My wife and I had one car in mind when we arrived for a test drive of that car, but as sometimes happens, we fell in love with a different car. Noi was our salesman, and before 3 hours had passed, we had driven the car, negotiated a great deal on the car, and were on our way home with the car. This is our 4th Acura from AOP. The people in the dealership are outstanding. The cars they sell are outstanding.

I took my SUV to Dick Hannah of Portland Service Department for a Recall repair and the 120,000 mile service - which includes OIL and OIL FILTER change - They recommended a major critical repair - it will cost $1,600 they say -- In addition to this critical repair - the dealership had a whole list of recommendations - so basically my truck failed inspection - to fix the other issues will cost $840 they say - Due to the way I was treated the last 2 times I was there for service - I decided - I'm never going back - So - I contact my mechanic & schedule my truck for the "much needed repair" - they quote me $1,050 - Mechanic calls me with good news - he commented that my truck was in very good shape. DID NOT NEED the dealership recommended critical repair because it DID NOT EXIST - He did say that it severely needed an OIL CHANGE - I was livid - I spoke to Service Manager JOEY THOMAS - He told me he stands behind his technicians and offered to have me bring my truck back for inspection - NOT GOING TO HAPPEN - I am thoroughly disgusted and pissed off and it feels like I had been pissed on by this dealership. I stand behind DOING THE RIGHT THING AND NOT SCAMMING YOUR CUSTOMERS -

I had an amazing new car sales experience at Dick Hannah. Through an interesting sequence of events, the new Acura I wanted was there, then sold. But the amazing part was all that Khoa, Nick, and the other sales staff went though to find another car. I have never had an experience where I felt like the sales people were more concerned about me and worked so hard to try to get me the car I wanted. Unfortunately I didn't end up purchasing the car through Dick Hannah, but that was not due to any lack of effort on their part. I would HIGHLY recommend this car dealership to anyone looking for honest, straightforward sales people who care about the customer and his wants.

...and then there is Dick Hannah Acura. We bought a 2016 vehicle from them back in July (took delivery in August) after buying a 2015 vehicle from Ron Tonkin Acura across town back in December 2014. The reason we decided to try Dick Hannah for our second vehicle was because we thought they might be more willing to negotiate on price. Well, hindsight is always 20/20. Below are our experiences with Dick Hannah Acura:1. The finance department is extremely slow. I signed my original sales contract in mid-July. We had a trade-in Hyundai with negative equity on it, the loan on which they offered to pay off quickly. They didn't pay it off until September 1st, which means we got hit with a ~$580 additional monthly payment for a car we no longer even had physical possession of. Now, logic would then follow that since the principal on the Hyundai was lowered as a result of our additional monthly payment, I should be refunded some money when the dealership pays it off, right? Not so; because they took so horridly long in their processing, interest charges ate up most of the $580 and we only got back $75.2. Finance is also extremely disorganized. When I asked them about the AcuraCare extended warranty, no one in the whole dealership had a copy of the manufacturer's fine print terms on hand. They told me I would get a copy in the mail after I signed up. I told them I would not sign something when they didn't even have fine print for me to read.3. The service department is very unfriendly and condescending. A few days after I took delivery of my new 2016 vehicle, I noticed an issue with the brakes. The pedal would go stiff if the car was left off for 24+ hours, something our 2015 vehicle does not do. I brought this up with the service department, and they immediately dismissed my concerns as "it's normal". When I tried explaining my concerns further, the tech simply sneered at me (while I was still speaking!) and brushed it off as "it's a feature with the new model year". What a textbook answer of a horrible staff member.4. I specified several accessories to be added on to my new vehicle. This required an appointment with service, which I scheduled. My natural understanding was that they would install the accessories in their shop. No one told me that their body shop is actually located in Vancouver, WA, and that they would be clocking over 30 miles on my new car driving it there and back! 30 miles is not much in the grand scheme of things, but I am extremely miffed that they did so without informing me at all. Ron Tonkin Acura on the other hand, does not do this. They install all the accessories at the dealership.5. One of accessories I added to my car was the "Lower chrome door trim". It was so shabbily installed that they started coming loose in less than a month. I eventually had to get both front chrome strips replaced.6. While they had my car in Vancouver, they actually forgot to install one of the accessories that I had requested and paid for in my loan. They told me they would have set up another appointment to take the car back there again. I said "forget it" and asked for a refund on the accessory. More on that later.7. The license plates took over two months to arrive. The vehicle was ordered in mid-July and I signed the application for the plates then. The vehicle was delivered to me on August 6th. I did not receive my plates until October 22, which was uncomfortably close to the early-November expiration date of my temporary sticker. Ron Tonkin on the other hand? They have your permanent plates installed onto your new car before you even drive it off the lot! 8. Remember the accessory they forgot to install? I asked for my money back, and now finance won't pay me. They first told me that they would mail me a check, but it never showed up. Upon further in-person inquiry, they told me that they mailed it not to me but to Acura Financial Services, as they claim they are required to do so in these cases. I meticulously checked my loan account, there was no sign of it anywhere. Upon further in-person questioning, they backtracked and told me they hadn't mailed the check yet, but would send it out the following Monday, and that it would probably show up in my next statement. It's been two statements since, and it still hasn't showed up. That's once that I've had to call them and twice that I've had to go to the dealership in person and I still don't have my money. I am tired of being lied to my face and stolen from.The bottom line is this: Dick Hannah Acura is a most unpleasant and treacherous place to buy your next vehicle. They are condescending, rude and dishonest--the combination of which is a difficult feat to achieve even for a car dealership. So shop here if you enjoy being cheated, looked down upon and bald-face-lied-to. If you don't, save yourself time, money and multiple headaches and buy from Ron Tonkin instead. Just the 2c of someone who has bought cars from both establishments.

Last Thursday my husband and I were in to look at a car. With the help of Ernie and Nick we ended up buying our very first brand new car! The experience we had was far from your typical car dealer purchase. There was no pressure and Ernie was genuinely after our best interest. We were there pretty late for a week night but not once did we feel rushed or pushed out the door. I will be recommending more people in the market for a car to Ernie and Dick Hannah based on the whole experience we had. Thank you!

Very deceitful and dishonest. We negotiated and found the car completely over Internet. We had them run our credit and get us approved over the Internet. When we showed up they did not have the right vehicle and they switched us to a much more expensive vehicle, they paid us less for our trade in, and our monthly payment went up $30+ dollars a month. We should've had a clear mind and walked away but it was almost 10 o'clock at night and the thought of renegotiating at another dealership was completely exhausting. So although we ultimately did decide to take the wrong car and paying a higher payment, it is not a dealership that we would recommend. Their old school sales tactics and bait and switch is very outdated and disrespectful to an intelligent clientele. We had a far better experience at Ron Tonkin and our next lease will be from them. After finding out that we were upset it took five days for the sales manager to finally call us. he explained it was not their policy to tell a customers they do not have the right vehicle even when they set an appointment on that exact car. It is also not their policy to make sure that the person making the decision is aware of any number changes ahead of time. They knew that I was the negotiator and purposely had my wife signing numbers while I walked outside. I did not find out until we were in finance. The sales manager found nothing wrong with this and said it was company policy. In my opinion I will never spend another dollar at this dealership or franchise. As I said we ultimately did make the decision to go forward with the lease but it was out of pure exhaustion and discuss. we just wanted the process to be over. Certainly not the treatment you would expect out of a luxury car brand.

Every employee had a smile and greeting for us and helped keep my young son entertained and engaged during the process. It took several visits for me to find The Perfect Car, and their patience was limitless although I'm sure they were seeing me so often they wondered if I'd moved in. Brad and his sales team worked tirelessly to find financing for me, Tuan made the usually tedious paperwork process quick and painless, and Jose went over the car top to bottom, carefully explaining the many features that were new to me. Dick Hannah isn't like the other auto dealers in the area you can tell that the employees are genuine, honest, and straight-forward, which is rare to find at a car dealership!!

If there was an option for "no stars" I would choose that. Let me start by saying that this is my first "real" car buying experience for my own vehicle. I have seen and accompanied other people for their purchases, but never have I ever seen anything like this. Back in March, I found a Jeep on the Dick Hannah website, it was available at the Dick Hannah Acura off of Stark Street. I decided to look it over, ask for opinions and weigh my options as there were other vehicle that had caught my eye. For the price and what I THOUGHT I was getting, I was sold. But I wanted to see it and drive it myself before sealing the deal. I arrived at Dick Hannah on a Saturday morning and immediately went straight to the vehicle, without waiting for a sales rep. I looked over and under and read everything that I could before having anything change my frame of mind. Of course not long after, I was approached by a nice gentlemen names Jose. He brought umbrellas out to us and was eager to assist in any way he could. He quickly went to get the keys for a test drive, as we were looking inside to allow more time to examine. Everything looked great. When he came back, we started it up, popped the hood and let that baby run. No issues, no weird sounds, no red lights. The test drive was amazing, the Jeep was sound, safe and very comfortable. I didn't even test the radio until after I got back to the dealership. I had it set in my mind that this was what I wanted. I immediately went in and said ok, this is what I want, lets do this. They wouldn't budge on price, ok, that's fair, it's a great catch. Or so I thought. Fast forward to a week later. This is where it all started. Being the first weekend of ownership, I wanted to take my family to ride in the Jeep at the beach. After the first night there, we went to get into the jeep and noticed water on the seat. I immediately looked up to notice that the roof was wet and leaking. Ok, lets call and see what's up. Called to see what options there were, was told to bring it in, fair enough. Fast forward a couple more days, tried dealing with my sales rep to see what could be, absolutely no response. I take it in that following Saturday. EVERYONE there was so surprised and had no clue what was going on. Oook. Well let me tell you. Please figure this out. An entire day later, I get a call from the service department to come pick up my Jeep, there's nothing they can or will do. Was told, and I quote, "If you were to Google it, it's a pretty common problem. Take it to Jeep."," Our vehicles are sold as is." "It's a Jeep manufacture faulty." Um, ok! Well, I guess I will do just that. Fast forward last time, to this last week. I take my Jeep into Dick Hannah Jeep in Vancouver, off Auto Mall Drive. Team Service Manager, Teila, was absolutely wonderful. Due to them closing and my needing the vehicle, I couldn't leave it then. But explained the situation and was told they would look at it. I moved stuff around and made it so that I could leave it for a few days. Took it in, absolutely great, fast efficient, felt very secure leaving my Jeep there. MUCH to my surprise, when I received the details of my repairs needed, I WAS FLOORED! Over $4,000 worth of damage found, DURING THE SAME DIAGNOSTIC THAT ACURA RAN! I couldn't believe it, I was speechless. I tried to contact Acura, Jeep tried to contact Acura, nothing. Nobody will respond. I have numerous email attempts, even tried online chatting with a rep. The only way to get an answer is in person, and even then it doesn't get fixed. Perhaps legal action or a KATU news is the key to getting things fixed. Regardless of whether or not I purchased an extended warranty, this vehicle should not have been sold in this condition. I will absolutely be sure to update, when xxxx freezes over, and I get a response.

Don't know why there's so many negative reviews on here, expecially on loans falling through. The dealer has no control over a banks decision to finance you or not, I had two previous loans fall through earlier this year and not once did I blame the dealership.On to my personal experience. I have been trying to get into a newer, safer vehicle for a couple of weeks due to my wife and I both working and expecting our first child in August. So being leary from a bad experience from another dealer in Vancouver I decided to give these guys a try and we're glad we did. We were greeted promptly upon entering the store and it was a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. After some chatting with Randy about what we were looking for in a second vehicle he suggested a 2012 Honda Civic. We looked at the car and took it for a test drive, it had some powered options but that was the least of my concerns but it handled very well, gets great milage and has 4 doors, perfect for what I need. So getting back I conveyed my interest in the car and Randy goes and grabs a writeup and I'm thinking here comes the horse-trading. He sits down and we start talking and exchanging information for the financing, he takes the info to his sales manager Nick and my wife and I talk about where we want to be and our fears (we filed bk last year). Randy came back out with financing that was well below where we wanted to be and with a warranty to boot!Try these guys out if you haven't and if you have give them another shot: Randy, Nick and Tuan. I had a wonderful experience with Dick Hannah Acura! Tony was very helpful on the phone prior to my visit, and took the time when I arrived to set me up with Sandy a knowledgeable, personable, saleswoman. I was tread with respect and honesty throughout my visit. My kids were offered coloring sheets, snacks, cartoons, and never seemed like a burden. I was happy to work out a deal that fit my needs, and get into a car that I LOVE!!! I would definitely come back in the future!

I have been bringing my Acuras in for service here for over 20 years. They have been consistently good and attentive to my needs, especially to minimize costs and keep my cars running past 200,000 miles. Lately, my current service manager, Derek, has been great at helping me track down an intermittent noise on our MDX at no charge until they identify it and do the work. I just had regular maintenance done and appreciate the customer loyalty discount program.

I had a disappointing experience with the service department today. I brought my Acura TSX in to find out what was causing a parasitic draw on my battery. I called and ask how much it would be to diagnose the problem and was told it was free to evaluate my car. I asked the Team service Manager Steve Becker again when I arrived he also stated it was free. After finding what might be the cause (door lock actuator malfunctioning) they called the company I have a warranty policy with. Come to find out they included the evaluation in the price to repair it, after stating it was free. If you guys can't be honest and up front why should I trust you to work on my car that transports my family around? I would not even recommended you to my worst enemy. You lost my business.

I recently purchased an 18 month old Acura RDX from a private party. I took the car to Dick Hannah Acura for the first service, 15,000 miles approximately. The service department was very organized, polite, explained thoroughly what they would do to the vehicle, and everything was taken care of in the exact amount of time they indicated. The customer service area is spacious, clean and well maintained, also.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE GETTING WORK DONE ON YOUR CAR IN THIS PLACE!Heres a little story about our experience with Acura of Portland repairing our car. We took our MDX in in November to have a water leak fixed, and were given a very nice loaner car (we appreciate that). We didnt know where the leak was and knew it might take a while to fix. We were also prepared to pay what needed in order to do this, and we had about 1,500 dollars more of regular maintenance we were planning on having done in the near future.About 5 days into having our car we finally heard from the guy dealing with us and were told that the leak was for sure from the windshield. We were relieved and told them to go ahead and put a new one in- even though we knew it would be much more expensive than finding someone on our own to do it. Nearly two weeks into having a car they called to say it was finished and we could come get it. So we loaded up our one year old, in an ice storm and drove 40 minutes each way to get it. When we got in our car it was absolutely disgusting. COMPLETELY FILTHY. Our black interior was covered in a nasty grey dusty substance, they didnt bother to clean up anything, there were BROKEN pieces of our car sitting in our center console and it was still SOAKING WET! We were absolutely appalled that they would even attempt to return it to us looking like this after we had just paid nearly 500.00 dollars for a new windshield. We refused to take the car until it was cleaned and had to, once again, transfer our child in the ice, into the loaner car. The man helping us said he wasnt sure why it was still wet because THEY RAN THE CAR WITH THE HEATERS ON IN ORDER TO DRY IT. Seriously? That is how you chose to dry my car? You were going to return a car brought in for a water leak, wet? Wow.The next day we were asked to come back and try again, and we did, and the car had been complimentary detailed (which they should have done in the first place with a 500 dollar windshield). It looked and smelled great on the inside and we were fine with the fact that they couldnt do the outside due to the weather. Fine. As I drive away I realize that they had drained EVERY last bit of my gas in drying my car with it running. Not pleased about that either.Many people offer us things to make the situation right, including a full tank of gas, which we appreciate and are feeling a bit better until fast forward to the next week when it rains AND MY CAR LEAKS JUST LIKE IT DID BEFORE!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. We attempt to call a few of the many people who want to make the situation right and not one of them return our phone calls. Funny, huh? So we finally reach an agreement that we will bring it back and they can find the leak for free this time because the last leak they fixed was unnecessary. The new man we are dealing with is very unpleasant. We are again, left with a loaner car, which is a life saver, yet this time my husband tells them exactly where to find the leak. They call once they find it, in the exact spot my husband suggested and tell him it will be 800 dollars per side to fix. He decides to find somewhere else to have that work done, as that is yet another outrageous price and with what we have been through we are not willing to pay it to this establishment. Fast forward to this morning when my husband goes to pick up our car, which has been filled with gas (thank you) but is absolutely disgustingly dirty again. They didnt bother to put it back together and there are trim pieces everywhere, AND the water they sprayed in to find the leak??? ALL STILL IN OUR CAR!!!!!! I cant make this up. It seems unbelievable, but it is true. How can an establishment that works with luxury cars, and changes astronomical prices get away with doing business like this??? It is appalling. I guess if I had read reviews I might know that I am NOT the only one having absolutely terrible experiences with this chop shop. I can tell you, there is absolutely NO WAY we will be giving one more penny of our money to this pathetic excuse of a repair shop, and I will do my absolute best to share this story with AS MANY people as possible. I have never written a review on anyone before, but I will find every single place available to post this.Thank you Acura of Portland for making the last month an absolute nightmare and for leaving us with a huge mess to clean up. Been coming to AOP since 2004 to get my RSX serviced and every visit is excellent. Service department is knowledgeable and the 360 inspections are great. The wait is a little longer for oil changes, but it's worth it for me to know my car is functioning properly. It also comes with a car wash so I'm always leaving on something shinier than I came with. Recommend!

He makes sure everything is explained and detailed out when questioning any service or fee. You need to keep him helping your clients, this way we will always return. Kristina was delightful she was happy and easy to work with. We just met yesterday on the phone and I immediately got a good vibe from her I knew she would be fun to deal with. I knew she was a new sales person and I wanted to give her a sale. If we could reach good terms. I like to work with people that are nice. The whole experience was easy and low pressure. Jose, Brad, & Tirzah were all exceptional. They were not pushy or overly confident. They were PHENOMENAL! Our situation made it extremely difficult to get into a vehicle we liked... Having not purchased a new vehicle in over 15 years, my wife and I were not looking forward to the traditional car-buying experience. We were pleasantly surprised when we began our car shopping experience with Justin and Mark, just how easy todays car-buying experience can be. After a quick test drive of an RDX during the 2014 Portland Auto show, the remainder of our dialogue was strictly via email. Justin/Mark were prompt and courteous in responding to our man email questions. Our next in-person contact with those gentlemen was when we arrived at the dealership to pick up our new vehicle. I was greeted as I got out of the car and told that Sam was on a call and would be with me shortly. Sam explained what the service was B13and what it would entail and how long it would take (I wait). He asked if there was anything else I wanted and I explained my battery was at least 6 years old and I wanted it changed, I didn't care if it tested OK. When the car was done, Sam went over what was found and how well everything checked out and what to expect for the B14 that would be coming up in the next year. It was a very informative appointment.Even though I get a Loyalty discount, I have no comparison and I want to pay a fair price, but the Brand just shouts expensive. (sorry).Kudos to Sam for treating me like a person with some knowledge.

We have purchased four automobiles from Hannah Dealerships and three Acuras. Experience up to now has been good, but never had major problems with any of the vehicles we purchased from them. That is up to our '13 Acura MDX. We experienced issues with the power steering system and blue tooth connections to our phones. Major work was authorized and performed by Hannah on the MDX to resolve a issue with the power steering but was not resolved. The management said they would stand behind us but we realized they meant, way behind us. Even though Acura authorized hundreds of dollars in repairs that did not fix anything, they then claimed the problem is a "Characteristic" of the vehicle. Blue tooth on a loaner '13 TL worked fine but our MDX had an issue. Acura again used that this was a vehicle "characteristic", Dealership said they would make sure we were happy. They said they would trade in the seven month old MDX for about 2/3s of the original sale price. Good deal for them, not for us. This is the last Acura/Honda product we buy and definitely not do anymore business with a Hannah dealerships. I guess this will be our "characteristic."

The team was very polite and efficient and answered all of my questions. Service was completed well before the time I was given. I did not have to wait to check in and was greeted and checked out immediately. It cost less than I was quoted on the phone which is always a pleasant surprise. I was told my vehicle was in great shape.

I bought my 2004 TL here at Acura of Portland about 6 years ago. The service team here are simply incredible! They have not only kept my car running at peak performance but I am proud to say that I am currently at about 304,000 miles and the car is still running strong! They always take care of me and for that reason I will be returning soon for my next car!

I find I can truly trust Ray Reynolds, Red Team in the service department, with maintaining my 2000 RL in tip top running condition. If the service dept. finds an issue with my car he's there on the phone explaining the details to me. I've never felt 'hard sell' pressure or been asked to pay for service that was not needed. Ray is great in fitting me in quickly when I have unexpected service needs as well. I'll continue taking my car to Dick Hannah Acura for all of my future servicing needs. Thank you Red Team!

After graduating college, I came home for a few months to find an affordable car. A very personable, helpful, and professional sales associate of yours named Noe Galvez assisted me in attempting to find a car that suited me. I told him I wanted a car that was red since that is my favorite color and also economical. He suggested a 4-door, automatic, Hyundai Elantra with a CD Player. It was used, but only had about 2,000 miles driven on it. I liked the fact that he helped me find a car in my price range and that was in great shape! I have had the car since August of 2012 and haven't had any problems with it! Thanks Noe for recommending this car!

I moved from Michigan to Camas Wa recently and I need an oil change with any scheduled maintenance. Without an appointment I went there and was greeted by a young handsome gentleman, who is really friendly and patient with me when I told him my visiting purpose. He checked my vehicle, identified a few scheduled maintenance needed and made recommendation to me with all the price options. It took only 50 minutes for the technician to complete the job with a nice clean car wash. During my waiting time, I chatted with this gentleman about my on/off situation of displaying messages such as "tighten your fuel cap", "check engine emission system" that I had experienced during past months. He nicely and patiently explained to me several possible causes, which pretty much agreed with the on-line research I did. When I was in Michigan, I always brought my MDX to a nearby Acura Troy in Michigan and I had been very pleased with their quality service. After moving here, I am even happier with this new dealership because I can put my trust in them.

We purchased our used 2005 TL here in late 2006 with about 20,000 miles on it. It now has almost 90,000. We live approximately 45 minutes west of Acura of Portland (AOP) and I have been taking our Acura here for service every since. I have always had an excellent experience working with AOP. I first worked with Joey and from there lately with Ray. Employees have always been friendly and willing to provide the service needed without trying to sell or perform work on it that was not necessary. I find it worth my level of confidence to travel the distance I do for the work that AOP provides. Can I find a place that is not as expensive, yes. Am sure I can. Would they be a thorough a d caring and complete I don't know. That is why I come back.

I would have to say that my experience with Dick Hannah Acura started out good,I enjoyed Matt our Sales person he was extremely friendly, professional and helpful we appreciated his professionalism. We bought a used car and we were offered the full warranty for 3 months or 3000 miles on all major systems, we were also offered the Loyalty Rewards Program. We had a new guy help us with signing our papers and he never went over the EXTENDED WARRANTY although we were told we opted out of this, If we opted out of this weren't aware. In the first 30 days we had a trim piece fall off the front driver door it had been broken and they put it on with double sided sticky tape. In the first 30 days we had a driver side light cover in fall off it was also broken, the abs light came on as well as the service Air ride control and Tire control message flashing. We took the car in and we were told that none of our mechanical defects where covered and it was going to cast over 700 just for the air compressor. We were told that the trim piece and marker light couldn't be replaced. We were told that we should have purchased the extended warranty!?! The Sales manager called my husband a liar he told him he should have got the EXTENDED WARRANTY. We only had this car a little over a month and the DEALERSHIP isn't the least bit concerned about what we may think about the car they sold us or their lack of empathy for the situation. My husband asked him, So your motto is (WE BELIEVE IN NICE). I guess that doesn't apply today? The sales manager didn't respond. We asked to have the car put outside with the keys locked in it. We told them we would pick it up. Brad the Sales manager was more then happy to do that for us. I received a call from Rob in the Services Dept. he was very nice and he did have empathy for our situation but unfortunately that didn't lower the cost of the repairs on our NEW/ USED CAR. We could have chosen any dealership we live near Auto Row, we chose them because we thought dealing with a larger dealership might be the better option. We now believe that it really doesn't matter when it comes to buying a used car. I believe this dealership should have offered to cover some of the cost. Beware of this dealership. They don't BELIEVE IN NICE!

My experience was extremely enjoyable. Sandy was very relaxing and personable. She was able to connect on a personal level. My favorite aspect of her approach was that she was not pushy or persistent in any way. As she let us talk amongst ourselves whenever needed. The GM also came out in a relaxed manner and spoke with us about various info, etc. He was extremely enjoyable to talk to and reassured me of the kind of company I was dealing with. They both made my first car buying experience great!

This dealership does not deserve to stay open. After bringing my car in over four times for the tire light coming on the employees lied to me. The guys in the service department are so poorly trained they couldn't find a simple leak, they had to take the car to Les Schwab. Then once they found the leak they tried telling me that Lexus approved only two of the tires being replaced with tires of a different tread. My car is all wheel drive so I knew that all the tires needed to be equal in use and the same tread. When I spoke of my concern they said they called Lexus personally and the woman said it was fine. The manager Tony also said that it was fine because my rear tires were a different size than the front. This was not true, all four tires and rims are identical. So either Tony, the manager, lied or he is can't tell the difference on something as simple as tire size. I called Lexus to verify what the service man said and the woman who the employee spoke to said she warned him it would ruin my transmission and should under NO circumstances be done. The employees here have no respect or morals. They do not care about their customers or their safety.

Dan was just the kind of salesman that it takes for me to buy a product. He was non pushy, informative and most of all he had time to answer my questions. I usually take my Acura to the Ron Tonkin Dealership in Beaverton, where I purchased my car (10 years ago!). When my "TCS" light and another, unknown indicator light came on and my car was sounding and feeling like it was changing gears, I was concerned with driving the freeway to Beaverton. Midas technician did a diagnostic scan and looked up the part in his computer. He advised me that only the dealer could get the part I needed. I was about 1/2 mile from the "Acura of Portland" dealership. It was my first time going to this dealership and I admit it was right at 6p by the time I found the Service Dept. (I had parked on the other side of the store).The person in the service dept. wasn't very friendly, at first and told me the Service Dept. was closed and no technician was available to help me. He agreed to take my telephone number and call me with the estimate and schedule an appointment, which he did. Then, everything turned out fine.Today (4/6) my "maintenance check" indicator light came on!!

I sold my car at this dealership via the internet Autotrader site and got a great deal, better than if I would have traded it in at a dealership while buying a new car. Then I contacted Tony again, since by now I built a great rapport, to see if he could help me buy a new a car from another Dick Hannah dealership at a lower price than what I was being quoted in the various dealership. Even though he is an Acura salesman, he willingly agreed to it and displayed a genuine concern for my best interest, knowing that if I would come out happy from the experience, I would refer him out to my friends and acquaintances. Tony and the rest of the staff proved to be professional, friendly and genuinely helpful. I already referred him out to a few people. Thank you Tony, you are great! You have restored my faith in auto dealers, but mostly helped me out in a real stressful time in my life and made my buying a car experience a pleasant one instead of a stressful one. I am grateful.

After a day or so of negotiating the sales person said "Let's meet in the middle, $150 difference each. I will take this to my manager and make it happen - $150 is not going to break us. I have the keys in my pocket. I consider this your car. I will put a Sold sign in the window and move the car to the back of the lot. I'll call you in ten minutes to let you know." I said "Okay, deal." I got a call about an hour and a half later. "I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is the car was sold. The good news is I found a dealer two states away with the same colors. If you are willing to pay the full price (i.e., no longer meet in the middle) we can still make it happen." After a few minutes I called back and agreed to the deal. The sales person called me back and said "my manager called their manager and it is done. We have to work out the dealership trade but they know we have that car. You have nothing to worry about. It is done." I agreed to come in the next morning to put down a deposit on the car; the car was to be transported one day later. I thought it was crap to tell me the car was mine and it was being pulled from the lot, only to be told it was sold. The salesperson had a lot of excuses for how the keys were supposedly in his pocket but the car was sold to someone else ("it was a fleet manager and he has a lot of pull"). It was also 'convenient' how the sale of this car was resulting in me paying more for the next one...I was a bit peeved but still wanted the car so I got the family up and drove across town for my 10am appointment. I got a call at 10am (which I couldn't answer) and another one a few minutes later where the salesperson told me the car had been sold. I challenged him on this - just the night before he said his manager spoke with their manager and the car was held. His explanation? The other manager looked online at his inventory and didn't know the car was gone until he walked the lot the next morning. I call bullshit on that one. But wait there is more. Shock of all shocks...the salesperson invited me to come over and test drive the cars they had in stock, never mind they weren't the colors I wanted. Again, I call total bullshit on this move. In my opinion the car two states away never existed and this was all part of a scheme to get me to pay more for a car I clearly never wanted. In total, I will never do business with these people. Ever. They represent the worst of the worst, some sad compilation of the worst stories you've ever heard about with car salesmen. Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. I give them 1 star because I can't give zero stars.

I had the most amazing experience at a dealership I have ever had, at Acura of Portland. Not only did I get a beautiful car that I drove all the way from California to get, but I made a new friend. I am so thankful for all the help I received from everyone, but especially my sincere thanks to Anthony Lockett! I had talked to 3 other dealerships online initially, and he by far exceeded them all. No doubt what so ever, I WILL BE BACK for my next car.

I live in Washington state near the Canadian border. After dealing with several Seattle dealerships, I found their prices much too high in comparison to other states. I routinely travel to both Chicago and Las Vegas and was seriously considering purchasing vehicle from one of those states and driving back to Washington as their prices were substantially less than the three Seattle dealerships. On a whim I contacted Acura of Portland and they really went beyond the call of duty to assist me and the budget constraints I was working under for a 2011 Acura TL with Tech. If you can afford to pay whatever the Seattle dealerships want, by all means shop with them. However, if you are looking for a fair price, Acura of Portland is the best place to go in the Pacific Northwest. Duane Phillips was honest and straightforward with me and never gave me the runaround. In addition, I was able to do all this via phone and email as Portland is 5 hours away. My wife and I went to the dealership with the intentions of purchasing a new car. I had made contact with the internet sales person and requested several vehicles to look at. Once we arrived the internet sales rep made us wait for about 45 mins prior to even showing us any vehicles which was onlt two out of the eight I requested.Now comes the trade in.... We had a 2000 BMW 740il top of the line BMW with low miles for the year and in excellant shape inside and out when they appraised our trade in they came back and said it had been wreaked before because " checked with a paint meter" and only offered us $4000.00 after going back and forth we left and took our BMW to a independent appraiser whom said they lied and where just trying to make a profit which I felt was true. So we took our buisness else where and will recommend people stay clear from Acura of Portland.

Everything was first class. I don't get in there often but it was easy to see they like to pamper their customers. Even though I came in for warranty work, they washed the car and vacuumed it too. The only thing that surprised me is there was now WIFI in the waiting room.

I have delt with Acura of Portland for the last 19 years. I have bought new cars and had my cars serviced at this dealer the whole time. I have neve been dissatisfied once with any work or service ever done there. When buying the new 2010 vehicle I was pleased as much with the sales force as I have been with the service department. I have worked with Glenn on the Green team on both of my Acura and have been completly satisfied with his sugestions and recomndations. I appreciate dealing with and honest dealer such as Acura of Portland. Chances are if I bought another new car I would again return to Acura of Portland.

Great service! Joey is always ready to help! My car was in and out so fast for the oil and lube that I was totally amazed to hear that my car was ready to go within a short period of time. The car was taken in soon after I arrived at the dealership and before I knew it the car was ready to go.

The service was tinely in deciphering the problem and fixing it, It turned out that I needed new tires. As soon as I drove up, someone was there to greet me, they were friendly, and they remembered me from previous visits therefore addressing me as Mr. Carter, and I like that. And I also like the bottles of orange juice, and bottled water, and coffee they provide for their customers.

They were able to quickly diagnose and fix an issue that another dealer couldn't fix. They had the necessary parts available and put me back on the road faster than expected. These guys know who I am when I arrive and they always do a fantastic job. I didn't buy my latest vehicle at this location but I'll most likely get the next one here and I'll always return for servicing. Excellent!

The service at Acura of Portland is phenomenal. I've worked with Glen over the past few visits, and he is fabulous. He is professional, friendly, thorough and patient with my total lack of understanding of anything to do with automotive mechanics! The work they do at Acura is first-rate. We have never had any problems with any of the repairs they have done on my MDX. The car is always ready before the estimated time, the cost is never over the estimate (this last time, it was actually UNDER the estimate!), and they are usually able to fill my request for a loaner. These guys are first-rate in both customer service and work performed. I will definitely make my next car purchase an Acura, in large part so I can continue to work with mechanics I know and trust.

They are great, very timely and always pleasant. It's very easy to get an appointment and they give me a loaner care during my service appointment. They wash and vaccuum my car too. I have waited for service at the dealership also and they have beverages while you wait and free wifi. I would encourage you to check them out. You don't have to own an Acura to have service there.

Regardless of who I have worked with the service team is always there to answer my questions, review the details of the service and accommodate any special needs that I may have. I will continue to have my Acura serviced here and will likely purchase another car from Acura of Portland so that I can continue to work with a staff that I know will treat me well.

Our Aura has always run great, but took more time to start than ever before. Didn't want my wife to ever be stranded, so called Acura of Portland in hopes that I could bring it in that day. They shuttled me back to my work in Clackamas & were able to correct the problem same day. I have always had very good service at Acura of Portland.

I always take the Acura MDX back to Dick Hannah Acura of Portland for any service. The service team, led by Joey, are most professional, friendly and helpful. Joey informs me what the service requires, what it should cost and when the vehicle will be ready. If the technicians find something else that needs repairs, Joey calls me and we discuss it. He always provides me with the options of cost and time to repair. He will tell me if the repair is critical or if it can wait for the next service. He never pressures me, but gives me the facts and his opinion--which I always take.This is a great dealership and it is well worth my time to make the drive there from Vancouver.

We continue to use the service department and travel the distance for periodic maintenance. we have been more than pleased with the service that we have received over the years. to date, we have never been disappointed or felt pressure to have service performed that was not necessary. if we needed a loaner car while it was being serviced, it was always available. i would purchase another vehicle from Dick Hannah (stark street location).

I like the fact you can schedule an appointment online. When arriving at the dealership they are there to greet you and immediately inspect the car and go over all services that are needed. Glenn Hogan and his service team are very professional and a pleasure to work with. I also appreciate picking up a clean car (washed & vacuum)at the end of the day. Acura of Portland is a very professional dealership. It is easy to schedule appointments and the work is completed on time. Everyone is very friendly, the waiting area is comfortable with drinks, papers and TV, and computer hookups are also possible. They take the time to answer any questions and to show you how to make the best use of the car's features (i.e., setting up my cell phone). I appreciate getting my car vacuumed and washed. When I had a lengthy service done (windshield replaced), they offered to take me to get something to eat. I appreciate their courtesy and would highly recommend an Acura and Acura of Portland to all my friends.

Since moving from Eugene to Portland five years ago, we have had both vehicles serviced regularly by this company. Our reasons for being loyal to Hanna include reliable and professional teams, knowledgeable, competent, and efficient service members, friendly, helpful, and courteous staff, and a company that instills high standards among all its personnel. Several months ago while getting a routine oil change at another company, mistakes were made requiring an emergency visit to Hanna. Team members inspected the car, diagnosed the problem, and corrected it in a timely and efficient manner. We will continue to patronize Hanna Acura for all the reasons stated.

I had just bought a car from another dealership and needed the expertise of an Acura dealership, they took care of my problems in a timely fashion since the car has been out of the manufacturing line since 2005 I believe. Dick Hannah Acura dealership with their "Customer For Life" program ROCKS! They replaced my tires yesterday and helped me program my new phone to work with my bluetooth technology in my MDX. Dick Hannah has simply the best service I've ever received from any company. I had a flat tire and forgot to out my special locking lug nut wrench in my trunk. A service person drove from the dealership to bring me the master wrench so I could finish the job.

I've bought 4 TSXs from this dealership. The last one (2010) I bought when when I brought my 2008 in for service. I saw a the 2010 on the lot and looked at it on the web. I sent in a web request for the trade in value on my car. When I arrived, my car was ready to go and in perfect order. The paperwork for the trade in value and pricing for a new car was on the seat. I drove a new TSX and bought it that day. The price of the new car was very good. Service at Dick Hanna is not cheap, but they always do a good job and except for 1 time, they always have it ready to go when promised. Thanks Sandy and Glenn.

I have been a client of Dick Hannah's Acura of Portland for over 13 years. Always had great and honest service. Bought my last 2 cars from here because of quality of service and quality of the vehicles. I travel from Portland's westside to visit Acura Of Portland on the eastside just to avoid awful Ron Tonkin Acura dealership on Canyon Rd because I had lousy service from them and Tonkin servicing tried to sell me parts and services I did not need. They were very condescending towards me as a woman. Hannah's service is worth traveling across town!

MDX was in for oil change and tire rotation. They had the vehicle in and out in a little over an hour. Great service. They washed the vehicle and detailed the inside. Overall this was quality service and the price was what I would considered to be good.

Sam provides a great balance of knowledge, professionalism, friendliness and customer service. His approach makes me comfortable that the money I spend on preventive maintenance is well spent. Things are done when expected and are done as well or better than I expected. He is a strong advocate for the customer and a great employee. I didn't buy our Acura here since we moved from Nevada but would buy here if we get another one.

I went in due to a recall. I went prepared for a long wait, and was out in half the time I expected to spend there. On check in, I asked to have my windshield wipers replaced, which was not included in the things I previously had asked to have done.So the early exit was even more unespected.

Another great experience at Acura of Portland. I choose to drive 45 minutes for servicing at this dealership because they treat their customers right. They greet you when you pull in get you checked in quickly and get you on your way. They did a great job explaining the service that was needed and had my car ready when promised. The price is not as cheap as you would find at other service shops but neither is the service. i don't mind spending more for quality work. I will definitely return to this dealership next time my car needs servicing.

Acura of Portland has always provided excellent, courteous and timely service for the seven years they have been servicing our cars. They have always called after the service was completed to insure all work was done to our satisfaction. Only routine service has been preformed as we have had no major problems with Acura cars. The only thing I could wish for is that they bring back the tradition of providing chocolates at the time the bill was presented!

All our service appointments have been with Acura of Portland I would not think to go anywhere else from the basic to the complicated to just helping me set up a feature Glen has always treated us with the upmost respect making sure that all is taken care of before we leave the lot, he has always treated us as if we are his family and we feel comfortable knowing that he has our back in the service department.

We purchased a beautiful 05 RSX S type for my wife. During the process I saw this new RDX turbo. The next day we had to go to DEQ and get the certificate for the temporary license and drop it off at the dealership. While at the dealership I looked at the RDX again and saw that it was an 07. I inquired about the price, and made a half hearted offer. Tony Lockett had been our sales person for the RSX, and worked his butt off to get my wife into the RSX at the price she could afford. He went even one better plus for the RDX and made me an offer that was awsome. I thought about it overnight and purchased the RDX the next day. I've bought alot of cars in my time, but Acura of Portland is the first dealership that stands behind it's comittment to customer service and satisfaction. There was no "bait and switch" that you find elsewhere. They were totally up front about the negotiations and final price. If you're looking to purchase a new or used higher end vehicle from a dealership then check out Acura of Portland and ask for Tony.

My expierence at Acura of Portland was bar far the best experience I have had at any car dealership. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and I truely felt they were looking out for my best interest. I went in only wanting a brand new car but my sister made me take a look at a used first because cars always depriciate so fast. The used car I went to look at was ready and waiting for me when I arrived and just as good as a brand new car and much cheaper! It was dropped the morning I came in as an internet special by over $2,000 which saved me a lot of money. It has only been a couple of days since I purchased my new Acura TSX but so far it has been great and I love it. I would reccomend Acura of Portland and Tony to anyone intersted in an Acura!

We saw the RSXS in the paper. I'd read reviews about it and knew what an awsome car it was. I made an offer. Tony contacted me the next day with a great offer. We set an appointment for Thursday evening. It was miserabley cold, and Tony brought the car into the service area for us to look it over. We saw the car, drove it, loved it, bought it. It was a very easy and comfortable experience, and I would definitely reccomend Acura of Portland to anyone looking for quality cars and an easy buying experience.

I was in need of a car because I'm a single mom of two kids trying to go to school full time and work. A friend talked to Tony Lockett for me and he in turn called me. After applying on line he was able to get me approved for a car loan when I did not think it was possible because of the situation I was in. The car that I purchased is far greater than I thought it would be. It has everything I want and need in a car without costing me an arm and a leg. Mr. Lockett arranged for me to be picked up at my home in Troutdale to come to the dealership to do the paperwork for my car. Justin picked me up in the car I was purchasing and I was able to test drive it all the way back to the dealership. On top of ALL that, once the paperwork was complete and we were trying to get the Proof of Insurance from my insurance company, I got an emergency call into work and they allowed me to take the car so I could go work. It showed a serious trust from this dealership and that is why I would go back again in the future. Overall, I am 110% satisfied with my car and the way I was treated. Car sales men get bad wraps and I feel totally blessed that I was able to buy from a reputable company as opposed to car lot on 82nd. I will always recommend Acura of Portland and the entire Dick Hannah company! Thanks again everyone!!!!

I sent an internet inquiry for three vehicles and got a call back within 5 minutes from Tony, who was more than helpful the entire process. I only expected to look at and test drive a few cars the next day, but was so impressed with the one I eventually chose that I bit the bullet and purchased it. Tony didn't put the "hard sell" on me, which I appreciated. I was able to indulge my curiosities without feeling like I was putting anyone out.I didn't spend a lot of time negotiating the price because it was already extremely competitive. I had done some research before going to view the car. Tony took care of my family and myself, and the dealerships we visited that day were very pleasant. My sister and mom were greatly entertained while waiting for me to do my business. Acura of Portland did a great job with the sale of my new Acura MDX & and my trade in. Tony Lockett was a great, we did all of our sale & trade over the internet via email and it worked great and if I'm in the market again for another Acura I would use Acura of Portland and Tony again.ThanksAdam Duerfeldt

Great experience! I purchased the vehicle through the USAA car buying program and was able to do most of the work through email. When I arrived at the dealership I only had to spend an hour there and most of that time was spent getting the tour of the car. I am very happy with my purchase.

Not sure why we waited so long to buy an Acura, but all car-buying experiences should be this good. My wife and I traveled from near Seattle, WA to purchase a new 2009 Acura MDX. I contacted Duane Phillips via email and telephone a day or two prior to our trip to Portland to work through details of the purchase. Duane was helpful and responsive to all of our questions regardless of how minor they were. Duane assisted us through the USAA discount program for Active Duty military personnel. Upon our arrival to Acura of Portland we were greeted immediately and shown to Duane; within minutes we were shown our vehicle and offered water and coffee. As Duane began working the last of the details, we were assisted by a Tech specialist who walked us through all of the technical details of our new Acura. He was extremely helpful and very friendly. From there we were introduced to Cory, the finance manager. This was my 7th new-vehicle purchase and without a doubt Cory was the most friendly, down-to-earth finance manager I have worked with yet. He was truly the first that I have spoke with that did not have the "holier than thou" attitude. He remained that way throughout the transaction and absolutely treated us like people rather than just a bank account. Once the papers were signed we did a final walk-thru w/ Duane and we pulled out of Portland - just 90 minutes after arriving. True, it was quite a drive just to buy a vehicle, but I would drive twice that distance to get the customer service and relaxed environment we got a Acura of Portland. Ask for Duane by name and rest assured that you will, for once, have an enjoyable car-buying experience, the way it SHOULD be.

We traveled from Spokane Washington to Portland Oregon, a 6 hour drive to buy a vehicle from this dealer. We were not disappointed with how the sale experience went. The sales rep Tony Lockett did not make us feel pressured into buying something that was not a true fit for us. He was patient with us and he listened to what our concerns were instead of selling us on his own interest and benefit. Ken Williams was very professional as he also put our best interest before his owns profits. Ken took some time to educate us on what to look for in buying a vehicle that will meet your needs not just for now, but even when it is time to trade it in.I appreciate the friendliness that they both showed my wife and I which made the transaction more enjoyable instead of just strictly business.I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone not just looking to purchase a car. Tony took great care of me and had all the paper work completed when I got there. Had all the historical receipts and service information from the current owner, and had the car completely washed and waxed when I arrived. I would highly recommend Tony, and Acura of Portland, to anyone considering purchasing a new or used vehicle. I found the car on Craigslist and contacted the dealership, I was immediately contacted by Tony, and Justin, and negotiated the sale over the phone. It was the easiest purchase I ever had, of a vehicle, and I have had many over the years.

Do not take your vehicle here for service. They are WAY high on their prices. They quoted me a ridiculously high price for the service of our RDX. Being somewhat familiar with the average costs for routine auto maintenance I called another dealer locally and one in Seattle. I was shocked to find that I was being charged for extra, unnecessary work and almost double the cost of the other dealers. Be careful where you buy and what they promise you. Free tires for life cost less than being charged double every time you service your vehicle.

When I left the Acura of Portland, I felt like I had just left a slimy used car dealership. I made an appointment with a sales associate over the phone a couple days before. I get in as scheduled and she was not the person that helped me. I was told also that their "new managers" were aggressive with their prices and could meet the price I offered a couple weeks back (hence why I decided to go in). Not only did they do the "bait and switch", I was passed from manager to manager and I'm sure all knowing what my price was but none even lifted a finger to try to get me the price I was told I would get. And their so called "aggressive" pricing was nowhere near aggressive...no better than any other Acura in the area. I hope to never have to deal with them again.

I went to Acura of Portland to purchase my first car, Acura TSX and ended up being an excellent buying experience. My sales man Mike O'Brien was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable when it came to any questions I had concerning the buying experience and after I have purchased the car. The entire staff at the dealership has gone over and above to ensure I'm happy and satisfied with my car purchase. I have been to the service department twice and both experiences have been very good. The wait time isn't any longer than a person would expect any where else. The dealership provides great perks for purchasing a car there, including tires for life, car washes for life and cheap rental cars. They have very helpful with any questions or concerns that you might have. I would recommend this dealership and Mike O'Brien to anyone!
