the right truck that i needed. James in finance made it an easy process and found me a great deal with TFCU. Brian, the owner was great. Not only did he get me exactly what I wanted and needed, he made sure the truck was perfect before I took it home. Overall a great experience that I will remember when I go to purchase my next vehicle. You guys have a customer for life, no doubt!

I purchased a Toyota Solara convertible from this dealership on May 5th, I had an amazing buying experience, the salesmen Lou was exceptional, he answered every question I had, filled me in on every detail of the buying process, and wasn't pushy at all. James handled my financing and that went great as well, he got me a low interest rate and a warranty. The car is beautiful and the dealership it's self is very clean and welcoming. I went in, saw the car, loved it, drove it home 3 days later detailed and all. I would absolutely recommend them and buy from them again myself.

I am a first time car buyer and I heard about certified headquarters from an online add. Bruce was by far the most honest salesman I've ever met , he wasn't pushy and answered every question I had. I have bad credit and after speaking with james the finance guy I was assured I was in the right place. Overall what a great group of guys they did everything they could and got me into a nice used jeep for a great price. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a great deal without all the bs that comes with other dealerships , if I could give 10 stars id give 20. We purchased a Honda Odyssey from Lou and he was the opposite of those pushy used car dealers you always hear about. He was friendly, truthful, helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us privacy to check out the van completely and he was easily available to answer any questions. He also made sure all our concerns were handled before we picked up the van. He made the process so seamless. Lou also went above and beyond. After having the van for a couple of days I went to get keys made and found out that I had to purchase the keys from Honda because the keys have chips in them. The key and entry remote was well over $200.00. I called Lou and he contacted the original owner and got the spare set for me. Like most of the folks who have left reviews and comments here, I have nothing but good things to say about Certified Headquarters. We got the car that we wanted at a fair price with no hidden fees or surprises. We felt very comfortable dealing with the Certified staff and never felt any pressure or need to keep our guard up. I noticed there is one bad review of Certified Headquarters on Cars.com and I thought Brian responded appropriately and in a very professional manner. As it turns out we got the vehicle the unhappy customer wanted. We walked into the showroom around lunch time and drove our new van home before dinner time. The entire transaction was smooth and painless, including arriving at a mutually agreeable trade in allowance on our old vehicle. Brian has been selling cars for a long time and is working hard to maintain his reputation for good honest service. As "Honest" Abe said, "you can't please all of the people all of the time," but I honestly believe Brian and his staff are doing their best to try and do just that.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from Brian. Certified Headquarters came highly recommended by a good friend. The first car purchased was a 2003 Toyota Camry Solara. It was purchased sight unseen. My friend told me about the car and the excellent condition it was in, so I trusted her judgement. I still drive the car today WITHOUT incident. I had such a great experience with my purchase, I went back to Certified when my mother needed a car without hesitation. My mother purchased a 2003 Mercury Marquis in pristine condition with low mileage. The car is beautiful and my mother is extremely happy. I recommend Brian and the staff at Certified Headquarters to anyone interested in purchasing a used car.

Had a great experience at this dealership .They were the last stop we made after a long day of car shopping .We needed a bigger vehicle but were on a tight budget , the salesman let us test drive three vehicles he said would meet our needs and that were in the range that we could afford .They did not do the typical run to the guy at the big desk and run us through hours of negotiating . We made our deal within 5 minutes , it was a pleasure buying from this place , they were upfront and honest . We picked up our new car the next afternoon and the finance manager got us in and out in 15 minutes , no hidden fee's , the payment we were quoted the prior day was the exact payment we left with . Great guys , great service I recommend them highly.

In May 2013, I purchased a 2000 Toyota 4 Runner from the guys at Certified Headquarters in St. James NY. This vehicle is very clean and has below average mileage. I initially spoke with James who was enjoying a day off when I came in to look at the auto, so Bruce took my son, a master tech with Toyota, and myself out for a test drive. Certified was asking one price and I made a counter offer. Bruce needed a day to get an approval from his boss to accept my offer. Bruce called me back the next day with the OK on my offer; I arranged for financing that same day and the day after that, I drove off their lot the owner of my new, used vehicle. I am very satisfied with my 4 Runner and want to send a Thanks out to Bruce and James. If you're looking for a quality used auto, I would highly recommend stopping in at Certified Headquarters and talking to Bruce or James, they'll do you right.

I went into this dealership looking to trade my 2008 Hyundai Sonata Limited with 59000 Miles. We were looking to buy a 2007 Honda Odyssey they had for sale. According to Book Value, our vehicle was worth a little over $8000 Dollars. After my wife test drove the odyssey and loved it, we went inside to see how much they were going to give us for our vehicle. The odyssey was listed at $12,995 so after taxes and DMV fees I expected to have a loan of about $6000. We were told by the Owner Brian that they were trying to get us a loan for the full amount of the Odyssey. He then told us, that all the bank fees would eat up the amount of the car we were trading in! They were trying to get our vehicle for free! Do Not Shop At Certified Headquarters in St. James, they will definately try and rip you off!! Stay Clear of this Buisness!!!! Additionally, when a salesperson asks how much you can afford on monthly payments, the RED FLAGS should be raised and you should leave immediately!! WE DID!!
