My salesman Sean and i agrred on a price. The manager Paul at the time also agrred on a price. This was done over the phone. I had to go out of town so my wife put down a deposit. When i got back in town we went to finish the sale. We then had to work with a different salesman, Tony, who was great, but did not know the details of our previous agreement. I told him the price. He set up the paperwork. When we went to sign i noticed the numbers were wrong. They had the price AFTER my trade in, instead of before, so the actual sale price was MORE than we had agreed on. We went to speak to the manager Mike, who told us he could not sell thevtruck to us for the previously agreed on price. He said he would be losing money. My first salesman, Sean even told the manager that yes thats what we agreed on and that another manager, Paul made the deal. So basically they did NOT honor our deal and instead tried to manipulate us into paying more, hoping we wouldnt notice. This is not the kind of dealer i want to work with.

I emailed Chris and told him what I was looking for and set an appointment. When I arrived I told him I did not want to be there all day. A car purchase has always been such a grueling process. He showed to me, the vehicles in my price range. Briefly took my car for appraisal, presented the figures to me and I was out the door. I told him I would think about it. I called him the next day and said write it up and I want to come by, sign, pick up my keys and be outta there in 30 minutes.............He was not only true to his word, he was very professional and courteous. I have since recommended him to several people.........He is an asset to the Dealership! I would definitely buy from him again! Everyone is nice, cooperative and helpful. It usually only takes an hour or so and is worth the wait. I made an appointment this time. I usually just show up and get the oil changed and tires rotated. It was actually easier to just show up rather than go through the appointment process. Both ways led to superior service though.

I have a 2014 Hyundai Equus that I had to bring in for service because of the engine light, car hesitating and the windows wouldn't go up all of the time. I am very disappointed with this because the Equus is a high end vehicle and costs far more than the two Dodge vehicles and the Chevrolet, but I have not had engine lights to come on in either of those vehicles. I do understand that sometimes that's just how it is and I accepted that and had my car brought in for service and here is where I became totally frustrated. My wife went to pick up the car and when she opened that drivers' door the door jam was full of ants. She made the man working the service desk aware. he told her to get her purses out and he would take it to the back. When she walked around to the passenger side to get her purse that door jam also had ants running in it. The service man apologized and took the car to the back to have the ants cleaned out. Scott brought the car back up and when my wife opened the passenger door to put her purse back in the car ants were still running. She opened the rear passenger door and ants were there also. She again brought it to the man working the service desk attention and he then told Scott again to have those guys blow the ants out or wash them out. The car comes back up and again and YES the ants were still in the door jams, all 4 of them. The service desk man advised my wife to keep the loaner car so that they could remove carpet and seats and/or spray the car to try to get rid of the ants. Our car was at this dealership for approximately 3 weeks, unbelievable.

While having routine maintenance done on my I car inquired about the Rav4 hybrid. Heather and her manager were very friendly and helpful. I am currently leading my vehicle and instead of trying to pressure me intro a vehicle on the lot I spent really want they told me I could extend my lease for up to 6 months so I could wait for the new model to come out (and that the lease is month to month, so I can return it at any time). They have an awesome warranty that you won't find anywhere. The only recommendation I have is for the service department to develop better communication skills. The service department was very efficient, they worked on everything I asked but I had to ask about the status of 2 items. Overall the service and sales departments were great and I would return there again.

Fredrick Penny greeted me at lunchtime as I stopped by to look thru the lot, I found 2 Silverados I was interested in but did not have the time to drive or look at in depth. When I returned after work Fredrick had the trucks pulled out and set up side by side for comparison, I took the one I liked most for a drive and voila, a couple of hours later I was driving out in my new truck. The entire staff was great.

The purchase and delivery of the new 2014 Silverado took 5 and 1/2 hours. I had to come back the next day and leave the vehicle for the spray-on bedliner (I live in Pearland). I was told the process would be done at the dealership. This apparently was not true as the truck was returned to me the following day with an additional 140 miles on the odometer. For all the trouble, I asked that a set of mudflaps be installed on the vehicle for which I was willing to pay $100. The GM website on "Build your vehicle" charges $150 for the mudflaps. The salesman got a quotation of $450 from the DeMontrond parts department. Ridiculous! I had them installed at a truck accessory store for $110.

No big haggling over price. Stood by the price that was a good price and gave me that price. Guys did a good job of showing me everything about my new truck. I needed to get my old truck back to my house as I did not what to trade it in. They drove my truck to my house and I brought the guy back which was a big help to me. Good deal all around!! The finance manager, Adrian, was congenial, extremely knowledgeable, and listened to what we had to say (a true rarity in his field). I was wondering why it take 4 plus hours to by a car it seems, yes I know I wasn't the only one buying a car and yet it still available to wait so long! It should be some kind of way if a person good credit score he or she should be out and down the road 45 minutes to a hour or have it so you can set up appointment to get this done faster that way most of your day ant tide up, but I definitely love the people and services you guys put out De Montrond, Dealership is the place to buy and I hope you know it's a joy doing business with you guys!

We drove over 100 miles to get to this dealership for a specific car we had seen online. We arrived at the dealership and the first gentleman we were greeted by, laughed at us when we asked the price of a corvette. We continued over to the car we had originally come to see. We stood there for a while, looked the car over and then we had a seat next to the car waiting on someone to help us. After about 5 minutes we asked for someone to help us. We could not get any information out of three (3) people, including a manager, who walked over to look at the car with us. They had absolutely no information about this car, were unable to touch, drive, start or open the hood for a customer. I don't understand how you have a car on the showroom floor for sale and no one has a clue about it. They practically ran us out the door without any type of help or information. I had explained to them how far we had come and we wanted to look at this particular car.....but to my surprise, no one in the whole place had any information or was able to provide help on this car. I was highly disappointed in the way we were treated, the lack of professionalism and the extreme rudeness displayed by employees of DeMontrond Chevrolet Texas City.

I spoke with Eric on the phone and discussed a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I found online. I told him I didn't need much "selling" on the vehicle, I just needed to drive it and get the price where I wanted. He told me we'd be able to work together. I drove to Texas City from Humble on Friday night in the rain for this vehicle. As I pulled up, the Jeep was there waiting and he immediately walked out to greet my wife and I. We drove it quickly then went to the office to negotiate. I gave him my number, went to talk to someone, came back and shook my hand. Since we had financing already arranged through my credit union, I knew what my rate was but he said he thought they could do better. He had Adrian run some numbers and within minutes had got my rate down another .7%. All three stayed late that evening finishing the deal. I compare this with previous experiences where you're only given the information they want to share, not what you ask for. Here, I told him I wanted the buy price, not a monthly payment, not some special math with a trade-in, just the buy price and that's what I got. Even though it was over an hour away, I got the Jeep I want for the price I wanted and was all done within an hour. I would definitely consider DeMontrond again when purchasing a vehicle!

I went to look at a used truck, the salesman michael metcalf didn't know anything about it. He couldn't answer any of my questions but he knew who used to own it and told me all about them. While I'm sitting in his office he has someone call his phone and act like a potential buyer and then when he gets off the phone with them starts talking bad about them. Saying how he can't stand people like that and describes her issues to me. After about 30 minutes of him walking in and out of his office I tell him I needed to leave then he takes my keys says he needs to get an appraisal and comes back about 20 minutes later. I told him I needed to leave again and he says "give me 5 minutes". I said I am leaving give me my keys and he tells me he has to go get them so I follow him to his managers office only to see him try and sneak my keys out of his pocket.. I told this guy I didn't have much time in the beginning and he assured me it would only take 20 minutes.

I have bought 3 cars at Demontrond over the past 2+ years and have had great service every time. When I bring those cars in for service (oil changes, etc,), they have the car completed when they say it will be done. I will continue to buy and service my cars at Demontrond.

Found the car on cars.com contacted the dealership after trying to get a local dealership to get it from them. Stephen Brown was the salesman that i delt with and did the whole deal over email. once i showed up at the dealership the car was detailed and fueled up waiting on me. i was in and out of the dealership in under an hour with test driving the car.

I was apprehensive when I first got to the dealership. I had baggage from the last time I went to buy a vehicle years ago. But then the feeling of ease fell over me especially when a courteous Gregg Anthony extended a friendly and genuine smile and made me us welcome. Throughout the process I never felt like I was unintelligent due to being a woman not a man buying a vehicle. I had an amazing experience with all members of the dealership . I was made to feel like a respected person with the knowledge of being able to purchase a vehicle. When Amy Frasier came out to greet us and work with the sales person for the best deal I felt she really meant to find us the best possible deal with out pressure to buy. The other manager Steven Brown figured which would best fit my budget. He understood what I was looking for and wanted the best for the actual price I gave him I would pay. I didn't get the feeling that I was being pushed toward something higher than I really wanted just for the sale. I honestly value all who sold us our Tahoe. The dealership General Sales Manager ( Bryon Johnson) even came to us and asked for our opinion several times. He was concerned if all was going alright. Not just to ask but with genuine concern. I want to Thank them all especially Amy Frasier and the Dealership Managing Boss Bryon Johnson, I felt personally taken care of with dignity and respect. I will be buying my truck from there when the time comes. I also love the lifetime powertrain warranty. Thank you to all.

I inquired originally about a pre-owned Dodge Ram. My inquiry was responded to timely by a very professional gentleman from the internet team. I unfortunately do not remeber the name of the man I spoke to. He gave me all of the information I requested no questions asked there was a default photo posted on Demontrond.com of the vehicle, I asked the gentleman to send me pictures via email. His response was unmatched by any other dealer I've ever dealt with. I came in on a Friday and drove the Ram decided it wasn't for me. I then moved from the Ram to a Tundra. I wanted a model with the Texas Edition in a beige with 4x4. They did not have it on their lot I was notified of all the qualifying rebates and incentives. Before I left the door the salesman told me his manager found the truck it was in Spring. His manager approached me and thanked me for stopping by. I did not want a truck with more than 50 miles the trip was a total of 130. Before i left I went back inside worked out a deal the saleperson drove to spring that day and had my truck waiting for me the next morning. I will never use another dealership I'm now married to Demontrond Gulf Freeway best help and service Ive ever had.

I purchased my truck at DeMontrond Chevrolet. It was the easiest purchase I ever made, and I have made more than a few. They treated me like I was more than just a customer. They even walked me back to the service department and introduced me to my service adviser. When it was time for my first oil change, they gave me a call to set it up, told me to go to their web site for coupons, and washed my truck for free when they finished the job.
