Have used East Granby Motors for years. Owner Mike is super honest and technicians do really good work. The receptionist is very nice. A great place. I would not even consider going elsewhere.

Always bring my Subaru here as well as a couple friends. It's a no BS place and pricing is way WAY less than a dealer. Service is great. It's a 20-25 minute drive to get there but I'll make the trip if they are fair and good at what they do in which they are excellent.

Overall, I have had a great experience with East Granby Motors. The staff is knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and helpful. They do good work and stand behind it, which isn't always common in used car sales. In looking for a car, I did not feel in any way rushed or pressured. I was able to test drive, look at, or ask questions about as many cars as I wanted. Purchase was straightforward and easy. Unlike many other shops, there were no hidden fees. The listed price is actually there price. Above all else, the quality of work and warranty are unparalleled. I paid what I thought was a really competitive price for a very solid, good-running car. Before I picked it up, they did extensive servicing that easily would have costed two to three thousand dollars at another shop. And, they back all that service up for a year with a warranty I couldn't really believe when they told me about it. I had a minor issue the week I purchased the car, which I should add wasn't their fault. I called them and they scheduled me an appointment quickly. I showed up, gave them my keys, waited 20 minutes, and got my car back fixed. No charge, no questions asked. I have no qualms about recommending East Granby Motors to any of my friends and will definitely be back if I need another car in the coming years. Thanks to Mike, Joanna, and the rest of the staff for helping me get a dependable commuter car at an affordable price.

I recently purchased my 3rd Subaru here. The first was in 2005 and over the years several friends and family members have also purchased cars here. The prices are very reasonable and the warranty is unbeatable. Want to expect more from a used car? Buy a Subaru. Want to receive more from a car dealership? Buy it at East Granby Motors!!

We were in the market for a used Subaru for my daughter to take to college in the fall. East Granby Motors were the only one's willing to warranty a car in my price range. ($6-8,000). I left a small deposit on a 2005 4 door , and they did all the maintenance in 4 days, timing belt, new tires, brakes, etc. I was impressed and my daughter was too! It was much nicer then she expected. I drove the car for 2 weeks after picking it up and and found it actually rode smoother then my 2008 Honda Civic. One other thing I noticed was they didn't charge a prep fee which I've always paid elsewhere. ( $350 for my civic), even though the did a lot more before I picked it up, including registration. I will definitely buy another car there. They could use a bigger lot considering how busy they are, but they seem to make it work. Also thanks to my neighbor Paul who recommended Mike as a "straight shooter", he certainly is.
