I purchased a new silverado. A week later I received a new contract in the mail completely revising my deal. When I contacted the dealership - the sales manager Eddie threatened me and said if I did not sign the new contract my new vehicle would be shut down by on star, located and towed back to the dealership. The sales specialist, David Cruz, was awesome. He knows EVERYTHING about all Corvettes since the beginning of time. Very friendly, accommodating and FAIR. he did not jerk me around or waste my time. He gave me the best price in town. He was so good that I went in to buy my son a camaro and by the time I left I had bought the Camaro AND a Corvette convertable. I was delighted with the experience. Finance manager, Mr Nieves, was also great. Really knows his stuff and made the process quick and painless. Very gentlemanly demeanor.

I bought them my car 9 months ago and they told me it was covered "from bumper to bumper" but it looks like the only things which are between both bumpers are the fluids and filters, the rest must be outside! The first time it had an acceleration failure and I couldn't work the whole day (my car stayed there for 6 hours), just to clean the injectors which, of course, are out of the bumpers. Besides, they lost my car's keys and I had to go there with my other keys set. Second time the car sent me a mesagge of "power steering service" but they told me that I had to change the battery (which is also out of the bumpers) and they charged me $160 for it, 50% more expensive than other stores, then I wanted to buy it somewhere else but if I didn't buy it there, they would charge $80 just for the test! You know what? I won't go back there any more!!!

The dealer is great, but as for the service time and wait that is another story. I've done 2 services 1st one at 7am and second one at 10am and the delay was about 5 hours. I couldn't understand why for my first visit I was the first car there and the second visit I understand why, but still 5 hours that is abusive.... other Chevy dealers have a lesser wait time. From my personal experience.

Since I bought my Cruze there in 2012 I never doubt to service 'HIM' at Grand Prize. I'm 62 years old, and I had many cars in my life but the service, professionalism and customer support that they give me all the time is incredible. I never experienced it as I do now. I know I will be taken care of from the time I drop the car off, to being transported back and forth to and from work to get the car when it is done. Awful experience. I bought a new truck and a few weeks later I had to take it in for service. My salesman offered no assistance and had no knowledge of the vehicle. He could not even connect the blue tooth for me or tell me how to operate any of the other features on the vehicle. Terrible customer service. A new car should not have to be brought in for service so soon after the purchase date. Take your money elsewhere. It will not be appreciated here.

My experience with the service was ok. I was helped. Just I would like to touch on the fact that it was my second time for the same issue. The first time I came it was for an issue with my transmission; Chevy told me that it wasn't with a "Vehicle Diagnostic" and that it was a sensor on my brakes that was sending a signal to the transmission which is why it broke down. I ended up having to pay for this problem because it wasn't under warranty; which I feel it wasn't fair and I spoke to the Service Manager stressing that. All he told me was that he had to investigate and later told me that it was separate codes this time. Second time I was told again with a "Vehicle Diagnostic" that it was now the ECM or Modular that wasn't having my car shift properly. The only difference was that someone test drove my vehicle ruling it out as the transmission. I just feel like it was very unfair for me to had pay the first time for the same issue that it happened again.

When I called to make the appointment, the customer service rep told me that Thursdays were slow and the oil change would take one hour, max. When I got there the service rep told me about 1 1/2 hours. And that if I wanted the car wash, then it would be longer. If I couldn't wait, then they couldn't wash my car. It took much longer, over two hours, and no car wash. I'm not satisfied with the time that the customer has to wait. Definitely an area that needs to be revisited.

When I arrive early other customers lept ahead of me each time without the service assistance knowledge it would be quite beneficial to have a ticket apparatus placed in the service driveway to alleviate the impoliteness of others that rise to receive your quality service. When my truck was returned a coffee cup was in my console and my radio station was changed (would have nice to return back to my favorable station) and my car was sprayed but not wiped. Told the service agent not to wash my truck because I had washed and cleaned it before bringing it in. My service agent is highly proficient just want the mechanical department to tidy up their presentation.

My third tailght on roof was cracked were they tightend down screws to tight when truck was made that it cracked , your service dept replaced light and messed up the gasket when you went back with new light , this caused a water leak in my cab of my brand new Duramax Truck which still smells like mold & mildew today , lost my new truck smell, did,nt know we're water was coming from till my daughter was in the back seat and told me , this kinda sucks being a new truck !

The service coordinator was polite and tried his best to assist me and I appreciated his efforts. However the mechanics in service technicians returned my vehicle to me dirty marked up on the inside and spare parts left on the floor of the vehicle.

Although I was satisfied with the attention given me by my service advisor, I was disappointed in the amount of time it took for the work to be done. I came in just to have a front bumper tag holder installed, (which I thought should have been on the car when purchased) it took about 2 hrs. to do so. And on the front tag holder, I'm at a loss as to why it wasn't installed at purchase. Are we in Florida being punished in some way? Auto's sold in States requiring dual tags are not sold without the tag holder just to be charged the better part of $100.00 to have it installed on vehicle. I find it quite unfair.

Immediate service, I was test driving the truck I wanted to look at in 10 minutes, I went back to get an out the door price which I got in 15 min and no run around, the finance department gave me my options clearly. I did come back to get a bedliner installed and that went just as well, 45 minutes, just long enough to think about getting the Z28.

Tabatha Barker was very nice. She was on point with my appointment. I just wish it wouldn't take over an hour to get the service done. Its an oil change and rotation of tires and with an appointment, the customer should be in and out. Also, the mileage documentation is not accurate. At this very moment (04/15/2015 at 9:13am) I have 5,179 miles and my receipt says 6,000 miles. This can be a problem later on if an entire 1000 miles are being added to my mileage. I did call Tabatha and she took care of my issue with the mileage right away. She is always so polite and professional. Happy she is my service writer.

My experience with my sales Representative was beyond excellent. David , my sales rep is by far the best car salesman I've ever dealt with but as far as the service/repair department was by far the worst experience I've had. I went to get my car checked for a problem and all they did was put over 20 miles on the vehicle and use all my gas. Granted they couldn't find anything wrong with the vehicle but maybe if they would have paid attention on how I instructed the way to recreate the issue it could've been a different outcome. Long story short David (my sales rep) went above and beyond for me even after his job was done. Repairs/service on the other hand is horrible, long wait times , not listening to the customer, and flat out waisting my time. It just felt like a complete waste especially since I work overnight and had to be dealing with this during the time I usually sleep.

My lease has a maintenance plan of 2 years and the service rep was great, attentive and straightforward. The shuttle guy that took me to work 'Danny' was excellent. Unfortunately, I understand that the courtesy car wash is free but they did a horrific job. I should've taken pictures but they did not clean off the dirt from the runners nor the open wheel area. A little water pressure would've taken it off. Don't offer a free car wash if it is going to be half done. Thanks.

Smooth purchase. Kavon was very accommodating. I was sick and attached to an IV. Kavon did most of the deal over the phone. I had 60 minutes each time to test drive and then on the second vistit sign the paperwork. Grand Prize made it work. Amanda, your service person was very pleasant when taking in my concerns. The buying experience was okay as well. The sales person could be a bit more polished but I recognize that he seemed ill and was not feeling well. Overall, he tried very hard to service us well.

For serveral weeks my wife and I were searching for a car online and have visited several dealers , but after weeks of searching it seem hopeless. After visiting the other dealerships it became clear that many of these sales rep did not care and just wanted to sell me used cars with very high mileage and high intrest rates which did not make any sense so at this point we gave up. The following week we spoke to a family member who resently purchased a chevy Volt. Not only was she happy with her purchase she was happy with the rep as well. So with that in mind we decided to visit the show room at Grand Prize Chevy Dealer. Once we arrived we spoke to Mr. kenth Darien who i can say was not only respectful but totally profesional and very informative regarding all the cars within the show room. This was so important not only to me but to my wife and for this reason we decided to purchase a new SUV. Since we were so happy with our new purchase that night we decided to to go back 2 days later and purchase new car for our duaghter as well.. Went in for a factory recall fix. On a busy saturday around 11:00 am. They informed me that, regretably with the volume of customers that day, they estimated around a 2 hour completion time. I got my car back in an hour. The customer waiting lounge is very comfortable, I fell asleep for a while there.

I felt like the dealers tried to high ball the negotiation and come in at a higher level than advertised on websites that I researched. Only after revealing my information did they begin to have some room to negotiate. Overall they were amicable but just took much longer to come to a deal than I thought was necessary. They are obviously trying to make commissions which I understand but they left very little room to negotiate the deal.

Grand Prize gave me a very good service and have very good and friendly people. I only have one question that I did not make the same day of the service because I had to go to other place very quick:Why the procedure for the tires rotation were different compare with the traditional I know, this means, the rear wheels passed along the same side to the front and, the front wheels go back but on the opposite side. For my Traverse, front tires went back on the same side, not switched sides, or not crossed. I know this because I marked each wheel to verify the rotation after I receive my Traverse, this due to Grand Prize do not allow customers to enter to the working area.

I emailed and spoke with Kavon Kousari several times before flying to Miami to look at a BMW and purchased it. Mr Kousari also worked with me on getting the car financed before I arrived. He picked my wife and I up at the airport as well as offered to take us to a place to eat before going to the dealership. After driving the car and inspecting it thoroughly, I decided not to purchase it because of several defects that weren't displayed on the website. After informing Mr. Kousari that I wasn't going to purchase the car, he still allowed me to used his computer to purchase airline tickets to return home and took us to a store before taking us to a hotel. Everyone was exceptional. My truck was ready on time as promised. Lastly, while my truck was being serviced I was looking for a new vehicle. While salesman Khosrow Robati was planning on showing me the new vehicle I accidently spilled complimentary coffee on a brand new sportscoat I was wearing. Mr. Robati insisted on getting the jacket dry cleaned for me and had it delivered to my house the following morning. All I can say is wow! In an industry known for B S artist that guy is unbeliveable. Unfortunately the vehicle I was looking for silverado 1500 Crew cabs 4X2 LTZ with 6 1/2 foot bed, was currently out of stock. Even the manager Manny checked but they were out of stock. Well maybe next time. But thanks for the great service.

I had a horrible experience in the dealing with a used car. We were looking for weeks on a good used Chevy Cruze for my daughter. We thought we found it a Grand Prize. I went last Saturday to look at the car and negotiate a price. The car was still on the lot - untouched - not clean or certified. We let them know that we were very interested and asked if a deposit would be required. After something like "you could but not necessary" and "don't worry about it" we left. I called very shortly after and asked when the car would be ready and would call again on Monday which I did that early evening - the car was still not quite ready. When I called on Tuesday, I was informed the car was sold later that Monday night. The car would still have been untouched and not ready sale if we our insistence was not taken seriously for a serious buyer. My daughter was very upset as I was also. It was to be her first car. You would think that communication would be much better at (not so) Grand Prize Chevrolet. I guess the almighty dollar is more important than customer service. I have since spread the word of my experience and will never buy a car from such un-professionals. Instead, within a couple hours, I went to another dealership and plunked down a deposit on a similar car. I have looked at and bought many cars over the past 30 years at different dealerships. Grand Prize is one I will never look at for sales or even service.

A shifter cable was replaced because it broke. Car Has only 29000 miles on it. The cable part retails at $70 to $90 and quite easily installed though it took you a day and a half to get it done with the part in stock. My charge was $536.00. Would you be a happy customer?

Brought my truck in because it had a check engine light on. The service rep offered to have my oil change and safety check since I was with in range for it. I was given a ride home and picked up when the truck was done only 3 hours later. Great service! This was my first time dealing with Grand Prize and I was extremely satisfied. My service advisor is Scott Erickson - I brought my 1997 Chevrolet Malibu in because my a/c was not producing cold air all the time. Scott was very patient in listening to my explanation of the problem. Grand Prize mechanic checked out the a/c and found no problem. Scott(Grand Prize Chevrolet) did not charge me for this service. I found their honesty of finding no problem and not charging for service render really nice. Thanks Scott (Grand Prize Chevrolet).

Both Julio Hernandez and carl in finance were very professional and courteous. They both had a "no-nonsense" attitude and were very helpful. Because of these two professionals, I was not only extremely satisfied with the purchase of my second new Chevy pick-up, I was very satisfied with the relatively short amount of time I spent at the dealership. All aspects of the sale were thoroughly explained with smiles on their faces. My last Silverado was a 2007, I planned on keeping it forever. Unfortunately, an accident took it from me. I plan on keeping this 2014 Silverado for ever, but if I find myself needing another, I will definitely visit Grand Prize Chevrolet again.

Only one suggestion: Delivery the cars washed, it does not matter the work were by warranty or paid, in my case, a little grease were left on the hood and left fender, additionaly, dust in all the exterior.

I tried to trade my Corvette in but i was told it was not worth much and had to be wholsale since it was in two wrecks. After first wreck that had no visible damage except a license plate that was dented you inspected the car and found not damage. The second wreck was repaired by you at a extreme cost. If you repair a car i would think it is up to GM standards and should be of a lesser value. So thanks for deceasing the value of my car. Rey is the greatest employee. Your rational of how to treat a prospective purchaser is questionable.

My last visit was related with some defects on my Traverse 2014. At the end the things went good but at the beginning not. The first answer of the mechanic was, everything must be good, we can not change the design, etc. When the manager intervened things improved and are on track to reach solution while the parts required. I think you could believe in customer that could have valuable information for the dealer and for GM.

I was very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the service rep that greeted me. This was the initial service for my car so I had no previous experience with Grand Prize service. The process was as quick as he said it would be. However there is apparently a part on order to repair the seat belt that I assume will require a return visit but that was not addressed by the cashier nor was I directed to discuss it with anyone else. I realized this when I got home and looked closely at the paperwork I was given. If I do not hear from Grand Prize in a couple of weeks I will call to follow up on this.

David Cruz, was very instrumental in getting me into a brand new Volt at a price that I could afford. I started looking last year but was not ready to pull the trigger. Other dealers couldn't match the courtesy and respect that I was given as a potential customer. They weren't pushy and obnoxious calling and emailing me every day. David treated me like more like a friend than just another customer. When I made my decision and was ready to get the car I was in and out of the dealer faster than any other time I have purchased or leased a car. When I ran into some financing issues that might have delayed or impaired me, David and Gus from the financing Dept assured me that everything was OK and I shouldn't worry and bent over backward to get me the Volt I wanted at a price I could afford. The Volt I leased is an amazing car, though I have only had it week it has already surpassed my expectations of what a hybrid should be. It is literally the coolest car I've ever had the pleasure to drive (Hybrid or ICE). It has also completely changed my opinion of GM as an American car company- The Volt is a game changer and an excellent example of outstanding American design and engineering that is actually affordable, especially when you consider all the extras like 3 years of free OnStar and 2 years free standard maintenance! The repair center is always busy, which I guess is a good sign as people keep coming back. The hardest part here is getting your car written up as there always seems to be a long delay. Once that is done the service inside is done relatively quickly and the cashier always tries to maximize you savings if you bring one of the coupon cards. She will use the one that gives you the max discount and give you back the card so you can use the other coupons on your next visit. In general great place, just wish the actual write-up of the ticket could be handle a bit quicker.

The repair on bearing was great ... The air bag issue has been ongoing and will need to be determined with time.....The service writer is very helpful and gets it done. The fact that the car has airbag issues is General Motors lack of quality as is the odor from air conditioner on the 2010 Malibu's.

I was commended by the head mechanic for bringing in my car when I did for what I thought was a minor problem. As it turned out, there was a more serious problem that was discovered. I am so grateful for the meticulous inspections that are done whenever I bring my car in for servicing. Your mechanics give me a sense of reassurance that my car is being well taken care of. My husband used to do alot of the maintenance on all of our cars. Since he passed away almost a year ago, it is a wonderful feeling that I have found someone whom I have found to be honorable, trustworthy, and treats me fairly.

Over all my experience was very good I arrived at the service area at 3:10 on a sat for an oil change even though it was late they still took me in and did the service the only thing I could suggest is if there is one that exists a low profile lift for the low cars that come in I'm sure my car isn't the only one that's five inches off the ground i wasn't too comfortable with the way they lifted my car even though it was done as safely as possible

Scott Erickson was my service rep. He always takes the best care of me when I bring any of my 3 chevys to your dealer. He is super! He always remembers me and my vehicles. He always makes sure the cars are ready on time with every work order completed. Scott is very personable and a pleasure to do business with. He is a wonderful asset to the dealership. George Ruiz the service advisor is always extremely nice, any time I have an issue with my car he is more than willing to get it fixed, no matter how small the issue may be. Alex Garcia the body shop manager is also a very nice person, and does his job very well . I am so far very satisfied with this dealer and I hope it continues to provide such excellent service.

Kudos and carrots to Grand Prize Chevrolet! Sales process was not only smooth and easy, also honorable. Have purchased three cars since 1984 with Broward County dealers. Broward County dealers cannot touch Dade County Grand Prize Chevrolet in our humble opinion. And there facilities are GRANDE' (HUGE) clean, bright, up to date in renovations and upkeep. Well worth the travel from Sunrise, Florida!!!! LOVE :-)

Grand Prize Chevrolet made the car buying experience enjoyable and easy. I was shocked. I dreaded having to go back through the car buying process again. Last time, back in May 2010, we had to buy new cars because our old ones got ruined from a freak 500 year flood in Nashville. Water came up above the dashboards so they were completely totaled and we were out in Las Vegas visiting family when it happened. So we were forced to go buy cars completely out of the blue. Buying a car in Vegas was awful. Those dealerships tried every trick in the book on me. (One of them had their own reality TV show at the time...the owner of one of them was "The Chopper") Fortunately, I recognized the many ploys they threw at me but still, it was a battle that lasted several days. I wasn't trying to cut them to the bone, I just didn't want to get screwed. I managed to make some wise purchases but not after hours and hours and hours of stress. Grand Prize Chevrolet was much different. The whole process was quick, easy and very straight forward. They didn't try any funny business. Boy, did I appreciate that! I strongly recommend buying a car from them!
