Great experience, the process was fast. Without preapproval, I was able to leave the dealership with a car in two hours after test drive. Also being later in the day after five. Jerry was a key person in getting the job done so smoothly. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, with a great personality. I absolutely love the car, never owned a Toyota before, and will continue to purchase from Fernelius here and out. The customer service was excellent. Thank you so much for an awesome experience!

Looked for days for a used vehicle for my son and this sales person went above and beyond, as far as being helpful. Curt Gardner was so helpful and professional at getting him approved and in a car the same day. Even brought it to us in the UP by a very nice driver who had all the papers for us to sign and be on his way. Between myself, daughter, son, son-in-law, and family friends I have dealt with a lot of dealers but was never treated as well as with Curt. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking and will certainly go back when it is time for my next vehicle. If I could give more then 5 stars I would as everyone I talked to there did their best to make it easy and stress free. Which in this day and age is something in itself. I have never seen my son so happy with a vehicle. Kudo's to you Curt, and Thank you for your service.

We recently were vacationing in Michigan near Petoskey when our car wouldn't start. Fernelius was the nearest dealer, but 50 minutes away. We finally managed to get it started and called Fernelius to let them know we were on our way. Even though they were extremely busy, Ryan was ready for us when we arrived. They diagnosed our problem in a timely manor and we were on our way! They saved our vacation! Great service!

Cant say enough good things about this dealership and the service department. Our Ram 2500 broke down in Mackinaw City and we had it towed to Fernelius in Cheboygan. Mike and Joe explained (and showed) me the backlog in vehicles to be serviced, but said they would do their best. THAT day, they got it in, found the issue (starter), ordered it and had the truck ready the next day! Saved part of our vacation. Joe even worked with my third party warranty company and got the cost covered. OUTSTANDING! We are from Southern Indiana, but when I buy a new truck, I'm making the trip. Service like this is a breath of fresh air!

This is my second Toyota, my first is going strong 2010 Highlander purchased new with 125,000+ miles. This influenced me to get another one. A 2014 Sequoia became available and I purchased in December. My drive home in a blizzard sold me on the vehicle, very stable and comfortable ride. I've been thrilled with Fernelius over nearly 20 years of getting cars from them.

Beginning with a phone call our experience without a doubt was the smoothest, most enjoyable purchase we ever made. Each employee we made contact with from a detailer, to our saleman Marty, to the finance manager LeeAnn went well beyond their position to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We love our new vehicle and would not hesitate to return when in need of another vehicle. I really can't say enough about their professionalism, their effort to make us comfortable with the service department, and their success at personalizing the purchase. Fernelius Toyota is well worth a visit.

First time purchasing a car from this dealer. Ryan made the process easy and made sure that all the questions and requests I had from Financing to test rides to finding the car I wanted see easy. The facilities at this place are awesome and made you feel much more relaxed than many other dealers that I have dealt with.

Tundra Crewmax owner since 2008. January 2016. Took my 2012 Crewmax Tundra Rock Warrior edition in for routine service; oil change, tire rotation etc.. Everytime I am there Travis who had been my salesman on my last 2 Tundras, Zina in service and most everyone else address me by name, ask if I need any assistance and in general make me feel welcome. Zina always keeps me informed of the findings, time of repairs or maintenance and is always very concerned about my satisfaction before I drive out the door. Recalls and problems have always been rectified to my satisfaction. My only issue is the one hour drive to get to the dealership, but I just love the Tundra's and so the drive is compromise I make to be in a truck that I love.

Worked with Sean, Travis, Lenny and Lee Ann during out leasing and purchasing this past week 12/2015. Have nothing but good things to say about all involved. Made our purchases easy. This is our third time purchasing or leasing new cars from Fernelius over the years and will return when our lease is up. Our only downfall we have with your service is that we have had Toyota car care on both our last vehicles and my husband told service about this and they said that the oil changes were not included on his truck and charged him every time. When turning the vehicles in we questioned the coverage and charges and were told that we should not have been charged for the service on the truck and hope somewhere down the line we are reimbursed for the oil changes on his truck or given free oil changes for the duration of the lease. Other wise we have been happy with our purchases with your dealership.

Curt Gardner ... sales person is very personable and will get you the best price possible on your vehicle. Lisa ... the finance manager/ person was very helpful in getting us the best interest rate on our loan. She was very good at explaining the process and covering the warranty details for us.

Might be good for you, but deifinitely an ongoing pain for us. They know we live 1 1/2 hrs away. Service dept ordered wrong warranty part for our certified preowned 2014 car we bought from them. There's one wasted trip and half day. Now we're back and they know how long the service will take but we do not. So do they ever think to ask "will you be wanting a complimentary vehicle from us so you don't have to be stuck here all day? " No. And now we are stuck here all day. Fletch's in Petoskey ALWAYS asks that question.... and that's for local people! As far as the buying process, they gave this car to us with a rusty license-plate bolt. Rusty! What service / car-prep dept would do that? Fast-talking sales-girl Chrissy tried twice to gyp us out of $50 on refunds of services we cancelled, claiming 'oh that's a dealer expense', or 'oh we can't refund tax that is on a dealership invoice'. She even gave the lame excuse 'oh we'll lose money refunding you that money; I can;'t do that'. We had to complain so consistently that they finally did refund our money. And then we were told "Well we certainly want you to be satisfied and give us a good rep, so we'll refund your $$'. After the stress level has spiked, it's a little late there girlie. Get this: sweet-talking Chrissie even called and yelled at us over the phone. David Fernelius sent out a card asking for feedback via email. We complied, explaining things matter-of-factly and never heard one word back. We think the rusty license-plate bolt is the best memory, however.

Terry and Travis made buying a car a great experience. They made sure that I was getting the car that I wanted without any rush to complete a deal. I drove all of the vehicles that I was interested in and their features were explained to my satisfaction. I felt that they were interested in my best interest and went out of their way to make it easy. I purchased a Rav 4 hitch I'm very happy with.

I think fernelius was great place to buy a car from. Kurt was great to work with as well. I got the exact vehicle I wanted no hassles no strings attached at an awesome price. About the only negative thing I will say is there are way to many employees sittin around shottin the bull not working. The manager/owner is losin serious money on payroll watchin all these people doing absolutley nothing. They are all friendly though...Overall I loved my experience and would definatly be back for my next car.

This is my 7th vehicle over the years that I purchased at Fernelius. I enjoy buying a vehicle from "Car Guys" who have great knowledge of their product lines. They have a large on lot inventory of many models in various trim levels, but this time I wanted something they did not have....BAM......3 days later they had gotten it, prepped it, and I was on the road! Great new facility & solid staff make buying a car a easy,fun,experience. If ever an issue, it is resolved in a convenient manner. A fair deal every time in my experience. Curt is my car guy, and goes the extra mile to make it a smooooooooooth transaction. Top notch dealership!

I have been in to Fernelius several times in the past 4-5 years and they consistently provide the most unpleasant shopping process I have seen. Some of the sales people are nice to work with but the overall process seems to be the same good cop bad cop game. As for service I had to spend a lot of time dealing through the service department with an unnamed, unreachable Toyota service rep to get my vehicle taken care of under warranty. Finally they seemed to have no problems taking care of it, but still an very unpleasant experience. I have on two occasions bought elsewhere after looking at Fernelious. At this point I wouldn't get a car / truck from them if they were giving it away.
