So I get an alignment done after replacing my hubs and a few other things. All you guys did was switch the way my steering wheel was angled, it was leaned left now it’s leaned right and still pulling hard to the right. I didn’t get any feedback on the multipoint inspection section. Was hoping to base my next repairs off of that. I honestly think my truck pulls harder now an has a popping noise I can’t find after the alignment. This is the second time this has happened now. The first time my alignment was done the guy after finishing it up told me my tie rod was bent. Why even do the work if you know it’s not gonna change anything. My trucks lifted so I know my alignment won’t be 100% but switching the way my wheel was and making it pull even harder then before is a bit ridiculous especially at the cost. I was more then happy with the service department guy that day, great guy. Hire competent people, I’ve applied an been turned down on the job but see the listing up the next week anyways. Love your dealership but don’t love the way things are handled behind the scenes. A quick do you wanna go forward with the alignment even though it’s just gonna flop the wheel the other way I probably would of said no, did more repairs and brought it back the next weekend I was free.

It was fine, nothing special. I had to get the warranty work done on my transmission. Honestly, if the truck I have wasn't a sweet truck, I would never own a Chevy. It's just too steeped in the old American carmaker culture of average service, average build quality, etc.

You can do better and should look elsewhere. I've been to two different dealers since whom offered me 20% better on our trade in. We felt burdensome to the manager when negotiating the purchase - he spent very little time building any relationship and left us with pretty bad vibes overall. Even mentioned the car we drove was 'potentially unsafe' - a newer Nissan - and that I should be cautious driving my family around in it. Chris - the salesperson - on the other hand was nice and helpful. Overall, I wouldn't waste your time here.

I have loyalty visited Goodwin every 5000 miles for oil change and the necessary maintenance on my 2013 spark. However it had recently been making a strange notice and I knew it was due for inspection. I brought it in and let them know is the noise and they said they would take a look. An hour later my car was done and they said they found no issues. I assumed the sound may be just unbalanced tires with uneven air pressure and decided to ride it out. However the sound got worse. I took the car to pep boys locally and they stated the strut bones were missing and the left strut was leaking bad. An issue like this shouldn't have passed inspection... Never going back to them again safe to say. When I called back to ask for the issue to be fixed at a discounted rate. I was told that wasn't possible even though they were the ones that messed up.

I found a used car that I liked at Goodwins online. And when they called and said that we could work something out, I was pretty sure that we could. The car I traded was a 2013 Impala in Excellent shape with low mi. So I purchased a 2015 Impala and am satisfied with the price and I love the car. But! When the deal was done we hopped in and drove off pretty pleased with things. On the 30 mi. drive home though my wife noticed a small but significant hole or crack in the windshield. She immediately called Goodwins and got someones voicemail.. They didn't call back. Also during the drive home I noticed that the car hadn't been detailed. It wasn't terribly bad but I''m 68 and disabled to an extent and will have to have it cleaned by a guy here near my home, he charges $160.00 plus tip. We almost had to beg them to get the windshield fixed and then it was poorly done. I asked several times about cleaning the car but got no response. My wife tried to call Mr. Goodwin himself when we knew he was there because we were in the waiting room. She was put on hold then after a wait told that he had stepped out and to leave a voice mail, which she did. That was three weeks ago and we're still waiting to hear from him or from anyone down there, You'd think at least they would offer to detail it and to make the windshield whole..... One last thing, everyone was really nice while we were buying, but when we expressed a complaint, I don't know how word gets around so fast but everyone there turned rude. The girls at the front turned their backs on me after a dirty look for instance and the other sales staff except for Tucker our Sales Guy, were rude without saying anything if you know what I'm trying to say. We are just a nice couple we have no enemies that I know of and we have many friends. Why we got this kind of treatment is so crazy to both of us that it's very, very upsetting. I would not recommend shopping there.

I have had to bring my vehicle into this dealership multiple times for significant service and each time has been a painful or unpleasant visit. service team leader normally would not call me with updates, but rather I would have to call him or stop by NO MORE.

I was looking for a 2016 Mazda Miata MX-5. I called dealers within an hour drive since it would be difficult for me to get someone to drive with me to pick the car up if it were more than a 1 hour drive. Sales people at other dealerships either didn't call back or the dealership didn't have one but would not take the extra step to help me locate one even though I was ready to buy. But when I called Goodwin and talked to David--he made it all happen. He gave me all the information I needed about the car and negotiated a good price especially since it was the only Mazda Miata MX-5 in the State of Maine. He then went above and beyond! He connected me with finance, took a deposit over the phone with my credit car (not usual) and because Brunswick is several hours from my home he offered to drive the care to me! I now have the car and its fabulous. I highly recommend Goodwin and give even higher marks to David who will make it all come together for you if you are interested in buying even if it's a bit challenging. Thank you very much David.

This was my first time buying a vehicle at Goodwin Motors in Brunswick, and the experience was great right from the start! I saw the vehicle online and inquired about it through their website. I spoke with a lovely young woman, Jessica, who was able to get the car moved to Brunswick for me from another location the same day we spoke! This made a huge difference for me since I live very close to the Brunswick dealership. When I got to the store I met Ryan James, who I believe was the manager. He was wonderful! He set me up with a salesmen, Dave Searles. Dave was great as well! He went over the whole vehicle with me and even assisted me on the test drive. They let me drive the car home to show my husband, which I also really appreciated! They cleaned the vehicle, did paperwork, and even helped me get my insurance set up. All very quickly I might add! A wonderful experience - I would recommend them to anyone!

My dad was a car salesperson for over 40 years and my mother has worked in auto auctions for over 20 so I am no novice when it comes to car shopping and buying. My husband and I did research ahead of time online and came prepared for a deal on a specific car with minimal haggling or searching. Dave Searles was our salesperson and got to work straight away- no showing us other cars, no upsales, no funny business. Our only complaint was that we wish we had gotten more for our trade but that was limited by our car's age and we didn't want to wait to sell it privately. If you know what you want and don't want a bunch of extra speeches and upsells, Dave is great.

i walked into goodwins today hoping to buy a truck i met Dave Searles in the parking lot he introduced himself and was very professional. all the way from his appearance to his attitude he was very friendly. he had a couple customers that he was juggling between but made sure everyone got adequate attention he helped me immensely with my wanting to impulse buy he talked to me about different options and worked with his office very well to find me something that would fit my needs and my wallet. this was the greatest experience i have ever had at a car dealership.. i believe dave searles should receive a raise/bonus for the way he works.i am completely satisfied with my 2015 chevy sonic and i plan to continue to do business with goodwin motors in the future

I headed down to Goodwins Chevy to look at a used truck but ended up leasing a 2015 Silverado instead. I was so impressed and pleased from the moment I entered the showroom. Mark was above and beyond helpful and set up us up with Evan Paione who did a thorough job explaining our lease options and was masterful in his delivery of the features of the truck. He went out of his way to pull up two trucks to do a side by side comparison. Mark and Evan made us feel at ease in our buying process and I would highly recommend a visit to this dealership.

I have bought two Mazda's from Evan. He has been super helpful, patient, down to earth and fun to work with!! They called me about a Mazda I expressed interest in on their website. I stated I didn't think the sale could happen after a little research I did the day before. Derek advised Mazda has some promotions going on for the vehicle I was looking at and they could work something out. As this is an hour drive for me I expressed the importance of being fairly close on numbers as I didn't want to waste anyone's time. I let them know what I have for a trade in and my price range I was looking for again. He expressed confidence in a possible deal. So the next morning I packed up the family and made the drive. We take a couple of cars out for a test drive and decide we want the car originally interested in. Mind you, we are current Mazda drivers and a fan of the brand. They come back with a number so far off my original price range I knew nothing can be worked out. I stated this to the sales rep who also confirmed my thoughts. I advised the individual of the call I had with Derek. He said "Its Derek's teams job to get people in the door." Needless to say I wasn't happy with that response. Time was wasted and trust was lost. I will not return to this dealership as long as it is their practice to do whatever it takes to get people in the door.

When I came to look at SUVs Dave Searles came out on the lot and immediately asked if I had any questions. I did not have to wait for anyone or ask someone to look at the SUV. He was an excellent sales representative. He worked with me to educate me on the SUV that I was looking at. When it came down to pricing he was able to work with my budget. He was extremely patient with me while I kept going back and forth on my decision. He answered all my questioned and reassured me that I can come back to him if I have ANY questions. My husband and I was looking at many dealership we got a lot of run around form other places and they didn't seem to go way beyond like Goodwin to find what we wanted in are price range. After try one after another truck it seemed like no hope we was going to find one but Dave Searles didn't give up on us. He found one at their other stores and called us and he promised that it was what we wanted in are price range and it would be there in the am. Well he was right we both fell in love with the truck and bought it. I'll definitely put it this way I wasn't a chevy person and now I won't go anywhere else besides Goodwin to buy a new truck/car

My wife and I visited Goodwin's Chevrolet a few weeks back on a Saturday afternoon. We came in when they had just closed but Sales Manager Ryan James and Salesman Dave Searles stayed late so we could test drive a new Tahoe. We came back during business hours the next Monday and they were able to find us the perfect vehicle with every option we desired. They went above and beyond to get the vehicle from upstate New York! He answered all questions we had satisfactorily The staff was patient through the process. 3 weeks after the purchase I noticed the vehicle had no radio antenna, I returned to the dealer and they fixed it at no charge.

I had recently learned that the repairs to my older car were going to be extensive so I was in the market for a newer vehicle. My son advised me to look for a new car so when we visited Goodwin Chevrolet we already knew that we wanted to look at a 2014 Chevy Equinox. Jody Lowe met us at the door and proceeded to give us all of the information we needed to make a good decision. He was unbelievably patient as we wanted to see how the car handled on the highway at higher speeds. At the end of the day we still had not reached a decision, but Jody persisted and the next day we returned and bought the beautiful red Equinox. I would recommend Jody and Goodwin Chevrolet to anyone.

My wife and I decided to trade our two vehicles. We were also thinking about leasing one of the two replacements. We met with Dave Searles and told him about what we were hoping to accomplish. He worked very closely with us and we bought a used Chevy Equinox on one day and leased a Mazdz 6 on the following day. Dave and everyone else at the dealership that we worked with were very professional and easy to deal with. They gave us what I thought was a fair price for our trade-ins and we are quite happy with both transactions.

This had to be the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever experienced. It was the fist time that we didn't have a sales rep hovering over us pressuring us to buy! We showed up late on a Saturday just as they were closing up. Our sales rep Dave Searles asked if he could help us, and we told him that we were just looking. He asked what type of car we were shopping for and showed us what they had on hand. He apologized that we couldn't get into the cars because they were closed for the weekend. Never the less he stayed and answered all our questions. He gave me his card and asked if he could call us on Monday. I was reluctant to give him our number because we had been hounded by other dealerships for weeks. He excepted our wishes and didn't pressure us. That was a big plus for us. We returned that Monday and ended up buying a car. We were so pleased with the service and professionalism. We mentioned that our son was looking for a van. Told him what he wanted and he happened to have one on the lot. I Called my son and he made a second sale the same night.

my wife and I have done business with goodwins in the past but rarely with their service dept. I brought my wifes van in to have it looked at for a starting problem.I spoke with a guy named rick who assured me they would look at the vehicle and call me with an estimate the same day.. well a couple of hours later rick did call me and told me the bad news that my wifes van needed a couple of thousand dollars worth of work. it needed a new fuel pump and a lower intake manifold gasket. I thanked rick for the estimate but decided it just was'nt worth fixing for that amount, which I thought was extremely high. so the next day me and my wife went down to pick up the vehicle and to purchase a preowned vehicle we had seen on line at the dealership. Here's where the problem started, I spoke with a service writer about picking up the van and was completely taken off guard when he told me that there was a charge of about $150.00 for looking at the van. That to me is highway robbery, being a certified mechanic myself I know that time was involved, but $150.00 and then not fully explaining this charge before hand is to me dishonest. the service writer rick knew that i was clearly upset but did nothing than say " well time cost money". needless to say we did not buy that vehicle from goodwins, I did call the dealership after getting home and spoke with their service manager chris who promptly agreed to refund some of the money via a check which I do appreciate. but unfortunately sometimes you only have one chance to make a first good impression. After explaining this to my neighbor who was also going to go down an get a truck from goodwins he also decided to purchase from another dealership. My family has purchased several vehicles from goodwins, but from now on we will no longer do any business with them , dishonesty and price gouging is something that I will not tolerate as a working man. This dealership should be trying to help people during this recession not trying to rip them off. buy elsewhere and definitely get your service elsewhere. there still are some honest dealerships out there unfortunately this is not one of them.
