Always a kind word or a great piece of advice! I can't say enough good about Jared Kotcamp. He has looked for a vehicle that would fit out needs for months. I had been searching for a Kia Optima for years and just couldn't seem to find one that fit my budget. I previously bought a vechicle at South Point Ford and was looking at the inventory there and it led me to this dealership. So happy it did! I had Glockners replace a motor in our Cadillac. The motor that was sent was bad. The Glockner staff went above and beyond to help try to get motor company to honor warranty. They stayed in contact with me and the motor company. They have cooperated with supplying information needed to try to get motor replaced. I would recommend Glockners service and sales to everyone!

While getting an oil change on my wife's Impala, I wasted some time looking at new HD trucks. A salesman I've never seen there before almost ran out to the lit. I immediately felt high pressure to buy something. I then wandered over to a Camaro. He followed spewing out so many facts about the car I couldn't have kept up even if I was a potential buyer. I told him I wasn't ready to buy anything, just killing time. It didn't matter. He kept throwing out specs and telling me he would be more than happy to put a deal together. I've never felt pressure here under Bob Clyses ownership. Also, when you call in to make an oil change appointment, you no longer have the option to punch a number and go directly to the oil change desk. I got a lady on the phone that seemed to have a problem with me wanting to get an oil change in Ironton rather than Portsmouth. I had to call and reschedule the appointment and the same thing happened. It's just not as personal as it used to be.

I would highly recommend this dealership and salesman to anyone out there. We initially chose Glockner's because we like to help hometown businesses grow. We personally asked for Trever Thompson as a salesman because we have heard nothing but great things about him, but I didn't know how good he really was until we bought a car from him this past weekend. My husband and I went in knowing exactly what type of car we wanted, but wasn't sure if it was in our price range. Guess what? Trever made it work. We gave him a specific budget to work with and a color that we liked. Within minutes he had a car pulled up on the computer, minutes later we were test driving it. We noticed that Trevor is not only worried about selling a car, but making sure that the customer is happy after buying. For example, after we bought our car we decided to purchase the "protective coating" for the inside and outside of my car. With my busy schedule I was having trouble planning a time to bring my vehicle in for an appointment. Trever then went out of his way to schedule a rental car for me to drive to work until my car was finished. Trever kindly brought my vehicle to my work for me and exchanged cars. He personally went out of his way to make things work for my husband and myself and we appreciate it more than he knows. We give Trever and Glockner's 5 stars and nothing less.

I contacted Glockner online about a used Avalanche.I asked for their lowest price, additional pictures and details about the truck because I would need to drive almost 2 hours to visit their dealership so I wanted to be confident in who I was dealing with before I made the trip.They were great right from the very start. Sent me many more additional pics to review. Double checked a few things that I asked about and then gave me a great bottom line price.I drove down and the truck was ready for me at the front door. I was on the road for a test drive within minutes. They let me test drive the truck for a couple of hours while they looked over my trade in.I returned with questions about the truck and they were quick to help work thru my concerns.They offered me a very fair trade in amount on my car and the deal. I told them I was looking to finalize the deal that day because I was leaving for Vacation and wanted to take the truck on the trip. I had been waiting for other lenders to approve a 72 month term on a 2011 vehicle and was getting less traction than I had expected. JC and Danny came back with the lowest rate and best offer I had seen even after doing 2 days of research and calls myself.I feel like this was one of the best used car purchase experiences I have ever had and wish I lived closer to have the truck serviced there. I will be sure to recommend them to friends and even stop in if Im back in the Portsmouth area again.Thanks to everyone at Glockner!

The facility was very professional and clean. We took our 5 year old daughter with us and they had a nice play area to help keep her busy while my wife and I were deciding which vehicle to go with. Joe Rozell was very professional and didn't pressure us at all. We were set to purchase a used vehicle and I never had even thought of buying a new one. Didn't think it was affordable for my family. After consideration of several used vehicles and seeing what the pricing would be, Joe stated that I may be able to get a 2016 with not much more of a monthly payment. We are very happy with our 2016 Chevy Equinox and are very pleased with our experience at Glockner. The managers were very accommodating and made us feel very comfortable with the dealership. I highly recommend checking with Glockner anytime a person is looking for a new or used vehicle and would recommend asking for Joe to assist you with your purchase!

This is not your typical dealer. These people actually work with you and give you the best deal possible while still making their money. I actually felt like I was treated like a human being and not just a paycheck for them. They went above and beyond for me. I actually made the drive from about 2 1/2 hours away to buy my truck. I got there late, after closing, and they waited on me to get there, and I didn't feel like they were the least bit mad about it. I also had a small issue with the truck, and even though i bought it as is without warranty, they instantly took care of me. Dealerships like this are few and far between. Will definatly give them my buisness in the future.

I was looking for a Camaro. I stopped by the Ironton store and spoke with a young man. He in formed me that they did not have what I was looking for but the Portsmouth lot may. I said ok and left... I was heading back home (Huntington) when Michael called me. He told me about the 3 they have in stock. I was approved with my bank and so the bottom line had to be a certain number for me to get approved. Michael understood that and gave me direction to the store. I got lost a few times and had to call back and not one time did Michael seem mad, upset or anything. When I got there he had the car inside(it was raining). He tried to get me approved but could not. I have low credit. Michael never treated me any differerent. He still treated me like a human. I went to my credit union, signed papwer and went back and drive the car home! If you have credit, income issues and think you cant get approved go see Michael Burk at Glockner GM in Portsmouth. They treat you like family and will do just about anything to help you out!! I will tell all my friends/family to go see Michael!!

I just purchased a 2015 Nissan Altima with Glockner. My credit is awful but Trever Thomspon worked diligently to get me in a car. I knew when I started my used car search that it was going to be next to impossible to get a decent car with an affordable payment. They worked with me on my down payment and treated with great respect. I never once felt judged by more poor credit. Other dealers made me feel like a bum. Trever delivered on everything he said he would. And Luke the finance guy was great as well. When I signed the final paper work my payment ended almost $30 cheaper. The deal was done and he still worked on lowering my paymen when he didn't have too. Also Trever knew how bad in need I was for a second car and was able to get the deal done in an hour. All while closing up the dealership when they could have told me to come back the next day but they knew I had an hour and thirty minute drive but was never rushed one time. I high recommend Glockner to anyone most definitely if you have credit issues. These guys are not your typical salesman they are class acts all the way.

Tony Christopher, our sales representative, was professional and did everything to make our purchase experience as smooth and trouble free as possible. We worked with a few different people today at glockner's. We were buying a used 2014 Kia soul for my wife as a Christmas present. This is a great car but the real surprise today was the "new" staff at Glockner's. I have been in this area all my life. Forty years to be exact. I have always stopped in and out of Glockner's over the years and never really tried to buy anything because I got a bad vibe from the second I pulled on the lot. I have never went as far as to actually purchase anything until today. I wanted to see the soul they had in stock as it was exactly what my wife was looking for. I was certainly apprehensive about what I'd find once we started dealing. Well, I'm writing this review to share with everyone the experience I had. Not only did we not find the typical "salesmen" , you know the retired sixty something amateur golfers that sit around all day drinking coffee and smoking. What we found upon walking in was to the contrary!! We were met by a friendly fellow who waited until we were ready to talk to someone instead of meeting us at our car door as we were getting out. After telling him we were referred by a friend, he directed us to the general manager. J.C. Spearry was his name. Not only could you tell before the introductions were over that this guy knew his stuff but all through the day I was impressed over and over again. J.C. Is new to the area and was beyond professional. The finance department was more than accomodating with everything from the dreaded processing and waiting for approval to the joking demeanor which was very relaxing during what we all know is stressful. They didn't just try and push me through with the first bank that would approve me. They went out of their way to make sure I got the best price and payment. J.C. Kept referring to everyone there as his "team" and this was an understatement. These people are a family. A family who's main concern was ultimate customer satisfaction and Believe me that was accomplished today. I have several people in my family who are looking for vehicles and I will firmly recommend they shop only at Glockner's. They are a General Motors new and used dealership with an unreal selection of both. While I'm adamant about never owning a GM product I will always purchase any future vehicles from them as J.C. Has assured me that he will find whatever I'm looking for. Like I've said earlier I've dealt with car lots in portsmouth my entire adult life and even worked for a couple, but none were like the "new" Glockner's. So stop in and talk to J.C. And his "team" and let them renew your faith in not only the car buying process but in Glockner GM Superstore. We had a great experience overall. We went into our vehicle search fairly unfamiliar with the make and model we purchased and have been completely satisfied with our new Traverse. The employees stayed after hours to make this deal with us and we greatly appreciated it as we came from over an hour away. They were courteous and easy to work with. My husband, who was purchasing his first car was very pleased with the ease and cooperation provided us during the dealing and financing processes we went through during our purchase. We experienced three things we thought were negatives and expected as dealer courtesies of a purchase. The first being that we were given the car with an empty gas tank (every car I've ever purchased has been filled and washed prior to driving off the lot), the second that we were told the vehicle would be detailed before we picked it up and the interior had a few smudged and sticky places, and the third that they let us drive the vehicle home without our temporary tag. Despite this, they made up for it by bringing the tag to the place, and at the time, of my choice the next day. Randy even followed up via text and a handwritten Thank-You card. These actions of thoughtfulness impressed us, as there has been nothing we have needed. The fact that we are so pleased with our car, Randy's professionalism and the timeliness and ease of the process made this a dealership I would most likely return to for future purchases.

Made the 2 hour trip to Glockner when we found out that wasn't the right vehicle Danny found us a jeep patriot that had just come in on trade. The next day he even drove it to Charleston, WV while attending a meeting so my wife could see the car. This was our first car we bought for ourselves from Glockners. I called on Friday, was given lots of info. and an appointment for Saturday morning. We went their with notes I had made while looking for the specific car we wanted and notes on a couple cars from a different Dealership, with the intentions of visiting both places because we had dealt with the other Dealer for several years. I recently was driving home to Tennessee from visiting a buddy in Columbus. About ten miles north of Portsmouth my transmission went out and I was stuck without a vehicle. I was a cheapskate in an awkward position and Glockner was the closest dealership. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't try to work me over and try to sell me something over my suggested monthly price. They actually beat the price, which I've never experienced at another dealership. They worked up a deal for a new car, which I wasn't expecting. They were quick, friendly, and very informative about my options. I was out the door with a great new car for a great price.

We tried to buy a 2012 Camero from Glockner's. Appointment made and when we arrived, "JC" the Sales Manager said that someone was out test riving the car and hadn't returned it. We were there 3 hours....car never returned and they could not get a hold of "said driver". JC ran our credit application and we were told they would call us when ca returned. It has been almost two weeks and no call. I would not recommend Glockner's at all. Very poor customer service!!!!

I went in that day to just look..I ended up driving 6 cars and not really sure which one I wanted.Randy took the time to let me think about it and ask a lot of questions to help eliminate them one by one until I decided I wanted the Dodge Avenger... This is my third purchase from a Glockner Dealership and I prefer to do business locally so I didn't shop out of town. This purchase was the first from the GM dealer and my experience during the buying process was great. I enjoyed working with Tony, Luke, and Matt. Since the car I was buying hadn't been cleaned or serviced I had to wait a day to pick it up. After I picked it up it appeared it was only cleaned and not serviced. I returned it a few weeks later and a few other issues were caught at that time. After talking with Tony and Matt, things were taken care of. I appreciate the time they take even after the sale to continue doing good business and making sure you're happy with your purchase.

I went to Glockner's on a Saturday to test drive a couple of cars and came away with a 2011 Cadillac SRX. The vehicle has been maintained great; it looks like a new vehicle inside and out. They even cleaned the little bit of dirt on the outside of the car before I took it home. The entire staff was great to work with, and they worked hard to find me a great rate and get me the most "bang for my buck". Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Glockner's for anyone in the market for a new OR used car.

My experience with Melinda Dever in the Service Department has been excellent. She is one of a kind. She always makes you feel right at home. Since I bought my new SUV she has made my service needs easy. It is so nice to have the same smiling face every time you come in. It doesn't matter if they are really busy or not she has the same friendly personality. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to telling you what is going on. I have had my vehicle there for all my oil changes as well as other things and she has taken care of everything I wanted to know. She is an OUTSTANDING Employee. Thanks Melinda

Everytime I have my car serviced, I am always greeted with a smile and leave knowing that my vehicle has been properly taken care of. Bill Collins is an example of a model employee. He always provides great service and is there to answer any questions that we may have. I have been a Glockner customer for many years and will continue due to the quality of care that we receive.

Melinda Dever has always provided excellent service when I am at the service department. Whether I need to schedule an oil change or have an another issue that needs addressed, she goes out of her way to take care of me. She even arranged for a rental car when I needed to leave my car overnight. Melinda is very knowledgeable, and I trust her with all my care-care needs!

I absolutely loved this dealership. Upon arrival, I had intentions of looking around, and then going elsewhere to look as well. I personally hate to be pressured or haggled, and I never once felt that at this dealership. I was treated with respect and absolute friendliness, as well as having my every need met. Recently I purchased a truck from Glockner and my overall experience couldn't have been better. My salesperson Keith Damron went above and beyond to ensure my buying experience was a good one. He provided us with all the information needed in which to buy a vehicle. The details and demonstrations he gave us on the truck were thorough and helpful. The credit department also did a quick and painless job. When we purchase another vehicle, we will certainly go to Glockner.

Bill Colllins has been my primary contact in the service department and he has taken excellent care of my vehicle's maintenance and with any recalls that have occurred. I emailed Luke who handles the financial part because I wanted to get approved before I walked into the dealership. He got me approved through emails and phone calls. I walked into the dealership and was introduced to the Internet salesman Jared. I loved the car and Jared helped me with all gadgets. Everyone treated me nicely and with respect. I will defiantly be back to this dealership when the time comes.
