11/12/2020: Update- Service Department. I wanted to write a quick update regarding the Service Department since the Sales staff did so well when we purchased our cars. I have gone maybe 3 times for oil changes and all three have been great. Just today I called up to see if we could quickly get my car in for an oil change and new tires as our daughter was going to be leaving town tomorrow. With no pressure at all, Dan in the Service Department was able to squeeze us in and could not have been more professional or gracious. I must have thanked him a hundred times, and every time he said it was no problem, he was happy to help. Every time I have gone, all of the staff has been professional and courteous; but I was really impressed with Dan and his commitment to helping us out in a pinch. All I did was ask if it was possible, and he made it happen...he found a solution. Again, I have nothing but great things to say, and I have been very impressed by the people...it is not what I expected at all going in, and not what I have experienced at other dealers. Thank you Feldman, and thank you Dan. I really appreciate it. (Summer/Fall 2019) My wife and I had a great experience with Feldman. Neither of us are people who like to negotiate, we are pretty laid back. Our sales professional was Kent Boothe, and I cannot recommend him enough. We were in the market for 2 used cars, and Kent is the only sales professional who did not immediately tell me to lower my expectations, or the price point I was looking at. Literally 4 other dealers did not even entertain what I was looking to do. Kent was very low pressure and just an overall good guy, very honest and very, very professional. He showed us the car we were looking at, helped us on the trade-in, and ultimately got us into a 2017 with low mileage when other dealers would not even entertain the notion. The Finance guy was also great, little direct with the sales pitch; but I give him credit for getting the overall loan in the range we needed it to be; and he was also very professional and easy to work with. Overall, both gentleman were great. I am sure the process could have been quicker; but at the end of the day, we were treated very professionally and Kent was great. I have no experience with the oil changes yet; but just from the purchase perspective, it was a great overall experience. Yep, going to say it one more time...highly recommend Kent Boothe if you are looking for a very professional and honest sales professional who is not going to push you. Great job, Feldman.

I absolutely hands down had the best experience buying my new traverse!! From the salesman Gilbert going above and beyond to find exactly what i want and keeping me on track with price, to the finance manager Shawn who personally came over to explain my interest rate my credit and all my options. i have never had such a personable experience buying a car! I had a very good experience so far leasing a car with this dealership. Jeremy was a total pro who got me what I was looking for in a vehicle and for a very reasonable price, no pushy sales tactics or whatnot at all. I would certainly recommend this dealership and Jeremy in particular for others, especially first-time buyers. I definitely see myself coming back for leases or purchases in the future.

When I drove in the lot I started getting great service. I was briefly with one sales person but ended up with Ian and he did great! Understood what I was looking for and didn’t try pushing me towards something else. I really hate aggressive sales folks so it was a great experience. They had a great selection and by the end of my visit I left with my new truck! Came back to the service department this weekend and the guys out their are great folks and worked quickly to swap my tires out. Would recommend Feldmans Team to anyone and I will be back!

10/10 would recommend! I refuse to have my 2019 Silverado serviced by anyone else other than Feldman! I worked with Aaron in service... WHICH WAS A GREAT DECISION!!!! He’s Very knowledgeable, patient and very helpful. After the service was performed they washed my truck (unlike other gm service departments that make you run your own vehicle through their car wash) 😂 Feldman made an amazing impression during my first visit which earned my family and my business for life(:

Great customer service!!! We are excited to have worked with Kent Boothe, he is an extra miler for sure. He made sure that we had the extra coverage on our truck when we bought it, and thank God we did. We went in to see the service dept, and they told us it was not covered. However working with Kent, he checked our records and come to find out "YES" it was covered and we did not have to pay a dime out of our pockets at all.... After all it was only a issue with a Tire however it was a tire that cost over 200.00! Thank you to Kent for making sure we had everything we needed when we bought the vehicle and we were covered for this repair !!!!!! Great quality Service from their Service dept as well. The tire was in stock and was put on right away and replaced all at no cost to us!

When entering Feldman's Chevrolet you get a warm welcome and assistance right away. Everyone that we had contact with during our buying process was friendly and kind. We worked with Kent Boothe. Kent carries himself in a professional manner yet treats you like family. Whether it was in person or over the phone Kent displayed a genuine interest in our needs and did what he could to make buying a new car go as smooth as possible. He is very thorough and explained every thing in great detail and made it easy for us to understand the payment options and sales/rebates available to us which was greatly appreciated. Even months after purchasing my truck I have stopped in or called my salesman Kent Boothe about several questions and he was always able to satisfy my needs. Most recently I blew out the sidewall on my tire. I had purchased the wheel and tire warranty. (Kent recommend) Kent told me not to worry and come on in a will get process started for me. Feldman's got me into a 2017 Equinox, and it's seriously perfect for me! I was scared and nervous to lease a vehicle, and after only having it a week I received some paint damage. Mike in the body shop was nothing more than on top of his game when it came to writing an estimate, and thankfully with the help of my sales agent Evan, and sales manager Bill I was reassured that my smart lease platinum coverage (extended warranty) would cover the damage. They whole team has been nothing more but helpful in answering my questions and returning my phone calls in a timely manner. Your happiness is definitely a priority here!

I do not purchase vehicles regularly however Feldman were not the only lot I looked at. Customer Service was good and although he didn't always have every answer the salesman did his best to answer any questions I had or find out if he was not sure. Good price on vehicle and was even delivered 1.5 hrs away. The used car building was obviously not that great compared to the new car offices and could stand to receive improvements but what I personally appreciated was the ability of the salesman to communicate. I had other dealerships seem stand-offish. I am guessing based on my appearance which in my opinion doesn't correlate with my income, intelligence or maturity level. Overall satisfied.

This was actually last August: my 2007 Malibu got totaled when a lawn service (read: big, and pulling a trailer) truck swerved into me and I was suddenly faced with having to go car shopping (just when I thought I was done with car payments for a while). On my second visit to Kouts/Feldman, a 2011 Malibu was just coming in; and Chuck Perry helped me snag it, then went the extra mile finding and programming a key fob and helping me get started with the electronics. When I've been back in the dealership for service, we always have a chat. And I LOVE my new to me Malibu with the sunroof! It was a blow to my wallet (and my back) to have been hit hard enough to total the old car, but everything turned out okay. Thanks Chuck and crew!

Chuck was the first dealer I experienced who had my interests foremost. He took the time and due diligence to find the car I wanted and not just one he wanted to sell me. I had been to a few other dealers in town and was just not happy with the service.I was told 3 times the truck I want could not be fit into my price. They all wanted me to just settle for 2015 model that really didn't want.I had stopped in to this dealership expecting the same lip service an run around.Chuck Perry came out to great me an I told him exactly what I thought about my experience up to this point and what I wanted.He did not hesitate to show me the truck 2016 Z71 I wanted an without pressure of lets go see what we have to work with first.At deal time I did not feel pressure or frustration as I have many times at many other dealerships. I really laid out what I wanted and what I could pay.With very little back & forth between Chuck and the sales manager we got the deal done painlessly. I absolutely hate buying cars, mainly because of pushy car salesmen. I had a great experience finding our dream car at a very reasonable price. Jaime didn't waste our time trying to price haggle us. She was very polite and respectful. There were a couple follow up items we addressed after the purchase and Jamie dealt with all of them very timely, and kept us up to date with the status of the follow up items. Overall, I was very happy and would recommend working with Jaime.

We were looking for a very specific vehicle and found what we wanted online. We called the dealership and initially spoke with Kyle who was extremely helpful. He then referred us to Jamie Lepard to assist us with the sale of the vehicle. After speaking with Jamie and negotiating a deal over the phone, we made the one hour trip to test drive and purchase the vehicle. Found a 9-year-old, low-mileage Accord at Kouts. Had the car checked out at a factory dealership and discovered expensive routine maintenance that was recommended for the existing mileage. Kouts dropped the price to offset the bill for most of the work. They also adjusted the price to offset a repair project that wasn't obvious but was discovered before the sale. Salesman Chuck Perry was very responsive, though one or two other people we dealt with before Chuck weren't that adept. We still get e-mails from him. It's close to a year since the purchase and the Honda runs great, though it gets abysmal gas mileage, something the used-car dealer would have no way of knowing on the lot. We drove 30-35 miles one way to Kouts maybe 3 times, and the transaction was well worth the drive.

We have been more than pleased with our last two vehicles, both of which are from Bud Kouts and sold to us by Chuck Perry. He was excellent to work with from start to finish, both in 2011 when we bought a used HHR, and this year when we bought a brand new 2015 Traverse, which we needed for towing. The staff at Bud Kouts Feldman couldn't have been nicer. Gary Robinson, service advisor was very professional. I utilized the courtesy ride to my job, the driver, Nick was also most pleasant. The whole process couldn't have been more smoothe. We are given many options for Chevy dealerships in the Lansing area, and we are all fortunate to have Bud Kouts available to us. I woke up to a nail in my tire and it was the day after thanksgiving. I was on the road and stopped and called service department and explained my situation and they had me drive right over. In late August, 2015 my wife and I found ourselves in need of a new vehicle. After visiting other local dealerships (Shaheen and Young's), we wound up at Bud Kouts. Our Salesman, Shaun Glasscock, took a number of hours out of his day to give us a more in-depth run down of our believed vehicle of choice (2015 Chevy Equinox). Unfortunately, few remained late in the model year with AWD. Shaun was able to convince us to get the 2016, which mechanically was identical but had a few exterior resigns, and compensated for the loss in rebates with a greater value on my trade in. Coming from a GM family, all of my expectations were met. Shaun went out of his way to respond to texts over the weekend following our visit to the dealership and we purchased a 2016 Equinox the following Monday. At its first oil change today, service was completed in less than an hour and Shaun was available to quickly fix a hiccup with the wheel locks. Ultimately, the experience we had at Bud Kouts with Shaun made us a lifetime customer. The lengths Shuan went to ensure I got a good deal on a new vehicle, even with already having a GM Family Discount, was outstanding. Bud Kouts and Shaun Glasscock will continue to get our business going forward. I'd highly recommend visiting them if you're in the market for a new vehicle.

We took our Chevy HHR in for 150000 mile check up. We mentioned that we were trying to sell the car and wanted to be able to tell a buyer that all service and maintenance was up to date. The service technician suggested that, while he could identify numerous services if we were going to keep the car and use it all winter, since we were going to sell the car they would do a multi-point inspection and mention any service that might be needed and could decide whether to do it now or use it as a bargaining device for potential buyers. In the end we were not charged for the multi-point inspection and a couple of items were mentioned that would cost several hundred dollars to service that we will wait on until we have a potential buyer. I appreciated the attention and suggestions that were taken into consideration of our specific situation.

My son took the impala to Graff Chevrolet. They gave an estimate which was very open ended; advising it would be around $3000.00 to fix the oil problem and advised the car was OK to drive just to check on the oil about once a week and charged him $45.00. We brought the impala in to be checked out by Feldman Chevrolet to be re checked. I was expecting to hear the worst. Steve from service called to get clearance to fix the transmission lines before they could go any further and that the car wasn't safe to drive unless we fixed the lines and it would run around $235. We gave the OK. Steve called back, said they couldn't find an oil leak. They had even put a dye in with the oil to see if they couldn't find an oil leak (like the Graff advised). Steve advised us it was only going to be about $235 for the transmission lines and to drive it for about 400 to 500 miles, then to bring it back in and they would check to see if there was any oil leak again. We have bought the last 5 vehicles from Bud Kouts now Feldman's, service has always been very truthful and reliable. Thanks again for checking things out for us I sure can sleep better.

Allow me to preface my review by saying I wish I had a better report, because I don't like giving bad reviews. My experience here this morning was beyond AWFUL. I decided to make the trek from my apartment in Wayland all the way over to Lansing because Feldman Chevrolet of Lansing/Bud Kout's had deals listed on their website that couldn't be beat. I figured the drive would be worth it! I scheduled an appointment online for a 10:00 am test drive and printed out the coupon I got for scheduling the appointment (that verified that my appointment was at 10:00 a.m.). I arrived at the dealership this morning right on time to find Logan standing outside. It was like he was standing there waiting for me - awesome!! He escorts me inside, which is a very nice space. We stop at the reception area, where there is a TV with that day's appointments listed. My name is nowhere to be found at 10:00, but rather down in the afternoon at 2:05?! Whatever, technology happens, as long as I can be helped at that time. I explain to Logan that I would like to look at 3 vehicles: 2010 Rav4, 2011 Equinox, and 2011 Tucson, all of which have been on their website for the past few days, and still had been listed this morning. Logan informs me that they do not have 2/3 of the cars I traveled from the Grand Rapids area to look at. All they have available is the Tucson, which I gladly test drove. Logan took my license to make copies of it before the test drive - no big deal, pretty typical precautions, ya know? But then as I'm preparing to head out for a test drive, HE GETS IN THE CAR WITH US AS A RIDE-ALONG?! I have not had many car shopping experiences in my young life, thankfully, but I am pretty sure this isn't typical as I've never had the dealer ride with me during the test drive. (I asked my father-in-law, and he said he's never had the dealer ride along with him either.) I felt pressured and like I couldn't openly communicate with my fiance on whether or not I liked the car. I accidentally put it into manual mode without knowing it, and Logan fails to tell me this until halfway through the test drive. Until that point I thought the car was awful. Once we corrected the situation, I did like the car a little more, but wasn't impressed with it overall. Wanting to continue my search, Logan proceeds to locate a recently traded in 2010 Equinox LTZ (in layman's terms, a REALLY FREAKIN' FANCY EQUINOX). It hadn't been cleaned, or even inspected, but Logan encourages us to take it for a spin ("us" meaning me, my fiance, OH, AND LOGAN!). Of course I fell in loooove with this car. Sunroof, heated seats, backup camera, etc?! Yes, please! Here's the thing though, y'all. Logan knew my budget before I step foot in the vehicle. He could tell me nothing about the Equinox's price right away. Once we got back from the test drive, we find out that this SUV is ~$3,000 over my budget. Logan doesn't care about my overall budget, though. He is only concerned about what I want my monthly payment to be. I tell him that I am not concerned with monthly payment, only the overall price. Typical used car salesman tactic right there. I also made him aware right away that I had financing all set up through a credit union here in the Grand Rapids area at 3.5% for 60 months, which is pretty dang good. Logan tells me that he thinks they can beat that. UM, NO, YA PROBABLY CAN'T. I'm now very frustrated, and I tell him that I frankly just want to leave because they didn't have 2/3 of the cars I wanted to look at. He asked me when I saw them on the website, and I told him "this morning." He then explains that the cars probably sold yesterday and that the website takes 24 hours to update. I don't believe that for a second, but an excuse is an excuse. Logan goes on and on and on about financing and rate (side note: my fiance is essentially a math major, so don't treat us like we're stupid and don't know basic math, mmmk?). I finally tell him my ideal monthly payment. He essentially laughs at us and insinuates that I'm not going to get what I want for that payment. This is when I say that we're leaving. What does Logan do? He gets up from his seat AND LEAVES! He abandoned us in his own office. He threw a hissy fit like a toddler and stomped off. I said "thanks for you time," and promptly left. I will NEVER recommend Feldman Chevrolet of Lansing/Bud Kout's to ANYONE. Your bait-and-switch tactics are horrendous. Visiting you this morning was a waste of time, gas, and energy. I am happy to report I purchased a beautiful 2011 Equinox from a reputable dealer here on the west side of the state (at pretty close to my budget, and I even spent a little more because I liked my salesman!!!). When you treat your customers with respect, it will get you a long way. By the way, Logan - don't bathe in Axe so much. I couldn't smell the "new car smell" because you were in it!!

They are very understanding about situations that can come up with getting your vehicle to and from an appointment, and even the hassles of not having your vehicle throughout the day.Jim the courtesy van driver is a gem. I was driving a piece of junk when I went in and thought I would have to wait until October to get a new car. The salesman, Pat Iding asked me how serious I was about leasing a new vehicle. I answered back, "Pat, if I could drive a brand new car out of this lot today, I would but I cannot afford to until October". Pat went away for awhile and when he came back he offered me a deal where I could pick up the new car the next day and not have a payment until November. I reached across his desk and shook his hand and said "deal". I LOVE my new Malibu, I feel so much safer in it than my old car and I can't say enough about Pat Iding, he was great!

Just had oil changed and bulb changed. Was unhappy with the fact that the engineers who Designed the car made it so no ordinary person can change their burned out light bulb! Believe it or not I was told that the bumper has to be tilted to change the light bulb in a suburban! It cost approximately $130.00 to change one light bulb. Michael Verplanck was my service representative. It was the BEST service I have received at Bud Kouts. He did what was necessary plus he worked around my time schedule. Told me the car would Be ready and it was. And he arranged for a service car to take me home and pick me up. Previously I have felt that females who bring their car into this dealership are not treated equal. There was also issues where I had to check with owner of dealership to get the service I felt I was entitled to.

Service was great. The staff were very courteous, and helpful. I appreciate it that I could wait in a clean lounge area, with a clean bathroom near by as well. I was also impressed that the rep. told me the service would take about an hour, and he actually kept his word. When he came and told me that the service was completed, I couldn't believe it, because it was only one hour that had passed.The work done on the car was most professional as well.

Patrick was great to work with and kept me informed. Unfortunately when I came to pick up my car, I went to the cashier who told me I had to go to the service department. I stood there for 10 minutes, with 2 guys working there and no one helping me. I finally found a salesman, thank goodness he got one of them to help me. Then the guy in the service department gets my paperwork and takes me back to the cashier, who isn't there now, and I proceeded to wait there for 5 minutes until she got back to help me and another frustrated customer, who just went through the same mess as me. This procedure definitely needs changing. Listen up Bud Kouts, or whatever your new name is, because this will prevent me from buying my next vehicle from you.

The sales person was very knowledgeable about the product, financing options, warranties, and recommended servicing items.He gave us a very nice test drive and explained some of the cars features as we went along. He also showed us the service area of the dealership and explained their hours, etc.When we took possession of the car, it was very clean. At that time, the sales person explained where all of the controls were and how to operate them. Purchase of 2015 Laser Blue Extended cab Colorado. The vehicle had everything I was looking for. Sales person Olivia Radtke was excellent very knowledgeable. I would recommend her to work with to any one I know interested in a new Chevrolet. However I would warn them about looking for fine print on advertisements. I was surprised when I was note Eligible for the advertised internet price (informed it was a GMC employee price). This almost caused me to go somewhere else. I am extremely pleased with my 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. I like the way it handles on the road. It is very quiet and the front seats have good back support and are very comfortable. I like the size and positioning of the steering wheel. I am looking forward to the good gas mileage. My sales person was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the car and the financing. I had never leased a car before so he answered all my questions and clearly explained the details of a lease. He gave me a clear basis that allowed me to compare and contrast a lease vs an outright sale. My sales person and the financial person were both very efficient. They drew up all the paper work and I drove away in a new car after a few hours at the dealership. I am a life-long fan of General Motors and I am very satisfied with my new Chevrolet.

The story started out a little shaky as I couldn't get an answer on a service bulletin notification that I misplaced. But when I took it in they were able to find the issue with the steering I was having, reprogrammed it and after a long road trip last weekend the steering is working perfectly. The lube was as always great as well.

I purchased my vehicle from Bud Kouts about a year ago and had an extremely positive experience doing so. Their financing folks helped me get a great rate on the part of my car I financed and gave me a fair trade in value for my old vehicle. The car I purchased was also a very fair price. It was my first time purchasing a vehicle and found dealing with them to be a great experience. This spring I had an issue with my car where the driver's door handle needed to be replaced, something electronic or with a sensor had failed and my car believed the door was open when it was securely shut. Overall my issue was fixed which was great but I do have a couple things which caused me to give 4 instead of 5 stars. Firstly, I brought my car to the dealership for the repair early in the morning (around 9am) but it took them 2 business days to fix my issue which was by no means a major repair. I understand that I could have just brought my car in on a very busy day but I did ask for a time estimate when I dropped off my car and if they knew it wasn't fixable until the next day then I would have rather known that and come back the next day (because I know it does not take 2 business days to replace a door handle). My second issue was with trying to arrange the complementary shuttle they provide. It is a great service and I am very happy that they provide it but when calling to be picked up from my place of work to get my car when it was finished I had to speak with 5 different people on the phone before I was correctly connected with the shuttle driver. It should not take that many people to get me connected or provide me with the correct phone number. Overall I have been very happy with my service and have recommended Bud Kouts to others.

I had brought my Cruze in many times about a "motor-type-radiator" fumes smell when the car was running and I turned on the heat. It seemed to intensify the longer I drove. When exiting the car after parking the exterior smell from the engine area was quite awful. Finally a person named Rick called and said they had it figured out, I would need to wait a few days until parts came in and leave the car 3-5 days so they could really fix it. After 3 days I got my car back and all seems so much better now. I am very pleased! A person named John in the service area kept me apprised on a daily basis as to the cars fixing. That was very thotful.

The only thing I thought was odd was the sticker that goes in your windwow that tells you when you should come back....has the wrong mileage on it. It has the same mileage on it as when I brought the car in...not what it should be with 3000 more miles added on to it. But luckly I am going on vacation in April, so I will be back in anyway to have the car checked out.

I was one timeline when I needed an oil change before leaving town, with only 4% oil life left, I didn't want to wait. BK's worked me in at the last minute. Came into Budkouts for an oil change, because another oil change place claimed my vehicle had several issues. After the oil change they did a free inspection on my car and found no further problems. I did need to have two tires replaced and was informed of that. The staff was awesome! The service area was clean and the lounge was staffed with pleasant and friendly people. Most everyone that I have dealt with at Budkouts has been HONEST and totally competant in their jobs. Oh, I HATED the music in the building, and asked the receptionist to change it or lower the volume. But she was unable to do that. I ended up getting a migraine for the rest of the day. Other than that my experience was great.

Bud Kouts has provided service for my cars before the young service man on this day was born--1980 v 1982. They have serviced my Oldsmobile Aurora , Pontiac Bonneville, and current Saturn Aura excellently and without question. Dealing with them in buying new vehicles has been a pleasure (S 10 pickup and two Chev. Equinox 2005 and 2010)--I don't hesitate to deal with them on a "handshake." By odometer, I have driven more than 1.5 million miles and my wife of the past 63 years has driven at least half a million miles (in early years we drove Hudson and Ford products but a 1975 Olds 88 brought us to GM). Due to age and infirmities, our next new car will probably be our last so we want all the safety features now available. But don't come knocking--I have yet to sell her on a 2015 Impala LTZ1. The service man that pulled my service ticket was very pleasant and welcoming, then showed me to the waiting area. Gary Robinson saw me and asked if I was being taken care of, which I answered yes and thanks. Gary is always smiling and willing to assist with any of our needs. The staff inside were pleasant while I was waiting for the service to take place. Cher asked if I'd like any coffee or donuts, which another salesman had asked me earlier. All of the staff smiled and were pleasant.The service area came and told me my vehicle was ready. Gary saw me as I was getting to my vehicle and asked if everything went well. I noticed a grease spot on the cloth inside the window, told him about it which he got cleaner and took care of immediately apologizing for the spot. I have always had a 10+ experience at Bud Kouts for 30 years. If a problem is noticed, I bring it to someone's attention, then it is taken care of immediately and that is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Nothing and no one is perfect, it's how situations are handled that makes the difference! Thank you to all of your team!

There was a screw up but Bud Kouts fixed the problem without batting an eye. I forgot to tell the oil change dept. that I use full synthetic oil. They put regular oil in the engine. When I pointed out the oversight, the dealership immediately drained the oil and replaced it with full synthetic. This was much appreciated by me. In my own defense, I assumed that the massive amount of computer history that follows my cars would identify my oil preference since I get all my oil changes done at Bud Kouts.

I'm trying to buy a used car, but since my credit is bad Bud Kouts won't help me at this time. I know that I've made some poor "credit" decisions in the past. But a lot of it had to do with the poor economy. I wish that decisions weren't just based on a number. Oh well Bud Kouts loss.

I did a lot of research on different certified cars and decided on either a Sonic or Cruise. I stopped at the dealer one day and told him what I was looking for and price, he showed me what they had in stock and we took two test drives. My salesperson was very good about showing me where everything was before we headed out on the road. I spent about 10 minutes with the finance guy and came back that night and brought home my new vehicle. A few weeks later my husband was in an accident and totaled his car. I didn't even look anywhere else, but went right back to Bud Kouts, this time coming home with a Captiva, which I love.

Buying our new Chevy started out a little problematic because we needed an auto that would meet California standards, (our new home to be) but we currently lived in Michigan. Bud Kouts worked out the issues and our new truck was ordered. Ten weeks later we took delivery. I really want to thank Tom, the sales person; he worked as our champion and kept us informed as the vehicle was built. The only real problem I foresee is that I will not have a Bud Kouts out in CA.

Im in my fifth year with my experience with Bud Kouts Chevrolet. I had most of my routine service performed at the dealership and had my share of mechanical problems with the car. Throughout the service experience I became to appreciate the service experience received at Bud Kouts. The service department has a friendly atmosphere when greeted by the service advisors or service consultants. The technical staff has worked diligently to identify any vehicle problems and for the most part has repaired the issues the first time in for service. My latest service problems were intermittent and/or difficult to duplicate or identify. The service staff at Bud Kouts went the extra mile and a lot of effort to pinpoint the problem and make the repair. I would highly recommend Bud Kouts service as a place to go for a proper diagnosis and a proper repair at a competitive price. The sales staff is equally top notch having knowledgeable sales people and excellent customer focus.

Expensive repairs made to F150 with drivers side front wheel damage when other mechanics saw at at a glance that the truck had a bent frame that did not allow for reasonable road servicability. Your mechanic apparently knew the frame was bent (as noted on the bill) which did not allow for alignment, which he did not do, and turned it over to me to drive to howell with the steering wheel upside down and the fron wheels visably out of alignment. I had to drive at 40 miles per hour with the truck strongly pulling to one side. Unsafe. BAD SERVICE

Going through the sales process was great, even though at the time we had low credit, they were great to work with! Came back later for our warranty provided services and the service was great, as soon as something got messed up with pricing, they personally apologized and asked first if i wanted them to continue on the work. Also, it is a great place to go and buy if you have kids, they have a great kids waiting area!

I bought a Chevy Cruze LTZ, and had very specific wants - one of the most difficult was that I would only purchase one that was Gray. My salesman, Tom Buonodono, bent over backwards to find a Gray Cruze with the features I wanted. His care and concern extended into introducing me to the service area, so that I would know what to expect when bringing my car in for service (which I will definately bring my car to Bud Kouts), to walking me through the "My Chevy Link" info, was outstanding. In talking with others, and letting them know what excellent service I recieved, I've found that Bud Kouts is known for the wonderful care they show towards their customers. I chose Bud Kouts because I heard they had wonderful service from a friend, so I had to check them out. My car had been hit and needed body work done to the bumper as well as the mirror. I went in to get the estimate for insurance and to see how much it would cost to get fixed. I was greeted with a warm welcome, offered free coffee and magazines while I waited, and was helped promptly! I only waited about 10 minutes while the gentleman inspected my car. He brought me out to my car and explained to me everything I needed to know as well as the details of the estimate he came up with so I understood everything he came up with. At other dealerships/ shops I have been to in the area they send you off with a piece of paper and expect you to pay whatever without explanation. I've even been charged before for services I don't understand and sent out the door! But not Bud Kouts! I felt like they actually cared about my satisfaction here as well as making me first priority! I was so happy with what they came up with! I would recommend them to all my friends as well as anyone who needs body work done on there car quickly! They are wonderful! -Carrie L.

Needed work done on my car. I looked up Bud Kouts and saw that it was closest to me. I went in and they took care of everything I needed and in a timely fashion. The staff were very friendly. My favorite thing was the concierge service that is available if you have somewhere you need to be while your car is being worked on. I will be back.

Bud Kouts has been my auto service dealer for over thirty years. I have never been disappointed in their quality of service. The staff is always friendly. The service check-in people never try to sell you service you don't need. I especially like that when a mechanic finds a problem they let you know if it is in need of immediate repair, can wait, or we should just watch it an see. They don't rush you into fixing things if its not necessary.They are an honest dealership.

I got an oil change at Bud Kouts and had my car dropped off at work afterwards. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the clock in my car (an hour off from daylight savings, still ;)was fixed and there were detailed notes left from the 27 point inspection. I have since been back in for service gift certificates and for a Body Shop estimate -- excellent service, and friendly staff from start to finish.

Entire staff at Bud Kouts Chevrolet was helpful. Sales staff was very interested in helping customers learn about all of the vehicles on display. Parts department helped locate the parts we needed for our vehicle and we were on our way in no time. There was a little miscommunication problem but the general manager handled the problem. Great service!

I researched vehicles before coming in to Bud Kouts. I found one I likes and was greeted by Ron when I arrived. I have never met Ron but we struck up a conversation. Purchasing a used car is on my, "what I like to do least" list. Ron was low pressure and answered every question I had. I brought my son back the next day to see the car as he was purchasing it. We had a couple of concerns. We struck a deal a little higher than I wanted, but the service was great. Today, we picked up the car. We signed the papers and paid for the vehicle. They filled it with gas, buffed out the scratches and addressed our concerns. This is a 10 year old vehicle and it is was restored to excellent condition. Ron is my kind of salesman. No pressure sales but answered every one of my questions. I had never been to Bud Kouts before but will certainly bring them my business as needed.

I had a very pleasant experience working with Dan on my new 2013 Traverse. Dan was very informative and did not pressure me into the sale. I was given a good price that was within my budget and he gave me many options to chose from reflecting various monthly payments. Upon delivery of the vehicle, he introduced me to the Service Director, Jerry Lockard, who was also very friendly and informative. Dan also spent time showing me how to operate everything inside the vehicle from the stereo, rear backup camera, climate control, fold down rear seats, etc. I would definitely recommend Dan and the Bud Kouts staff to all my family and friends. My family and I have been going to Bud Kouts for years. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly without being overbearing or pushy. When purchasing my used Pontiac G6 I felt confident that I was being sold a stable and reliable car. The salesman (Pat Iding) also reassured me that with any problems whatsoever to call him personally and he would assist me in any way possible. I was impressed when I received a thank you letter in the mail and also a phone call thanking me for my business and to ask how the car was or if I had any questions. I would highly recommend Bud Kouts to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I went to Bud Kouts to have some body work done on my new Chevy Sonic. Their store was clean and their employees friendly. They told me what the problem was and exactly what they were going to do. They went to bat for me to make sure everything was covered by the warranty. I would totally go back to Bud Kouts and highly recommend them!!

Had the front end of our Dodge Caravan repaired in their body shop thru the insurance company and they did a lousy job. The radiator should have been replaced due to the downforce of the deer but they didn't replace it and now it leaks from being bent. Didn't get the job done right for the high price they charge.

Car dealers make a bigger profit on used cars than new, yet the salesperson I was working with told us that it was the dealership's policy not to give a full tank of gas on a used car.Up until that moment, nothing had really left a bad taste in my mouth, but refusing to spend another $20 so I could have a full tank of gas was ridiculous. I'll never buy another vehicle from this dealership.

Dealership is not trustworthy and sells problem vehicles which they do not stand behind. We bought a "Certified" GMC Envoy and paid a premium price for it only to find out the car had been in a major accident that was concealed from the carfax by GM and the frame had been cut and welded back together with substandard, mismatched suspension parts to compensate for the frame damage. When we confronted Bud Kouts with the problem, they stuck us with it and would only offer to "help us dump it" for 10 thousand less than we paid for it in and auto auction and "help us get into something else". No thanks - these guys are crooked as the day is long and it is no longer a secret why. I have complete high resolution photographs, an independant frame shop written inspection and recorded phone messages confirming all these to be factual. Bud Kouts just wanted us to go away silently...so much for that. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER!!!!!

They have a service prices that are 30-50 percent higher than the competition. When you take a car in there they quote a price for fixing your vehicle that is considerably higher than other places.We went there trusting that we would receive an honest assessment of the problems of our vehicle and also fair pricing for service. Unfortunately we were disappointed. When we confronted them with our concern - they were kind but condescending. I know that GM has been facing financial troubles because of the bankruptcy that has been recently filed - and that the dealers make a significant profit from servicing their vehicles.
