Quick service, staff was very friendly and welcoming. They did everything they could to make the wait comfortable. Snacks and refreshments were offered. Beautiful waiting area and child playroom was nice as well. My kids enjoyed themselves and were kept occupied. Service didn’t take long at all. I felt like I was in and out. I will definitely return in the future. 🙂

So my experience visiting this dealership for regular maintenance work has been great. But what really has shined through was the exceptional treatment I received when confronting sales. Ajay was very patient with trying to help me find what I was looking. Anthony really sealed it for me with how straightforward and easy going he was when handling my lease. The customer service was great. Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the guy who greeted customers as we came in but he was superb. He was kind and courteous when dealing with me. He showed a level of respect that was greatly appreciated. I was coming in to have a recall issue fixed but the issue was not resolved and I have to go back otherwise this would have been the perfect experience.

My visit with Lyle and the team at Gerald Kia in Naperville was outstanding. Despite having to work the eve of a holiday (Thanksgiving), the spirits of all associates I had spoken with and seen throughout the dealership were very high. Throughout my visit, the environment was very friendly from stepping out of my own personal vehicle after pulling into the lot. Lyle as a sales associate was very thoughtful, kind, and respectful. After visiting with him at Gerald Kia in Naperville, I believe he has REDEFINED my car buying experience and replaced a very negative connotation I typically associate with car buying based on previous treatment at multiple other dealerships to a likeness of someone who doesn't only care about the money on the table but how comfortable I am with all of my decisions. My time spent there was a bit longer than I had liked but ultimately resulted in getting me in the EXACT car I wanted at a price that was below even my own expectations! After visiting with Lyle and the team at Gerald Kia in Naperville, I left feeling not only like I had gotten a great car but like I had become part of a family and would be treated as such for many visits to come. I plan to recommended not only Lyle as my number one associate to work with but Gerald Kia in Naperville to any and all of my friends and family as my experience was unmatched in effort from anywhere else I have ever been. Typically reviews are something I hate taking time to do unless the experience is really bad, but this is a first that I believe they have earned the review for all positive reasons. My mother & I walked into Gerald Kia Naperville with our guards up & ready to get the whole car shopping experience over with by that time. We had already visited at least 5 other Kia dealerships which were a complete waste of time. We were greeted at the door by Rob Elwin and was very specific on what we were looking for & Rob steered us in the right direction. Although the car I had in mind was a little out of my budget I was still hoping that some how I could walk out of that dealership with the car that I wanted along with all the bells and whistles while still staying within my budget. Long story short that didn't happen, Rob left the desk and said he would be right back, a couple of minutes later my mom saw Rob pull up on the side of the building with this car that I knew was out of my budget, "that's for another customer" I said. Well here comes Rob with this huge smile on his face, "I saw that your spirits were a little down, but I think you're going to love this car" Rob was right, this car was so top of the line that I still can't believe it's actually mine! I puposely did not even mention this model of car because of the price, but this dealership worked out one of the best deals that I could've hope for, I literally drove off the lot feeling like a million dollars. The staff and atmosphere was very nice & welcoming, I would definetly recommend this dealership and Rob Elwin anyday!

My wife and I were in the market for a new people mover after our 2008 Sienna required a repair that almost totaled its value and a newly purchased 2014 which had new seats that did not agree with my wife's tailbone. After 4 weeks and test driving every mini-van and SUV in the market we decided on the spur of the moment to check out the Kia Sedona. We are so lucky we did! The only thing that matched the quality of the car for the money was our experience working with Lyle Caputo (sales), Brian Lieser (sales manager) and Michael Johnson (finance)! I have never had a car purchasing decision that went as smooth as it did working with Lyle. From the moment we started talking about models and trims and features we were out test driving the car. Because my wife needed an extended drive to test out the seat for her tailbone they let us take it overnight and into the next morning to ensure this was the right vehicle for her. Not only was the seat the most comfortable in its class it also has fantastic reviews from multiple online and researched sources putting it into the class of a Sienna and Odysessy but better from my opinion and others! Brian worked with us on the trade-in price for our 3 week pre-certified Sienna and they offered us competitive pricing for the Sedona! He was upfront with what he could get for our old car and how much he was in for the CPO Sedona! My son LOVED the upscale and modern conveniences of the dealership as much as I did! There is a game room, great TV waiting area, Starbucks machine and free snacks and popcorn! The people at the dealership are all nice and accommodating and my research on the quality of Kia's and my experience at this dealership made me a lifetime customer. I am excited to bring this car back for its regularly scheduled services! And Michael in finance easily navigated me through the finance process and gave me a great deal on their 10 YR / 100K miles 5 star wrap warranty! And did I say Gerald Kia of Naperville offers a lifetime limited powertrain warranty????We highly recommend this dealership!

When I walked through the doors of Gerald Kia, Quentin Stanley took on me and mom and gave us the best car buying experience ever! Quentin went above and beyond to make sure I found the car that was right for me. He was very professional yet very down to earth. Quentin was very patient with my mom & I and carefully listened and accommodated my needs and wants for my first vehicle. Quentin was very clear and upfront about everything pertaining to my vehicle of interest. Dave was helpful in recommending which of the 4 uncovered services, I should get now & which could wait. I arrived to have my oil changed, as well as a couple of other services, and was told that it would be 1.5 hours. I needed to go the the DMG building, about 1/2 mile away. Steve summoned one of the porters to give me a ride, and when I was finished, I walked back to Gerald Kia-thanks for helping me make the most of my time.

I convinced my parents to stop by Gerald Kia in Naperville after searching for a car for over a year. Quentin greeted us with a smile and welcomed us to Gerald. Quentin was knowledgeable and patient and helped my parents find the perfect car. We actual didn't intend to buy that day but the stars must have been aligned. Following a car accident where my car was totaled my boyfriend and I were headed to the Cheverolet dealer in the area when I saw a Kia and mentioned that I liked the look of a Soul. We were droping off some items at Goodwill and he googled the closest Kia Dealer and we stoped in. Our sales Consultant, Ervin Memushaj met us in the parking lot. He was courdious and friendly. Not pushy in the least. Long story short I ended up buying from Gerald Kia. Outstanding experience from begining to end and I absolutely LOVE my New Kia!

I came into the KIA dealership after my car of eight years went out on me. As I was walking through the parking lot my husband and I were approached by Quentin. He asked what our wants were in a car. I normally don't like talking to sales reps because they try to force their thoughts of certain vehicles on you but Quentin was different. He listened to my wants and gave us SEVERAL options. He was very friendly and very honest about the different options we had. I didn't really see him a sales guy anymore but as someone who had my best interest in mind. I would recommend that anyone looking for a GREAT person and GREAT car to stop by and see Quentin.

My experience was great. Everyone was so friendly. I needed to get my key fob programmed and key cut. They also made time to give me an oil change although I didn't even mention it on the phone. It was great service and didn't take long at all! They gave me an estimation on how long it would take, and they were even done before that.

I haven't had such a great experience since I purchased a BMW years ago. I was treated respect and felt that I was just as important as any other customer looking for a vehicle. Everyone that I came in contact with was extremely kind, fun, and funny, which is just how I am. Muhammand was Great!! He in no way was pushy, he wanted me to get exactly what I wanted with a payment that I was comfortable with. The process was easy and none stressful. With the help of my Super Team Muhammad Khan, Anthony Triner, and Gino Tairi I got the vehicle I came in for, with more upgrades than I thought I would have been able to have. I feel like I bought a car from a good friends. They took care of me and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING FROM GERALD KIA OF NAPERVILLE. THIS IS AN HONEST POST BASED ON MY NEW CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE. THE REVIEW IS LONG BUT WORTH EVERY DETAIL. WILL NEVER PERFORM BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN.I wrote this review to inform the public of my new car purchase experience from Gerald Kia of Naperville on January 23, 2016. It has been quite some time since the purchase date but I feel it is very important for consumers to be aware of the unprofessional sales tactics conducted by Gerald Kia of Naperville. Im not one to write reviews or to complain but simply want people to be informed of this unfortunate experience and hope it can help prevent it from happening to other consumers. Prior to my arrival at Gerald Kia of Naperville I had been working with Tremain White (Online Sales Manager) by email since December 2015 for the most aggressive quote on a new 2015 Optima SXL. Tremain and Melissa Laxton (both online sales manager) provided me the same quote for this exact vehicle with a sales price of $29, 407.00 before tax, title, license and doc fee. Their quote included the $2500 manufacture rebate and dealer discounts for year-end savings on the outing model. To confirm the sales price I emailed Tremain several times to make sure the price was 100% accurate and the dealership would honor the price without any last minute changes. I also inquired about my eligibility to receive the $500 loyalty rebate for current Kia Optima owners and Tremain mentioned as long as Im eligible for the rebate, it would be taken off the sales price of $29,407 bringing the price to $28,907. Tremain also confirmed on 1/23/16 the sales price is accurate and the vehicle does include a remote start system for $28,907.00.The final purchase price Tremain quoted for this vehicle was eventually honored at the dealership; however, the available Optima SXL did not include the remote start as promised and the sales consultant was extremely unprofessional (Please keep reading). Upon arrival to Gerald Kia Tremain instructed me to meet with a general sales manager and they will be aware of this deal, but this was not the case. As soon as my wife and I arrived we were greeted by Adrijan Tairi. I introduced myself and immediately informed Adrian I had been working with Tremain White via email and was to meet with a general sales manager. I asked Adrian if he was a sales manager and he replied, Yes and brought us to his desk. Without thinking twice I assumed Adrijan was a sales manager since he stated he was, but later figured out he was not after reading his business card on his desk titled sales consultant. I provided Adrijan with documentation for the price of $28,907 that Tremain had quoted me on. Adrijan left his desk and came back with a price written on paper exceeding $30,000 (before tax, title, license, doc fee). After I again showed him the email documentation I brought he left his desk a second time. At this point my frustration began to increase as the whole idea of my time and energy spent talking to Tremain the past 2 months was to avoid the back and forth negotiation at the dealership. I walked over to where Adrian was located and questioned if he truly was a sales manager and he stated No, Im sorry. I informed him he had 5 minutes to match the quote from Tremain or my wife and I would leave. Adrijan met us back at his desk and provided us the sales price of $29,407.00 but it did not include the $500 loyalty rebate which was mentioned several times by me and highlighted in the printed email. He explained the price reflected all discounts and both rebates ($2500 rebate & $500 loyalty rebate) but it clearly did not. I extended my hand to Adrijan and said thank you for your time and proceeded to leave. Adrijan questioned why I was leaving and said I fought for you to get this price. Adrians remark was clearly false as well as an INSULT since I worked with Tremain White for the sales price. I was so disgusted with our experience my wife and I put our coats on and proceeded to leave. After exiting the dealership a sales manager by the name of Gino Tairi stopped us outside by our car and asked what is wrong. I explained to Gino the sales price of the vehicle received from Adrian did not include the $500 loyalty rebate, remote start and Adrijan LIED that he was a sales manager. (The Sales manager completely ignored the fact his employee lied about professional positon). Gino Tairi reviewed the printed email conversation I had brought between Tremain and I. Gino said he would include the $500 rebate to the discounted price of $29,407 bringing it down to $28,907.00. I informed Gino that the remote start is supposed to be included in the sales price as stated in the email by Tremain White. This is the direct response from Tremain White in his email on 1/23/16 at 10:17am: The pricing youve disclosed is the price that includes remote start on the 2015 Kia Optima SX-L White with black leather Nappa interior. What time are you liking to satisfy your new vehicle purchase today. Gino Tairi honored the sales price and I decided to proceed with the purchase of the vehicle. I then met with Adrian again and the sales price was corrected (Should have requested different sales representative). Since the only vehicle with remote start was a dealer demo (with at least 3,000 miles already on it) and having one installed would be an additional charge for me (exceeding the sale price of $29,407), I opted out having the remote start system installed at time of sale. Gino said the remote start would have to be an additional charge of $599.00 and thats the best he can do. I somehow proceeded with the purchase and finalized the required paperwork. I should had left at this point and never purchased the vehicle but my mindset was elsewhere.I also found it disheartening that I was NOT approached by ANY SALES MANAGER at the end of our purchase, to apologize for the frustration we had to endure and to thank my wife and I for our business. Based on my experience at Gerald Kia of Naperville I hope one would understand my frustration and why I took time to make write this review. I have now taken my free time from work and away from my family to express my dissatisfaction about this dealership. At first I was thrilled to purchase a brand new car. However after my negative encounter with the employees from Gerald Kia of Naperville, this has drained the enjoyment out of this experience. I have also forwarded my complaint to Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of Illinois. After reflecting on this disheartening experience I realized my biggest mistake was not walking away after being lied to by the sales consultant Adrijan Tairi. There were several red flags through this unbearable experience which my business should have been taken elsewhere. No one deserves to be misled, lied to and treated unfairly when buying a new car. If you ever end up in a situation like this, please walk away and bring your business elsewhere. Do your research and read reviews about car dealerships from multiple consumer review sources. Also, review the sales representatives last names as politics most likely played a role in my experience. Since I submitted this review/complaint to the general sales manager Anthony Triner, I have received a remote start system as promised by the online sales manager at no additional charge. However, the process and poor attention to detail performed by the auto technicians left my vehicle damaged and not repaired properly on two separate occasions since my initial purchase. The damage was finally repaired but as you can imagine this has made for the most unpleasant purchase experience ever.

I can not tell you what a pleasure it was to work with Quentin Stanley. I had already done my homework on the car I was interested in. What a difference in a knowledgable and personable sales associate he was. I had visited another dealership closer to my home and I seemed to know more about the car then the associate there. We had a great experience at Gerald Kia in Naperville. We had researched the Sedona minivan and were sure we wanted it. It had a lot of room, reclining middle row seats, and adaptive cruise control. We wanted to make an even swap for our current car. The sales staff went out of their way to make the deal happen. We also wanted the titanium bronze color, but they didn't have one available for us, so the sales manager made a few calls and was able to get one delivered the next day. We left the dealership very happy customers!

He was so personable and engaging, fun to talk to, and made the discussion about the car so easy. The 2017 Sportage spoke for itself, but we kept going back to how much we enjoyed Quentin's personality. It really played a part in our choice. So... we went in to purchase a KIA Sorrento. Drove it, loved it but was heartbroken to discover that there just wasn't enough room for it to make sense for our family. That's when Super-Sales-Guy, Lyle, stepped in. He suggested taking a look at the KIA Sedona. I was AGHAST! ME? In a MINI-van??? (I had, you see, heretofore, vehemently sworn that I would never purchase or drive a MINI Van!). He talked us through the many features the Sedona offers while walking us over to the quite lovely model sitting on the showroom floor. After some lengthy discussion, I grudgingly admitted that this was quite a lovely car with TONS of options and OODLES of room. "Ok," said I, "I'll take one for a spin". Lyle had, of course, already made this suggestion and was off like a shot to pull one up for us. I have to tell you, I was sold two miles down the road! She drives like a dream, the features ARE killer, the space is just amazing (the Sedona COMFORTABLY seats 8 people with tons of space left in the back for storage). When the Naperville location did not have the color I wanted, once again - Lyle was off to the Aurora location to secure the Midnight Sapphire Kia Sedona that I now call, "My Baby". Although there was some haggling over price - it wasn't TOO painful and my husband and I were both pleased with the end result. MJ handled the financial "closing" of our new baby for us and he was just as knowledgeable, helpful and friendly as Lyle had been. Even more importantly, he had us in and out of "signing our lives away" in 15 minutes flat! Thank you, MJ! Overall, we had a great experience. We love the Car. We LOVE the warranty and we are confident that Gerald KIA will take care of any service needs that we have in the future. Well done guys! You made a believer out of me!

My wife and I first came in on 8/10 looking to replace her car (which she really disliked). We had no intention of purchasing and were just looking to see what would be a good fit at a good price. We were lucky enough to get Quentin as our sales rep. He was a blast to work with and his attitude was very refreshing and down to earth. He answered all my questions and understood our situation. In the end, my wife drove away with a Kia Optima that she loves. Q made her day and made the whole car buying process fun. I came back in 8/15 to look at a Cadenza Q and I had previously discussed. After sitting down with him for about 7 minutes I was buying another car. Q and his management gave me an offer that I couldn't refuse. It is refreshing to see that there are still reps out there that value the customer over the deal. There was no pressure from Q or management throughout the entire 2 buying processes. I met Matt Vega several months ago. This was my first time stepping into a dealership alone and was nervous about having to go through the daunting process that one usually expects. That said, I felt rushed and could not think about all the decisions and choices I was asked to make on the spot. Buying a car is a big invesrment and I would like to suggest that some options, like gap and protection should be discussed earlier in the buying process at all dealerships. WHERE DO I BEGIN?!? Got hosed over by the Gerald Kia in N. Aurora. Hubby said "just call the one in Naperville just to see".. so I did. Got ahold of "MJ", Michael Johnson. This man saved my life, and my money. He did extensive research on what I was lied to about at the N. Aurora location. Not only did he clear the air, but he got me in the vehicle that I WANTED, oh, and for lower monthly payments than what I was being told at the other place. He took the time to walk us through everything, knew ahead of time we had our children with so handled everything respectfully and expeditiously and with a smile on his face! VERY friendly and exceptional customer service. Not only was MJ a wonderful person to work for, but I MUST throw a huge Thank you to Tremain White! He was very helpful, answered any questions we had, super friendly, and funny. My little girl was playing with the fan, and even tried to pick-pocket him for his phone! (I swear we aren't raising her that way, but it WAS funny!) The overall atmosphere of the building was clean, crisp, yet family-friendly. The management team and ALL employees were wonderful people!! I would definitely check them out prior to going to Aurora. I may have gotten a new employee over there, but they shouldn't leave new ones to gain a customer unless they are 100% knowledgeable.

We in the market to buy a car that day and we went to another KIA dealership. The salesman was just a piece a garbage, basically took us to the car we were interested in and stood there. He didn't show us any of the features nothing. So we just walked out and when we were leaving, he told us we would be back. The moment we walked into Gerald KIA, Jon opened the door for us and greeted us right away. He really helped us, showed us all the features of the car and helped us decide what features were important to us so that we could figure out what trim style we wanted on our new car. Jon really was awesome! He went way above and beyond to help us and really made us feel like we made the right choice. You can tell Gerald KIA wants to make you a long term client and how well they treat all their clients, not just sell you a car and take your money. Gerald KIA took such great care of us and really made this the BEST car buying experience we ever had. It's in all the little details they provided. Not to mention their waiting area for the service department is so "Zen" like. No one wants to take their car into the shop, but I really won't mind hanging out in that waiting room for my car.

My brother bought a vehicle from the Gerald Kia of Naperville on May 28, 2016. There was an issue with the original contract that required my brother to return a few days later to resign a new contract. At this time I became involved in the transaction. We returned to the dealership June 1st. This is when I met Anthony Triner (General Manager). We began to discuss the problem with the old contract. The purchase price for the vehicle was advertised at $14, 777. The contract had the vehicle selling for $15,777. This was a difference of $1,000. Another issue with the contract was that a down payment of $3,000 was applied towards the car but the written contract stated it was only $2,000. I asked Mr. Triner how these mistakes could have happened and he couldn't give me a straight answer. After arguing and discussing for over 3 1/2 hours, we left the dealership with a new contract that had the agreed upon terms. As my family and I were leaving the dealership, Mr Triner came to our cars and apologized. However, at no time did he admit that he made a mistake for the transaction. This is especially poignant as to raising the cost of the vehicle $1,000 over the advertised price and the mistake on the down payment. Later that night I researched the Gerald auto group company to find a corporate employe. I found the email address of a district manager and made her aware of my concerns. She forward my email to the owner of Geral auto group. The next morning I received a call from Mr. Triner apologizing for the way the transaction was handled. He also included an extended warranty free of charge. I thanked Mr. Triner for calling me and told him that I would speak to my brother about the new offer. I then received another call later that evening from Mr. Doug Gerald the owner of Gerald Auto Group. We spoke for about 15 mins and Mr. Gerald made it right. He answered all of my questions and asked what my family wanted to make it right. I told him that we would take Mr. Triners offer and that we appreciated him taking the time to make things right. My family and I felt closure after speaking with Mr. Gerald. We have a history buying vehicles from Gerald Auto and will continue doing business because of the leadership of this company.

He made me feel comfortable and at ease - especially when buying a car can be stressful. My experience was great because Mr. Quentin Stanely was great! I can to the dealership to look at vehicles. I had done my homework and I new EXACTLY what I wanted. Mr. Stanely had met me and my father our in the car lot. We got to talking and decided to test drive some different vehicles. I really appreciated the fact that he let me tell him what I wanted and needed and he simply asked questions to narrow down what was best for me. He made me feel comfortable and my father as well. Which is extremely hard to do. I truly appreciated how personable he was. I can honestly say that I'd come back to him EVERY and ANY TIME I may need a new vehicle. My sales person, Mike, was very professional, laid back, and understanding of my situation. He came highly recommended by a close friend, and now I know why. He was easy to get in contact with, even with my difficult schedule. When we arrived he was prepared for us with the financing information, future options, and a car ready in the parking lot to test drive. I was offered very competitive financing compared to the previous bank I was considering from the bank at another dealership. My children got out of school and had to wait while we finished insurance and paperwork, but Mike made sure they had snacks and drinks and had cartoons on for them so I could finish up without stressing! Everyone working was friendly, welcoming, and had a smile on their face. The process was so quick compared to my past car buying experiences, and Mike followed up with me several times after the purchase to ensure I was happy!

This was our first time buying from this dealership. Suzie was the best car sales person I have ever worked with. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She showed us all the features of the Sorento we were interested in. I wanted to show my wife the color of the vehicle, so I asked if we could test drive the car to my home. Suzie said no problem. My wife was surprised and test drove it herself. She absolutely loved the Sorento. We ended up buying the Sorento SX in a different color. The dealership was able to quickly find the right color and got the vehicle the next business day. We went through the sales process quickly and efficiently with Ryan Bravi, the Finance Manager. He did his best to move the process along. His part was excellent. The only disappointment was waiting on the financial part-and we paid cash. But all combined, the dealership personnel was friendly and helpful.

I was a first time buyer and every where else that I would go turned me away because of my request for a low down payment, the monthly payments I could afford, with the type of car I expected. But when I walked into Gerald Kia of Naperville I was not turned away at all, not even because my expectations were sky high. Quentin was absolutely amazing, he felt like family literally! He listened to everything I needed and wanted. He crunched numbers and crunched numbers again to get me to the price I was comfortable with and that was affordable! Plus I got a car that I absolutely adore! Quentin made sure I was okay and satisfied with every decision. He was very professional and straight to the point. Never once did he say "no" or "that's impossible." Everything was possible in his eyes which made everything possible in my eyes. Everyone was super nice and said hello when you walked past and once everything was finalized everyone congraulated me! It was honestly the best feeling. If or when I ever decide to purchase a another car Gerald Kia of Naperville with Quentin, is the only place I will be going. I've been reccomending it to so many of my friends and always will! They are the best, especially for first time buyers!

My mom and I was just browsing for a car for me and not really looking for a car. We saw a a car ad that had a low price for a car we were looking at. Once we were there that's when we met Suzie. Suzie was so nice and took real good car of us her and the staff. She was so nice and bubbly to my mom and I and we just felt so welcomed. Before she took us to the car on the ad, she let us take a look at the Tayota Yaris that had just came in to the shop and she let me take it out for a drive on it and it was so amazing. i love the way how i was driving it so comfortably. After taking it out for a drive, she then let us look at the car on the ad and it was not what i was expecting when i saw it. But after she was telling good things about the Yaris and my mom and i was sold on to get it. And here i am a year later with my first car :) and i still wasnt to thank Suzie for this good car.

After reviewing the cars and brands that met my needs/wants in a vehicle, I focused on those which received high marks from auto review sources, from there I narrowed down to Kia Optima and two other options. After looking and test driving each, the Kia Optima was the best choice for me, and the team at Gerald did a great job of getting the vehicle I wanted at a good price. I had been looking for quite some time for a new vehicle. I stumbled across my Optima on the Gerald Kia website, and immediately called about it. I was put in touch with Suzie and from the very first moments I was on the phone up until the purchase of the vehicle it was an amazing experience. Suzie immediately went and found the car and texted me pictures of it because there were none available on the website other than the stock photos. The only hiccup was that the engine was being replaced due to the previous owners misuse of the vehicle. I had a wedding that weekend, so I was unable to see the vehicle immediately. When I arrived to look at the vehicle I was not rushed, or looked at as "another sale" as so many dealerships had done previously. I had not planned on purchasing the vehicle that day, but the way I was treat by Suzie, and the rest of the staff I was involved with I did. Due to the car being in service, I was given the exact same car as a loaner. I was kept informed every step of the way while the car was being repaired, receiving texts or calls from Suzie every other day to keep me updated. When the car was delivered about a week later, Suzie went over absolutely everything, I would not let me leave until I was confident I knew how to operate my new car without a question! Overall, this was the single greatest customer service experience, and that is all thanks to Suzie and the staff at Gerald Kia Naperville!

My family came in very late to compare the Kia Forte with a car we looked at earlier. To be honest I wasn't so sure how Kia would do. Michael came right up to us and asked if we knew what we were looking for. I told him what we were looking for in a car for our daughter. Michael, repeated it to me and went and found us a Forte EX on the lot that had what we wanted. It is a BEAUTIFUL car. It drove so nicely. We started to talk about price. We got a great deal. My husband and I have bought from Kia Naperville a couple times. Our 2014 Salesman was ok but had issues listening to what we really wanted from a vehicle. Our Salesman this time (Jon) was VERY good with listening to what we wanted and didn't want in a vehicle and went out of his way to find the one vehicle on the lot that we wanted. While we were waiting for them to checkout the 2014 Soul, he did talk to us about other vehicles and what the current deals were, but he wasn't pushing it on us. He wanted us to know what type of pricing was out there if we wanted to do something different.I am hoping he is there when we go back in a few years when our lease is up.I should also mention that everyone else that was at the store was very nice too. When Jon was checking on things, we had a few other Kia employees checking to see if we needed anything. AND I saw a lot of positive employee to employee interactions. You don't see that too often anymore.

Our first two visits to Gerald Kia ended up less than ideal. Troubles during negotiation and financing led to us walking out of a deal right at the very last step. Our third visit, however, completely changed my opinion of the dealership. Jon Mock contacted us, and made an effort to salvage the deal that had fallen apart before, all the while being personable and very helpful. We agreed on a price, came in to look at the car, sign paperwork, and we were done. I honestly couldn't have asked for a smoother experience. Its a shame that this only came through on our third visit, but regardless of those past experiences, I was very happy finally buying a car through Gerald Kia of Naperville, all with the help of Jon Mock.

I just bought my car last weekend after a three month search. I came to Kia in October and met Mike Nielsen. He gave me his word that he'd help me find the right car and he 100% followed through. I used true car to help with the pricing. I do feel that the true car pricing shouldn't include discounts for AAA memberships, recent graduates, etc. since not everyone qualifies for those sort of discounts. There was some initial confusion because I thought the car I was purchasing had all of the accessories I had picked with True Car. Although I didn't get ALL of the accessories I wanted, I did get most of them.Adrian was very helpful both during and after the purchase of my car. I didn't have time for him to show me all of the features of the new car when I purchased it; however, I came back over the weekend and Adrian took the time to go over the features with me even though he had already made the sale. To me, this shows a commitment to customer satisfaction that is more than most sales people have.

I bought a Kia Forte 2015 last year with the help of Quin Stanley and Gio from financing and I returned last week to get my son a car. At the time I bought my car my credit score wasn't great so I knew my options were very limited Quin did his magic and put me in a 2015 and Gio worked the numbers and brought my payments down to where I could afford to take this car home. It felt so good driving home with a car I loved and not a car I was only allowed to choose from. My son's experience was the same, after jumping in one car to another he finally found one that fit him and he is very happy and pleased with the attention and service he got from Quin and Gio. Let me not forget the service guy called Dave, the car had a minor glitch he fixed my son's Bluetooth at no extra charge he was very professional, in my son's words "Beautiful" is all he could say from his experience at the Naperville dealer. This Dealer is on top of there game because they are a perfect team they know how to treat a customer their never pushy and most of all they are honest. By going through TrueCar.com, Gerald was the only one that had the used model we wanted at the right price. (Many other dealers didn't even have any cars we wanted at all!) Melossa was extremely prompt and Wuentin both greeted us warmly, and then took care of us when we needed it. He was warm, friendly, comfortable and inclusive with my wife and me both. Even though we live on 'dealer row' in Schaumburg, it was so worth it to come down to Naperville! We hope to see Quentin again someday!

When I explained what my problem was, and it was a lengthy story involving another Kia service department, they listened and recommended a few ways of doing my service. In the end, the other Kia service department appeared to not know what they were talking about and were obviously trying to "upsell" me. We are so thankful that the service men at Gerald were very honest and tried their best to keep our costs down. In the end, your service department has saved us over $1,000.00 in repairs, and we could not be happier. In this economy these days, that is a huge sum of money to not have to spend right now. I am sorry to say that Suzie did not make a sale on a new Forte that we were looking at, but if it had not been for her we probably would have gone to another dealer. She was wonderful to deal with, and we just decided to try to repair the car first. She wasn't kidding when she said your service department was great. We went to Gerald KIA for a second car and we were not disappointed. We met with Mr. Michael Nielsen and he understood our needs and helped find us the perfect car based on our budget. During the day, the time for noon prayers came by and the service center provided me with a quite area to offer my prayers. Now they did not have to do this but they still did and it is little things like this that I appreciate. We drove away with a 2015 KIA Forte all too pleased. We will certainly shop for KIA again and we are around this area, we will come back to this location.

I told Quentin exactly what I was looking for and he was extremely attentive and helpful. When I came into the dealership, Quentin had the car and the paperwork ready to go for me. There is a reason that the car I drove home last week was the 9th vehicle purchased from Gerald Kia of Naperville by the members of my immediate family... This location was able to get me in to perform the brake light switch recall more quickly than any other Kia dealer. Being my brake lights were not working, this was VERY important. Mike listened to what our wants and needs were. He also made sure that we stayed in our budget which is very important. Mike is very knowledgeable about Kias and has excellent customer care and customer satisfaction. We are very happy with our Optima and Sorento. I went in looking for a specific model, the options I wanted, and the price I wanted to pay with my True Car information. I worked with Mike Nielsen and it was a straight forward deal, no game playing (except for the last push by the finance manager) and was out with a new car in just a few hours. I called the dealership ahead of time and spoke with Mike Nielsen. Told him what I was looking for. When I got there, Mike was immediately available. He knew exactly what I was looking for and he delivered. Mike and Ken both took their time to explain my financing options. Suzie, our salesperson, was extremely thorough with everything. It is evident that she is very knowledgeable. She was very patient and did not rush through anything. Suzie even continued to explain more details before we drove off with the minivan. It was my first experience purchasing a car and I didn't know that the entire process takes that long. Anthony Triner listened closely to my initial call, had the requested exterior and interior color K900 prepped and ready to go when I arrived. He reviewed my spreadsheet, provided the necessary numbers and clearly understood the variables in the comparison. He was, and continues to be, available to address concerns. Suzie Gonnerman was excellent at explaining the K900 features and helping me to quickly get an understanding of how the K900 compared and contrasted with my current Lexus LS430 and the GS350 that was considering. For those few I had questions that neither Anthony and/or Suzie could answer immediately, they told me so and got the answers within minutes! Suzie took great care to allay my concerns about leaving the sales/service team I had cultivated at Lexus of Naperville over the eight years that I was with them. She introduced me to Dave Chastain and Steve Hammerquist and left me alone with each of them to get comfortable with how we might work together. Both Dave and Steve came across as personable and devoted to superior service. All of the time Suzie was there shepherding me through the process that I demanded to satisfy my concerns and address my requirements. She and Anthony adapted very well during the five day exercise. Joe Khalil did a thorough job of explaining the documents that I had to sign and the options available to me. Lastly, the new facility very effectively supports the perception of quality service and customer care at a level competitive with Lexus, BMW, Mercedes Benz and any of the numerous dealers in the area. The Gerald Auto Group management should be very proud of the quality team they have empowered at Naperville Kia.

Great experience at Gerald Kia of Naperville. My husband and I walked into Gerald Kia the day after the storm in February of 2015 "just to look" and had the pleasure of working with Suzie Gonnerman. It was refreshing to work with someone who was so outgoing and knowledgeable, and who had a pleasant demeanor even after having to dig out of the snow. We appreciated that there were no pushy sales tactics and that the staff was so accommodating. It was a pleasant experience overall -- even going through the financing portion of the deal (thanks for working with us for that great deal). Thank you Suzie and Gerald Kia. P.S. I also appreciate the amenities and comfort your store offers while your clients are waiting for their cars to be serviced.

When we pulled up Quentin Stanley was right there, and we were so glad he was. As a military spouse with cancer and a husband being deployed in a few months as well as our 2011 Kia Sorento being totaled, we needed a dependable replacement. I was full of smiles as Quentin Stanley and his team worked diligently to get me the car I love. They made a wish come true. They also made my hubby wish come true by giving him the numbers he needed. A "just look and see" visit became a "I love my new car" visit. Great Service, Courteous staff. Scheduling with service is always great and personalized in my experience. Service staff is very knowledgeable with cars, meaning even tjough you are there to have the car serviced, when you drive in and have a problem understanding how something works, they actually get you checked in and then show you what you need to know in your vehicle. Now that's Service and Kia is above the rest in this area. Most service at other dealerships have to go and get sales people and only if you ask a question. Everytime without Fail, I am asked how is everything with car, any concerns we can address for you. Love it.

He knew what we wanted and although he provided helpful alternatives, he didn't pressure us into anything we didn't want. Although this was my first time buying/leasing a car of my own, I understand that it is just as important [if not more,] to be as satisfied with the dealership as you are the car; you want the valid option of being able to return to the dealership for any problems you might encounter, along with maitenance issues. That being said, I was MORE than confident in my decision to lease a car from Gerald KIA. The facility is more than satisfactory, as well as their staff of sales-people. I absolutely recommend this dealership to any and all customers looking for their ideal car!

This is a longer version of my review on Google because I figured I'd give a little more detail if it allowed me to, and I waited a couple more weeks owning my used car purchase from Gerald Kia to see how it went. So I saw an ad for a used vehicle at Gerald Kia under my insurance company's car buying services. I haven't purchased a car from a dealer in a long time, the last one being a new car purchase years ago, much less a used car as I haven't had much luck buying a used car from a dealer, they usually end up being lemons. Because I was interested in the vehicle, I thought I'd take a chance and contacted Ken Moy as referred to in the ad, and Ken also had Quentin Stanley or "Q" as they call him, work with me to take the car for a test drive. When we got back from the test drive, Ken took the time to patiently go over the numbers for me, and although I was initially going to walk away as I wasn't prepared to purchase a car that day, he presented the best deal possible plus he gave me a great deal for my trade. I did have to wait for the vehicle almost two weeks before I could complete the deal because Ken recommended they keep the vehicle until they took care of a couple issues with the car that I pointed out during my test drive and inspection, which I appreciated because the car was eventually going to be for my daughter. Throughout the process, Ken kept in touch with me over the phone and kept me updated on its progress, or lack thereof, because there was a wait for parts, and he promptly returned my texts and calls, then had the car nicely detailed when it was ready to be picked up. Quentin helped complete the deal. The whole experience restored my faith in buying used cars from a dealer, well, mainly from the Gerald Kia dealership because Ken and Q were really conscious of customer service and satisfaction. Joseph, their business manager, was also very conscious in ensuring all paperwork was accurate and complete. The partnership of Ken and Q is a winning combination at Gerald Kia as I see many positive reviews before mine of their work together, and the other salesmen not involved in the deal, like Tremaine who also contacted me through texts, were also courteous and helpful when I was looking for either Ken or Q even though he wasn't directly involved in the deal. Only time will tell if the used vehicle I purchased from them was a good one, but after almost a month now, so far so good, and a manager (sorry forgot his name) even made a follow up call to see how everything is going, and all this for just a used car! vThe experience and service I received was top notch, so different from what I'm used to with car dealers, which will make me consider Gerald Kia for my new (or used) car needs in the future.

First off, I would like to thank this dealership for setting me up with such a fantastic car. I have saved so much in the last year that walking in to this place made buying my first car quite the experience. They were willing to make you comfortable, open minded in different options, and happy with all choices right down to the financing. Two people that I would like to name personally would be the sales associate Chris Taylor and the manager Ken Moy. The great thing about Chris was that he was determined to get us a great deal and showed us much determination without being over bearing. He made it less complicated and that was appreciated. His manager Ken ended up coming over to make sure that all deals were thoroughly explained further.. He did amazing. I don't think I have ever met a manager who was so willing to be helpful to someone buying a car. He treated us kindly and was very funny as well! If you want someone who is going to give you a great deal, phenomenal service, and a beautiful car ... This is the place. I would go back in a heartbeat and will only recommend them from now on. We came on a very busy day (memorial day) and although we did have to wait a very long time to complete the deal I have to say it was completely hassle-free. Everyone we dealt with was excellent from Quentin Stanley who met us as we walked in and kept us up to date through-out the process to his partner Ken Moy . There was just a back log of people trying to get through the financing process. I don't enjoy buying cars but this was my best experience to date! Thanks Quentin!

Quentin "Q" Stanley was easy to talk to, and wanted me to be truely happy with the selection of the car that I purchased from them. We went on a couple of test drives with him, and the course they have out in back of their dealership, is a great way to get to know the car in a short time. Ken Moy was also a great person to crunch numbers with, to help us get the best value and help us with our payment options. Joseph in finance and warranties also was very informative. Everyone at Kia was very pleasant and not pushy. I felt like I could take my time with my decisions, and they'd wait and help me through the process. Q and Ken were great at following up with me from start to finish. I will be definately be going back there for my service of my Kia Optima SX Limited. These guys were extremely helpful every step of the way. This was my first experience buying a car and they helped calm all of my anxieties and explained everything, including in the finance office, so I understood exactly where my price was coming from. A typical car buying experience is one where salesman are hounding you to buy a vehicle. This was not the case with Jose. Jose was very personable and talked to me like a friend instead of someone selling a car. This made me feel comfortable working directly with him. And I can tell you, this was one of my best car purchases EVER. I honestly recommend going into the dealership and ask for Mike. You won't regret it. What I liked most about Mike was his attention to detail and listening throughout conversation. He wasn't pushy at all.

I just bought my very first car and I am SO happy it was with the Gerald Kia in Naperville! I was extremely impressed with the entire staff, especially Quentin "Q" Stanley, who actually remembered my dad and I from a year ago when I first started looking at vehicles! I knew when I bought a vehicle I wanted it to be with a dealership that didn't just see me as another person to get in and out of the door with a vehicle as fast as possible. Q spent a lot of time with me, making sure all of my questions were answered, and that I knew how to use my vehicle before I left (there are so many buttons!!). He even set up my Bluetooth for me, because I would have never figured that out on my own! I will DEFINITELY be referring my friends and family to Gerald Kia, and I am so looking forward to working with Q again in the future. Also, I am IN LOVE with my new car!! Started at Bob Rohrman KIA at Schaumburg and they sold us a used vehicle that ended up having many issues. They wouldn't do anything to help get out of it, knowing that it was their mistake. I contacted Gerald KIA and spoke with Gino, the manager, who was very nice and said to come in. We Came in and Gino directed us to his best salesman Quentin. Quentin imediatley treated us with respect as if we were his own family. We are very satisfied with both of their help and I am very grateful and happy with the 2015 KIA Optima they helped put me in. They are very professional and kind. I will definitely recommend them to others.

My experience at Gerald Kia was very positive for a first time leaser. The only negative aspect of my visit was the dreaded haggle with the dealer starting high and then coming back down. Just giving a reasonable price first would have been the only thing to make my visit better. Quentin was friendly and appeared to go to bat for me to get a price I could be happy with in the vehicle I wanted. The Gerald staff went out of their way to work with us and help a 4 kia vehicle kia family stay a kia family. The paperwork process took longer than I would have liked but Quentin was understanding and kept us up to date on where I stood in the process. He apologized for the long wait and made sure the experience could be as good as possible.I look forward to maintaining the relationship with Gerald Kia and Quentin Stanley.

I went to the dealership on a random day with the intention of "test driving" a Kia Optima. I was excited when I pulled onto the lot and the color (BLUE) I wanted was the first one I saw when I pulled up. I was paired up with a salesman, Quentin, who reminded me of a long lost friend. We conversed as if we had known each other for years and through that conversation, Quentin figured out exactly what I was looking for. He was completely honest with me along the way letting me know what was unrealistic for me, but he made up for any uneasiness by offering other positive options. In the end, I was pleased with the service. Suzie even won my son over by keeping him company through the long process and giving him a few keepsake items. The staff at Gerald Kia of Naperville made me feel like family from the moment I arrived until I left and I could not more grateful for them all!

As the title says, this was my first time buying a car on my own, no parents or older person to help out. After talking with quite a few dealers I decided to make the 45 minute drive out to Gerald Kia in Naperville. Not only were they one of the few dealers who had the exact model I was looking for, but they answered my questions very honestly and did not use any of the "dealer tricks" I had experienced with other dealers. When I arrived I was taken care of right away, Mike and Anthony were great to work with, very professional but friendly at the same time, and the entire process was completely painless and actually a bit fun. I left feeling 100% satisfied and I knew they had given me the best deal possible. As the other reviews say, there are a lot of Kia Dealers out there but the employees at Gerald really make it stand out. I would recommend them to anyone. A+ The massive flat screen tv and free starbucks/hot chocolate machine in the waiting area are a nice plus when waiting for service as well.

In the end I left very satisfied that my best interests were taken into consideration. Quentin and his complete managerial and finance team were highly accommodating, open to my many questions and vehicle changes, and in the end were grateful that I had taken up their whole (yes, open to close!) day. I had given up on dealerships and their games. Looking for a car for my wife and it was a miserable experience. I had seen on the internet that naperville kia had the car we wanted. My wife called and got Quentin "Q" on the phone. She said maybe we would stop in that night or maybe it would be next week. She was impressed with "Q" enough we went that night. It was 10 degrees outside. When we showed up unannounced"Q" had the car inside warmed up , washed and ready to show. That car didn't have exactly what my wife wanted. Found out my sister in law got a huge discount on a Hyundai if we went that route. We were so impressed with "Q" that we bought from another Gerald dealer. When I called to tell " Q" he was great about it. My wife was so impressed with him that we stopped in "45 minute trip from us" just to tell him thank you. So if your buying from naperville kia "Q" is the guy!

The dealership made a mistake. The car they sold us did not have a certain feature we had agreed on. When we discovered the omission the next day, we immediately contacted the sales department. Right away, they recognized the error and offered an exchange for a properly equipped car at no price increase. This swap definitely cost the dealership some money, but throughout they were apologetic, and willing to do everything necessary to set things straight. So OK, maybe the mistake never should have happened. It is easy to have a good experience when everything goes well, but you often find the true nature of someone when they have a set a mistake to rights. Gerald Kia did just that, and they have our absolute respect and thanks, along with our highest recommendation.

I wanted a Kia Soul that was in my budget and these guys made it happen. I had been to a number of dealerships in the area and while lured in by promises, when I got there the terms were different than what I had been told over the phone. When I got to Gerald Kia, Mike led me to the car that was much more than I was even looking for at a price I sleep comfortably with. I love driving it, probably the best car I've ever had. I'm not an easy guy to please, but Mike was more than patient and didn't seem at all irritated by questions and requirements that I know bug most people. I felt very at home there, a beautiful new place that I look forward going back to for service when needed (Keep the Starbucks coffee hot and that huge HD TV on!) Love the way Kia is making cars and the way the dealership ups the warranties from 10 years 100k miles to the lifetime I own the car. Nice to be part of their family.

There is so much to say about Gerald Kia Naperville I don't know where to start. This is by far the best car dealership in this area. I have been to multiple Kia dealerships looking for a Kia Optima. My car buying experience was horrible. Not to mention on the many phone calls I made. I wasn't considering visiting this dealer (Gerald Kia) because they were to far. I called and ask about their inventory and DID NOT want to come in because I visited three other Kia dealers. So this call was more of a call just so I can say I contacted all the dealers in Chicago and the surrounding areas. Gino (Manager) was the first guy I spoke to over the phone and he was really nice. He answered all the questions over the phone and asked me to come in but I hesitated and he said that he would try his best to help me, so I decided to come and visit that night. When I arrived, I was so irritated with the other three dealerships I visited, that didn't want to hear anything Anthony (General Manager) had to say. Yet, Anthony searched and searched for me a vehicle. I only wanted to stay for twenty-thirty minutes because I wasted so much time before and I knew I would end up leaving carLESS again.Unfortunately, that didn't happen and I stayed for hours until they found me a car. Quentin, took me on a test drive and answered all of my questions about the the car. His customer service was exceptional. I purchased the car and then it was finance time. Joe (Business Manager) explained everything clearly and didn't rush me out as if he was trying to get the deal done. The sincere dedication this dealership gives is unmeasurable. I really wish this was the first dealership I visited because it would have cut down on a lot of my time wasted not buying a car dealing with the dealerships. I NEVER felt as if they were the horrible car sales guys trying pressuring me to purchase a car I didn't want or even trying to hassle me out of money because I'm a woman. I'm VERY happy with my new car and all of its features. You know how a business runs and operates by the management team. So a big huge THANK YOU to Gino for trying your best to help me and answer my questions over the phone. Which eventually led me to come in. To Anthony for searching tirelessly for me a car, which eventually led to me being happy about the car. To Quentin for answering all the questions I had about the vehicle and also led to me purchasing the car. My husband and I had been thinking about getting a second car for quite some time. We made Kia our first stop in the process to look and see what our options were. Quentin greeted us right away, talked about what our needs are, and gave us some great options. We weren't ready to buy at that point (wanted to check out a few more options) and Quentin wasn't pushy at all. He totally understood. I'm also not the most knowledgeable on cars and he made me feel very comfortable asking any questions. We checked out a couple different dealerships and honestly, the customer service wasn't one fraction of what it was with Quentin. Other salesmen were too pushy or seemed not to care at all. Quentin is warm, friendly, understanding, and feels like a guy you've known for years- so of course we went back to buy our car from him. The Kia Sorrento was just one of the SUV's on my list of cars to test out, but once I drove the vehicle I was able to assess that it should move to the top of the list. That being half the battle, I then had to brace myself for negotiations and finagling it takes to purchase the car. But alas, no worries...it was quick and seamless! Quentin was not your typical "pushy" sales person and made it a comfortable and pleasurable experience. My eight year old accompanied me on this journey and while she was incredibly patient, she was also got very hungry...lunch was served (thank you for that!). It's those little extras that mean a lot, and let you know that your business is appreciated. What is really great is that I have since returned to the dealership with questions/concerns and Quentin has resolved, or is resolving them. I would be glad to refer him to any of my friends who are looking for a vehicle.

Quentin is hands down the best sales consultant I could have imagined to work with. Buying my Kia Forte EX was my first car purchase, so I was a little worried because I didnt know what to expect. Quentin made the process so easy and SO much fun! He clearly answered all my questions and explained to me all the options, prices, and features that Kias had to offer, all of which blew me away. Plus his awesome personality and funny jokes didnt hurt in making the process all the more enjoyable. I am absolutely in love with my Forte, I have the biggest smile on my face every time I drive my car. I have the best car on the road and thanks to Q, I know there is not any other car out there that would be more suitable for my wants and needs, especially at such a reasonable price. The Forte with the specific features and color I wanted was not at the dealership by my house, or anywhere in Illinois for that matter, and Quentin worked so hard finding the exact one I wanted in another state. He worked it out so the car was at his dealership in 3 days, and I did not have to pay a penny for the tow. I could not be more grateful for his dedication and diligence to making his customers happy. Also, the extended warranty that Kia offers is one to not pass up! I have complete confidence that my new investment will be kept in top-notch condition thanks to the extended warranty and knowing Quentin will always be there for me if something comes up. My mother and I went to Gerald to test drive a Kia and although we were not in a situation to buy at that time, we did not feel pressured and we enjoyed the experience so much that we went back a couple weeks later to buy. Even though it was a lengthy transaction, we came away feeling that Q and Jason had given us their best service and had really worked to meet our requirements.Thanks for all the help! I came here to purchase my first car after researching four or five different dealerships in the area. The customer service and deals offered at Gerald Kia were incomparable. I had a pretty good idea of what car I wanted to buy - a Kia Soul - and Quentin helped me to decide exactly what model and features I wanted in my new Soul. The first time I was there, he even stayed almost two hours after the dealership normally would close to go through the different options with me. He's enjoyable to talk to and spends the time to go through all of the details with you, answering questions along the way.I hadn't made a decision yet - and didn't plan on buying a car that night anyway - so I told Quentin that I was going to do some more research/price comparisons and that I would let him know the next week when I had made a decision. The nice thing was - he didn't call repeatedly and bother me like some other dealerships did. I called him the next week and told him I had made a decision and I wanted to come in to buy. Since Gerald Kia didn't have the exact model/feature/color combination I wanted in stock, I got a step up model for the same price we had negotiated to initially. Overall I got a GREAT deal, I'm happy with my new Soul, and I had a great experience at Gerald Kia! Thanks guys!

Quentin was the main reason our experience was so positive. He put us at ease and kept us laughing. We got a great price on a certified used vehicle. We did have to wait a really long time to see the finance guy which was very frustrating and we weren't too pleased with him. We wouldn't have stayed if it weren't for quentin and the great price the car was selling for.

After getting all questions asked/information on the car I was looking at 4 days prior to purchasing, the process ran extremely smooth and the sales associated ("Q") was very knowledgable on the car I purchased. The part I liked the best was that they did follow up to see if I had any other questions, but did not get overly aggressive. Overall a pleasant experience and am happy with my purchase.

First and foremost I would like to say how awesome Quentin was. He was very patient, professional and persistent. Not persistent against me, but for me. I told him my must haves and he tried his best to make sure I had every one of them, although the manager would not budge on a remote starter ;-) Anywho, best experience ever especially for a first time buyer as myself. Last Thursday we went shopping for a new car. I was between the KIA Soul and the Charger. We went to Gerald KIA first and met Quentin Stanley. He was very knowledgeable of the Soul and willing to answer any questions we had. When we had test driven a Soul and looked at the ones in the showroom we were impressed. We went over the features for quite a while. The floating trunk compartment is one of my favorites.We then said we were going to look at the Chargers and make a decision. Here's the additional impressive part about Quentin: He said Chargers were good cars too, he never bad mouthed them or tried to show us how much better the Soul would be for us. He said he hoped to see us again soon. We looked at the Chargers and we decided to return to Gerald KIA because of the way we were treated by Quentin. He is so genuinely honest, you can just tell he has a good heart. We have already recommended Quentin to several patients. We will continue to tell people about our great experience at Gerald KIA and send them Quentin's way!

My husband & I spent a lot of time researching, visiting different dealers and doing several test drives to find my perfect car. This was a huge decision for me & I wanted to get it right and not rush in to anything. I was completely stressed during this process. Out of every dealership we went to, Kia was by far the best! Friendly & knowledgeable. I walked out of two other dealerships just because of the pushy, arrogant sales people who couldnt seem to answer simple questions. If I dont like your sales person then I definitely won't be buying a car from them. I did not feel that way at all in dealing with Jacob Hernandez. He was able to answer all of my questions and at no point did I feel pressured. The fact that he was so patient during this difficult process made it very easy to come back. If we emailed him, we had a response within minutes. He truly worked hard for us - I know we were difficult at times! He went out of his way and worked very hard to get us exactly what we wanted. I want to mention the rest of the staff as well - everyone was so friendly! Jim Whitgrove was also amazing - he had so much patience with us, I can't thank him enough for working so hard for us as well. I know we did not make it easy! After all the cars, sales people & test drives, Kia stood out hands down. When it is time for a new car or to get my son a car, Gerald Kia is where we will be going. I love my Sorento! I truly made the best decision!

I have owned two Acura TLs over the past 8 years. My current TL just came out of warranty and I have been researching vehicles that might be more affordable and that do not use premium gas, but still offered the luxury I have become accustomed to. I have to say that my Acura dealership's Service Department has superior customer service so it was very important to get both a car I would love AND a great Service Department! I have been very impressed with the KIA and a friend of mine purchased an Optima 2 years ago and he could not be happier. When I arrived at the Gerald dealership, I was greeted immediately at the door with a friendly smile and handshake. Steve, the salesman was courteous, friendly and very informative. Very quickly I was introduced to the Manager, Jason Allen, who let me know that if there was anything he could do to make my experience better to let him know. I felt immediately at home and knew that they would do the best job they could for me. I took under an hour, and I ended up negotiating on a new Kia Optima and I could not be happier with the entire experience. I traded in my TL and was given an excellent price for the trade in. I planned to pay the balance in cash, but in order to qualify for an additional $1,000.00 incentive, I needed to finance the balance. No problem. Joseph Khalil, the Finance Manager was very professional, courteous and friendly. He knew I was running short on time so he explained everything thoroughly but was very efficient at getting all the paperwork signed in a very timely manner.As soon as I left the dealership, I posted a short review on my Facebook page and have already had 2 friends who are both in the market for a new car, ask me for my salesman's name. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone! I would rate my overall experience a 10!!!

This is by far the best car dealership I've ever worked with. I went in on a Saturday looking to see a used Kia Optima EX with the premium package because I couldn't afford a brand new one. I was immediately greeted by John and he showed me a used one I found online. It wasn't exactly the one I wanted so he gave me options on a brand new car. He made it very clear that he would do whatever it took to get me at the monthly payments I wanted to be. He was very honest and took the time to explain all of the clauses to me. I ended up walking away with a Optima Hybrid Ex which has all the bells and whistles, including navigation, and my car payment was exactly where I wanted to be! I will definitely go back to John.

I bought my car from Brandon in August 2013 and It was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. He helped me out and gave me a great deal (exactly what I asked for) right off the bat. To this day I go into Kia and get a wash and I sit and talk to him for sometimes an hour. Hes a great salesman and a great guy who didn't really care about making the sale and didn't take advantage of me. I had been to many dealerships before Kia and I bought the car at Kia Just because of Brandon. I actually hated the idea of driving a Kia but I never looked back and don't regret it at all. At the onset of my visit I already knew I was prepared t o purchase KIA FORTE. It was just a matter of what dealer I was going to buy it from. Obviously one would want to stay nearby their home for convenience reasons. So my purchase was between 2 dealershipspretty straight forward.Upon arrival at Gerald Kia I was greeted by Michael Gately who carried the sale thru from start to finish. Mike was straight forward, prepared to answer each and every question, forthcoming and very likable. He accommodated my needs financially without much haggling which is always a fear when purchasing a car. Mike did not "push" me to buy a carhe merely guided along the process. My new FORTE was washed, filled with gas and ready to go in just a few hours while I did paperwork and the finance application. I would have given this delaership over five! They Went above and beyond. Buying cars is not usualy a fun thing, however Micheal and Jason made it hard to leave. The prosess was quick and yes I must admit FUN! I loved that they were honest , yes thats right honest and straight forward. I had been to four diffrent dealers and have been looking and reasearching for two months. Brian Westhoff did a great job taking care of my wife and I as we were shopping for a midsized family sedan. Brian made sure to go through each of the benefits of the Optima that set it apart from the competition. We test drove one model Friday night and I returned the next day to take another for an extended test drive. I emailed Brian ahead of time and he had one all set up for me and ready to go when I got to the dealership. He had even went through the added work of trading another dealership that morning before I got there for a car with the exact features and color I was hoping for. This probably saved me a couple hours of time sitting at the showroom waiting to see if we could get the right car later. When we got to closing the deal Brian was extremely patient and pleasant with my wife and I even has we had our two young children with us. I could tell he was looking out for our best interests. I would definitely recommend Brian to others that are looking to purchase a Kia.

We were treated like valued customers. We did not intend on buying a car during our first visit (although we had targeted the Sorento on our short list), but it quickly became apparent that our interests were being dealt with in a very fair and honest manner. After a bad experience with another dealership I was really leery of starting this process over again. I was looking for a specific car, and would be traveling out of state. I had tons of questions. Michael Gately handled each and every one of my questions and requests in stride and with patience. This transaction could not have gone more smoothly. All of the ground work was done over the phone and through emails. When we arrived he went over the car from top to bottom, we signed a few papers, and were out the door in no time. My experience at Gerald Kia was outstanding overall. I came in with less than 30 mins left before closing on a Saturday and ended up staying far past closing time. I worked with Mike Gately who was very down to earth and personable. Never once rushing me or my family or giving the impression that he wanted to end his day and go home. Mike gave us his full attention and effort and got me the deal according to the terms I told him I wanted to work within. I came in driving a 2011 Optima EX with only the intention on browsing and left driving a 2013 Optima SXL. Mike's efforts, the fact the he kept me constantly in the loop on what was happening at each point of the sale as well as his friendly, down to earth personality was THE reason I bought the car that day. Had some pretty awful credit because of military experience and a divorce and Michael went out of his way and jumped through hoops to get me into a car. I was walking 4 miles 1 way to work every single day just to try and fix everything and developed shin splints which later turned into stress fractures. No other dealer would even listen to me but Kia told me from Day 1 they would help me and find a car. Less than a week later I was driving off the lot. 5 years in the Marines 2 deployments to Afghanistan 1 to Iraq and 1 to Haiti and Kia took the content of my character into consideration and not just the number on my credit. This means a lot more to me than anyone could realize. Thanks to Michael and the entire Kia Team you guys are rock stars and I'm sure Ill be seeing you again.

Glenn was very helpful in helping me pick out a Kia that would satisfy my needs. After test driving the Rio and the Soul, he was able to answer questions I had and made it easy for me to make my choice. I chose the Soul. I had one picked out one that was on special that I could afford. While we started the paperwork, he found another one they had that was a little more expensive but had more incentives that still fell within my budget. He worked with the finance department to get to a payment that I could afford. He was not pushy at all like some sales people can be. I did not feel obligated to purchase anything just because he worked hard to find a car for me. I purchased because with Glenn talking to me he was able to find a car that I am extremely happy with. The car I chose was my decision and I was not persuaded in any way to purchase one car over another. Everyone at this dealership was knowledgeable, attentive and courteous making my car buying very satisfying. This is the 4th Kia bought in my family from Gerald Subaru Kia in Naperville. I would recommend anyone looking for a great car at an affordable cost to go visit Glenn Miller. He will make sure you get what you want and make your car buying experience one to remember.

Very disappointed. Words cannot express. No one looked at my trade in, but valued me less $9k less than blue book. Not sure how they did that without looking at the car. Spent an hour with the salesman just to complete an application, to be told in 10 minutes that my credit and trade value made my expectations unrealistic. He put his hand out and said "good luck". No discussion or negotiation on the trade or the purchase price. None. It was just odd, to say the least. The next night I visited 2 other dealerships and they valued my car $7k higher than this dealership and got me 4% on my new car which was the same price as the Kia I wanted. Nonetheless, driving a 2013 Honda Accord at 4% and made $1k on my trade. THIS IS HOW FAR OFF KIA IN NAPERVILLE ARE FROM REALITY. Loving my new Accord, payment, and customer service I got from Honda. Next time, come look at my Kia that I am trading, call a bank, and listen to my goals. While, I will never shop here again, I would say that Bob is a nice guy, but either his finance team or GM discouraged this deal and Bob accepted the "no sale" approach. Good luck, guys!

This is our family's very first car that we have bought together and we were looking for the best experience possible. We wanted to find the best price and a friendly dealership that would work with us to get exactly what we wanted. We knew that we really wanted a Kia Soul so we started looking online for where we could get the best deal. We came across a Soul at Gerald Subaru Kia and inquired about it immediately. We were very promptly answered via email telling us a little more about them and the car that we wanted to look at. Over the next week or so we talked back and forth with Glenn and finally got to make it up north to see the car. (we live about 2 hours away so it was hard to make time with a young one at home) The moment we showed up we were greeted warmly and shown the exact car that we had inquired about. Glen worked with us on our budget and got us our perfect car. He was polite and so very helpful. I will recommend them to everyone I possibly can and they will be getting our business again in the future!

I had never purchased a new vehicle before. I never went to a dealership and had no idea what to expect. Prior to meeting Michael, I had went to four other different Kia dealerships. Each experience left me more discouraged. I wondered why people even went through the agonizing process of buying vehicles and dealing with the salesmen and saleswomen that came with the dealerships. Then Michael Gately contacted me. He was no comparison to the other dealers. He was absolutely amazing. He kept to his word, was never misleading and was always willing to find the answers he did not know in a timely manner. He never promised something that he could not uphold. I only had to explain what I wanted once. He made sure that he had the exact Sportage of my dreams. On the phone and in person, he was very approachable. He did not beat around the bush and was very direct. I knew what to expect, there were no surprises. I had learned more about my Sportage in 45 minutes with Michael, than the combined total of 7 hours with the previous dealers. He knew his vehicle. He took pride in his work and truly valued the customer relationship. Michael turned my miserable car shopping experience into a happy ending. I am now the proud owner of a 2013 Kia Sportage:)

My experience began by requesting a quote online for a new Kia Soul, which I received very quickly. The price was better than what I had expected after doing research on KBB and other sites. I explained to Mr. Gately that I was awaiting an insurance settlement and would get back to him once I was more certain of its arrival. In the mean time, I told him I might be interested in a car for my daughter as well. Another excellent quote! I showed up at the dealership on a Saturday to test drive a new Soul! after receiving a part of my settlement (the rest was expected in a week or so). The car Michael had set aside for me was everything I had asked for, and more. It was love at first drive! I offered to put a deposit on the car to hold it until the rest of my money arrived. He left for a few minutes, came back with a big smile on his face and made it possible for me to drive home with my new car that day. We picked out a car for my daughter that same day. A couple of days later, she joined us at the dealership to "sign her share of the paperwork." When we were done, Michael gave us a tour of the dealership, introduced us to the Service Dept. (and made appts. for our first visits) and then we surprised my daughter by telling her that she could also take her car home that day. The rest of my settlement arrived within the next few days, which paid for both cars in full. Michael Gately and Gerald Kia went above and beyond in making both of us feel important and special in our car-buying experience.

We stopped by to check out some vehicles during the time we were getting one serviced, and was referred to Santiago for assistance with Kia Models. He was more than happy to help us identify our needs and requirements for the vehicle we were looking for and had us test drive one. Since we were still shopping, we did not buy right then. WHen the right car popped up in the dealership, Santiago contacted us and we went to have a look at the vehicle. It had everything we were looking for and more! We were more than happy to close on the purchase there and then. The shopping experience was good and we are very pleased with the service rendered by Santiago and the sales dept.

My car was totaled and I needed a new one badly. With less than stellar credit, i was afraid of what my options would be. I knew i wanted a kia sportage, but needed it to be the right price. I tried looking at Honda for a CR-V, and they were not nearly as friendly, quickly gave me a number, and that was it. Michael Gately spent so much time customizing my options and really listening and understanding what i needed and wanted. It was an incredible experience. Everyone was extremely nice, friendly, accommodating, and HONEST. I don't think i'll ever buy another car from anywhere else. And i LOVE my 2013 kia sportage!!

Ed Bemis was my sales rep. He was really great. He was honest. Even when it was the answer i didn't want to hear. He was accessible and nice too. I really enjoyed him. Also, the manager Michael Meah was kind too. Both worked hard to help me and I feel they gave me a fair price the "first time" out of the box. It meant the world to me. Plus, the kia product was a good one. I really like the van i bought. Gerald gives you a lifetime on the trans and engine too!! I mean, i can't ask for much more.

I came in after much research on different cars. I was very impressed with Mike Gately. He listened to what I had to say about the budget I have and didn't try to sell me a car that I couldn't afford. He showed me a used car that was really nice, but he was able to get me in a brand new car in my budget!! I love my new Kia Rio hatchback. It's a zippy little sporty car, but it also has a lot of room! My son and I are both tall and we fit in it very comfortably! It was a relief to be able to go to a dealership where everyone was very friendly and I didn't have to worry about hidden costs. Anyone looking for a good car at a good price and a very friendly, down to earth dealership, go to Gerald and you won't be sorry.

I was searching for a certain model vehicle and reached out via email to about 15-20 different dealers in my area (Chicagoland) and Glen Miller from Gerald Kia went above and beyond my expectations. He managed to get near the exact price that I wanted to pay for the vehicle and followed up very regularly throughout the entire process. Once we arrived to the dealer everything went very smoothly and was very considerate to us since we had two young children with us as well. He took the time to go through all the equipment on the vehicle and explain and show how everything works to my wife and myself. He even went above and beyond and paid for a usb Ipod cable for us out of his own pocket to sweeten the deal. I know for any future vehicles that we purchase from this manufacturer I will make certain to come back to Gerald and Glen in the future.

Mike Terzo was our sales person and he defied all the usual stereotypes that go along with being a car salesman. I was interested in the 2010 Kia Soul that was advertised online. At no point did I feel like he was just trying to get a sale, which understandably is the job, but he was geniunely interested in providing me an experience where I can be comfortable and understand all the features the car had to offer. He was very patient with me and was also extremely personable and fun. I made the decision pretty quickly and there was a lot of time spent sitting around waiting paperwork to be signed etc, and he just kind of hung out with us and we had a good time talking about non car matters. For me buying a car was stressful, but Mike did a great job making me feel at ease and although I had the car in mind prior to visiting the store, he made the decision very simple for me and made the experience a lot better in the long run. All in all I felt Mike was a very friendly, knowledgeable, honest, and genuine person, which obviously is a great combination for someone in his position. As a whole I would recommend this store to anyone looking for a Kia/Subaru or any used car for sale that they have in stock as the experience went about as stress free as it possibly could. well lets just say the typical car sales games. i emailed Mike to get a quote got it and i was happy with the numbers so i went in then when i get i was told that price is for the red optima but i wanted black he say since black and white are in higher demand it cost more but the sticker price is the same.i also want to mention that they put a $698 apperance package on top of the price which is some pinstripe and door trim might be worth $100. but at the end of the day if the price and payment are where i want them its all good.so we work the numbers of course they lowball my trade in by about $2500 which will make the payment way too much but anyway we work on it and we end up $5 a month apart so i say forget it and go home then we are still emailing back in forth and a couple phone calls and we come to an agreement i f i give them al high marks on the survey we will split the $5 and i will get splash guards .so i go in and Mike says the price doesnt include the splash guards which i have an email and text message saying it is included so mike say let me go talk to the mananger Mke V then Mike v comes over talking to me like im 10 years old and says they cant do it i said i have it in writing and he said that my sales guy did tell him about the agreement we made but it didnt matter i was like fine i will walk which i did but not before i let my feelings be known about wasting my time,gas and their shady crap and the fact that my sales guy Mike G just staying up at the manangers desk like a coward while his boss came over nt only did the loos a sale over some$50 splash guards now i will tell everyone i know to stay away

Hats off to Glenn Miller! I visited Kia with absolutely no intent to purchase for another "2-3" months which was clearly stated to Glenn. He listened to my concerns and personal goals while he built a plan around them that involved purchasing two new cars. Every time I stopped by he gave me his undivided attention, answered all of my questions and took me on many many test drives even though he knew I wasn't ready to buy. He always made himself available to discuss purchase options and we ended up buying much sooner than anticipated because Glenn put together a deal we couldn't refuse. Great work! I recently purchased a 2006 Kia sedona. I went in to the dealership with the mindset to just look around. I was very apprehensive do to a previous bad experiance at a diffrent dealer. Glenn Miller was available to answer my questions. He was very helpful and answered all my questions clearly and without any pressure. I even returned home and came back and he still continued to be attentive and understanding of my concerns. I also was apprehensive about how much the payments would be. The finance department was fantastic. I got a payment plan that I can very easily afford. I was so pleased. All of the salesmen that we were in contact with were very easy going and friendly. No one was pushy or overbearing. There appeared to be a comradery among all of the salesmen. One brought my kids candies and coloring books and another balloons. They also have a wonderful warranty on their vehicles. I would and have recommended this dealership and salesman to friends of ours.When I need another car I will be coming back here and I have never said that about any dealership that I have done business with.

I was referred to John Smith by a family friend of mine. As soon as I met him he was like a friend I new for years. Very friendly and fun to talk with. Showed me all the different types of Optima's there was and showed me the one I was looking for. Went for a test drive even though I did not purchase that day. Came back a week later to purchase the car because of the enjoyable time that I had on my first visit. I will always recommend John to my family and friends that are looking to purchase a vehicle.

This is the second Kia Soul we have purchased from this dealership. The first, in May 2010, was a good experience. We made the decision to purchase a second one after the first was totalled in an accident. The entire process was a nightmare the second time around. We visited the dealership on more than one occasion and even spoke with the salesperson about which options we wanted on the car (trying to replace what we had on the previous car). We were told that they didn't have the car in their inventory, but they would be able to get it for us, but first we had to go sign all of the paperwork. What they didn't tell us was that once we signed the paperwork they could screw us any way they wanted and we were stuck with the car! My husband and 17 year old daughter (who the car was for) went in to sign. At that time, the salesman showed them a list with 6 items on it as to options we wanted on the car. They were not told that this was an exclusive list, speak now or forever hold our peace. My husband (who had not been involved in the previous dealings with the salesperson) and daughter agreed that they wanted those options. A couple of days later I went in to pick up the car with my daughter. She immediately noticed that it didn't have the spoiler that she had told the salesperson repeatedly that she wanted. When we brought up, he tried to blame it on her ( 17 year old who is not even old enough to legally make a binding contract)by saying it wasn't on his list that they were shown. True, but the color was also not shown, nor were the size and rims we got on the car, etc, yet we got all of those things on the vehicle. It was clearly his error, but instead of standing up and being a man, he tried to blame it on her. The management of the dealership sat there like bumps on a log and offered no solution to this issue. Just tough, you signed for it, therefore, you are stuck with it. No integrity in this dealership. They really should be ashamed of themselves. We will never buy another vehicle from them and plan to spread the word about their unscrupulous actions.

So I went to Gerald Kia, Naperville for a new car after I had been "shopping" for cars for about a year and a half. Mid August, I test drove the Toyota Camry. I had been dead set on the Camry for as long as I can remember. It was nice, nice ride. Just as I expected. The following day, I test drove the Hyundai Sonata. It was far nicer than the Camry and with the warranty, it pretty much eliminated the Camry as a choice. The day after that, I test drove the 2011 Kia Optima SX. I was blown away! I had to have it. It is so nice. It's a luxury car without the luxury price. Simple as.Rich Evans, my salesperson, was very great to work with. Initially, there was a "hiccup" with actually buying the car due to some unforeseen circumstances on my end. But after a 3 week delay, I returned to buy it. He remembered us, remembered the deal we set up and at the time of purchase (9/10/11, lol) he gave us an even better overall deal than was initially agreed upon 3 weeks prior.Gerald didn't have the car on the lot that I wanted, but with an easy dealer trade, they were able to retrieve it. The only complaint I have is that the one they brought from the other dealership had some curb damage to the front underlip bumper, but I was assured by Rich that this will be taken care of to my satisfaction. I have no reason to doubt him.I highly recommend this dealership and working with Rich specifically. When I first came in and test drove it, he didn't bs me or anything. He didn't even take the test drive with me. That was a first for me. His exact words: "I don't need to sell you this car, this car will sell itself." A truer statement has never been made. And on top of that, he sold himself as a quality salesperson. Often times, they get a bad rap for being shady in some form or another. He was by far the straightest shooting salesperson I have ever had the pleasure of working with and would buy from him again in a heartbeat.The whole buying experience from Gerald Kia, Naperville was top notch. I have rated them 5s across the board because quite frankly, they deserve it. I have been screwed by dealerships in the past, and there wasn't even the slightest of inclination that there was going to be a repeat here. They treated me with dignity and respect and gave me a fair price despite not having the world's greatest credit. The entire staff were upfront with me about everything, answered all of my questions satisfactorily and made me feel like they cared and wanted me to be happy with my purchase. Went to Gerald Kia just to test drive the new Sportages but ended up leaving with purchasing one. I had not bought in car in about ten years and was quite frankly not looking forward to the whole process. My worries were quickly abolished after meeting and talking with salesman John Smith. Gerald Kia was the 3rd dealer I visited when shopping for a new car. After visiting Kia and speaking with John Smith, I found it difficult to even consider the other two options. I am a young buyer with a brand new career. John understood this and made sure to show me the car that had everything I needed and desired. I purchased my 2011 Kia Optima from Gerald Kia in June. John Smith was very helpful in my decision. I had a specific color and options package in mind when arriving at the dealership. After being there for 5 minutes, I ended up falling in love with a different color and options package that I saw. I thought was way out of my league and I could never own a vehicle like that! John Smith made sure that I could get the car that I wanted for the price that I could afford. I could not be happier with the way they treated me and worked to get the car I loved. I appreciate the follow up calls to make sure that I love my car and that everything is working as it should. Took my vehicle in for service last week and right off the bat the service manager stormed my vehicle trying sell me every fluid service they offered. I would understand his concern... If my vehicle had more then 10k miles on it. I love my Kia Soul, but really?! Let's wait till I've had more then 3 oil changes before you try taking my money. He was very rude from the get go and didn't seem knowledgable at all of the products the dealership had to offer, he even said that if I didn't get my tires rotated every time I visited, I would be forced to relinquish my warranty. I was irate at this point with all that had gone on before my vehicle was even touched by a mechanic I nearly walked out until one Adam Vandiver stepped in and showed me nothing but respect and an overwhelming plethora of know how. He made the visit more manageable for me and tried his best to repair the damages the service manager had made on my impression of the dealership. It seemed as thou all the technicians hated working there and that his manager skills unfortunately had transferred over to his team as well. I would like to thank Adam and all the Technicians for there help except for an older aged tech that made very rude remarks towards me that I overheard. He was telling another tech to check if his parts where ready, I think he was telling him to go up front towards me to look at my teenage daughter. I was disgusted at it and was thankful to have a kia so he didn't touch my vehicle being that he was a Subaru tech. All in all I would not recommend the dealership due to the fact that Mark showed me very little respect and also for the fact that my teenage daughter was eye candy and fealt very uncomfortable because of it.

We purchased a brand new kia optima LX. They keep pushing the price up by going back and forth from the original price we want until we get tired of it. and then they make you wait for hrs just to see the finance manager and then the get you out so quickly that that don't show you all the documents of how much total you are buying. We were sent home with NO details of the sales. Very shady They tricked us by telling us that they are offering us a 1 yr free maintenance and for only 14 dollar a month we can get 5 yrs maintenance. but the really they charge me 1,000 for 5 yrs maintenance and when I call to cancel they told me I cannot cancel because it part of buying a CAR!!!.

My intent that day was to lease a new car, I had my heart set on a VW Jetta but decided to just give the Optima a test drive. Well I wanted to go with the Optima, it was bigger, better gas mileage and my wife already owned a 2007 and we pleased. I got everything I wanted with the lease program and what I was expecting on my trade-in. Michael Gately was very easy to work with, he meet all my needs and even though my lease has a 3-year scheduled service, I will be using Gerald Kia to get my wife's Optima serviced as well. Thank you

Got online quote for 2011 Kia Optima EX with Premium Pkg for $22,947 +TAX+TTL. They did not have in stock and asked me to get LX at discounted price. Kept pushing for LX and priced my required one (EX) way over than their quoted price (actually close to sticker price $24,749 +TAX+TTL). Basically, they have a glut of LXs and probably wanting to get rid of them but that's not the way to do it. We go online to save time and hassle of bargaining and finding vehicle availability instead of driving around. Overall, I would rate it a bad experience.

I was first contacted by Sandy Jackson upon completing an internet request for quotes for a Kia Sorrento. I immediately received a few replies via email and one stood out. It was the reply from Sandy because it included quotes for he car I referenced. The others did not. Sandy followed up with a phone call a couple of days later, but I couldn't speak at the time. Later, I visited Sandy at Gerald Kia to check out the Sorrento and as it turns out, they also were a Subaru dealer. Our decision turned towards the Subaru Forrester for a number of reasons. Sandy worked with us to test drive the car, no pressure, no rush, just good solid information and answers to our questions. Got other bids and went back to Sandy to see if her offer to match would be a easy as promised. It was that simple. I had a great experience at Gerald Kia! I basically knew what I was looking for in a vehicle and I was able to get that plus some for a great price. Michael was great to work with, as I was initially on my lunch break and allowed me to leave my trade in and go back to work with the car I was looking into and come back once work was over. The financial department was great to work with as well. My husband and I knew what price we were willing to pay and they were able to give that to us. I love my new Optima and will gladly recommend anyone to shop at Gerald Kia for their new or used vehicle. I will also be back in the future!! Thank you!

I recently purchased a 2011 Kia Sorento at Gerald Kia in Naperville, IL. I received great treatment from my salesman, John Smith, and his sales manager Mike Vanderplow. They worked very hard to make sure that my purchase went well. Everybody at the dealership, the sales department, the service department and the body shop treated me well. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone and I would go back again.

My husband and I had a great experience with Mike Gately. We were in town visiting my parents and my car had proven it was on its last legs. I called around to multiple KIA dealerships looking for a red Soul + at a good price. We were on a time crunch and I didn't want to drive all over town looking for the best deal. Mike was one of only 2 dealers, out of the 5 that I called, who gave me up front pricing information. When that price was significantly above a quote from another dealer, he spoke to the manager, came back and offered to "meet or beat" that lower price - and he did! He also worked hard to get us the car that we wanted - they didn't have the red plus at the dealership, so his manager asked his father-in-law to go pick the right car up and bring it to us. While we were waiting, Mike was friendly and helpful and didn't push any "extra special offers" or other pricing options on us. I am schmooze-proof and never once felt that familiar eye-rolling feeling I had gotten with other dealers. We also dealt with Mike from the very beginning, so it was nice to not have to keep re-explaining what we wanted to different sales people.It was a very busy Saturday, but Mike kept things as efficient as possible. When an accident on 55 caused the car to take a while to get to the dealership, Mike waited with us, made sure the car looked perfect, helped me clean out my old car, and drove to the nearby gas station with us to fill our new car up - postponing the far more fun activities we knew he had planned for the evening! All in all, a fantastic experience.

My experientce was a pleasant one. I have always had a bad experience with the sales department because the sales people are pushy, kind of rude and trying to sell me something i didn't want or put me in something I can't afford. My experience with John Smith at Gerald Kia was a great one! John took the time to hear what I was looking for and what price range I wanted to be in. He did not try to sell me something I didn't want or couldn't afford. He had a great disposition. I also liked that other people came out to meet me and see to me and my daughters needs. This caused me to make a purchase that evening and I originally had not planned on buying anything that nite. I would return to Gerald Kia and I would ask for John again.

When I purchased the car, I had just moved to the area and had been shopping for a vehicle for a few weeks. I went to CarMax, other dealerships, individuals, etc. and wasn't having any luck with finding the type of car I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. I was on the fence between buying a new used car, or a 'new' new car. Going into Kia, I didn't exactly have enthusiastic expectations. I was more than pleasantly surprised! I loved the Kia Soul. They had the exact model and color I wanted on the lot [so 'new' we had to peel the plastic wrap off the car to test drive it] John was wonderful to work with! He took my concerns to heart regarding safety, economy, and practicality of my choice of purchase. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and respectful [and was able to laugh with my sense of humor and attitude, which admittedly is no easy task.] Most importantly, he wasn't the negatively stereotypical "cars salesman" I had been encountering everywhere else.Everywhere I go, people ask me about my Kia Soul. I have given about 10 impromptu mini-tours of my vehicle in random parking lots since my purchase, and I've told every one that has asked to go to Gerald Kia in Naperville.I'd give my experience and purchase satisfaction a 9.5 out of 10. You can't get a better deal for the price. Trust me, I've already looked. Go see John at Gerald Kia. You'll be glad you did!

Michael was great, the whole process was smooth except for the finance part. No one wanted to talk about financing until we had agreed on a price and were shipped into the finance office. Kia offers 0% for 36 months (which we weren't interested in) and 1.9% for 60 months and was told we had great credit but for some other reason werent able to get the 1.9%.

Just when we thought we were "done" looking for an SUV I decided to make a call to Gerald Kia and spoke to Rich Evans, who through his diligent search put a deal together to make my husband and I VERY HAPPY with our whole experience of buying a new car just when we were ready to give up. We had probably been to 8 different dealers and were dissatisfied at all of them and from the beginning phone call to the drive of the new car out of the lot our experience was fantastic! I am VERY pleased with the OUSTANDING Customer Service and Professionalism I received from my car salesman, Michael Gately! He really knows hot to take care of his customers. I was looking for a new suv, but I am very particular with the color and style of the vehicles that I drive. Michael had the patience and even did a 500 mile search for me to see where he could locate this vehicle for me. When it was virtually impossible to find this vehicle due to high demand, he and his boss worked it out for me to get an even bigger and better SUV at an affordable price that was within my budget! Bought our Kia from Sandy and she was a pleasure to work with. At many other dealers we had the stereotypical high pressure salespeople, but Sandy was no pressure. We made several visits before deciding on the Sorento and we never felt like we were being rushed into a decision. We liked the model on the floor so Sandy suggested we take it home for the weekend to try it out. Drove off the showroom floor and when we returned it, Sandy just said "Thanks"; no high pressure sales pitch at the end. Best car buying experience I've had so far. As for the dealership, I was very happy with the price and the overall sales process. I've had the car in for maintenance once, and no complaints. Would recommend this dealer and specifically Sandy.

Our experience with Sandy Jackson was very positive. I started looking for a vehicle 3 months before I needed to purchase. I explained to Sandy that I wasn't in a hurry, and was waiting for great incentives as well as comparing against competing models. Sandy was the only salesperson I talked to who respected my approach and didn't hound me with phone calls and emails (unlike the other half-dozen or so I spoke with at other dealerships). But the bottom line is the deal - Gerald gave me a very good deal. Once we decided the Forte Koup was the car we wanted to buy, Sandy supported us in our negotiations with her management. We knew the price we were willing to pay, and it helps to be willing to walk away if the deal isn't favorable to both parties. Sandy was patient through the back-and-forth. I highly recommend Sandy for your automobile purchasing needs!

I bought my very first Subaru in May 2010. At first I was skeptical as I had always owned Pontiacs, but I was referred to Gerald Subaru and to the Subaru brand in general, so I thought I would look into it. From the moment I walked in the front door, I was greeted warmly by Sandy Jackson, who by the way wasnt your typical "pushy", "overbearing" sales person, she was very patient, answered all my questions and allowed me to take several different vehicles for test drives. She along with Mark Phillips worked very hard for me in order to get me into a vehicle and price I was comfortable with, again there were no games, no haggling & I never felt as if I was being pushed to do something I didnt want to do. Sandy had indicated that she owned a Subaru, and loved it. I went with the Forester and I liked the fact it had AWD and was rated highly with many different consumer reporting agencies. I had my heart set on satellite radio and a sunroof, but quickly realized after I made the purchase that I made a very good decision and those things werent what was truly important to me at the end of the day. Fast forward to the present - Once the snow started falling was when I truly realized I made an excellent decision! I have NEVER had a vehicle handle this well and can honestly say it is the safest vehicle I have ever owned.In closing, I cant say enough good things about Sandy, Mark & the Gerald Subaru Kia family. I have even had a very good experience with their service dept thus far. dishonest. proof is in and on the car. refused my business even after a brand new car purchase. did not document service work including check engine light. no response from owner even after a certified letter was sent to him. first day of purchase salesman damaged car and denied it. first week of ownership it spent in body shop. got car back and it had several appearance issues which were never fixed but only covered up over the next 5 months of going back and forth.
