Despite the rainy day, the sales team was very willing to make sure the sales process went smoothly at every stage along the way with upbeat attitudes and respectful behavior. Service department has always been helpful and friendly. Update: It took me several times to make up my mind about buying a new vehicle. The salesperson was extremely patient as I had several delays due to many things going on over the course of the decision process. Even on the last day when another vehicle caught my interest, the patience and customer service could not have been better. This is why I rate the dealership 5 stars.

we had made an appointment to view a 2015 Lariat with a sales rep the day before our arrival. Once on sight we learned that the rep was not in. It was his day off. After some initial confusion we were introduced to Luke. He proved to be professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. He was focused on making our visit pleasant and successful. In addition the truck was in outstanding condition. We ultimately purchased the truck. You can tell Dewey strives to have the best vehicles on site. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made the buying process rather smooth and efficient. Our salesperson,Josue Alvarez, was very helpful right from the beginning. There was no pressure to purchase or rush any decisions before or during our visit. He went out of his way to provide us with a video link of the vehicle that he took earlier in the day to provide a better view than the online photos provided. Even after signing the papers and being well after closing hours, Josue stuck around and took time to walk us through some additional features of the vehicle which was nice. I have purchased vehicles elsewhere in the past and this was by far the easiest and most hassle free of them all. I’ll be back when I’m ready to buy again.

I went in for a oil change and left with a new car. My lease wasn't up for 4 months yet, they worked it all out with me having a new car and the dealer paying for my last 4 payments. I was in out the door within 3 hours! Cleaned out my car in the service bay where it was nice and warm and I was even asked by Mac if he could help me. Great group of people, very friendly and helpful!!

I was very impressed with Dewey, first by the friendly service department (Mack and the manager) and then by the sales department (Shane). They went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my experience. I really appreciate the extra time they spent with us and making us feel like a valued customer and not a number. These days it's really hard to find a place that hasn't lost their sense of "small town" hospitality.

I recently purchased a F-350 from Dewey Ford, after my vehicle was totaled in a vehicle accident. Ron Pink and Harley Deems not only gave me a very good deal on my new truck, they even went out of their way to pick it up out of town. The vehicle I wanted was located at another dealership. After the purchase was made, they made every effort to replace all of the aftermarket items that were on my wrecked F-350. This included taking it to other businesses to have them put on and picking it up. The after market items included 3 different businesses across town. This is something that you will not find in any other dealership in the state and the care and customer service they provide to make sure I was 110% satisfied. When my vehicle was totaled from a lady that was reading her garmen and not paying attention to the road, I was devastated and was lost on what to do. This vehicle was my baby and meant a lot to me and both of these guys knew that. I want to thank both of them for making this experience less painful and going completely out of their to accomplish this sale and taking care of me and my family. If you are looking for a new or used vehicle you would be crazy to go anywhere else with the service they provide and the care they put into making you 110% satisfied. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your the best at what you do.

I had taken my 2012 Mustang for an oil change, they set me up for the works package ... for one I didn't know what THE WORKS consisted of the service rep (Marcus) pointed to big sign hanging in service area, didn't explain anything. I thought okay... that should of been my first heads up. I told him I recently had new tires put on an they didn't set my sensors on tires, but I didn't have any indicating lights showing on dash.. he said then they should be okay. I thought okay he should know what he's talking about so I let that go. Then I wanted my air filter changed and oil that was main reason for my appointment. I drove an hour to get there I should of drove another few mins to different dealer, but lesson learned!! Nick the service rep which wasn't the one who checked me in for my appointment came and got me said the car was done. when he gave my the bill I looked it over and had a few questions for him.. when looking at my receipt I noticed the oil change,rotating of tires and vehicle check-up was marked done and everything else was marked okay and they had checked tire tread an brake wear. First I asked why air filter wasn't changed,, oh, they just check to make sure okay... NO I wanted it changed! Nick had to explain its a paper air filter,,, first of all I'm not a STUPID GIRL and I know the stock ones are PAPER! After talking to Nick I was so upset that another Ford dealership had let me down, I payed my bill an left because I had more appointment that day. I wasn't able to look car over before I left dealership. After returning home I looked car over an tires have NOT been rotated and the fluid for washer had not been filled, bone dry! And ALL fluids were checked okay on inspection sheet...?? Wondering if my oil even got changed!!!???? I will be going back to talk with manager about this and remember I drive an hour to get there... I didn't ask for the WORKS they should maybe listen to what the Customer wants!

I have had my car serviced at this location numerous times due to the high milage on my car and parts needing replaced as well as regular sceduled maintenance. Thank God for Dewey! We have three dealers in town and two of them are very cold and unfriendly. Where as Dewey people are friendly and always thank me for my service, (Korea Vet). Karl's people didn't even notice my service cap. Also the nice thing about Dewey is the layout of the customer area, sale area and cashier. They make a active busy area that is pleasant to wait in and people watch.Their service is the best hands down.

I luve out of state and was traveling with my two show dogs.My 2002 Ford Expedition wouldnt start at the hotel and had to be towed in on a saturday. The Service Writer John M.explained that they were short staffed but would do their best to complete the repair the same day. The replaced the starter and my Suv was ready in two hours. Including a much needed car wash. Thanks to John and everyone at Dewey Ford!

I had brought my truck in on 12/8 for service. Got here at 7;00 am for my scheduled service time . Got check in after 2 hrs no one comes out to talk to me. I find some one. They find my paperwork he tells . What they found. Then the service guy says you want it fixed. I said yes . How much longer have told me about 1 1/2 hrs longer . Not satisfied with your service today.

If you can get a deal, feel free to buy from them. However, if you are taking your car there for service after warranty, don't believe a word they say. On two separate trips, ( it took that many because they made no attempt to fix my truck the first time), the tech working on my truck sabotaged my engine to support recommendations made on the work order. They were all simple fixes, but for the average person they would have cost a couple hundred dollars in unneeded repairs trumped up by the dealership.

Truck taken to Dewey Ford for repairs after accident in February . 30 days later told it was done, picked up drove down street and smoke coming from tail pipe. Take back, no service was done on truck! They had truck several more days. Puck up, drop of over and over. It's now June and yep, Truck back in shop due to failure last 5 trips to get it right. To top it all off they don't have a comparable loaner. My truck is how I work. Been lied to, given excuse another dept. Fault. No help from GM, No help from service manager. 3 generation have bought from them and that is all about to end!

This in all my years was one of the absolutely worst car dealing experiences I have ever encountered.I was VERY interested in purchasing a certain vehicle and left just shaking my head in wonderment.The salesperson I had was not very helpful, the sales manager who appraised my trade in was one of the most unfriendly people I have ever met. After the unfriendly manager told the sales man what to offer me, I thought the appraisal was 300 dollars to low. I told the sales man the offer was a little low.This is where it gets crazy, the salesman said ok, he understood and walked away. I was never even given the chance to counter offer or pursue this purchase any further. I looked at my wife and all I could say was WOW, we then left for home.

We had a Ford Edge which we really liked but felt we needed a more economical smaller car. We knew we needed to cover the loan for our Edge for trade-in and did not want a higher monthly payment. We told Ron Pink that was what we wanted and would not purchase that day if that couldn't be met. We found a Ford Fusion that fit our needs just right and Dewey Ford came through for us. We were able to trade in our Edge and cover the loan left on it and not have a higher monthly payment for the Fusion. Dewey also got us the color we wanted also.

It was a rainy snowy late afternoon in January we were driving around looking at cars and found the Dewey ford lot .We had been looking for hours at other lots in the area and no one came out to greet us at any other lot. As soon as we got out to look at a car there was Jonathan Youngbear to help us out. He stood out in the sleet and answered our questions and went on a test drive ,never rushing us .We found what we wanted and they worked with us to get a good price on our trade in and all the financing.By the time we left there was a full blown blizzard and it was past closing time they took good care of us and I would recommend them to everyone.

Showed up to my scheduled oil change. They said it would take under an hour (as it should, it's only an oil change). It has been over an hour and a half and I am still sitting here. No idea how much longer it will be - this is not the first time the turnaround has been slow...you think I would learn my lesson. My suggestion is to find a different dealership for service, that's what I will be doing.

Dropped my truck off on a monday night with what I thought was a transmission issue and a bad tire pressure sensor. Told them I needed it back by Friday afternoon as I had to pull my camper with it and they said that it shouldn't be a problem. I also told them what they had to do to get the truck to act up. Tuesday they called and said that they wern't able to pull any codes from it and told me which tire pressure sensor was bad. They said that they were going to drive it and see if they could get it to act up and give me a call back later that night. I never recieved a call back.Wednesday afternoon I called them and asked what was going on with my truck and they siad that they were not able to get it to act up, but were still looking into it. I again told them what you had to do to get the truck to act up.Thursday afternoon I called them and they told me that they still couldn't get it to do anything and wanted to know if they should keep looking into it. I told them yes a little upset as it was getting close to Friday and I needed my truck back. After I left work that night I drove over there and told them that I wanted to drive it as I knew I could get it to act up. The service guy went with me and I did exactly what I had told them to do several times and low and behold when we get back to the dealership and start driving around the lot it starts to act up. I pulled it up to the service bays and the service manager came out and diagnosed it as being the VCT solenoids and not the transmission. The service guy I was working with told me he would get an estimate written up and I asked him if was still possible to get the work done by Friday afternoon as I would have to make other arrangements otherwise, and he assured me that that wouldn't be a problem. Again as I was leaving I asked him if it was going to be done Friday and he again said yes.Friday morning the service guy called me with the estimate and I told him to start working on it. I again asked him if it was going to be done that afternoon and he said yes. Friday afternoon I went over there to pick up my truck and after waiting for 20min for the service guy to figure out what was going on he told me that my truck wasn't finished and that he couldn't do anything for me other than to have them start on it first thing Saturday morning and that it should be done around 9AMI left pissed off as I now had no way to get my camper to the campground and was going to loose out on a night of camping fee's as I had reservations. Saturday at 10:30 I called them as I haddn't heard anything yet. I asked to talk to the service guy who I had been talking to and was told that he was off. I asked them if my truck was done yet and was told that it wouldn't be finished until that afternoon and acted like they knew nothing about me needing it as soon as possible.I ended up having to find someone with a truck to pull my camper. When I was about half way back to Ankeny from Ames they called and said that my truck was finished. I went and paid and told them I wouldn't be back.All it would have taken was for the service guy to walk out to the shop Friday morning and tell the machanic that I needed it by that afternoon, but apparently he was too busy to do that or didn't care.As I was walking out pissed off Friday afternoon the service guy told me that he would "make it right for me", well it's a week later and he has yet to "make it right with me"

I went to 3 Ford dealers and 3 GM dealers before I went to Dewey Ford. I was ready to give up on trading my Mustang in for this truck. I had one Ford dealer tell me there wasn't any trucks like I wanted with in 400 miles of dealership. I had appointment at a local dealer 12 miles from home. The salesman was no show. called him about returning. He told me he was busy with demo rides at county fair 2 miles away. Reschedule appointment. I went to a GM Dealer in Ankeny Before I went to Dewey Ford. They wanted to steal My Mustang. The sales manager told me I was to attached to the Mustang to get rid of it. I walked out. I went next door to Dewey Ford. While I was kicking tires. My sales consultant approached my girl friend and I. I let her do the talking. Dewey had a truck like I wanted but wrong color. While we test drove truck. Sales manager found truck like I wanted. ( 50 miles away from dealer that told me no truck within 400 miles of his dealer.). I was within reason of purchasing truck on Saturday when I left. I ran out of time. I had somewhere to be. I went home filled out Finance agreement on line. On Monday morning I was contacted by sales manager with offer I could not turn down. They went to the dealer ( n my back yard) to get truck. We made arrangements to pick up truck. 3 days later I have 800 miles on truck. I will send any person I Know to Dewey Ford that is in the market for a vehicle.

This will be my fourth new pickup in the last 4 years and every time they have treated me like family and like a very close friend. I will never go any place else in the further to purchase a new or used vehicle. I will be back in the very near further to purchase a new or used car this fall. You will not find a better dealership to deal or trade with for a vehicle. I was given top dollar for each and everyone of my trade in's. I also had a few additives done extra to my new F-250 in a short amount of time, and it was done very quickly and done right the first time. Highest marks to Dewey Ford because they had the car as advertised and ready to show. Adam Ratzlaff, our salesman, was polished, professional, personable, and facilitated an extremely positive car-buying experience for us. The rest of the staff we had contact with was equally professional and great to work with. Although the pre-owned car is not a Ford product, Adam was fully acquainted with its features. When we picked up our new ride from Dewey, he had made certain it was detailed and it just shone. He took us out to our "new" GMC Terrain and gave us a brief but effective tutorial covering operation of the car's equipment such as auto close on the back door, mirror adjustments and heat features, heating and cooling system, stereo system, and window wiper functions. I hadn't been to a dealer for car purchase in over 20 years. I was looking for a certified used, low miles, good mileage vehicle. Due to my work schedule, my available hours don't always mesh with businesses. Thanks to Dennis, and the team, the experience at Dewey exceeded my expectations. At another dealership, I was totally ignored. And at others the focus seemed to be for new sales. At Dewey I was greeted immediately and was with a sales rep within minutes. Save yourself the stress. Very dishonest. A few examples I Was told they do not negotiate price on pre-owned by salesman who also outright lied & told us unneccessary purchases were required. Uneducated with the car buying experience he took us for things we didnt notice right away.( Keyless entry that doesnt work) We should have walked away. Now we are angry rather than the expected happy car buying experience.

Multi point inspection supposed to include topping off the fluids. My coolant was really low (below min line) and I expected it to be topped off. But I saw the same level of coolant after I got back home though there was a green check box marked on the check list next to the "coolant". If you don't think you should be topping off the coolant I at least expect you to bring to my attention that it is below the min level. Very poor service. Now Im concerned if I got the proper inspection of my car at this dealership.

I had been looking at different vehicle makes for quite awhile, but decided on Ford. When I went to Dewey to look around I was not pressured to buy right away and they listened to my requests and worked very hard to come up with exactly the vehicle I was looking for. Although the vehicle I chose was not in stock, they tracked it down at another dealership and made arrangements to get it to Dewey as soon as possible. While awaiting delivery, Andy checked in with me several times to provide a status update.Once the vehicle arrived, they expedited the paperwork and financing. Although they recommended dealer add-ons there was no high-pressure sales pitch to purchase them. I did purchase the undercoating option and the dealership provided a rental vehicle to me while they had my vehicle in the shop. It took less than a day to apply the coating and everything went very smoothly.I would recommend Dewey if you are in the market for a new car. They were very cooperative and accomodating.

I was in the market for a New 2012 Ford E250 cargo van. I started shopping around online and found a couple of dealerships that had the particular van I was interested in. My husband and I shopped all the Ford Dealers around the Des Moines area. At the "biggest" one, the salesman never took us out to look at the cars, he just showed us pictures on the computer then brought one up that was closest to what we were looking for. It was not what we wanted. When we got to Dewey it was late, but the salesman still gave us a full demonstration, showed us the cars on the lot and even took us to the back lot where the new cars had just come in. I fell in love with a Blaze Yellow one. The management and staff were very helpful and nice, and our salesman bought dinner for our daughters as we were there later than we expected because we were only going to be "looking." The finance department handled our sale professionally and quickly. They did not give us as much for our trade as we would have hoped, but we were offered more there than any of the other dealers and to be honest it was a trade we really wanted to get rid of as it was starting to have major issues. Overall, our experience at Dewey Ford was excellent. Our salesman and a service tech called to say thank you for our business and to let us know who to call if we had any concerns or questions. I highly recommend this dealer.

I just wanted to say that I had a great experience working with Herb Miller in sales. He was very patient and persistent in working with me to find exactly the car that I wanted and at the right price. I was involved in an accident on Sunday Dec 2. and needed a car ASAP. This would be the first time I bought a car without the help of my parents or any family member and I was slightly nervous and upset about the current car my insurance had just totaled. I had looked online for Ford Tauruss for sale. Out of all the cars I found, the 2 that I was interested in were the lowest price and seemed like the best deal at Dewey Ford compared to everywhere else. Herb was the sales man that I was transferred to when I called Dec. 4 and asked if I could set up an appointment to look at it more closely. Herb called me the next day to verify that I was still coming and was very cheerful when I arrived the next evening (Dec. 5). The first car I was looking at had unfortunately been sold but the gray 2011 Ford Taurus was still there. We immediately went for a test drive. He was very friendly, in a great mood, very personable, and genuinely appeared to want to get me the right car at the right price. I never even had to ask for the Car Fax nor did he hide that it had been involved in a minor accident. He showed me everything that Dewey Ford's shop had fixed/maintenanced on the car, also. I had to go to work later that evening and Herb offered to come in on his day off to make sure that the sales process went smoothly. When I arrived the next morning, he went through all the paper work with me and set me up with others who helped to get my car financed and other additional services that I could get with my car. We did find that the keyless pad wasnt working correctly and Doug McGrew said it would be fixed when it came in to get the other services done. My schedule is rather full as I work about 12 hours every day, so Herb offered to pick my car up for me and drop it back off for me when it would be serviced. I met with Todd to get all my finance issues worked out. He found the best loan for me and answered my many questions I had. To finish it all off, Herb drove my rental car back to Enterprise and made sure that I had everything taken care of before I left. This was an overall great experience and I will definitely recommend Dewey Ford to any person I know looking for a vehicle! Thank you for the great sales people you have at Dewey Ford!

When I called him 3 weeks ago to let him know I was ready to look at vehicles, he remembered me immediately and invited me to come in at my convenience. I went over one evening and kept him late, past closing, but he never made me feel like i had to rush. We test drove 3 vehicles and the 3rd one is the one I purchased. Since it was going to be my wife's car, I got to bring it home overnight so she could test drive it the next day. That next day both my wife and I went to Dewey, worked out a great deal and started the paperwork. Again we were the last customers on the lot and it was a Friday night. I would definitely NOT BUY FROM DEWEY AGAIN. I have to agree with a previous poster that if you live outside the state then STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Seriously they don't know how to handle out of state paperwork. We asked business manager a few questions and received responses like I don't know, I'm not sure, etc. Sales - watch the numbers because they are not transparent. I read through all the paperwork and the MSRP was 3 different values. How can that be? We did buy a car because our current one was junked. When we left the lot Dewey even forgot the Temporary license tag to drive legally. These people are shysters! If you buy from Dewey be very very aware of the numbers. Herb even said, " that this whole situation was partially my fault!" are you kidding me - a salesmen telling me it's my fault for being thorough? He even slammed the door out of the business office. Childish behavier. Then the general manager Harley was like ha ha it will be ok you are a Vikings fan trying to soften up the situation. What a joke. TRAIN YOUR PEOPE IN PROFESSIONALISM, INTEGRITY, KNOWLEDGE, ACURACY. That is another thing Dewey kept changing my final price and saying, " I dont recollect that and let me check the tapes of our conversation, which I thought was for training purposes. I believe that is illegal. All I am trying to say BUYER BEWARE! I have wanted a ford edge for the longest time and I found one in my home town and the dealership would not work with me. So I decided to go out of town and I am glad I did. When i drove on to the Dewey lot I actually had a few minutes to myself to look at a few vehicles without every sales consultant in the place coming out like a pack of hungry hyena's. After I looked around and test drove a few other cars to make sure I was absolutely sure an edge was what I wanted. They were all very helpful in putting me in an edge that was just right for me. Some places presure you into buying something that you really don't want here they work with you and make sure you get what you want. I think that they understand that every case is diffrent and they will work with everyone. I would highly recommend Dewey Ford to anyone wanting great service when getting a car and not leaving with the feeling in your gut that you were taken advantage of.

HERB MILLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I cant say enough about this guy :) He was everything that anyone wants when they are purchasing a new vehicle. I called him the day before and set up an early 8:30am appointment to see him and test drive a car I seen online. We live about 1 hr 45 minutes away. We came in early and was unsure what we were buying that day. All we knew was that we needed used, good gas mileage and low miles. We test drove 3 cars that morning. All in which he drove up for us and parked. Doing this all for us while it rained! We took all morning to decide what it was that we wanted and he was the most patient person I have ever seen. He sat with us, went over options and was friendly as can be. He told us a few person things about himself which made us feel RIGHT AT HOME. He worked hard for us to get into the vehicle we choose all while doing it in our budget. We were there over the noon hour and had our 2 kids with us. Herb even went and got our kids Burger King WOW that has never happened. Once again I cant say enough about this guy. We had no hassels at all with our experience and will definately return to buy our next vehicle when I graduate nursing school all because of Herb! Our experience at Dewey Ford was rewarding from beginning to end. Ben Praska answered all questions and was very personable, not pushy or insistent. We were also pleased with Stephanie Alber who did a great job finding us the best loan/interest available and suited to us. She as well was helpful and knowledgable about all financial questions, warranty and "extras." She was pleasant and personable, she seemed to enjoy her job and it showed with her positive attitude and smile. Josh Reinhart was our delivery coordinator. He was very helpful as he showed me all of the "gadgets" and how they worked. He definitely knows what he is talking about! He gave me his card and encouraged me to call if I had any questions, he was very confident in himself and his knowledge. As we were waiting for paperwork one of the business managers came by to thank us for our business and asked if we needed help with anything else. What I liked most was that at each encounter we were asked if we were being treated well, did we have any concerns that needed addressed and please let them know so they could be rectified. They all had a nice, firm handshake and smile to greet us, and the same before we left. Very pleasant experience!Jim and Lainey Russell

Peter Lucas was superb as a sales person. However, I do not know the name of the person who did the final paper work - I did not appreciate his trying to shove all the extras (add'l warranties etc) down my throat. Why can't people accept the answer no - instead of going on and on and on trying to get you to purchase more things? I also was not happy after I decided to buy that I had to wait 3 hours before everything was completed - I had an 80 mile drive to get home and sitting around is not exactly my cup of tea - it was so late (got home at 9:00 P.M.) and was unable to eat before then because I have night blindness and had to get home before dark. I kept telling the guy that did the final paperwork I just wanted to get done and get out of there so I could get home because of my night blindness. It is questionable as to whether I would recommend this dealership because of having to wait so long and the way the personnel with the final paperwork was so pushy. I do, however, recommend Peter Lucas.

I was looking to buy a 2012 Ford Super Duty and checked with three different dealers. Ron Pink at Dewey Ford had the best price along with knowledge of what he was selling. It was a great experience overall and Ron Pink is what I would call a great salesman. So many today don't know their product or care after you have purchased the vehicle. I gave Dewey Ford the ratings I did because the when I noticed two minor things wrong with the vehicle I was looking at it was offered to be fixed before I pickup the car. A lot of negotiating was done to make the price that worked for me the price that they were offering. We picked a salesman from a referral and I would refer him to anyone.

I will not be returning to Dewey Ford. They are the biggest rip off artists around. My first dealing with them was when I needed to put gas tank on my old truck I had found one at napa for $120 but it was going to take a few days to get in. Dewey Ford said that they had it in stock in town somewhere but it would be $180 for the part. I wanted to get it done as fast as possible so I agreed to the $180. After I got the vehicle back I got the tickets and it said were the part came from O'Reillys. I decided to see how much of a markup they really charge me. O'Reillys told me that I could buy the gas tank for $98 and they said Dewey gets a bigger discount than that because they buy so many parts. that put a very sour taste in my mouth.About a year later I blew up the engine in my Ford Lightning. I wanted it to be local so I had it towed to Dewey Ford. I knew it was going to be expensive so when they said $6700 I didn't even think to check around. well I just found out that I coulda got it all done for $4800 at Charles Gabus Ford. That was not a line of smoke from Charles Gabus to sell me a vehicle because I checked with the maintenance department before I even went and tried to trade my truck in. That brings me to trying to buy and sell a vehicle at Dewey Ford. I was looking for something bigger so I was trading in my 2002 Ford Lightning. Dewey Ford are such crooks there that they tride to offer me $4000 less than what my trade in value is on my truck according to kelly's blue book. Dewey Ford's excuse was two wheel drive trucks don't sell well and Iowa. Charles Gabus not only went above what blue book was but they traded straight across for a vehicle that was worth more than what my truck was worth. Like I said I will never go to Dewey Ford ever again and even though I live in Ankeny, I will be having all my work done at Charles Gabus Ford from now on.

I bought a Ford Fusion and it is a GREAT car! I'm very happy with my purchase.Let me back up and say that I absolutely HATE to buy cars. They are very expensive, dealers are often game-playing, and I have no patience for that. In fact I drove my last car for ten years before this.The last four cars I have bought were Dodge not Ford, and honestly I had planned to buy another. I even drove the Dodge Avenger. However, in the interest of getting the best deal on the best car, I decided to head to Dewey Ford and take the Fusion for a drive.I really liked everything about the Fusion so much better than the Avenger. From the perspective of the value of the vehicle, both my test drive and the research I did online, lead me to buy a Fusion.The biggest reason was working with Steve Sexton at Dewey Ford. He was a very down-to-earth kind of guy who was NOT a typical car salesman. He gave me simple, straightforward information, and answered all my questions. I never felt trapped and couldn't leave without buying the car. Both he and Harley Deems were a huge help on the final purchase price. Before we ever did any sort of haggling, Harley came over and told us the car I was looking at was in a newspaper ad and was $5,600 cheaper because of it. WOW! I never even proposed a counter-offer to the sticker price and they came down nearly six grand!I got the protection package as well, and my wife brought the car in for that treatment. The loaner car they gave her while the work was being done was a Mustang! She didn't have to make arrangements for a ride or anything. They gave her a great loaner that made me jealous that I wasn't the one who took it in that day.Overall, they have been fun, friendly, helpful, and I got a great deal! I can't think of anything negative to say.I don't have need of a new car for a while, but with this kind of service, I would gladly go through it every year with Steve and the folks a Dewey Ford!Thanks!

Peter Lucas was our sales agent and was pleasant and good to work with and he treated with respect. Because the loans rates given where in the 3 to 5% range,we chose to go with the 0% interest loan. Our issues began when we were to meet with the business manager to fill out the paper work. There was an extended delay in waiting for him, so we went to dinner. Forty five minutes later, he was still unavailable. Finally he showed up and we went through the paper work. When all of the paper work was completed he said: What were you thinking? in a very condescending tone. He then went on to say how much of a mistake it was to settle for the 0% when we qualified for a 1% loan and could have taken an additional $1500 rebate. When we said we didn't know that was an option. This discussion went on for a bit until we could escape. At the very least, I would have expected a professional to come to us and review our choice and offer the lower interest rate with an explanation. This didn't happen. We filled in a review expressing our dissatisfaction and received a phone call from Zach Battani wanting to hear our view point and to apologize. To make it up to us he offered a car wash. If I may quote my Father in Law: "whoop de do"The Dewey Ford Dealership is a sales machine, impersonal and indignant,if you like buying cars that way have at it, I'll never be back.

Been buying cars for 35 years and this is the first time I have started the process online rather than going to the dealer. My online salesman was David Geyer and he did a great job. I live three hours from Dewey Ford and wanted to have, as much as possible, a deal in place before making the drive. David Geyer was easy to deal with, answered all of my questions, and gave me a good idea what my trade in would be worth.I then made the trip to Dewey and met David for the first time. He was very friendly and had the two Fusions I wanted to test drive ready to go. Took the first for a drive and it was exactly what I was looking for, so on to the actual deal.Since it was my first attempt an online car shopping my worry was once I was actually at the dealership they would try to nickle and dime me on my trade in. Didn't happen. David got me what I was asking for my trade and also shot me a great price on a new Ford Fusion. No pressure, no nickle and dime dickering. Easiest care deal I have ever made. After my experience with Dewey Ford and David Geyer I am totally sold on using online shopping. Bottom line is online saved me a lot of time and aggravation.The Dewey Ford dealership itself was a pleasure to visit. Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly. I would recommend Dewey to anyone looking for a vehicle.

With the season close-out of 2012 Ford Escapes, I thought I could get exactly a package I wanted - without the extras I did not. This was proving to be quite a challenge until I ended up at Dewey Ford. They were more than helpful and determined to find me the right vehicle. They went above and beyond traveling to Minnesota to actually pick-up the exact vehicle I wanted at the right price. The delivery service was above my expectations. Walter took great care in making sure the vehicle was 100% correct. I was able to get an overview of everything and practice using the external keypad to unlock the doors. The staff at Dewey Ford was very friendly and helpful. They responded to e-mails quickly and kept me informed of the status of the vehicle locating process. When you walk up to the building, you will be greeted by friendly individuals who are able to direct you to the area you need to go. This was a great car buying experience - no hidden costs, no pushy sales, just great old fashioned customer service!

My wife and I have been dealing with Harley Deems and Dewey Ford for the past ten years. Harley has always been friendly and professional with us and always takes time to meet me and visit a little when I take a vehicle in to get it serviced. When we went in to deal on a new F-150 Harley greeted us and directed us to Adam Ratzlaff. Adam was friendly and courteous. We knew we wanted an F-150 Lariat and what option packages we wanted. Adam entered the information and saw they didnt have anything on their lot that matched our request so he went to check with Harley to find it at another dealer. They found what we were looking for but the other dealer was reluctant to part with it because they thought they could easily sell it with the option packages it had. So Harley and Adam began checking close matches they had on their own lot. They found a couple and Adam brought them around so we could look at them and test drive if we wanted. We drove one which had most of the options we were looking for but a couple of options we didnt want or need. The second was really close and even had a couple features we hadnt thought of and we felt it would be a great vehicle for us. After a short wait, Harley and Adam brought us out a typed offer including trade-in of our 2010 F-150 and every incentive they could find. My wife who prides herself on dealing for the best price didnt even try to make a counter-offer. It was really a no-hassle negotiation.After a short wait we met with Stephanie Alber to go through the paperwork. Stephanie was friendly and efficient. After a short time we had finished the paperwork and transferred vehicles. We could have driven it home that day but we needed to have a third party vendor transfer a bed lid and install molded mud guards and Linex spray bed lining so we set up delivery two days later.Adam kept in phone contact to make us aware when our truck would be ready. We went in to pick it two days later and were met by Adam and Harley who directed us to Brian Lenz who went over the vehicle with us, describing the features and showing us how they operated. Brian paired our phones up with Sync and made sure they worked. Adam has kept in touch with us since we picked it up to make sure we were completely satisfied. This is the sixth vehicle we have purchased form Dewey in the last ten years and the experiences just keep getting better. Everyone has been great to work with but we cant say enough about the friendliness and sincerity of Harley and Adam.

We had two referrals to work with Dustin at Dewey Ford and after purchasing two vehicles from him, we understand why he was so highly recommended. Dustin and everyone else we worked with at Dewey was knowledgeable, professional and personable. We never felt like we were being pressured to buy. They answered all of our questions so we could make informed decisions. They were very fair on our tradeins and very aggressive on price. They did everything they could to earn our business. A week ago I purchased a used car & discovered a day later there was a big hole in the driver side floor mat. I thought they would have come down on the price of the vehicle I bought, but they did not come down in price at all. They didn't want to give me much for my car but yet they were asking $4,000 more than what they gave me for my vehicle. They should have either come down in price on the vehicle I purchased or given me more for my trade-in.

We were very impressed with Dewey Ford and the information they provide on all of their used cars. Jake was very informative as we looked at several different makes and models. This was the dealer of choice for a lot of people I knew. I than read every dealer reviews on every web page I could find . After reading all the great reviews I decided to go to Deweys. I was immediately blown away once parking my car a greeted by a manager by the name of Doug McGrew. And thence introduced to another Managesr by the name of Zach, Harley and which was attentive to my needs and helped me find the perfect fusion sport awful. Patrick Grady knew everything about this car as if he was the one who built it. As a retired salesman I knew product knowledge was were it was. I was so totally impressed by the whole process. Obviously, my first experience was an outstanding one or I would have never made the second deal, which turned out to be even better.Both Andy and Jake are exceptional men; friendly and helpful, and fortunately neither possess that pushy car salesman attitude so often found when shopping for vehicles. Both men were honest and sincere, more attributes you don't often think of when dealing with car salesmen. My wife and I stopped at Dewey with only a small likelyhood that we were going to buy a vehicle that day. After meeting with Jake, looking over the selection, and test driving the vehicle, we were sold. I found the exact options that I was looking for at the right price. Jennifer worked some good deals for us on the aftermarket accesories and set us up with a loaner the next day to get all the items added. I have a working relationship with this Dealership and have never had any trouble with anyone there. Harley and Doug are the people I usually deal with and they are excelent to work with. This was the first time I have dealt with anyone else on the staff and everyone one of them were patient and curtious while We were making our decisions. Adam was very helpful as My wife is the one who will drive the car. Dealing with Dewey many times in the past I was confident that it was the dealer for me. I have always driven Chevies in the past but in my business I get to see and drive all the manufacturers Vehicles. Dewey hands down has by far the best people and Ford is the best in quality and all the things offered with thier vehicles. I have already talked to friends about how pleasant the experiance was and the way they worked with us. Adam worked with me more by phone while my wife was dealing with the choices. The day we were going to buy the car I asked him to show my wife a few different colors and options available with the Taurus and he complied. Good thing because she picked a different one from what she originally liked. Good job people!

I was looking for a specific car, make, color, etc. Dewey Ford had a great website that made it easy for me to find the car I had in mind. I called Ron Pink and he had the car warmed up and waiting for me to drive. My wife and I had looked at Dewey about a year earlier, and worked with Ron. He was not pushy and really made us feel comfortable about returning to Dewey when we were ready to purchase a vehicle. The only thing that kept me from buying my dream car was the price, and I feel they met me at a fair compramise. I would not hesitate sending a friend to Dewey or Ron Pink for their next car purchase.

On 3-8-12 at Dewey Ford in Ankeny I had a pleasantly smooth vehicle purchase thanks to salesman Ben Praska. Ben did his homework before my arrival and had several F150s that met my search criteria lined up for me to drive. He has excellent customer relationship skills, and worked hard to find me the right F150. It was the easiest new vehicle purchase I've ever made. There was a slight issue with the delivery prep of my truck, as the under-coating that Dewey applied had over-spray all over the chrome step bars and chrome exhaust tip extension. On both the day I took delivery of the F150, and a follow up day when I picked up the truck after Kelly in the aftermarket/delivery office arranged to have the undercoat cleaned off of these areas, there were greasy/dirty hand prints on the interior of the driver door, steering wheel, and a gob of greese on the lid of the center console. I was satisfied with the efforts Kelly arranged to fix the over-spray, but am disappointed that there apparently is a lack of concern for cleanliness inside a customer's brand new vehicle.Overall, I'll definitely be back for future vehicle purchases from Ben Praska and Dewey Ford in Ankeny.

I'd like to start this review with two caveats, first, we've actually bought a vehicle from Dewey Ford before (~5 years ago) so I felt comfortable visiting them again, and second, this review is not so much a negative review for our salesperson Kyle Brown, as it is for the sales manager we dealth with the night we visited, Todd Prall. Kyle was very helpful and seemed willing to work with us. I was interested in a 2009 Ford Flex and had done my research on price and sales. We stopped in to look at a specific vehicle and with a specific price in mind (after doing comparables shopping online). After meeting Kyle and conducting a vehicle inspection and test drive, we sat down to talk numbers, and I presented Kyle with the comparables I had found. Kyle said he'd like to work with us to help us match some deals we found online and we were encouraged by this. I had VIN numbers for him to look up for the comparables I brought in. He then introduced us to his sales manager Todd Prall and Todd said he'd go look at the numbers. A while later, Kyle returned and he pointed out a few differences between the vehicle we were looking at and the comparable I was bargaining against. I understood the differences and asked him what he could do for us. He went back to talk with Todd and after another long while later, both returned. Todd basically told us that they did not have a lot of room to negotiate in the sales price and I asked what numbers they were thinking and he returned back the same number that Kyle quoted us at the start of the night. Needless to say, I was a bit shocked and confused. If they didn't have any room to negotiate (which I doubt considering the prices I was seeing online, the sales rate for the Ford Flexes, and the fact that they got this vehicle off lease at a dealer auction) they should have told me that upfront and not wasted our time that night. Honestly, had they been willing to negotiate the price at all, we probably would have been willing to deal. Thankfully, they were not, and we were able to get a much better deal for a newer Flex by driving a little bit and negotiating with a Ford dealership in Leavensworth, KS, who was a little more realistic about things. I wanted to write this review to point out the fact that their sales manager might have cost our salesman Kyle Brown a sale that night. I have bought from Dewey before, but not again, as the interaction we had that night left a bad taste in our mouths.

I had the best experience at Dewey Ford with Beau and Andy. They were two of the nicest and most professional people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. When others said "no", they said "Let's see what we can do!" and they did! Some said "You will have to wait until Monday" but these two got me in to a car that I LOVE on the same day I came in! Andy's follow up after the sale has been phenomenal and I would feel comfortable going in on my own and buying a car from these two any time! They didn't just give me a car that I love. They gave me a safe and reliable mode of transportation for myself and, more importantly, my daughter! Also, I was very distracted by his disgusting fingernail that should, without question, have been covered with a band-aid. All the folks I had the pleasure of doing business with at Dewey Ford listed were 110+% professional, courteous and fair going the extra mile to make my purchase experience the best ever. My extreme thanks to those listed at Dewey Ford in Alkeny, Iowa. I did check out (2) other Ford dealers in the Des Moines vicinity but I came back to Dewey mainly because of their professionalism and putting my concerns priority #1. After much searching Salesman Kevin Gascon, with assistance from Mgr. Harley Deem found the Edge SEL options which I originally wanted at the right price. It took some patience on his & my parts but he located it on Dewey's lot with 6 miles on it & not a demo like you'll find at many dealers. Truthfully I was very somewhat skeptical of Dewey Ford's treatment toward me because at age 53 I have never been treated so well by any dealership in my life. I estimate have been to in excess of 30-35 having lived in 4 states. I have not a single complaint I could offer regarding Dewey Ford. They took care of me from the second I stepped through the door every time making me feel at home. Stephanie Alber in the Finance Dep't., I can't thank her enough or Harley Deem for getting my monthly pym't. low enough to be managable so I can enjoy the Edge & not be stressed about what I'll need to give up ea. month to make my pym't. The interest rate is the lowest I've ever paid on a new vehicle(the absolute truth)which made my purchase even that much more worthwhile. She offered optional protection packages which can be altered to fit your budget if you want any of them but no pressure there either. After I purchased at Dewey I couldn't help but wonder what may have happened if I opted incorrectly to purchase at another Des Moines Ford dealership or competitor manufacturer. I think this dealership should be training other dealerships how to take care of customers, keep them coming back and most important give them incentives to BUY Ford. I mean all this sincerely & admittedly I am not the easiest person to please when it comes to trading a used and buying a new vehicle. They gave me the amount I wanted on my pick-up truck trade (no games or numbers confusion) which was the incentive I was needing to purchase a new 2012 Edge. I haven't had a Ford product in many yrs. since having a 2003 Ford F-150 Lariat & although an adjustment, downsize to the Edge from a extended cab pick-up w/o 4-wheel drive preferred in the Mid West, so far I am very happy with it. I feel like I'm driving in the luxury of a Lincoln Towncar (well almost)Signature Series limo as it smoothly handles curves, potholes, bumps & construction joints of the city & highway surfaces in Des Moines vicinity. If you are a Patriot American as I and prefer not to send our much needed jobs overseas than do yourself, fellow Americans & country a favor and research any Ford product. I have found you'll get the most "bang for your buck" in every way compared to those vehicles I considered. I have not had a single problem with our new Edge. It is obvious Ford engineered this vehicle to last, it is comfortable and drives like a larger luxury vehicle although classified as a cross-over. Buying any new or used vehicle is a significant purchase/investment so if you want it to be virtually stress-free, as it should be, then stop in or call Dewey and you'll be thanking yourself and them as I am. Know that I wrote the above with no 'fringe benefit', coercion from Dewey Ford and they truly deserve, earned my sincere compliments & respect, a much appreciated change from past experiences. If I stay in the Des Moines vicinity as I'm transferred often too much for my work, I have no reason to look for any other dealership.

After visiting another local Ford dealer in the Des Moines metro area and basically being denied an opportunity to test drive a Ford Mustang unless I was "absolutely sure I was going to buy" I decided to go to Dewey Ford. From the initial greeting, Andy was pleasant, listend to what I was looking for and allowed me to test drive two different Mustangs. It took about two weeks to find the car equipped the way I wanted and for the price I was wanting to pay. I am very happy with my purchase. This was a great car buying experiance.

I purchased a Ford Mustang for my son after about one year of looking around at other dealerships. My son found a car with the miles, year and features he wanted on line. The internet sales representative was very responsive and went the extra mile to help him before we arrived at the dealership. The sales representative, Peter Lucas, was very respectful of my teenage son buying his first car. There was the usual negotiation of price, but they were reasonable about disclosing their cost and what a reasonable profit should be. There were the usual charges of paperwork fee, license fee, cost of going to their shop as a trade in, and a new one of identity theft charge. Still the price ended up below blue book. The car runs nice and no surprises. We returned a couple weeks later to pick up some floor mats and arrived a few minutes after closing time. The employees were nice enough to keep the shop open to get us the mats so we did not have to make another trip. Overall, this was a great experience and we have a good car at a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend Dewey to others.

I was surprised by the dealership from the first moment we got out of our car. My husband is a farmer and was dressed in coveralls that were filthy with a flannel shirt with a rip the size of a deck of cards. I bet him money that no one would even talk to us. I couldn't have been more wrong. An energetic young man with a big smile walked across the parking lot within moments of our arrival. Not only did we arrive close to the closing hour, but on New Years Eve, none the less. He made us feel that time was not important and he did not once look at his watch or even appear in a rush to get out of there. He had a fantastic sense of humor and worked tirelessly to make sure we felt we were valued and got a worthwhile deal. In fact, we were so impressed that we bought 2 vehicles from him that evening. This was the first time that we walked away from a vehicle purchase hoping he made a good commission. I have nothing but great things to say about Dewey Ford and the associates who work there. I will absolutely look for Ben at Dewey's when we are ready to buy again.

I came to Dewey Ford to look at a Chrysler 300 I saw on their website. Ben Praska saw me looking and talked me into a test drive. I took one, and had a nice drive and a nice chat. Ben worked with me in price, and started the ball rolling with a loan. From here it went down hill.I asked that only my bank be contacted for a loan, Ben said okay and got it started. After the required undercoating and paint pitch, I was transfered to Stephanie Alber for the rest of the transaction. Stephanie told me my bank had declined my request, but another was willing. Although I was surprised my request of my bank only was ignored, I said nothing. Stephanie walked me through the options for extra protection and I agreed to some. A mountain of paperwork later, I drove off in my new car.When I got home I realized I had borrowed too much. I called and Stephanie talked me through my concerns, and we cancelled the extra coverage. I then looked through my papers and could not find the motor vehicle purchase agreement. The only papers I had showed different sales prices. Still a bit sticker shocked, I came back in the next day with a family member to talk things over.I'm afraid things got a little testy. Stephanie was under the impression that I believed I had been taken, some kind of fraud had happened. This is not true, I just can't add that well and brought a family member who worked for dealer finance with my bank. We talked about the new price after the cancellations and there were some points that started to click now. Without the motor vehicle purchase agreement, the numbers were still fuzzy to me. She printed a voided copy of the agreement with new numbers for me, to see it line by line. My family member pushed for several things in writting about the cancellation of services and asked for a photocopy of the signed motor vehicle purchase agreement and the deal jacket. At this point Stephanie may have been offended and began to defend herself and Dewey. The deal jacket was filed in a locked room, and being Saturday, the individuals with the key were off. The motor vehicle purchase agreement was in the jacket. Stephanie repeated several times that I had the original and just lost it. It was my turn to be offended. A photocopy would be made and mailed. I asked if I could just pick it up Monday and Stephanie agreed. We left and I was a bit clearer on price, but now upset about missing paperwork. Ben saw us leaving and stopped us. Ben asked about the car and myself. Ben's actions and caring, mellowed me out. Monday I came in and Stephanie had the day off. Angry and frustrated, Ben pops around the corner. The only reason Dewey is getting this review is Ben. It's not fair to him otherwise.A few weeks out from all that, I love the car. I'm clear on the price. I still do not have the missing paperwork and I get loan rejection letters from banks all over the country. I'm worried about my credit with all the hits for a loan. I'll have my car service done elsewhere.Cons: Missing paperwork, my request for the source of the loan ignored, credit may be damaged.Pros: Ben Praska.

I bought a used vehicle from Dewey Ford. This vehicle has had nothing but problems since we bought it. I have had this vehicle in service over 12 times, and have had it just a year. Three of the times I have had this vehicle in it was the same transmission problem. Good thing I bought an extended warranty, to make the vehicle cost more then a new one, or else I wouldn't have been able to fix it. I didn't trade any vehicles, and ended up paying over 30,000 for this vehicle that has spent most of it's time at the shop. In my business if I sold something like this, I would have to give the customers money back. I bought a 2007 GMC Acadia with 51000 miles. It now has 55,000 miles and is currently on the shop. This is the worst car buying experience I have ever had.

Recently purchased a 2006 Ford F-150 two wheel drive in great condition. Low miles. Overall things went smoothly. Salesman and finance was good to deal with. The down side I will say was the initial communication on status of finance. Phone calls had to be made and followed up with to know where things stood. I would go back though as the person who we needed to deal with was out on maternity leave.

I haven't got to drive it again yet and won't for some time, but I have been driving Fords for some time and feel this will be dependable as the others. Very courteous to the fact that I wanted to maximaze trade in value and overall trade price. Peter worked in to the evening to come up with a trade in value and overall deal that was very good. Peter and a couple others actually stayed a little late as it took me about 2 hours to get back up there that night. The guys I spoke with that night are from the area in which I live when they were younger so I filled them in on some of the changes to their area. Great customer approach by all I dealt with and I sincerely appreciate the overall transaction. I would and will reccomend them to others.

It was a wonderful Experiance. The salesman took almost four hours showing my wife and I the differant models of trucks and the pros and cons of each. We were able to test drive the trucks and were shown the many options available. Their was never any high pressure and all of our qestions were answered in a timely manner. The lady that showed us the many aftermarket items and services was very knowlegable and helped us choose exactly what we wanted. The experince I had at Dewey was amazing. Everyone worked individually with me and as a together as a team. The energy they put off really put me at ease! I was pretty indecisive about what I wanted and was back and forth bugging these guys several times a day fro several weeks. Their patience with me was remarkable and I can't beleive I didn't drive them crazy. I at one point started o get fed up with not finding what I wanted and was ready to just go with whatever came along next. But the guys at Dewey wouldn't allow me to do that. They encouraged me to wait and that they would find me what I needed. They are actually the ones who found me the car that I purchased. I fell in love with it immediatley and the kicker... it wasn't even a car that I had in mind!! That is what amazed me most, they listened to what I was looking for, they were sympathetic to what I could afford and they really paid attention and took the time to research everything. It even had extra stuff I didn't even think of!!They worked with me on the price and assited me in finding financing. They also didn't try and push a bunch of unnecessary "extras" on me like most car dealerships do. I told them what I wanted and what I could afford and that is exactly what I got. I am a younger woman and although I have purchased plently of vehicles, I don't know a lot about them. But the great people at Dewey didn't take advantage of that and that is what I call honorable. In the same week I purchased my vehicle at Dewey, 2 of my friends were so impressed with what they did for me that one of them bought a car the same day I did and the other is going in this weekend!! I am moving out of the state very soon, but I can assure you when it's time to purchase my husbands new vehicle next year.... we will be coming back just to get it from Dewey.

I was asked by a family member to find them a Mustang. I had a poor experience at Gabus (twice) with no help. Not at Dewey, within a minute or two Brett asked very politely if I needed any help. I explained that I was looking for a red Mustang and so we went in to take a look at the inventory. We found one, but couldn't actually locate the vehicle. It ended up looking black instead of red, but Brett stayed with us. The first visit was a couple of hours, but Brett was very helpful and didn't seem to mind. The next day we came back so that the family member could test drive the car. Brett was still very helpful and didn't pressure us, even offering to let us take the car for the weekend. After deciding on that car we went back a few days later to sign paperwork. Their price was actually $500 less than Gabus for the same car on top of the excellent service. Nick, the delivery coordinator also set up the car on the Sync website, something Gabus never did. I would have given a 5 for quality of work, however, I noticed a mark on the paint later when it was home. It looks like whoever buffed the paint put a little too much angle on the wheel and skipped it across the paint. Not a major issue, just an annoyance. I am sure there won't be an issue having them fix it.

It was a Saturday afternoon on a July 4th weekend and we showed up unannounced to take a look at a new truck. Took a test drive and sales consultant did everything to facilitate a sale that day. It takes time to buy a vehicle but the Dewy staff - from sales manager, finance manager, accessory manager - took the stress out of it and got me down the road that day before closing. Was able to get a bed cover and bug deflector installed late that Saturday. I actually enjoyed this buying experience. The Dewey staff was pleasant, patient and professional, never pushed. Even sold me an extended service plan, primarily by letting me conclude that it would be good insurance for piece of mind later on. I have never bought those plans before and resisted the push put on by dealerships. Again, no pushing here. I will definitely look at Dewey for future transportation needs.

I purchased a new 2011 Ford Escape Limited 4x4 on June 30, 2011. My sales person was Dave Geyer and he was awesome. He was able to get the exact vehicle in the color I wanted with the options I wanted. I was treated very fairly on my trade-in (I received the full NADA Average Trade-in Amount). I accidently left my 6 year old son's Nintendo DS in the vehicle I traded in and Dave gave me a call at 9:00 at night to let me know that he found it in the vehicle. I'm very greatful for him calling me on this. Rob Hinds did the financing for me and he was great. I financed with Ford Credit and I received $3,500 rebates as well. He explained everything to me and really appreciate how helpful he was. I closed on my loan and pickedup my new vehicle on the very last day of the month, which is typically the business day of the month for a dealership and they gave me plenty of time to go over things even though I know they were very busy. Dewey Ford is a very competative sales office. They have the best selection of vehicles with options in the local area. Everyone on the Dewey team greeted us friendly and let us know they were there to help. In addition to that they also were rather pushy and our salesperson told us that he was selling us a car! Well, he did after price haggling, which was a good price. When we thought all was done he came back and said actually to get the price he quoted us we had to take out a Ford loan. We were told we only had to have the loan for 4 months and then pay it off. We agreed (not sure why). Patrick is a very good salesperson to get the sale, but you have to be very quick to not get caught up in the "web". After we signed the deal he was gone and we then went through several other people who did the financial, selling all the extras (credit insurance, extended warranties, maintence, etc.), instructions on the all the options and so forth. Even if you say no up front you have to listen to thier sale talk. I can't say I wouldn't recommend them but be sure to never let your guard down.

I was encouraged to put "excellent" for all of the categories and if not, give them a call to make it right. I think that does show they are committed to customer service. Fortunately I think they probably earned the rating. I went in to look at a Ford Focus but they were out of the Focus (end of the month and memorial day) so I ended up getting a Fusion and LOVED it! I was surprised at the amount I received for my trade-in and they were able to work with me on price and payments. The people were all great and I would return in the future. My only 'minor' issue was how pushy the finance was for the extended warranty and all the after sales 'extras' but the finance dept was able to help me save a few extra bucks a month. Certainly returning next time and would recommend dealership!

Beau Nielsen was super helpful, positive and informative. He was not pushy at all but did work hard to understand and meet all of my goals (price & quality specifically).There were a few follow up items that I expected to need to remind Beau about. However, he was several steps ahead of me. Much to my surprise, he had taken care of everything!Beau was very easy to deal with, as his personality is very easy-going and pleasant. This was the WORST experience we have ever had trading cars. We love our van. The sales guy was ok, however, we spent a large amount of money on a van,and had to fill it up after we bought it to the tune of 75.00. They said they only give 7 gallons for a used car. We should have went running then. We did not finance through them, we had our own bank doing this. The finanace guy was unprofessional. The next day our bank called him with questions, he spoke down to her and questioned if she knew her job. She asked to speak with his supervisior, he hung up on her and would no longer speak to her. She then called the general Manager,and he assured her he would look into this and get back to her, WHICH HE NEVER DID.We then left numerous messages for General Manager to call us back on his work phone and cell phone and HE NEVER CALLED US BACK. I then had to return to speak to finance guy, he was too busy watching a movie on his DVD player to stop and speak to me. We are a large family and buy cars often and have had wonderful experience with different dealers, we have written many letters of thanks to them. This was the most unprofessional, degrading, belittling experience we have ever had. So if you want to be treated this way, go ahead and go there. If you work hard for your money and expect to be treated well, then dont.

I received a recall notice for the airbag on my 2004 Ford F150 so I called my local Ford dealer, Dewey Ford, to schedule the required service. I've lived in Ankeny, IA for around 10 years and have never done business with Dewey simply because I have heard negative things about them from others in town. Nonetheless, I scheduled the appointment and included a service request for an oil change and tune up at the same time. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the Assistant Service Manager, Matt Karnatz, who began the check-in process. Matt and I discussed the factory recall and then began discussing the tune up, at which time Matt advised me that he anticipated the tune up costing around the $400 range but that if one of his service techs broke a spark plug while trying to remove it, that it would cost an additional $100 per spark plug for the service. I expressed to Matt that I felt that was excessive, especially if it was his team that broke the plug. Matt advised me that it is what it is and if I didn't like it then I could just take my truck. I told Matt that I will have the tune up performed somewhere else but that I still wanted the factory recall service. I then told Matt that this is exactly why I haven't used Dewey for service or purchased a vehicle from them, because of all the negative things I've heard around town about them. Matt then said, "Well I don't have to do the factory recall either, so you can just take your truck and go then", to which I responded, "yes you will". Matt then said, "No, I won't, I'm not doing the recall service either so just take your truck and go".At this point I asked Matt to get his Manager to which he responded, "I am the manager". I then said, "okay, well you have a manager too so I want to speak to that person." Matt then said, "Well, he isn't here yet". So I responded that I will wait inside for him to get there, and that I would be blogging about my experience as I wait. I went inside to wait when I was soon approached by Kent Kisling, Service Director. Kent and I walked back into the service check in area and discussed the above conversations. Kent immediately advised me, "Matt is correct. You said that you are going to blog about us so I am refusing to provide service to you, so get in your truck and go".

I was in the market for a new car, and visited 4 or 5 dealerships in the Des Moines metro area. Jeb Rich at Dewey ford was the only salesman who made me feel like getting the right car for me was the most important part of his job. I visited other dealers where the sales staff was clearly more interested in getting me to buy the first car I looked at on the lot...to the point of being annoyingly arrogant. Jeb was great about letting me have space to think, answering all of my questions and spending extra time with me presale on a technical issue with the car.When I brought my wife to the dealership, she was not treated as an afterthought, and Jeb was very nice to reanswer some of the questions I had already asked. I think I visited with Jeb 3 different times before purchasing the car, and I never felt rushed or like I was causing problems by wanting to feel confident in the purchase. I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and have always had my vehicles serviced there and somehow they find a way to make every visit better than the previous. For this, my second purchase, I worked with Beau Nielsen. Beau was a huge help in getting me the car I wanted and walking me through the entire process. Coming off of a recent bankruptcy, everyone treated me like someone who had a credit score of 750 instead of someone who just filed bankruptcy. The finance department was able to get me a great interest rate (5.9%) considering I am less than 2 years removed from bankruptcy. Dewey Ford continually exceeds all of my expectations and I couldn't imagine buying another vehicle anywhere else.

My experience at Dewey Ford was outstanding! Dustin was so helpful to me and my daughter. I planned to trade my 2003 Chevy Malibu in on a new car ... but was not sure what make or model of vehicle I wanted to purchase. After stopping at Dewey Ford, to look at the Ford line of vehicles, and talking to Dustin and Doug ... I determined that I needed to change from a General Motors vehicle to a Ford vehicle. Dustin was so helpful, answering all of my questions and concerns about Dewey Ford's service and Ford Motor Company's warranty. I did not realize that purchasing a new Ford Focus would be such a pleasant experience. I was introduced to the car that I bought by Ron Pink, he was helpful and kind which brought be back the next day. Ron was not available the day I went to go purchase but I liked the vehicle he introduced me too so much, I didnt want to see it go. The day I purchased my Vehicle I worked with Patrick Grady. He worked with me to get me into what me and my wife would consider to be our dream car. I was very happy with him and the sales team. I would recommend them to friends and family.The only negative service I had was with the financing manager, Damir Viso. We had a nice conversation before we got down to business. I understand the concept of selling extended warranty packages and service packages but when I kindly decline don't make me feel bad about it. The remark i didn't care for was when Damir Viso said is your wife or father in-law going to pay for your car when something goes wrong with it? After I just said I talked to my dad, father in-law and my wife for additional advice they said to pass on the extended packages. In my opinion it was unprofessional and made the rest of the closing process uncomfortable. Thank you again to Patrick & Ron for making the first part of the buying process enjoyable.

Zack took the trouble to answer all our questions. When my wife wanted a different color than "Dewey Ford" had, they searched until they found the right car. We had another problem finding the radio input jack on the new car. Zack went out of his way to find the jack and get the information to us.My wife had some questions about the warranty and Stefanie (Abau ?) went out of her way to explain the warranty in detail. All in all we were satisfied with the treatment we got.

Jim Page was my salesperson. He knew what was looking for, in a used car and what I could afford. I called him and said I was coming out in about an hour. He was ready to help me. He had the car, that he thought I was looking for ready for me. He was very knowledgeable about the car. He read the carfax to me. I was very impressed with the cars record and history. Jim drove the car up to me, I loved it at first sight, we took it for a spin. On the way back, I told Jim I want to drive this car home today. Jim did all he could to make that happen. He did within an hour I was driving my 2006 Malibu LS home. I love it more every time I drive it. Jim knew want I wanted, and found the perfect car for me. I was set on buying a different brand of car from a different dealer. However, I had always wanted a Mustang. Although the Mustang was more expensive than the other car I was going to buy, I really liked it. Dustin and the finance department really went out of their way to get the sale. I was able to have an extended test drive with the car, the finance department personally called several banks in order to get me the best deal. In the end I went with the Mustang. Although the Mustang was more expensive, the payments ended up very close due to the much better financing options.This is my second car I have purchased from them (previously bought a Ford Fusion several years ago). I have also purchased a car from Charles Gabus in 2005, but the service and price Dewey Ford offers is simply much better. At Dewey I have never felt 'pushed' into buying a vehicle or felt pressured in any way. I despise high-pressure sales tactics and I appreciate Dewey being one of the few local dealers who do not act in this manner.In conclusion, shop around and see the "deals" the other dealers offer you, and then go to Dewey and see how much better they treat you and how much the will save you. When you factor in price, financing, service, and everything else that goes into the overall package, it is hard to beat them. My loyalty to any company only lasts as long as I am treated fairly, and I have always been treated great at Dewey.

I first inquired about the 2011 Edge online and within the same hour, Stephanie B. contacted by phone and email to let me know all about the Edges they had and all the different options. I told her that I only had two days before I was leaving for vacation and she said that one of those days was her day off but she was willing to come in anyway so I could test drive and look at all the different Edges they had in stock! I believe that really shows what great customer service Stephanie has..to come in on her day off! Once I arrived, she promptly greeted me and we went and looked at every single Edge on the lot...she didnt rush me nor was she ever pushy. Once I found the one I loved, she proceeded to "crunch" the numbers to get me where I wanted to be on payments. We then went over to financing and Stephanie Alber was also great! She was excellent at explaining everything and always had the answer to my questions. If I were to say anything negative about my visit, it would be the amount of time it took to get everything done after I chose the Edge that I wanted, it seemed to take longer than other times I purchased a new car, but I won't complain, since the treatment I received far out-weighed the great experience!! Once all the papers were signed, I worked next with Jessica Jarrell. She was amazing at explaining all of the features of the new My Ford Touch system and the Sync system. My previous Ford also had Sync, so I was a little familiar with it; however, this new system is way better! I just want to say thanks to everyone who assisted me and let everyone know what a great dealership Dewey is!! I will definitely be back!!

I came into Dewey Ford while on a business trip looking to do a bit more research before committing to purchasing a new vehicle. Ron Pink assisted me and was very patient and got me answers to all my questions. We test drove a Ford Fusion Hybrid and I had a few follow-up questions concerning trade-in, financing, and the cost to add a needed accessory. Ron was amazing in that he proactively called me back several times with the information I needed all while not being pushy in the least. The trade in amount he offered for my car was fair and the difference amount was also fair for both parties. All in all, I committed to the purchase of the vehicle and made a trip back to pick up the car the next weekend with my wife.It was a very positive experience and not at all what I had experienced in the past. Even after the purchace, Ron called asking how things were going with the vehicle, again in a friendly way.

On our first visit to Dewey Ford to start looking for a Program or New car it was a cold windy night and out came Damir to greet us and ask how he could help us find what we were looking for. He was never over powering on selling us just concerned about what we needed and working with us. He found what we were looking for and set up an appointment to test drive. We bought the new Fusion that night and had all the paper work done that night and drove the car home. Very good customer service and never a hint of being pushed into the sale. When I arrived at Dewey Ford and saw a car salesperson, Damir, I thought to myself, oh no, here comes a salesperson already. To my surprise, Damir was not the stereotypical salesperson. He was not pushy, nor demanding. In contrast, he was very courteous, polite, and respectful. I came to Dewey Ford with a set of criteria for a car I wished to purchase. Through Damir's superb salesmanship and knowledge of not only Ford vehicles, but other automaker's as well, I was then convinced and excited to purchase my new car. Damir worked with me for a good price on the car and was able to finance the car for a monthly payment I was comfortable paying. Throughout the car purchasing process, I was never in dread or regret for purchasing the car, usually something that comes as a part of it due the financial commitment. The staff at Dewey Ford was extremely friendly and everyone I encountered there treated me as a friend. Overall, my experience at Dewey Ford was a good one. I was always treated with fairness and respect. Not to mention from start to finish I was there less than three hours. Damir kept the process rolling. I would highly recommend my friends and family to Dewey Ford. I certainly know I will be coming back when the time comes.

The sales representative, finance, and everyone else made this purchase very easy. The only issue I had was with Syncing my phone. The dealership tried and tried but could not get it to Sync. I found out after wards that my phone is not compatible. Verizon admitted as much when I took the car to them to Sync it. Oh well, a new phone to go with the new car!

I had a good experience purchasing my 2008 Ford Taurus from Mark. He did a good job helping me with my purchase. The only reason I didn't give 5's was nobody enjoys buying a new vehicle! The process of buying a car as a whole isn't enjoyable, it doesn't matter from whom you buy it from. I would give Mark a 8 out of 10 rating. He was a little slow a couple times getting back to me on the price I wanted. But I also knew exactly what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend. This is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had, and it was pleasant! He was attentive, engaged, and above all--respectful of me as a potential buyer. I can't say enough good things about him. I, also, had a great experience with the other Dewey employees. Michael Martin helped me finance the car quickly with a warranty that is excellent and affordable. Michael, also, made me feel valued and respected in this experience. Kay spoke to me about the Auto Armor interior/exterior car protection plan. Her manner was genuine and professional. Patrick walked me through the features on my new car, so that I felt confident driving off after my purchase. He answered all of my questions with courtesy and respect. All four of these people made this experience great! I hope to do business with Dewey in the future. I have already told relatives and friends of my experience. My car broke down and I was in need of a car. I tried going other places in Des Moines and didn't feel like I was a person at all I felt like a sale! I went to Ankeny Dewey Ford to just look around and see prices and what was on the lot. When we arrived Zach walked right up to us, we didn't have to wait or go in. He was ready to help! I told him what I could afford and the kind of car I was looking for. He took me straight to what I asked and told me all of the features of the car and we went for a test drive! When I decided that it was something I liked he asked for thirty minutes of my time to see what he could do to get me into the car I wanted. I didn't at any point in my time at the dealership feel like I was going to get taken for or pressured. Zach was GREAT. Stephanie was the one who helped me with the finacial part of the deal she was pleasent and fun! She acknoledged that I had good credit for my age in which made me feel like my hard work to build my credit was paying off! The one other time I had bought a car I felt as if I was pressured into a car that wasn't fit for me and left the dealer kind of sad and leary. Scott Fluegel approached us and immediately demonstrated his knowledge of the F-150. But most of all, Scott demonstrated his friendliness, patience and courtesy. I have dealt with seasoned salesmen in the past and at first I wasn't sure what to expect from someone so young as Scott. My concerns quickly vanished. Scott, despite his youth, exceeded our expectations. Not only did my son purchase a 2011 F-150, I did so as well. I had been looking for a car for about two weeks.I went there with a friend on 2/26/2011. We were meet in the lot before we even had a chance to get into the dealership. I decided to see Donald,since he had sent my niece a card for her birthday and a reminder to come see him, when she was going to buy a car. Also several members of my family told me that Donald would be able to help.I decided to look at a Ford Fusion, since that was the car that "Consumer Report" recommanded and Donald is currently driving. Donald asked me what was I looking for in a car and what color. He listened to me, then we test drove that car. It drove like a dream. Donald had gone over all the features of the car. He told me the price that he would sell the car to me at, but I had to go home and think it over.I went out there 2/28/2011 with another friend. This friend had told me what she thought would be a reasonable price. She had compared the price with three other sources. What I liked about Donald is that he listened to not only my concerns, but my friend's as well. He introduced us to several of the sales people as well as the director of sales and the manager. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. I wasn't rushed out of the dealership, because it was past closing time. Everyone acted like they had all the time in the world. The last person I met was Stephanie and she showed me how to operate all the bells and whistles on the car. When I was ready to leave the dealership with my car, Donald drove in front of me down Delaware until I got to an area that I was familiar. I haven't bought a car in ages. I thought once you get a car that is it, but not with Dewey Ford. Donald has sent me a thank you letter and checked up to see if I know how to use SYNC and I am having any problems.

We went looking for a specific F-250 Crew Cab truck we foudn on the internet. My husband looked at it on Saturday and we intended to drive it on Monday after work since we live in Boone, but when my husband called down Kevin Gascon told him was going on the truck to auction at 2pm. Well we weren't able to get down there before 5pm so we just chalked it up to "it wasn't meant to be", but the phone rang at 5:50pm and it was Kevin telling my husband the truck didn't go to auction and to see if we could come down. We quickly lined up a sitter for our daughter and got down there at 7pm. We test drove the truck and fell in love with it. We were just hoping we could come to an agreement on price. Kevin & Michael (Business Mgr) worked very hard to come within $2 of what we wanted for a monthly payment. Michael even had to back out a wholesale deal with another D.M. dealership since the truck had been sold to them at 8:30pm. GO MICHAEL!!! We signed all the paperwork and left at 9:30pm. Kevin was still there waiting for us. Michael & Kevin were fantastic to work with and we want to thank the manager that allowed for the wholesale deal to be reversed. Kevin was even there when we picked the truck up 3 days later ON HIS DAY OFF! He just wanted to make sure we were taken care of properly.We would recommend Dewey Ford to anyone we know. We were treated fantastic by dedicated employees.

Superb, absolutely great. Let me begin with I had taken my 05 Taurus in for work on 5 occasionsd in 12 months. The trips were tolerable because Dale West met me at the door, kept me informed and gave me choices to resolve the problems. He was full of answers. He was kind and professional, always a friend that was easy to talk too. With cost in mind next I go to pay....I didn't know Marla very well but she was always pleasant. Kim on the other is one that any employee would love to have on their payroll. A gracious smile that was sincere and professionally provided to a sometimes bad situation finding out how much.Then, I finally listened to Ron Pink one more time and decided to buy. We covered the lot looking for what I needed and he found it. Ron has the presentation of a good comedian and a great legislature. I mean that kindly because he was always there ready to answer a question aand if he couldn't, he knew where to find it. He would entertain with his hunting escapades. He sat you down and asked questions that I had forgot to ask. A grest person with the customers satisfaction in mind. If I got home and had a question or needed something car related he would always answer his phone and help in anyway he could. We told Kevin what we were looking for and he got back to us in a day to let us know that what we were looking for 'came in on the truck that day'. When we arrived the next morning the truck was washed, gassed up and ready for a test drive. He explained the features that were of most interest. Finally, he quoted us a fair and competitive price for the vehicle which included our previous truck in trade. We purchased a 2011 Fusion. This was our first new car purchase from Dewey Ford. We have purchased other vehicles from various dealerships in central Iowa but none comes close to the excellent treatment we received from the folks at Dewey. The sales rep. never gave up in getting us a deal that would fit our monthly payment budget. They were very friendly, not pushy, and made sure we were completely satisfied. We were even given a tour of the dealership and introduced to many of the dewey team members. Upon delivery, we were given a thorough and detailed explanation of how to operate all the options and accessories of our new car. They even set up our log-in information and explianed how to use the syncmyride website. Overall, this was our best new car buying experience. I would highly recommend my friends to purchase their next vehicle from Dewey Ford in Ankeny, Iowa.

When I initially purchased my vehicle from Dewey it was a "feel good" sale. I was happy with the price of the vehicle I purchased and they gave me what I wanted on my trade in. Not much negotiation was needed. HOWEVER I get a call from one of the loan guys a day or two later and he informs me that I owed another approx $400 for title/fees because my paperwork was done incorrectly! Rather insulting, greedy, and bad business practice. Looking back I should have told him to get bent since the paperwork was all signed for. Instead I brought a check in to him and told him how pathetic he and his business is. He responded with some B.S. of "if we shorted ourselves $400/month on every vehicle we sell then we'd lose a lot of money". I KNOW he made plenty off of our deal just like all dealerships do. PLUS a couple of years down the road I went there to have work done on the car and they couldn't do it. They had to send it to another shop which ended up being a general cluster of confusion between the two dealerships and the warranty company. Don't waste your time on this dealership. Go somewhere like Gabus or Karl's where they value the customer!

Bought used 2008 Malibu, when I called less than a week later to let them know there was a pop in the front end I would like them to check out they told me too bad, car was sold as is. Also car was deliverred to me with an empty tank of gas. Never going back there again. (they could have at least diagnosed it for free)

Steve Sexton was extremely friendly and helpful from the first time I met him but yet I didn't feel "pressured" into making a decision until I was comfortable with the deal. He (and Jeff) worked with me on the final sales price of the truck as well as the monthly payments. I must say that this was one of the best vehicle-buying experiences that I've had! Wonderful experience buying my first new car & at this Ford dealership that I'd never been to before. I had a friend along for support. We were met immediately after entering the dealership & asked if we could be helped with anything. I told him I was interested in a 2011 Ford Focus. We were introduced to Zach Battani who was very personable, high energy and positive, as well as a good listener. Zach began with questions re: what I was looking for and the type of driving I do - I commute 80 miles a day. I gave him the printout from Dewey's website for the 2011 Focus I was interested in. After checking to verify it was still avaialbel, we went through the features of the Focus before the test drive. He demonstrated the 'hands free' calling I can make when my cell phone is synced with the car's system as well as all seat/mirror adjustments, radio, heat/ac, computer ports, etc. After the test drive on interstate & in-town routes, we covered add'l info/features of the Focus. Zach pointed out that this Focus was built in Wayne, IN. I was happy to have him verify this, as I prefer American made products and have been extremely satisfied with Ford Escorts I had in the past. Zach let me know what each step of the process would be if I chose to purchase the Focus - which I did! I didn't tell him it was my 1st new car until after we'd started the financing portion of the transaction. Zach was as excited as I was to be getting a brand new auto! The financing, paperwork, delivery - everything was smoothless with very little wait. Time went quickly - I didn't realize until we were nearly done that 2 hrs. had passed! In less than 3 hrs. I was driving away in my new Focus, with a good purchase price & interest rate. I know Zach and the other staff were appreciative of my business. I let them know too how happy I was with the entire process. It was a busy Saturday afternoon, but I never felt rushed or neglected. A truly positive, satisfying experience!

I was pleasantly supprised at the customer service at Dewey Ford. Specifically the salesman named Kevin. This was my fourth experience buying a vehicle from a dealership and it was easily the best experience. I don't want to feel "attacked" when I step foot on a car lot and I don't want to feel pressured. I simply want respect, honesty and their best price. I don't want to spend hours haggling. I was a little disapointed with their initial offer, but eventually I was happy with the deal. I don't have extensive experience with dealers and salespeople, but as I said before this was easily the best of my four. I will reccomend Dewey to friends, family and co-workers, just as I told everyone I new not to deal with Quality Ford in West Des Moines.

Between me changing my mind on exactly what I wanted and trying to make a deal during the busiest time of the year, it took a couple of weeks to finally drive away in my new Ford Edge. Ultimately though I was satisfied with the price for my trade in, the deal on the new car and the financing terms I received. Mark, Rob and Jessica all stayed past closing to make sure I was able to take delivery in time to receive the $1,500 rebate on the final day of the Ford offer--they even threw in a couple of oil changes.

It was a cool December morning as we stepped out of the car at Dewey Ford and Georgios was right there to ask if we needed any help. After a short conversation he allowed us to look on our own and not pressure us one way or another. After we found what we were looking for Georgios got the keys and we took it on a test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the car. After the test drive we started to work on a price that would be acceptable for both parties involved. Georgios as well as Harley continued to work with us until we got to a price that was acceptable. This did not take long and both Harley and Georgios we very friendly during this process. I previously rated this dealer back in November after I bought my second vehicle from them. I still think they are very polite and that they were a good value..Although, It started snowing earlier this month and I took my new car out for the first time in the snow about a week and a half ago. The roads had been mostly cleared off by this time and the car was still slipping and sliding all over. This seemed odd since Dewey just installed a new pair of tires on the car. I did a little investigating and found out that they installed a brand new pair of summer tires on the car right before winter.I called Dewey to see if they would swap out the summer tires for a pair of all season like it should have had in the first place. After two days and calling three times and having them tell me they would call me back twice (which they didn't) I finally got an answer. They told me they could not do anything for me and gave me a name of a local shop that will trade in tires. Personally I feel that the mechanic who decided to put summer tires on a sedan right before winter should be at fault. They obviously feel differently. So now after owning my car for less than two months I have to get a new set of tires so I can drive my car safely.

It was a very cold day and we stopped in to see if Dewey had what we were looking for in a vehicle. A snowstorm was approaching but out of the dealership to meet us right away was a very nice man named Georgios. The cold did not stop him. He had us test driving in no time and was extremely knowledgeable about the Edge we were looking at. He, Todd and Kim spent alot of time with us finding just the right vehicle for us. Success was receiving the candy red metallic 2010 Edge for Christmas! Georgios did not leave us until the sale was 100% complete to our liking and we were handed over to a nice young man named Scott Fluegel. Wow I never believed that you need like an IT tech when you bought a car but boy did we need Scott. He helped show us the Sync system and all the features we had just purchased in the Edge. I know I will have to call him again - lots to learn but he set me up well to begin with. This dealership has wonderful people there for you when you need a new or used car. We did not feel pressured. They were always willing to give us their time. I highly recommend Dewey Ford!

I went there last Saturday after receiving a letter about a special promotion that they had going on, and drove away with a 2011 Fusion for a monthly payment that was only about $50 more than what I was paying for my 2007 Focus. Georgios and the rest of the staff were very friendly even though it took longer than normal since they were busy and short-staffed that day. I managed to get free lunch and a free oil change because of that. Great job, guys! I would definitely come back.

Beau & Harley worked very hard to give us the best deal they could. I think I got a good price on the '08 Edge I bought, but I would have liked to see a little better trade in value on the '06 Jeep Liberty that I brought in... still, they asked me for the bottom line of what I wanted/needed for monthly payments, and made it work... They've had my business for a number of years - started going there first because of Mark Vukovich, and even though he isn't there any more, their standards and customer service remain top notch!

Andrew Parks was very helpful in finding and relaying information over the telephone about the vehicle we were interested in buying. He responded immediately to our email we sent through a web search. He located the 2011 Ford F-250 Diesel with the options we wanted and had it ready for us to pick up in about business 30 hours (it came from out of state). We were, also, very satisfied with the price we paid.Luke Reitz did our financing with easy to understand explanations of our options.Scott Fluegel went over the operations of the F-250 and answered questions of about options that were on it. Since we are replacing a 1997 Lariat, there's a lot more to know than was on it. Everyone we dealth with on this purchase was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.The two-hour drive home was very satisfactory and quiet. We are looking forward to taking it to Branson, MO, for a few days; and, then to Arizona pulling a trailer with our Jeep Cherokee on it later this winter.

My husband and I bought our last car a ford explorer (used) there a couple of years ago so we went there first since they had been nice before. I needed a new car economical since i drive close to 125 miles a day being a home health aide.When we got there they never bother you they let you look around and tell you their name and when your ready for your questions to be answered they are there for you, which they were and weren't pushy which is huge for me. Since i bought a 2011 ford focus we go nowhere else to get our oil changes, new tires and brakes for the explorer and every time you get your car worked on there even an oil change they wash it for you before they bring it to you.I have never been to a company where the customer service is so great, friendly, and knowledgable from the person at the counter to the finance dept to the sales staff and especially the service dept. We drive from west des moines to ankeny for every need we have for both our cars because we have NEVER been disappointed or lied to.

Let me preface my review and state openly that prior to owning a Ford, my wife and I have always preferred GM or Import auto brands. We had also established a relatively long rapport with our primary dealer and were a bit hesitant to stray from them when we were disappointed by the current offering of the type of vehicle we were looking for (crossover). However, after some lengthy research and positive reviews, we happened to stumble upon the 2011 Ford Edge. First off we were impressed by the dealership's inventory as they had just about every trim/color combination that we had initially chosen, and it was shortly thereafter that we met our salesperson, Patrick Grady. At most other dealerships we've been to except our primary before that, we often felt regarded as "not being taken seriously", but not with Patrick. We were regarded with nothing but friendliness and respect and he displayed nothing but professionalism towards us. We told him what we were looking at and he spent even more time educating us on all of the vehicles specs and features than we could've ever imagined. The test drive was nothing short of amazing and any misconception that I had toward Ford vehicles at that time immediately vanished and it was very difficult to hide that fact! Then you can imagine my surprise when they offered to let us take the vehicle home with us overnight! I was on leave from being deployed overseas and was a bit hesitant about purchasing a car while I was home and was really wanting to wait although we knew that we would definitely end up with a new Edge whether it was now, or in the Spring when I was scheduled to be coming home. It was hard to say "no" when we were literally bombarded by every incentive/offer/trade-in allowance etc. from both Patrick and Doug McGrew. That being said we ended up buying right then and there. I can easily attribute this to being the best car buying experience that my wife and I had ever had so far. You will be hard pressed into finding a more courteous, professional,and helpful staff that is eager to earn your business, and even more so when they find out that you are a service member as a few members of their staff are/were as well. I came in on a busy day at the end of the month and I had to look around inside and out for a salesman. I knew I was going to buy a truck either that day or the next, so I was there to mess around.It turned out to be my salesman's first full sale and his first truck sale. He explained to me up front what the deal was and he worked hard to keep me informed and sought help for any questions he didn't know the answer to. He did have to have a some assistance to complete the sale. I was very satisfied with the price we settled on for the vehicle. I was also happy with the demo of all the features at the time of delivery the next day and felt comfortable that I would be able to operate all the features.I have recommended Dewey to 3 of my friends so far that I knew were looking for vehicles.I will by my next vehicle at Dewey.

My experience with Dewey Ford was first rate! First off, I got excellent service and help from my salesperson, Mike Downer. Finally, a straight forward car salesman who didn't try to pressure me or "sell" me something I didn't want or need. When it came time to discuss price, he didn't jerk me around or make me feel like I was being taken advantage of. He shot me a "more than fair" price for BOTH of us and the deal got done. It doesn't have to be that difficult.Then, I was very impressed by Kay Mezera who difficult task was to sell me the "add on" features for my new vehicle. My knee jerk response was a definitive "no" but she pleasantly took the time to describe all the options and was honest about what would benefit ME the most, regardless of what would put more commission in HER pocket. Refreshing indeed.Mike the finance guy was efficient and professional and made the "mind numbing" signing of all the documents portion of the transaction painless and quick. He was very knowledgeable with questions and suggestions and worked hard to help me understand the complexities of the financial minutia.Lastly, I was very happy with the service I received from Scott. I had purchased a vehicle with that fancy Microsoft NYSNYC technology and he enthusiastically showed me all the bells and whistles with the ease and precession of a pro. You know he had walked people through that a million times before but his attitude and passion for getting his job done right was on display from the first moment we met. In conclusion, I have purchased many a car in my lifetime. I can say without fear or reservation that this was beyond a shadow of a doubt the best experience I have ever had. So many times, I have left a dealership feeling like I got the "short end of the stick". After this transaction, I walked away feeling I got a fantastic value for my money and received the service that a purchase of that magnitude deserves.The word "team" is one that is thrown around in a corporate setting to the point of being trite. But in this case, the people I encountered at Dewey Ford indeed functioned as a team in the finest sense and I have no hesitation in recommending this team of professionals to anyone in search of a positive car buying experience.

This was my first experience buying a car. I am a college student that was looking for a new car that would last me into my young professional days. I have always liked Ford products as my grandfather worked for Ford his entire life. In looking online, Dewey had the selection that I needed in order to find a vehicle that I liked. Upon filling out an online request form, I received a call the very next morning from Mike Huss in the internet sales department. He was super nice and awesome to work with. I met up with Mark later in the day and we test drove the car I had seen online. He let me drive it as much as I wanted and there was absolutely no pressure at all from him to run numbers or anything. I joked with him after the fact that as a first-time buyer, I almost needed a little pressure to know what to do next! Dewey had the best price even before negotiation, and I was able to get an excellent value on my trade. They even were trying to qualify me for rebates that I may not have otherwise known about without their guidance, which was something I wasn't expecting. I had my financing lined up with my personal bank, so the paperwork was handled by Luke Reitz, the business manager for New Ford Vehicles. He was an excellent guy to work with. Explained everything clearly and accurately and didn't try to fluff anything. Very simple and straightforward process. It was a completely stress-free affair. Jennifer Holbrook helped me look through accessories for my vehicle, and she was such a great person. She had a fun personality and was a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions, and, although I didn't buy any extras right away, she did not pressure me in the slightest to purchase anything. Scott Fluegel took care of the delivery of the vehicle, and helped me get signed up for the awesome Sync service in my new Focus. He walked me through everything, paired my BlackBerry with the system, and ran me through everything you could want to know about the car. Best part was that he explained it all in a way that a total newbie could understand! Before I left, they all congratulated me personally and shook my hand. Mark took me around the dealership and introduced me to all of the service and body shop managers, who were all extremely cordial in meeting me. The new car sales director tossed in a few free oil changes for me, too! I won't even have to pay for any maintenance for the first 10,000 miles! All in all, the experience was spectacular. I couldn't have asked for a better team of individuals to help me with my first-time-buy.

My boyfriend and I went to Dewey to check out the Edge. We weren't for sure on which type but we knew that was the car for me. And Ron Pink was the salesman for us. He had an answer for all the questions we had and we left that day feeling pretty good and pretty much knowing we would be going back the next day to purchase that Edge. And that's what we did!! My two kids and I went in to Dewey Ford today to really just test drive a couple of cars. Dennis Omeara was the salesman that worked with us and he was so kind and helpful. He wasn't pushy at all and just answered my questions. With my husband being deployed to Afghanistan he understood my situation of doing this alone without the help of my spouse. He just said we will make it work for you and he did. He was wonderful. I have to admit, when I walked into Dewey Ford, I asked for a female sales person and the girl said, "we don't have any" and I said okay...and along came Dennis. I had nothing fear, he was very easy to work with and that is what I was hoping for.Kim Willer worked some magic and got me a great rate and a price that I could afford and I'm so thankful he could do that for me. His closing and signing of the documents were easy and painfree. He's a very kind man and I enjoyed working with him.Scott Fluegel was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with teaching me how to use the Insyn feature in my new Ford Escape. He explained things clearly and with enough detail to make me feel like I knew what I was doing. Of course, I would like to have a little tiny "Scott" to put in my pocket because I had a few more questions when I got home but that is what the manual is for!I haven't had to purchase a car on my own in the past 11 years and honestly, I was scared to death to come in today. But, my experience today with Dewey Ford was by far the best car shopping day I have ever had and I drove off the lot happy and proud. Not only were those three guys great to us but also the rest of the staff at Dewey Ford were all extremly nice, helpful and gratious. I had a few memebers of your staff thank me as we walked out the door to our new Ford Escape! We recently bought our new Ford Edge from Dewey Ford. We absolutely love the car! Right after we got it, we took it on trips to Washington, DC and Denver, Colorado, and it made the trips as comfortable as we'd be sitting in our family room.Georgios Symeonidis took very good care of us, helping us with every phase of the purchase process. He made us feel like we were dealing with a family member.I've since been back for my regular service, and found that the entire Dewey team is like that. They treat you like you're the most important person in the world.I'd definitely recommend the Dewey team to anybody who'd even starting to think about buying a car!

Georgios was awesome - we loved working with him. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable and went to bat for us with regards to the price - even though it was still a little high. I want to make sure that Georgios receives a high score. As for the overall experience, I felt a little pushed into the extended warranty and the Identity Theft policies. They were both already added into the financial paperwork (along with GAP Insurance)before each item was discussed. I did not like that experience nor did I like being pushed into it. We have since cancelled the extended warranty, did not get the GAP Insurance and found out later that you can not cancel the Identity Theft policy. I don't think any of the items were really explained to me and that the one policy could not be cancelled. What also soured this experience is that the radiator and transmission had to be replaced 2 days after we purchased the vehicle. My husband called Dewey Ford and basically told we were on our own - there was no 3 day cancellation of purchase and my husband didn't think they treated him very well. This was the 2nd car we had purchased from Dewey - I don't know that we would go back because of the financing and the way my husband was treated after the purchase. Luckily, the car was still under the factory warranty so it was fixed at no charge to us. We took it to a different dealer to have repaired as we weren't happy with Dewey Ford at that time.

We have purchsed many cars over the years, and have dealt with many Des Moines area dealerships - NONE could compare to the service we received at Dewey Ford. Andrew began helping us over the internet and was prompt, honest and friendly. He did not try to push us past our budget or talk us into something that we were not sure about. When we arrived at the dealership, Andrew was helping another customer (he actually called to let us know that he would be busy when we arrived!), so Stefanie took over. She was very helpful. She listened to our needs and our wants and found us the perfect certified used vehicle. There was no price haggling, and none of the usual "sales banter" that we have had to deal with at other dealerships. The dealership understood our situation and even held our new car for 4 days until we could get our trade in to the dealership. When we arrived to sign all of the final papers, the staff was very friendly. Every single employee who walked through the room said hello, and most had something nice to say to our kids also! Jessica was there to help us learn about all of the different features in our new car, but our daughters were tired and grumnpy by that point, so we had to rush through the process. No fault of hers - she was great. :) Stefanie and Andrew will be our go to people in the future. We will never use another dealership. We got a great vehicle at the best price possible, and received out of this world customer service throughout the entire process. Thank you Dewey Ford!

Mike Kulla is the best car salesman I ever dealt with. He was knowledgeable, friendly and did everything in his power to find me exacly what I was looking for at a price I could afford. We walked in not knowing if we would really buy the car we liked, and we came away with a fantastic new-used car that was a great deal! Jacob was a really nice guy to work with, and there was no pressure or under-handed sales tactics. We wanted a good trade in offer (the price of the used vehicle was already lower than the Blue Book value!) and after some polite negotiation, we settled on a fair price. We got excellent financing, and the finance guy, customer care specialist, and sales consultant all stayed late to make sure we left with the car we wanted, at the price we wanted.

We have had excellent service 2 1/2 years ago when we purchased our truck, so we came back when we wanted to trade for a new one yesterday. We were created right away and the sales man (Ron Pink)was friendly. We ask to see if the dales man was still working here that helped us 2 1/2 years ago and Ron checked on the computer to see who that was since we could not remember his name, he called him over the intercom but it was his day of. So Ron helped us and showed us what was on the lot. We came to an conclusion and selected a Truck. To make a long story short, we made our deal and was just about to sign all the paper work, we had to wait for a few minutes in the show room and there we saw a beautiful RED TRUCK, it was a showpiece, I looked at my husband, I said what is the price on that ( he was standing by the sticker) he said about the same as the one we are about to buy. I said we got to get this TRUCK, we got Ron to come over and we told him that we changed our mind and we want this on. Now we know it was late in the day and we are all tired and we were exhausted but your sales man and Luke the man who did the finances were the best, they never lost there friendless. We will definitely come back and do business with you in the future and all our friends and acquaintances will here our story. In talking with Kevin Gascon on the phone and telling him what I was interested in he said he would go ahead and set the car aside for me to come look at when I had the time. I showed up did a test drive and loved the car. Kevin was informative about all Dewey Ford had to offer me. Not only was he informative but not pushy or sneaky like you get at some dealerships (looking at some of the Karl Cheverolet people I talked to earlier in the month). Later Scott Fluegel helped me with Microsoft Sync. I did however know what the capabilities were of Sync, but Scott gave me the know-how on how to perform all the tasks. I've owned 4 cars in my life my new 2011 Ford Fusion being the first time I've bought a new car and I can't express how at ease these 2 salesmen made me feel. The man who helped with Financing Luke was good at showing me all the different packages for protection I could get, and not being too pushy. Kevin then gave me a nice tour of the facilities and described where I would need to go if I needed help for any maintenance for assistance with the technology in the car. Overall best car buying experience I've ever had. My pre-thought of buying a car has changed after working with Kevin, Scott, and Luke.

When my '04 F-150 went down, Ron was relentless at trying to find another F-150 that fit my specs. He kept at it and was able to find one that fit my budget. He has followed up to make sure that I was satisfied with my F-150. Paul Conrad in the service dept is another reason that I have kept coming back to Dewey for the last 10 years. Paul has always listened to me when there have been problems with my pickups and able to advise me on what to do. He's always been great at working with my schedule when I needed to get repairs done. People at Dewey have always been friendly and helpful when I've walked in their doors.

I purchased a car a couple of days after my sister did. This would be the 3rd car that I purchased from Dewey Ford. I witness my sister's great experience and decided to stop in at Dewey to look (first place). I did not have to look any further. I requested to work with the same team that my sister did - Jacob Madsen and Michael Martin! Both of them have been wonderful through the whole process. I test drove a lot of cars that night, but Jacob had no problem with me taking up his time. Finally I found the 2007 Ford Edge that only had 30,000 miles on it! I fell in love and purchased the car. I was very impressed with my recent experience at Dewey Ford in Ankeny, Iowa.My salesperson was Jim Page and he was the main reason I decided to purchase my new Ford F-150 Truck from Dewey Ford. Over the phone, Jim was very knowledgable plus he had great customer service. When I came into the dealership that same day, Jim's approach was very low pressure and he really strived to offer me as many options and choices as he possibly could. I was very impressed with how everyone made me feel valued and welcome from the first minute I walked through the front door at Dewey's. Everyone had a smile on their face and you got the feeling that high quality customer service was priority number one with the entire sales staff. We have been car shopping for several months. We have been to seveal dealers looking at seveal types of cars. Our search brought us to Dewey Ford and sales consulant Ron Pink. He showed us a model we liked, but they did not have the color and options that we were looking for. Ron Pink was able to locate a car that met our specifications in a near by state. Within two days, the car was here and we were driving it home. The finance manager, Stephanie Alber, was able to obtain financing at the lender of our choice at a very favorable interest rate. The service department was helpful with some after market products we purchased. Throughout the entire process, Ron Pink was there to make sure all processes of the purchase were handle promptly and efficently. He kept us informed at all times. He has also followed up with us after delivery to make sure everything is working fine. It was comforting to work with an experienced professional on such a major purchase. We would definately recommend Dewey Ford and Ron Pink to future car buyers. Mike showed me exactly what I was looking for, but since it had been eight years since I had bought a vehicle, I was a little off on prices. Mike showed me an alternative and I got to say, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but I am very pleased with it and plan on driving it to over 100,000 like my last one. My 2010 Escape drives like a dream, and like I told Mike, I do look good in red! Thanks to everyone who worked with me that afternoon...it was easy and very painless. I will be back again.

Our experience with Patrick was very favorable. My wife was looking to replace her 2000 Chrysler Concorde. Patrick was very helpful and courteous. He took the time to listen to our needs and did not try to pressure us. He permitted my wife to drive the car home to make certain that it would fit in our garage which was built back in the 1940's. He made sure that the 2007 Mercury Milan that we purchased would meet our needs. He had a seconf key made for us and when it took longer than he thought it would he gave us a card for a free oil change for our inconvenience. Patrick called a couple of days later to check on if we were happy with our purchase and if the car met our needs. Both my wife and I felt that Patrick went above and beyond what we had come to expect from a sales person. We would not hesitate to recommend Patrick or Dewey Ford to our friends who are in the market for an automobile. Our dealings at Dewey were mainly with Patrick but everyone at the dealership was extremely pleasant to deal with and removed some of the unpleasant experiences that we have had with other dealerships in the past. Patrick rates a gold star from us.

Went in to look for a car---tyler and john helped me find the perfect car---after looking at a few we looked at the numbers for one--i loved it but it was a little out of my budget---we found one very very similar that was what i could afford and that i loved equally--- they were both very helpful in finding a car and coming to a price and agreement that i could agree to.... this was pretty much my first car and i look forward to upgrading in a few years with them again. I Shopped at 3 other dealerships in the area and Dewey Ford provided the best deal for me. I traded in a 2001 Ford F150 that I originally purchased used from them 6 yrs prior. Sales rep Mike Downer was very easy to work with and made sure I didn't have to waste a afternoon purchasing a new/used vehicle (I cant stand waiting around) I had my own financing line up threw my credit union but Business Manager Michael Martin gave me a even better rate.I will not hesitate in going back to them in the future. I will still shop around but I'll probably end back at Dewey in Ankeny.

He showed me the diffrent F-150's they had in stock,i picked the one i liked.Kevin got the paper working rolling, and i got to met Erin Gasparovich who is the promotions manager. We have purchased two vehicles from Dewey, both of which we have had the pleasure of working with Don. The most recent purchase was a 2010 F150 Lariat. After a couple hours of the whole rigamarole of buying a new vehicle and trading in, we had made a decision. We went home that night and I tossed and turned all night because there were a few features on the truck that we really wanted; one being a backup camera/sensor. They had agreed to put one in aftermarket, but we felt if we were going to spend that much on a vehicle then we didn't want to settle or regret the purchase a few weeks down the line. I went in the next morning and expressed my concerns. Harley helped us that morning as Don was off that day. He found us another vehicle with everything we wanted and more! We picked up the truck the day it came in and drove away really happy and haven't regretted it for one second! Also, we had purchased a van from another dealership and had it serviced at Dewey after the warranty had expired. The leather on our drivers seat was starting to crack and Derek from the service department did everything he could to help us. The manufacturer wouldn't fix/replace the leather, so the dealership hired another company to fix the leather and didn't charge us for the repair! We will definitely be a repeat customer at Dewey! Thank you for all of your hard work and help!

We stopped in one day to look around and talked to Chad. We told him what we were looking for and within 2 weeks he called and said they had a truck that was pretty much what we were looking for. Chad and the fianace maneger stayed late to get the paper work done so we could take the truck with us that day. The F-150 was clean and the sales people were willing to go out of their way to help us and make sure we got the vehicle we wanted.

The staff at Dewey Ford in Ankeny Iowa that I dealt with on my latest F150 purchase made the entire experience the most enjoyable that I have had yet. Zach Battani, Doug McGrew and Mike Martin in the finance department did everything that they could to get me the right vehicle for the right price and treated me extremely fair on my trade in vehicle. The vehicle that I purchased was in the delivery/pick-up area all cleaned up and ready to go when I was ready to pick it up and the sale of the vehicle and the financing process was flawless. Zach made a point of contacting me a couple times after the purchase just to make sure everything was going good with the new vehicle so the overall customer service was excellent. I would and have highly recommended this dealership and sales staff to anyone that is looking for a new vehicle.

I spent time looking at the dealership's web page searching for just the right vehicle. I was undecided as to what I wanted to get when I first started looking but was quick to decide on the Edge. I called and talked to Beau Nielsen who was very professional and friendly. We set up an appointment with me to come and look and when I got there Beau had one Edge picked out for me. I could tell he had listened to what was important to me as far as added features and color because when I got there I fell in love with the Edge he had selected. I think he did a great job at selling the vehicle. He took the time to make sure that it was cleaned and detailed as it was a used vehicle but people still can't believe it was used because of the great job the crew did to get it ready. I will definitely buy my next vehicle from Beau as well. He does a great job at building trust and I think that's important in car sales.I was not as impressed with the financing department. I felt like I was given a great price on the vehicle but felt pressured to add a lot of extras at finalizing the sale that I wouldn't normally purchase. They already had them typed into the forms and acted like it would put them out because it would be a big deal to change them. They knew I wanted the vehicle very badly by that point and wouldn't argue. That's what these people count on so they're great sales price turned into a nightmare price by the time they were done.

I sent an email to Chad regarding a possible trade-in of my car since I had located another car at another dealer in another state. Chad worked with the used car manager and his new car sales manager and found me a deal pretty close to what I could do in that other state. So we finalized the deal with Dewey. Dewey needed to locate what I was looking for and went to pick it up. The entire transaction of getting to the deal didn't take that long (100% over the Internet/phone), and the paperwork on the day I picked it up was quick too. I'll give Dewey/Chad a chance at my next Ford car purchase/lease as well.

Within a couple weeks he located a truck that was perfect and called us back before it was sold to another customer. He stayed late to finish the deal - past closing time.

I have bought several vehicle from this dealership. My most recent, a 2011 Ford F350 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4 is a real home run. These guys definately have their act together and know their business. I traded my 2010 F150 Crew Cab Lariat in on this one. It was a real nice truck but I need a heavy tow vehicle now. We are getting a large camper soon. The F150 would not handle the weight of the fifth wheel. I have a 2010 Fusion Sport All wheel Drive as well that my wife drives. This is our second Fusion as well from Dewey. Service before, during and after the sale is top notch. Whenever we use the service department they know my whole family by first name. Just a great store with great people running it.

I started working with Georgios Symeonidis and ended my sales decision working with Jacob Madsen. Jacob is the reason I purchased the Ford Fusion I did. I wanted a different Fusion, but Jacob was great to work with and I purchase the vehicle because he convinced me. Georgios was very busy when I came in and looked at used vehicles with him. Jacob got me to look at the 2011 Fusion. Everyone was great as indicated above but when I sat with Doug (one of the Sales Managers) to hammer out the financial deal, it was not good. Doug and I did not do well, and that is why I rated the "Quality of Work" as "OK". Todd Prall, another Sales Manager, came in when Doug and I were loudly talking to one another and saved the deal because I was ready to walk out. Doug was rude and did not listen when I told him his calculation were incorrect. I was only going to pay a certain dollar amount for the Fusion and I wanted a certain amount for my Mazda trade-in. I had done my research prior to coming to the dealership. Everything else was "great" as I rated it. I have now purchased 4 vehicles from Dewey, and I will come back, but I will not work with Doug again and will instead go to Todd Prall.

This is the third Dewey Ford in my family. I have purchased previously from Dewey and know their reputation. Don Avant, sales person, was fantastic. I never felt pressured or hurried and Don was extremely helpful. Don is a very patient person who let me take my time deciding which vehicle I wanted. I leve by myself and I had to take my new car and old car home and Don helped with that by driving one of my vehicles. I grew up in a small town and the experience I had at Dewey Ford felt like a dealer who knew me and who really cared. The sales manager thanked me twice and told me he really appreicated my business and I honestly felt like it was a genuine comment. I would have no problem recommending Dewey Ford. I believe the person who explained the controls of the vehcile was named Scott (I apologize if I don't have hsi name correct)and he did a great job. He also told me if I had any questions or needed help he would make sure to help me.

I am fresh out of college and bought my first car - a 2011 Fusion SE. I was a little nervous and Ford really took care of me and made me feel at ease. Chris Leo was unbelievably helpful and answered my e-mails (and I had several) for questions I had about the Ford Fusion within a matter of minutes. He was there to help with anything I needed and it was a great experience. I will definitely be going back to Ford in the future, thanks to Chris. Scott Fluegel also helped assist me with all of the Microsoft Sync features and did a great job and knew exactly what he was doing.

The service department is a rip off. I took my '93 cougar in to have the head gaskets replaced. The service tech quoted me $2,000 to fix it. After I had stated that $2,000 is more then the car is worth, he proceeded to try and buy the car from me for $100 (He was going to pay the cost of the diagnostics for me, and thus take my car), which is a total rip off. <br><br>Took my cougar to another dealership in the area and paid $600 for my head gaskets to be replaced.<br><br>I will have to say that the managers are very nice, and took care of that service tech (He's been fired). But I wouldn't recommend the service department there.
