I didn’t end up buying a car from them but their customer service was absolutely awesome! If you get a chance ask for Maddy she helped me out and wasn’t pushy and let me test drive the cars I wanted to look at and even pulled up all the car info on the cars. 10/10 overall experience

I recently brought a 2021 Jetta, and let me tell you the entire experience from start to finish was amazing. Everyone I interacted with was nothing but friendly, courteous and kind. I work with Ben, Mike and another gentlemen whose name escapes me. Each of them made sure made sure to explain all of the fine print many other dealerships do not. It made it very comfortable to want to buy a car from them understanding all of the ins and outs of the car buying experience that many other dealerships generally hide from you. I truly appreciate their upfront and honest nature in how they do business. I have previously purchased new cars before and something felt a little swindled. Not this time... I will be purchasing from Fitz Auto mall in Frederick for years to come.

Can't trust a dealers word on the pricing on the phone. They just want you to feel obligated to pay what they want you to pay once you get there. Why would you trust them on the quality of the vehicle?

I just bought a new car from Fitzgerald, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with Brent Johns. He's very personable, a great listener, and he was able to answer all my questions including the ones I didn't think to ask. And for anyone looking for a no-pressure showroom without the stress of haggling, I'd recommend Fitzgerald. While they will offer additional dealer services (upselling) there is no pressure to purchase these extras (although I think some of the extras are worth it and are reasonably priced). I was impressed overall with their vehicle pricing. It was very competitive.I compare this to another dealer experience in which the salesman knew next to nothing about the car I was looking at (he didn't even know how to open the back hatch) and asked if I'd be interested in a Honda Odyssey after I mentioned that I was only looking for smaller cars and then went down the route of "What can I do to get you to buy this car today" after I told him I wasn't ready to purchase for another three months. I'm happy to say that Brent Johns and the rest of the staff at Fitzgerald was nothing like this. They all were so helpful and courteous and respectful of my time. This is the second car I've purchased from them, and I envision myself returning to them again when I need to make another purchase.

My family and I recently traded in our vehicle for a new lease on a 2016 Mazda CX5 and we were pleasantly surprised with the caliber of service that was provided, from setting up the appointment to the departure with our new vehicle from the dealership. Gary Randall contacted us from our initial Internet inquiry and scheduled our visit. He also speeded up the process by taking in our current vehicles information and told us what to expect. He greeted us and coordinated a test drive with Mark Lawson. Mark was so pleasant and easy to work with. He made each step of the process easy and was able to get us a better vehicle at a better price than we ever expected. Joshua Gutzman in finance was also very professional and did a great job explaining the paperwork and getting us on our way. Mark then gave us our keys went over a few more features in our new car. He even programmed my phone in the car's blue tooth and set my navigation system up for home! Mark definitely went above and beyond and we are so grateful for the experience and service we received. We will definitely do business with them again and will be telling our friends.

Bruce Engle is the man. Enjoyed talking with you and making a deal. After making the deal with you things went sour with the people working on the I owe you ticket and hate say other employees should have to take a class on how to treat the people that is giving them a job and a paycheck and not telling the guy who walk us to the ladies office to leave her know that we was not happy with what was cleaned only to hear her tell the guy that she had a bad day and was not up to more crap that day (she didn't know we were standing with him and could hear everything she said). So much for that story Once again Bruce you in my book are one of the best salesman to work with. Thanks again

AVOID FITZGERALD SERVICE!! Without a doubt the worst service department I have ever dealt with. We took our car in about a year ago for an oil change. When we went in to get it the seats had grease stains on them. When we brought it to their attention, they were indignant and rude about it. They wiped at the spots but I ended up finishing the job myself. A year later I get a recall notice and decide to try Fitzgerald again since it is the closest Chevy dealer. I had them change the oil as well. Came to pick it up and it had grease on both front seats and one of the seats was reclined most of the way back. The service manager on duty did offer to detail the car but they needed to keep it through the end of Monday (from Saturday) I came in at 5 on Monday and the service advisor had instant attitude when we came in.. I go out to the car and it was clean but on the outside was a large black smudge. The service manager came out and cleaned it off but was very short and unfriendly about it.. If you like being treated well by the dealership doing your work try Criswell.. Its a little further to drive but they actually value their customers.

I have been buying cars from Fitzgerald's for over 20 years. I would not buy a car from any other dealer. The sales staff are excellent and the Fitz advantage is really great. I love the no hassle deal and I got a very fair price for my trade in. They found the exact car I wanted at another dealer and brought it into the dealership the same day. We recently had another great experience purchasing a car at Fitzgerald. This was our second car purchased at Fitzgerald in the last two years. Just like the first purchase, we felt good about this from start to finish. Fitzgerald pricing on quality preowned vehicles is second to none. Jason Saville was extremely helpful from the first handshake to our follow-up questions two-weeks after the purchase. There was no pressure, everything was very casual and pleasant. He let us ask all the questions and followed up with knowledgeable, straight-forward answers. It was pleasure working with Jason! I must also mention that Kevin Bull in the service department is the reason we started shopping for our last two cars at Fitzgerald. We have had our GM cars serviced with Kevin for the last 5 years. This was the easiest and best auto purchasing experience we have ever encountered, particularly due to our salesman Brent Johns. My wife and I already knew what vehicle we wanted to purchase, and I contacted Fitzgerald Auto Mall to speak to a Mazda salesman. I was immediately connected to Brent Johns. I explained to him our current vehicle situation and our purchasing needs. Brent was very knowledge about the Mazda 6 we were inquiring about, and answered all my questions and concerns. If Brent did not have an immediately answer for me, he researched the answer and contacted me within a very reasonable time period, usually within minutes. Due to my wife and I living over an hour from the dealership (different state), Brent made sure to get all the required documents from us prior to our purchase date in order to expedite the purchase process when we arrived. When we arrived at the dealership, we were approached by very friendly staff. The transaction process went smoothly, and our Finance Manager Mike Sienkiewicz was also very friendly and knowledgeable. This was by far the best car buying experience my wife and I ever had. If you are ever in the market for a Mazda or any other vehicle offered by Fitzgerald Auto Mall, you will not be disappointed. One of the best parts about this dealership is their No Haggle practice. We will definitely be coming back in three years when our new vehicle lease is coming to an end.

Brent Johns and the team at Fitzgerald completely defied my expectations of the car buying process, in a good way. Having never bought a car from a dealership before, and having recently emerged from the nightmare which is mattress shopping, I came into the process fully prepared for greasy salesman, deceptive pricing and high-pressure tactics. Instead, what I found was a friendly, down-to-earth environment, with genuinely helpful customer service, which made my dreaded car-buying experience not just tolerable, but actually enjoyable and pleasant! From the moment we went for my first test-drive, it was clear that Brent is someone who understands and shares the pleasure and enjoyment of driving. High-pressure sales instantly turns me off and makes me want to run the other way, so Fitzgerald was clearly the right place for me. Brent was extremely patient and accommodating during my search; I took lots of time deciding and trying out different cars, and he indulged me by letting me go into twisty back roads in the mountains, so I could really get a good feel for the car. I had very specific cargo requirements for my car due to being a musician with lots of large musical gear, and he allowed me to take multiple vehicles to my home to try loading my gear in to see if it would fit. During the whole process, I felt totally relaxed and unhurried, and Brent's enthusiasm seemed to come from his love of cars rather than the need to make a sale. This is how sales should be -- an ideal salesman sells the product because of his own genuine appreciation and enthusiasm for it.I have equally high praise for Josh Gutzman in Finance, who was totally laid back, friendly, transparent and informative. Before I made my decision, I went to four or five other dealerships to try lots of different cars, but I ended up back at Fitzgerald not only because they had what turned out to be the best car for me, but also because they were people I felt comfortable working with.

Thank you VERY much to Rob & Brian for making my car buying experience AMAZING! I called & spoke with rob to make sure the VW was still on the lot. By the time I got there (15 minutes later), he had already put air in the tires, gas in the car and had it cleaned up ready to go for me to test drive. Not ONE time during our test drive did he initiate conversation about financing. He solely discussed features of the car and answered all of my questions. Rob was extremely knowledgable! All the employees are kind and helpful. There was no pressure when it came to leasing my vehicle. There was no hassle when it came to negotiating a price for my vehicle. The service department is fantastic. All the features of my vehicle were explained to me, and they even helped me sync my phone with the car, and helped set up the satellite radio. When I need a new car, I'm going back to this dealership in a heartbeat.

I spent to much time looking at cars in MD and VA. The prices where just out of my budget and the dealers would not negotiate new or used. Some where just plain rude. Offering low payments for a car that I cant afford isn't the answer and selling it to me as such is how people get trapped in debt. LOW AND BEHOLD if I had come here first I could have saved a week or 2. I saw the car I wanted on the webpage. It had everything I wanted and then some. The price was well below budget and unlike many dealers the "Internet price" is actually what they sell it for. It's not a gimmick where its base on a bunch of possible deals you might be eligible for. I called and they held it for me for a a few hours untill I could get up there. Mark Lawson was incredible personable and fun. He put no pressure on me and answered all my questions. He was friendly and as quick as he could be (we all know car buying is never in and out) This place was a dream compared to what I had experienced. The prices on most models seemed pretty good.

We've been looking for a used VW Jetta with manual transmission for some time, having gone to several dealers. Fitzgerald's was the last place we visited; we should have gone there first. The experience was actually pleasant. Both Mark of Sales and Josh of Finance made the experience essentially pain free and provided us the information we needed to make our decision in a no hassle, no pressure environment. From now on, the Fitz way is the only way we'll go when purchasing a new or used car.

It did not hurt that we knew what we wanted. But Brent made the whole process of test driving, trading, and buying our new Passat very pleasant. Very knowledgeable, not pushy or cheesy, and has the best route for test driving a vehicle that I have ever experienced. I went to Fitzgerald Auto Mall knowing I wished to purchase a car, and Brent Johns took the initiative to introduce himself and guide us through the car offerings. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and helped steer me towards the right car. In all communication throughout the looking process, and then even after the purchase, he's been attentive, responsive, and easy to work with. He's done a magnificent job of being present when you could use it, without tipping into excessive calling. He's very polite and personable, making talking with him easy. I'd highly recommend working with him and with Fitzgerald Auto Mall, which has been such a smooth process throughout. Five months in, and I'm so glad I chose to worth with them. I had a really great experience buying my Passat yesterday. Bent Johns was really easy to work with and seemed to have a level of empathy for me, the customer, not always seen in this industry. During the transaction, I never mentioned previous negative experiences at the dealership that I and my family have had which resulted in purchases elsewhere. Brent changed my opinion of the dealership and sold me the car I wanted without all of the hours long crap and drudgery sometimes involved. Also, the price of the car was competitive enough that I felt further shopping unnecessary. Overall, the next time I buy a car, if Brent is selling what I want, he will be my first visit.

Went in for a new Equinox. Mark Lawson was my sales person. I know I am not the easiest lady to deal with by Mr Lawson was patient and understanding. I knew what I wanted and knew what my budget was and respected my wants and budget. He did not not try to sell me what he felt I should have nor did the try make a big commission off of me. If he can deal with me and I left happy he can deal with anyone.

We had been searching for a vehicle to replace a 2012 Chevy Sonic. I was uncertain as to whether I wanted a brand new car or a late model used car. In several cases I saw cars on Cars.com that seemed like good deals only to find that the cars had been sold or the prices had changed. Then I spotted a 2015 Sonic with low mileage and really good price from your dealership. Since I am from Virginia was a little hesitant to go out of state, but I called to check and the car was available at the price quoted. Moreover, I could pay Virginia tax, so it was like staying in state. And the deal was even better than I expected! Frankly, I feel that I got a better than brand new car. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with Jason Saville, your salesperson. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to the nth degree. And while I cannot recall the name of the woman who did the financing for us, I was also very impressed with her friendliness and professionalism. You have a great staff.

We switch cars every 2 to 3 years, and we've gone through 5 cars in the last 10 years and our experience at Fitzgerald Mazda in Frederick was the best. Jessica was friendly, professional and knows the features on the cars (cannot be said for a lot of other sales people out there). They were never pushy and we never felt pressured to make any decision.Also this is one of the fastest car buying process we have had. Went to test drive on Saturday, which took a about an hour. Left a deposit and came back on the following Tuesday to pick up the car. We spent more time on 270 driving from DC to Frederick than we spent at the dealership. The finance manager was very friendly and didn't push any extra add-ons (probably because this is a lease), and we were out of there in about an hour. And guess what, we ran into more traffic on 270 on the way back home...When we are ready to turn in this Mazda for another Mazda or VW, we will definitely be back to see Jessica at Fitzgerald's in Frederick.

I bought my car in November. It is only 6 months from when I bought it. I have put my car in the shop 4 times. Now I have a 3000 dollar fix I can't afford. The extended warranty you buy is not worth it the won't help you unless the engine blows up or transmission falls out. Now I will have to do a voluntary repossion because, I can't fix it. They people are liars and crooks I feel bad I help give them business!!!!!!!

I had been wanting a used Cadillac XLR-V and found one I was interested in at Fitzgerald. The only problem was that I live in Colorado and the car was at Fitzgerald in Maryland. Lina Yi worked with me relentlessly over the phone, by email, and text to get me every bit of information and arrange for a friend in the area to test drive it for me and be my local eyes and ears so to speak. Once I had decided I thought I wanted to move forward with the purchase I worked with Josh Gutzman for most of the rest of the transaction. Josh would quickly call or email whenever I had a question or needed information for my financing or insurance. Josh was even able to find me financing for half the rate I had secured at my Credit Union. Once the transaction was done Josh and Lina worked with the shipping company I had contracted with to get the car loaded and off to me in Denver. It was a great experience and I'm going to go into their dealership if and when I'm in the area and thank them in person!

My wife and I traveled 150 miles to buy a used VW we saw on Autotrader. There was a discrepancy between a listing and a photo and Tracy, the sales-lady, went out to check and confirm and then continued to answered questions and check on things during the 4 days that elapsed before we could get there. She was obviously very concerned that we would not make such a long drive and not have the car meet our expectations. The car was in good shape and they even had service look at a concern that we had to help make sure that the previous owner had taken care of it. On top of it all when I was at the bank gathering a cashier's check it turned out they needed my wife's signature too, and Tracy gave her a ride over there to facilitate the process.Josh, the manager, even looked into some things for us. He told us that the car could have a sunroof added, but then went back and called the company that does it and it turned out that they don't normally do that body style, so he wanted to make sure we knew that before buying.

Purchased a pre-owned 2016 Mazda CX-5 from salesman Jason Saville. Jason was pleasant, informative, respectful and very helpful. To date, we purchased 13 vehicles from other dealers and by far, Jason was the best we worked with. When we are ready to purchase number 14 we hope Jason will still be at Fitzgerald's. Update, 5/12/2016 , we were told Fitzgerald does not transfer tags from trade in to vehicle being purchased. So Fitzgerald applied for new permanent plates and gave us a temp plate. We returned the old plate from vehicle we traded in, to our local DMV. Few weeks later, we get $10.00 refund from Fitz and temp reg, card, since they did do a plate transfer.. Now we have to go to DMV to straighten this mess out, Fitz tittle department has been no help and wont return calls. Like the vehicle and salesman Jason but not sure I would buy from Fitz again, do to tag problems.

We bought a Certified Used 2014 Silverado LTZ Crew Cab on March 24 2014 and our salesman was Jason Saville. He was great and friendly to work with. He always answered text messages and emails immediately. He was very busy but still kept up with us and our questions. We had our used vehicle appraised while we test drove the new one and when we got back it was ready and we started our purchase. He went above and beyond and Kevin also did amazing job making the numbers work and come together. In the finance department Brian Wallace did our paperwork. He was very pushy about warranties and coverage I didn't want and when I turned them down I was told I was making a huge mistake, almost as if he thought they were selling me a piece of junk.

In comparison to the other two local dealers, Fitzgerald's was extremely fair and accommodating in offering us a fair trade in value for our car and assisting us in finding the perfect car to meet our needs! I've been a loyal customer to the service department for years. For oil changes and tires, they are just fine. But for costly jobs, they will just screw you plain and simple. I brought my VW in August 2015 because it started bucking on me when I would try to accelerate. I explained to the service department to please call me and before doing any work, can they check the transmission. If it was the transmission, which was my diagnosis, I do not want to replace it, my car wasn't worth it. So what to do they do, knowing good and well it was the transmission, say its a computer for the transmission. The part and labor was around $1800 and then they sold me on a tune up so that my car will be good as new, another $600. Well after a month, I brought it back, the transmission still bucks when shifting into 2nd gear. They claim they can't reproduce the problem and there are not diagnostic codes and give me my car back. Now, in March 2016, my service light is on. Guess what, its my transmission, I need a new one, which I'm certain I always did since August!!! And to top it off, they wont credit me for the 'screw you' part they sold me, to make some business off of me because I explained upfront, I wouldn't replace the transmission if that's what's wrong...... since now the warranty on the part is up!!!! Funny, how that worked out when I took the car in a month after they screwed me in August and they said everything was fine, while my car bucked backwards whenever it shifted to 2nd....... I will never use this dealership again, they lost a loyal customer.

We had a horrible experience trying to buy a new (used) vehicle. We had gone to at least 20 other dealerships before trying Fitzgerald. We had around a 10,000$ limit that we didn't want to exceed. At all the other dealerships, they looked down on us. We didn't have enough for them. We told them everything we wanted in a vehicle, and they kept trying to sell us thing they just wanted to get rid of. We had almost given up hope on dealerships in general. As soon as we walked into Fitzgerald, mark Lawson greater us with a smile. He treated us with respect and really listened to what we wanted in our purchase. He found us the perfect jeep commander, and we couldn't be happier. He kept up his pleasant attitude the entire day. Mark found us exactly what we wanted and it was even UNDER our budget. I would recommend this dealership, (and mark) to anyone looking for a fantastic car buying experience.

We actually went into Fitzgerald to see a different salesman, however, he was not there. Alex Camacho was available and I was very impressed. He is the best car salesman that I have ever had in 30 years of buying cars. He was nice, polite, down to earth. He was very professional, he kept us informed of what was going on by explaining all of the processes to us, he was interesting to talk to and he made sure that we were comfortable. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody who is going to make a car purchase.

I would like to recommend Mike King to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. My first contact with Mike was in response to an inquiry that I made about a car on their website. Mike responded with an email detailing the low Fitzway price and asked if I needed any other information. I communicated with Mike on multiple phone calls and emails until I came and purchased the vehicle. Unlike many dealerships that I have dealt with in the past, Mike did not hassle me with repeated phone calls or emails. I have purchased lots of cars over the years and I can say that this is the first time I have ever left a dealership without feeling remorseful. Mr. Rhett Bronw was excellent to deal with. My wife and I were "just looking," however, we decided to purchase during the same visit. We typically sleep one night on large purchases, but we were so comfortable with the process that we took delivery of the VW Passat the same day. Rhett Brown NEVER pressured us into buying. He answered questions and offered his best information on any questions we had. The biggest thing we reapected was he was truthful to his word. Nothing changed after our deal, which happened to us over the summer we purchase from another dealership in Gaithersburg. Customer service was very poor, nice friendly people, but pretty useless otherwise. On the spur of the moment I tried to surprise my wife with a new car while she was out of town. My fault that I did not have some of the items the required like the registration since I cleaned in out in a hurry. So day one (Friday) I spent running around getting everything they requested. Day 2 (Saturday) I came back with everything and paid for the car, but they did not have the navigation SD card. Disappointed that the car was ready but I took possession and scheduled to return on Wednesday to have the card installed. I showed up on Wednesday as scheduled but the SD card was not there or they could not find it (depending on who I talked too). They never called to cancel the appointment so I drove the 80 miles there and back again. 3 trips so far, still missing navigation. So I rescheduled for Saturday. So finally after 320 miles and many hours I finally got the car but on the last trip to the dealership I picked up a screw in the front tire. I asked them if they could help out (contribute half of the cost) with the $304.00 bill I got to replace the tire since I got it making a 4th trip to dealership. I thought got it driving there, plus all my time, gas, etc. making 4 trips they would at least consider putting up the $150.00. Their response was we are not in the business of giving away tires. So I followed up with a brief email stating my disappointment to the Customer Relations Manager, a week has passed with no response from her. Maybe I will get one response now, since I have learned a valuable lesson, Customer Service at Fitzgerald ends once they have your money. So they lost a customer for life over $150.00 and maybe others too.

I had researched the car in question and told him I had very little time with which to work, he came in early to meet me and too care of everything. We saw a car online that we thought fit our needs, and when we arrived at the dealership on a very rainy night, Mark had the car under the pavillion and ready for us to test drive. When there was a small hitch at the last minute with the car we wanted to purchase, the whole staff went out of their way to find us a comparable vehicle to use until the issue could be resolved. The following week, our car was ready and Mark facilitated exchanging the cars. All in all, we felt the Fitzgerald staff put our needs foremost, and we will not hesitate to go back again!

My service adviser was terrific. Walked me out to the shop so we could look at the car from the bottom-side to see the problem and talk more intelligently about with him. We have bought two cars from them in the past 6 months and can not say enough about how wonderful our experience has been. Both times our salesmen were knowledgeable and accommodating (even when we had to see if a car seat would fit). We worked with Josh both times and he is truly an all around great guy. He not only took care of every last detail but also remembered us and showed interest in our family, coming by to chat when we visited for the second car. I had a very good experience purchasing a used truck from Fitzgerald. I drove 2 hours to look at a truck that had very little information listed on their website. Josh was kind enough to call me to let me know that the truck I was coming to look at was very rough and would not pass MD inspection. He told me he had a different truck he could show me so I went anyway. The truck he showed me was still being worked on so I could not drive it. Josh coordinated a transfer to a Fitzgerald dealership much closer to me where I could test drive the truck once the work was finished without being committed to the purchase. He personally drive the truck 2 hrs to me for the test drive and closed the sale. Everything went very smoothly and I am very happy with my purchase this far.

He remained understanding and positively enthusiastic even when there was an accidental coffee spillage during the test drive on my father's part. Jason Baker also did a great job in handling a tough situation in which two parties including myself wanted to test drive the same car, but we had called ahead first. Overall a great experience at a great dealership with a wide variety of vehicles and great people!

I chose your dealership because I had previously brought my mother's car in for a recall. Even though she hadn't purchased the vehicle at Fitzgerald, the service department went over and above to fix the problem and even washed it!! Your salesman, James Reed, was exceptional and explained everything leaving me feeling very comfortable with my decision. After purchasing my Cruze I regretted not getting the extended warranty. Jim Harvey called to see if I was satisfied with my experience and I asked him if I could add the warranty on since the deal was already complete. He looked into it and Mike Sinkoweiz in your finance department called me within the hour. I went in the same day and added the warranty. Every person in your organization that I dealt with was professional yet welcoming. I hope I won't need another car any time soon, but if so I will head straight to Fitzgerald in Frederick. But expect to get nitrogen on the tires, it didn't say any thing about in the bill. And also when i get the service done with dealer, i expect to get the car wash, my truck was not wash at the time pickup. And also so my truck battery died when i was try to pickup the vehicle, key was on the ignition but truck was not on P it was on D. I have to mansion, i was waiting on phone call from service department, i drop of the truck day before with service person, i have to call them.

Jason answered the e-mail my son sent to all dealers seeking the vehicle I was looking to purchase, Jason was the first one to answer and I began dealing with him, He was very receptive to my wants and went out of his way to find the vehicle I was seeking down to the color and all the options I wanted. After geting it all together then I had a problem with something on my credit report. He was very patient and encouraging to me as it all was finally worked out to the best. He kept me informed the whole time and I was very happy when he said I could finally come get the car. I will recommend him to any of my friends that might be looking for a vehicle. I would like to compliment the sales/service team; especially Tim Phillips and Andrew Linkler for their assistance in resolving a lengthy and distasteful repair experience (at another dealership!) for my Saturn Sky. After multiple repairs and a recall, I was still experiencing major issues and the car was not drivable. When advised by a senior service adviser at GM to try another dealership to see if some form of buy-out, I visited Fitzgerald. THE DIFFERENCE WAS AMAZING! Andrew and Tim immediately became part of the solution instead of just parroting "no can do." They went to the other dealership, evaluated my vehicle and made a very competitive offer, which combined with some Customer Loyalty Cash from GM, put us into a new Spark. Although repair parts magically appeared at the last moment, we opted to follow-through on the new vehicle.primarily because of the attitude at Fitzgerald. I purchased a used car from Fitzgeralds on Baughmans Lane in early Jan 2015. Had purchased four cars from here previously and had great experiences each time. This last time though I couldn't help but feel taken across regarding my trade in, they really low balled the value of it. They said an accident showed up on Carfax that my car had been in which was fine, it was a minor accident my vehicle wasn't even damaged. The salesman made it sound as if it would really affect the value so they offered me $4,500 for my vehicle. Well low and behold a few days later I see where they had my old vehicle for sale at TWICE the amount they gave me. Now I'm all for people making a profit and I should shoulder some of the blame as well for not haggling a bit but these people ought to be ashamed. I wont be doing any further business with them that's for sure. UPDATE 2/4/13: Was contacted by Josh from internet sales about a week ago and was offered a "True cost of ownership" program. Since I already have a trusted mechanic nearer to my home I declined but they did provide more detailed service records for the car I purchased. Still feel a bit burned over my trade in but I'll take that as a lesson learned and be less trusting of people in general from here on out.

Mark Lawson was great to work with. He didn't pressure me into making a decision, had good info about the cars i was interested in and worked with me to get the rate/payment/term I wanted. The Finance guy (Mike Bennett) was great to work with and got me out in a reasonable amount of time without giving me the hard sales pitch on the extras. I also met with Andrew Linker who spent some extra time showing me the features of the car.

After spending 2 days haggling at Criswell, I decided to give Fitzgerald a try. I was not disappointed! Earnest took great care of all my concerns, and went above and beyond what a typical salesman would do including taking a road trip with me to bring my 2nd trade in to the lot, as well as hunting down some tools I needed to take out my old radio from the trade-in truck. Thank you. Overall experience was also fantastic - pricing was fair, lowest in the area, and completely transparent. Most importantly the value I received for my trade-in was exactly what I was looking for (while the other guys offered significantly less). The financing dept did a great job also - no hard sells at all on the "extras" like rust proofing or gap insurance which is so typical these days. I will definitely deal here again. Thanks.

Mike, and I had a long discussion about a used vehicle they sold me "AS-IS". and by the end of the very lengthy conversation in which I felt like my time would've been much better spent if I would have just stood outside the "AS-IS" vehicle they sold me and just yelled at it hoping it would miraculously fix itself. It was made very clear that his interruption of selling a "AS-IS" vehicle (that there not required to disclose any info on the additional work they did in-order to get it "LOT READY") is as long as one of the many forms you are required to sign when purchasing a vehicle has a stamp of "AS-IS" then they can sell you any vehicle they can get you to drive off the lot in. and it your problem then.....thanks for standing behind what you sell regardless of what you legally liable to do. In-order to make the to this vehicle and make it drivable again it would cost me another 2/3 of what paid for it (that includes what I already paid for the transmission, and the other repairs) and I only drove it for 6 months until it was no longer little issues (GPS, stero, 4wheel drive, horn, ABS, Traction control, getting my rim cut off because they over tightened it the lugs nuts .....they did get me a new used rim, thanks to Andrew the service manager he also provided me with a reasonable quote to replace the transfer case with another used since apparently it's been replaced before.) that was after i had the transmission replaced by AAMCO, which I thought the clunking noise that had been going on for sometime was my transmission going bad but turns out that was the used transfer-case and most recently the heating core. All 3 of the major issue came with-in a month of one another or roughly 150miles.But It was made very clear they are not responsible nor required to sell any one a car that should be at least drivable for 6-8months let alone half the time that you financed for, as long as the have your signature with a "AS-IS" stamp on it. Thanks for the the lesson in business ethics.Bruce was good to deal with tho, and some of the other staff did try help or pass me on to someone else not sure which. They sure wont be my "Dealership for Life"

I happened to meet Mark Lawson by chance one evening as I was looking for a used car I could afford to purchase and payoff due to an unfortunate financial circumstance that left me to believe I would not be able to obtain financing. I am self employed and my credit score is low so in my search I took a chance turn into the parking lot of a Fitzgerald dealership on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick. It was late in the evening and Mark was out on the lot and as he went to enter the building I asked for the hours. Mark was very pleasant and told me to come in as there was an hour or two left until closing. Mark was kind, courteous, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help me secure a reliable vehicle. Mark was never pushy and offered to run my credit and see what may be available. Due to the late hour, he informed me it would be the following day before he had an answer. The next day, he called and let me now I was approved for a new 2014 VW Jetta with a monthly payment lower than what I was able to pay!!Mark and Fitzgerald has been an absolute pleasure to work with and a complete unexpected surprise. He answered all of the questions my wife and I asked, was helpful during our test drive in pointing out the features and ride qualities of the vehicle, and assisted us until well after closing time with our purchase. Sondra Kelley did a great job of explaining the lease numbers to us, and helped me to understand the differences between the deal that was offered and my expiring lease on a competitor manufacturer vehicle, which enabled me to compare "apples to apples". Lastly, Justin in finance was very efficient in processing the final paperwork. Marc is an awesome salesman! My wife and I took off work on a cold February Monday to buy a new car. Our intention was to check at least two dealerships so we went to Fitzgearld first. We were looking at Malibus and Marc came out and asked if we would like to test drive one. Marc brought up the Malibu while we waited inside the warm show room. After driving the Malibu, we decided against it; did not like the engine shutoff feature. We then checked out the Equinox. Marc was very patient while we test drove one, and gave us privacy to decide if we really wanted the car, and helped us with the decesion process due to the large selection of Equinoxs available. We chose a blue one with houndstooth seats, similar to the classic '69 Camaro's optional interior. After choosing to buy the Equinox, Marc was extremely diligent helping us through the entire process, including the financing, the vehicle prep, and the explanation of all of the accoutrements that come with a new car. The Bluetooth is a great feature! We did the entire process in one day, and never needed to visit another dealership. I will definitely buy another car or truck from Fitzgearld, especially from Marc. This is our second car from Fitzgerald and each buying experience was fantastic. You may look around at other dealerships and maybe find lower prices but not realize freight and other processing fees are not included in the sticker price. At Fitzgerald the sticker price includes freight and other rebates (that YOU can actually get), which greatly impacted our buying decision. I highly recommend seeing Andrew Linker if buying a Chevy because he knows all things Chevy. During our most recent visit, Mike Bennett worked a better financing rate than initially offered and made the signing process painless. And if you're staying in the area I would recommend getting their Buyer Protection Plan since it pays for itself in future maintenance costs. Overall, a wonderful buying experience and I would recommend Fitzgerald to anyone.

We went on Friday evening to look at the cars because we were not sure exactly what kind we wanted. Mark Eijgelsheim came out and showed us the Spark. He was very knowledgeable about the car and all of the other cars to which it is comparable. He was patient with all of my questions. We left there with a lot of information and went to one other dealer to see a comparison vehicle and looked online at others. We were not impressed. I texted Mark to let him know that we would be back early Saturday, he was quick to reply. The sale went very smoothly, he was very careful to make us feel comfortable and to keep us informed as to what what going on. He explained each step thoroughly to make sure that we understood. We highly recommend Marc if you are looking to purchase a new vehicle. There was no pressure from him, he was very respectful or our decision.

I generally do not enjoy the process of buying a new car-- always feel like there is scheming going on-- but this time it was actually pretty painless thanks to these gentlemen. Andrew helped my husband and I buy a Chevrolet Equinox and it was the first vehicle that we drove and we fell in love with it. I felt as though Andrew was honest with us and answered all of our questions that we had. William Braswell was extremely helpful, informative, patient and honest. Sensing hubby's concerns he quickly and clearly explained key buttons, lights and settings to help acclimate him to the new environment and help him understand the options. Hubby was pretty sure he wanted the Mazda 3 but it was a matter of from which dealer and how much. William's customer service was the reason we bought here. The manager, Bob, was very helpful, there was no pressure. They all seemed to want to address your needs and concerns rather than simply unload what they had in stock. Even though another dealer offered to beat their price (nominally) that dealer's online pricing was not forthright.and their staff was not very helpful. We felt strongly we'd rather pay a few extra dollars to deal with people we could trust, because it was worth it to find the correct car based on our needs rather than being pressured into buying what the dealer wants to unload. Fitzgerald did not pad any corners. Fitzgerald's transparent and aggressive pricing policy as well as their straight forth personnel and low pressure made the process much more efficient and less stressful than other recent purchasing experiences. I would highly recommend Fitzgerald generally and William specifically if you want a new Mazda.

Kevin has learned me by name, knows my vehicles without needing his computer, and is excellent in communications. I was greated promptly by Charles (before I could even turn off the ignition and get out of my vehicle) and escorted into the service counter. All of my information was readily available to Charles and the paperwork took less than 5 minutes. Although my scheduled appointment indicated I would wait for the service to be performed, I asked for a shuttle to work and Charles immediately arranged the service and I was on my way and back to work in no time at all.

I want to commend the extra effort put forth by service agent Keith Jones and technician Kyle T on the transmission replacement for my 2007 CX9. Keith went the extra mile on several occasions to ensure that costs were kept under control and he even contacted the local Mazda technical rep who provided a new tranfer case at no charge. Kyle put in extra effort to ensure that ALL of this work was done right. Replacing a transmission and a transfer case is non trivial service and I appreciate his dedication to make sure things were done the right way. Also, Keith found some additional issues and got them fixed like a nail in a tire and burned out bulb. I want to thank his dedication and exceptional customer service. Both Keith and Kyle escorted me to my vehicle and they gave me a warm send off.We have purchased our last three vehicles at Fiztgerald (2002 Mazda 626, 2007 CX9, 2011 Chevy Malibu) and you can be sure that our next car will be purchased there too. I initially visited this dealership on 3/29/13 in search for a used car. I have not so good credit and was told that I would have a better chance of getting an approval if I bought NEW. So I choose a new car that I liked, test drove it, and started the application process. I received a call on 4/1/13 stating that I had gotten approved and to come to the dealership to pick up my car. I drove 35 minutes to the dealership just to be told that the car I had gotten approved for was not the car I had test driven or even seen until that day. Why couldn't I be told that over the phone? So I told them NO I did not want that car and left the dealership. I received a call the next day (Tuesday) stating they were able to get an approval on the car I wanted. I drove 35 minutes this making it the 3rd time in less than a week, signed the paper work and payed my down payment of over $4000 and was told I could pick my car up on 4/4/13. I was also given a rental car to use unitl the deal was finalized. First, I was given a Nissan Versa, that had a big bag of cat food in the back seat and cat hair all over the car. Once I complained about this because the charge you a fee of up to $300 for a cleaning fee (They clearly state they will bill you for a cleaning fee if there is any food, CAT HAIR,dog hair, trash and/or dirt). I was given a Toyota Corolla that had a cigerette burn in the front passenger seat, dmage to the bumper, passanger side rear and front door and front bumper. I just took the car and left. Well 4/4/13 has come and gone and I have yet to get my car. On 4/6/13, I discovered that the down payment was taken from my account. I couldn't understand why being as though I still hadn't received the car. I have called the dealership 8 times today and left 4 messages for Mr. Ben Kelly and still have not received a call back from him. I was able to get the salesman Earnest on the phone; just for him to tell me that If I didn't want to go through with deal I would have to wait 10 days to receive a refund. Really? It surely didn't take them 10 days to take the money from my account. I only used Fitzauto Mall because my mother purchased from them and had excellent things to say. I think where I screwed up at was going to Frederick instead of Gaithersburg! I think that this is a very bad way to do business and I will never recommend fitzauto Mall to anyone or buy from them again GOOD or BAD credit!

I have a 2012 VW Sportwagen that is under warranty still. The check engine light came on and twice I tried to schedule an appointment to have it looked at. I wanted to bring it in on a Sat but they said they wouldn't run check engine light diagnostics on Saturdays. He said I could bring it into the shop but wouldn't guarantee me anything. So I decided I would call in during the week and schedule an appointment. If I bring it in during the week I would need a loaner to get to work. They told me because I didn't buy my car there; they wouldn't provide me a loaner car so i can get to work. These people are not very accommodating and I knew there was a reason I didn't buy my car from them to begin with.

UPON MY ARRIVAL, HE HAD THE VEHICLE READY AND WAITING FOR ME. KEVIN ENGLE, THE SALES MANAGER, HAD PROMISSED TO GIVE ME THE BEST TRADE-IN ALLOWANCE POSSIBLE AND HE KEPT HIS WORD. AFTER INSPECTING MY TRADE, KEVIN INCREASED THE VALUE OVER WHAT HE HAD PREVIOUSLY QUOTED. BOTH MEN WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND WORKED TO MAKE MY PURCHASE EXPERIENCE SATISFYING. IF I HAD TO SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT FITZGERALD, IT WOULD BE THAT THEY RUN THE NEW VEHICLES THROUGH AN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH. BAD IDEA! THIS LEFT SWIRLS AND SCRATCHES IN THE HOOD PAINT. UPON MY NOTIFICATION OF THIS TO KEVIN, HE IMMEDIATELY SENT THE CAR TO THE DETAIL SHOP AND THE PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED. KEVIN AND THOMAS EVEN BOUGHT MY LUNCH WHILE WE WAITED ON THE DETAIL SHOP. I found this car online and requested a price. Once we had settled on an out the door price, Justin was confident enough in it to send me a purchase order so I had written proof. The offer was fantastic, so great that no other dealer could come close to it. I gave him a call and told him I was coming in about 2 hours ahead, and he had the car ready. We were able to get the price we discussed, except for a minor adjustment of <$8 because of tax on a rebate, and everything went great. The car is exactly what I want and I could not be happier. It was well worth the 2 hour drive to Fitzgerald for me to get the car I want at the best price I could find across 2 states. Justin was extremely knowledgeable about the car, showing me every detail that I might want to know and made sure I was familiar with all the operations inside it.

Was in the market for a new hatchback and stopped in to Fitzgerald's to test drive a Mazda 3 5-door. Was greeted by Joe who, after a few questions and some info exchange, quickly grabbed the keys to one on the lot. He explained the features on the car and even compared it to other models/features from other manufacturers. I had already done a lot of research, but he was very knowledgeable, too. We drove both highway and back roads for about 30 minutes, chatting about other models we had or were going to test drive. Once we were done and we explained we were still in the early stages of looking, he gave us his card and said to call him with any questions. There was no pressure whatsoever.About a week later we called him back to see if the car was still available and if he would be there to discuss purchase details. He said he'd be there, so we stopped by. He explained the pricing and the Fitz packages. I already knew their pricing was the best after calling a few other dealers. The process was easy and friendly and took a little more than an hour. Once we had finished signing all the paperwork and the car had been detailed, Joe went through everything on the car and stayed past closing!Bottom line: I would go back to Fitzgerald's and ask for Joe Dunn when I'm ready for my next car.

I've purchased cars from this dealer in the past and the experience was always great. This time I went in for my first service visit and just as expected, the experience was also great. I dropped off my car and within minutes they had me in a loaner and on my way. The diagnostic and repair of a bad radiator took 24 hours. When I returned to the service center I was processed and on my way within 5 minutes. Again, everyone was very polite and professional.When I walked up to the car, I noticed that it was washed and detailed very thoroughly. The person who did it knew how to wash a car because there were no swirls or scratches in the paint.I opened the hood to inspect the cleanliness of the repair. The tech did a fantastic job on the replacement and the engine compartment was spotless. Given how messy of a job changing out a radiator is, this is a welcome surprise. I fully expected to have to clean out the engine bay on my own.I've been to other dealerships in my area and by far this dealer has done the best overall job. I will certainly go back in the future for service and purchases.

We also had a nice experience with the finance department who assisted us with all possible options of financing and even working in a repair warranty that was very affordable. These guys are very friendly,professional,courteous and knowledgeable and if they don't know the answer they will find it for you. To start with, I e-mailed the dealership on a day they were closed. Joe Dunn called me back within 20 minutes, interrupting his Sunday golf game to do so. So we were immediately pleased with his responsiveness. I explained that my wife was looking for a car and Joe answered some brief questions about financing. We met the next day to test drive the vehicle, and found it to be a truly pressure-free experience. Fitzgerald has a wonderful no-haggle concept which took a lot of the stress out of the process. We received a fair offer for my wife's trade-in. Out of curiosity, I inquired about having my own vehicle appraised. Surprised by the offer, we decided on impulse to purchase two new vehicles. I wish I could recall the name of the two finance employees we dealth with (I believe one might have been Sondra?). They were pleasant, explained how they were working to get us the best possible rates, and worked with us well after closing time to make the deals happen. Joe then gave us a tour of the features in our new vehicles. The next day, we realized that we had left an expensive bluetooth headset in one of our trade-in vehicles. Joe answered right away, explaining that he was out of the office but would have someone ready to assist us. He even sent a follow-up email the next day to make sure we had retrieved it. Having purchased 9 vehicles in the last 10 years, we have had many car buying experiences (positive and negative). Fitzgerald Frederick Mazda can have our business any day.

When I arrived to pick up the car, I was warmly greeted by Mr. Joe Dunn. Before a demonstration drive, Joe went over every detail of the Mazdaspeed3. During the demonstration drive, Joe patiently answered my questions and if I wasn't asking a question he remained silent. I so appreciated his silence so I could listen to the engine and fully concentrate on the responsiveness and feel of the car. Once back at the dealership, Joe covered the maintenance schedule, explained all of the features on the car, and introduced the Fitzgerald service department. Joe wouldnt let me go until he was assured that every feature of the car was explained and every question answered. Joe is also very personable, enjoys the automotive business, and is also an excellent representative for the Mazda brand and the Fitzgerald dealership.Joe ensured my purchase was smooth, timely, and that I was completely satisfied. On a scale of one to ten, this whole experience has been an eleven. I will be back and I will ensure my friends and business associates are aware of my buying experience. Mr. Dunn was courteous, friendly and very helpful. He did not pressure us and listened to our needs and considered our financial situation. In fact we were so pleased with the new car and service department, in May of the same year I was in need of a new car their was no hesitation to purchase another Mazda from Mr. Dunn. So far I have bought two new cars from Fitzgerald. I had good dealings with Chip when I bought my 2010 Mazda3 so when I was looking for another truck naturally I went back. Well my how things change when one person is no longer there. No Chip. It is the whole held hostage for hours thing as a good many other dealerships. Waste of my time. I thought after buying 2 new cars there I would have the same dealings but not the case. The truck that they showed me should have been to the auction block and cut their losses ASAP. 06 Chevy had 70,000 miles and can you say rust! Bottoms of doors,bottom of tailgate. Rust not little specks this was full blown metal separating corrosion. The sales manager was the slicked back hair type,and used all that types lines to make a sale. He did offer to have a body shop " fix " the rust but it would have just came back later after it was my problem,and my truck is in very nice condition. I was given the line, " we will give you a call when something better in your price range comes in " and to me that is like telling me my money is not good enough. Never heard from them again. Still driving my truck,just have the itch for something different. I get bored with a vehicle after a couple of years. Maybe I should just keep mine since I know what is being sold on car lots. I am not sure I would go back. Since they acted the same as many dealers do why bother driving 45 miles. Fitzgerald might have sold me their last car when Chip was sales manager. Two new cars and done!

The whole team at Fitzgerald managed our expectations really well. Best price around, fair trade in value and definately the best service. As a life long Honda owner it took another dissappointing interaction with our Honda dealer to look at another manufacturer. That is a big deal, we have owned five Honda's. From Sales to Financing it couldn't have been better. I am so impressed with these folks I am taking my Honda truck to Fitzgerald for future service. There really is no reason to shop anywhere else.

I went through the awful hell of dealing with nearby dealers in Northern Virginia before I followed my fiance's mother's advice and checked out the Fitzgerald Auto Mall's site. I was leery of buying a car in MD because I live in VA, both because driving all the way there would be a pain and because I was afraid of being double taxed for sales tax. However, I took the plunge after they sent me a price quote that included freight costs (about $795 and hidden by all other dealerships) and still priced my Mazda3 $600 lower than the one local Mazda dealership with a price even in the ballpark. Oh yeah, and their processing fee is $199, unlike $500 at dealerships in Northern Virginia.After professional, helpful and regular contact over the phone with Daniel Garfield, I went up there with my fiance for my test drive and, hopefully, to buy the car. 2 1/2 hours later (including the test drive, all paper work, and getting financing through Mazda to buy the car - I qualified for 0% and no down payment) I drove out with a huge grin on my face. Much like my Mazda3. The only thing I don't love is the smiley face fascia, but who cares. I can't see the car while I'm driving it.If I can help it I will never have contact with another dealership ever again, so long as Fitzgerald continues its business practices exactly as they are now. I would have never appreciated how great this experience was if I hadn't gone through all the prior BS with other dealerships. So by all means, try dealing with some other salesmen first, then go to Fitzgerald and actually buy your car for less money and less hassle.

I was looking for a better price for Mazda CX9 to fit my spending limits including taxes and fees and after visiting several dealerships that could not meet my requirements I came across the Fitzgerald Mazda in Annapolis on the Internet. I was pleased to get quick response from them with the exact price after all taxes and fees, that matched my need. Great experience! The managers were friendly and very helpful, it took only 30-40 minutes to do the paperwork and get my car on the road.

The service is consistently A+: professional, courteous, reliable, thorough, honest, top-notch repairs, fair price. And they always manage to come up with a loaner car so I can be on my way while my vehicle is being serviced.Sales is great too. Dealers for miles around struggle to match Fitzgerald's price and quality, used or new. Bought my Volkswagen (new) and my Acura (used) there; two of the best deals I've ever gotten.

On August 7th, my family and I were on our way to vacation around 8:30 a.m. Just as we were going to breakfast, my 2009 Traverse gave a light and saying that said "Losing engine power" I could not accelerate and had to pull off at a gas station. I called Fitzgerald and spoke to Tom in service for Chevrolet, he sent over a countesy van to pick us up so I could get a rental car until they could figure out what was wrong with my car. He also gave me the road side assistance number to call for a tow. We were able to get a car quickly and went to breakfast while the mechanic looked at my car. The tow was only about 45 minutes, which was great timing. We went back to Fitzgerald around 10:30 to wait to see what was wrong with my new car. At 11:00 Tom said it was the fuel injector and they had to send someone to get a part from Baltimore. We did not want to wait around and asked for a large enough rental vehicle, since my Traverse was piled high with beach stuff for a week's vacation. He said he would check, but didn't think the rental at Fitzgerald had anything big enough. Sure enough they did not, as we were talking the rental car place suggested talking to Lester the service manager to see what he could do for us. He called Enterprise and they had a van for us so we could get on the road to our vacation. He drove me to Enterprise and we were on the road by 12:30. Lester's friendliness and dedication to me as the customer was superb. He showed me that he cared about me and my family and the predictament we were in and went out of his way to make it a more satisfying day for us. Brent Johns was my salesman. We bought a 2010 Jetta Sportwagen TDI DSG, Blue Graphite paint, Titan Black interior, pano roof, etc... Brent was very friendly, honest and knowledgeable about the car. He directed me on a test drive route that gave me a chance to really get to know how the car handles (a little in town driving followed by a nice curvy backroad with a few straight places, then back to the dealer) while he pointed out various features of the car. He took his time with us and was patient and he was not at all pushy like some of the other dealers that I went to. After the sale, he took the time to go over all the features of the car with my wife who had not been present during the test drive and Brent even helped her connect her iPhone to the car's bluetooth interface. Brent was very considerate of our time and it was actually a pleasure to work with him. I can definitely recommend Brent and Fitzgerald VW to everyone I know. I will be going back to Brent and Fitzgerald when I am ready to buy my next VW (which will be another diesel) I got an unbelievably awesome price on the car that my wife and I love from a great dealership that prides themselves on building a relationship with their customers by providing the best service possible.

Service was ok, but they were unable to solve a check engine light code, even after replacing a part. As with most dealerships, they try to get you to buy additional services that you really need or want. Also, the prices are always atrocious at the dealerships, because that's where they make their money.

Can't say enough about how pleased we are with Fitzgerald Auto Mall. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly and we weren't kept at the dealership forever once we made our car decision. Rick Major was a great salesman and didn't pressure us at all and gave us more information than we even asked for concerning the used car we inquired about. Mr. Stickleman worked with us on financing and we got the car we wanted for the monthly payments we budgeted for. His great personality even made the financing part enjoyable! We were so impressed with the attention that we got at Fitzgerald. We will definitely be back when we need to purchase another vehicle.

I've never had any problem getting good service at Fitzgerald. They are always finding ways improve the customer experience. I've worked with almost every service rep but Mary Ann is the best. Not only does she do a great job but she'll go out of way to make sure the fine details are taken care of. She is very sweet and full of smiles. I always thought dealerships were very corporate and overpriced but Fitzgerald feels more like a extended family that is willing to take care of all your needs from start to finish.

I spoke with another Camaro owner in August, (ran him down in a parking lot just to get a look at his car). I told him that I had one on order with *** *****. He told me about his experience with them (WKs unwillingness to commit to a price on the car), and referred me to Fitzgeralds and June Rutkay. His wife made the comment that June was wonderful. Since I live in Columbia and work in DC, I was not able to make it up to Frederick during the week so she turned the process over to Rick Major.I have to say that they were both very competent in dealing with me, and the one thing that I really liked the most, was that they acted like real people. Both have great personalities. I knew from the start that this experience was going to be a complete change from what I had experienced in the past when buying a car. You have some really great assets in Rick and June. Hang on to them if you can!!

I bought a used sebring convertible I have only put 4,000 miles on the car and in fact had only driven the car for 3 months, since I bought it at the end of the summer last year. The CD player never worked and recently the check engine light came on. When I took in the car for service I was told I had to pay $260.00 or a purge selluliod. I am not happy about this at all I have bought 2 cars from fitzgerald one new, one used.....Considering I had only put a few miles on the car and had only had it for 5 months I was very disapointed with the service I recieved. I for one would not reccommed buying a used car from fitzgerald they obviously do not stand behind the used cars they sell. When I asked about the warranty this of course was not covered........convieniently enough, and although this may seem like a small charge, since I am still paying for the car it really ticks me off! I have been purchasing cars for 40 years and this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. No pressure and Jeffery new everything about the SAAB 9*3 I wanted to buy.Everyone went out of there way to make my experience enjoyable. After the sale Jeffery introduced me to my contact for service and all the service people were just as nice as the sales force.Finally because it was January I purchased the car with some very good rebates. Fitzgerald Auto Mall was the only SAAB dealer in my area that posts there vehicles with options and prices on the internet no "call us for a quote" nonsense.

I bought a 2004 dakota drove it for approx 1000mles noticed a miss and hesitation at about 1500 thru 2000rpms. brought it in for service. they had it for two day replaced various item. when I drove it out the problem was still there brought the vehicle back they had it for a week. I was advised that the problem was related to a computer flaw, and it need a new "flash" program. Chrysler was advised and they acknowledged the problem, but had no idea when a new program would be avalable. After agruing that the vehicle was defective and unrepairable, The dealer finally agreed to do something. **very important note. They checked the other type vehicles on their lot, magnum 6cyliner with auto transmission, and they all had he same malfuntion. But they have no intention of removing them from sale. What I wound up with was a $4,000. more expensive truck and an increased monthly payment of $92.00. I felt that Something was not right, I got hold of the finance manager to get a figure on what negative equity I was being charged for the defective vehicle, thats right they said becaused the truck was used there was negative equity. Much to my suprise, they claimed the truck that had a problem acknowledeged by chrysler, and the service manager, which could not be fixed, less then a month old with 2964 miles, had lost $4,200.00 in value! And to top it off, they toook a$3,500 rebate that should have been applied to the new vehicle that would in fact have put my payments more in line with the first vehicle, and applied to the inflated negative equity still leaving this defective vehicle $1,200 in the red. the virtully stole my rebate and spun back to them. These guy are nothing but well trained liars and cheats stay away from this dealership. There isnt an ounce of truth with any of these guys. An agereement was finally reached only after I made it known that I as aware of the deceitful ,slezay, underhanded way they do business. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER
