I was looking to trade in my aging SUV and Dan Neumann hit a home run. I knew I wanted a crew cab pick up truck but that was about it. Dan was patient and helped me with every different make out there - options, features, incentives, ... In the end I got a Silverado and took advantage of some great incentives that Dan was able to find for me. I would highly recommend him if you are in the market. I was in a car accident, and my car was totaled. I went to Ewald Chevrolet Buick 1. Because my daughter Kristen Ludtke works there, but also because Dan Neumann coached me through dealing with the insurance company to make sure I received the actual value of my car. As it turned out, I received $7,000 more from the other parties insurance then they had originally offered. After test driving the Buick Encore, I knew it was the perfect vehicle for me. Dan and I sat and went over the different trim levels to determine what I wanted and needed. A couple days later... I had my beautiful New Buick Encore. Friendly folks, are willing to help even after car leaves the lot. BEWARE....you pay taxes off the sticker price , not the deal you haggle. They also include the rebate in that haggle, so don't think you are still getting those perks!

I would recommend Ewald Chevrolet-Buick to anyone asking for a referral. I went in on a Saturday for an oil change on my Equinox. I had made an appointment to drive a 2015 Encore and Equinox. They welcome you with your name announced on a display. I had no intention of driving off the dealer lot with my new car but that's exactly what happened. All the dealers were wonderful, making me feel very comfortable buying my first car alone. I moved to the area two years ago, so I was kind of starting over not having a local dealer. I was impressed the first time I stopped in with a tire that kept losing air and I was on the way to the airport. The repair department got me in and out with plenty of time to make my flight. I didn't want a flat tire when I flew back two weeks later. Everyone seems to be very customer service orientated. Awesome job EWALD Family!!

Our last vehicle wasn't passing emissions so we were looking for a replacement/used car. We were greeted immediately by Jennifer. She asked what we were looking for/wanted and showed us a couple choices. We had a really bad experience years ago with buying a used car and I wasn't very comfortable with wanting to buy used. After one car and one test drive we pretty much knew we wanted the vehicle. We were told there was a similar vehicle that would be available in a couple days, so we made an appointment to go back. After a day we decided we wanted to buy it. We looked at the other one, but decided to get the first one we test drove. Went in talked over some numbers. At one point I didn't think we would be buying it. But the folks at Ewald REALLY worked with us and we came to an agreement. We are very happy with our "new" used suburban! Great place, great people. I hadn't shopped for a car in 10 years, and frankly was dreading the experience. I found myself needing a new vehicle asap in the middle of winter, and headed to Ewald because of their location, good ratings, and they had a used Kia I wanted to check out. Did I mention I loathe car shopping? I was greeted by Mike Balsewicz, and after chatting a few minutes, I was much more at ease about purchasing a car. Mike is personable, laid back, honest, answered all my questions, and was great to work with. Even after I purchased the car and had more questions, he took the time to answer every one and I didn't feel as if I were annoying him. (If I did, he hid it well). I will recommend Ewald and Mike to anyone looking for a car, and I will definitely see them for my next vehicle.

My husband and I stopped at Ewald on a whim last Saturday after a bad experience at another dealership earlier that morning. We were shopping for a used, preferrably certified vehicle. We stopped in and looked at a couple of the Chevy Equinox's on the lot. Steve came out right away and asked if anyone was helping us and asked if we wanted to check out any of the vehicles we were looking at. We were preferrably looking with something with mileage under 60,000. Steve brought us into his office to search what was available that met our needs. We ended up test driving one that was a little newer and a bit higher than what we were looking to spend but really liked the vehicle. Steve was very friendly and knowledgable about the vehicle and answered all our questions. Upon our return after the test drive, he asked if we wanted to talk numbers. I will be honest, I was a little nervous as I have never purchased a vehicle directly from a dealership before and have heard some horror stories but I didn't get that vibe from Steve and thought, it won't hurt to discuss what he could offer me. We went over numbers and it was right around the monthly payment I was hoping to spend on a used vehicle. I decided to go for it and we purchased the FIRST vehicle we test drove on our car shopping journey! Every aspect of the purchase, financing was a pleasant experience. Charlie was great--he explained the financing and went over other options with us and gave his honest opinon on the different choices. I felt very comfortable with the entire process and felt good about our purchase. We drove away a few hours later and I'm very happy and in love with my 2013 Equinox!!! I would recommend this dealership for anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle. Thanks to both Steve and Charlie and the rest of the staff for our great experience at Ewald!

I was very impressed with the sales force at Ewald Buick. I planned on purchasing a used Explorer that they had for sale, but Scott Bolle encouraged me to test drive the Buick Enclave as it had more features that I was looking for. I have never been a Buick fan and didn't have any interest in looking at one, but he convinced me to at least drive one. I will say that it is a beautiful car and rides like a dream, so I ended up purchasing it instead of the Explorer. Thanks Scott!

We had decided to look at the Equinox and the Escape for a new vehicle. After having driven the Escape we went to Ewald to try out the Equinox. Walking into the dealership was a very friendly experience. We were greeted at the door, asked our intent, and shown to a new car dealer available to help us through our experience. The dealership had a very festive atmosphere and we felt like we had come home. We test drove the Equinox and found several reasons to like it over the Escape and decided to try to come to an agreement on price. We did and are now driving our new Equinox with a confidence that we will be taken good care of in the future without having to go extra miles for service in the future.

He was great, but when I told him the areat I was looking for reference cost and trade in, it was his sales manager that told him roughly, no way. Thank you, bye, and not even a sit down and try to work it out.Again not the sales man, but the dealer. This is the 4th time in 17 years I tried Ewalds and they would not budge. In the last 17 years I have owned 3 tahoes and now an Avalanche. Knowing the area I felt that I could not afford to shop there. this is not only my opinion, but others in my income bracket.I went to a Milwakee dealer, they worked with me, gave me much more for my trade in, and I got a vehicle at the same year I was looking at Ewalds, but 20,000 miles less.I am moving all my maintenance business (which ewald has been doing for the last 7 years) from Ewalds to another dealer.I did not even feel welcome from the guys who make the final decison there.Sorry, But my wife and I will take our GM products and purchasing elsewhere.MFM

Exceptional Service, Prompt, Knowlegable, and Quick. I have owned 5 Corvettes since 1975. It is always an uneasy feeling taking your vette to a dealer hoping they will respect it the way I have. But after going to Ewalds in Oconomowoc and seeing the expertise they have and how they treat the vehicle I have found a New Home for my service. I had a Security/Theft Computer problem with my 2000 C5 which was causing my steering wheel to not unlock when I started the car. They diagnosed the problem and found out that the Recall back in 2004 was not done. GM said that these had to be completed by 2006 or they would not cover it anymore. Well Bret Ewald got together with his Service Directer Chuck Akers and they looked into it and took care of this for me.. Jon Harder, the Service Advisor, rushed my car in, ordered the New Parts, had them shipped overnight so I could get my vette back asap! I would highly recommend Ewalds Chevrolet to anyone who needs the best in customer service and friendlyness. Kudos to you guys, you earned it!

I was totally impressed with Ken Hirn and his knowledge, patience, time, effort, and follow-up on my new truck purchase. Jessica was also fun to work with.There were a few issues after Ken handed the next steps. That is why there were not high ratings. I signed the new purchase papers on my truck July 2nd. I did NOT get my truck back until 7-20-12. There was a delay in ordering/getting my accessories. Also, I ordered a bug/hood deflector, and the front of the hood that is protected was NOT washed before installation of the protector. The accessories I ordered was also wrong. My parts/accessories list was copied and handed off. The parts/accessories list that I got confirmation on was NOT the same as I ordered! The installation costs on two items was higher, the spray-on bedliner order was wrong (they were going to coat underneath the truck, and I believe they also were going to order a set of floor mats that were expensive and there were already mats in the truck.If the process would have all been handled by Ken Hirn, I am sure the entire process would have been perfect. It is NOT Ken's fault, he did his job great!!

I purchased a 2007 Chevy Impala two weeks ago. I love my car. Everyone from Andy, Jessica, Bret, Nick, and Chuck did every thing to make my buying my car a great experience to resolving little things that had to be reajusted on the car perfect. We chose to work with this dealership because of past experiences with our truck, which we bought new in 03. They stood behind their product even though it was just past warranty. I have worked with both Jon and Mike in service, and have been happy they can find and fix issues that arise. Ken and the staff worked hard and late to find the car we wanted, which was difficult because we couldn't decide on color and options. After we finally decided, the car was delivered the next day. Ken was most entertaining and made our visits fun and enjoyable.

I cant pinpoint my experience on one particular person. I went this to this dealer on Thursday the 19th to trade in my truck for a better fuel efficient car and yesterday the 27th of l still haven't got a decision. The person who was my sales Rep called only 3 times in the week I was waiting. I was constantly calling to see what was going on with my app and I never I mean never got a phone call returned and by that I mean a certain person would say you will hear from me in the morning. morning would pass by and I would have to call. This is the worst customer service ive ever received from anyone. Ive spoke to both managers on seperate days and neither had any idea what was going on and one got angry with me because he didn't believe what his sales people were doing. After speaking with both managers guess what happens the very next day you got more missed phone call. I done recoomend this dealer to anyone and I will not recommend it to my friends and family. My credit isn't perfect but I still would like to be treated with respect and get a phone call at least once a day is that asking to much.

The Team I met at Ewalds worked very hard to find a vehicle that I liked and that I could afford. Nick C. even went out of his way to bring another vehicle in from a different Ewald dealership. I finished the whole sales process with Charlie he was wonderful and did miracles for me in financing. When I left the lot with my new used car I noticed a small crack forming in the windshield, I turned around and Nick P. arranged to have it fixed the next day at no expense to me.

I spent over 2 months looking for the right vehicle and I had been to over 12 dealers even traveling to Chicage to test drive vehicles. I made contact with Ewald regarding a Buick Enclave that the dealership had advertised. I was greeted over the phone by Mike in finance and instead of being passed off to a voicemail he took charge and sought out the information that I was lookig for. Not only did he provide me with information,but he went as far as calling me back because they had just brought in another Enclave that was even a better buy. He warm transfered my information to Peter and the follow through was great. I drove my vehicle that night and came back the next day to pick up my vehicle. Peter had my car waiting with a large red bow on top and not once did I feel pressured into buying a vehicle from him. He stayed late to answer all of my questions and displayed genuine concern that I was sure about my choice. The gentelman that handeled my financing paper work (Charlie) was great. We laughed while handeling business and he made me feel that he had my interest at hand. I have already recommended Ewald of Oconomowoc to another gentelman. I will by my next vehicle from Ewald of Oconomowoc.

My son plays soccer in oconomowoc and recently the Ewald family made a large doantion to support the Oconomowoc Soccer Association. Nothing new to me, I just took delivery of a new Chevy Cruze- it is my family's 6th vehicle from Ewald in the last 12 years. Ken Hirn is a long time employee New Car Manager, he makes it easy, followed through on everything and makes the experience fun. Some dealers just do OK, Ewald gets it- fair prices, great service and friendly people- Just go there

The sales staff were very polite, not pushy. I saw the vehicle on cars.com and the advertisment was very accurate description. They had plenty of pics to view.I liked what I saw and was hoping that when I saw it this would be the one. Well it WAS the one. Super clean and drove fine. Bought a used car from here and it has got a lot of problems. Two days after I got it the window comes off the track. The following week there is a weird sound on the back of the car, take it to mechanic and the struts are curling up. I was never informed about struts being messed up. The door panel for the drivers side is also coming off and it's been a month. The car was not cleaned at all in the truck or back seat. Crumbs and dirt everywhere.
