I took my 2007 Volvo in for a comprehensive service. They were very upfront about how much it would cost to replace the transmission before my move to another state, and recommended I sell. It was definitely the right decision and I'm grateful for their honesty and integrity! My boyfriend's family has also been coming here for years and they love the staff. I would highly recommend this dealership (which I know is pretty rare since dealerships usually aren't known for being candid or looking out for your best interest)!

I have been going to Tarpon Springs Volvo for over 10 years, and from the moment I went on a search for a car with my specs, they have only shown professionalism and no pushy sales tactics. However, that type of culture didn't just stop at the sale, like most dealerships. They have especially won my future business because of their stellar Service Team, Matt & Sharon. Because of the Service Team, I am willing to travel almost an hour each way, passing other dealerships along the way just to take my car into their location. They have always taken care of me and my vehicle, and because of this I will continue to purchase new cars only thru this dealership.

I had called beforehand and our sales person was waiting for us when we arrived. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car we were looking at and was encouraging without giving us a hard sell vibe that can be off-putting. I have been going to Ferman Volvo for over 7 years and I refuse to take my car anywhere else for service. Although I now live on Harbour Island in Tampa, I continue to go to Ferman Volvo in Tarpon Springs for any service needed on my C70. I always receive excellent service and treatment. Matt welcomes me by name when I enter the service department and has all of the paperwork organized so I am in and out in a matter of minutes. I have just enough time to grab a cup of complimentary freshly brewed coffee and a delicious doughnut before I am in a loaner car and on my way. The friendly, professional service Matt provides will keep me coming back to Ferman Volvo for years to come!

My wife and I have been going to Ferman Volvo for over three years having both of our vehicles serviced there. Matt and Sharon keep us updated on the progress of our service. The service techs are always friendly and they make us feel comfortable. Service is always done right the first time. I've been to other service departments and when receiving the bill feel like I was ripped off; not so at the Ferman Volvo Service Department. I feel that they are are honest and that keeps me going back to them.

I purchased a 2016 XC90 in April 2016. The vehicle had many problems and was in the shop for more than 16 days in the first 3 months. The Service Department was very attentive throughout this process. When the last event occurred, the dealership made the decision to take back the original vehicle and provide me with a new XC90 and they made it work that there was no change in my monthly payment. While I understand that I would have had a strong Lemon Law case, the dealership initiated the replacement on their own without any prompting from me. I am impressed by their integrity and attention.

Over the the six years I have used the service department I have found their diagnosis spot on and the repairs done well. Everyone treats me like a friend, with no efforts to pad the bill. Work is done in a timely manner. My XC-90 has 126k+ miles and is still chugging along thanks to the service department. Matt is a great rep for the dealership.

while I did have to make three visits before the interior top was fixed to perfection, that was not the service departments fault. Corporate Volvo had to approve the replacement as it was under warranty and very expensive. But, this happens no matter what car you buy. Matt, my service advisor is simply wonderful and felt bad that I had to come back. His empathy was genuine and welcomed. He is a treasure, making sure he explained to me what was being done to rectify the situation. Anytime I visit the service department for normal maintenance, my car is returned to me in a reasonable amount of time, and always much cleaner then when I brought it in.

I saw a vehicle on their web site and went to go and look at it. I test drove the car and made an offer. The manager was working up the value for my trade. As the salesman was going over the paperwork he advised me that my trade according to KBB value was only worth 400. Well they must have thought I was born last night. I did my due diligence and checked my car's value before I went car shopping. When I called them on it and advised them the car value is $1,300 they stuttered. Didn't know what to say. Then I pulled out the KBB printed copy I had on my car they were speechless. I got my keys and left. In my opinion this is unethical and deceptive business practices. Two thumbs down

Recently purchased a pre-owned Volvo XC60 T-6. Steve at Ferman Volvo was outstanding. His communication was great and he listened to our needs and requests. There was zero pressure and with a pre-owned, he searched and FOUND us the car we wanted. The dealership, financing, and service are all stellar. My husband and I had the best car buying experience EVER at Ferman Volvo last week. Chris, James and Charlie and everyone involved made sure that things went smoothly with no surprises. We were treated with the utmost courtesy and respect-made us feel special, like a real VIP guest! There were no gimmicks or tricks and no "let me go talk to my manager" routines. They stayed late for us and even found us a lower interest rate to save us money. Can't say enough good things about this dealership and their sales team!!! We will be loyal repeat customers. I went to Ferman Volvo to see a car I had seen on their website. We had called before driving to their location to ensure the car was still available. When we arrived they had the car parked on front ready for us to view and test. I was not looking to buy a car that day but their expertise and willingness to make sure I had everything I needed to make a decision, they even bought us lunch.They are a great group of guys and made us feel welcome.They made sure the car was detailed to my expectation!Very Impressed and happy with the service!

Jay greeted my husband outside the door on a Thursday. Showed him the car in detail. Made him feel very comfortable. He was not pushy. As a result we went back on Friday and test drove the car. Naturally, I (wife) fell in love with the C70. We then agreed to purchase it. Jay insisted that we not drive our car home as we were trading it in. He then gave us a loner. We were to pick it up on Saturday but it was raining. We called Jay and asked if we could postpone the pickup until Sunday. He said no problem. Jay was patient and thorough in answering all of our questions. He made buying the car a positive experience.

I was leaving on vacation when I had a hard time getting my car out of Park. I called and got Jim Connor in service. He knew what to do to get my car out of Park so I could drive it. (shift knob button broke off) When I arrived I found service department busy, but Jim was eager to help so I could start my vacation. He had my car fixed in less than an hour. Jim did a Great job! My only negative comment is the customer lounge is old and uncomfortable.

Ferman offered to sell me a specific used car for a specific price over the phone. When I arrived, they increased the price over $2000.I was interested in a used car found on the Ferman website. The price was higher than Kelly Blue Book estimated retail value, so I called the Ferman sales office. I spoke with a sale rep and asked if they would sell me the car at the KBB price. I quoted him the price shown on their website and I quoted the Kelly Blue Book price for a comparable car with the same mileage. The salesman agreed to sell me the car at the KBB price.Later the same day I received a call from another sale associate. I spoke with her briefly, she was eager to set up an appointment. I agreed to call ahead before I drove in so that she would have the car ready. I mentioned to her that I had spoken with another sales rep and we had agreed on a price. She indicated she was looking forward to meeting us and closing the deal as agreed.When we arrived at the dealership I noticed the car had very big lettering on the back window indicating the price was $995. I laughingly told the sales person I would be happy to accept the price they were offering on the lot. We looked over the car and took it for a test drive. The car appeared to be running in good shape considering its age.When I returned to the showroom I was prepared to purchase the vehicle with cash. It was at that time the sales person told me she could not possible sell it to us for the Kelly Blue Book retail value. They denied ever talking with me about the price, and indicated no one had authority to offer me any price guarantee on the phone.Ferman is playing bait-and-switch. They have the car predominately displayed in the front lot with the $995 price facing a busy street. They willingly told me they would match KBB price (which I feel is a reasonable offer for a 2001 vehicle), and then, after my wife and I both sacrificed days pay each along with a 45 mile drive, we discover they are have pulled the offer from the table.In my opinion no one should be doing business with a dealership willing to use these tactics.

My family has purchased 6 vehicles from Ferman Volvo in the past 10 years and all cars have been serviced at the dealership. The service has been completed professionally, always on time and with competitive prices and advice. Jim Conner has been great to work with and treats you like family. I wouldn't take the car anywhere else. The Body Shop has worked on a number of the cars as well. Living in Florida is a dangerous place to drive. Four of our vehicles have undergone different levels of damage and the guys in the body shop have made the repair process easy, from dealing with the insurance companies to getting the car out the door in brand new condition.
