Lets start with the bad and end with the good. My brand new truck unfortunately had to get towed and I chose to have it towed to this shop since I bought it here and the purchase process was AMAZING. Sales and Service are totally different so keep that in mind. To start, they claimed to not have a loaner while my truck was being repaired, I would have driven anything they had in the inventory to prevent from being down. Next up, very little communication offered. I had to follow up at the end of the day and I had to ask what was happened and what causes that sort of issue (bent pushrod after only 10k miles). Lastly, once it was repaired, they would not bring the vehicle to me or arrange for courtesy transportation. I had to get transportation to the dealership to pick up my truck. I could have had it towed to the dealership within walking distance of my office but instead I wanted the local owned dealer that sold me the truck to have the business, thinking with them being smaller I would have a better service experience. With that said, the great part is the truck was fixed the next day and the inconvenience of not having transportation was minimal. Would I recommend them? Yes. Would I suggest they improve on their communication and their customer offerings, HECK yes! Did my world come crashing down because of these circumstances, NOPE. Will I go back to them? Hopefully not, but if the truck breaks down again, you bet I will and hopefully the experience will be better.

I bought a used 2016 equinox with 27k on It was certified with warranty. After 6 weeks the battery went out.I took it to the service department and was told quickly that it was not warranted. I told them I had to have a new one then.They took it back and installed one. 220+ dollars. 62 dollars service charge...a year and a half later the battery died.Iwent back and told them the situation. They said that they would have to charge me for several things they would have to do but the battery was still in warranty. I said no and went to Craigs and got one installed for less than one half the price. I absolutely do not recommend the service department...

From my first email/phone contact with Erik Brown and throughout the buying process, I couldn't ask for a better professional saleman. He returned my emails and calls quickly. No high pressure, straight forward, and trustworthy all the way--from beginning and closing on my vehicle. A great experience in all transactions and Erik went beyond all expectations in helping make the sell a smooth one. The same took place with finalizing things with the management--he worked with us in a great manner. I highly recommend Erik and all the staff at Champion Auto Group! This was a very large purchase for us buying two at one time. Erik, Jeff and all the staff truly made this a easy and exciting process. I was able to do everything over the phone and get exactly what I asked for with no surprises when we arrived to sign. Highly Recommend!!!

I've purchased several vehicles from Champion Chevrolet, Dodge, Jeep in Athens, Alabama and most of them from Chad Carter. I keep going back to this dealership because they offer a fair price and excellent customer service that I expect from a car dealer. I purchased most of my vehicles through Chad Carter although Barry Tucker and the other sales people represent the same excellent customer service. Chad should write a book on customer service because he is there for the sale but also supports his customers after the sale. My salesman was Donnie Marlow At Champion Chevrolet.Donnie as well as all the guys at Champion were very pleasant to work with on the purchase of my new truck.
