We bought a brand new Jeep Renegade from East Tennessee Dodge on July 5, 2016 for $24,368. About two weeks into owning the vehicle, we had to put a quart of oil in it. I just thought that maybe the dealership did not fill the oil before we bought it.The next month, when checking the oil, it was down again. I put another quart of oil in the vehicle. This time I thought it must have to do with the break in period given that it is a brand new vehicle. Then, in the third month, we were out driving on some back roads when the vehicle flashed low oil pressure three quick times (within a minute) and then just simply froze up in the middle of the road. Luckily there wasnt traffic around us at the time. We ended up putting in one quart of oil there. Got it started again and drove to the nearest Walmart and put in another quart there just to make it back home. This was when we took it to the dealership the first time on October 5, 2016.They said that they could not see a leak and wanted to do a consumption test. They filled up the oil, added a dye and told us to come back in 1,000 miles. We didnt make that 1,000 miles before it was more than a quart low again. So, we took it back on October 18, 2016. This time, they said that there was a leak at the back on the oil pan. We asked where did all the oil go at least 4 quarts that we put in ourselves? They stated that it all went on a cross member under the car (which was strange as there has been no signs of an oil leak not under the car or on our garage floor). This time they changed the oil pan (so they claim) and put some type of form-a-gasket sealant on the oil pan, filled it back up and told us to drive another 500 miles to see what happens.Know that at this time, we were afraid to drive the vehicle (and we had reason). However, we tried to put the miles on it to see what would happen. We did not even make it the 500 miles before it was of a quart low and not wanting to drive it any more. Plus, we figured out where all that oil, some 4+ quarts, was going. It went into the catalytic converter. We found this out because there was so much oil in the converter that it began to blow out on our garage floor from the exhaust pipe. We took it back in on November 10, 2016 and explain the problem and the oil. The service manager stated (at that time) that both the engine and the catalytic converter needed to be changed out.11/23/2016 we picked the vehicle up today only to find out that they changed the engine but did not touch the catalytic converter. We called up the service manager and all he told us was that Chrysler would not reimburse them for it. I did get an email from the general manager at East Tennessee Dodge who states; Chrysler has refused to put a convertor in the car because they claim it is undamaged by the oil consumption. Which is strange given that it was their own service manager who stated that it needed to be changed. Now, we have a $25,000 defective, unsafe vehicle that cannot breath. I wonder how long that will last until it dies again? I guess customer safety is out. I guess this warranty is no good. And, I guess they just royally screwed us.I also tried to contact Chrysler. I used their online form. I received a response that said they would push this off on someone else and that group would call me in 48 hours. Well, I am still waiting.

I worked with the dealership for a couple of months and finally drov over 5 hours to get the car that was supposed to be ready and in great condition. Needless to say when I arrived the Sales Manager that I was working with and had promised to be there was gone and when they pulled the car around it was a joke. The car was missing vents in the dash, the nav and radio was not working and there was something wrong with all 4 rims, come to find out it was salt damage. The car was filthy, not ready to impress anyone. I spent about $500.00 for hotels, gas and food to be jerked around like this. Nobody should ever buy from this Dealership.

We worked with Misty Honeycutt and she got us a great deal on our Mopar Edition Charger. They were able to get us financed with no problem. We've purchased several autos from them and are never disappointed.

I purchased a truck from this dealership in 08. Later, I found I paid more at this dealership than any other Dodge dealership checked. I went in this week to purchase a car but the prices were still higher. Went to another dealership got the same vehicle for $2000.00 less. I would not recommend East TN Dodge.

On Friday, 8/12/2011, Safford F'burg helped us locate a 2011 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited at East Tennessee Dodge in Crossville, TN. Safford confirmed with East TN Dodge that the vehicle was still available and that they were willing to do a "dealer exchange." After the usual haggling with Safford, we agreed to purchase the Jeep and submitted a downpayment in the amount of $8000. Safford again contacted East TN Dodge and advised them the vehicle was sold. Safford advised they would overnight a check for payment of the Jeep and arrange to immediately pick it up for transport to Virginia. On Saturday, 8/13/2011, we went back to Safford to tidy up some paperwork. Upon arrival, the sales staff advised us that they had just received a call from East TN Dodge who advised the Jeep had been WRECKED that morning by one of their employees! Safford took the information at face value and the two dealerships agreed to nullify the dealer exchange. However, we were suspicious and immediately, but discreetly, contacted East TN Dodge. We expressed an interest in purchasing this particular Jeep. To our dismay, we spoke to two separate individuals who advised us the Jeep had been SOLD 30 minutes ago. We then asked if there was some confusion and inquired if the Jeep had been wrecked. East TN Dodge insisted the vehicle had NOT been wrecked! After wading through the muck, we determined East TN Dodge appeared to have provided completely false information to Safford and simply sold the vehicle out from under them (and us)! Thereafter, we met with Leo(General Sales Mgr) and Jim(VP), both of whom advised there was not a lot they could do, except 1) make a complaint against East TN Dodge through corporate and 2) help us find another Jeep. Needless to say, we were NOT happy! To our knowledge, East TN Dodge never offered or did anything to atone for what many might deem to be an apparent lack of integrity! In our opinion, they (not Safford) should have done SOMETHING to regain Saffords trust and/or to help get us a better deal. Apparently, that was wishful thinking on our part.In all honesty, we should have probably just abandoned Safford and gone to another dealer. Moreover, we should have probably abandoned Jeep/Chrysler products altogether! However, we really had our hearts set on a Jeep Rubicon, and Joan and Troy (sales) had been VERY polite and professional! Luckily, Safford located a 2012 Jeep of interest to us in Charleston, WVA. Safford agreed to obtain the Jeep and have it shipped to their dealership with no obligation for us to purchase. One week later, the Jeep arrived at the Safford dealership and we made the purchase. We feel relatively confident that Safford did what they could to give us a good deal. But again, we believe it should have been even sweeter compliments of East TN Dodge. In the end, we did get a Jeep Rubicon, although our wallet ended up lighter having gone from the 2011 with rebate to the 2012 model with no rebate. But, we can say this for sure...the actions of East TN Dodge left a bitter taste in our mouth and definitely took ALL of the excitement out of our new purchase!Would we recommend Safford F'burg? Yes.Would we recommend East TN Dodge? Absolutely not!

This was the easiest purchase I have ever made had everthing ready when I got there. The salesman was wonderful and polite got my kids balloons everthing was great could not have asked for anything better. If you are looking for a car see Ben Wilson at East Tennessee Dodge. He is by far the best salesman I Have EVER worked with.

By far the worst experience I've had with an dealership. Sold me an 06 Nissan Frontier. When I got home, engine light came on and the gas hand drop to E instantly. The fuel sensor unit was out in the vehicle. Which is going to cost $600 to fix, and they wouldn't help me with that, and their "3k miles or 3 month warranty" they give you would not cover it. A month down the road they still haven't got my tags for the truck. I asked them to send me another one on Monday "Tags expire Friday" friday rolled around still no tags. So I called them back asking what was going on and the lady that does their tags said she couldn't have them to me till monday or tuesday. So they got the manager Jason on the phone and he is having Chris bring them to me. So we'll see how tha goes. So I would not recommend this dealship to anyone.
