Current : This week I picked my fifth Honda from this location, making me a happy leasing customer for over 15 years. My salesman was Al and I am more than happy to recommend him. He brought any vehicle we asked to check out at the front door, ready to drive. The sales conversation was accommodating, fair and stress free. So many of the staff have been at the location for many years so as well as a great place to be a customer I have no doubt it has a solid foundation of staff too, all looking to be accommodating and make the car leasing process smooth. 5/5 for this visit ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Previous : Had multiple vehicles from this location. Sales team can be a bit pushy. When shopping around for a car deal I received 4 phone calls in one day from this dealership. Service is efficient and easy to plan. Shuttle service will take you anywhere and will pick you up when car is ready. Upsell on maintenance is a bit frustrating. Overall I continue to be a customer because I get what I want out of the car experience and am overall happy with their vehicles and servicing. 4/5 for this experience

Revising this review as Google wouldn't let me add another. Just purchased my 2nd car through Andrew and Grieco and yet again- great experience and more than satisfied. Also kudos to Juan Carlos in finance. Talk about a dynamic duo! Worked with Andrew to refinance my lease and service was top notch. Process was streamlined, all my questions answered and everything completed in under 3 hours. 5 stars!

Going to Grieco Honda was definitely the right choice when looking for a new car! Upon meeting one of their salesman Kyle, he allowed the process of picking the right car for what I was looking for to be so simple. He answered any questions I had with confidence and courtesy. Before coming here, I was nervous about my limited knowledge on cars and what was the best fit for me, but Kyle and the team at Grieco Honda laid any of those worries to rest! Will for sure recommend this place to people I know!

Highly recommend! Their inventory is the best in the state it was hard to choose a car so many beauties going for excellent prices! I met with Christian and he made the entire process simple, and quick. The car I ended up falling in love with isn’t even the one I originally went by to test drive- he just knew what fit me! They have my business for life, 5 stars for excellent service

I brought my car in for the airbag recall and they went out of their way to put me into a brand new loaner car until my airbag came in. They really care about my family's safety taking my 2009 CRV off the road and giving me a brand new car for a month. Thanks Grieco Honda!

I went to Grieco to look at a new car. I told the sales lady before showing up there what my credit score was and i also had a co signer if need be. Sales lady told me it was no problem to come down. I ended up going there which is an hour away just for them to tell me that I would never be able to get a new car with my credit score or my co signers score. My co worker told me to go there because her husband was able to co sign for her and get himself a new car and also (from a diff dealer) co sign for her son with a lower credit score then I had. So when I told the sales lady (which was a joke) my co workers name she said oh yes her husband works for a Honda place that's why we gave him the deal. WOW!!!! Funny thing though he doesn't work for Honda or a dealership lol and if he did he could have gotten one himself at his own xxxx dealership! Anyways the same night I got approved for a brand new 2016 fully loaded optima ohhhh and I didn't need a co signer! Thank you Columbia Ford Kia ! I would never ever recommend Grieco Honda to my worst enemy well, maybe my worst haha ...

We took our car in for an airbag recall, and they swapped out our working rear brake lights for burned out bulbs and tried to get us to replace them for $61. While doing this, they broke one of the plastic bolt covers. Even though they are just down the road from our house, we will be taking our cars elsewhere, even for recalls. Completely dishonest.

The sales manager was so rude, and the price changed so much that we just walked away shaking our heads. We called to complain the next day,and got the response that he has been there for a long time.so nothing was going to happen.I have purchased 3 Hondas and will never ever buy from them or any associates they do business with!!!

Went in to purchase a car that was listed online for a very reasonable price. Took the car for a test drive and the salesperson Roberto kept rushing me when test driving. Finally came back and went inside to look at numbers, when all the nwgotiating was done and everything was finalized in the contract they had put the purchase of the car $1,500 more than what was agreed. There was nothing I could do at this point and ended up paying the same same price for the car that they had initially tried selling it to me for. The deal they had online was a complete scam and they will make up fees just to steal your money. AVOID THIS xxxxxx DEALER AT ALL COST. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AT ANY COST.

I had a maintenance issue and travelled to the Honda dealership where I bought my Honda from. I had a question and wanted to talk to a technician. I was told I needed an appointment and to come back later so a Technician would talk to me. I then travelled to Grieco Honda in Johnston. I met Robert Pelcher in the service department. He immediately assisted my needs. Not only did he walk out to my car to give me advice on the repair, but he was able to repair the molding on my new 2016 Honda CRV that day. I can tell you now, I will travel past the dealership where I bought my 2016 CRV to purchase my next new vehicle from Grieco because of Robert Pelcher's efforts. He is an asset to Grieco Honda!

If you are a women do not go here alone! This boys club is disrespectful and rude. Promised one thing over the phone then laughed at once I arrived, honestly I was told "HA" when I told them my current payment. I wasted my time as I was told that they have great deals going on and they would love to chat with me. I have been a customer for 5 yrs. and am very disappointed with the way I was treated., I've had 3 Honda Pilots over 13 years and was looking forward to my 4th. The salesman would not even negotiate with me and said that maybe I should try another dealership to see if they could help me. I have always had a great experience with Grieco, but last night was a turning point. Good luck to those who want to work with them!

Only dealership with no business ethics. Even a small auto shop would be better conpared to these guys. Lost my deposit money as I was shown a car with inconsistent carfax reports and based on false warranty. They spend more effort in laughing and tricking customers and for all other nonsense rather than selling good cars.My sincere suggestion would be- even if you are not getting any discounts at other dealers, stick with them. Dont buy car just for the sake of discounts or deals from an inexperienced, unethical and dubious dealer like GREICO HONDA.

I went in to look at a 2016 Accord V6 Touring earlier and had the sketchiest experience I've ever had at a dealership. I've purchased several Nissans and have never had a dealership try the same sketchy, pressure tactics that Grieco Honda tried today. I went in about 30 minutes before closing, found the vehicle and then had to find a sales person as everyone seemed to be hiding in the back. Once a manager sent someone to help, I provided my license for them to copy so I could test drive the Accord. I then proceeded to wait 15-20 minutes for the sales associate (Roberto) to make a copy of my license. Every other dealership has taken 2-3 minutes at most, which makes me wonder what they were doing with my information. When he finally came back, I was allowed to test drive the vehicle, but was told to "make it a short drive since we are technically closed now." After a short drive just two traffic lights up the road, I decided to return to the dealership. Upon arriving, Roberto said he would be back so we could work out the numbers. At this point he wasn't concerned in the slightest that they were "technically closed." I then proceeded to watch him help other customers into a Honda HR-V for a test drive, despite being "technically closed." While I wasn't a fan of the way that the Accord drove, I still wanted to see what the numbers would work out to. When he came back, he wanted me to fill out a credit application before giving me the bottom line price. I stated I'm not filling out a credit application without knowing the bottom line. He then proceeded to play the typical stealership game of lying to customers as to why they need that information. No other dealerships have ever needed that information until a price was agreed upon. I'm sorry, but you don't need to run a credit check on me until we have agreed on a price and I'm looking for financing. At this point I asked what their bottom line was. He talked to the sales manager and came back with the MSRP ($35,515), after subtracting $500 and then re-adding it to something else. I then proceeded to show them the price that Boch Honda had sent me earlier that day ($29,550) for the same vehicle. Roberto asked if he could take my phone to show the sales manager, I proceed to inform him that it's pass code locked and that it would timeout before he would get there. I was then asked to show the email to the manager, which I had no issue with. After just 5 seconds talking to the sales manager, I could tell he was scummy and would be described by most as a few choice words. He was willing to come down to $30,988. At that point I was done playing their games and proceeded to leave. They told me they wouldn't match Boch because "I'd probably get there and they probably wouldn't match their own price." Ironically enough, Grieco clearly was no better as they wouldn't even match their own price that I was emailed earlier in the day.I cannot recommend strongly enough how far away you should stay from this dealership and the employees who only care about how much money they can make as they rake customers over the coals.Enjoy this honest review Grieco Honda in return for the horrendous experience I had today!

We went to the dealership because they had the exact car we were looking for. We were greeted by a salesperson David. He was eager to help. We told him which car we were interested in and he was eager to bring us for a test drive. After the drive we sat down worked out the numbers and after they cleaned up the car we drove it home. The credit manager was also very friendly and made us feel at home. Most of the other dealer we went to did not have the car we wanted, but said they could get it for us. It was nice to see the exact model and color in stock before we purchased it. Great job David!!!

I (Bob B) just brought a 2014 CR-V three weeks ago on Feb 29th, for $23000+tax. We drove off with that day there was some small issues we had a small chip in windshield and a broken piece of trim/molding on front grill. Sales rep John F was pleasant to work withT. They gave me 20 day temp plates and was to register it at DMV. My temp plates will expired today 3/20/16 and now I can not drive the car. I tried to get this issues rectified prior to expired plates and talked to sales rep also left messages for car repair manager and still waiting. It seems once they get your money you are put on the back burner. I never got a call back from METRO to see if we are happy with car.

After purchasing an Acura MDX in October I recently paid off the note and tried to get assistance with a refund of the gap insurance. Krystal in the business office was absolutely no help whatsoever. I handed her the paperwork from the finance company stating the car had been paid in full but she filed it as the car being totaled in a crash and we were denied the refund. Total incompetence. The manager was even less helpful. If you do end up buying from Metro, avoid contact with Krystal. She is really useless.

Negotiated deal with internet manager and came in the complete paperwork for Honda Finance promotional rate of .9% . Was first told we didn't qualify( they never even submitted the app to Honda Finance), then told that since we were getting such a good price on the car they needed to make it up on the financing, and finally told that promotional rate only applied if you paid full sticker price(a bold faced lie). Two days later we received calls and email attempting to resurrect the original deal. Totally untrustworthy group in my opinion.

Dealer knowingly sold a 2015 cr-v without divulging issues with transmission. The Cr-v shakes and vibrates uncontrollably. This is a well known defect with car that Honda and dealers have kept under wraps. They also have inflated mileage by at least 25 to 30 percent. I would never recommend this dealer or car. I am very pleased with the professional way I was treated by David Apotheker and Dave Veracruz as we negotiated toward a trade in of my 2012 CR-V for a 2016. At no point did I feel pressured, they spoke directly and did not play the back and forth too high too low game I have grown accustomed to when purchasing a vehicle. It was awesome to drive away and actually feel good about the people I had dealt with at the dealership. Well done, gentlemen ... and thank you!

Horrible service from service advisor Donna Koning. She never offer coffe, a coffee, or even the complimentary car wash voucher when I was there. Had my vehicle for 6 hours and when I returned nothing was done to it, supposedly I refused service they saw needed to be done, but only call I received was "my car is ready to be picked up". Asked her why I never was informed of possible work to be done she replied, "due to the volume of customers we had I didn't want to upsell you anything". xxx! So I said you figure you just lie and put on paper that I refused to work anyway. I won't be going there for anything again.

I reached out to Metro Honda last Friday stating an interest in a 2012 Honda Fit I saw online. Melissa responded back almost immediately to ask if I would like to make an appointment to test drive the car. I went on Saturday, and met with Al Fontaine, who walked me through the entire car buying process. I knew exactly what car I wanted and he helped to ensure I got the best rates available. Al, Jermaine and Juan Carlos were all very friendly and and made the whole experience enjoyable. I went with mother to look at the car, and we were relaxed and talking with them as though we had known everyone for years. I definitely would recommend this dealership to others, and already forwarded Al's information to two others who have an interest in purchasing. Thanks again!

First the positive, I test drove the car that I requested to see, it looked in great condition and it drove perfectly. While I am not a huge fan of the Honda engines and acceleration profiles I thought it was a well designed car and was seriously considering buying it. The biggest competition was a 2013 Lincoln MKZ I was considering buying from Tasca Lincoln in Cranston. Now I had test drove the MKZ earlier the same day, in that case when I had gone out with the salesman and mentioned that I was going to be test driving the Accord later that day but thought I would probably go with the MKZ he told me not to be so fast, that the Accord was a good car, give it a chance and let the cars speak for itself. In the Accord test drive on the other hand the salesman did not mention that the MKZ was a good car instead focusing on the negatives such as the increased price due to brand naming and the increased cost of ownership. I did get a small laugh when the salesman was so sure that the Accord was superior to the MKZ that he showed me how much better rated it was on KBB, so he pulls up the Lincoln MKZ on KBB.com and shows me that it only got an 8.9 and how while that is out of 10 it isn't that great a score. Later when I pulled up the Honda Accord on the same site it is rated at an 8.2, and while I don't put much stock in user ratings, he should probably know the ratings of the cars he is selling before pushing me to view a site that is not favorable to his case. This is when the big problem started. I had come in for a test drive and even said at the beginning that I was there to just drive the car and then would think it over. The sales man was obviously pushing hard for a sale and insisted that he get me some numbers for me to check out. That wasn't that big of a problem as I was still considering the car so I said sure he can bring me some numbers. I gave him my information and he went in the back for some numbers. The first set of numbers he came back with were so insulting that I am ceasing all business with Metro Honda due to their predatory practices. The car I was viewing was listed at 21,599 and I had mentioned as such prior to him getting the numbers. When he came back he did not have a price for the car and only a list of expected monthly payments. For a 60 month loan he had an expected monthly amount of $475 and was pressuring me to sign now. Luckily I had some idea of what was reasonable ahead of time and when I double checked the math later the only way I could get there is with a 6+% interest rate and $30,000 price tag. Now I am aware that the $21,599 does not include certification, taxes, registration etc, but all those things combined do not add up to over $8000. This was confirmed when I questioned the numbers and he asked "Oh what were you expecting?" When I mentioned that I was expecting numbers in the $300's for a 60 month payoff he went off and wouldn't you know the next set of numbers had dropped over $100 per month. Now would I like to think they maybe made a mistake and written it up for the wrong car or price? While that is possible I feel he should have had an idea of what is reasonable considering that is his job and that this is a predatory move designed to con the less informed into paying far more than the car is worth. After that the numbers just kept dropping as I stated that I would need to think it over and that I wanted to leave with him pressuring me incredibly to buy that night even though I had already stated that before I would buy anything I needed my father-in-law, who is a third-generation auto body technician and owner of an auto body shop, to inspect the car. By the time I left the amount had dropped to $334 per month, almost $150 lower then the initial offers that had been on the table.Because of this even though I had purchased my wife's Honda Civic from there several years ago, and we have been servicing her car there ever since, I am no longer going to be doing business with your dealership and we will be taking out business elsewhere.

From the moment I walked in the door at Metro I felt comfortable and supported. I was helped immediately by Mike Silva... he was extremely knowledgeable about my Honda accord and answered all my questions with confidence. I showed concern about buying the car that same day because it was dark so I couldn't see if the vehicle had any imperfections, Mike of course came up with the solution of pulling it inside so we had a perfect view of the entire car. While my financing was going through the vehicle was being detailed and cleaned, so I took it home that same day! I was so pleased with my experience and would absolutely purchase another car from Metro. Ask for Mike Silva!!

Ended up taking a test drive while I waited. After signing a few papers, I had bought another car. Dmitiry was honest and helpful and with the help of Jermaine, we agreed to a good deal. One other thing, the final process with the Financial department was one of the best experiences I've ever had buying a car. This is the second vehicle I purchased from this dealership. First vehicle was a brand new 2012 Honda Accord that they gave us a great deal on. My wife and I had such a good experience dealing with Metro the first time, we returned to check out a used 2013 Honda CRV. Let me tell you, the car was immaculate! Not only did they give us way more for our trade than any other dealership was offering, but they also got us a 2.25% interest rate when everyone else quoted us around 4-5%. John Ferrell, the sales consultant, was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The buying process was so easy. It took roughly 2 hours to negotiate the deal, get approved for financing and agree on terms, sign all paperwork, and drive away in our new vehicle... We left in it the same day! The finance manager was also very up front, got us a great rate, and an incredible deal including a bumper to bumper extended warranty to 100k miles -- all for the price we were looking for! I have seen a handful of bad reviews for this dealership and I chalk it up to this: Some people just can't be satisfied. So sorry you had to wait a few minutes to kick the tires on a vehicle you probably weren't going to buy anyway... Do yourself a favor, drop by this dealership and ask to see John. This group went so far above and beyond for us, I would recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family. When we are ready to purchase our next Honda, I will definitely be returning to see John at the dealership! Thanks Metro Honda!!!

After many emails with an associate of Metro in Johnston, I was told there was an HR-V availalbe to test drive. I was told to ask for Jeff. I drove from Barrington area and asked for Jeff. There were no friendly smiles, just a point and nod to Jeff behind the big desk. He glanced up and went back to what he was doing. After a bit he looked back up and said someone would be with me. I waited too long, so I went outside to look around. After about 10 minutes, I walked back to the showroom, a young man came out and said Jeff told him there were no HRV's to test drive. Why couldn't Jeff look at me and tell me what I needed to know instead of letting me wait for about 20 minutes? I will never go back

I spoke to an online sales person named Sarah on the phone. I asked her if they would price match a 2013 Honda that I found at Balise she called me back and stated that manager Richie okayed it and to ask for him when I arrived. My husband and I went and for 2 hours they refused to honor the agreement made on the phone and tried to offer different cars that were not certified. I was then called the next day by another manager that said they could not match the price and I should go back to Balise which I did and I purchased the perfect vehicle. I filed a complaint at corporate honda, bbb.org, facebook and called channel 12 as well as left 2 voicemails for management. I finally get a response on Facebook and a phone call 3 days later saying they would match the price. They don't deserve my business. I was offered a free oil change on my new vehicle which I will not use because I don't trust people who conduct business in this manner. I would never recommend this dealership. If u want a great car go to Balise Honda of West Warwick and ask for Dave Fontaine that is where you will true professionalism and a man of his word!!!!!!

I needed a new car, and Honda was my top choice!! Metro Honda is my local dealer so even though I read some bad reviews I still wanted to try them out because I wanted to service close to home. I walked in on Thursday after work and the first thing I noticed was how gorgeous the dealership was, they have a deli that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner there!!! After I checked the place out I walked in to the showroom and Bo St.Angelo greeted me with a smile. Bo and I sat down and I explained to him exactly what I wanted, He listen closely and pulled up my dream car...2015 Honda Accord EX-L with Navi!!! Bo showed me all the features and we went for a ride...I LOVED IT!!! After the ride we got to numbers part ( I hate this part) but it turned out to be quick and easy, I told him how much I was willing to pay for the car and Bo got the deal done for me with his manager!!! I could ask for a better experience!!! The sales person can make or break your experience, if you ask for Bo St.Angelo you will be in good hands!!!

What a horrible first time experience! I purchased my 2015 Honda Civic from another dealership but later decided I wanted some Splash Guards and a Moonroof Visor. So after ordering the parts from Honda's Accessory website I had them delivered to Metro because it was closer for me. I showed up today and they had me head inside the showroom to wait for them to install the parts. 2 hours go by and I'm still waiting only to find out THEY DIDN'T EVEN START YET. They said "Oh your not checked in yet" My response was "I've been waiting for 2 hours what do you mean?", They had no idea that the car that was just sitting outside doing nothing was my car. They couldn't even find my appointment that I had set up the day before! Buyer or Vehicle Service beware! They are not on top of their stuff!

I would give 0 stars if provided the option. I had purchase 2 Accord's (2002&2006) prior to this particular vehicle (2014) Accord. The car is 1 year old and the air conditioning blows hot air. 1st time I called the service department I was told that it would be $79.99 just to drive the car into the service bay to be looked at. The 2nd time I called (1 week later) it was $179.99 to drive the car into the service department to be looked at. I called and left a voicemail for the General Manager in May....I'm still waiting for my call to be returned. After several arguments the Service Manager finally called me back and said there wouldn't be an initial diagnostic fee but whatever the issue may be he cannot guarantee it will be covered under warranty. They kept the car there for 3 1/2 hours to call and tell me that it was my fault the air conditioning blew hot air because road debris or a pebble must have hit the air conditioner condenser/compressor and cracked it. He said it will be $679 to replace this...Mind you Honda just had a class action suit for this exact issue a few years back for different Honda models). After waiting 15 minutes for my "advisor" to get off of his cell phone, he gave me the keys and said "you're good." I replied with, "Don't I get some sort of receipt or copy of the report?" He was annoyed, but printed it. I ended up at a Lexus dealer, which wanted my business and was actually courteous and respectful to customers. Metro has lost me as a customer, and all my friends and family as well. Like they say, "The best advertising is by word of mouth!"Greco doesn't save you anything...nothing but aggravation, they should be paying people thousands to even walk through their doors!

I drove to this dealership to drive a '12 cross tour (4-cyl) that I saw on-line. I asked the sales rep where it was. He told me it was the one in the corner and walked over with me. When looking at the vehicle, he said that it was a '14. I said that you have a '12 on-line that is what I wanted to see. He asked me what the stock # and price was. He told me that he would find out where the car was. I walked the lot for at least ten minutes. Finally I went back inside. Another salesman asked if he could help. I explained that it had been 10-15 mins and I hadn't seen the salesman. He asked me to describe what he looked like. This is a professionally run organization?? When my salesman returned he said that the car was in fact the car we were looking at and it was just marked wrong (as a '14) on the window. He asked me if I wanted to drive it? I said yes but could we please speed up the process? He took my license. 10 minutes later he still hadn't returned. I asked the sales manager behind the desk how long it takes to photocopy a license and get a key? The salesman returned and said that he couldn't find the key. The sales manager then approached me. I explained that I had been there for over 25 minutes and still hadn't been able to drive the car I came to see! Keep in mind there were almost no other customers in the showroom at the time. Soon after, another person approached with the key. The manager then tried to turn the tables on me and asked if I was in a hurry or if I didn't want to come back when I had more time? Are you kidding me??? First no car, then no key and then it is my fault I was there for over 30 minutes and still hadn't driven a car??? Do yourself a favor and STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!

i have been leasing from Metro since 2007 this would have been my fourth lease for them. I have always had a Honda Accord which I love but I wanted a pilot this time. They told me if I put 2000,00 down it would bring my payment to 435.00 a month. Then when we both went down to sign paperwork and pick up the vehicle they increase it to 441.00 a month, we were okay with that however they did not have the vehicle so we waited for them to find the one we wanted. After three days our sales guys called and said oh we can't do it for 441.00, you are in the high 5's and you don't want to do that. If there is anything else I can do for you let me know. Then I said I will just go somewhere else and buy out the remaining of my lease and he argued with me saying I can't. FYI it's in the lease contract and the bank said I could. Now they don't bother to make things right, I have asked for help returning my lease and they were horrible towards me. Needless to say I was in tears because of them. No one should ever have to deal with that after being so loyal for 8 year!!!

Based on the "final price" advertised on their website, we went to buy a used car, After the test drive we were all set to finalize the transaction and were told the actual price was $ 2,000 higher than was advertised. They said the "final price" was after a $ 2,000 trade or down payment. I looked and looked and cannot find this statement anywhere on the website. I wasted my time and the salesperson's time. They're nice before you sign papers then even sales person ignored your calls, emails. I was unable to reach the General Manager. Every my calls were disconnected or transfer to someone voice mail. It was like going on circle. I don't know how they stay in business. Good dealership build business on referral, repeated customers. I think if the owner get involve in everyday operation to make surehis customers are happy then could be different outcome. Looks to me they doesn't care. They offered $25 gift card just to visit them," no purchase necessary". I bought car & after 5 weeks no card, no response. Ignored me. They promised me free oil change if I give good review. Don't believedthem. I overpaid for car & got for my very condition car lot less then I should get. I'm not coming back.... Went in for oil changes and the head of the sales department would approach me to try to sell me a car. I would get several solicitations in the mail claiming there was a high demand for a 9 year old CRV! The only thing that was in high demand was inflating their sales figures. Last time in for an oil change was the last straw. They tried to sell me tires I didn't need. I guess they figured if the couldn't screw me with a new car I didn't want, they'd try to screw me with unnecessary parts. I went off the edge when I saw the new tires under my car waiting to be installed before I authorized it. "No! Just finish the oil change!" While stewing in the ladies room, i was chatting with another upset customer. Her almost 3 year old car was getting by then $5000 of repairs that were conveniently not covered by the warranty. Two weeks after, I bought a Mitsubishi.

When i arrived i spoke to the manager Richie and got a salesman. Much to my surprize they didn't have it and they tried to sell me a more expensive Hondra CRV. But what really upset me was that Richie gave me such a low-ball offer for my truck an excellent condition 01 Ranger with 55,000 miles that i left. If i were you i'd not deal with them. To start off I was lied to, the car that I was interested in had an accident on it and I was told that the car has a clean carfax and no accidents on it. Later after I paid 1400$ to seal the deal, I was told by my banker that the car has an accident on it. I straight off went to the dealer to tell them that I was backing off from the deal and asked for my money back. There started my woes, just to put in check recall and give me my money back they made me go through xxxx. First of all they never initiate the transfer and tell me that the transfer has been initiated whenever I call them. Ask me to come over during work hours to make me wait at the dealer ship and at the end of the wait they tell me that the money transfer has been initiated and will be on my account in two days. They give me all kinds of reasons for the transfer not being initiated for example, they tell me that the sales manager cant do anything about the refund and I have to talk to the sales representative who I made the deal with. Seriously? Are u kidding me? Sales manager cant do anything about the refund? This happens like three times, I take permission at work to see them and all they do is make me wait and not process the refund. There is a lot more stuff that they made me got through but I don't want to explain all that here. I Still don't have my refund, it's been like a month now that they have started telling me that the refund has been initiated. My advice if you love your hard earned money stay away from this place and save yourself a lot of MENTAL STRESS!

I arrived 5pm and found that they did not have the car quoted, the person who quoted (and who I spoke to at 4p) was not available and they were not ready to honor the quote. It seems to be a ruse to get you in the door for a sales effort. I would not do business with them and recommend other avoid. I brought a CRV into Honda for an issue with the locks, since I was in the area. When I got out of my vehicle, I was greeted kindly and I explained my lock issue and the gentleman told me to leave the keys in the car. I then explained again my car locks automatically, so I can't leave my keys in the car. I should have walked away then. When the first person you meet, doesn't listen and gives their trained statement to everyone, it shows no basic comprehension. A "mechanic" looked over my vehicle for a few minutes after I explained the issue again and did everything I had done already (Totally reasonable). He said that they could not fix it, but said Honda would contact me to set up an appointment with a third party (Great). Days later, I haven't heard so I called the service department back to try to find out the third party, who could fix my vehicle. This time, Chris said he would make an appointment with them for me (unusual to me, but ok). A week later, the third party is supposed to show up to my home but never showed, never called to discuss the issue with my car, cost, or confirm arrival time, etc. I once again spoke with Chris who was apologetic, but couldn't provide a solution or a number for me to set up my own appointment. It's completely frustrating and unprofessional on both the part of Honda and their third party repair company (if that even exists). Also, having a random person appear at your home, without a conversation, e-mail, text (some form of communication) before hand is strange and bizarre to me. With no prior agreement, I would never allow someone to just start working on something and then be expected to pay. I was never even given a name of the company, the person who was "scheduled" to arrive at my home, or even a helpful business card. Had someone tried to help the situation, such as a manager or provided Chris with a solution, it would have appeared like the company cared about their customers instead of doing nothing, but they are extremely skilled in doing nothing, unless you purchase a vehicle. Every time, I've gone there I get little to no help and no problems rectified. I would suggest in finding a local, convenient mechanic, who wants to work.

Unless you are okay with running behind people to get things don like title, registration etc this is the last place I would suggest you go. If you have checked online and decided on something before you go the dealer the first thing they tell you is that the actual price is 2500$ more than that is shown on the website. And that the price listed on the website is a way of bringing more people to come to the dealership. Once you have committed to buying a car with them and processing is done. There ends all customer service. You call and call and call and never reach anyone. There is zero escalation procedure as the sales manager and the registration desk keep referring you back to the sales person who is very adept in ignoring calls. All this doesnt stop them from calling and asking for feedback after the visit. The results of which I dont know what they use for. Even though I am fine with the car I brought, the experience has been worst ever. I am still waiting for the registration of my car to be completed (2 weeks and counting). I am at a standstill as there is no one I can call to or will answer the status. I am not someone who writes reviews very often. At the time I checked reviews, they had mostly good reviews which was one reason that compelled me to check them out in the first place.

Got quotes from five (5) Honda dealers - nobody got near Metro's quote. All the ducks lined up - best new vehicle price, expected trade value, excellent financing, knowledgeable sales person, outstanding customer service. Buying process was completed in just 25 minutes. Very comfortable feeling, no pressure, everything went smooth. Arrived at 1:00 PM, test drive, financed, left with vehicle by 4:00PM. A little bit of negotiation regarding trade in - new what I wanted for my vehicle - negotiated within $250 of my goal. They're always an art in going back and forth, the bottom line is you must leave happy of getting close to what you feel your vehicle is worth, and the dealership would not make the deal unless they're making some profit. Do a little bit of homework, always best to cut a deal at the end of the month, and if its raining/snowing even better.

I had a great expeirence at Metro honda today and I LOVE my new pilot! I was greated by a knowlegable, and professional salesmen who did not pressure me at all. It was a very refreshing change! Rui was great I wasn't looking to buy today but he changed my mind. They had the truck I wanted and gave me the deal I needed. Anthony the finance manager was very professional and nice as well. He was quite patient considering that I had a million and a questions! I would recommend Metro honda and strongly recommend you ask for Rui M.

We had been looking for a newer Buick for a little while and had no luck finding one. My husband was looking online and found one at Metro Honda. We were told about the online price needing to be financed through them. We are from Maine and the trip down was enjoyable [thank God for Tom Tom] and we found Metro with no trouble. We were helped by a very nice young man, Bo, and the finance gentleman took us through everything quite quickly and agreeably. I believe they gave us a fair trade in for our car according to the Blue Book. Everyone there was very polite and courteous. We would recommend Metro Honda and Cars.com to anyone.

I was shopping for a new vehicle, went to Toyota in Lincoln near the mall (rude people there), went to every car dealership on Rte 1 in North Attleboro just didn't have what I was looking for. So I went to Metro Honda in Johnston, RI and was just looking when a sale rep name Michael Silva came and asked if I needed help. Very polite young man who knew his cars and how to answer all my questions. I went back the next day and bought a new 2013 Honda Civic from Michael Silva at Metro Honda a couple of weeks ago. What an experience Michael made shopping for a new vehicle at Metro very enjoyable. Everyone else that helped me to take that car home the same day was awesome. Trust me if you want a great deal and a friendly staff METRO HONDA is the right place to start. THANK YOU Metro Honda for making my experience something I will never forget and I know where to come when I am looking for a vehicle in the future. Keep up the great work. Jeanne from Johnston

Worst ever experience, had a feeling of being cheated and lied to. I emailed, called and got an oral commitment on a good deal. Drove 1 hour to the dealer. The person who gave me the deal (Ariel Cabral) didn't show up. Instead a young man showed up and denied the finance part of the deal. He wanted to force me to finance for 72 months with a high APR, I refused. Manager Veggie (I may mis-spell) refused to admit that we had agreed to finance for 60 months with 0.9% APR. They told me the deal is impossible, no other dealer will get closer to this deal. Well, if you think it's impossible, why did you offer and commit this in the first place? To make me drive 1 hour for fun? I left immediately, and happily made the purchase with another dealer hours later, who offered a similar deal the previous day and honored the commitment when I got there. I would recommend anyone to be careful with Metro Honda.

Saw a vehicle online and should have known to be careful when I read financing must be done through dealership for internet pricing. After verifying the car was in stock I set up an appointment( 1 hour drivefromMA). I get there and at first I am told that they can't find the vehicle and that the internet deals sell quick because of the great price. Then they find the car and after viewing/driving it we begin the "numbers" process. This is where it REALLY went South. They view our vehicle for trade and offer us $600. Now the vehicle is 9 years old w over 100,000 on it, but we have been given two other trade offers of $1300 and $1400 and blue book and NADA are both between 1350-1500 with high miles and fair condition. I point this out to the salesman and he says "Well theres no way we can give you that, the other dealerships must have a higher price of vehicles to play games with trade amount". I say Sir I have bought 4 new vehicles in my life and I have a good friend in the business. I know what pricepoints are fair and the other dealerships were not unfair. He says let me see what I can do. He finally comes back and says the absolutely best is $1200 for the car. I say ok let's continue. He starts with the numbers and gives a figure of about $30/month over what it should have been. I explain that we are actively looking at cars in the same range and that price is off. He dances around and I say what is the finance rate. He plays the game before finally saying 7.9%!! I said Sir we have been offerred, 2.9% from banks, and 3.5, and 3.9% from dealerships. It was evident to make up for the trade value lowball they tried to make a killing on the finance rate. Then the runaround got worse. To lower our payments he tried changing my payments from 5 years 60 months to 66 months(I caught that too). He really tried every trick. After an hour drive and 2 hours and 15 minutes there I simply got up and walked away. BEWARE if looking at internet speacials. They highball finace rates compared to other dealerships to compensate for the sale price and will also lowball your trade. If your an educated car buyer you will see all the tricks first hand! This dealership is the reason why car salesman get a bad name!!

I want to start by saying how happy I am I chose Metro Honda. I did as many do and shopped over the phone/via the Internet, just to come to realization that the "best price" isn't always the "best deal".. When I called around Metro wasn't the best price I got, but at least Ariel had quoted me a price that included my fees (most accurate pricing). The dealer best priced told me they have a large selection AND the specific make/model/color (2013 Crv Exl) in stock, but when i took the trip to seekonk to my surprise the salesmen told me they sold the last one and proceeded to try and push me into a model w/DVD (higher $$) or down grade to a lesser model which I didn't want.. After an hour or so I left frustrated and deside to head to #2 dealer in warwick to ALSO to find out that my Kona coffee Crv Exl could be ordered and SHOULD be available in a couple days.. Or so.. So once again I hit the road.. Frustrated.. By the time I made it to Metro I was tired and quite aggravated, honestly I was apprehensive about even showing up because of the reviews posted.. BUT I will say I am SOOOO happy I did! From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a nice enthusiastic young man (Rui), he was very knowledgable about the vehicle and worked w/me with my attitude and all! He truly worked hard for my business, I give him credit I would ran for the hills if I had to deal w/ a customer like myself! Everything about the buying experience was great, it took a while to get in n' out but it was a Saturday and they were very busy. Time went quick between the filling out of paperwork, dealership tour, customizing my preferences, and lunch on the house (great deli btw)! All in all a great experience, my only regret is that I didn't give them a chance and go there first.. Lesson learned! Hope this review is helpful to you, don't do what I did and listen to all the bs check it out for yourself!

Being a couple of minutes away from Majestic Honda I initially went to them first. I was interested in a civic si they had on their lot. They gave me the run around about my credit followed by a ridiculously high monthly payment then tried to put me in an accord. A car I was not even interested in. I then decided to test waters and went to Metro and I'm glad I did. I'm so happy with my new civic si and my salesman John was great. Even though it was 90 degrees out the dealership was nice and cold and he even bought me lunch at their cafe. As a single mom any purchase can be a tough one and John did great with reassuring me I was getting a great car at a great reasonable price. I would recommend metro to anyone!

The place is a joke. No one knows what;s going on. They promise you something and 2 hours later they it take away. Very sad and very unprofessional. You would definitely be better off going somewhere else. Management doesn't have a clue as to what is going on when calling you to "make things right", which they don't. They all have different stories. Bottom line -- they lie to benefit themselves. Trust me, (and all the other reviewers here), GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT METRO HONDA. I did business with Metro Honda in Johnston, RI on line. I had been looking for a second car a Cadillac pre owned for myself. After numerous searches with other pre owned Cadillac on line, I found Metro had the best one, after setting appointment up on line, On fathers day, I went to their facility in Johnston RI, I was not disappointed, my wife and I were warmly greeted and dealt with a very customer comfort orientated salesperson. The final outcome was I bought my second car, a 2005 pre owned Cadillac sedan Deville, $290.00 below Kelley Blue Book, I also had them provide a Car fax report, The deal was finalized and financing was a breeze, I am now the proud owner of this car and very happy. My other Car I have was purchased through Balise in Warwick and the experience is akin to comparing apples and oranges, definitely will recommend Metro Honda to everyone I know, to them I say do not change anything you have done it, created a wonderful, relaxing sales experience and staff. Thank You ever so much. Ron my salesman is top shelf you are lucky to have him.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this dealership. I was looked for a preowned car and had a certain amount of money I was looked to spend. I explained this to the salesman we met with, and he still tried to show me cars that were higher than the price range I had given him. Since the prices are not on the cars, I asked if he could check the price of a specific car and said if it was in my price range I would like to test drive it. He returned with the keys, and ignored me the first time I asked about the price, and when I asked again he told me. It was over my price range, and he convinced me to test drive another one that was barely in my price range and also not Honda certified (I was looking for a Honda certified car). Car was low on gas so test drive was short and only included highway. Salesman gave me the CarFax to look at when we got back. I was not that interested in the car, and salesman was very pushy. It was clear he wanted me to sign that day and was pushing me to sign, and asking why I was hesitating. I told him I had to go (I had to work that night) and he asked for five more minutes so he could go ask his sales manage to approve a lower price. He came back with a lower price but I still did not want to sign, asked for five more minutes to get a lower price from him manage. He came back, but I still did not want to sign. I had made several attempts to leave, and asked repeatedly for him to call me if his manager approved the lowered price. It was very uncomfortable. As I was finally going to leave, his sales manager came over. The sales manage began throwing out lower prices, and kept asking for me to stay for five more minutes so he could see if he could get it for said lower price. At that point I was so uncomfortable because they were not understanding of the fact I needed to leave that I do not think I would purchased a car from them, regardless of how low they dropped the price. The dropped the price of the car so quickly and readily I wondered if they were actually willing to sell it to me for that price, or had some tricks up their sleeves. My visit was so unpleasant that I did not want to have to go back to that dealership ever, and I certainly did not want to buy a car from them. I ended up purchasing a car from Majestic South, and I had a wonderful experience with them. I would highly recommend Majestic, and I would advise consumers to stay away from Metro.

That is when the place turned into a three ring circus. All these clowns needed was the rubber nose and big shoes. It turned out the quote was an outright lie and the staff extremely deceitful. I am writing this letter to let you know how I feel about you product and services.I first would like to say I have owned a previous Honda back in 1987, when I was in the Marine Corps stationed in North Carolina, and was very happy with it. I currently own a 2012 Civic model and while I enjoy the car and its performance, that is where it ends.I got my Honda at the Rhode Island Metro Honda dealer in Johnston, RI. I purchased the care in January of 2012. While initially I was happy with everything, I had heard on the local radio a deal by one of the local FORD dealers about turn in you dealer not your car. So, I went to inquire about a possible change, as I thought my payment were always a bit high. Well, in talking to the Ford dealer, they thought after looking over my paperwork the I had paid about 10 Thousand dollars over cost of the car. This made me a bit upset, so I called Metro Honda to speak to them; I eventually ended up going to see them. This is where it gets worse. When I went to the dealer, I wanted to speak to one of the managers but ended up with just one of the regular salesmen. He looked over the paper work and stated it looked as if I did indeed pay over cost a total of $8300.00 dollars. All he could do is say was I am sorry, but I didnt do your deal. That was his response to all my questions. I continued to ask for a manager and nothing. I also found out that the person who sold me the car and the finance person had since had to leave as they put it. (I later found out that both of these men had worked together at several dealership and knew each other for years, I wonder why?)Now I know I have not bought a new car in over 16 years and am not ashamed to say I dont know much about buying one, and I know all that Let the buyer beware, and you signed for it stuff as told to me. But I thought I was actually getting a decent deal.Well at his point I wanted to get rid of the car, but could not, I ended up going to another local Honda dealer were they looked over the paper work and said that it did indeed look like I was over charged $8500.00. They said what I paid was way over the actual price for what I got; by this time I was very upset and called back to Metro Honda. It turned out that I was never able to speak to a sales person and the manager never returned my call, this is after several calls to the dealer. The next day, I was finally able to speak to a sales manager, initially he said, I was never in his dealership the day before and no employee would ever tell me that I was overcharged. I finally told him that I was indeed at the dealership the day before and how no one really assisted me. After basically trying to BS me, he finally said to me, and his final words were Looks like you got a good deal, dont let out competition get in your head. He never addressed anything else or anything I tried to get an answer to.I then called your headquarters and complained to your staff and told them how upset I was. The man was very nice but that was it.I guess what I am really trying to say, is that this is not a way to treat a customer or a Disabled Veteran. I will tell everyone far and wide about the poor service I received from one of you outlets and WILL NEVER purchase another one of you products. You all should be ashamed of yourself to have a dealership doing this to a person, who in good faith purchased an automobile from you company. Sadly, to boot, my wife is Japanese, and was more upset then I am. Sadly I am too poor to get a lawyer, due to my $441.00 monthly payments for my lease, but I just wanted to let you know how very upset I am.

Agreed on a purchase and picked the car up on Feb 19th. I had a 20 day permit which ran out BEFORE car was actually registered. Service dept sprayed wheels with a chemical that took the finish off the wheels. Before I signed off on the purchase, I asked them what happened to the wheels. They never made mention to the wheels. They waited for me to inspect car prior to signing off. The car should never have left the dealership with wheels that looked like xxxx. They told me the wheels would be replaced but when I called 2 weeks later, service rep informed me that no one signed off on it. After several calls, wheels were replaced. HOWEVER, they were never cleaned, I had to clean the tar and the dirt off them myself. Apparently one of the excuses is my salesperson was out sick. OK, understandable, but does the dealership shut down when ONE person is absent. You mean no one takes the helm and covers for him/her when there out. NO EXCUSE!!Oh yes, there was a $500 coupon on the internet. When I tried to apply for it, I was told that since I made the purchase already it did not qualify. BUT, the purchase was never final, all I did was put a deposit down. That's when I should have walked away!!!!!!!!!!I'm actually STILL waiting for a phone call from Katie in service dept.My frien told me to go to Majestic. Next time I'll listen!

Went to purchase a used vehicle and was turned away over $500. Talked into Leasing a new vehicle and outcome was we did not sign what the verbal agreement was. They glorified the lease deal and when I went to pick up and sign the final papers, we found out after the fact that the lease was written up not what we agreed upon. An additional paper was "slipped" in to sign having me purchase insurance on the alarm system. really! My fault for not going through the paperwork and just signing thinking we already agreed, it wouldn't be different! wrong! Lying theives! Every time I was in there, there was a customer complaining or yelling at someone. I guess that should have been my clue!I have since traded that vehicle only 1 1/2 years into it because the deal was so bad and I was planning on purchasing it at the end of the lease and I refuse to turn it in at Metro and give them another penny! Oh because they also didn't tell me about the mileage package and gave me 12,000 standard which I know I would go over. The vehicle also had a problem that they would not address and kept telling me it was fine. It wasn't fine and Majestic knew that! just lie after lie.....stay away!I traded in at Majestic Honda who was wonderful and felt bad of my situation and really helped me get into another one.

I just recently graduaded College and am currently working full time while attending Grad School. I was not in need of a new car but was interested and was seeking advice to glance at opportunities. Metro Honda in Johnston had great customer service and really helped me enjoy my experience and ultimately feel like i scored with an amazing deal. They were extremely knowledgable, with quality answers to every question i had and they were very reasonable with me. If i felt forced into something, i would have left instantly but they made me comfortable and helped me make a great decision. Every person i dealt with (Ben Najas, Matt Sousa, Rob Greico, Ricardo Castillo) was very professional and were the reason why I made my decision. Ben thouoroughly explained all the features of the car and helped me tremendously. The car itself, 2013 Honda Accord Sport, fits everything i wanted in a car and the gas mileage is more than great. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for honest, reasonable, educated and high quality advice when looking at buying/leasing a new/used car. Overall, it was a great experience, I'm very satisfied and plan on staying loyal to this dealership, as i'm sure you would too if you give it a try.

We can't say enough about Metro Honda. A class act all the way! As long as we live in Rhode Island we will always have a Honda, and we will aways come back to Metro. When we bought our 2012 Accord, Benjamin was so helpful, polite, and very professional and pleasant. An exceptional sales experience! The service department is great also. We love our Honda!

The team at Metro Honda was superb. Very professional and informed. Answered all my questions quickly and honestly. Juan Carlos my salesman was the best. Gave all the information i wanted and made the process of buying a new car as painless as possible. There was a small problem during the financing process, but after i informed Metro, they fixed it within 5 minutes and i was actually better off than would have been originally. This is my third car that i have purchased there and i will be continuing to go there for my Honda needs in the future. i am a very happy customer.

I went to Metro Honda with high expectations. I went in as a very serious buyer looking at the Honda 2013 civic. I spoke with Danielle over the phone (she was very friendly) and was told I would meet with Ricardo. I drove 45 minutes and by the time I got there my name was not written down and I was passed along to Raymond Santilli. I said I was looking at a honda lx civic in white and that I had never driven one. I had done extensive research and new more than Raymond did. He did not show me the trunk, the engine, or any parts of the car when we test drove. I asked if there was bluetooth, which I knew there was, and he said no, then yes upon my correction. After the test drive I wanted to know specifically what price I could get the car for. Yes, the price for a honda lx civic in white. Why is this so hard? Raymond said "19,755" which is retail price. I asked if there were any incentives or discounts his response: "It's president's month." Okay... so what does that mean? "Up to $1800 off." So i asked specifically for a print out of this deal and he said he could'nt give it to me. I asked for a deal in writing and he said he couldn't give it to me. I then asked to see if they had any other deals to show me and Raymond said there's a book of deals but only the manager has access to it. I again asked if we could discuss deals and he literally said no. I was completely written off, I had no tour of the car/the features, and I will never ever return to Metro Honda. My experience was awful and I was treated as if I were "clueless". Danielle followed up with a call and then gave me a SECOND price saying the car would be $18,700 but that I would have to drive back to the dealership if I wanted a more "aggressive price". What kind of service is this? Why am I the one doing all the work when I am where the money is? On a second note, I went to another Honda dealer and was told a direct price and all of the deals on the computer WITH a printout to take home. As a Public Relations professional, the "image" of Metro Honda is definitely suffering, just look at Yelp reviews as well as the majority of these reviews. I will tell everyone about my awful and rude experience at Metro Honda. Never ever go here.

Had my front brake rotors and pads changed half a year ago. Service rep talked me into getting aftermarket rotors (I wanted original Honda ones), saying their quality is the same as original Honda and I can save some money.Noticed now vibration at steering wheel when braking. Went back at dealership and they told me rotors need machining. What??? Machine rotors after only half year? The original Honda ones lasted me 5 years! After giving them a piece of my mind, eventually they changed (or so they claim) the rotors - which were in 1 year warranty anyway - with another aftermarket ones.Had several issues with them over time (essentially sloppy work that made me come back so they can fix them). Funny they think that offering either free oil change or washing will make up for those.I am definitely NOT recommending them to anyone!

To me I feel the experience of buying a car has a bit of negative stigma attached to it. But my experience at Metro Hobda was anything but that. From the minute the salesman greeted me to the sales manager congraduating me on my purchase, right down to shaking the finance manager hand I was sold on my Metro experience. I am truly a Honda customer for life and a Metro customer for ever!

I've been doing business with Metro Honda for many years. I've purchased and serviced my Honda at this dealership - a 2004 Honda Odyssey. I've always found the team there to be professional, efficient and helpful. When I recently decided to trade my 2004 Odyssey, I was very surprise when I ended up selling the Odyssey......to Metro Honda. After we just received a letter from Metro Honda asking to buy back the Odyssey from us, Metro Honda offered me a reasonable trade price for our Odyssey, Juan Carlos also gave us a great price to purchase the 2011 Pilot from their used car inventory. The price was close enough to my expectations and still allowed the dealership to make a reasonable profit on the vehicle. Juan Carlos Cuellar was extremely professional and straight-forward in our dealings. He didn't waste my time and treated me like a valued customer. I really appreciate his direct approach and strong follow-through. Juan Carlos is an asset to the Metro Honda team. I won't hesitate to do business with Metro Honda again in the near future. Thanks Metro we love our 2011 Honda Pilot.... #1

looking at leasing an accord. I don't want to get into specifics because this is not how I spend my time. I did however notice that alot of people who put these reviews up spend their time reporting in detail the negative experiences they've had. Get over it people! Everybody wants to spend nothing for something and feel like they got a great deal. It is a fair dealership and I reccommend it and will go back.

I went on-line to get a price quote. I was immediately responded to by Ariel. I also did an on-line request through Boch. I was given an out-the-door price by Boch which was very acceptable. I planned to buy there, but was hounded by Ariel who told me they would meet or beat this out-the-door price. As Metro is more conveniently located to me, I gave them a chance. When I went there, Phelan had no idea what Ariel had offered me. This is when the games began. He told his manager Matt what we wanted as an out-the-door price and Matt could not meet the price. When we tried to leave he threw a monthly pmt price at us. Without a calculator available, we thought it sounded okay. He told us that with flex cash and incentives, this would get us to the price we wanted. After agreeing to the deal and completing paperwork, we got home and realized we were paying 1200 more than we had wanted. We spoke to Boch and they told us what they would give us as a monthly pmt and it was much lower than what we were paying. On Sunday morning I called Phelan, explained how upset I was over what I was paying, and asked if I could cancel. He said he would have Matt call me back first thing Monday morning. Matt did not call me back until almost noon at which time he told me it was too late as the paperwork had already been sent in that morning. When I picked the car up, I was assured by Phelan that he had contacted my insurance as they had told me when I purchased it that they would handle all of that. I drove the car home to CT believing this was all set. Later that afternoon my insurance company called me saying they had just received a call from Phelan. I could not believe that I was lied to. I called Phelan back, left him a message about this, and of course did not receive a call back. I was also told that I should be receiving a courtesy call from Metro after my purchase, asking how I was enjoying my vehicle, and 3 weeks later I still have not heard from them. I also was given a temporary plate and was told it would take 7-10 days to get my plates in and someone would call me when they came in. I expressed to Phelan that I had read reviews from unhappy customers having problems receiving their plates and was assured this was only with transfers. A few days before my plates were expiring, I started calling. No one would return my calls. Finally after several calls that week, the day before they expired Phelan called me and said I could pick them up. This was right down to the wire. Overall, a very unhappy experience. Lied to on multiple occasions. Was told by Matt that he would try to rectify this and would speak to his manager, but of course, never called me back. Do yourself a favor and go to Boch or anywhere other than Metro.

I confirmed that the car was there. They told me it will be waiting for my inspection. Confirmed with a email before I left. Danielle Samoorian said make sure you ask for Ricardo (sales manager). Got there and i was told the car was sold. Ricardo tried to talk me into a new vehicle. I went home, took a shower to wash the slim off. I will be telling all my Rhode Island friends to stay far away from Metro Honda, Johnston RI.

I agreed on a price for a CRV EXL with Ariel in the Internet Dept through multiple emails. Price was very good (26800 including destination) if paying cash, which was my plan. Financed price was $200 less. I called Ariel before driving to Metro to confirm our agreement, and to ask what to bring ("A credit card or a check for a deposit."). I was told to ask for Ricardo, a sales manager. Upon arrival, Ricardo wasn't available. Instead, I dealt with an inexperienced, young sales person who tried to be personable. He showed me the car with enthusiasm. However, he kept running to a sales manager for coaching: First he insisted that my "cash" price was in fact a price for a deal with financing. Thank goodness for smartphones; I shared my entire email communication with him to confirm that the higher price of 26,800 was a cash price. Then, he asked for a "commitment" (Metro slang for a deposit), but didn't have a sales agreement. Of course I asked for a sales agreement before giving a "commitment," but was told that Metro does it "backwards." REALLY!!! This was truly sleazy (which I told him). I insisted on speaking to a sales manager, who insisted that the deal must be completed that evening (Oct 31) to get the sale in for the month. My choice was to pay in full with a bank check, or to finance. I had him review my emails with Ariel in the internet dept, which he then tried to reinterpret! After telling him that the business practice at Metro is sleazy, I walked out. My advice....stay FAR FAR away from Metro. Not only did they lose my sale, but i've purchased 3 previous Hondas (not from Metro), and they'll lose future sales from me, as well. I ended up purchasing the car at Atamian Honda in Tewksbury MA at $100 less; the saleperson (Ed Marte) was wonderful; professional and honest. Go see Ed at Atamian instead.

I am a 60+ year old professional who has been purchasing 2-3 cars every 4-5 years for the past 40 years. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered. Despite being told on the phone that they would honor the price and trade-in values quoted by the USAA car buying service, they refused to let me speak to the salesman I was told to contact, they quoted me a trade-in value $8000 less than previously discussed, they told me the 2013 models were not coming out until next Spring, and they insisted the only cars available were the ones on the lot at the time. I walked out after becoming totally disgusted. They pursued me via multiple e-mails, and I even gave them a second chance, only to receive the same rude treatment. I don't know how these people stay in business and I feel sorry for customers who don't realize that they don't need to be treated this way. I ultimately purchased the CRV I wanted, and the color I wanted, from another local dealer, who treated me with respect and gave me the deal I expected.

Buying the car was pleasurable, the expierience afterwards was a nightmare. There was a total disconnect between the salesman, sales manager, and the office people who were supposed to supply the paperwork for the car. We live in MA and need to have the car inspected in MA within 2 weeks of registration. For that we need the title. It took 3 weeks and no less than 8 phone calls to get a title for the car. Time after time we were told the title was in the mail. Finally I begged the salesman to check again for the title. After 3 weeks our salesman delivered the title to our house and apoligized, as the title never left the dealership. He promised us a free Oil change. When we were returning the car for a recall and free oil change. I called for the service appointment. The woman who set up the appointment told me she would verify with Germaine (salesman) to assure my oil change was free. When I arrived to drop the car off I was told no one ever checked with Germain and my oil change would cost $50.00. I was also told "oh we don't have anything to do with that group" Funny, as I thought it was all Metro Honda, but apparently the sales group is another dealer. The oil change, I was given to appease me for three weeks of not having a title and one of those weeks not being able to use my new car as it was illegal on the road in MA. The misleading information for the paperwork snafu buying the car was now being repeated with "my free oil change." I walked away fuming wondering if anybody in this company communicated to each other on anything. The woman I was dealing with in service asked me if I would like to speak with her manager. I said I would love to. She left spoke with him 20 feet away from me and he left without speaking to me and she returned to tell me they would do the recall work but would have to check with Germaine the salesman on my "FREE" OIL change. I explained to her that the woman I spoke with two weeks earlier when scheduling the appointment told me she would do that. She replied "well that wasn't us that is another group....again does anyone that works for this dealership communicate anything to anyone!!!!....In the end I recieved the oil change and the recall work for zero dollars, but why did I have to go through this aggravation, yet again, to get there.....Way to painful to deal with this group to ever go back for another car or recommend the dealership to anyone else...

It seemed fine purchasing my CRV last fall, HOWEVER, they wanted my business and I walked away and they agreed to my price BUT they faked me out and told me I had to pay for an etched number on the windows having something to do with reovery if stolen and they stated that there would be a problem with the police if it was stolen, reported and I didn't pay this fee. I should have said, "No." They did this after I told them that I wanted the "document processing fee" included in the price I would pay. We were considering going back for another vehicle; we're so glad we didn't. I will also go elsewhere for service. I'm tired of the "you NEED to do this NOW" when I am on a very tight budget.

One of the worst experiences dealing with anything in my entire life. Not only would I not recommend this to anyone, I would go out of my way to make sure no one made the mistake of walking into this place.I bought a Used Maxima on saturday, I was told they were going to clean it up and I could drive it away that night... well after 3 hours of standing around waiting to get my financing done, I was told they were too busy and that they couldn't get to me that day.we set up an appointment the next day at 4. I came at 3:45 and waited until 5:30. finally met up with the person... after that I was expecting to get my car at which time they told me a part needed to be ordered for it, I could pick it up on tuesday...tuesday I went to go pick it up and upon arrival I was told they needed to replace the windshield now I would have to comeback on thursday.having already transferred my insurance, my current vehicle was un-driveable. forcing me to rent a vehicle.Currently i STILL don't have my new car and i am STILL driving a rental.

Bait and switch. I confirmed over email that I wanted a base Honda Fit with automatic transmission. They gave me a good price so I told them I'd come in to buy it. But when I arrived they said they didn't have the car. Instead they tried to sell me a Civic - a completely different model that costs thousands of dollars more. I walked out and am never going back again. Stay away.

The worst experience I have ever had at a car dealer! I would not recommend Metro Honda on Hartford Ave, Johnson to anyone. I was shopping around for a new vehicle and stopped by to see what they would offer me for my old vehicle for a trade in. The sales person (Juan) that was assisting me asked for my car keys and took my car to the back so they could assess it. My first mistake. He then sat me down and discussed pricing on one of their Hondas I was interested in. They offered me $1800 for my trade in, ok, but only removed that value from the sticker price. I said, no way, he then came back with a slightly lower price. I still said no. Then another sales agent (Juans manager I guess) asked what price would it take to sell you the vehicle today. I was still shopping around and wasnt set on a model or price yet. He wanted me to commit on the spot, so he kept lowering the price and kept saying said I cannot commit to that. He reached a very low price for the vehicle (to good to be true price) and I final said yes. He asked for proof of a down payment, I gave him my credit card. My second mistake. He then came back smiling and said his manager would not go down that low, so we were back to the price I discussed with the 1st guy. He still insisted on getting me to commit on the spot. I kept saying no. He went back and forth a few times to the front desk, while I was left waiting. I finally go to the point and asked for my car keys and credit card back so I could leave. They kept negotiating and I kept telling them I am not committing on those prices. I was there for about 3 hours. For about 2 of those hours I felt I was being held hostage. They would not give me back my car key and credit card and kept negotiating with the price by bringing it down only slightly. I got up and was going to the front desk and then another guy (3rd sales persons/manager) comes to try to negotiate the price some more. I keep asking for my keys. At this point Im more arguing with these guys than negotiating on a price. The 3rd guy final said he would bring my keys and credit card. He never did, I got up and went to the counter and asked for my key and credit card. The general manager (I think, guy behind the counter) gave me my keys and credit card, but not without giving my crap for not take any of the offers. Far from any professional service, people trying to sell you time share are better.

When my family and i went to metro honda for a car we were greeted with smiles and customer service that is unmatched by no other place of business. Our sales rep really listened to us when we told him what we were looking for and his manager Brandon was extremely courteous while making sure we could come to an agreement on our monthly payment. We were pleasantly shocked to be helped in such manner because we had been shopping for cars for a whole week and until we had bought our car at metro we ran into some really unpleasant people who didnt seem like they knew how to treat people. Thank you metro for doing such a great job helping us with our car buying expirience.

My experience with Metro Honda has been very bad. I got a 2006 used car from them, Honda Civic model. But after 6 weeks also they are not able to provide me the Title for the same and hence I am not able to register my car. On top of it, they are not even in a position to tell me, when would they be able to provide me the Title of my car. This is the worst experience I ever had while buying a car.

What I liked about purchase experience:Got a good price, but was not worth the aggravation had the same offer from another dealer, but went with Metro because they had the vehicle in stock in the color we wanted. What I did not like:WORST car-buying experience of my life (have purchase 8 new cars, including 6 Hondas, since 1998). Started out on a good note with very good internet offer which got me in the door to begin with once I was in the dealership, it was a different story. Told the sales person I had gotten an internet quote and, after she checked the file, said that the price did not include the destination fee I said wrong, the quote clearly indicates it included the destination and showed her the email, which she then agreed with. That was the easy part. Time to look at my trade-in said they would not do it without me providing my social security number (I have never had ANY dealer, including luxury car dealers, request this as a pre-condition to evaluating a trade-in). Sure, I can see if they need a SSN to secure financing, but we hadnt even discussed financing at that point. Once we agreed on the trade-in value, I said let me see an itemized run-down of the deal (price, less trade, doc fees, taxes, etc.) the sales manager said that I would see all the numbers once I got in with the business manager. I asked why cant I see an itemized quote BEFORE I get in with the business manager (I showed them nice computer-generated quotes I had gotten from other dealers without any haggling) instead of numbers scratched all over a piece of loose-leaf paper, which is what the sales manager had given me to that point. The internet quote I had gotten clearly identified the doc. fee as $199 and I asked the sales person several times if there were any other fees charged by the dealer (aside from the usual TTL - tax, title & license). The sales person finally produces the first official looking sheet Id seen all day which included the $199 doc fee, PLUS some other $200 and $25 fees. I asked what these other fees were and was simply told that they were both mandatory fees required by the dealership. I wont dwell on the $25 (Metro-for-Life) fee, but when I finally got into the business managers office, I learn that the $200 fee is for a vehicle Protection Plan which includes an identification number etched on all the windows of every vehicle which Metro sells. At that point (after being at the dealership for over 4 hours), I wasnt about to walk out (which Id threatened twice before) over $200, so I reluctantly signed the Protection Plan agreement. A few days later, I notice that the fine print of the agreement states that it was voluntary and there was a box to decline the coverage. I contacted the dealer immediately and questioned why this fee was mandatory while the agreement clearly states otherwise (I asked them to cancel it and refund my money) their reply was: thats our policy, we etch all our vehicles and cant refund your money. When I mentioned to them that I researched vehicle etching and learned that it is a common scam used to pad the dealers bottom-line and also pointed out that other dealerships had been sued over this practice in other states (google: vehicle etching class action lawsuits if youre interested), I was told our lawyers have this covered. When I tried to negotiate on some accessories (all weather mats, trunk liner, etc), the sales manager claimed the best he could do was offer me accessories at his cost and produced a sheet to show me what supposedly was Metros cost for these accessories. I then produced on-line pricing from a MA Honda dealer for these same accessories which (including delivery charges) were below his cost he said he couldnt match the prices so I went ahead and ordered the parts on-line.In conclusion, while I got a good deal on the car and my trade, I would never again buy another vehicle from Metro simply over the whole sales ordeal and the principle of the matter in that they lure customers in with aggressive internet pricing and then tack on worthless fees (i.e. vehicle etching) as a mandatory item which is not disclosed until they have you ready to sign papers.

I have owned a few Honda Civics in my life and I had the need for a new one. I live close to Metro and thought I could do business with them. After several hours of frustration with dealing on price I gave in and purchaseed it. Final paper work was done and I signed all the contracts. I was out of there within an houre and went home. The next day I went through all the paper work I had trusted them with filling out correctly and (stupid me signed without reading, because I was so tired of dealing with them)found out they screwed me on the price ! I went back to them that day and got no ware with correcting the problem. They are the Worst dealer I ever delt with ..........

I found a vehicle on line that I was very interested in purchasing. I sent an inquiry to the dealership who promply reached out to me, told me it was still available, and on friday afternoon scheduled an appointment for me to meet with the sales manager on Saturday morning at 10am. I live in CT so I had an hour and half drive....I arrived at the dealership promply at 10am. I was greeted by a sales representative; told him I had an appointment with Brandon and he invited me to sit down while he went and got Brandon. He then came back to me and said the vehicle we were there to see was no longer available and sold!! Nobody took the time or had the consideration to call me in advance and inform me it was sold - nor did Brandon even take the time to meet me, acknowledge the situation and take relevant information to find alternatives. My first time with this dealership and I will not recommend them to others. thank you

Metro Honda in Johnston could not made me any more satisfied, after searching and searching the Internet and friends I finally arrived at Metro where they absolutely treated me with excellent service from the moment I walked in. When I arrived I walked up to the greeting area and met with Ben who had a great smile and was prepared to listen to what I needed for transportation. He sat me down interviewed me and moved outside to pull up my new 2010 Honda civic :) after our test drive we came back and he introduced me to Ricardo then Brandon as his managers and they greeted me with smiles making sure if I had any questions they prompted to give me the answers we then got together on price on the car I fell in love with and I drove home that day. I am so happy and will make sure before I exhaust so much time shopping again I come and visit metro Honda 1st to save time and money. The sales personal are friendly and tried to work with us, even though there was not much to work with, pretty simple- trade in a car for a new one. However the sales managers are extremely RUDE!! One even said to both my husband and myself, "We do not need to sell you a car!!" There was a communication failure on all ends, especially when I asked repeatedly to see the final numbers, however I was told we be able to see them once we sat down with the finance personal. I fell that is the wrong way to conduct business!! Worst customer service by managers that I have ever experienced!!! Sales managers speak very unprofessional and downgrading to customers. I sat and watched it over and over again while waiting for my car in service on multiple occasions, however knew we had a good sales person, so tried to ignore it. We ended up going to two different Honda dealerships in RI and Mass, both were very nice and thousands less than Metro Honda!! and we don't bother with Majestic Honda anymore because they lie about their cars and prior accidents...however will buy the car back from you once the buyer figures it out...shame shame on these dealerships!!!

If I could, I would have given Metro Honda ZERO stars. My family and I have been loyal Metro customers (sales and service) for the past 10 years until today. We have referred many friends and family to them. Due to my family's busy schedule, we opted to negotiate the price of a new CR-V online. After a bit of back and forth with a couple of their internet salesmen, we decided to go to the dealership once we got a reasonable quote for the model/color we wanted and an approximate value for our trade-in vehicle. Once we set foot into the dealership-that was when it all started going downhill FAST! Our appointment was made for 9am and when we got there, we were made to wait for a good 10-15 minutes while all the sales people were at a meeting. If they knew they were going to have a meeting-why make an appointment at a time that you can't honor! Finally we met with a salesperson who had no idea of the online negotiations/promises that were made which made the experience sour quickly. So we pulled up the emails with the details for him to view and he ultimately refused to honor them. After a bit of the usual "I have to go talk to my manager" spiel, he told us that the internet salesperson who gave us the quote will be let go because there was no way that the dealership would've ever given such a low quote. Then he tried to convince us that the email we got with the quote was really a form email that a computer spit up. Also, they had promised that the color combo we wanted was available but conveniently when we showed up, it was sold the night before. It got to the point where I wondered if my family and I had "we were born yesterday" stamped on our foreheads. Also, they tried to lowball us with our trade-in by offering us 50% of what our vehicle was really worth. We made it known to them that we were unsatisfied with their offer and ultimately they went up to what the lowest Kelly Blue Book value for our car was but that was only after a bit of back and forth. However, they still refused to honor the price they quoted for the CR-V and tried to strong arm us into accepting the "new deal". If you can't honor a quote or stand behind one of your sales representatives, then don't offer the quote at all! Definitely left a sour taste in my mouth. Both the salesman and his manager acted in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner towards myself and my family. Let's just say-they have lost loyal customers with the way they handle their business and we will NOT be returning for a new car or for any type of car maintenance until they have cleaned their act up. I would rather pay more for the new CR-V at another dealership than to be lied to and disrespected!

I had a great experience with Metro Honda. Kristy Perez and Dewy Arruda were so great to work with, they were honest and answered any questions or concerns I had. I never felt like I was getting the run around, everything was layed out in front of me and I knew exactly what I was dealing with which made this experience quick and easy. I received the best deal and would reccomend them to anyone and everyone. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I pulled away in a beautiful car and look forward to a long relationship with metro honda!

I have given the "great" rating in all categories, because I feel that my experience was exactly that...GREAT! My family and I walked into the dealership on a Saturday morning with our expectations high. I had done all the research on the new CRV that I wanted to purchase and what we wanted to pay and receive for our trade. We ended up getting exactly what we wanted. Both Juan Carlos and Brandon were very easy to deal with, I look forward to a life long relationship with them and the dealership.

I went to Metro Honda after shopping online and speaking with their Internet Sales department. I was a little hestitant at first because of all the bad things you read about online with car dealerships. Metro Honda's staff was not only very helpful, they also put my nerves at ease by being so curteous and knowledgable. The car shopping experience went so smoothly from the second I inquired online, all the way until the end when I signed for my new Preowned Honda Accord! Thanks Metro! You guys are great!

I received a letter in the mail requesting my particular vehicle make, model, and year for trade in. It states "we are in need of these vehicles immediately". The letter states that this dealer is offering 100% of original MSRP when vehicle was new (minus milage and reconditioning costs). The letter describes this as a "tremendous offer", and made a point of stating "Yes, you read that correctly." The offer had a 2 week deadline. My vehicle's original MSRP was $23,560 in 2004. The mileage calculates to $6,875. That would make the trade in value $16,685 minus "reconditioning costs". I went to the dealership to request this appraisal. I explained to the salesman that I was not really interested in purchasing a vehicle, but was curious as to the value of this trade in. If the value is really as described, then I may consider a trade in. The salesman was not at all interested in reading the letter that I received, but ONLY in selling me a used vehicle. The offer for my trade in was $5300. I sarcastically asked if reconditioning really costs over $11,000. The word "gimmick" immediately came to mind. Both the salesman and his manager tried hard to put alot of pressure on me to sign for a used car right then! They became a little annoyed that I would not purchase. I was told that they do not normally run these numbers just for my information. I asked if he remembered that the first thing that I told him was that I was not interested in purchasing a vehicle today, but wanted the appraisal. If they did not want my business, they should have stopped at that time. I could only think "gimmick" and was not at all interested. I told them this twice when I received follow up calls. Two weeks later, I received the exact same letter in the mail again with new deadline dates.

Went on line and offered $18,000 for a vehicle that was listed for $19,988. received a reply back from Internet rep saying "it's the end of the month and we want to make every deal possible, $18,000 absolutely sounds like something we can do". Went to the dealership, took the car for a test drive and then was told $19,988 was the best cash price unless I financed it, then it would be $19,200. I'm good enough at math to know that $19,200 and $18,000 aren't the same! The vehicle also needed back tires but it "passed inspection" so I was told they were fine. After them calling me 10 times later that day, I told them to forget it. They wasted a few hours of my time so don't let them waste yours! WENT TO MAJESTIC HONDA AND KEVIN AND JOE WERE AWESOME!

Did my due diligence before going to the dealership. Back-and-forth with the Internet contact to get the best price on a 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid with Leather & Nav. On Friday at 10am, they had 3 on the lot. (more on that in a minute).Made an appointment to come in; told to ask for Brandon (sales manager) to go over details. So I arrive as scheduled. Salesman (Mark) attacks like a seagull on a cheese-it. Im not worried, because I have an appointment. OK..not so much because Brandon doesnt get involved just yet.OK so I let Mark show me a car and we take a ride. Mark claims hes new and doesnt know much about the car --super, just who I want to show it to me! Luckily I do my research on my own and Im not relying on the salesman. So we come back from the ride and Mark says, OK the MSRP is XXX so.; I just laugh because I say the price is already pre-negotiated through the Internet. oh, I dont know about that; Im not sure.. UMMMwell, I am.. so.. go get Brandon (I may have said that like an hour ago)! Then Mark pulled the old Ill just need a credit card or deposit to show my manager you are serious.. Umm, nope, you dont. Im serious because here I am.. if thats not good enough, I guess well just leave now. Well thats not how its usually done.. hmm.. is that because people are stupid? Youll get money when I make a deal unreal! They honored the internet price. Next up was my trade. They undervalued at first (dont they all!). Luckily I had been to another Honda dealership and had had a conversation with a Toyota salesman (My car was a Toyota) They finally agreed to give me $300 more than the other Honda dealership had offered (without me mentioning that fact or any amount to them). It was $500 less than Toyota would give, but the Prius I was comparing had a higher cost and they do sell Toyotas, where this dealership doesnt..so I was ok with the price. I didnt like Brandon telling me hed probably get 18K for my car and was taking a hit..because I KNOW thats crap my car, loaded, and 2011 will probably get listed for 25k and theyd take 23,800 or so Im OK with them making money, just dont like being treated like Im an idiotSoo back to the color.. Im now looking at the ONLY car on the lot that I want so I say, well 24 hours ago there were 3 and this wasnt one of them.. EVEN if I were to believe you sold the other 3 in the last 24 hours, I think cars would still be physically here (at least 1), so that I could LOOK at it [not drive, just look]!..Nope, according to Mark, I just wouldnt understand there system. Now I have a Masters degree, so Im pretty sure that unless youre a complete liar, I could probably comprehend whatever you want to try to explainHonestly, if you read this far, you are probably wondering why I didnt RUN away. Their Internet quoted new car price was $1300 below the best Honda quote I got from another dealership and the trade value was +300 for a 1600 swing. I ended up below invoice.. 24,845 for a 12 civic hybrid with leather & nav.. (MSRP was 27,520)Im not expecting to purchase from these guys again.. If I do, it will be an Internet negotiated deal with minimal dealing with a floor-guy (I wouldnt even entertain it next time).Looking forward to the Honda Survey..

Don't even step inside! Horrible. Long seedy sales process, then a hard push to sign. When we decided not to buy, they were rude, and impossible to deal with to get your deposit back. Do yourself a favor, never give them your SSN or any money, it will be an enormous headache!!!Also, after they gave us their "best price" they lowered it by 50$ a month when we said we were going somwhere else...terrible

My wife and I were looking at getting a new car, and she was interested in a Honda Fit. We saw on their website that Metro had a few so went down to test drive one. We arrived there 45 minutes before close, and we asked immediatly if we would be able to test drive a Fit that night or if it was too late. The salesman we spoke to said it would not be an issue. So he began doing all the normal dealer things - trying to talk about finances and our credit. We informed him that we have great credit, but that we just wanted to test drive the car. He showed us a new Fit he had in the showroom and said he would have someone bring it outside so we could drive it. Again, we said that if there was not time for this we could come back at a different time. He told us it would be fine. I also said we would be fine test driving one of the used ones he had on the website. He informed us that the used ones were no long on the lot. I then POINTED THE USED ONES OUT TO HIM AND HE TOLD ME THAT THOSE WERE NOT FITS! (We of course, new they were and verified this as we left). We should have left then, but we wanted to test drive the car. So, while we were waiting , the sales manager came over and told us that they could not take the car out for us to test drive because someone who works there wanted to buy it and if we took it out, he would have to clean it again. I again inquired about the Fits on the lot and he assured me those were not Fits (again, a lie). At this point, we had been there for an hour and were past closing time, so we just went home and went to Majestic the next day where we had great service. I don't know what signal we gave Metro that led them to believe that they did not want to do business with us, but clearly they had no desire to work with us, so we gave someone else our $17,000. I would stay away from this place.

First I would like to start and wish there's a negative rating option...since this dealership doesnt even deserve a 1 ratingSecond, Phelan Dussault is the name of a sales agent, that people should stay a mile away from. This guy wasted 4 hours of our Saturday afternoon. My wife and I were planning to surrender our 2009 Honda Civic which we leased for 3 years. It has about 18000 miles ($2,700 penalty) over the limit, so we were planning to just purchase the vehicle to avoid the over the miles fee. This Phalen guy lied to us and told us that we wont pay the over the mileage fee if we lease a new 2012 Honda Accord. He told us to drive back home and get our civic (30 mins each way).So when got home, I quickly went to a very reliable forum that I go to which shows the best deals for Honda Accord leases, and I wrote them down. Then drove back to the dealership.I showed him what prices I wanted, and if they can match them. I told him not to waste my time, and just give me an answer. He did his tactics and After 4 wasted hours, we found out that he will still charge us those 18,000 extra miles. He was also pissed off that I am a smart consumer who knows the best deals for leases of Honda Accord. He makes me and my wife feel bad that we shopped around and searched online forums about best prices and deals for 2012 Honda Accord. When we're about to walk out, he asked us to stay so we can talk to his Floor Manager. This manager want to talk smart to us. He even mentioned to us that either way ...surrendering the leased vehicle OR purchasing the leased vehicle at the end of the lease, that we'll pay the 18000 miles ($2,700). I straight up told him, that he is wrong, that we will not pay $2700, if we purchase the vehicle after the lease. That 3 honda representatives verified this. So this floor manager shut up, since we know what we were talking about. So We walked out from that dealershipAnyways, this dealership doesn't care about their customers...even if we already leased two vehicles from them. That night I searched a nearby dealership and saw Herb Chambers in Seekonk, MA. The google reviews were 4 stars.........while Metro Honda has ONLY 2 stars. The reviews about Metro Honda was very similar to our personal experience. So the following day, we checked out Herb Chambers in Seekonk MA.The reviews were correct!Herb Chambers trumps Metro honda night and day!The buying experience was awesome at herb chambers. We ended up trading in our 2009 Honda Civic and 2011 Honda CRV to our brand new 2012 Honda Accord SE and 2012 Honda Pilot Touring.Good bye Honda Metro....you'll never get our business again, especially to Phalen :)

I went to Metro honda today to look at a new ridgeline and trade in my two vehicles. I was greeted very nicely at the door and was offered a beverage. Once i told the sales person what i was interested in they took the time to further find out my needs and what i want in a potential new vehicle. I found the perfect car and was informed about all of the features that were important to me which was very helpful. When we got back from the test drive the sales person went to go get pricing on the new car and my trade ins. When she came back with the numbers what they offered for my trades were much less then i expected so needless to say i was upset. Brandon seen we were not happy and came and introduced himself as the manager and explained to us in a very professional manner how the numbers are calculated, after a few minutes of us expressing our concerns they patiently worked with us to get more for our cars to keep us satified which we appreciated. We were very pleased with our overall expirience at metro thanks to the manager and our sales person. We will do business with them in the future and will refer our friends and family there to buy cars.

TERRIBLE STEALERSHIP! - Spoke with them about a car and they confirmed ot as being in stock. ITalked with them again and said I would come today. Since I'm in MA, nearly an hour drive from Johnston RI, I called right before leaving to confirm that the specific car was still available. They asked for the details, checked, and told me it was. I drove for nearly an hour and when i got there, I found out the car was sold two days earlier but they had a different car, if I'm interested. They tried to back peddle and say it just sold - they should have saw that it was labeled as sold in the show room with the date - 2 days ago. When i pointed that out, they said "oh, we consider it sold when you come to pick it up, not when you leave a deposit and fill out the P&S. What a load of crap. My next mistake was reluctantly staying for a test drive and then proceeding to run numbers. The second car had 10K more miles, no options compared to the other and no sticker price.. . come to find out they tried to get me to pay 2K more than the other. The whole transaction continued to go south we each and every line of BS they could shovel at me. 2 hrs later - I finally walked out on them. Final comment: google "Care Dealership Scams" and you will find Metro"s playbook. At one point, they reduced the cost of the car during negotiating but tried to hide the fact that they also reduced my trade-in value thus netting a zero reduction in cost. Nice Try!

i don't know the sales manager's name because he wasn't courteous enough to give his card or even introduce him self - he just came over calling me "hey buddy" and then started to shove the deal down my throat- on my first visit to this dealership they ran my credit without me signing any papers, no disclosure just rush, rush and rush. the internet team are just straight forward liars (their goal is just to get you in by promising you the world) only to come to even more liars sale staff well equipped with all the tricks on the book on top of being very rude - i have been back and forth with them trying to purchase a new CR-V - after 3 weeks of lies and false promises Jason called me and told me they have the color i am looking for so i insisted on going through all the details of the deals with him before i go down to get the car and asked if i can deal with him since every time i go there i end up with is young floor sales manager ready to slaughter his victims of course Jason made up an excuse no to see me and asked me to ask for Brendan who will know all the details of our agreement and he assured me that he will be waiting for me - sure enough i went down there to ask for this mysterious Brendan, of course no one paid attention to my request and i ended up with the same young sales manager and as soon as i told him the details of deal with Jason, he looked at me and said """ YOU MUST BE OUT OF YOUR MIND""" kidding you not he said those exact same words - then he start talking about my "credit is not good enough for the deal" the same credit that they pulled 3 weeks ago - i just stood up and walked out that place & will never go back there again even if the offer me a free car...

Overall, this is a horrible place. John is OK. But Jason and their sale manager are totally a s.... Don't waste your time there, no matter what price they say over phone or by email. They will not honor anything, even what they say in front of you 5 mins before. If you just want to have a test drive, that is fine. Go there, grab a car, and drive around. DO NOT sit down and spend any time afterward. They play all kinds of tricks (most are very stupid) to steal money from you. In Metro Honda, if you think that there is an honest person, that person must be from Mars.

SERVICE RIP-OFF !!!I needed to have a computer diagnostic performed on my 2000 Honda accord to get the code for fixing the check engine light (even though the car has continued to run fine for the last year) . I called and was told it was $104.00 for the diagnostic fee which I thought was high but wanted to find out what the problem was. When they called to tell me what the problem was. I was told the estimate to repair the problem was over $500.00. I told them to forget it ad I would be down to pick up the car. When I arrived the service cashier handed me the bill that was $138.66 which was not only higher than what I was quoted on the phone it included a $14.75 MISC/ENVIROMENTAL charge. I question how there was an environmental charge on hooking up a diagnostic computer to read a computer code. She asked another person about it in the service department and they replied oh thats on all the bills now Corporate policy. I said that was a rip-off and wanted to talk to the Manager. After wait 10 minute for the Service Manger Ed to come out I asked about the charges to which he replied it must have been some miscellaneous items or consumables used during the testing. I replied your charging $122.00 for labor and you still need to charge additional amount for consumables? I told him we purchased this car from this dealer and have brought it in for routine maintenance for oil changes and tire rotations, over the years. His reply was well maybe I could take some off like $7.00 of the bill. I told him he could keep the seven bucks as it would be the last penny he ever saw for me, which didnt even get an Im sorry you feel that way response for him. Additionally once I got home and looked at the suggested service on the bill there was approximately $2500.00 of work they where telling me need to be done. They wanted $176.15 for replacing the spark plugs. You may or may no be mechanically inclined reading this but I can tell you spark plugs are less then $10.00 apiece (they probably pay $3.00) and there a 4 of them and it cant take more than 15 minutes to replace them!!!!!!!!!!!! RIP-OFF; STAY AWAY !!!!!!

Ray put a lot of pressure on me to buy the car on the night I test drove the car. He gave me what I thought was a good deal (3 hours of back and forth to management). Once I walked out of the dealership and my car was conveniently in the back of the building(to determine trade in value). I felt a little trapped.Unfortunately, I bought the car and the car was not what I expected. The high pressure sales and the lenght of time at the dealership (and my in-experience)caused me to make a decision that was not in my best interrest. If I could go back to that day I would not repeat the same mistake. I never would have set foot in Metro Honda. Metro Honda is lacking employees with integrity. Also, the finance manager added a etching fee of $199.00 for an etching on the windows that was added by the previous owner. That $199.00 is the least of my problems but the staw that broke the camel's back.

Contacted the internet department to get a price on a new Honda Odyssey. Was given a pretty nice price and decided to drive over to purchase the car at the promised price. I had informed them I would be driving 1h30m to the dealer since the price was good and I had had a good experience 3 years ago with this dealership. When I got in the tricks started pouring in. The price I was given was including my trade in (although weirdly enough they had to take a look at my car after I got there to give me the trade-in price... what gives? If you gave me the price for the new car including the trade in why even bother telling me the trade in price after seeing the old car). All was very badly explained. When I asked them to give them a price on the new car *without* the trade-in they were completely incapable of doing so. I asked 3 times only to get another explanation on why they were offering so little on my old car. After all this "dance", the salesperson called his manager (recognize the trick anyone?). He went again through the explanation of the scenario I had asked them to drop (please give me a number without the trade-in!!!). I was trying to be patient until the "manager" tried to apply the trick "You better buy it here, we have the only car of the model you want around here, other dealers will not have it and Honda is not sending any new cars you want till the end of the year" (my wife got it right on the money after we left... maybe they should close doors if they are not getting any more new cars till the end of the year right?!!?). Anyway, this popped my lid and I just said "*That* is a lie, I am done dealing with you". The "manager" quite rudely and in a loud voice turned to the other salesman and outraged stated "Now I'm a liar!". He sarcastically and with a smirk wished me "Good luck in finding your new car!". At that point I just stormed out, contacted other dealers *closer to me* and got the car I wanted at a really good price (BTW: other dealers I contacted also had the model I wanted...still surprised by that???). That other dealership (Boch Honda West in Westford MA) was great, everybody was top notch and they had the exact model I was looking for, more than one actually (anyone surprised by that?). Metro Honda in johnston was a total waste of my time. They were rude, dishonest and tried to apply all the tricks in the book. My advice: find another dealer to do business with.

First, no one in the dealership could help us with a purchase. Floormats were promised, but they ended up being cheap no-name brand. On the first day we wouldn't accept their lowest offer and the salesman Frank proceeded to make it public that "He's not going to take the deal!" It was very embarrassing and if it weren't for the lower price they offered, we would have left. The price ended up being $200 lower than the nearest competitor, but it ended up that we had to pay for an additional mandatory "protection package" for $200 - what a rip-off. The car was promised to be registered on a Tuesday and I had arranged my schedule to pick up the car then (I live in another state). It turned out that my salesman was off that day and had not informed any of his co-workers, so when we called for an update, no one seemed to know what was going on. I called about 20 times, and the call was bounced back from the receptionist to a condescending, incompetent salesman who couldn't offer any advice other than "I'll put you in touch with Frank" or "I can give you Frank's number". Seeing as how this was insulting my intelligence, I hung up.It turned out allegedly, that the registry person, having been incorrectly supplied with the wrong insurance information, could not register the car and was subsequently thrown out of the RMV for arguing with the teller. EVERYONE in the office either 1) had no clue what was going on or 2) was intentionally trying to hide this information from me. When we were finally able to pick up the car later that week Frank offered the keys to us and said he'd "be right back". Fifteen minutes later he is nowhere to be found, so we left without a handshake or acknowledgement that we purchased a car from them. NEVER going here again and if you are foolhardy enough to go - make sure they do not sneak in additional fees.

I am writing because I have never had a worse experience with any other business. I ended up at Metro to find a deal on the car that the had advertised on Auto trader. It turns out that they did not have the black 2009 Honda Pilot that I was looking for. It sold that morning even though I confirmed with the internet dept that it was still there. I drove 1hr from work and 1.5hrs home for a switch and bait scam. The salespeople and floor manager are very high pressure. They had me test drive another Pilot that I later found was listed for $4500 dollars more than advertised. They would make a deal and make it worthwhile. It just came in and had no price on it. Fishy? I sat through the scribble on the paper and negotiate process on a 2011. I figured that I could get a good deal on the last day of the quarter. I would have gotten a lot more for my trade in and $1500 off the price of a new car. I made it to the end of negotiations and realized how fast I got sucked in...a total blur. My wife wasn't happy and advised me to back out. Two days later I received a call from Rob McLauglin, the floor manager that they had just gotten the car that I wanted off lease and I negotiated over the phone with him for my price. The deposit was refundable even if I didn't like it. He stated that it would be ready in three days and certified. The car was great and I was very happy with the purchase until I got home. There was nothing on the paper work to state that this car was certified and I questioned it. Rob stated that there was nothing he could give me in writing. I questioned this and the tire depth. He stated that he would look into it. Three weeks later after a cal to Honda INT, I found out that my car was certified and they mailed me a packet I never received a returned phone call after leaving multiple messages. I called my salesman's cell phone, the floor manager, left messages for the general manager and the owner. Next big surprise!!! 3 weeks later. I went down to CT registration to find out that my car wasn't registered and I couldn't register it myself. I didn't have the title yet and according to metro because it was a lease, they didn't either. My temporary plate was to expire in four days!!! Since that time and up to this week my car wasn't registered. I made over 75 calls and only spoke to someone in five instances with no calls back. They apparently find no value in a telephone call or communicating with their customers. When I finally threatened legal action and put a hold on my deposit with my credit card, they finally picked up.I amazingly spoke with the general managers and one of the owners..Rob Greico, himself. These was 60 calls later. The last 15-20 were to get a hold of anyone to finalize having the tires checked out and to have my wife and 3 small children to come down and get it registered. They gave me a dealer plate to hold me over. They started the process on 5/17/11 and it is finally done . A runner was sent out with my plates as my wife demanded. They stated 'Oh yeah, they are here and you can pick them up. This was after promising to send the runner down. This was the third manager/owner that we had spoke to in the last 2 weeks. My wife and I only received a total of three calls back on the last 75+ calls and messages that were left. We never received a call of apology. we are never going back or recommending that anyone go there. They do care about a single thing after the sale. These people are impossible to deal with and have many sub-human qualities that I wish that I had never discovered. Six weeks of pure hell after the purchase of my car on 4/6/11. This was the last thing that I needed after having my third child on 3/10/11.

After 3.5 weeks, my vehicle still isn't registered. My temporary plates have expired, and they are unwilling to work with me fix this problem. I have demanded that they register the vehicle, and they have told me they will "TRY" to do it when the can.

I was looking to buy my first new car and still deciding between a Honda Fit and a Scion xD. I had done my research many days before actually going to a dealership, but was still on the fence with which car to go with. This was the first dealership I went to for more questions and a test-drive. The sales rep assumed I was there for a joyride because I am quite young, even though I showed up ready to put $5000 down on the car if I was impressed. Rather than help me, he only humored me. He was unable to answer many of my questions, but my favorite response of his was after I asked why the Fit was better in any way than the xD. "Whatever, pick one," were his very words. I had gone with my mother for support and he wasn't helpful or respectful toward either of us and sighed like we were taking up his time. In the end, I did go with the Fit, but I went to a different dealership.

I had gone to Metro Honda, looking for a used car or a new honda. I had seen some honda commericals. I had a Nissan Sentra I was leasing and wanted to get out of it. The salesperson Rob, was very nice. When it came time to make a deal, they barely wanted to give me what I owed on my car, they wouldn't really do much on pricing. It was all about how much can you put down and what kind of payment you want. I was less than happy with the experience. When I finally got all the paperwork through, the business office, told me oh, they throw in the extended warranty. That wasn't the case they charged me 2k to make up the difference they lost on the vechicle. I have been repeatly called to bring my car in for service there even after telling them not interested. After 6 mos or so I received some information from them in the mail. I made an appt to get more information. The salesperson was rude, and was very uninterested in helping us. The paperwork i had showed me I could upgrade to a newer used car. The first words from his mouth were how much you putting down. Never asked what i was interested in or anything. then I noticed he had my registration and insurance information. He went into my compartment and got it without asking. Then he tried to rush us out the back door because he had another customer. After calling the manager to complain, I received a call back 6 hours after leaving. He was basically telling me you wanted a new car or nothing. I corrected him and said no I wanted to upgrade but no ever asked what I wanted. I also told him you lost a customer and your business office never called back with information on the warranty after 5 messages. I will never buy anything from this dealership nor do service there. They more than wasted my time. Awful!

Service department should be called in service. Especially when it is a new car under warranty. Never bring your car here for service. They go out of their way to try to charge for warranty work. On a car with 10,000 miles on it. This should not be an issue. Three hours layer. It only gets worse. I will never buy or service a car at Metro Honda again.

My search for a used Honda started online. There were 2 prices on Metro's website for the same car. One was significantly lower than the other. I drove over 50 miles to see the car and the salesman didn't believe me about the 2 prices until I showed him a printout. Once I drove the car I told him I would consider the car but would not be ready with a bank check until Monday(it was Saturday). I told him that if it sold, it sold and I would be out of luck. He told me that a personal check for the entire amount would be fine. Not true according to someone I spoke to on the phone. The next day, Sunday, I called and asked for the bottom line price so I could bring a check on Monday. He told me to come back in to discuss the price. I reminded him that I live over 50 miles away. I told him I only needed to know all fees above the price of the car. He said he wouldn't discuss the fees over the phone. He then said (and I paraphrase here): "Someone is test driving the car now. Wait, it's sold." I had my daughter call later in the day to find out if it was really sold. The answer: NO. Did I buy from Metro: NO. I should have paid attention to Deal Rater.

0 STAR for everything. I would have given them 0 star if I could. Do not buy from Metro Honda, RI. They would not honor their offer on the phone and wasted my 2 hrs time driving there from CT. First thing I went in, they tried to sell me this financing scheme and tell me I can put more than 3K down because the bank requires so!? I went along with it (should have left then, what a mistake!). Then came salesman Rob telling me they didn't have the color in stock while they specially tell me over the phone 2 hrs before my arrival that they have it in stock. I was enraged at this point. Oh yeah, he didn't even let me test drive because I told him I went to another dealership already! He went inside to the office and now came sales manager Paul Bender claimed that no one have ever offered me anything and give me this "today is the last day" sales pitch. After arguing back and forth, I left vowing to report them. They will never get business from me or from anyone I know. They didn't even offer an apology for wasting my time. Pathetic group of people. Do not buy from them. They are dishonest and shaddy. Don't believe a word they say. I am reporting them to BBB and Honda Headquarters. Can't believe they are still in business. 0 STAR!

bought a new ridgeline, all was well until i went back for my perm. plates. The dealer said i owed another $200 for registration because they claimed they had no idea how much reg. was in CT. They refused to give me the plates until i payed.(what is a contract agreement for?) Reported to the dmv and cons. protection. STAY AWAY. Very dishonest people.

Metro Honda is the type of dealership that gives the car industry a bad name. I went in after doing my research ready to buy and walked out vowing to never give them a chance at my business. All they want to do is show you an inflated monthly payment and only provide vague answers when you inquire about details. The salesman was nice enough in making sure the test drive was ok, but I felt he thought the pricing was just a formality. When I countered their initial price quote, cutting through the bs and focusing on the real numbers of how much and my car, with a fair price (maybe slightly low), I was asked to leave. I honestly felt that they realized they had an educated consumer who they could not fast talk and therefore, couldn't make time to come to terms on a fair price. I had bought cars at Metro in the past, but will never even give them the opportunity at getting my business.

Hi, our names are Bill, Betty and Beth from Cape Cod, MA. We have been searching between MA and RI for a new 2008 Honda Accord loaded. We visited large dealers such as Majestic Honda, Herb Chambers Motor Group, Atamian Honda, Bernardi Honda, Boch Honda among many others within MA and RI. We called all the dealers first, we were told the same story about our used trade-in, we need to see the vehicle before we can give you a price toward the new Honda Accord. After hearing the Metro Honda RI radio commercial, we started searching online for Metro Honda RI. We found them using Google and Yahoo. We visited the website which was not the easiest the navigate through. Once you leave the main page, you are lost. The website was designed very poorly for older people. But anyways, we ended up calling the phone number listed. We were pleasantly greeted on the phone by a person named Alex. We inquired about a new Honda Accord 2008 loaded and told Alex we had a trade. Alex informed us that they would need to see the car but he would give us an estimate of what the car was worth I "mint" condition which no other dealership would do. After hearing what he had to offer, we decided to take an hour and 20 minute ride to Metro Honda RI in Johnston, RI. When we walked in, we were greeted by a very pleasent salesperson named Al. We asked for Alex, the sale person asked if we would like something to drink while we waited for Alex, which by the way caught us off guard. Offering someone something not even knowing if we were going to purchase a vehicle was very nice and professional. We waited for Alex to arrive in our cube. We spoke to Alex about what we wanted and told him that we were so happy with his service on the telephone, we decided to drive in from Cape Cod. One thing led to another, after going back and forth with figures for the trade and the new vehicle, which they had in-stock, we sealed a deal. What a "Professional" dealership Metro Honda RI has. This is the first time we have had any kind of dealings with them and it will be the only dealership we deal with into the future. Robert Grieco was a very nice boy, one of the owners. He was very professional and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with the deal before it was closed. We rate Metro Honda RI a 5 Star for Professionalism and Service. Let my wife and I say this, if they had a higher price than the other dealerships, we still would have purchased from them due to the "Professional" way in which they run the company. What a classy family and great bunch of people. Thank you!! Bill and Betty and Beth from Cape Cod.

I was looking to buy a new Honda, so I figured I'd stop by Metro Honda on the way home. BIG MISTAKE, two red flags went up that should have told to get out of there. First, they wanted $500 as a deposit from a credit card as soon as I sat down to talk(first red flag). I asked "Why, I haven't decided to buy anything yet?". He said "Don't worry you'll get it back whether you buy the car or not." They did not have the color I was looking for, but they said they could get it. Then they asked and I quote, "How much are you willing to pay to get that color?"(second red flag). I just laughed and said what do you think, nothing. He said it could cost around $500. After some more talk and him going back and forth to his manger, I throw out a number of $250 just to get things going. He comes back from his manager he says it will cost $300 to get the car in the color I want. Before I signed the purchasing agreement, I asked, "I am under no obligation to buy this car, right?". His reply, "No sir, you are NOT obligated in any way". The next day, after talking with my wife, I told them I did not want the car anymore, because I did not want to pay the additional $300. (I found out afterwards that they just trade the same car for a different color with another dealer.) Finally after three days of them calling and lowering the price $50 here, a $100 there, they told me that if I don't buy the car I will forfeit the $500. If your thinking about going to Metro Honda, instead do the following, take a toothpick and jam it in your eye, it'd be more enjoyable.

I have interacted with this dealership twice. After my first experience, I can only blame myself for going back the second time. SERVICE: I had my Honda Accord get its routine maintenance (60K or 75K or something like that) at the dealer because it seemed like the "right" thing to do (normally I go to Jiffy Lube). I called around and got price quotes from the dealers. Metro's was the lowest, by about $40, so I figured "Oh, they do high volume so they can charge less." Not so. I can't comment on their volume, but I can tell you why the quote was lower -- because they didn't do everything in the Honda Owner's Manual for recommended stuff. In fact, as I recall, I drove the car away after being serviced and it was making a terrible noise that it had never made before. I turned right back around to the service dept. and they gave me some line about "Oh, well you only paid to have the such-and-such installed...it's an extra $XXX to have it adjusted so the car drives properly." Arrogant jerks! I argued and argued and we split the difference in cost. Now of course, after that experience why would I ever go back? Well because I was in the market for a new van, and they had their new fancy location, so I figured maybe things had changed. The more things change, the more they stay the same.SALES: Ditto what the other guy said about the sales pitch. It is car sales absolutely by the book. Although our actual salesman was very nice, and I wouldn't mind spending time with him, once the managers/financial/numbers guy got involved, it got ugly. Fancy sales pitches, "you sit here while I go talk to my manager and see if we can't make this work for you," artificially inflating numbers and badmouthing the other guy ("why would you want to drive a Toyota? I used to work there and we used to lose customers to Honda every day. I knew why. It's because Toyotas are junk." WHAT?!) I felt dirty after being trapped at that little negotiating table. It was like something out of a bad movie. After I finally extracted myself from their showroom I decided I'm never going back. And I warn you never to go there either. Presumably if you're reading this review you're fairly net savvy and aware of the advantages of buying a car over the net (no haggles, no hassles and a much lower final sales price). If you're going to buy a honda, either contact carsdirect.com to get a fixed low price, or if you want to invest a little more time and save a few hundred bucks more, email lots of dealerships in the area and get a price in writing before you set foot on their lot. There should be absolutely no pressure with internet car shopping, something Metro Honda has missed the boat on entirely.

I'd only recommend this dealership to people who have done their research. You're so screwed if you don't.. but then again that's at any dealership. Edmunds.com rules. :)The first warning sign is that their cars do NOT have prices listed on them! Neither the new or used. As soon as you get out of your car to go look at a window just incase there is a price listed, a salesman comes out of nowhere with a sheet of paper and starts reading prices off to you. Then he will ask you if you looked into new because pfft, hey! It's a Honda, The new VP models go for the same price as a used. But of course shitty options. It's ok though because they can remake your VP model by putting an automatic shift and sunroof in..etc. (Sarcasm!)I was sure I wanted a used car because I wanted the options. But I did want to test drive the new Civics for the hell of it and I was curious as to what the prices were..So I get Mike as a salesman. He was nice, funny, great guy that Mike. Except for the fact he's like a book with the salesman lines. Everything he was saying was so predictable. He used the "Up too?" trick after he asked a monthly payment and I said $250. So I played along and said $300" He smirked. LOL. So was I, on the inside. He had to go talk to his boss to get better prices and he'd leave me sitting there for about 10-15 minutes each time. He didn't seem to understand that my budget was closer to $250 a month and $320+ was pushing it. I know what I can afford.. Like if he kept begging and twisting word around, my income would magically be able to handle that. LOLI also didn't let him do a credit check because I did not want the hard pull on my report. But I told him what my FICO was and he said that was enough. The guy would not let me leave. Everytime the conversation started to die or I wanted to leave, he'd bring up something else. I can't believe I was there for an hour..Oh towards the end, I guess Mike's "Boss" finally came out and asked what they could do to make me take the deal today. Same lines Mike was saying.I didn't buy a car from them because the new cars are out of my price range and they had nothing I wanted in the used.I'd recommend someone go to a no-haggle dealership and then go to Metro with a pricematch and know your stuff. Don't fall for any of those lines or their need to control you or you will get screwed.

I bought a used Honda Accord EX from this dealer. During the test drive the car ran out of gas, but the idiot light did not come on. (Speaking of idiot lights, the fact that I pointed out the car was low on gas before we left for the test drive but the salesman assured me we were OK should have told me something.) I asked salesman to have the light fixed. When I took delivery, he assured me it was fixed. He also told me they only had one key, but I could have keys made anywhere for a few bucks. These were both lies. The car had a 2 month warrantee. Within a week of delivery I discovered several problems -- mirrors didn't work, doors didn't lock, etc. I notified salesman and said I'd come in close to the 2-month date so everything could be done at once. Dealer's literature says, "Free loaner vehicles (by appointment)." Before 2-mo. anniversary, I called salesman to make appointment. He said he'd get back to me. Weeks later, they finally made an appointment for warrantee work, but when I got there they didn't have technicians to do the work. I had to argue with them for a loaner car so I could leave the car there, but they wouldn't give me one. So I had to come back. I live about 1 hr. away, so this is a real hardship. They also told me the sole key they gave me, which costs about $100 to make, was a valet key. I have no key to the trunk. After 4 trips, they still haven't fixed the gas light or given me more keys, and now they are refusing to do so. Several items that the owners manual says are standard equipment on this model were missing. I asked for an explanation but never got one. Both the sales manager and the used-car sales manager are very rude and arrogant. They seem to be listening challenged. When I ask them why they don't want to honor their warantee they say because it's a used car and it's been a long time -- even though reported everything and brought the car in before the two months were up. Either they are too stupid to count two months or they are dishonest -- you decide. I have never dealt with a more arrogant, incompetent, and dishonest group of people in the automotive business.

What’s more, Grieco Honda of Johnston has been on the market for a very long time and remains the preferred dealership for buyers looking for used cars and trucks for sale. From low mileage used cars to cheapest used cars, there is something for you from Grieco Honda. Check out the listings today to find the right car for yourself. Grieco Honda is definitely the best place to buy used cars online.
