Dave Knapp Ford is awesome. I live in Indiana and started my search looking for a mustang. I ran across one they had on their lot. Right year, right options, right mileage. I called them and started talking to a guy named Ron. Ron and I did the whole deal over the phone. After many many phone calls and text I finally was able to make the 2 1/2 hour drive. When I got there the car and Ron where waiting. I did a test drive and we made the deal official. My experience with Ron and Dave Knapp Ford was truly awesome. In the future when I look for any other vehicle, I will be looking to Dave Knapp first. The entire staff was amazing and made my experience with them truly painless.

Purchasing from Dave Knapp Ford was by far the best experience when buying a car. I previously had a fantastic experience at Porsche of Wichita, but these guys at Dave Knapp know how to run a business and sell cars. Noah my salesman was fantastic. Extremely helpful, provided perfect pictures, videos and details of the car. However, it didn't stop there. The sale manager Steve went above and beyond in ways that are unheard of from a car dealership. I had a driver waiting for me upon landing at the airport 45 mins away from the dealership. The car was exactly like it was described. They ensured that I was happy with every little detail. Even though this was a used car, the experience was as if this was a brand new car leaving their lot. Full tank of gas and ready for a long drive home. There was not a single person at that dealership that was not concerned of my experience at Dave Knapp Ford. Every soul there was tremendously friendly and helpful. You're treated like family throughout the entire process. The professionalism at this dealership is by far the one best in the business. My hats off to the gentlemen running this business. I will be back to purchase a car from these guys again and again. Thanks for everything.

I want to first say that I have purchased quite a few cars in my past, but this is the first time we have purchased one from Dave Knapp. My parents had purchased from them in the past and raved about the experience so we thought we would check them out. After this experience I will never shop elsewhere. A few weeks back my husband and I went into Dave Knapp's to look at a truck that he saw online. Our intentions were to trade in our old truck and get him into something newer, nicer and more reliable. Prior to heading out I called and spoke with Jason Cox who was very kind and helpful. He asked when we were planning to come and offered to get some of the process going while we headed that way. When we arrived he had the truck pulled up with tags on it already for us to take for a spin. We were upfront with what we wanted and what type of payment we were looking for. They never haggled us and there was no back and forth game which I truly appreciated and they were even able to offer a better deal than we expected! Travis Dixon , Stevie S., and Jason Cox helped us in so many ways! First they were able to help us with a situation that came up regarding our trade in. Then I had started chatting with them regarding my small car and had asked about refinancing it because I wanted to save money to eventually get into an SUV. These gentleman started working their magic and before I knew it I too was looking at a new car! I purchased a larger vehicle and SAVED money on my monthly payments!! That's right we bought not one but two cars that day:) We worked with Rodney on some of the paperwork and he too was wonderful. He even came in on his day off to ensure that it was completed for us. Kelsey in the service department assisted us two different times with bringing our truck in to make sure things were in tip top shape and working properly. She was very friendly and helpful each time she called, ensuring we were not inconvenienced and providing us with a very nice vehicle while ours was in the shop. Normally you leave dealerships frustrated, annoyed and usually with a headache. This was definitely not the case with Dave Knapp! You couldn't wipe the smiles off our faces that day if you tried. Even now, weeks later we are still shocked that we were able to save ourselves money AND walk out with TWO beautiful and reliable vehicles. The customer service at this company is top notch. I cannot say enough about the great experience we had with all of the employees we came in contact with. We will be back for future vehicles and we will definitely recommend them to friends, family and anyone we know that is looking!!!

My daughter and future son in-law first encountered Dave Knapp after an accident totaling the car. A traumatic experience and the biggest financial decision thus far. Joe was amazing, providing all the information needed along with ways Dave Knapp helps customers in this scenario. Ultimately, the decision was made to buy a replacement vehicle. The kids worked with Jason, who once again made it apparent Dave Knapp is committed to vesting in the relationship rather than the transaction. Can't say enough about Dave Knapp Ford, Joe, Jason, and Travis. This is a unique dealership with old school ways, building trust and confidence with their customers. Thank you!!

I have been car shopping for 6 Months. I went into Dave Knapp's to look at a specific car. I ended up buying something different at a great price. My sales person, Angela was awesome. Car service department also treated me with great respect. All I can say is Dave Knapp employees made me feel at home, shows interest in what I had to say. Very welcoming place. I would recommend.

i went to Dave Knapp to look into buying a Ford Taurus SHO they had on the lot. It was used, 76K miles, but in great condition. the asking price was $34,000 which was a little high, but i figured i could talk them down a little with my edmunds review which had a normal price of $26,500. I talked to Jim as a salesman and he wouldnt even show the the car i wanted to see. He tried pressuring me into a new 2015 ford F150, even after i told him i already owned a truck and was looking for a car. Then he told me they didnt have the Taurus i was looking for anymore, even though it was sitting right in front of the lot. At that point I told him i wanted to speak to the lead salesperson. When i talked to him, they told me the taurus wasnt for sale anymore, even though another fellow was looking at it at the same time I was there. After telling them i did not want a truck, they tried to sell me a brand new ford focus, which i declined. They then told me they couldnt do business with them unless i was interested in the brand new F150. i walked over to the guy at the Taurus, and he heard everything they told me. He too left the lot after seeing how they treated their customers.

Everyone at Dave Knapp's was very kind and helpful. I needed a car and I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy or lease a car. Mr. Knapp took us into his office and explained the different options. Mr. Knapp was so nice and he did everything possible to get us the car we wanted. My husband and I decided to lease a car this time. Mr. Knapp got us a car with all the options we requested for the payment we wanted. I have never had a dealer work with me to find the car best suited for our needs. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone. I will definitely do business with them again.

We needed another car in the family since our daughter is now driving. Our sales person Jim Francis has always treated us with the upmost respect and honesty. We have always thought of him as a good friend. We told him that we wanted to purchase either a new Fusion or Focus. We were not sure which would be best for our needs. Jim sent us out in one of each and let us explore the likes and dislikes of both. He was very patient with us as we made our minds up which one to buy. The funny part is that we ended up seeing a third choice on the showroom floor. It was a very nice blue Fusion and it is the one we ended buying. The whole experience from beginning to end was an excellent one. The entire Dave Knapp Ford team was great to work with. I will continue to buy from Dave Knapp for years to come.

Bought my first new F-150 from Bryan Knapp and team at Dave Knapp Ford Lincoln. Excellent experience. The purchase process was smooth and seamless. Upon arrival at the store Bryan made sure my kids had something to drink and a piece of their anniversary cake. The truck was cleaned and parked outside ready to go. The finance process was painless. Overall great experience.

My husband looked at the cars on the lot first, then suggested I have a look. Even though my old car was wheezing toward the end its life, I really was dreading the process of buying a new car. I walked around the lot on a Sunday so I could get a look, undisturbed, at what was available. I saw a lot of possibilities. When I came back after work on Tuesday, Ed Fink was so helpful: it was a cold and very rainy evening, and he was such a good sport about being out in the weather. I chose my car, negotiations went very well, and I drove my new car home that night. And let me tell you about my car. I drive a lot of miles, am getting a bit *mature*, have significant joint issues, and was very uncomfortable in old car. My 2014 Focus SE is amazing; quality much more than I expected for my price range. I have driven to and from work for two days now, and I am so comfy! I can make the tiniest adjustments to maximize comfort. Heated seats are great! I can't say any anything about the Service Dept. yet, but a few friends have highly recommended it. I would recommend Dave Knapp to my friends, or anyone else who asked. Thank you-- I love my car.

The dealer had the car we were looking for and the sales associate we talked with was very nice. The car itself was dirty and not completely clean after we bought it and was supposed to be detailed. We had to spend extra time getting a key made at another Ford dealer bc they had lost our second key.

I took my wife in to look at cars for herself. Was not only able to look from the outside but inside as well with no problems from Kurt the salesmen. We were also surprised at the fact we were able to test drive any vehicle that my wife wanted. After three test drives and making sure it was going to be child friendly as we are about to celebrate our daughters first birthday. My wife and I opted to go for the 2013 ford fusion. As it was my wife's car. And we wanted it to be roomy for our daughter and stroller in the trunk. We plan to take this car to New York to see our family. Great gas millage and a smooth ride overall. My wife and I never once felt presser to buy any vehicles that we looked at or even test drove. Which is wonderful..No one wants a pushy salesman!! We were always asked how did you like this vehicle..What didn't you like about it ect.. And moved on to what Kurt thought would be more suited to our needs!

theygo over and beyond. they programmed my phone to the car and again months later when i changed phones. the seats in the waiting room are too soft. great to sit on but really hard to get up for us older people.

At my most recent visit to Dave Knapp Ford to have my Lincoln MKZ's brake problem looked at, found that everyone I came into contact with was very polite, concerned about my problem, and genuinely interested with solving the problem I was having as soon as possible. Great group of people working in my hometown and would recommend Dave Knapp Ford to anyone! Always have had pleasant experiences with them.

I have purchased 3 vehicles from Dave Knapp Ford over the past 5-6 years. Each vehicle required my salesperson Buff Francis to search for the cars I wanted (2009 Edge, 2012 Mustang and a brand new 2013 Edge). He was able to find the cars that fit my aspirations. I also do my research and know a little bit about cars and their value. I have always been treated with respect and fairness. I also appreciate that my salesperson lives locally and can take my car in for its regular service and I do not have to make a trip to Greenville or be without a car. Some years back I was having issues with my 2000 Windstar. A local mechanic told me it was transmission problems. I called Dave Knapp to see if they would give me a second opinion. They found it was a bad spark plug wire causing the issue. I will always go to Dave Knapp first for my vehicle needs.

From purchasing vehicles, regular maintenance, and the "uh oh" of needing a little body work done....we've had great service from the Sales Staff, Office Staff, Service Dept, The Body Shop. Friendly, courteous, competent, and caring. My last visit was on December 30, 2014.....picked up our new 2015 Mustang GT. It was a GOOD visit to the dealership!!! I WENT TO TRADE FOR A NEW EXPLORER AND THERE WAS NONE ON THE LOT THE WAY I WANTED IT TO BE, NOR WAS THERE ANY TO BE FOUND FOR THE YEAR END MODEL, SO THEY JUST ORDERED ME A NEW ONE THE WAY I WANTED AND MADE ME A DEAL THAT I COULD BUDGET. THE BEST THING EVER AS THE NEWER VEHICLE IS SO MUCH BETTER, I LOVE IT AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT, THEY KEPT ME INFORMED OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND WHEN IT WOULD BE IN. THEY MADE SURE I WAS PLEASED AND ACCOMADATED.

I have been getting vehicles serviced here for over 10 years and bought a used vehicle in 2013. The service has been excellent over the years, they keep me informed of points I have earned and apply them when I want them. The Service Dept. is excellent they act like they want my business. When I purchase a new car Dave Knap will be my first stop.

I purchased a new truck from Dave Knapp in December 2012. Jim Francis treated us exceptionally well and I couldn't be more pleased with the buying experience. However, I took my truck in for warranty work, and couldn't be more disappointed with the service department. They couldn't find the problem. So, I took my truck to a local,independent garage, who diagnosed the problem immediately. I took these findings to Dave Knapp immediately along with screen shots of my display that showed what was going on with the truck. Dave Knapp then had my truck for yet another visit in which they let their technition drive my truck home and put 100 miles on my truck and let it run for 7 hours trying to replicate the problem, neither of which was authorized by me. Also, the problem didn't occur when the truck was running, only after being shut off. They knew this. I watched their service manager write it on paper after I told him that was when it happened. Their only response to me was "my bad". They finally fixed it, or said they did a day later. I was furious. They didn't even fill up my gas tank with all the gas that they used. I will never go back to Dave Knapp to have them work on my truck.

I went in to buy a new car. This was my first experience with any dealership. I was there 5 hours waiting for "the numbers to be run". I'm no idiot and I do my research. First I was asked if I had a cosigner. Then I was told I MUST have a cosigner. After waiting longer, I knew they were just trying to wear me down just to sign. I wasn't shown anything in writing what they were willing to offer until I said I need to think about it for a few days. At that point, the sales manager wanted to talk. He informed me I had no "car credit". There is no such thing as car credit! Then I was told I don't need a cosigner. So I was being flat out lied to. I can guarantee I won't be going back there. It was a waste of an entire day and I left extremely insulted! I've made sure to share my unacceptable experience with everyone I know.

I love this dealer! I have been a service customer of Dave Knapp Ford for several years, and I have always been happy with the service I have received, as well as the quality of the work done. They had gotten me in for a last minute appointment for a routine oil change on a Saturday (09/20/14). As I was waiting for the service to be completed, they discovered some other issues (with a tire), so I decided to go "window shopping" to see the prices of a quality used vehicle. Everything seemed out of my (price-range) reach, but the salesman ("Buzz") advised me to just talk to the finance guy to see where I was at, and to see if I could get approved for something. I thought this would be impossible, but I filled out an application anyway. I really wanted a Ford Escape, as I was driving a 2001 Ford Windstar at the time. They came back and told me that they had an option for me--a 2013 Ford Focus. I did not want it, thinking it would be too small, that I wouldn't be able to afford the payments, etc. It might have been the Finance Manager that talked me into buying this car, as he knew that I wanted to rebuild my credit. He gave some brief education about rebuilding credit, and what sort of things would have a positive/negative impact on my score. They were all so very patient with me, and they never really tried to pressure me into buying. If there was any pressure at all, it was a very tolerable, soft and educated pressure, as opposed to some kind of disrespectful hard sales approach, which I truly appreciated. After owning this car for over a month now, I have totally fallen in love with it! I love the fact that I am driving something that looks good, something that is safe, and has an extended/expanded warranty in the event that something goes wrong. The gas mileage is great, and it costs me about 2/3 less than before to fill up at the pump. This car was nice and clean, inside and out, has great features, and I have received a slew of compliments since I bought it. I have made my first payment, and I had no problem doing it. The dealership does not have a huge lot with tons of inventory where you might feel like you need a map to get in and out of there. It is right on one of the main roads in Greenville, and it is very easy to find. The lot and building are clean with a big screen TV and popcorn machine in the waiting area. The restrooms are absolutely gorgeous! The only thing that they are lacking that I wish they had is free Wi-Fi. I would, and have, recommend this dealer to my friends and family. On a side-note, I have also recently ordered a book on credit repair because of the information on credit that the Finance Manager shared with me.

Been a customer of Dave Knapp Ford since 2008. 2 new vehicles, & as of today a real peach of a used F-150. Have had all service on all vehicles performed there since 2008. No issues. Fair prices, expert work. The service & sales staff are all top notch and really nice folks. Expect a fair deal at Dave Knapp's. In my experience...you'll get it! By the way-like a previous reviewer says-the restrooms ARE pretty nice!

I buy all my vehicle there. I have bought 12 vehicles there in the past 14 years. Their facility is super clean and it is a great family atmosphere. You have to check out their restrooms, it is like going into a 5 star hotel. Perfect place with really low prices.

We went in to Dave Knapp and had to deal with Jake Cabay, general sales manager. We were looking to purchase a New vehicle and he came out to look at our trade in. He gave us the cold shoulder and acted like we were bothering him, and typed up a price he would give us, slid the paper across the table at us, mumbled "HERE", and then did not look at us the entire time. He got up, sat on the corner of his desk with his back towards us. I guess he thought there was something better to look at outside, while he played with his change he got out of his pocket. Acted like we were not WORTHY of purchasing a car from them. Well I have news for him... We could have paid CASH for ANY vehicle on that lot. Did I mention ANY VEHICLE on the lot??? 100k for that truck?? here ya go.CASH sale Your loss Jake Cabay. I will not ever purchase a vehicle from this dealer again.

Terrible is the only word to describe Dave Knapp. Bought a 2004 Ford Focus in 2009 and they ripped us off. Transmission slips, seat belt broke, and the supposedly new tires blew within 6 months. We reported the transmission problem within warrenty and they will not fix it! Until it is unable to move they won't touch it. So for the time being every shift into 3rd is terrible. They said the car wasn't in a wreck, but when the seat belt broke (they don't test safety equipment by the way) the seat belt compartment was full of broken glass from a previous accident that they did not know about. But in there records they said that both tail lights and bumper was replaced. How they can't put those things together beats me. It is either they are stupid or lying thieves. And just today one of the tires that they just put on blew. They use the cheapest things possible. Windshield wipers are also crap. The people there are act like your friend until you buy the car. Then they don't help you at all. They wouldn't even return our calls when we asked about the supposed accident. We called for 3 days straight but no one would talk to us. If you are in Dave Knapps area, go to Beau Townsend in Vandalia. It is worth the drive because that way you don't have to deal with these thieves.

Everyone at Dave Knapp Ford Lincoln Mercury treats you like family and you can tell they really care about you and your vehicle. I have been dealing with them for over a decade now and I just can not say enough good things about them.
