After visiting several dealerships where I was not taken seriously and customer service was terrible I decided to give Fitzgerald of Annapolis a try. Initially I was attract to Fitzgerald because of the prices advertised online. The prices were lower than expected and I just had to come in. Once I walked around on the lot and went inside I was greeted by Ronnie Bobst. Mr. Bobst was very relaxed, informative and patient during my experience. He was the only salesman to offer me a test drive and even showed me many of the features. After the test drive I still wasn't sure if I wanted to purchase or when I wanted to purchase. Mr. Bobst DID NOT pressure me at all. He allowed me to stay in contact with him over the following weeks. When I finally came in to make the purchase because the prices were still low and because I felt at ease with the dealership, the process went smoothly. There was no confusion and no stress, Mr. Bobst and his team handled everything effortlessly. I honestly could have not had a better first time car buying experience.

I've been going to Fitzgerald Mazda since 2003 and the service staff (Service Manager [Jay Gebers] and Service Writers [Tony Tiani and Robby Ross]) are great. Top notch. I always get an appointment on the day/time I want. Drop-off/pick up is simple and quick (no line and long wait like other dealers). Prices are competitive. Staff (and mechanics) are very knowledgeable and clearly explain any issues and the service needs. Don't sell services that aren't needed. They make sure any qualifying warranty items are covered. I live closer to another Mazda dealer, but drive further to Fitzgerald because of the way betetr service experience.

The whole process was handled efficiently and professionally. The salesperson (Ronnie) considered my desires (and the options I did not want) and located the right car for me. Everything went well as to the car sales price, the acquisition of the vehicle, the car setup on the day of pickup, and the finance process. I was pleased with the price relative to the MSRP. Stop by the dealer on a Tuesday late afternoon, spoke to Anthony Johnson asked for a book on the Mazda 6 ( thank you for having a book and not telling me to go online to get info) and told him I was interested in a lease and would like to pick up car on Friday. Anthony was GREAT between text messages with pictures, emails and a few phone calls I picked out my car and got approved for the lease. On Friday I dropped off my previous leased car to that dealer where Anthony picked me up in my new car, we then went back to the Mazda dealership to go over all the features ( great job with that) then went in side to sign papers and I was on my way...... Thanks to Anthony this took less then 60 mins, that includes the time it took to drop off my old car! Amazing job Anthony!

Very knowledgeable, friendly and not pushy which is what sold me on the cx5, We came in for an initial visit and checked out the inventory and went home to make a decision. When we went back for our second visit the car was waiting out front all clean and ready to go. Ronnie is from Vienna, VA, so if any fellow Virginians find yourself looking for a car in Maryland, Ronnie is your man.When we arrived at the dealership, the specific car we had chosen had been sold, but the sales manager, Keith Goodwin, provided us with the same car but with roof rack side rails added for free. Honestly never expected to have such a pleasant, stress-free, pressure-free experience in a dealership. I was given several options of cars to look at/test drive by my sales rep, Anthony. Upon further interest, was given the keys to a 2013 Hyundai Sonata for two (2) days of test driving! After driving the vehicle, I decided to purchase/finance through my credit union. When I returned to the dealership two days later, was asked how I liked the vehicle and handed over the check to make my purchase! Everyone on the floor was courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. No one tried to "hard sell" me on any options. I am extremely happy with my buying experience and with my new "used" car. Would highly recommend using FitzGerald of Annapolis!

I went to Fitzgerald Mazda in Annapolis to test drive the CX3. I was also looking at the Subaru Crosstrek but wanted to see what else was out there. While I enjoyed the CX3, the Crosstrek suited me better. I was thinking, "oh, well, I'll just go find another Subaru dealership." Cameron, however, was attentive to my interests and offered to look for a Crosstrek for me at the Fitzgerald Subaru location (Gaithersburg). Gaithersburg is a hike for me, but we worked it out where they'd deliver the car to the Fitz Mazda Annapolis location. What a great convenience this was! We worked together to get the right options and the right price. Cameron was quick to respond to the subsequent questions I had, and he was very pleasant and friendly to work with. Sincerely the best experience buying a car!

Went in to buy a used Subaru Impreza, my first car buying experience. I am very busy at work, so I put down a 500 dollar deposit on friday so I could get the cashiers check and have time to buy it on saturday. A few hours after the down payment, another salesman called me asking how interested I was in the car. I felt as if they were pressuring me with the threat of selling it from under me and I was very uncomfortable. But, I still go in on saturday to buy the car. I notice a dent in the side that was not there when I test drove it and the salesman agreed. They said they could get it fixed on tuesday while I was at work. This was very reasonable I thought. After that, I was asked to sign a paper saying the car was sold AS-IS, after I was told there would be a warranty of 30 days for the car. I asked why this was the case and then the salesman talked to the sales manager and said they were changing the paperwork. All of these things combined made me feel uncomfortable about the level of service, so I told the salesman I would wait until tuesday, when the car is fixed to buy it. I told them that if another person came in to buy it I would completely understand, but would want my deposit back. The sales manager became EXTREMELY confrontational, and when I told him again that I would wait until tuesday, when the car was fixed, to purchase the car he told me that if that was how I felt, that he did not want my business. I was so frustrated and angry, I was expecting this to be one of the happiest days of my life. I will never deal with any fitzgerald auto mall again.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful without being pushy. Salesmen were helpful and did not rush or throw any annoying sales pitches. My salesman (Ronnie) worked with me on my schedule and spent a lot of time helping me out. William Hoyt also helped me out. The fact that they do not haggle is annoying. But, they had the lowest prices that I saw anywhere so I guess I can't complain. Be aware that factory rebates which anyone can qualify for are already included in the price (eg 500 off for financing) I would definitely recommend this dealership and Ronnie or William to anyone searching for a new car.

We stopped by FitzgMall Mazda in Annapolis to simply look at the Mazda6 with no intent on making an immediate purchase. Our research on a wide variety of vehicles kept leading us back to the Mazda6 Grand Touring. We were met by William Hoyt, and we made it clear that we were only looking at that point, and he immediately made it clear that he was there to help us look, not to force a sale. And, at no time did he even try to push for a sale. One of the highlights of FitzMall is that they very clearly post their no-haggle sales price on the vehicle, which was significantly under the MSRP. William carefully walked us through the highlights of the vehicle, answering several questions regarding some of the option choices and technical questions. The inventory was great and allowed us to look at the three color options we were considering. When we determined that we wanted a 2015 rather than a 2016 because we liked the in-dash navigation/radio screen of the 15 rather than the above dash setup in the 2016, he found the exact 2015 model with the options that we wanted in the color that we wanted. He set us up on a test drive. Upon our return, the dealership had technically closed for the evening, but the team was still standing by, which was great, because we were ready to buy. Because of the no-haggle sales price, there was no lengthy or bothersome games played to make a deal. While we kept the team there far later than they normally stay, they were awesome, from sales to management to finance. They obtained some great financing terms for us and even identified an additional $1000 in savings on the vehicle. We highly recommend you visit FitzMall Mazda in Annapolis and ask for William Hoyt. Even if you don't buy a car from him, you will not be disappointed with your experience.

We had a good experience with our sales associate Ronnie Bobst. He was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed. I got a great car for a great price. We had to wait a while to meet with the finance department, and spent 4 hours total in the dealership. This was the only frustrating aspect, everything else went relatively smoothly. I called Fitzgerald Mazda and spoke to Kutter McMcneil and he was extremely helpful and friendly. He answered several questions over the phone and we set an appointment for the same day. He was as other reviewers have described him - friendly, knowledgable, pleasant and NOT pushy. He listened to our needs and showed us three cars that fit perfectly. He asked lots of questions and listened to the answers. He explained the Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) process and everything about the car. We ended up purchasing a Mazda3 and couldn't have been happier with the car and the price. It could not have been a better used car purchasing experience. When I met Kutter he was very friendly and pleasant.He explained to me the Fitzgerald way of selling cars. I have dealt with several car salesmen over the years in my previous car purchases and some have been pushy and have tried to use high pressure salesmanship that irritates me. Kutter was very helpful in explaining in detail every question I had about the Mazda 3 I wanted to purchase. He is a genuinely friendly person and we chated about things other than cars. After lots of research on a new car, I decided on the Mazda 3. Fitzgerald was the first, and should have been the only, dealership I went to. I worked with Kutter, and his patience, knowledge, and professionalism was fantastic. I must have test drove 3 or 4 models at various times, including one overnight so I could get a feel for the car at night. There is very little pressure to buy from them, unlike other dealerships that soon as you mention a model decide to try talking finances and putting you in the car that day. When it came time to talk money, John was fantastic, answering questions, and giving me a fantastic price. It was a very pleasant experience from start to end. Highly recommended if you are considering a Mazda.

All of the gentlemen we dealt with that day were friendly and as upfront as possible. Ronnie worked toward our needs and showed us some great vehicles with plenty of space for our family. Once we decided on a vehicle (a used 2013 F-150 Supercrew), we were led into the showroom and sat at a table to discuss price. It was at this point that my wife and I naturally raised our guard and prepared for the "negotiation process" that one would expect to encounter at a dealership. To our surprise and delight the price was presented to us in an understandable, easy to read, transparent fashion. No hidden fees. No "let me send you to my finance guy" so he can confuse you with a bunch of back and forth. No let me get my manager who will get his manager who will promise me that I"m getting "One heck of a deal". None of it. Even now I can't think of a way the guys at Fitz could have made our experience better. After buying the car and trading in my old Silverado we got home and realized that we had left a customized CD of kids music that belonged to my son in the truck. I called Ronnie and he had it in the mail that day. It just goes to show you how customer focused these guys are at Fitz. We absolutely loved our experience at Fitz and plan to go back for our next car/truck.

I feel robbed. I had to get a tire sensor replace today in my Mazda. On the phone they qouted $130, i took time off work and when I turned up they charged $240. They claimed thier price excluded labor. While I was there I called Heritage Mazda they qouted $160 including install and the sensor. I had no choice but to go with Fitzgerald as I needed it done. However i just called pep boys...$69 for te sensor and $20 to install. You expect dealer prices to be high, but pepboys were $89 (total),heritage (another dealer) were $160 and the gangsters aka Fitzgearld were $240. I will never buy from them again.

My experience: New car purchase with Anthony JohnsonI must say I am impressed with how honest and simple they kept the buying process. They were one of the two lowest price quotes I got (over the internet) and kept their word until the end. They did not have the car and had to transfer it from another dealer, so I was a bit uneasy about the deposit. But Anthony convinced me that it was simple and in the end they did not even take the deposit (I went in the same day). They transferred the car in a few hours, which I thought was amazing. Anthony kept me informed all through the process and he started the credit check process before I got to the dealership. By the time I got there, everything was ready for me: just test-drove the car (prepared impeccably), signed the financing papers and we were on our way. Just a great guy to work with. Jason, in the financing department, had everything perfectly organized and labeled and we finished the papers in 10 min. He did ask us about the extended warranty in a very polite way but we did not need it; no pressure whatsoever.

I stopped in just to look at a Saturn outlander but it had more miles then I was looking for but an extremely nice clean trade in. Me and my husband were welcomed with a friendly smile and prompt attention. We were not pressured into anything unlike most car salesmen do when you walk through the door. That was great because I absolutely hate a pushy high pressured salesmen. Especially one who tries to talk me into something I don't want and then tries to rip me off as well, like their giving me a good deal. That absolutely will not happen at Fitzgerald auto mall in Annapolis, MD. They made us feel right at home and completely comfortable in every way. First they approached us to find out just what we were looking for in make, model, year, size, exterior, interior and mileage wise. Then we looked over the vehicles they had in inventory their as well as other locations of their stores. We were told don't except anything else but what you really want because then you won't be happy and we want you to be completely satisfied with your new purchase. We found a Mazda 2013 with 15,800 miles on it and we were let take it home over night to see if it was what we were looking for and met all our needs. It met all expectations and more for a mid size affordable SUV you could not ask for more. Me and my husband didn't have the best of credit and Jason Tiani worked his self ragged to get us approved at a halfway decent rate considering our credit history. Know body else living could have done any better job then Jason Tiani did for us. Not to leave anyone else out everyone was great to us and did their utmost best to help us out in time of need. If your looking to buy a new or used car you can't go wrong they will do everything in their power to help you out and give the best deals in town. I would like to especially say Thank You to the store manager, Scott Gates salesmen and Jason Tiani loan officer who worked so hard to get the best deal for us!

I found the dealership via cars.com, since I was searching for Mazdaspeed3's (MS3) in my area. I was paired with Salesperson Joe Frantum, who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Joe was easy-going and professional. I had arrived at the dealership near closing time and with no intention of buying a car that night. After test driving an MS3, Joe had the mentality of, "If you like this car, then what can I do to put you in it tonight?" We struck a deal that was very reasonable and maximized my trade-in's value. Joe, Tawab, Jason, and a mechanic stayed well after closing to make sure everything was in order. Anthony did a great job listening to what I was asking for and then finding an exact match which met my needs -- didn't press on me to settle for anything less or anything he had immediately available in the yard. Crooks! I had an appt for weeks for the accelerator recall repair and also asked for estimates to replace headlights and fog lights which were cracked and etched and asked if they could find out why my radio reception is terrible. After keeping me waiting for over an hour they said they didn't have the parts for the recall. They don't do recall work on the weekends so I wasted a day of annual leave. They then said they don't work on radios since I had aftermarket satellite radio antenna installed for my portable radio - because the mazda reception was so bad! They said they don't replace the whole headlight with cover and that I could have them try to polish the etched covers. I told them they already did that and made it worse and you can purchase and install your own headlamps from mazda parts bought on the internet. Then they tried to tell me I had oil leaks and bad gaskets that would cost $3600 to fix. This is bull unless they caused it themselves which they shouldn't have even looked at. I have it serviced regularly and have no leaks. It was especially suspicious because when I dropped my car off at the desk an older gentleman was paying just that amount for a identical list of problems on his car. These guys are crooks! Don't trust them with your vehicle.

Everyone I delt with was very professional and went above and beyond my expectaions. I am a single woman and was a little nervous about buying a car. John Gay called me within hours of my email request on information. He understood what I was looking to do and went about to make it happen. He even went as far as to have the car delivered to my house with paperwork ready to be signed. It took at the most 15 minutes and the exchange was made, papers signed, and I had the new car a wanted! He is even going to FEDEX my tags when they come in!! Stay awaay from the serice department! They tried to charge me $600 to fix something that only cost me $40 to do at my local car shop! And they were horrible to me. Do not sign any paperwork! They asked me to sign before inspecting my car and then said that I had committed to the work by signing the paper. Stay away!

First, expect "bait and switch". They will quote discounts that you can't qualify for, such as Mazda owner, and the initial price quote will go up. After purchasing the car, they can't do something as simple as register a car. I've been waiting 53 days on a 60 day temporary tags. Phone calls and emails are not returned.

Shopping with Fitz was a great experience. Friendliness...5, everybody was great there, they worked with me...even after I shopped their price around to get a lower price (more on that later), and after I got a ridiculously low price and said I was going elsewhere, they just said "Thanks, we understand," and that was that (until they called me back saying they could match it).My overall experience was good. I did have to wait a while after I purchased, which is my only complaint (but it was unavoidable and I can't blame them). Otherwise they were friendly, explained everything, and let me make my decisions. Like every other dealer they try to get you to do add-ons (rustproofing, etc.), but you can find out much more information about that stuff on their website before you go in, so you aren't making snap decisions in the heat of the moment, and they put no pressure...they just explain what everything is, what it costs, and if you say "No," that's that.Like most dealers, they list the lowest possible prices on their website to try to drum up interests...but unlike some they are pretty upfront about what those prices include (e.g. they'll say if it includes loyaltly cash). And like most dealerships, if there is a lower possible price they can show you, if only you'll give them your contact info. Of course, most places quote you a price you can only qualify for if you're a Mazda owner in the military who's driven it on the moon...and then they just send you emails and phone calls asking "When can you come in." Not Fitz...they sent me one automatically generated email, but a day later, Cameron sent me an email that explained that price (and how they came up with it), explained purchasing options for the vehicle I inquired on in full detail, i.e. with freight (all of their quoted prices include freight), and showing what taxes, tags, etc. would come to, and giving you an out the door price, as well as finance/rebate options (and payments if I financed). Since they were...by far...the most straightforward on price out of the gate, I went to them first. I wasn't sure the price they quoted me would be the lowest, until I visited other dealerships, asked for their lowest price, and they looked at the quote, shook their head, talked to their manager for 20 minutes...and said they thought they could beat it by $100. And when I called Cameron to finalize the purchase, he came in even though it was his day off. Their way of doing business is light on pressure, high on up-frontness, and I guarantee if you walk in there and walk out with a vehicle without visiting another dealership, you'll get a fair price (even if it's not the absolute lowest price you could get if you shopped around, it will be right there...and without tons of annoying pressure...although I would still recommend shopping around).

I recently purchased a 2011 Mazda 3 iTouring sedan from the Annapolis, MD dealership. The car was purchased via email, telephone, and fax -- as I live in NY. I have never made an expensive purchase sight unseen before, but was relying on the past experience of a good friend, who did business with them 6 months ago at the Gaithersburg Toyota dealership. In all of the years that I've bought cars, I have never had a positive experience with a car dealer. There was always some gotcha -- the price, hidden fees, immoral salesmen, poor service after the sale, etc. My salesman, Anthony Johnson, was honest, professional, and knowledgeable. I was treated fairly, the staff was courteous and helpful, and there was no creative accounting presented during the signing of the contract. The car was fully prepped and waiting for me at the time that I arrived. The final paperwork took less than 1 hour from the time of my arrival. The dealer even gave me the car with a full tank of gas, knowing that I have a 300 mile drive home after leaving. Outstanding service!

Going to Fitz of Annapolis I already knew what car I wanted. I was pricing and comparing three dealerships in the area. While I never trust car salesmen, I can honestly say Joe put me at ease. To start off with I appreciated the straight forward "Out the Door" price he gave me via e-mail. One of the other dealerships attempted to hide their real price by putting small print in the e-mail mentioning charges excluded as well as assuming I qualified for all rebates and incentives (Sorry I never owned a Mazda before). While on the lot I mentioned another of his competitors was trying to tell me that their white peril paint was a 200 dollar option that he was giving to me for free. I was shocked when Joe substantiated that it was a 200 dollar option instead of letting me believe that the other dealer was being a little dishonest which would help his cause. Bottom line Fitz of Annapolis had a great price, a trust worthy salesperson, and now another satisfied customer.

I researched prices for my new 2011 Mazda 6 online and USAA reocmmended this dealer. I phoned on Monday morning and spoke with Joe. He had the car at my requested price, said he would honor my CarMax value quote on my old car and would have my new car ready in a few hours. I filled out their online credit form and only had a few papers to sign when picking up the car. Joe stayed late on his shift to take care of me after my work day. I really enjoyed the friendly staff and did not get hassled on price or options. I will be taking my new car to the dealer for service and hope the service staff is as helpful.

I have had only one other experience with purchasing a car and it was awful. I went into this with the expectations that all car sales people are pushy and just want to make their money. I was wrong. I walked in on a Friday morning knowing exactly what I was looking for - a Gunmetal Blue Mica i-Touring Mazda 3 with a sunroof/moonroof. Joe immediately jumped up to help me when I walked in. He explained the "Fitzgerald Way" and instantly showed me the style vehicle that I thought I wanted. He told me to take a look, sit in it and that he would be back with the one I asked for. I looked in, sat down, and got comfy. Joe returned with the very car I asked for, with every feature I knew I wanted on the car. I was able to get in and sit in the driver's seat and go for a test drive! I test drove a car that had 1 mile on it, and had been sitting in the back of the lot for some time. Joe instantly started talking about the car, its features and what I could expect owning a Mazda 3. The wheels seemed a little unbalanced, and before I could say anything he had already explained about the wheels needing time to warm up since it had been cold and it had been sitting on the lot. I noticed through our drive that it balanced out shortly after him mentioning that. We went on the highway and through back streets to be sure that I got a good feel for the car. We got back to the dealer and I don't think I was able to hide how IN LOVE I was with this car. I didn't want to get attached because we hadn't discussed money yet and I was set in my mind that I was not spending more than $25k. When we sat down we were told that the car was under invoice and that this was the price. We asked to see the invoice and instantly he got up to get it. I toyed around with whether or not I was going to buy the car but I think I knew in my mind that I was leaving with this new car! Joe helped me understand everything I needed to understand about the car, what it did, the service options, warranty options, etc. I made the decision and instantly was hooked up with someone in the financing department to fill out the necessary paperwork. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out with keys to my new car, the process only took about 2.5 hours! While the visit was quick, I left feeling that I obtained all the proper knowledge on my new car. When getting in prepared to leave, Joe even helped me set up the bluetooth device through my car for me to utilize the phone over the speakers. He went above and beyond to make sure that I loved what I bought and understood all of the features that came with it. I went back today to get my new tags and again, everyone I encountered were very helpful and friendly. Joe asked if I had any questions, if everything was running okay, and how I liked my purchase so far. I told him that I not only made the right choice of car but that I made the right choice in where to purchase it. Everything about this dealership has made me happy and secure in my decisions. They even put the tags on for me before I left. I am so glad I made the decision to go to Fitzgerald Auto in Annapolis!
